First day!!!
Drew a few shadows (you can see them around LOL), but this one is based off of a closeup shot of a Sonic IDW comic cropped by @/sundewdoesntcare >:D
17 years ago I was told that "you should not use references and tutorials, because you won't find your own artstyle". At the time I believed it and lived with this principle. It was really frustratig draw at that time.
However, current artwork that I'm working on made me unsatisfied about my way of drawing characters and lineart. For first time I studied how to draw the characters and looked up lineart tutorials from YouTube. I also lesrned to use Krita's stabilitation feature. This drawing session really thought me how to draw and what kind of artist I am. Why I didn't do this sooner? Why I followed blindly of one bad advice?
Day 10- Saw a drawing prompt with a funny pose and decided that this is how it would go on a post mission lmfao
This set has my favorite rouge of the sketchbook thus far^^
