Edit 4/7/24: Check out this post I made instead and try and redirect your attention to getting people out of Gaza as quickly as possible, thank you!
----------
You can donate to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund for as little as $1.00.
Tumblr media
There is a fee you can choose to apply to cover processing.
Tumblr media
Which if you choose to do leaves you with a total of ~$1.35 (USD) depending on the type of card you have.
Tumblr media
PCRF has a score of 97% on Charity Navigator.
Adults and children alike are currently dying in Palestine due to starvation. (World Health Organization Link)
The Gaza Strip is one of two places in the entire world that is categorized as Phase 5 (the highest phase) on the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification scale.
So even if you think it isn't enough, remember that donating even as little as $1.35 helps! It's $1.35 they wouldn't have had otherwise. So donate if you can. 🇵🇸

If you don't mind me asking, can I ask your top favorite fics that you've written (feel free how much that you want to list)? Why they're special to you? Is there a specific inspiration when you wrote them?
100% you can!!! I loved writing my fics a lot, and love talking about them hehe. I'm very glad you asked!!
Number 2 is a bit explicit (a little nsfw!) so pls watch out!!
Number one has to be: trouble in tokyo
I started writing trouble as my own little self-indulgent fic in my documents after hearing a spoiler about Yuuji being brothers with Choso, Eso and Kechizu. I wanted to write him being spoilt by his brothers and by Sukuna as his brother, too (I'd seen some AUs where they were twins and fell in love w the concept)-- and that's all the first 3 chapters were. The remaining were completely unplanned haha.
I wrote a poem to be the titles of each chapter (og chapters were named after the songs I listened to while writing them), and started to accidentally stumble across a plot-- until I had written the whole thing. It was a big shock to me! But I love it so so much-- I loved coming up with ideas for it, I was writing it everywhere haha. And seeing others loving it too made me feel so warm and happy inside, so TIT is my number 1.
Number two is undoubtedly: behavioural issues
This is a vld klance fic, I used to be in the vld fandom during its golden years-- I've seen some shit. But I never wrote klance fics back then. My friend and I got back into it in 2021 for the fanfics, and one night we were texting at 3am, and I came up with the dumbest idea I think I've ever had. What if Keith came eggs instead of semen? What if he thought Lance's name was Taylor instead of Lance because he called himself the Tailor back then (bcs of how he threads the loop ofc)? What would happen? And I wrote it all then and there, in bed, on my phone. I fell asleep halfway through, woke up, finished it and posted without a second thought.
It's my magnus opum. <- and I mean that spelling with all my heart. This fic is so, so dumb. I truly love it.
Number three is a difficult choice but I'd have to say: amor de batom
This is a zolu fic-- I really love zolu as a pairing, the devotion Zoro has for Luffy and the infallible trust Luffy has in Zoro just tickles something in my brain and heart. I like this fic for how silly and simple it is-- it isn't as long as the others, but it was certainly just as fun to write. It's named lipstick love in Portuguese bcs Luffy is Brazilian and I will always rep that!!!
Number four, the reason why three is difficult, is: The Butterfly Effect
I love this fic because I love fix-its. I also love Yuuji's dynamics with his brothers, and expanding on the concept of the death paintings. But, I do have complicated feelings towards this fic!
Number five is: Gemini.
Gemini is an unposted fic!! I hope to post it when The Butterfly Effect is coming to a close-- it's JJK, Yuuji and Sukuna-centric! A bit creepy in some parts, or at least that's how I'm trying to make it!
Number six is: it's an ambush!
I love writing 'brothers meet the boyfriend' scenes. A lot. I'm sure you all know this by now lololol, considering tit, butterfly and ambush all have these scenes. But for real, I like Zoro having to, very reluctantly, speak his feelings out loud, because I feel like it's something he wouldn't really otherwise do. Both Zoro and Luffy let their actions speak for them mostly, I feel. Their unique understanding of one another and natural protective and possessive tendencies, would probably be really amusing from an outsider's pov.
I also love having Ace and Sabo be protective over Luffy hehe. Nobody's allowed to mess with Luffy but them-- but nobody's allowed to mess with Luffy at all with Zoro. So they're in an interesting standoff there!
And the final (because this is getting too long, very sorry!) is: These Brownies Weren't Laced, So Why Is Everyone Acting Like They're On Drugs?
I don't have much experience with Inumaki or Yuta, so it was really fun to figure out their quirks and assign them love languages! I am a big Yuuji lover, as I'm sure you all know, so I love writing him being spoiled. Megumi's wealth, Inumaki's cheekiness and Yuta's earnestness are pretty much me giving him the classic 'marry a rich man', 'marry someone you can laugh with' and 'marry someone who is sweet to you'!
I asked my friend if I should include Choso, Eso and Kechizu and she said how tf will they date Yuuji if those three are around? So it was just big brother Sukuna and their hereditary, complementary techniques (that I messed around with, dismantle is more like 'deconstruct' or 'destroy' than what it actually is in the manga!)
And those are my top 7 favourite fics that I've posted! Honourable mention to my first ever fic, Why I Love You (wrote it when I was very young, bnha, momojirou), and my series I'm about to update: Animalia (Yuuji is a cat!!)

did anyone order a luffy mermaid au?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
in this universe, he’s usually a person with legs cuz of the human-human fruit, but he also falls in the water all the goddamn time and reverts back to fish.
he still gets all weak in the water cuz of the devil fruit, so he’s kinda just a useless floppy fish sometimes 😅

Now for the Fushiita brainrot because, as we all know, I cannot control myself.
Megumi meets Yuuji when the pod he's staying with is attacked by Ryoumen Sukuna - one of the members had given him a rotted seaplum as an offering. This is a massive slight.
Megumi is prepared to flee the village, but his sister Tsumiki (tail is brown on the sides with a pale gold centre) swims in to save the guppies. She ends up coming face-to-face with Sukuna-- and Megumi is too far away. He won't be able to save her.
But as it turns out, he didn't need to. Because before Sukuna could do more than smirk meanly at his sister, a pink blur was crashing into him.
"Brat." He'd growled out, all 10 of his octopus arms lashing out to try to grab the pink mer. At first, Megumi thought it was Sukuna's younger sibling, because of all the pink and violence.
But then the mer swam out from behind Sukuna, revealing his whole body and face and all Megumi could think was 'Oh...'
Not one to be taken that off guard by mere appearances, he gathered his bearings and swam in to sweep Tsumiki and the guppy away from the danger, managing to hide them all in a relatively spacious reef.
The reef had a good vantage point to watch the fight between the pretty pink mer and Sukuna. Somehow, the mer was landing quite a few hits on him, even using his own blood as a distraction and weapon. 'A Kamo?' Megumi thought, eyes straining to see if the mer's tail had the Kamo's black vein marks streaking through his scales.
But it was just a regular pink tail. A nice once, too. It reminded him of dyed seaglass and the gentle glow of growlights that illuminated seacrop farms.
Megumi knew he wasn't from that pod, and from the impeccable shine of his scales and lack of fin tears and scars, he didn't appear to be a travelling warrior. So why was he fighting Sukuna...?
Eventually, he and Sukuna moved out of Megumi's sight. He waited in the reef with his sister and the guppy for a whole sleeping cycle before emerging.
Most of the pod survived. And it was all because of that pink mer...
He encounters him a few more times, each time getting closer and closer than the last until the pink mer finally turns around and sees him.
"Hey," He says, and Megumi's heart skips a beat. "Are those your squids?"
Megumi glances back at his luminescent squids, which are swimming around his tail peacefully.
"Yeah." He says.
"They're so cool." The mer says. "Can I pet them?"
"Yeah." He says.
And the mer does.
The fleeing squids love him. They light up white and pink, swimming under his arms, brushing past his tail and settling in his hair. He loves them right back.
Megumi thinks he might love him, too.
"I'm Fushiguro Megumi." He says.
"I'm Kusozu Yuuji." Yuuji says.
"... Are you a traveller?"
"Yeah, I'm travelling around with my brothers. They like to settle sometimes. How about you?"
"I travel with my sister.. We don't really settle much."
Yuuji nods understandingly.
"It can be pretty dangerous in these waters, huh. But it's nice to travel anyway-- there are so many beautiful things in the seas."
"Yeah... She thinks so, too."
"Oh? You don't?"
"I'm more focused on keeping us alive." Megumi says
"Huh..." Yuuji itches a few squids on their suckers, making them go crazy with happiness. "That sounds pretty stressful."
"It's fine." Megumi says, shrugging. "The animals help."
"You mean these little guys?" Yuuji says, and Megumi is about to get defensive about how useful they are-- but Yuuji isn't done. "Yeah I bet they do! Their abilities are super useful, they can signal you and distract others, create a cover for escape-- what good little inklings!"
Megumi is stunned. He's about to ask if Yuuji is single-- when he hears his sister calling.
He looks between the ave his sister's in and Yuuji, torn.
"Hey," Yuuji says. "That's your sister, right? Looks like you have to go."
Megumi wants to tell him no, say that he can stay longer-- but his duty to his only family left wins out.
"Yeah. I do..."
"Well... I'll tell you what." Yuuji says, brightening. "My brothers and I will be here for a few more days. How about we meet up tomorrow? Unless you guys have to leave..."
"No." Megumi says immediately. "We aren't leaving... I guess we can meet tomorrow. I need to hunt though, so--"
"We can do it together!"
Megumi arches a brow. He looks down at his own tail, pitch black with no colour variations at any part, and then down at Yuuji's, bright pink and sparkling with a gold sheen.
"Oi! It's rude to judge other peoples' tails, y'know." Yuuji teases. Megumi scoffs.
"I'm a good hunter," Yuuji says. "You'll see!"
Megumi nods, but doesn't really believe him.
That sleeping cycle, all he can think of is Yuuji's happy smile as he plays with Megumi's fleeing squids.
-
When they meet up to hunt the next day, Megumi almost gives Yuuji a proper apology.
Yuuji is fast-- faster than any mer Megumi has ever seen (with the exceptions of Ryoumen Sukuna and Gojo Satoru, or Devil 1 and 2) and he's strong, too. He carries the whole net, filled with fish, back to the pod easily. He has great stamina, not tiring ocne throughout the whole ordeal, and a good heart, offering fish to anyone who asks and even those who are too shy or proud to.
Yuuji is good.
Too good for him.
And yet, Megumi yearns for him all the same.
His Divine Dugongs appear with a few jewels for them to trade, and he thanks them with some of the haul from their hunt.
Yuuji, predictably, is enamoured with them.
"They're so adorable! I didn't know dugongs could be black and white!"
"They were born when I was. Every Whale Return since my birth, another shadow animal was born for me-- the squids were for my 6th" Megumi says. He doesn't even realise until after he's said it, but it's the first time he's ever actually told anyone about his blessings.
"That's so cool, Fushiguro!" Yuuji says. Megumi's cheeks heat. Both Shiro and Kuro are attached to Yuuji already, basking in his affection and rolling over for him easily.
"So, where are your brothers?" Megumi says, not wanting to have to face any more of Yuuji's praise head-on. "You said you were travelling together..."
"They're around! I know Sanso's been watching me since this morning, so Tanso probably followed him when he woke up. If I'm not back to bring them their lunches, Kechizu, Noranso and Shooso will come find me." He says. Megumi's head spins.
"Wait." He says, feeling very off-centre all of a sudden. "How many brothers do you have...?"
"Nine!" Yuuji says joyfully. "I'll take you to meet them if you like? They're kinda silly at first but they're nice."
"I..." Megumi glanced down at the fish they'd caught. He should really go give some to Tsumiki.
But Yuuji looked so hopeful...
"How about tomorrow?"
Yuuji beamed.
"Sounds good! I'll see you then, Fushiguro!"
Megumi waved as Yuuji swam off, the golden sheen of his tail catching in the light. doesn't know when he'd become so desperate to please Yuuji.
That night, he tells Tsumiki about Yuuji.
"He's kind. Helpful."
"Ahuuuuuuuhhhhhh..." She grins at him annoyingly, implying... things very heavily.
"It's not like that." He cuts her off.
"Right, right... So I'm meeting his brothers for a meal caught and cooked by the two of you--"
"He caught most of the fish and I'm not cooking--"
"Shh! And your shadows love him and he loves them and he can beat up Ryoumen Sukuna and his tail is the most beautiful thing you've ever seen--"
"Oi, I never said that."
"But you thought it, didn't you?"
"Be quiet. And be normal tomorrow."
"Mhm, mhm." Tsumiki noded, retreating to her mossbed. Megumi scowled.
Despite what Tsumiki thought (which was. Admittedly. Just very slightly based on the truth), Megumi wasn't gunning to court Yuuji. They'd just met. Yuuji was... He was good. Attractive, strong, kind, fast, everything. Megumi didn't have a pod or riches or skills to offer him. He was well-travelled, they got along well and Megumi could protect him from that which he was too kind to protect himself from, but...
Megumi could admit he was not the best choice for Yuuji.
He sighed, settling into his own bedding. He should get a good night's sleep. Even if nothing would happen between them, Megumi wasn't a slob. It wouldn't do to visit Yuuji with drooping fins.
"So when are you planning on mating him--"
"Tsumiki!"
JJK Mermaid AU just sitting in my documents-- Yuuji centric!
Naturally, Yuuji is the pearl of his pod-- the most beautiful and strongest mer there. His tail is pink and shimmery, sparkling golden in the light-- but beyond appearances, it's also very powerful. He has mating requests coming in from all the different oceans and seas.
Much to the displeasure of his nine older killer whale mer brothers.
So they set up a system-- in order to even ask to court Yuuji, you have to fight and defeat all 9 brothers, starting from the youngest (Shooso) and ending with Choso. Only 4 mers have ever beaten all 9 brothers. Inumaki Toge, Okkotsu Yuuta, Ryoumen Sukuna and Gojo Satoru.
In Inumaki and Okkotsu's cases, they genuinely wanted to court Yuuji, but ended up meeting and falling in love with one another. (Inumaki took 3 tries to defeat all 9 brothers, while Okkotsu did it in 1). They'd show off for Yuuji and push themselves harder and harder upon seeing the other, until they reached a point where it wasn't about Yuuji anymore. They weren't even thinking of him (no hard feelings though!)
Inumaki's tail is white with navy blue markings down it, his fins are very fine and large, they appear to be wavy as well
Okkotsu's is white at his hips, but quickly fades into black. There are speckles of white decorating the topmost parts, and his fins tend to have white veins running through them
In Ryoumen Sukuna's case, he called Yuuji boring, which offended the brothers and caused them to challenge him. He fought all 9 and won. Yuuji ended up fighting him afterwards, and even though he lost he continues to fight Sukuna whenever they come across each other. Sukuna (though he'll never admit it) enjoys these matches.
Sukuna's tail is a thing of legends. He's a 10-tailed octopus, a bad omen for all those that lay eyes on him. They're a dark pink to match his hair, and have black markings to match those on his upper body.
In Gojo Satoru's case, he wanted to piss the brothers off. He'd heard of their strength, and how they were undefeated across all 7 seas, and thought 'lol I could take them'. Unfortunately, he could. He doesn't do anything with his courting privileges except swim in at random times to hang out with Yuuji and piss the brothers off.
Satoru's tail is pure, blinding white, with a bright blue iridescent sheen to it. The fins are long, wide and appear to be very thin, but there isn't a single scratch or tear on any of them, a pride point for fine-finned mers
There are mers who are allowed to talk to and interact with Yuuji despite not having defeated the brothers, of course. They're a trusted minority, and their ranks include:
Ieiri Shoko
She healed Yuuji when he was sick as a guppy, and treated Shooso and Tanso's wounds from their many fights. Her tail is a murky grey, and the very tips of it are black.
Kugisaki Nobara
Their pods travelled together for a while when they were younger, and they had great fun sparring together. She's his closest friend! Her tail is a classic green (the little mermaid hehe), though she dyes it in gold around her hips and at the veins and tips of her fins-- a modern, fashionable practice
Nanami Kento
Looked after guppy Yuuji after his grandfather passed and before his brothers discovered him, and greatly disapproves of Gojo Satoru, urging him to stop visiting Yuuji. A trusted ally on all fronts. His tail is white and heavily spotted in black. There are blue tinges by his hips, and some parts of his fins are torn
Haibara Yuu
Nanami's pair, who also looked after Yuuji! An honest mer with good intentions that they fully trust. His fins are slashed right through the middle, but he still maintains an excellent swimming speed. His tail is a classic dark blue, blending into darker waters easily
Yoshino Junpei
Despite his obvious interest in Yuuji, it's clear the mer doesn't have the courage or audacity to try to propose any kind of courtship. The brothers trust his cowardliness (they're very dramatic and rude). He's a glowing blue jellyfish mer, though some of his stingers are perpetually bright yellow with electricity
And now for the list of beaten mers, and who they were beaten by:
Mei Mei - Choso
Kamo Noritoshi jr - Shoso (5th eldest)
Todo Aoi - Choso (brutal fight)
Zenin Mai (forced by her clan to fight) - Shooso (2nd youngest)
Zenin Naoya - Eso
Juzo (curse user who wanted to make Gojo into a coat rack) - Sanso (7th eldest)
Haruta (made creepy comments, had to use all 6 miracles in his first fight, tried to run after. didn't work.) - Tanso (3rd youngest)
Toshihisa (one of the curse users who fought Kusakabe) - Tanso
Manami - Kotsu (6th eldest)
a LOT of unnamed mers, usually beaten by the youngest 4. Rarely does anyone ever get up to the eldest 4.
Some mers request to fight Choso straight from the beginning, and he'll honour that request if all his brothers consent to it, but he absolutely DETESTS those that do ask -- he feels that they're disrespecting his younger brothers by not fighting them, or that they don't think Yuuji is worth all the effort of fighting 9 brothers.
Tsukumo Yuki once challenged all the brothers at once, including Yuuji, to offer courtship to Choso. She won.
Now she trains with Yuuji so that if a potential suitor defeats all his brothers, they'll have the hardest time fighting him as well.
Her tail is black with an iridescent sheen of gold, and the tips of her scales are brown. It makes for an eye-catching look!

Megumi doesn't have the courage to tell Yuuji what happened to the rabbits that he loves during Shibuya. He won't be able to handle the tears. Yuuji never knows. He can never know. Even if the 'main' Shadow was unharmed and he can still utilize them perfectly fine... he knows Yuuji won't think about it that way. He'll just torture himself thinking about the bunnies that were 'killed'. So no one tells him. Or Megumi will hurt them.

If you don't mind me asking, can I ask your top 5 (or top 3) favorite characters from JJK? And why you loved them? And your top 5 favorite moments from the series? Sorry if you've answered this question before....Thanks....
I don't mind you asking at all!! Actually I'm very glad you asked! :) I love talking about jjk and I think I've annoyed everyone I talk to irl far too much about it at this point!
Oh and please put your top 5 favourite characters and scenes in the replies!! (That goes for anyone reading this as well-- I'm curious to see what everyone's is!)
MANGA SPOILERS (UP TO 255) BENEATH THE CUT!! (ALSO IT'S LONG AS HELL UNDER THERE!)
My favourite characters (you can all probably guess but I'm going to list them anyway!!)
Choso
Chances are, if a character is an eldest brother and has dark hair and eyes, he'll be my favourite! Dick Grayson, Uchiha Itachi, Portgas D Ace, Iida Tensei (favourite male chara based on vibe alone haha), Kamado Tanjirou, Mori ohshc (it's old ik ik but I was in love w him!).
But beyond that, I just adore Choso. His devotion to his brothers, his awesome use of blood manip, how intense he is and how tired he looks-- he's awesome!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Yuuji
Again completely unsurprising! I also tend to go for upbeat, spunky and happy characters as my favourites. He goes through so much, but still manages to maintain an iron resolve and hold onto others, and to create and protect special bonds with others. I truly admire this about his character-- and I hope he gets the happiness he deserves. If not, I'm always willing to write it for him hehe.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Maki
Maki is so cool to me, I enjoyed the chapter with her and that sumo guy so so much-- imo he was her first real mentor! (Sorry Gojo!) I love how relentlessly strong she is, how tough she's had to become and how, no matter what was happening, she held onto her own resolve. Everything she did being for Mai absolutely stole my heart.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Nobara
Nobara saying she "only has so many chairs for people in [her] life", vs seeing just how many chairs were there, waiting for her to find special people to fill them absolutely broke me when I saw it animated. I was legit crying. I love how assertive and aggressive she is, and how she's still a very sentimental and protective person. Her admiring Maki was so cute, I could never let those scenes go!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Sukuna
I have to give it to him, he's a great villain. I was skeptical about this at first-- I love Nanamin and Gojo and Miguel and Yuki and so many others so much! -- but looking through the screenshots of the manga I have, 70% of it is Sukuna. He's very attractive, so relentlessly evil and just so strong, too.

Now for my favourite scenes!! Sorry if this is way too much to read!
Red Scale
The entire episode. I've rewatched it so many times and screamed at all the same parts. I love the fighting, the animation, blood manipulation coming in clutch, the memories that don't exist-- everything! It's just such a fun episode to watch! And on top of that they're my two faves, of course I love it!!

2. Higuruma Hiromi saying "let's have a retrial"
Listen-- I don't know why, but something about that panel is SO attractive to me. I was screaming at his later scenes (I wanted Sukuna's head on a pike and his ass on the executioner's blade), but that early shot of him just refuses to leave my mind.

3. Maki sumoing with Miyo
IMO he was her first proper mentor, and I love the growth that we see in her, and the insight into her mental state since losing Mai. My heart broke for her in that scene, so getting to see something more personal of her, how she struggled with everything that had happened to her and all her responsibilities, and how she was able to overcome it by focusing on the present, on what she could and could not see-- rather than everything she had to do.

4. Yuuji, Nobara and Megumi going crazy at the end of s1
I will never get Megumi's crazy smile and laughter out of my head-- he let LOOSE!
Nobara's "game of chicken" had me giggling like mad, yelling at the screen, cheering, everything!
Yuuji and Nobara's black flashes cemented this scene pack for me-- I just love it! Their powerups, their growth in this short period and their teamwork! I love to see it hehe.

5. Todo's locket opening to reveal Yuuji and Takada-chan
Todo is so genuinely special to me. I have never seen a more delusional character, and I don't think I ever will. I've loved him since he asked Megumi what his type of woman is, and every time he's on screen I can't help but laugh. This scene in particular made me cry with laughter-- the whole episode I was clapping and cheering, mimicking his poses, texting incomprehensible messages to my friends. Todo is everything man.

To the first comment, saying "I don't think it's racist" is exactly the problem. What Gojo said is racist, unintentional, but racist. I'm Black, so I would find it offensive. You don't think it's racist because you probably never had to experience being on that end before. Thinking just because you're Black, you obviously have the build to do anything athletic. In the translation, Gojo says "frightening".
Tumblr media
That is offensive. For years and still are, Black people are seen as "frightening". "Aggressive" and "unapproachable".
"These guys..." They're in Africa, and he's talking about Miguel's technique here. When he used that phrase, he meant African/Black people.
Like, that first comment, harmless or not, is unmindful. You're just watering down and brushing off what I, a Black person, had said and how I feel.
What part don't you get that you shouldn't do this?
The second comment. And? So? Do you hate Gojo now? Do you like him a little less?
I'm a fan of Gojo and this chapter didn't change that for me.
Gojo has fans, but he already had a lot of haters. This chapter ain't changing none of that. For every JJK video I watch glazing Gojo, there's gonna be one hating on him. Nothing Gege will do will stop people from liking him or even hating him. You're just drawing the attention away from the initial message of my post. It's crazy because Gege is also the same person that gave Gojo a lot of the traits some of you dick ride Gojo for.
Obviously, you're just salty. Stop, just stop.
If Gege really is doing anything to make people not like him, then he wouldn't give him good qualities. He wouldn't give him a compassionate side or give him character development. Stop being stuck on "Gege hates Gojo". And? So? Gege isn't allowed to do that? Damn, why nobody told me that?
Like, jeez, again I like Gojo, too. But I don't think everyone should be obligated to like him.
Honestly, a Black person say anything and immediately her opinion on the situation doesn't even fucking matter. Oh, you can feel a certain way but I can't? Blocked, you're both BLOCKED.
