He's everything to me.” #Part two of the fun part of this dynamic is that LWJ is ever so lightly self aware enough to LOATHE THIS CRUSH. #Hence why I have been marinating on this 'Accidental Lan headband miscommunication' concept. #This is how LWJ assumes that WWX knows what the band means in this AU. BUT IM JUST THINKING ABOUT IN THE MOMENT OF IT ALL bc in the same chapter #ww asks for a chance for tomorrow and then gets news of earth ships coming. in this same arc vash is thinking of all the things he needs to #resolve so his home doesn't get attacked so the people he love doesn't have to die and the humans he wants to protect gets to live. #i feel like deep down they both semi-recognize that it can't be this easy and regardless of earth ships coming- there's still a wait for #them to arrive and they have to hold out. and regardless ww still has a mission to follow through and vash knows knives would find out #but in that mood of celebration the entire ship brought in - they can at least let themselves relax for a moment and indulge #how they basically engaged with no violence for the few days they were on that ship coaxing them into domesticity... i feel like their #thoughts would wander to somewhere soft and all #allowing them to push aside the tiptoeing and tenseness and be sweet for a night #ruporas art

Now Jason was planning on, well, a lot of things, when he came back to Gotham. He had a lot of plans, several of which had to do with the old man and even more that had to do with cleaning up Crime Alley, making it safer and all that. 

What he was not planning on was to find some sort of lab in the basement of where he was planning on setting up a safehouse. Nor was he planning on finding several literal children in cages inside said lab. Oh and Lazarus Waters- but children! With muzzles! Being experimented on!

Now he’d like to say he had a plan in what happened next, but if he’s honest everything had gone Green and he didn’t remember what happened next, only that he’s back home with said children and covered in blood. Oh and everything smells of smoke. 

… And apparently there’s more of these things dotted around Crime Alley with the rest of these kids, er, siblings? Family? Fright does mean family? Okay kids, he’s not turning into Bruce but you can stay here while he deals with this… however long that takes.

#cherry magic #my translation #finally. after months i got to read this at last !!!!!!! i can be at peace now #also gonna do a little t/n in the tags bc i wanna clarify one little bit #the term '苦手' comes up a bunch here and it can mean either 'not being good at smth' or 'disliking/hating smth' #and from my understanding when used for people it can mean either 'not knowing how to get along with someone' or 'disliking/hating someone' #so on page 1 kurosawa uses 苦手 to say that the other guy doesnt like him #and on page 4 adachi uses 苦手 too which kurosawa misinterprets bc he doesnt have all the context #bc adachi means that he doesnt really know how to interact with guys like kurosawa but kurosawa hears it as 'i dont like his type of ppl' #(which gets cleared up later anyway thank god . tho it did give us a funnie panel) #i couldnt find any word in english that worked with the same sort of double meaning as 苦手 so i tried phrasing it in a way- #-that would have that same sort of 'this can be easily misinterpreted' vibe . dunno if it worked but i tried kjfkds
