*slams my head on the sink* 100 questions for aidlyn.

I'm dead serious btw. This is long

1. Who fell first? Who fell harder?

Aiden fell first and Ash fell harder. But they are both horrendously down bad for each other 🫠

2. Who is the one who fusses the most? Does their partner mind very much?

They're both kinda fussy in different ways, but Aiden is the one getting hurt more often so Ash is fussing the most. Not that Aiden minds he eats that shit up.

3. What is their love language?

I think I mentioned Ash's is quality time and for Aiden it's physical touch :>

4. Has either ever gotten a hickey off the other? What was their reaction?

I've gotten a hickey from somebody biting me (IN A PLAYFUL WAY get your minds outta the gutter 🤡) so I feel like Ash would get one in the same way?? Like. Aiden just bit her cheek or smth. Cuz he's bitey. And it left a mark. She was really pissed about it 😭 like "Ow wtf man-!"

5. What is something they like to do together?

Oh, they're not picky...Aiden likes doing everything with Ash so he lets her pick. Ash likes doing something calm because she likes seeing him more low energy and relaxed like binging a show or doing a puzzle. If he leans on her she's done. She gone fr.

6. Who would ask the "would you love me if I were a worm?" question? How would the other answer?

Aiden would but just for fun and to not repeat myself lets imagine Ash asking 🤡 lowkey would be embarrassed and ask in the tiniest voice ever. Aiden ofc think this is adorable and tells her in great detail how he would get her a huge terrarium with the finest dirt and lots of food and Ash is just staring at him wondering why he put so much thought into it.

7. Who likes forehead kisses? Who likes hand kisses? Who likes neck kisses?

Forehead: Both :) Aiden likes her reaction and Ash kinda implodes whenever Aiden pushes her bangs back to give her a lil forehead smooch

Hands: Ashlyn, somehow it's easier than kissing him on the face or mouth but still conveys the intimacy she feels

Neck: probably Aiden, but it tickles Ash way too much for them to do it properly. He surprised kissed her nape once and she freaked out, so she threw her head back and broke his nose 🤡

8. Who is the big spoon? Little spoon?

Neither I STAND BY THIS. They sleep facing each other let me have this.

9. If there wasnt enough seats, how would they sit? One on the other's lap? One on the armrest? One on the floor in front of them?

Aiden steals the seat, makes a joke about how Ash can sit on his lap, Ash says she would literally rather sit on the floor, Aiden gives up the seat all pouty, then his restless ass spends the rest of the time finding a comfy spot before sitting on the armrest.

10. Who plays with whose hair?

Aiden 1000000% because he's obsessed with it. In the beginning Ash would pinch him whenever he did it, but after he started braiding her hair it didn't bother her as much. Likes fiddling with the tips or whipping the braid around like some weird ass stim toy lol 🤡

11. Who is clingy?

I think they both are in different ways...Aiden more tho, and he's more obvious about it 💀

12. What is something the other does that makes them flustered?

They're both idiots so they get flustered whenever they're soft with each other 🫠 for Ash, the aforementioned forehead kiss + Aiden praising her, and for Aiden it's whenever Ash touches his face really softly or initiates snuggling.

13. What is something they find attractive about each other?

Guessing this means physically?

Aiden: Her freckles. Or her hair. Or her eyes. Don't make him pick 🤡

Ashlyn: she's hard pressed to admit it but she does like his face- also likes his hands and looking at the scars.

14. What is something they argue about constantly? Is it a deep-seated issue or something small?

Aiden isn't big on fighting in gen, he doesn't have the motivation for it. Ash usually just scolds him for his piss poor self preservation skills and he'll sulk about it. Not above picking a fight about smth stupid if it gets her attention tho

15. How do they comfort one another when the other is upset?

Depends what is bothering them. Aiden usually goes for a hug if she allows it and tries to talk to her. Aiden usually prefers being alone if he feels like he's gonna get upset so it's a little hard for Ashlyn to help him, but normally tries to reassure him that she's not leaving, or holds his hands or face to help ground him. She's a very logical person so she tries to think of ways to solve a person's problem if they're upset, but most of aidens problems are internal/emotional.

16. Who is the better caretaker? Does their partner like being taken care of?

Aiden is better with physical injuries because...he's had them all before multiple times and he knows what to do haha. Ash appreciates the help but I wouldn't say she enjoys it. Ash is better with illnesses, which is great because Aiden acts like he's literally dying whenever he gets a cold (forcing him to spend all day In bed?? Just give him a death sentence while you're at it), so yeah he's a little baby that likes being taken care of.

17. Who steals whose clothes? Does their partner mind?

Most of Ash's clothes don't really fit Aiden...Ash steals his jackets/hoodies on accident because Aiden will give them to her (she gets cold easy) and she forgets to give them back (she's also a little weird about it and sleeps with them). He lowkey gets kinda smug when he sees her wearing them lol

18. They've had a major blowout. How do they handle it?

Like...the care tire blew out? Ash would probably change it (her parents taught her) and while she's at it she'd show Aiden how to do it too (he's never learned)

19. How good are they are communication?

.... C+ Probably rely on the gang a little too much to solve their issues. They're working on it, alr?

20. Who handles the spiders? Who screams directions in the background?

Neither of them are afraid of bugs BUT Ash does not like insects partly because she doesn't know how they'll react to smth. Logically tho she knows spiders are useful so she asks Aiden to get a cup and throw them outside.

21. Who typically tends to initiate intimacy first (this can be a conversation, action or anything)?

Depends on the kind, Aiden definitely seeks out Ash's attention more often (like asking her if she wanted to do the puzzle), but he's a little nervous about physical affection, so in the beginning of the relationship that was Ash. Now that he knows it's usually okay he is more touchy, but now Ash looks for his company more often so she will start conversations.

22. What is something - either character - doesn't like about the other?

Ashlyn: above all, his own self apathy. She is...really not cool with him hurting himself all the time. She also thinks he's way too impulsive and irresponsible sometimes

Aiden: don't ask him! But sometimes he thinks she's very...cold. and it hurts his feelings.

23. Who said "I love you" first?

Aiden, they were already together so he thought he should let her know :P

24. Who kissed who first?

Ash told him she wanted to first and he initiated it (since Ash didnt know what to do)

25. Do they have any pet names for one another?

Ash doesn't really like them, she feels stupid saying them 🤡 the closest is Mr. Durable if he's being an idiot. All her "idiot, dumbass, stupid" are affectionate. Aiden has like a lot of batshit crazy weird pet names for her that Ash doesn't understand at all. Partially to annoy her.

26. Who gets jealous most often? How does the other deal with that?

Pffffff. Aiden definitely. Ash usually doesn't really notice ("he's acting weird...well, he's always weird") unless somebody points it out. She's very pragmatic about it, she just bluntly tells him he's being stupid and that she's not interested in anybody else.

27. Who tends to drive on long journeys? Who navigates?

Ash is designated driver because Aiden is an absolute maniac on the road (even tho he says he's a fine driver) and they have a GPS because Aiden gets to distracted to navigate 💀

28. Do they trust one another? Are comfortable discussing their fears with one another?

I think in canon, and even in this theoretical relationship, they're a bit away from being totally open with each other. But they do trust each other.

29. What's an insecurity they hold about their relationship?

Aiden's BPD, even after everything, will flare up and he thinks Ash will leave him, especially cuz he's so "annoying and pushy", etc etc. This kinda bleeds into Ash's issue, which is the fact that she's putting so much into this relationship and she still feels like Aiden doesn't really trust her.

30. Describe how one would cheer the other up after a hard day.

Ashlyn: she says Aiden is like a kid, because to cheer him up she just has to hold him. A long cuddle session is in order, and some kisses for good measure :> Then she'll offer to go out tomorrow to do smth fun.

Aiden: she's probably overstimulted and exhausted, so he basically preps her/their room so she can relax to the fullest and does all the chores so she won't need to do anything. Orders takeout/goes to the drive-through so she doesn't need to socialize.

31. How would they describe one another?

Ashlyn: weirdo adrenaline junkie who doesn't know when to quit...and an idiot. He's still HER idiot tho.

Aiden: his guardian angel, bless her, because he must give her a heart attack per day at least.

32. Can they communicate private thoughts whilst in company? If so, how?

Not really haha. They're both difficult people to read, and they're not exceptions to each other.

33. Which one of them gives "that look" when they other is acting like a fool?

...Come on 🤡 You guys know. You know it's Ash.

34. How do they address a problem in their relationship?

...they'll probably ignore it for a while 💀 When somebody brings it up it'll be Ash. She is genuinely very invested in the relationship so like, she doesn't want it to blow up in her face haha, so she will look on the internet for a solution (or ask Taylor)

35. How does each significant other view any exes and former relationships?

Ash doesn't have any exes which is great because Aiden would probably be jealous of that too 🫠 Aiden doesn't have any like, real proper exes either. I guess she would be a little curious about his past relationships tho, just because he doesn't talk about them.

36. What is something that would break their hearts?

For Aiden, if she couldnt take him anymore...and for Ash, it kinda breaks her heart everyday that Aiden still thinks she'd leave him behind :")

37. Who is more likely to avenge their S/O if they were hurt or killed?

More likely??? I mean lowkey Aiden but they would both try- don't underestimate Ash's anger lol

38. What would be their ideal evening in?

I feel like they would binge watch a reality TV dance competition show or smth along those lines. Order a bunch of junk food, top it off with ice cream...Ash would probably fall asleep on him at like 1am and Aiden would fall asleep a little bit later because he sleeps easier with her next to him :)

39. Do they dance? If so, who's better?

They both dance!!! Ash is, ofc, an excellent ballerina and she knows some ballroom dancing. Aiden is better at freestyle and stuff like that, but Ash is better on a technical level.

40. What is a song that reminds you of the relationship?

Aiden tries to serenade Ash all the time lmao 🤡 he's not a really good singer or anything, but he's not terrible...

Aiden teases her more, but she'll drag him if it's necessary. He definitely type of guy to say "Omg you had a crush on me?? That's so embarrassing" when they've been dating for 6 months...

43. Who gets up early? Who stays in bed late?

Aiden can't sleep, so he gets up really early. Ash actually likes sleeping so if she can she's gonna sleep in 😭

44. Who's more likely to bring the other coffee or breakfast in bed?

One of the things Aiden can do in the kitchen is use the coffee machine!!! So he will bring her coffee in bed! No breakfast because...he doesn't know how to make breakfast... and he doesn't wanna cause her trouble by burning the pan or smth stupid like that 😭

45. What's the worst thing the other can say to one?

Ash: for him to leave her alone and to not talk to her again.

Aiden: telling her to leave like everybody else does in his life (he pushes people away)

HA. They both do, no questions asked.

Mm. I think they would both do it, but Aidens morals are pretty loose when it comes to Ash lol. If you asked him to kill somebody to protect her he wouldn't feel that bad about it.

48. If they ever had less that 5 mins to tell their partner something before never seeing them again, what would they say?

Ash: To not be scared, because she wants him to know she's going to do whatever she can to find him again.

Aiden: absolute mess, telling her how much he loves her and that she made his life so much better and worth living (Aiden, buddy-)

Ashlyn: I'm serious, the forehead kiss, she literally stops functioning 😭

Aiden: When she looks him in the eyes, he knows she doesn't like that very much so he feels really special. Bonus points if she's holding his hands or cheeks.

Aww, definitely Aiden. He's so silly about it all. Doodling their initials together, daydreaming about her, getting her gifts.

Taylor and Logan lowkey.

52. Who cooks? Who does the dishes?

Ash definitely cooks, Aiden can barely make Ramen. Aiden usually does the dishes to be fair between them, but Ash needs to supervise because he's prone to leaving grease or not cleaning the utensils properly (he wants to finish quickly)

53. Who eats healthier? Who's got the sweet-tooth?

Aiden is like a human garbage disposal, he eats the worse trash food humanely possible (and somehow is still not sick); his diet is basically fast food joints, convenience store snacks, and soda 💀 So Ash eats healthier... BUT Ash is the one with a sweet tooth. She really likes stuff like cookies, cakes, and chocolate. Aiden prefers salty and savory snacks (tho he does like candy, ex. gummy worms or lollipops, stuff like that)

54. What's something that they don't really care for but tolerate because the other has an interest?

Ashlyn: Video games. In general she finds them kinda stressful and loud, but she watches him play for fun (especially horror games)

Aiden: ballet shows. He ADORES watching her dance but like if she's not on stage he's not gonna be into it...

55. Who spoils who? Does their partner tolerate it? Do they secretly enjoy it?

Aiden absolutely spoils Ash, he has cash to burn, so why not on things she wants? :) lowkey Ash finds this a little weird, especially if he gets something really expensive (like this espresso machine he got her one Christmas) but she doesn't really have the heart to complain besides a "You don't need to spend so much on me..."

56. Who tends to be the level-headed one? Who is feral?

Ha 💀 Ash genuinely does her best to be level-headed...but deep down they're both feral.

57. Who reminds the other to wear a coat when it's cold out?

Ash. Aiden is one of those guys who goes out into snow In like jeans and a t-shirt to buy ice cream, so she crams him into a jacket...he lets her, cuz she zips it up for him and he gets a little goofy over that.

..yeah :)

59. Is there a spot they tend to kiss or caress habitually?

Aiden brushes her hair back, so he touches the area around her temple/back of her ear a lot. Also kisses the palm of her hand whenever she holds his face. Ash kisses his cheek a lot, near the corner of his mouth.

Well, Aiden doesn't really have a problem with it, but Ash is a little reluctant because it tends to draw unnecessary attention to herself and she does not like. Being perceived.

Ashlyn: "...interesting" (on a generous day, otherwise shes gonna say idiot 🤡)

Aiden: "incredible!!!"

62. How would outside characters describe their relationship?

Tyler calls it "barely functioning" which annoys Aiden to no end. Taylor thinks it's sweet how dedicated Aiden is to Ash...even though she's a little worried about him. In general everybody is kinda...pleasantly surprised the relationship hasn't exploded yet.

63. How would they describe one another while sleeping in the same bed?

Aiden normally kicks while sleeping so the first time Ash woke up with her shins really sore and bruised 🤡👍🏽 She's also not a fan of him snoring lmao. Aiden thinks she's a blanket hogger but, well, he won't complain about that. She also tends to curl up into a ball which he finds cute.

64. Would they ever answer the above question if it was asked to their face? How would they react?

Maybe when they were older and already living together, otherwise she needs to explain why they fell asleep on the same bed at the same time...lol

She'd be a little embarrassed that he finds her cute when she's sleeping haha. Aiden on the other hand would feel terrible about the kicking thing, AND the snoring (since she doesn't sleep with her earbuds in) 😭

Well, for kissing, Aiden tends to initiate it more, because he has a better idea of what you're supposed to do. But Ash sets the pace, if she doesn't want to do smth or stop, she tells him.

I dont think a peck is embarrassing...I guess this is like an open mouth kiss, but if they were doing that, I feel like they would only do it at Aidens house whenever it was empty because Ash is kind of paranoid about that stuff. If she got caught she would like. Die. Girl would be redder than her hair 🤡 Aiden would be a lil bit flustered depending on who caught them, but mostly annoyed at being interrupted.

Aiden is just a loud person in general. He sighs a lot (he's lovesick fr), and sometimes he starts mumbling about how pretty she is and how in love he is with her.

They're both pretty bad kissers lol 🫠 Aiden loses his breath very quickly and Ash is super stiff.

69. If they were to go shopping, who holds the bags? Who decides where they go?

Ash doesn't really like shopping...? Lowkey stressful and she doesn't like getting new things. Aiden goes shopping because he has the money for it (he likes buying clothes) but he wouldn't make Ash carry his own bags lol

Aiden. Ash usually tries to pay for herself but Aiden is pretty insistent about it, and he's SO rich that she has a hard time feeling bad about it.

Ashlyn: would snap back with something equally rude, but she's not super worried about Aiden, he has a thick skin and she knows that.

Aiden: will kill them with his bare hands. If Ash lets him.

Ashlyn: probably surprised, she forgets not everybody knows about his massive baggage lmao. Teeniest tiniest bit jealous...

Aiden: absolutely the type of guy to swoop in, put his arm around her, and call her babe in front of the person. Will probably pull her away from the situation and then death glare at the person from over his shoulder :>

Ash absolutely 💀 (it's with his own money too). She definitely gets on his ass for getting arrested over smth stupid like vandalism or "being a public disturbance" (and when he's older for stuff like driving under the influence or smth)

Hhhhhh there's definitely a timeline where Aiden kills a person for Ash and I don't think she would ever really get over that, even if she still stayed with him. For Aiden...is hard, because it would be stuff that's not in character for her...maybe if he wasn't getting better and she left him. He would feel betrayed that she "abandoned" him when he was at his weakest. But even then...idk if she apologize for it I think maybe he would take her back...idk idk, they're complicated 🤣

Technically its their parents but they would call each other right away, and when they're older Aiden would definitely change it to Ash. Doesn't help that they tend to get into accidents together tho 😭

Ashlyn lowkey, she gets irritated when she feels like she's not being understood or smth isn't going to plan. Most of the time Aiden will try and talk to her, which has a 50/50 chance of working lol

LMAO yeah 😭 they HAVE lost each other and they both blame themselves hard for it, it makes Aiden even clingier and more overprotective than he normally would be, and Ash is hard on herself because she feels like she can't protect him when it's her job.

85. Their partner is tipsy. How do they handle it?

Ash: semi-regular thing she deals with as an adult. He is usually a reckless drunk person so she tends to redirect his attention towards herself (so he will shift into flirty drunk mode lol) and hopes he'll fall asleep soon :p

Aiden: he'd get upset because Ash would never willingly drink enough to get tipsy- lowkey his first thought is that somebody drugged her 🤡 (Ash probably just didn't notice her own limits) she's a pretty quiet drunk tho so she won't cause him too much trouble. She's also more affectionate which he guiltily enjoys

86. Who gives the best gifts? Who gives the more thoughtful? Who goes for expensive?

Okay, so...like...it's not like Aiden goes for expensive gifts just cuz they're expensive, it's just like. Sometimes he just so happens to get something that is expensive for her! And he knows her pretty well, so he knows what she likes. Ash is always kinda nervous about gift shopping because she feels a little...apprehensive about buying people stuff...but she's not bad at it, it just takes her a while.

87. If they ever lost one another in a public place, how do they find the other?

Ashlyn: She just calls him on her phone lol, if she doesn't have it on her she will just walk around looking for him because...he's kind of hard to miss-

Aiden: Definitely starts yelling her name really loudly and bothering all the other people in the area asking if theyve seen her💀

88. What's the darkest secret they have ever told one another?

I feel like for Aiden it would be telling her about his past and stuff :p Ash doesn't exactly have a dark past or anything, I think at that point it would just be saying some dark thoughts she's had.

They don't really have strong feelings about it, Ash just asked him for the tax benefits.

90. Would they ever consider starting a family?

...I think Aiden is more into that idea than Ash is.

91. Who likes kids more? Who can't stand them?

Man okay neither of them dislike kids- Ash is just awkward around them and doesnt know how to take care of them 😭 Aiden has a lot of fun playing with kids but he's not exactly a responsible babysitter either lol.

Ashlyn: ...??? Lmao she's not gonna do anything, maybe try and jump over if they really can't go around it 😭

Aiden: he's gonna jump in the puddle. It's for his enrichment. If Ash doesn't wanna get wet tho, he'll probably try and pick her up and put her on the other side lol

93. One has hurt their leg on a hike. How does their partner carry them?

Aiden is stubborn about that stuff and he's hurt his leg A LOT so he's only gonna lean on her for support. If Ash hurt her leg he'd carry her on his back.

94. Their pet has caused destruction. Who puts the pet in jail? Who defends the pet?

Ash is the disciplinarian, she's putting the dog in pet jail 😭 Aiden is probably going with the dog, he definitely contributed to the disaster...

95. Who gives flowers to their partner? What sort of flowers do they like?

Idk I feel like they're not big on flowers. Ash doesn't want smth that's gonna die in a few weeks- I feel like the only time they'd give each other flowers is if they were chilling in a meadow or smth. I think Aiden puts daisies in her braids.

96. Who reads the newspaper? Who wants to see the cartoons?

Aiden isn't big on reading- Not that Ash is either, but she'll skim the paper and give Aiden the funny strips.

97. How do they wake their partner up? Is it difficult to rouse them?

Aiden is a very light sleeper, so she just needs to call for him or touch him to wake him up. Ash is like....mid level, so Aiden will do annoying stuff to wake her up, like touching her foot with his (it's cold as balls), or tickling her nose with her blanket. 20% he'll start singing too.

It's easy to say Aiden, but I think they both would :>

i can't stop thinking about lil teenage tommy hagan and steve harrington doing things that are definitely a bit fruity while they're in the figuring yourself out stages of life. so maybe steve grows up not thinking it's weird at all to want to cuddle or even occasionally kiss boys, or hold their hands, or lean his head on their shoulder while they watch movies. that's just typical friend behavior, he's been doing that with tommy since they were kids and it was never weird.

until it wasn't tommy, it was one of steve's other friends, and they definitely thought it was weird when he instinctively went to snuggle up to them on the couch or whatever. they definitely got very obviously uncomfortable, might have even accused him of being gay or said some vile things to him. so, okay, he gets it in his head that it's not normal, maybe even that it's wrong and bad.

so, he stops being physically affectionate with tommy. he pulls his hand away when tommy reaches for it, shrugs off tommy's arm. pretends not to notice the kinda hurt look he gets in return. when he wakes up after they passed out on the couch during whatever movie it was that week, his head resting comfortably on tommy's chest and the familiar thump of his heartbeat right under his ear, he feels guilty because this isn't supposed to be something guys do but he likes it. but that's wrong, that's what his other friend said, it's bad.

so, he pulls away further. doesn't stop being friends with tommy, but he keeps him at an arms length at best. and tommy gets a girlfriend, and steve is relieved... right? he should be relieved. that's normal, they're guys. they get girlfriends. but tommy's been kind of a dick to him lately, and seeing him with his arm over carol's shoulder, or kissing the top of her head, or her kissing his freckle-covered cheeks, it makes something in his stomach twist. he used to do those things. he wants to do those things still. but those aren't things guys are supposed to do. they're wrong.

they go on double dates sometimes and it's fun. it is! steve doesn't think about the fact that tommy and carol are making out in the movie theater, because he's too busy making out with jennifer, or heather, or christy.

things with tommy are getting weird. he's not being mean to steve, just...vaguely rude all the time. until he starts lashing out, and steve's just confused. doesn't say anything, figures it's probably not his fault, just tommy's own shit. him and carol haven't been doing great.

tommy and carol are on a break, have been off and on for the past year or so. steve doesn't know what fight it was this time. he doesn't really care, past the fact that tommy's upset. they're at steve's house, and they're alone, so they're drinking. to get tommy's mind off of it. steve doesn't know how many beers they've had between them but they're sitting at the edge of the pool, their feet in the water and tommy's leaning on him. he's damn near in steve's lap. would be, if he just moved his leg a little bit. steve doesn't think too hard about why he wants him to. doesn't have time to think about it.

because tommy sets his beer down behind him, tosses it more like, it spills all over the concrete. his hand is on steve's cheek, turns his head, and steve doesn't even try to think. he knows this, it's familiar, it's good. steve's kissed a lot of girls, none of them kiss like tommy. not like they mean it. tommy gets his other hand in steve's hair and steve's arms wrap around his waist, this is normal. tommy is in his lap now, and steve missed that. doesn't get to savor it for long, because tommy pushes him down to his back. tommy's spilled beer soaks through the fabric of his shirt, he doesn't care. this is right.

up until it stops. steve lifts his head off the concrete, tries to chase after tommy's lips, but when something drips onto his cheek, he opens his eyes. tommy is crying, is glancing back and forth between steve's eyes like he's looking for something. he doesn't seem to find it, asks, "why?" steve doesn't know what he means.

when they wake up in the morning, tommy in steve's bed and steve on the floor, he wants to ask. he's got one hell of a hangover but he can't stop replaying that kiss in his mind. he waits to see if tommy says anything. he might not even remember, he was drunker than steve. drunk enough to do things he didn't mean to do, didn't want to do, steve thinks. he wants tommy to have wanted it, though, because something clicked for steve last night.

tommy doesn't mention it. doesn't act like anything happened at all. he's not back to his regular self, but he's back to being the bitchy tommy that steve has known for the past few years, so steve assumes he's right. tommy was blacked out, didn't mean for it to happen. he tries to ignore how his heart aches when tommy steps out the door to go home wearing a change of clothes he'd borrowed from steve.

tommy and carol stay together after that. when they hang out, it's always the three of them, sometimes plus whoever steve is dating that week. steve doesn't get his shirt back, but him and tommy aren't talking nearly as much as they used to, and it's not like he even really wants it back. he kind of hopes tommy will just...wear it one day. like some kind of signal or something. he'll show up to their double date wearing steve's shirt under his jacket and give him one of those looks that says more than words can. says more than steve thinks he's capable of saying in words.

he doesn't. nothing happens at all, until nancy wheeler happens. things are different with nancy. steve wouldn't say they feel right, nothing's ever felt right with any of the girls he's dated, it's still nice. but sometimes out of the corner of his eye he thinks he catches this little look, a little spark of jealousy, but when he meets tommy's eyes directly, it's gone. he must be imagining it.

then jonathan byers happens, and steve says some shit he'd never in a million years actually mean. he's not imagining it then, the way tommy reacts to his words. it's nothing steve's never heard tommy say himself. projecting, he later learns is the term for it.

then it's after jonathan byers happens, and tommy has steve backed up against the door of his car, fists in his shirt, their faces close. it's not like the last time, not like any of the other times they've been this close, but steve can't help it. his eyes fall to tommy's lips, wishes he'd just close the distance. it feels kind of like it's their last chance. he knows tommy won't, and he knows he doesn't have the guts to do it himself. even if he did, carol is right there, they're in public. it's game over for them either way.

a hinge/tinder date with ellie starts awkwardly. the realization that you, as wlw, have both succumbed to the dating network app craze is a hard, but inevitable pill that you both swallow. it's one that you get over once elllie meets you in the cafe, stumbling in, all haste and made of apologies. the red line ran late and because the red line was late, her transfer over to the orange line was also a bit delayed and then there was this guy who was being a dick and she had to yell at him a little and it took up so much time and she misread which coffee shop so she had to walk from point a to point b super fast and she is so, so so sorry, but honestly? you're kind of wrapped up in the fact that .. she's even cuter than her pictures. you can tell by how they're fading that her freckles have chosen to bloom a little bit differently this past summer, and that her hair is a little bit shorter. it's usually in a bun, or a half-bun, at least from what you've assumed from her pictures. but this time it's completely down. and she's got this brown corduroy jacket on, and blundstones, and loose jeans that have a carabiner attached to one of the loops (which really didn't make sense to you, in retrospect -- she took the train, why does she have her car keys? gay signaling, you suppose) and she's honestly a little bit shorter than you'd imagined, but like... she's so fucking cute. so you're like, it's okay. i was kinda late too. as in, i got here 5 minutes ago. and you give each other a smile because you can't really be mad at each other, and once you stand, she asks you if you've ever been to the cafe before.

she pays for your coffee, and takes you on the best goddamned tour of boston that you think you've ever been on. you base this not off of the amount of places that you go to, but purely just based off of vibes. you spend too much money in chinatown because the food is so good and so outrageously inexpensive. you sunbathe, bond, and pet dogs in the boston common. you get hot cider, and take a walk along the charles river, and chat shit for ages. you learn that she doesn't really know where home is, but her dad who isn't really her dad lives in wyoming with her uncle who isn't really her uncle. you learn that she's the first in her family to go to college, and originally, she chose BU, but switched over to MIT because the physics program is better. you're like, well what do you wanna do? and she's like, honestly? i have no fucking idea. but she tells you about how when she was little, she wanted to be astronaut and if the stars align and she gets her internship at NASA this summer, maybe she'll see it through. you make jokes about lesbians in space, and almost burn your tongues. the chill in the air tells you that it's probably time to get away from the water, so you get up and start walking again.

by this point, she's content with handing off her jacket to you and easily waltzes around in the black t-shirt she's wearing with some logo in the upper right corner and a design on the back. the hair has inevitably gone up in a bun. and by this point, you've kind of walked around the same circle, over and over and over again. so randomly you're like, it's such a flex, being able to go to mit or harvard. and she's like, well you could technically go there. and all the sudden you're giving each other looks and then all the sudden you're dipping into the nearest mbta station and she's bought your train ticket and now you're hopping from the orange line, to the red line (which is surprisingly up and running, thank fucking god)

ellie's actual dorm is a single, and therefore a shoebox. but the building, and mit's campus, is huge. you walk around a little just for vibes and she shows you where she cried over her midterm last week and where she did homework literally less than 48 hours ago. but the second the sun dips, you're back in her room, and the lighting is low. you talk music, and she plays you a couple of songs off of her mac -- some that she puts you onto, some that are so familiar to the two of you that you both wind up singing it to each other. you talk, and talk, and talk, and eventually you're like, you play guitar? and then she's playing you guitar when you sit across from her on her bed, and then suddenly, she's playing you your favorite song. and she's singing it in a tone that's a lot gentler. a lot shyer. and this is like, the moment where 12 year old you is looking at you now-age you and is like, this is your coming of age romance moment. this is it. and suddenly, it becomes so still. and suddenly ellie's complimenting the color of your eyes. and suddenly, you're close enough to realize that ellie's eyes are actually like 4 different colors. and suddenly, you can feel the heat of each other's faces, and suddenly you can feel the small bit of damage that the cold has done to her lips against your own, and suddenly you're reaching for each other's faces and she's got to move her guitar off her lap--

when you wake up the next morning, it's kind of a blur. ellie isn't there, but she didn't wake you. she instead left you a note. something about how she has a 9am. something about how she'd love to do this again sometime. something about texting her when you get home. there's a bagel and a green juice from her campus cafe with your name on it, and she doesn't necessarily imply that you have to return the shirt that you slept in.

your friends have your location and they notice you've been in one sector of town for far too long. on your way out of her dorm, you check your text messages. the main one that pestered you into actually going forward with the date asks you, so, how was it?

and you smile you sip your green juice, and text her back with one hand saying, it was good. but then you pause, hit the backspace key a few times and correct your phrase to, it was great.

I did some touch-ups and edits to the first RVB face designs I ever made, so here are the up-dated versions!

Some I only adjusted a tiny bit, but a few got altered considerably (mostly because I've gotten more familiar with how I imagine the characters, so what I want them to look like here matches better). The first set of each are the characters in their signature armor colors, and the second set is them with the unique colors for hair/skin/etc. I wanted a variety of shapes for chins/noses/eyes, different kinds of hair, and little indications regarding scars/freckles and what-not. You can also see their glasses, a few earrings here and there, Simmons' cyborg prosthetics matching Grif's skin grafts, a hearing aid for Donut, Wash's magnificent beard, and Carolina's eye shadow that she just NEEDS to have. First rule of designing RVB faces; Tucker is the prettiest~

For Tex and Church in particular, they're in synthetic human bodies that were created with DNA samples of Allison and the Director (not identical clones, mind you). They looks similar, but more like they could be siblings or cousins. Ironically, Tex and Carolina look more alike than Carolina did with her mother. Church is considerably shorter and more chunky (he debated on keeping the face-fuzz, but eventually decided if he tried to hard to AVOID resembling the Director, that would still mean basing all his decisions around the guy. Church likes having facial hair, and it kinda suits his squared jaw, so it stays)

In my rewrite/AU/whatever Eve ran away to the mortal realm after one too many put downs from the angels. She changes her name to "Evelyn Lambert" and takes up work in carpentry and repairs.

Avaline calls the business to fix a leaky faucet, Eve is sent and while working she notices that Flora bears a striking resemblance to her. She doesn't think much of it, later on Avaline goes to the shop to pick up an order, the two have small talk and find they have something in common.

Later on Eve discovers Ava and Evan are her great grandbabies, and strikes a reluctant agreement with Charlie and Lucifer to help train them.

Adam sees a chance to woo her back but she makes it clear she isn't up for his suave anymore...even if she hates to admit he still leaves her weak in the knees.

Red hair referencing clay/the red apple, and it's the color or love and passion

Her work outfit varies but she tends to wear comfy t shirts and overalls. Sometimes she likes to embroider with funky patterns

While passive and meek in the past, her time on earth made her more assertive

The dokis + Emari (DDLH)

I had to make it widescreen to fit them all on. For a fangame thing. No idea when I'll actually use these sprites though as they don't appear on the start screen.

The poses were based on the original sprites and I kinda regret doing that as the skirts were a pain to look right (especially Sayori's)...and Monika's left hand. I changed the shoe colours to match their colours, Sayori's top 3 shirt buttons are undone, the bow is tied unevenly, she has a penguin pin on her blazer (hard to tell in this drawing though), her left sock is falling down and her skirt is to her knees; Yuri's blazer is longer, tucked in and the top button is undone (hard to see with that pose though), her socks are shorter or pushed down I can't really tell and her skirt also goes to her knees; Natsuki's blazer doesn't have any sleeves (they're all wearing blazers different ways), with pins and her shirt has shorter sleeves and her socks have polka dots and there is a reason for that but spoilers; Monika basically looks the same but with freckles and wavier hair; Emari's an OC but I followed the formula of: have hair accessory and black socks are reserved for sentient characters only. Also the colours are either brighter or darker than the original it depends on the thing. The glitched ones are holding an item that represents them: Yuri has a butterfly knife, Natsuki has her phone to represent the people who screw her over, and Sayori...well it's self explanatory. Basically Monika's the only one who looks just like her official sprite but with a stiffer pose as posing is hard to draw. Yuri and Monika are a good few inches taller than their canon height; Natsuki is like a foot shorter than Yuri now.

AHGHHH LULU YOUR GONNA MAKE ME TALK ABOUT LULU. I am gonna be honest i am not a huge fan of lulu so this might not be what you are looking for. These specific questions are hard to make flattering answers to but i will try to do her as much justice as i can

My first impression of them

2. When I think I truly started to like them (or dislike them, if you’ve sent me a character I don’t like)

So i tried to like lulu i really did. I do like her design i think her freckles and big ol eyebrows are really cute and distinctive. I think the trailer shes introduced in tries its darnedest to make us connect with her by making her participate in a montage of all the other warioware characters we already love but she just doesnt do it for me. I associate her with warioware gold which already sours me to her but I love 13-amp from the same game, i think the thing that turns me off of her is that she kind of doesnt feel like a wario character? Most ware characters have this dichotomy between a cool exterior and a less-cool personality, whether that be the most popular girl at school being a huge dweeb or a pair of macho taxi driver being huge sci-fi nerds or a bully/rap battlemaster being secretly very shy and bookish. Lulu doesn't really feel like that, she is a scrappy little girl that is really mad at wario and later is infatuated with young cricket. She has some fleeting silly moments where she gets sidetracked from her goal, but for the most part she presents herself as a scrappy little girl and that's exactly what she is. there isn't that subversive twist at her core that make the other characters so fun to me. I don't think every warioware character necessarily has to follow the same formula but I like a twist. I like a warioware twist.

Her animosity towards wario in gold is probably her peak to me because i can kinda see where they're going with her character, she's presenting herself as the Hero of her Village but is actually a little kid that is not that good at it. Except that she is good at it in the end, but I see where they were going. Unfortunately they drop that angle in get it together and focus more on her thing with cricket, which i don't really like. Had they played her up more as an ineffective self-proclaimed hero I might find her more interesting but it feels like they kinda lost focus? Which is a shame because it woulda been fun. She even has red overalls, which is like the #1 hero's garb

21. When do you think they were at their happiest?

Latching onto young cricket (out of love) and latching onto wario (to kill him)

It was all laid out perfectly, each makeup product both you and Victoria owned combined. Deciding on a sleepover filled with ever cliche activity you both could think of from those cheesy girls movies.

You sat on the vanity, leaning down as you applied more blush to Victoria's cheeks. Biting your lip as you focused.

"You look so pretty." You could see the natural color that spread across her cheeks under the thin layer of make-up that you'd given her. Deciding on a natural look instead of her usual darker eye looks and thicker layer of foundation.

"Don't be a moron." "I'm not, I'm being honest." You winked, running the blush brush back into the pink powder. Laying it lightly along her cheek. "Seriously though Vic, you're gorgeous."

The golden blonde stayed silent though, barely meeting your eyes. And at first you didn't notice, picking up her strawberry lip gloss. Her favorite flavor, your favorite flavor actually but she never told you she knew.

"Open." Victoria listened, parting her lips allowing you to apply the lip gloss better. Her eyes running over every little mark on your face. Every small crease or freckle. Deep in thought, not realizing you'd pulled away until you pushed her jaw up and shut. Looking at her face.

"Perfect." You then smiled, turning and grabbing something before handing her a hand-held mirror. "Take a look." Victoria stared at herself in the reflection, eyes moving back and forth before she nodded with a tight smile. "I'm impressed." "What? Did I do shitty?"

"What? No." Victoria shook her head, forcing a grin on her face. "You did great." "Then why are you giving me the fake smile you give your teachers?" You huffed, taking the mirror from her.

"What's wrong Vic?" "Nothing, really. My turn." "Not until you're honest with me." "I'm being honest." You gave her a look, brushing her hair off of her forehead and to the side. "Tell me what's wrong."

"You didn't put enough, you didn't hide my under eye and you can see my blemishes all along my skin right here." You hadn't realized what she was referring to, even after she pointed it out it took you a minute to see it. Not having seen the 'imperfections' until she showed you.

Victoria then must've seen the confusion in your eyes, staring at her with a strange look. Looking over her face.

"You look beautiful. I didn't even see... I'm sorry. But I get it." You rubber her cheek with your finger, blending the blush better. "You seriously don't see it?" "No. I see you, and you're beautiful." Victoria opened her mouth but nothing came out, avoiding your eyes.

"Tell me what you see." "I just did." "No, tell me exactly what you see." Victoria grabbed the mirror from you again, looking at herself in the reflection. "I don't know." You pointed to the blemishes on her face, and then her dark circles.

"Those are you. They're not makeup or anything someone else did to you. They're you. They're the way you were made, specially for me to love. And I love those parts. Because even if other people see them as... I don't know. Weird.."

You took in a breath, watching her face.

"I see them as the face of the woman that I love. And that I find gorgeous." Victoria let a tear fall, looking down at the mirror in her hands. Your upside down reflection now in view, staring at her while she stared at herself.

"It's hard seeing a standard, that you believe you'll never meet. Because they're standards, and standards are all made up by each person on their own. You make your own standards, society does, shit even birds have their own standards." You laughed, seeing a slight smile appear on her face.

"But everyone has their own. And mine are very high, so you've got to drop dead gorgeous I mean I can feel myself being pulled towards a grave." You laughed, another tear falling onto the mirror as her shoulders shook. Her smile appearing just a bit more.

"You're beautiful to me. Even if you can't see it yourself yet. I'll make it happen. Because you and me have different eyes. And different minds." "I'm sorry." She then dropped the mirror on the floor, wiping her tears away but you were faster. Pulling her head towards your chest.

Hugging her close. Kissing her head as she wrapped her arms around your body.

"Don't be sorry. You have nothing to be sorry for." You whispered, running your hands through her hair. "Nothing at all." "Do you really mean it?" "Every word, Vic."

Victoria then pulled away, wiping her tears. "God you're such a loser." "And you're a bitch, we're made to be." She smiled, then laughed quietly. "Where have you been my entire life?" You then chuckled, leaning back and shrugging.

"Waiting for you."

How i feel about this character

Clash of Titans is my favorite arc in aot so the fact that Ymir was a big part of that plot makes her very special in my eyes. She is that bitsch to me. Like, out of all the female characters she has the strongest and consistent arc which is always a treat to see. She's just oozing confidence, esp in that post abduction scene where she basically figures out reiner's bd straight away Oo, and also she owns the most beautiful aot frame (the one after she turns back into a human and sees the paths) so what can i say

2. All the people i ship romantically with this person

Does this question need an answer fr fr? Of course its Historia - they're one of the few canon ships in aot. They're the only ones who had the guts to confess their feelings for each other. And the songs from ost dedicated to this ship aka Call of Silence and Zero Eclipse make me cry each time. They're happily married and nothing bad has happened to them at all

3. my non-romantic otp for this character

Im gonna have to say Connie just based on the fact that they always seemed kinda close and how Ymir was trying to comfort Connie (although in her own special way) after his visit to Ragako village

4. my unpopular opinion of this character

i really dont have anything that controversial, i agree with almost each and every stuff that people post about Ymir

5. one thing i wish would happen/had happened with this character in canon

Apart from the Yumikuri kiss - I would like for Ymir's memory to influence Porco more than it was showed. Surely Porco tried to reach Marcel's memory but he had to get through Ymir's first. Especially that Ymir saw Reiner all through out their Cadet years and also witnessed his breakdown, the knowledge of that would surely have made Porco more understanding towards Reiner. It's hard to explain - i just wish that the concept of inherited memory was given more attention

My experience at Hogwarts: Fred and George (and Lee!)

Okay everyone talks about Fred and George but like... you never see them without Lee and I know y'all don't even care about this guy but I'm talking about him anyway.

So I first met all of them on the train, and honestly the plan was to act the scared eleven year old but it was not hard. Like not even because they're intimidating just because I was kinda freaked out and also they were taller than me? It's weird being eleven ngl. Anyway they were very nice to me, and also couldn't find anywhere else to sit. Lee had a tarantula which was pretty cool, he named her Anna and I suggested that.

They checked in on me and my friends (we'll come back to them) on our first day there and gave us a bit of a tour around the castle. They kind of talked about Ron a lot... I think the twins were disappointed Ron didn't care about what they had to say about the castle so they showed us instead. They also sort of wanted me to be friends with Ron but when I wasn't they were just like 'fair enough'. They wouldn't show us any of the secret passages though, they said we'd have to find them ourselves. Which I don't think is fair because they just have the marauder's map. Didn't say that though.

After that I didn't see them so much, we obviously didn't have lessons together or anything, but they were always friendly when I met them in the corridors. Honestly I kind of stayed away from them because being within a small range of them just made you more likely to get detention lmao. I managed to avoid detention the whole time I was there so I guess that was a good choice.

Oh and also the twins look nothing like in the films. They're... average height, I'd say, but it's hard because they're two years above me so they're like... tall. Kinda stocky, they both have exactly the same haircut which I think is on purpose. I can tell them apart now, though, even though I'm not quite sure what the difference is. I think George has more freckles, idk. Oh, they have quite long hair, it goes down to their shoulders nearly. Lee does too, but he has dreadlocks. He looks quite like the film tbh.

I feel like I haven't talked about Lee enough, and honestly just as a thing of loyalty to my friend I feel like I should tell you about him. Fred and George are great but I get on with Lee better, he feels more like he's a laugh with less... danger? Fred and George are always five seconds away from blowing something up, y'know. Lee tends to not do that, unless it's with the twins. We haven't gotten to the first Quidditch match of the season yet and he's actually kinda nervous about commentating. Which is sort of sweet.

Okay, so, uh, I didn't actually expect one person to want to hear my shit but now tthere arethree who do (the third one commented hence there's no screenshot of their question but you know who you are) and I am elated but also intimidated. Anyway

As I said before most of them are for Vinnie the beloved, but I will definitely sprinkle other characters in there as well. And third! I basically pulled most of those headcanons out of my ass and they have nothing to do with canon, but seriously, a lot of them I thought of years ago and just kept adding stuff or changing and transforming, borrowing from other characters, projecting until it became an absolute mess. Seriously, this. is. a. mess. Stars help us all.

Ah, and something that I definitely should have mentioned before, most of those are for human au. If possible feel free to take them as if they are for the normal one in which everyone is pets as we know them, but in others, you just won't be able.

Oh, and Vinnie's my favourite character and you know what we do with favourite characters. That's right, I'm gonna fucking give him trauma. Let us commence forth:

let's start with something easy, if we're talking about a universe where people aren't born with colorful hair (basically anime) then his natural hair color is definitely ginger

speaking of his hair, it's long, like, waist-long, but obviously, you can't see itnormallyy in that beautiful pompadour of his, and he takes great care of not letting anyone see that (don't ask how that is supposed to work, I don't know)

he's so so flexible, for example he could do most yoga poses without trying too hard

oh, he's tiny, approximately 5'2" but Russell is also approximately that height and they do argue about it sometimes, each trying to prove that they are in fact taller. They tried so many methods and did official measuring at so many doctor's offices, but the results are always different with that minimal difference which once deems Russell taller and the other time it's Vinnie, so they just continue while Sunil is just a witness to it all, standing there in his tall glory, and one day Penny whispered to him, "They know they're basically fighting over the last place, right?"

he's not genuinely angry or irritated often, but when he is, oh stars he's scary like holy crap and everyone is very much aware of it

he's fairly good at video games, nothing that crazy, but just quite good

also, he's naturally really pale, close to looking sickly pale, but this is just his normal complexion

he's from Italy, Padua to be more exact, however, when he was around 4 he, his sister, and his mother moved to the States so he barely has any memory of it. What he does however have is bilinguality. Yup, he speaks both Italian and English, though obviously doesn't really have that many occasions to speak Italian now

he has vasovagal syncope to needles

oh yeah, he has an older sister whose name is Stephanie and she soaked up all the height genes, like bro

his mother is just a horrible, emotionally abusive person and more and I could talk about her alone for so long but let's stop here for now, also her name is Diana

listen, listen, he has abandonment anxiety and that actually kinda makes sense even in canon but only kinda

he and Penny are such good friends, not quite as good as he and Sunil but still good, and Penny is so affectionate to him, I mean, in general too but whatever they love each other (one is more open about it than the other ehehe)

he has quite an amazing pain tolerance, not naturally though, but he is clumsy and he did break his bones so many times he basically got used to it

I can't decide what age I want to give him but I'd say something between 19 and 25, although sometimes I'm like "Yup, 35 :D"

my boy doesn't like coffee all that much unless it's iced coffee, that he could drink in gallons, he likes energy drinks too

he has so. many. freckles all over his body, mainly on his face and shoulders, sure, but still pretty much everywhere, more or less

he has a tiniest tiny itsy bitsy big obsession with his hair and has so many hair products and will feel genuinely deflated if he has to, for whatever reason, skip his routine of using them

he and Pepper are such silly goofy friends :D they do the stupidest, goofiestiest shit together and on internet chats (discord, basically) they talk in such incoherent memes' language only they can understand it

and don't even get me started on him and Minka, they're kinda like him and Pepper but more wholesome??? They also have this running joke of "being married"

he's allergic to raspberries

he has so many leg warmers, the boy is always cold, you know?

he either doesn't sleep throughout the whole night or sleeps for 12 hours, there's no in-between

Yeah, this isn't even close to all my headcanons but I figured I would stop here. I have so, so many more, like, I didn't even touch the shipping for Vinnie or anyone else for that matter (Vinnil, anyone? Others too). I also wanted to sort of color code those headcanons cause there are differentkindsa of, some Iliterallyy pulled out of my ass, others are somewhat related to canon, and few are based on some fanfics, and more, however, I figured that it would look like an absolute mess if I did it.

I could literally expand on any of those headcanons, some more some less (if someone would be curious ahaha, I could write you an essay), but bold of you to assume that I don't have a whole backstory developed for my boy. I do, and it's long. Also has different versions too because I couldn't just settle for one hence all this is so messy. And I didn't even really show that trauma part too much, but honestly, this is mostly in that backstory aspect. I don't know what else to tell you, but I have so much more and whether you, the person reading it, end up liking it or not, thank you for giving me that possibility of sharing my cringe. And I know I fangirled over Vinnie but I swear I love all of the pets, or humans in this case, you know what I mean.
