He hasn’t had a lot of people he’s gotten really close to other than Thor, his mother and Valkyrie. That’s one wall down, a couple more to go. As his friend you appreciate his witty comebacks and dry sense of humor. You confide in him for his many, many, mannnyy years of wisdom(he hates it when you call him old man wisdom). The fact that you choose to tell him your secrets and have such fun conversations makes things worse for him. 

When you two talk together on the balcony of the avengers compound discussing team mates and funny things that have happened around the compound, he gets this warm feeling in his chest. Looking at you laughing at your own joke, you can barely get the words out. Any other person would look ridiculous but you, he can’t help but look at you with such fondness. After you’ve stopped laughing you see him looking at you with such joy in his eyes and a soft smile. “What” you question. He chuckles and looks down at his hands, “Nothing, it’s just- you’re lucky you became an avenger instead of an entertainer, your jokes might need work.” 

He always saves you some food or a drink at Tony’s parties and other events, it’s always just a little bit but he just wants to make sure you don’t miss out. 💓

 Loki always goes out of his way to keep you safe on missions, if you get overwhelmed by multiple enemies you see a flurry of green magic crackling around you and the enemies are all gone. You could even see a dagger fly past your head hitting a guy about to clobber you over the head. Natasha seems to notice the favoritism after a bomb goes off in a HYDRA facility, Loki uses his body to shield you from the blast. (She knows good and well he could’ve made a shield for all 3 of you😏.) 

When both Natasha and Thor “gang up on him”(his words) about it he deflects again saying he’d do it for any of his friends you just so happened to be closer…so it’s not a big deal. They both smirk and give knowing looks to one another. Thor knows Loki better than anyone, he knows Loki values self-preservation more than anything and to do something so selfless even if he has changed a bit, he must really like you. 

Thor just hugs him and says “I’m happy for you.” and Loki is like ???? Everyone seems to know about his crush except you and him. But when he finally realizes he likes you romantically it hits him like a freight train. Everything feels so new after that moment, he has an existential crisis lollll. He’s always been a charmer, a smooth talker, silver tongued. Now he gets a little more nervous talking to you, when he sees you his heart races. It scares him how much he likes you, you make him soft. He values your opinion, he worries about you, he wants to make sure you’re alright. The thing he’s worried about the most is if you’ll like him back. 

Loki’s still got some self image issues, growing up second best and later finding out he’s a frost giant. In his mind his past and being a frost giant are perfectly good reasons to reject him. In the back of his mind there is a glimmer of hope stemming from your unwavering loyalty and kindness toward him. He can’t ask you to overlook the things he’s done but he does want to be better, for you, for everyone else.

I've watched Spy x Family Code White!!!!

And and ........!!!!

OmG!!!!

It's so totally awesome!!!

Tbh, I've never watched anime movie that good before!

I might be biased, but truly, it WAS so AWESOME that I'm planning to rewatch it (if I've ever managed to find extra free time)

My full with spoiler review under the cut

So first of all, the animation quality WAS top notch!

They way they draw scenery, background, lighting, camera movements. OmG!! I really love how WIT studio pay so much attention to details. And the smoothness of it.

The scenery of snowy mountains, sun light reflections through crystalize ice, the water...... wow!

And then there were the difference in way of drawing scenes. Like Anya's imagination was drawn so cartoony, meanwhile Yor's fiery 🔥🔥🔥 fight with type F was drawn with so much intensity, and Loid's stealthy fight was drawn with different color as if Loid was in different dimentions than the rest of the enemies because he was the only one in disguises.

This different way of drawing scenes kind of like Spiderman into the spiderverse, but not to that extent. Nevertheless, it's super awesome.

The foods!!! OmG! Those were detailed and awesome food drawings that make me drools 🤤🤤🤤 desserts, main courses, even snacks!! Wooooaaaa

The action!!! I bow down to the animators. WIT studio once again showing off their skills in drawing super awesome fight action scenes. They draw the character movements very well. Even Fiona get her short glimpse of action scene and that's awesome!

Loid's different action tones animation is super awesome, but I have to bow down and thank the animation team in making Yor (my queeeennn 🛐🛐) being super badass!!! The way she ended the fight with type F??? Guh..... I need all my will power not to screamed "That's my queen!!" in the middle of theatre 🤣

Of course like all anime movies out there, we have to lower our expectation regarding plots. (Plot? What plot? We're here to see the family awesomeness 🤣)

We can easily spot the re-use of plot from canon material but was shown in different font, such as:

Yor's jealousy towards Fiona, that leads her thinking she's inadequate mom and wife, that was a result from her overthink her 3 gossipers cowokers

Fiona's obsesiveness in trying to impress Twilight and becoming the Forger mother

Drunk Yor vs Twilight which ended with Yor sleeping

The super direct advance of Twilight that sucessfully making Yor super embarrases that her body instinc injured Loid

Super long and hiperbolic poop joke from Anya

(These managed to make us the audiences LOLed though 🤣🤣🤣)

Not to say, plot holes (?) Or plot that make you go "huh?", such as:

The super unnecessary idea of replacing Loid with other incompetent agent for a mission as important as Op.Strix

The possible stella from a cooking contest that end up all for nothing because of technicallity malfunction

Putting a very valuable microchip inside a common trunk, and all of a sudden was transported in a common train, leniently lying around in a place where a kid can meddle with it. Secured with only 1 very common key.

A secret recipe of dessert that is a secret but the restaurant owner can give the ingridients to stranger because the owner felt guilty that Anya's share was taken by a foodie adult with military power.

An old plane memento that somehow still in prime condition that can be used by Twilight to pursue Anya's kidnappers.

I can't be helped. The animators may not create something that might disturb canon stories afterall. So these plots were just there to drive the story forward, and forward the story goes!!

(Despite all the things I mentioned above, I still enjoyed the story well.)

And then, last but the most important things, the movie managed to deliver the family awesomeness so well!! The animators clearly know the character and character dinamics so very well. And I, again, bow down to them. 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️

There are so many moments that will make you go "awwwwwww" and give you so much fluff and sweetness you'd have diabetes right away.

The way Loid always tried his best to give the best for the family, but he forget that the family IS the important one. And Yor was there to softly remind him of it. (This scene was so soft I really teared up 🥲🥲🥲🥲)

The way Anya tried her best to help her papa in acquiring the ingridients because that's the mission was, but eventually she got into trouble. And yet at the end Loid was still very proud of her.

The way Yor took care of Anya and play with her during the trip, the way she protected Anya during their initial fight and at the end of the fight (so many mother daughter moments!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰)

The difference way of fighting between Twilight and Thorn Princess. Like Twilight will go all stealth and disguises until he can't. Meanwhile Thorn Princess was just strorm right through the front door (or rear wall in this movie), demolishing everything while at the same time politely asking for her daughter and husband 🤣🤣🤣

The way all of family working together so that the plane didn't crash at the town, and the way they laugh (Yor and Anya were laughing out loud, meanwhile Loid was chuckling) when all of them managed to "safely" landed.

Good boy Bond always tried his best to support Anya and even galantly tried to defend her but alas, he was no match to human enemy. 🥲🥲

I was just 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

And really, Endo should take notes.

Because all of these are what make we love Forger family. And that it IS possible to make the family do a mission together without revealing their secrets. Like Loid's lousy excuses that make Yor went wooooww, Yor's even more lousy half lies that Loid believes just like that 🤣🤣🤣🤣 (these two omG!)

I also love how Anya as the captain of TwiYor ship actively pushing her parents. Yes Anya 🥰🥰🥰

I also love how the main villain able to recognize Twilight in disguises via the unusual scent. Like. Woa!! That is so possible!! I mean, latex should have a very distinctive smell afterall.

All in all, truly an amazing first movie!!! I do hope one day the anime team will continue to make amazing movies in the future. 🥰🥰🥰

But rs mother isnt exactly the greatest mother to r and to summarise abuses them, emotionally or physically up to you tbh. Holding them up to ridiculous standards and tells them she wished she had aborted them, generally just being a bit of a dick- making fun of how the reader looks and thinking they have ownership of the reader and her body bc shes their mother. Lady Dimitrescu is not tolerating this in her castle and as much as she wants to ignore it she cares for reader bc her daughter loves them (idk if that makes sense) so she comforts reader like a mother should, praising reader when their mother has just shouted at them or something.

It’s breakfast time- your favorite time. In general, mealtimes are your favorite. It’s the times of days when all sisters and their mother are together

Alcina never misses it. She always pauses her work, even on busy days, to spend this time with her daughters and you. It feels almost like a privilege to sit among them, sometimes

However, now all you feel is dread, and yet: still hope

You’re quick to greet her and ask her how she is doing when she scolds you for this, too

But it seems even that can’t be done right, for she simply starts scolding you for not checking in more often

After all, how is it she only learns months later that you are dating one of the “monsters” of the castle?

Her displeasure makes it quite clear, even if it has been already: she intended for you to work there and earn her money until your demise

You flinch when she steps closer to you, as though to examine you

You spare your girlfriend a pitiful look as she attempts to interrupt, yet is cut off by your mother’s tsks again

She comments on your clothing. One of your favorite outfits, made to ruin by her. The colours, the fabric, the style is all criticized

Then, your body

You flinch when a finger sharply pokes your stomach

“And I thought they would feed you less, here”

The comment stings, and has both, you and your girlfriend, tense up. Her, in anger. You seem to only shrink into yourself

You know, she’s looking for a way to keep back your mother without causing offense. She is still your mother, after all

You hold back your tears when you’re criticized again, your hair, your face, your arms and hands

“I love them and how they look”, your girlfriend protests when your look as a whole is criticized

This makes you jump in surprise, and whimper when it causes your mother to finally turn to your partner

She examines her, as if determining her worth

She scowls at the tattoo on her forehead, yet her features soften at beautiful hair, a regal-looking face, a smooth neck sporting a necklace with a very obviously expensive gemstone

Smooth skin and a seductive figure, a beautiful, if gothic, dress clinging to her and hugging her body and curves perfectly

Your mother laughs for a moment

And it stings when she points out: you’re not at all worth your girlfriend’s time

Of course, your lover immediately corrects this. She assures: you’re her everything

And yet it is only met with a scowl

Your eyes snap back to your mother when she calls your name, her own eyes icy cold

Upon being asked how much money you make, you fall silent

Living at the castle and being in this relationship, you don’t make any. You work, yet not for money, but to support the staff and ultimately Alcina. You don’t get paid, simply work to keep busy and support

After all, why would you be in need of money? Your girlfriend’s money is yours, now. And hers is Alcina’s. Being paid for your work would only come from your own pocket, ultimately

You don’t dare tell your mother about this. You refuse to risk her taking any of the money that belongs to the Dimitrescu family. A warm flutter spreads in your chest momentarily as you realize: it includes you now

Yet, this doesn’t satisfy at all, and you flinch as she throws up her hands and yells

After all, she sent you to this place to earn money for her! And here you are, empty handed and happy? She’s fuming

She screams, calls you a mistake, a waste

When your lover steps in front of you, arms crossed and yelling back at last no matter the consequence, you take it as an opportunity to slip out the room

You run, tears blurring your vision as you sob so violently, your body trembles

You aren’t even sure where you’re running off to, or for how long you have been running

You’re ashamed as the staff sees you sob and run last them. You just want to get out of sight

You’re running fast, and before you know it, push through several doors until you burst into a room

Only when Alcina gasps in surprise at the intrusion do you notice you’ve stumbled, seemingly automatically, into her office

She frowns in concern at your state. Your heart beats so fast, unnaturally so. You’re distressed

Your expression is pained, and tears stick to your cheeks and jawline

She can’t help but care for you. You are important to her precious daughter- as such you have grown into the countess quite a lot

You sob quietly as she gets off her chair and moves towards you. A door is closed, and a large hand sets on your backside

It’s guiding you, you realize, towards the large chair in the corner

To your surprise though, she sits down before you can. To your even grander surprise, you’re lifted on her lap

Ignoring the blush of embarrassment on your cheeks, you can’t help but reach out to feel the fabric of her dress

For a moment, Alcina watches you as you fiddle with it. It seems to help you, even as you still cry a little

You feel her large hand on your back, the other set over your knee, covering it whole. Her thighs are large and steady, but comfortable, and there is a warmth naturally radiating from her body that the sisters seem to lack

You feel grounded, with her here. It makes you feel better, even as you sit in silence

You find three loose strands on the dress, and she watches curiously as your fingers immediately move to it

Her hand hovers, ready to stop should you pull like her two youngest daughters like to do

You aren’t, though. Alcina watches in confusion as you begin braiding the little strings between your small fingers

You work gently, and meticulously

When you finish, you trace the tiny braid

“What meticulous grace you possess, little one”, she praises, her eyebrow raised curiously as she traces the tiny thing with her index fingertip

You can’t help but feel a light, happy feeling in your chest at her words, and feel it settle there among the darkness caused by your mother’s words

Your tears have dried, and yet new ones roll down your cheeks at the mere memory of her words just before

You aren’t quite sure you’re ready to share her words yet, but thankfully, there is no need

You feel her move about, until you find yourself pulled close to her, with your head comfortably resting against her chest. It’s rare you feel this at ease, even as sobs wretch your body. You feel warm when her arm slings around you, as though protecting you from the evil of this world

You see now, how the sisters are so devoted to their mother. You couldn’t quite understand from your own experience, but it’s clear: Alcina is different from your mother in every way

You sob quietly as you turn, your body tucked into hers. Due to her height, you fit perfectly against her stomach and chest

You cringe a little as you notice your tears wet her expensive dress, yet as you attempt to pull away, a hand comes up to the back of your head

Not strong, or forceful. Not even threatening. Reassuring, rather. She wants to keep you there

“Don’t mind them, little one. Tell me what happened”, she demands gently

You feel yourself relaxing against her, your hand coming up to hold onto her dress

When you open your mouth, it takes a few second for words to spill out. Then, you can’t stop yourself

You cry as you talk, slurring and stuttering, whimpering and trembling. But her piercing, golden eyes are warm and stay on you, and her arms do not untangle from around you. She does not interrupt you either, and yet it feels like she understands every little of your broken words

Her brows furrow in anger quickly at the words spilling from your lips

How dare someone treat you this way? Alcina thinks a lot of you. Obviously, or else she would not allow her daughter to be with you. She would not have a fool for her precious darlings, after all

Lucky for you, Alcina approves of you. And as such, she is enraged by your mother’s words

“Unworthy?!”, she gasps, utterly shocked upon hearing your mother said such a thing

“I am yet to deem people unworthy”, she protests. A silent, but honest phrase. You catch the meaning: you are worthy, according to all whose opinion matters

You feel yourself calming down a little again as she talks, praise after praise of your qualities falling from her lips

You’re quite surprised she has paid you much mind, really, but feel content in her arms

Eventually, as she talks, you feel yourself calming down

Your head is tilted upwards against her chest, and you feel your eyes slipping shut as she traces your features with her fingertip

Alcina watches curiously as she does this, first tracing your brow and nose, then your cheek

She remembers doing this the first time, with her eldest daughter back when she was a child and experienced distress the first time. Seeing as it calmed her down greatly, it’s now her go-to

And it seems to calm you, too

You don’t notice you’re hugging her and pushed up against her until she shifts her arms and you find yourself curled up in her spacious lap

Through heavy eyes you see her pick up a book, and with a tired smile on your lips, you cuddle closer as she begins to read

You don’t recall the last time you felt this relaxed with anyone that wasn’t your lover

As her words turn muffled the more sleep takes over you, your eyes feel heavier and heavier

Your mother’s words no longer linger on your mind, instead all you focus on is the comfort and love you feel in the moment, the happiness and acceptance

You don’t notice when your eyes slip shut, but with a smile, you fall asleep at last

An hour later or so, Alcina jumps when her door is slammed open again

This time, her daughter is the one entering the room, her fist clenched and a scowl on her face

“Mother, I’m going to kill someone!”

She laughs fondly at the remark, the book clasping close as she rests it on the small, unoccupied space left on her lap

Just as her daughter attempts to sit down there too, she shrieks in surprise and swarms backwards upon finding the space occupied by- you

Alcina smiles at the adorable expression on her face

She pulls you a little closer, then extends her arm and gently pulls her confused daughter closer

“Come here, my little fly”, she coos, sensing the woman’s anger at your mother. As expected, she purrs and eagerly leans into the countess’s touch

Alcina smiles lovingly as she, at last, too climbs into her lap, settling comfortably and purring contentedly

Even in your sleep, you feel your lover pull you closer, and even as you sleep; a small smile shows on your lips

Jonathan Crane strolled through the streets of Gotham after a typical, mundane, and absolutely ordinary day of work at Arkham Asylum. His mind was on his patients, yes, but more importantly on the typical musings regarding the intricacies of fear and potential applications of his newest fear toxin. Lost in his thoughts, Jonathan nearly missed the commotion ahead.

There you were, accosted by a rugged man whose grip on you is far too tight and clearly not desired. You back into a wall in disgust, and, while you tried to maintain calm, a sense of fear trickled through your façade.

It was just your luck. Your mother had warned you about the dangers of living in a city like Gotham. Speaking of luck, how gracious it was for fate to bestow upon you the unwanted presence of your ex in the darkness of the streets on such a night.

Now, if Jonathan weren't so concerned for someone as pretty as you to be handled in such a way, he would take pleasure, and pride even, in being able to make you feel so afraid. But not like this. No, this wouldn't do one bit.

Jonathan was many things - some may even call him an evil man, but he was raised knowing how to properly treat a woman and this was not it.

The ogre of a man with his hands on you growls, "Just listen to me, you stupid bitch. I just want to talk."

"It seems like you want to do much more than talk," you retort, grimacing as you feel his breath on your face.

Jonathan couldn't stand idly by, not when a scene like this unfolded before him. The primal instinct to protect you stirred within him, mingling with the ever-present curiosity about human reactions to fear. He approached with measured steps, his presence unnoticed until he stood between you and your aggressor.

Your ex's attention shifted to Jonathan, his demeanor morphing from aggression to mockery.

"Back off, buddy," he sneered, tightening his grip on your wrist. "This ain't none of your business."

Jonathan offered a thin-lipped smile, his voice smooth but with an underlying edge. "On the contrary, buddy," he replied, his gaze cold as he assessed the situation. "It seems I've stumbled upon quite the predicament."

Jonathan's eyes met yours inquisitively. You mouth a please back at him. Your ex is too riled up to notice the exchange.

The man scoffed, dismissing Jonathan's words with a wave of his hand, "What's a measly twig like you going to do, huh? Get lost!"

What your ex failed to notice was the canister Jonathan held in his hand at the ready, its contents unknown to you.

And so, before you knew it, this stranger of a man sprayed your horrid ex with some kind of chemical. Recognition dawned in your ex's eyes, too late to escape the impending terror.

You reeled back against the wall and crumbled to the ground as your ex's screams made their way into your ears. A small part of you thought he probably deserved it.

Your ex made his departure, seemingly off his fucking rocker, his screams echoing in the distance far off down the street. You closed your eyes with anticipation, breathing deep breaths and doing what you could to calm yourself.

Jonathan knelt down in front of you, pale yet beautiful eyes glittering under the streetlights, "Are you alright, my dear?"

Your eyes fluttered open and you gazed back at him thankfully in response, "Um - yeah. Thank you, I suppose. W-What exactly did you do to him?"

Jonathan's expression softened, a hint of amusement playing on his lips as he met your gaze.

"Merely a temporary remedy to his insolence," he responded cryptically, his tone laced with a subtle edge. "Consider it a gift from a concerned observer."

You nodded, still trying to process the whirlwind of emotions coursing through you. This beautiful stranger had saved you, and you hardly knew him.

"Well, I appreciate your... concern," you managed to say, offering him a weak smile.

Jonathan rose to his feet gracefully, his demeanor once again composed and enigmatic. "Think nothing of it," he replied, his voice carrying a hint of mystery. "But do be cautious in the future. Gotham can be a treacherous place, especially for those as... captivating as yourself."

With that, Jonathan nodded curtly and began to walk away, his silhouette fading into the shadows of the night. You watched him go, a mixture of gratitude and curiosity swirling within you.

As you picked yourself up from the ground, you couldn't help but wonder about the stranger who came to your rescue. Who was he, really? And what secrets lay hidden behind those piercing eyes? Part of you was ready to ask him for his name or for his comforting presence as you walked home.

But for now, you pushed those thoughts aside, grateful for the unexpected intervention that spared you from further harm. And as you continued on your way home, you couldn't shake the feeling that perhaps, just perhaps, Gotham's shadows held more than just darkness—they held the promise of enigmatic saviors with entrancing blue eyes.
