i mean i can see the argument but to me theres an aspect of monster romance which is like very symbolic in nature and if wanting to get with santa claus is symbolic of anything i think it just indicates that youve got a thing for kind, generous older bears who want to spoil you. and who can blame you!

I think a big difference between Luffy and Dragon is that Luffy sails because he's chasing his dream while Dragon sails because he wants other people to be able to chase their dreams.

I don't think being a revolutionary is what he always dreamed of doing. I don't think it was ever his dream to be the person who acted first. It's simply what happened.

ok here’s my speculation post. all things considered the suffering game is a pretty short arc and a good chunk of it is wheel spins so i could see them cutting back a bit on the sacrifices (or montaging it) to make room for the lunar interludes

i think the taakitz date has to happen at the very start of the book to make the gut punch of seeing kravitz in the goo later rly hit. i can see them shortening it a little or just implying that it happened but i hope not LOL. i need it. in the flesh. merle’s scene w the red robe feels like a good flashback scene. no idea what they’re gonna do w magnus and the voidfish. 

and then knowing that its 272 pages i this this book ends on the barry bluejeans reveal. it’d be cool to get thru all the bureau stuff but i feel like that rly needs space to breathe

anyways i was thinking and honestly i kinda hate how this fandom romanticizes kalim and jamil's relationship, like although they have such silly moments together people tend to forget that their relationship is extremely bad for the both of them and that is an important thing to both of their characters

kalim and jamil work better when they are away from eachother, yet they are never allowed to do so, jamil because he's forced to serve kalim, and kalim because jamil is afraid of what will happen if he takes his eyes off of kalim. their relationship is so tragic because no matter how hard they try, in the end they'll always be keeping eachother from living, there's no way they could work out with how things are on game. i truly, truly wish one day kalim will be able to free the vipers, so they can finally be something else other than servants of his family. and i hope jamil goes away, disappears, for time enough that he feels at least a bit better, and that one day, he reaches out, asking about kalim, meeting up with him, and that they talk, finally get everything out of their chests and have a heart to heart conversation whitout having to worry about their statuses, maybe then, they could finally have a friendship like how kalim craves desperately
