it is so important to me that both ed and oswald can canonically play the piano and sing

They're So Soft
How anyone could think that these two could do any wrong is beyond me. Even at one of his lowest points, Oswald is thinking about his mother and then looks to his BEST BOYFRIEND to go to her grave and visit. And Ed agrees to do it, and you absolutely know that he will. They care about each other so much. It's lovely.
This damn show.
AND THERE ARE LILIES ON HER GRAVE.
Ed is such a good guy.

Fellas, is it gay if you walk up to your friend who's pointing a gun at you so that the barrel is resting against your heart and promise that if you're ever at odds again he'll know he's your enemy, and then he promises you that if he ever kills you it won't be by blowing you up with a lot of other people, it'll be by stabbing you in the heart while looking into your eyes?

Nygmobblepot Headcanon 1
Oswald likes stealing Ed's phone to change Ed's phone wallpaper into something stupid (like unattractive pictures of Ed's face or doing something like picking his nose). Oswald is doing another routine swipe of Ed's phone but doesn't have the heart to change it because this time because Ed's phone wallpaper is a cute picture of the two of them (like their first date together, or the only picture they have together).

I know that's its probably the most talked about scene from the whole show, but I don't think I've processed it. The Wake Up Alone scene... imagine being the writers... imagine pitching that scene.. but also.. everything from those hallucinations came from Edward's mind. None of that was actually Oswald. The way they wrote him there is all how Edward perceives him. Also just, what was the point of that scene, other than to show that even is Edward refused to believe it, he was at least a little romantically interested in him. What other reason was there to portray Oswald they way they do during that scene? The clothing, the angles, the song choice, the way that even though Edwrad protests, and tells Oswald to stop, he never tries to remove himself from the situation. He makes the choice to stay. He was literally on his way out, and he didn't leave. He made the CHOICE to stay. That scene, man, that scene.

It Was Always About Them
I’m now on the Series Final of Gotham. I feel a bit sad about it, but it just means I get to rewatch the entire show again so I can see these two beautiful men do their thing. I have no idea what it is, but I love them. I love their whole dynamic, their old married couple vibe.
I’m so bummed that I missed out peak fandom content but I’m going to be here in my little corner thinking about these two for a long time.
