alphas tony and pepper going at each other's throat because they have no healthy way to release their energies and mutually deciding to bring an omega into the relationship
peter just thinks two knots on demand is fun and it doesn't hurt that he's been in love with them since before puberty

do u guys think about the fact that kitty’s first appearance and emma’s first appearance is in the same issue, the fact that kitty was introduced as a potential hero who just went to rescue the x-men even though she doesn’t even know them and emma as kitty’s first villain….
do u guys think about how after emma’s attempt to become a good person in gen x was failed by her sister, her past and eventually after genosha and the failure in new x-men 2001 she still left behind to rebuild the school and recruited kitty to be a teacher because she knows she’s never gonna be that good, so she needs someone to look out for her…
do u guys think about how her past and survivor’s guilt was eating her alive and manifested but kitty still didn’t want to understand her or feel sorry for her because her own dad had died in genosha, too? but, eventually how kitty’s last interaction before she disappeared in space was with emma, how emma would have had to live with the fact that kitty somewhat died because she recruited her because she needed her to be there… how emma dreamed about kitty when she thought she wasn’t making a good decision, how after kitty returned from space she had to take kitty along, showing her what shaw did to her, wanting kitty to understand her…
how after all the mess thru avx~hox, emma still reached out to kitty in a brand new world with a new chance and kitty, then, eventually is okay with accepting emma, ok with feeling good being close to her because she didn’t let herself feel those things thinking it’s not what she should? and emma who’s never good with feelings or close ones being dead, had hope and didn’t let herself drown in those bad feelings and instincts when kate was dead, to become good for her? they’re so intertwined in the narrative…. im feeling insane….. like!!! kitty eventually becoming the hero she’s meant to be, growing up to be that adult she’s supposed to be in the 40 years of publishing!! emma reforming and having more background than just being a one-dimensional villain, becoming a core x-men in those 40 yrs!! they’re introduced as a new hero / a villain and after all those times kate let goes of the hatred she had for emma and lets herself accept those confusing feelings, and emma lets herself hope and tries to be good… also in the current issue where kate is the one who lost hope emma is there trying to tell her it’s not!!! they’re just. the narrative is just!!

Okay so nobody asked but THIS is the scene I was talking about in the tags of that post the other day. It makes a lot more sense with context but every time I read this I have to pause for a few moments
What’s funnier is THIS panel the chapter before where the task force is discussing who Mello is most likely to contact (and come to agree that it’s most likely Mogi)
And Matsuda instantly assumes it will be for romantic reasons??? Or at least it seems like it???? I don’t know what else this could be implying
