(Fazbear Entertainment is not liable for any light sensitivity problems guests may experience during the Water Shows, Drowning or Missing People after hours at the Pizzaplex)
...
I don't know why I wrote that as an advertisement. Just felt right.
ANYHOO Lyra does glow in the dark. Lyra when its dark, glows in the dark for mostly shows but also cause after the Plex is closed the majority of the waterparks lights go out after a certain hour. This is just for the health of the live fish in the off limits to public aquarium tanks so they have a healthy day and night cycle.
Lyra lights up so she herself can see and handlers can see her in the dark parts of the pools and tanks. When in the dark her pupils also become larger making her eyes completely black like a deep-sea fish trying to take in as much light as possible to see.
I hope you like her cause I'm in love and hope to find more reasons to draw her.

You arrive home the next morning to an empty house. Thank God. The boys had another day at the studio you were assuming, which gave you plenty of time and space to turn the kitchen into a full blown bakery.
After a quick shower, you begin to assemble the kitchen into your work space. Cartons of eggs and milk, bags of flour and sugar, tubes and cartons of icing, and multicolor sprinkles litter the kitchen counters. Bowls, pans, and cupcake liners accompany the baking products.
With an apron tied around your waist, you turn on the radio, singing and dancing as you mix up the batter with a smile. This is where you were most happy. In the kitchen, surrounded by loads of treats that would make others happy, too.
“Up next...Guns N’ Roses.”
You freeze, licking the sweet vanilla batter from your fingers, turning your attention to the radio to make sure you’d heard it correctly. A song begins to play, the guitar in the beginning extremely impressive, and you increase the volume, bobbing your head and jumping around to the beat. Holy fuck. Axl can sing.
It’s the first time you’ve ever heard him. He has a raw, raspiness to his voice that’s unlike any voice you’ve ever heard. It’s pleasantly scratchy. It’s unusually rugged. It’s sexy. And not that you would admit it out loud, but Axl’s voice? Ten times better than Vince’s.
There's a knock at your door but you don’t hear it, too focused on the song as you sway your body, feeling the rhythm in your bones. Axl lets himself in, surprised that you’d left the door unlocked, stopping dead in his tracks as he watches you with amusement in his eyes. When he recognizes the song as his own, he quietly shuts the door, leaning against the wall, observing your every motion.
It’s a total contrast from what he saw last night. You’re lively now, freshly showered and clean, grinning from ear to ear, no care in the world. He loves this look on you.
The song comes to an end and you pout, but then your eyes focus on the man standing in your home. He wears a proud smirk, and his lips are inviting.
“Don’t stop on my account,” Axl says, coming into the kitchen. He wraps you in a hug, kissing the top of your head. You notice the kiss lingers a bit longer than usual.
“Axl, you’re amazing,” you say, and his heart soars. Your eyes, your voice, hold nothing but sheer adoration. “What was that song?”
“Sweet Child O’ Mine,” he replies proudly, taking in the sight of your messy kitchen. Oh shit, what was he about to get himself into? “Jeez, did something blow up in here?”
Chuckling, you throw him an extra apron. He raises an eyebrow at first in protest, but then wraps it around his waist after you mentioned that cupcake batter doesn’t come out of jeans. It does, though. But seeing Axl in a bright yellow apron will provide you with comedic relief, so you force him to put it on.
“Well I loved it. I don’t know why Vince won’t let me listen to you guys, but you’re incredible. I hope it comes on again,” you answer. “Now, how much experience do you have with baking cupcakes?”
And as Axl stares back at you blankly, all you can do is laugh. The next three hours were going to be fun. You could just tell.
~~~
“Who in the hell needs fifty fucking cupcakes?” Axl asks as you both scan all the flavors spread out on your counters. Chocolate. Vanilla. Red velvet. Funfetti. And that’s not including the surplus of icing flavors you have yet to douse the cupcakes in.
“My friend Lei, the owner of the restaurant we met in, she’s throwing her son this huge ninth birthday party. The boy has like twenty friends alone, and that doesn’t include all her family members that will be there,” Wiping your hands on the apron, you fish two butter knives from a drawer, handing one to Axl. “She was my first friend when I came to LA. I love her family. I never charge her the full price, but she always tips generously so I don’t mind.”
“So how am I supposed to do this?” Axl asks, picking up a small carton of icing, ripping off the lid. “I don’t wanna screw this up.” While he was there to help, Axl also wanted to impress you, though he barely knew his way around a kitchen. The best he could do, on a good night, was pasta.
“It’s easy. Watch me.” You dig the knife into the chocolate icing, swirling the metal utensil a few times before pulling out a bountiful amount. “So you take this much and then slap it on the top of the cupcake. And then you spread it around. Make sure to get the sides.”
Axl catches on quick. Soon, he’s icing the cupcakes like a pro while the two of you dance along to the radio music. A few songs you’re familiar with, some by Freddie Mercury, Poison, and even Mötley Crüe.
You smile. Axl rolls his eyes as he listens to your boyfriend's screeching voice, but it doesn’t keep him from dancing with you.
He loves this. He loves seeing you so happy, and he loves knowing that he contributes to part of your happiness.
His enthusiasm in the kitchen doesn’t last long, though. After icing fifteen cupcakes, he’s fallen bored. Beside him, you sway your body, eyes focused on the cupcake in front of you, when Axl gets an idea.
He checks to see if you’re watching him before he scoops a dollop of strawberry icing onto his finger. “You have icing on your face,” he says calmly, holding back his laugh.
Glancing toward him, your eyebrows pull together. “Where?”
And your eyes go wide as he spreads the sweet cream across your lips. “Right there.”
For a second, he’s worried you’re upset. You don’t move, you don’t flinch. But then you startle him as you swipe a line of vanilla icing across his cheek. He’s taken aback, and you smile innocently. “Oops.”
Game on.
He dips another finger in the chocolate icing, drawing a horizontal line across your forehead, and you counter with more strawberry icing, two fingers skimming across his nose.
A full on icing war erupts in the kitchen as you and Axl grab the butter knives, flinging the cream at each other. It goes everywhere: Your faces, your aprons, the fridge, the counters, the floor, and somehow gets on the ceiling. The kitchen looks as if a bomb was set off, the poor cupcakes rest on the table, half un-iced. Icing is everywhere it shouldn’t be, but you’re having the time of your life with your best friend. Your heart is full.
“Okay, okay, I surrender!” You beam at Axl who cocks his head curiously, but he stalks toward you when you put your hands up in defeat. He returns to his position beside you, giving you a look before grabbing another cupcake to decorate.
You’re too quick for him as you sneakily dig your finger into the vanilla icing. By the time he sees you and tries to protest, your fingers are brushing the icing across his mouth, a look of triumph on your face. “Gotcha. I win.”
He sets the knife down with a grin, turning back toward you. Grabbing your wrist, his brings your hand to his mouth, eyes dark.
“What are you doing?”
Slowly, his lips wrap around your fingers, tongue swirling around to collect the sweetness. Lips parted, your breath is shaky, just like your legs, as you feel his warm tongue lick the cream from your fingers. He knows what he’s doing. He’s driving you wild while also testing you. To see how far you’re willing to let him go.
You almost whimper when his lips unwrap from your digits. He smirks, dropping your hand, and steps forward. His breath fans over your face, and he’s so close to you, but not close enough. “You still have cream on your lips.”
“Yeah, I…” You swallow slowly, nodding your head. “I know. So uh...do you.”
Another step forward from Axl has your head spinning. There’s a darkness to his eyes, one of pure lust as they flicker to your cream coated mouth. His hand, soft and gentle, grazes the skin of your collarbone before it wraps around the back of your neck. Leaning into his touch, you lick your lips once, hands pressed against the fabric of his cutoff t-shirt. He’s going to kiss you. Fuck, he’s going to kiss you.
“Axl--.”
“Tell me you don’t want this,” his voice is tender and smooth, quiet, almost as if he’s just as nervous as you are. Only on the outside, he’s calm, unflinching.. And he’s ready, but not unless you are too. “Tell me this isn’t what you want.”
But you can’t.
You can’t say anything like that.
Because it’s not true.
Because you do want it.
Because you want him.
And when he dips down to your face, noses touching, lips dusting against lips, you melt. You fall apart under his touch as his lips mold with yours in the sweetest kiss, and not because of the lingering taste of vanilla and strawberry icing.
You shouldn’t, you know you shouldn’t, but you kiss him back, hard, arms wrapping around his neck to pull him against you. He backs you against the counter and you don’t have a chance to draw in a breath, lips working together in passion, in fiery need.
The air around you is buzzing, your head is spinning with thoughts of him, of Axl, of the boy he was and the man he is now. In a kitchen, in a home that you share with your boyfriend, is where you're kissing your best friend and loving every minute of it.
But as you kiss him, you realize that he’s no longer a friend to you. He’s something more. He's always been something more. Something as simple as a kiss has opened your eyes, your heart.
The more you kiss, the more intense it gets. You’re lost within it, and you don’t want to be found. It feels right. Axl feels right.
With each swipe of his tongue against your own, he steals your breath. The kiss feels like lightning as it cracks against the sky, and your heart is just as loud as thunder.
You kiss long, you kiss hard, until the faint sound of an opening door pries your bodies apart. Staring at Axl, you’re breathless. He’s breathing heavy, and his eyes are focused on the man behind you.
You don’t want to turn around. You already know who is standing in the doorway, watching the scene in front of him unfold.
And when you turn around, your fears are confirmed. Vince stands, one hand on the doorknob, the other slack at his side. His eyes are sharp, cutting through you, as he steps inside and slams the door.
It’s eerily silent at first. Axl’s eyes are on Vince, your eyes are on Vince, and Vince’s eyes are somewhere looking between the both of you.
And you whisper, “Vin--.”
But he holds up a hand, silencing you. He stalks into the kitchen, eyes only focusing on Axl as he says in a menacingly low voice, “I don’t want to know why you’re in my goddamn house, but you have three seconds to take yourself outside before I crush your skull with my bare hands.”
“Vince!”
He pins you with a glare, daring you to challenge him.
All you do as a response is release a sigh of relief. He hadn’t seen the kiss.
Axl gives you one last look. Your eyes plead with him not to go, not to leave you alone with Vince. He was sober, luckily, but sometimes, he was scarier that way.
~~~
Not even the second Axl steps foot outside is when he feels himself being slammed, back first, against the side wall of the house. Vince grips the collar of his shirt, lips curled back in a snarl, eyes crazed.
“What do I need to do to get you to stay away from my girl, huh? Do I have to kill you? Huh?”
“You won’t do shit,” Axl replies nonchalantly, rolling his neck. He refuses to let Vince intimidate him. “Me and Y/N are friends. Get the fuck over it.”
The bricks of the wall press harder into Axl’s back, and he bites down on his tongue to keep from making a sound.
“Then you don’t know me.”
Something cool presses against the base of Axl’s throat, and he swallows, breathing through his nose to calm his racing heart. He feels the rough ridges of the blade against his skin, and he shuts his eyes briefly, trying to remain calm.
“You know what that is,” Vince taunts. “One wrong move and you’re done.”
Vince backs away, and Axl can finally breathe.
They stare at each other, eyes calculated, fists clenched, jaw set. There’s no way they’ll ever be able to settle the hatred between them. The animosity they feel, it’s too strong. They’re both fighting for the same girl, but only one of them will win.
“Get off my property,” Vince says gruffly, poking a finger in Axl’s chest. “And stay the hell away from my girl.”
~~~
Axl arrives home in a fury, slamming the door behind him, smashing an open palm against the wall.
He’s never felt so enraged before.
So threatened.
Scared that maybe Vince was actually crazy enough to hurt him.
He mutters a string of curses under his breath, forehead pressed against the wall. He should’ve done something, fought back, but instead he let Vince have the upper hand.
Axl’s heart raced at the thought of you at home with Vince. God, he shouldn’t have fucking left. Vince...the damn bastard had already laid his hands on you once. What if you were fighting right now? What if he hurt you again?
“Fuck!”
He slams his palm against the wall again, ignoring the sting. When he turns around, breathing heavily, he pauses, eyes flickering from one bandmate to another.
“Uh…” Steven trails off, glancing at Izzy, who shrugs his shoulders.
“Are you good?” Slash asks, feet raised on the coffee table.
Duff squints, coming forward, poking Axl’s cheek. “What the hell is on your face? Paint?”
“It’s icing,” Axl says, grabbing a napkin to wipe the residue from his face. He can’t wait to shower, wash off all the icing, the anger.
“Do we want to know?” Izzy asks, shutting off the TV.
Oh, boy, where to start.
“I went to Y/N’s to help her bake cupcakes and then it turned into this big icing war and before either one of us knows what the fuck is going on I kissed her and it was the best kiss I’ve ever had in my life and then the door opens not even a minute later and fucking Vince walks in but I’m positive he didn’t see anything becasue if he did I wouldn’t be standing here right now and--.”
“Wait, stop,” Steven says, brows raised, finger pointed. “You made cupcakes and didn’t even bring any home?”
“Steven!” Izzy shrieks, startling the rest of the band. “How is that the only thing you picked up from the fucking story?”
“And that’s not even the worst fucking part,” Axl groans, hand tugging at his hair. As he swallows he can still feel the pressure of the blade on his jugular. “Vince held me at knifepoint.”
“He what?” Slash stands, eyes blazing.
“And you let him live?” Duff emphasizes, arms crossed.
“Well I wasn’t going to fight the dick,” Axl says, hands thrown in the air. “He had a switchblade on my throat, Duff. The only thing I was thinking about was getting out of there alive.”
“This is war,” Steven says, retrieving his own switchblade from his back pocket, finger gently sliding up the blade.
“Is Y/N okay?” Izzy asks, already have taken a liking to you.
Axl can only hope. “I have no idea. I don’t think he’d be stupid enough to hurt her again.”
“Wait,” Slash pauses. “What do you mean again?”
Fuck.
Pulling up a chair, Axl sits himself down, hands scrubbing over his face. “She came over last night because they got into an argument and he uh...he hit her.”
The atmosphere shifts. It’s more tense now as no one speaks. Jaws are clenched, teeth are bared, mouths are dry.
“I love her, man,” Axl says quietly, breaking the silence. The other four turn to him, faces softening. “I just want to be with her, you know? I want to hold her hand and kiss her cheeks, everything that Vince doesn’t. I want to protect her and love her the way she deserves. I know I can,” Axl sighs dejectedly, palms rubbing his knees. “I just don’t know what to do anymore. She won’t willingly leave him, and at first I didn't understand but now I do.”
“I don’t,” Duff mutters, voice low.
“I don’t want to give up but I'm out of options,” Axl says, head hanging. He’s defeated. “I mean, I’ve thought about her everyday for the last seven years. She’s been in my heart all this time.”
“Maybe you just have to take it slow,” Izzy suggests, lips in a thin line. “Be patient.”
A slow smile creeps onto Duff’s lips as he grabs the notepad and pencil from the coffee table. He begins to scribble a few words, erasing and rewriting, tuning out the conversation as he concentrates on making the words on the paper flow.
“What are you doing?” Steven directs to Duff, glancing over his shoulder.
Duff throws the pad to Axl before looking at Izzy and Slash. “Grab your acoustics. Hurry.”
They oblige and come back to the sofa quickly, sitting in a circle. Axl silently reads the words to himself, a tiny smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “Patience?”
Duff nods, tapping the guitar with his pick. “You used to write songs about her, man. If you can’t tell her directly how you feel, then sing it. Start slow, soft.” The blonde glances back to the two remaining guitarists. “Follow my lead.”
“Wait, what can I do?” Steven pouts.
“Be quiet and observe,” Izzy commands.
“Ready?” Duff asks, and Axl nods. “One, two, three, four…”
With music, Axl likes to get creative. He’s used to belting his songs, adding in a few wild screams for good measure, but this song in front of him? It’s special. It’s unlike anything he’s sung before.
To add his own twist to the song, he starts by whistling gently, and slowly but surely, the words, the emotions, come together, and with his bandmates, he creates a masterpiece.
~~~
They play it over and over until their fingers are sore, voices tired.
But each time sounds better than the last.
As Axl tosses the pad back on the table, he glances to his bandmates, a new sense of peace washing over him.
“If this doesn't make her fall in love with you, man,” Steven says. “I don’t know what will. It’s perfect.”
It is perfect.
Every lyric, every feeling poured into the song.
You would love it.
You just had to.
Because if not, he wouldn’t know what else to do.
“So, when do you want to perform it for her?” Slash asks excitedly, setting his guitar between his legs.
Axl smirks, leaning forward on his knees. “How fast can we get booked on MTV?”

Word Count: 3.5k
Note - this is still in the past. This is the last part before it jumps back into the present.
MASTERLIST
The next several weeks were spent in a sort of odd limbo, a flux of sorts that was hard to label. Almost everyone knew that was something was amiss, but no one chose to comment on it. There was an odd tension that hung in the air whenever Y/N and Roger were in the room together, a tension so thick you could have cut it even with the dullest of knives.
She had taken Roger back in the heat of the moment, while he kissed her and murmured all sorts of reassurances in her ear about how much he loved her. While his lips were on hers it had all seemed so believed and real - who would say they loved someone during such an intimate if they didn’t mean it?
But as soon as it was over, as soon as they laid under the sheets, letting slumber wash over them, a heaviness weighed on her heart and mind. She felt like a fool for taking him back after he had cheated on her for a second time, but she also couldn’t let him go. It was a weird feeling, and in her quiet moments she found herself wondering if she had made a mistake.
No - she pushed that thought to the back of her mind. She loved Roger and was willing to make it work with him. But at what cost?
Sighing lightly to herself, she looked around the rehearsal space, studying every nook and cranny of the small studio. She tried to her mind occupied as she waited for them to finish so they could all go out to dinner. Y/N had made it a point to come around less often to things the boys did together, trying to avoid awkward conversations. They would be able to smell the problem a mile away and she didn’t have any desire to bring on the Spanish Inquisition and be subjected to their grueling line of questioning.
But, such as these things went, she was only able to avoid them for so long before suspicions were raised and questions were asked. That’s how she found herself sitting and waiting for them to be finished with their session so they could sit through what was sure to be an uncomfortable dinner situation.
She listened intently to what they were playing, eyes raking over Brian’s willowy form as his face contorted with concentration. She had missed her intellectual, curly haired friend and the endless discussions they had. There was Freddie, singing his heart out, a smile plastered on his face as always. She missed his endless teasing, his sweet nature, how he always looked after her. And of course, there was John.
He was bouncing around, lightly dancing as he gracefully plucked the strings of his favorite bass, completely lost in the music. There was something so easy and effortless about him - he was perfect and didn’t even have to try. He was a kind, gentle soul, with a sharp edge, but he was her favorite, he always had been, he was her best friend after all. Or had been. They hadn’t exchanged much more than a few words in passing since she had left his apartment after Roger had cheated on her. There were a lot of unspoken words left between them and she wasn’t sure how to approach him; it killed her inside, but what was done was done.
Once she realized she had been starting, rather unabashedly at just him, she snapped out of her trance and tore her gaze away. Biting her lip, she chanced a look at Roger, who was intently watching her, a half frown on his otherwise soft features. Swallowing the lump in his throat, she chanced a half smile, but he quickly turned his blue eyes away, focusing on his drums instead.
“We’ll meet you guys there! I want to grab the table now,” Brian announced as he grabbed his jacket, flanked closely by Freddie.
“Are you ready?” Roger asked her, reaching for her hand as he started to follow Freddie. Spying John still packing up, she bit her lip and shook her head, “what’s wrong?”
“I think I’ve misplaced by purse. It’ll take me a few minutes to find it. Go ahead with Bri and Fred. I’ll catch you up,” she feigned, hoping he didn’t locate her purse which was in plain sight on the floor.
“Okay,” he said quietly, dropping her hand and regarding her curiously for a moment. He didn’t want to push the issue, an argument wasn’t what he desired by any means. Instead he pointedly glanced over at John before pressing a kiss to her cheek and heading after the others.
Clearing her throat, she padded over to where he was slowly putting his bass away. He tensed up, his grip on the neck tightening, knuckles almost white. But he didn’t push her away, a sign for her to go on.
“D-Deacy?” her voice was quiet, barely above a whisper as she reached out to gently touch his shoulder. He didn’t pull away, but instead made quick work of finishing his packing before taking a step back and looking at her. Letting out a small sigh, she gave him a small smile, “hi.”
“Hi,” he repeated quietly, his soft hazel eyes not leaving hers. He swallowed lightly, “what’s up?”
“I, ugh, just wanted to…” she trailed off, not quite sure where to start. Was she sorry, was she angry with him, was she going to profess her love? She felt so naked and vulnerable under his piercing gaze.
“Yes?” his tone was soft but there was still a biting edge to it. To anyone who knew him it was apparent he was trying to bit back a snappy remark - it was so different from how gentle he usually was to her. She opened and closed her mouth a few times, resembling a fish out of water, trying to find the right words, “well?”
“Never mind,” she blurted out, disheartened by how uninterested he appeared. She took a step back, ready to turn on her heel, and dart after Roger, but a strong hand on her arm stopped her. John let out a small sigh as he pulled her closer to him, “John, what are you doing?”
“Don’t go,” he insisted quietly. She closed her eyes and let out a shaky breath as she turned around to face him. They were close now, almost too close for comfort as they started at each other wordlessly. Gnawing on her lower lip almost hard enough to draw blood, she realized just how much she had missed him - his presence, his touch, his smell, everything.
“I thought you hated me,” she confessed, struggling to hold back her tears. She knew she should tell him everything; all her doubts and fears, her worries, Roger’s continued infidelity. He was her best friend after all, the only person who knew her better than herself.
But when it came to actually to actually facing him, she found herself frozen in fear. She didn’t want him to view her as the scared little girl who ran back to the same woman who had treated her badly. That was never like her - but he had always protected her over the years, but that was when she actually communicated with him. This was a new territory for me, a friendship that was broken and fractured, but still entwined with love.
“I thought you would know by now that I could never, ever hate you,” he mused quietly, his grip on her arm never wavering. She found a smile spreading on her face, a little crimson blush rising up in her cheeks, “I’m worried about you, love. That’s all. I just want you to open up to me as you always have. You’ve been so closed off now, and it’s been going on for a while.”
“I-I’m okay,” she lied, finding that the words rolled off of her tongue much easier than she had anticipated. She’d rehearsed this scenario, in many different ways, often in her mind. In those scenarios, she usually ended up breaking down and confessing everything to him, not closing herself off further, “it’s just...”
“It’s Roger, isn’t it?” he asked quietly, and she found herself frozen. He knew, but of course he knew. She weighed her options, flicking her eyes up to meet his. They had a sadness to them, not the bright sparkling quality they usually contained. She hung her head for a moment, nodding ever so slightly, confirming his suspicions, “ahhh, that’s what I thought. I don’t know why you couldn’t tell me sooner...”
“I-I don’t know either,” she admitted, awkwardly trying to avoid looking at him. She knew if she met his eyes she’d break down and cry completely, “I didn’t want to bother you. Besides, it’s my own...doing.”
“Has he h-hurt you at all?” he didn’t know what he’d do if he ever thought Roger had so much laid a finger on her. He’d probably kill him...the more he thought about, not probably, he would have.
“No, he’s never put a hand on me,” she confirmed and he let out a small sigh of relief. But he waited for her continue now, knowing that there was much more to this story than she was letting on, “it’s just...”
“Hmm?” he asked, and he subconsciously raised his to let his fingers ghost over her cheek. She could practically feel the heat radiating off of the calloused tips as she internally screamed for him to touch her more.
“I c-can’t tell you,” she finally said after a long moment of silence. He closed his eyes and tried to hide his frustration. John wished he knew what it was going to take to get her to open up.
“Can’t or won’t?” he mused and she shrugged her shoulders, disheartening him even further. He dropped his hand and took a step back from her, shaking his head in disappointment, ‘Y/N, my love, please, please, just open up to me. I’m not going to do anything, I just want to be here for you.”
“I know,” she reassured him, “it’s...I don’t even want to admit it to myself just yet. It’s so stupid, I realize. But I just had to tell you that I’m sorry for pushing you away. I’m sorry for not being here for you.”
“You can come to me day or night, with anything. I’ll always be there for you,” he reassured her. He was willing to wait for her for however long it took. He’d done plenty of waiting so far, almost two decades worth, and he was willing to wait longer. For her, he’d wait until he was the last man on earth. She gave him a soft smile, a bit of her old self was infused into it, and his heart fluttered a little bit.
“Thank you, John,” she said quietly, “Deacy. It feels weird calling you John.”
“That’s only for when I’m in trouble,” he joked, and for the first time in a long time, they shared a laugh, the sound echoing in the quiet room. He paused for a moment before whispering, almost inaudibly, “I love you.”
He had said those exact words to her a million times before, and she’d repeated them to him, but there was something different about those very same words today. It was almost like a confession; words that had been held back for so long finally bubbling to the surface.
“Y-you do?” she asked quietly, trying to comprehend the context.
“I do,” he confirmed, his face turning into a small smile, “I really love you. I-I’m in love with-”
“Y/N? John? What’s the hold up?” Roger tromped back into the studio, a confused look on his face. A few minutes had turned into a lot longer, and he grew suspicious. His own insecurities set him worrying that she might be doing something wrong. Although deep down, he knew that she’d never do anything to him. She was a lot of things, but unlike him, he knew she wouldn’t cheat on him. But her closeness with John still left a little doubt in his mind.
“S-sorry,” she stammered nervously, bending over and picking up her purse from its spot on the floor, “my purse was well hidden. He helped me find it, but I think we’re all ready to go now. Right, John?”
“R-right,” he agreed, giving her and Roger a large fake smile. Once again the perfect moment had been interrupted. He didn’t know how Y/N had felt about his confession, or if he should approach the issue again, but he remained silent and grabbed his jacket before trudging out of the room. Roger made it a point to take Y/N’s hand in his own, lacing his fingers though hers, hoping John would see. And he did.
“So, tell me my darling, where exactly having you been hiding?” as soon as there was a lull in the dinner conversation, which was tense at best, Freddie jumped on the opportunity to start grilling her. She almost dropped the fork that was halfway to her mouth, but quickly recovering and stuffed the food in her mouth. She made sure to chew the bite much longer than it was necessary, trying to avoid their prying eyes. Freddie knew exactly what she was doing and wasn’t about to have it, “you can chew for the next several days but I will still want an answer.”
Trying her best to avoid rolling her eyes, she swallowed the bite and took a swig of her drink to wash it all down. She knew he meant well, but she wasn’t exactly in the mood to delve into her and Roger’s private affairs. She was going to try her best to deflect any questions, hoping that vague answers would suffice.
“I was sick last for a while, and work’s been really busy. The ad agency’s been booming, and it’s really taking a lot of my time. It’s been wearing me down,” a simple, yet believable lie. And yet no one at the table believed her, because they knew better. Freddie and Brian exchanged curious glances with raised eyebrows, and Freddie just tutted at her. John did his best to avoid looking at any of their faces, instead focusing on the salt and pepper shakers.
Roger leaned back in the booth and put his arm around her, giving her a small squeeze. She’d given him the same lie for last several weeks, in the hopes of getting some alone time. And she did, she had a lot of alone time, sat at home thinking about everything. Roger had his own suspicions, but had the inkling that he was still in the doghouse so he didn’t push her.
“Work has been busy...” Freddie repeated slowly, mulling over the words, “now tell me, is that a good reason to cut off your friends? We’ve been besides ourselves without you, darling, especially poor John. He’s been even more quiet and reclusive than he normally he is!”
“I, ugh, I,” her eyes were wide as she exchanged a nervous glance with John who had peeled his away from the shakers for a mere moment to meet yours, “I’m sure you guys have been just fine. It’s not you lot, I swear, I really have just been busy. It’s nothing personal.”
“That sounds like something people say when it is personal,” he countered and she just shook her head, putting a smile on her face. It really wasn’t personal...not against them anyway, “darling-”
“There’s nothing going on Fred, seriously,” she cut him off, trying her best to end the conversation and get the prying eyes away from her, “I’ve just been busy and exhausted from work. Other people are entitled to be busy as well you know. You’ll just have to accept that everything is a big dramatic thing.”
“Y/N,” Roger said quietly, nudging her knee gently with his own. He could feel the tension rising and vowed to defuse the conversation as quickly as possible, “we can go leave if you’d like.”
She nodded swiftly before pushing the plate away from, ready to escape the conversation. Roger scooted out of the seat and offered her his hand, which she eagerly took. Before leaving she turned to the boys, giving them a small smile, “look, it’s not you guys. Seriously, things just have been busy. You’ll just have to accept that.”
“Maybe it’s not us who has to accept that,” Freddie shrugged his shoulder an cocked his head to the side, “maybe you’re trying to convince yourself. It’s just something to think about. We’ll always be here for you, once you’re ready.”
As they walked through the quiet evening streets, Roger held her hand, but keep a small distance between them. There was still a sort of odd energy radiating between them and he wasn’t quite sure to approach it.
“Love? Is everything okay?” he chanced quietly, and Y/N just responded with a curt nod. He gave her hand a small squeeze of reassurance, but when she didn’t respond, he stopped dead in his tracks, jerking her back as she continued on, “Y/N. Stop for a moment. Please just talk to me.”
“What is this about?” she pulled her hand from his and gave him an annoyed glance, “Roger, I’m really not in the mood to argue.”
“Then don’t argue, just listen to me,” he pinched the bridge of his nose, at the annoyed expression on her face, “you’ve been acting like I’ve had the plague ever since...you know. But there’s no reason to be annoyed with them. They didn’t do anything to you.”
“Since you know? Since you cheated on me for the second time?” her words were more bitter and harsh than she had anticipated, but it felt good to them off of her chest. He dropped her hand and bit the inside of his cheek, effectively saying yes, “look, I’m sorry for being rude to them, I will apologize. I also can’t just pretend that everything is perfect like it used to be.”
“Then what will it take for me to get you to forgive me?” there was a tone of desperation in his voice as his blue eyes wide with expectation, “what do you want me to do? How can I prove to you that I love?”
“I have forgiven you,” she sighed, unsure of who she was trying to convince more, herself or him, “and as far as other things go...just give me some time. I know you’re trying, Rog. It’s hard right now, I’m sure you can understand.”
“Does this have anything to do with John?” he asked suddenly, and she immediately tensed up. He could tell he had struck a nerve, “I know he’s your best friend. I can see the way he looks at you, or rather doesn’t. He practically stared holes into the table trying to avoid looking at you. And earlier-”
“John’s just my friend, Rog. You know that,” she hissed, glad for the cover of the night so he couldn’t see her crimson cheeks, “I hadn’t seen him in weeks, I was just saying hello to him.”
“If you’re sure,” he didn't sound convinced but decided to drop the subject, “I believe you. Look, can we just call this done and over with? I just want to go back to how things used to be.”
“Can they ever be like they used to be?”
“We can try,” he insisted quietly and she made no noise or movement, “Y/N. I love you, truly. I need you to tell me you know this.”
“I know,” was all she said before turning her back to him and walking off, without waiting for him to catch up to her. He caught up to her quickly and trailed behind her, wishing she’d turned around and repeat the words back to him. But she didn’t - not that night or any other night.
Neither of them knew at that point that in a few short weeks everything would come to a head. Neither of them knew that Roger would go back on his promises and break her heart for the third and final time.
Neither of them knew at that point that everything would be changing forever.

Badly summarizing my favorite GLAY MVs
Special Thanks A tiny edgelord with an infinite supply of beer, a baby, a beautiful tall man and a pouty child hop into a train illegally and become friends. The pouty dude breaks the tall man’s guitar so he yeets it off an abandoned building and they all leave together towards the sunset. Aqua snapchat filter.
Blue Jean The gang goes on vacation to the beach. Teru and Takuro play with a doggo and it’s very wholesome. Jiro takes pics and Hisashi goes fishing for the entire day only to catch one (1) tiny fish. They all meet up at night and set stuff on fire. Teru leaves the next day and Takuro chucks a rock at his jeep.
Fighting Spirit / Shitto G4 are secret tomb raider spies and they’re looking for an ancient artifact. Hisashi does some Hacking(tm) and finds where it is, but they’re followed by the mafia, who also wants the artifact. Jiro kills two men with a slingshot in an epic car chase scene. The boys then proceed to light a campfire moments later and laugh everything off. When they arrive at a cave and spot the artifact, Teru, in a very Teru fashion, takes it without even making sure it’s safe, but the gang is found by the mafia and held at gunpoint. Of course, by removing the artifact, Teru accidentally awakened a deadly monster with Freddy Krueger hands who violently kills all the goons and tries to go after the boys, but they defeat it with the power of teamwork, friendship and raw badassery. Then they go back home and become famous.
Haru made wa Teru makes drawings that glow in the dark. They are very pretty.
I LOVE YOU wo sagashiteru Everyone is depressed. Teru sits on the ground sulking, Takuro is lying down on the edge of a building while staring at a feather, Jiro is taking pictures of empty chairs and Hisashi is being Hisashi. Jiro looks Very Sad and pouty but he keeps on taking pictures of chairs anyway. Teru SCREAMS his lungs out in despair and it’s very poetic. A floating chandelier suddenly turns on and all the members begin playing under it. Teru has A Moment.

See What a Fool I’ve Been - Part Three
Brian May x Female!Reader
Part One | Part Two
A/N: Hey, everyone! I’m sorry for my inconsistent updates of this fic, I’ve been having trouble writing this particular fic but I’m getting there! The next part will be the final part, so please stay tuned! Thank you all so much for the love and support on my last two posts, you guys rock! As always, feedback is very much appreciated! Much love! -m:)
Summary: Being friends with John Deacon meant being friends with his band mates. This blossoming group of best buds seems logical until Brian realizes he may like you more than a friend. Unfortunately, your oblivious nature and Roger’s constant cock-blocking spells trouble for Brian and the romantic feelings he harbors for you. Young love isn’t always as fun as the movies make it seem.
Word Count: 1,327 words (sorry it’s so short!)
Warnings: cursing
Tumblr media
Brian audibly groaned as the white streaks of sunlight pouring through his curtains temporarily blinded his tired eyes. He pressed on both eyes with the pads of his thumb and pointer finger, attempting to rub the sleep from them. His feet felt cold, looking down he noticed they were hanging off of the bed uncovered, typical. He threw the duvet from his body and onto the floor which was littered with dirty clothes and books, very out of character for neat freak, Brian May. His long legs felt heavy as he attempted to swing them over the side of his mattress and when he managed to do so, a dull ache reverberated throughout his muscles. He grimaced, sitting up with the assistance of his also very sore arms. Taking a quick glance of the condition of his room, he sighed and buried his face in his hands. The past few weeks had been tough, and Brian’s room was suffering as a result. He hadn’t really tidied since he met you a little over a month ago and the idea of what could be living among the mess caused a shiver to climb Brian’s spine. Nevertheless, he pushed himself from the bed; his legs still screaming in pain. The band had had a gig the night before and while the aches the day after hurt, having to watch Roger continue to butter you up after every gig hurt even more. You’d been to a total of four gigs now, the flames of jealousy in Brian’s chest only growing after each. Roger was determined, and Brian envied his persistence, especially since you’d seemingly shot him down every time he’d hinted to the idea of something more. Whether you were truly rejecting him or obliviously playing along, thinking Roger’s sly remarks were merely compliments, Brian didn’t know. What he did know was that he didn’t like it, at all. He felt a welcome sense of relief wash over him when he remembered there was no gig and he’d be able to exist in peace without the constant reminder that you weren’t his, you’d never be his, and that you would inevitably end up shagging Roger. He opened the door to his room and furrowed his brow when he wasn’t bombarded by the screams and vivacious laughs of his roommates. Instead, they were all sat at various points in the room either eating, reading, or both. Brian gave the three a friendly wave as he wordlessly poured himself a cup of coffee.
“Morning, Bri.” Freddie said behind his newspaper, yawning obnoxiously right after. Brian hummed in acknowledgement, taking a sip of his coffee and appreciating the warmth it brought to his cold limbs. The unfamiliar, but welcome, quiet was interrupted by Roger who saw it appropriate to begin stirring the pot.
“It’s a shame we don’t have a gig this weekend. Was so looking forward to seeing Y/N.” He said, smirking as he doodled with a blue pen onto the back of a napkin. Brian inhaled deeply and rolled his eyes, annoyed Roger found it necessary to get everyone riled up this early in the morning. John peered at Roger from behind a magazine, sneering at him.
“Rog, can you please keep it in your pants? She’s my friend, and I’d appreciate it if you’d stop dropping us hints about how much you’d like to get in her pants.” John said, rolling his own grey eyes and focusing back on that month’s issue of Rolling Stone. Roger laughed but didn’t look up, extremely focused on his drawing of what Brian assumed, from his view, was a dog.
“C’mon, Deaks! I get that she’s your friend and all, but you can’t deny she’s fit.” Roger said smugly, grinning from ear to ear with a cockiness that made Brian nauseous.
“Yeah, Rog. I can see that, I have eyes, but all I’m asking is that you not discuss your sexual fantasies involving her with the lot of us.” John said, huffing out an exasperated breath. Roger sat back, disgustingly smug. He shrugged and crossed one leg over the other.
“Can’t help it. I mean, she’s a total babe. Nice tits, and not to mention her bum. I’ll tell ya, I’d like to- “
“Stop talking about her like that.” Brian hissed from the other side of the room, absolutely seething. Roger turned to him, still smug, and gave him a challenging glare.
“What’s your problem, Bri? Are you mad you haven’t got the gall to try and get into her knickers?” He said, smirking as he tapped his fingers on the arm of the couch. Freddie’s eyes widened, and John was still shocked Brian was brave enough to even attempt to call out Roger. Brian set down his cup of coffee and crossed his arms over his chest, his full weight shifting onto his left leg. He huffed, growing angry and feeling slightly flustered. Roger tilted his head with both eyebrows raised, awaiting his reply.
“No, Rog, it’s not that. Just think you should have some respect. You’re being a proper dick right now.” Brian said simply, furrowing his brows Roger’s way. Roger’s face and chest grew red, his reputation of flying off the handle on the brink of being on full display. He scoffed, shaking his head.
“No, Bri. I just think you’re just chapped because I’m not afraid to go after what I want. You envy me.” Roger spit, shifting in his seat to face Brian. Freddie and John were stunned. Arguments among them were always lighthearted, this seemed malicious. Brian laughed in disbelief, shaking his head, curls bouncing softly.
“Envy you? Sure, Rog, if that helps you sleep at night.” Brian said, dismissively waving a hand as he turned to pour himself more coffee, already wanting this conversation to end. Roger was angry now; he didn't like being shamed, especially from the likes of Brian.
“What the fuck is your problem, May? So, what if I want to shag her? What does it matter to you?”
“Cuz’ I fancy her, alright!” Brian shouted, breathing shaky and fists clenched. The room fell silent and Brian witnessed a rare emotion for Roger cross his face, regret. Only for a moment though, as Roger’s trademark smirk soon returned to its usual position in mere seconds. He leant back on the couch and reached for a cigarette on the stool beside him.
“Well, you’re shit at showing it.” Roger mumbled, lighting the cigarette hung loosely between his lips. Brian’s shoulders relaxed but he grew confused.
“What?” Brian asked, his eyebrows still drawn together. Roger huffed and sat up.
“Brian, you may be an astrophysicist, but you truly are daft. If you would have made an effort to show me you fancied her, I would have backed off. I’m not a complete asshole.” Roger said, puffing on his cigarette.
“News to me.” Freddie mumbled, and John laughed into his hand. Roger promptly flicked him off and all attention was back to Brian, who was still a bit shocked to say the least. Roger sighed frustrated, already reaching for a second cigarette.
“Brian, just grow a pair and go get her. Nothing’s stopping you now.” He said, returning his concentration back to drawing. Brian felt relief flood his chest and a breathy laugh escaped him. He ran to the coat rack, fishing for his jacket and pulling it over his lithe frame. Brian turned to the three men, giving Roger a nod which he returned with a playful eye roll and smile. Brian got to work on the lock of the door, flinging it open. John sat up in his chair, his arms supporting his weight.
“You break her heart and your ass is mine, May!” John called as Brian stumbled out of the door, giving John a thumbs up through the opening before it shut. The remaining three all relaxed in their seats, the previous tension in the room now dissipating.
“This is definitely not how I imagined my morning going.” Freddie stated from his seat and John nodded in solemn agreement, burying his face in a pillow beside him.

SHAZAM MOVIE REVIEW
Tumblr media
SPOILER   ALERT
Well this is new. Since when did DC decide to go on a more light-hearted tone hmmn?Maybe they're trying to become more like marvel and they are doing it better. Yes I here you marvel fans shouting a mile away for my blood but seriously come on. You got to accept that an average standalone DC movie is better than an average marvel Movie.
PLOT
In 1974 Upstate New York, while playing with his Magic 8-Ball, a young Thaddeus Sivana is magically transported to the Rock of Eternity, where he meets the wizard Shazam, who introduces him to the mystical statues containing the spirits of the Seven Deadly Sins: Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth. The last of a council of seven, Shazam spent centuries searching for a new champion. Put to a test to see if he is pure of heart, Sivana attempts to touch the Eye of Envy, failing the test. When he is transported back to the car, he causes a scene when he tries to go back, causing an accident that injures his father.
In present-day Philadelphia, Billy Batson is arrested by child services after he lures and traps police officers to assist in his search for his mother. He is adopted by the Vasquez's, and he shares a room with Freddy Freeman, a paraplegic. Meanwhile, using testimonies by those rejected by Shazam, Sivana returns to the Rock of Eternity and frees the Sins, allowing them to use his body as a vessel to escape. With his power, he kills his father and brother for the abuse he suffered as a child.
While at school, Freddy is bullied by a group of kids. Billy intervenes and flees onto the subway, where he is summoned by Shazam, who tells him of one who used his powers for evil. Billy promises he uses his powers for good, and Shazam has Billy grab his staff and say, "Shazam!", which transforms Billy into an adult with multiple superpowers. With Freddy's help, Billy begins to learn the full extent of those powers.
Tumblr media
 Freddy posts videos of Shazam’s powers, which go viral. However, after Freddy claims to know Shazam at school, he and Billy get into an argument at the dinner table over Freddy using Billy for his newfound powers. Billy begins to skip school to enjoy being Shazam, humiliating Freddy. Shazam accidentally causes a bus to fall off a bridge before saving it, causing Freddy to promptly reprimand him for abusing his powers. Upon seeing Shazam on the news, Sivana attacks him. Shazam is easily defeated, but he transforms back into Billy to blend into the fleeing crowd. However, Sivana captures Freddy, who was looking for Billy.
Billy's siblings realize that he is Shazam, and they reveal that they found his mother. Billy runs from home and meets his mother, who reveals she abandoned him because she could not take care of him as well as the police could. After leaving his mother, Billy receives a call from Sivana, who has arrived at the Vasquez's home to find him. Upon Shazam returning home, Sivana threatens Billy's siblings for Shazam's powers. When Shazam agrees, Sivana takes him to the Rock of Eternity. Billy's siblings follow them there. During the ceremony, Freddy wounds Sivana, giving Shazam time to escape and causing them to realize that without the Sins, Sivana is a normal man.
Sivana corners the family at a carnival, where the Sins threaten to kill Billy's siblings if Shazam does not give his powers. However, Shazam uses the staff to split the power among his siblings, causing them to also become adult superheroes with powers. Shazam manages to defeat Sivana by taunting the final Sin, Envy, to leave Sivana before saving him. Using Sivana, Shazam takes control of the Eye of Envy, enabling him to contain the spirits. The group is considered as superheroes in the city, and Billy accepts the Vasquez's as his family. Billy shows up at school as Shazam to endorse Freddy before revealing that he brought a friend: Superman.
CREDITS SCENES
Over the credits, Billy is revealed to have joined the Justice League. In a mid-credits scene, Sivana, in his jail cell drawing multiple symbols across its walls, is interrupted by Mister Mind, having previously been imprisoned at the Rock of Eternity, who tells him of the pillars of evil that will come together and that they will rule the seven realms. In a post-credits scene, Freddy tests whether Billy can talk to fish, citing Aquaman, only for Billy to dismiss the power as stupid.
THOUGHTS
What i noticed immedietly was that it is what you expected but also the complete opposite. A big number of people (including myself ) went in there expecting a light-hearted superhero comedy and it is that, at least when the movie focuses on Shazam aka Billy Batson. The other part of the movie focuses on the antagonist Dr Sivana. And OH BOY it was CRAZY. I would like a supernatural horror thriller focused on Dr Sivana. Hey why not? If the trench from aquaman can get a movie of its own  why not someone who controlled the literal embodiments of evil from the bible?
So any way I like the moments between Billy and Freddy and how they test out Shazam's powers. Though i like Dr Sivanna's story he felt too comical. I mean come on he IS a comic book villan but then again look at Killmonger From Black Panther.
Tumblr media
 But you would still like him though. Any way like all superhero movies Billy defeats Sivana with the help of his loved ones or 'Family'. Me personally I think its fine but it's too corny. But hey, if it means more Shazams running around then I'm fine. And THEN in the end he has a big MAN OF STEEL THEMED FIGHT with Dr Sivanna and it honestly so amazing that I want to give it a a solid 10/10 but compared to other great movies of the decade its only above average.
I GIVE IT...  -  8.2/10

Scooby Doo: Monster Menagerie Chpt. 8
Description:  Mystery Inc. finds a secret while Sibella confesses something to her friends.
Scooby Doo: Monster Menagerie
Chapter 8: Using Your Noodle
When one observes a class called "Mad Science", one must always expect the unexpected. After all, creating life as if you were God already crosses the boundaries of ethics and morals, regardless of what you do with your abilities. It can't be blamed too badly in this context, however. Monsters learn differently, it seems, and if a perversion of science is what helps them with their education, far be it from Velma to judge them. With that being said...
"Do you suppose those are human brains..?" She asked the detective quietly, leaning towards him as her eyes remained glued to the lesson. The reason she asked wasn't because she was unsure if they were really human brains, of course. She was smart enough to know they were in fact real. She had merely asked out of sick curiosity, a second question forming in her brain to ask later. 'Where did they get them in the first place?' Miss Grimwood had assigned the girls to create something with their given specimens. Before the class ended, they would show off their projects and allow everyone to see what they had created. A gruesome and macabre project to be sure, even if it was quite creative.
The creepy detective had his notebook open, eyes quickly moving from his pages back up to the girls working before darting back down, his hand continuously scrawling numerous diagrams and words on his pages in vast interest. Upon being asked by the bookworm about the authenticity of the brains, his hand stopped for a little so he could move his eyes over at her. His already wide grin formed into a toothy smile, letting out a couple of dark chuckles before moving back to his notebook. Velma whispered a small "Jinkies..!" to herself, definitely freaked out by both the detective's answer and what was going on in front of her.
Elsa, naturally, had taken to the project like a fish to water. It wouldn't be long before she examined her given brain, using measuring tools to determine the size of it. After quick measurements, the Frankenteen had decided to dissect it, using a scalpel to cut the brain in a state that showed off the two hemispheres so she could examine the insides for closer inspection. Once she determined that the brain itself was quite healthy, she began to sew it back up, not unlike how her own stitches were. Using various sized wires and plugs, she would route some sort of system, connecting various regions to each other. After that, she gently held the wired organ, moving over to a miniature tesla coil. With one hand gently cradling her 'invention', the other one reached out, a finger extended. A bright flash of electricity would quickly form to Elsa's finger. While it didn't seem to effect her, the electricity also inducted into the brain, making it shudder and smoke some. After a couple of minutes, she removed her hand and let the brain rest on her work table, moving around to scrounge for something else. Of course, everyone was quite interested in what she was doing, even if they had their own project to take care of. Eventually, she'd wire an old telegram up to the brain, making sure it was in working order. In no time, the telegram went to work, beeping out a message in morse code. Elsa, as well as the detective made sure to quickly jot down the message it was rapidly putting out.
.- ... . .-. . / .- - / .. / - ... / -. - -.. / .- ... -.- / -.-. .- -. .-. - / .. / ... . . / - .-. / ..-. . . .-.. / .- -. -.- - ... .. -. -. / .- ... .- - .-. ... / -. - .. -. -. / - -.
The message would continue on in the same manner, beeping out into the classroom. While the detective began to translate the messages, Velma's eyes continued to scan over the other students' handiwork. For Sibella, her project would have similarities to Elsa's, although instead of wiring, her brain would be connected with clear surgical tubing. Carefully using a syringe, she would inject blood into it, simulating a blood stream into the organ. Oddly enough, the brain seemed to react a lot like a heart would, in that it would begin to pulsate somewhat, steadily keeping the blood going. Velma had no idea how this was possible, but found it better to not ask questions about this sort of ordeal.
Phanty, for the most part, seemed to be shoving various bits of metal into the brain in front of hers, with seemingly no goal in mind. It was quite weird and disturbing to watch her prod around with a metal fork in a region of the brain before shoving what looked like a long metal pin into it, connecting numerous wires from each pin to one another in a haphazard manner. Whatever the reason, it managed to make... something happen. Holding up two fingers on each hand, she'd reach down at the brain and begin prodding at each different part of the brain. Somehow, the vibrations of it elicited a weird noise, almost like a garbled, echo-y squish. Rubbing her fingers along it would change the pitch of the odd noise. Soon, Phantasma was playing her own little brain theremin concerto, giggling wildly to herself. This got the attention of everyone else, the detective even stopping his scrawling to stare at the odd scene.
"...okay, now I want to know how this all works," Velma murmured to herself, hand resting on her chin as she saw the detective draw a diagram of the brain theremin. The only thing close to words on the page would be numerous question marks.
Tanis, thankfully, did something that made slightly more sense than whatever the phantom was doing. Any pins and wiring that would be connected into the brain would be much more organized. Unlike the phantom, though, the mummy girl pushed two old fashioned glass tubes into either side of the brain, making sure to connect them. After figuring out how to connect an alarm clock to the front (with the help of Elsa), she would soon succeed in making something like a potato clock, only instead of a potato, it was a brain.
Winnie, for the most part, looked very unsure as to what to do with her brain. She never felt like the creative kind, so for half of the period, she would be nudging and poking the squishy membrane with a claw in a bored manner. At one point, she had connected a single wire into an area of the brain, connecting the wire into a switch and flicking it on and off, watching the current shoot through the brain and watching it react. After the third or fourth time of doing this, her eyes lit up as an idea hit her. With a scalpel in hand, she began to cut various lines throughout the brain, pushing in more wiring and connecting it to the switch. Near the end of the period, she had created what looked like a weird brain flower that would fold and move like a kinetic sculpture when she flipped the switch.
Miss Grimwood was quite impressed with what everyone came up with, praising their work as she had them put them upon a shelf for display purposes. As the detective continued to scrawl in his notebook, his smile still as wide as the day is long, Velma walked over to Elsa, making sure that the telegram was properly set up so it wouldn't fall off the shelf. "That's... quite a creation you made, Elsa," She began, trying her best to put on a polite and not at all creeped out smile.
The flesh golem girl flashed a sheepish smile at her, shrugging. "Thanks for saying so, Velma. Truth be told, I didn't really know what else to do with it."
As morse code beeped out continuously, Velma nodded and looked at the brain. "I know it's not my place to say so, but doesn't it seem a little... inhumane to keep them alive like that?"
Elsa shrugged, nonphased by such a notion. "Perhaps, though it's not like they're connected to anyone anymore. No pain receptors of any sort." She pointed at her project and continued to explain through the morse code. "You see, I connected spasms created from the hippocampus, so it can communicate with it's past memories. It can't hear or learn anything new, though, so it's only going through confused repetition at this point, I believe." Her explanations were slow and methodical, a hint of pride in her own work. "Don't worry, if it gets too annoying to deal with, I'll just disconnect the telegram."
Velma blinked at how nonchalant Elsa was about this whole thing. She supposed that the more you're around the macabre and weird, the more used to it you get. Her eyes drifted towards the other brains... and then to the detective. She looked back at Elsa and nodded a little. "I see. Well, I won't keep you from your next class," She ended with a small smile, which her friend returned before heading to the other side of the room with her friends.
As Velma walked back towards the exit, the detective shut his book and put his pencil into his pocket, walking with her. "Well that was quite interesting, yes?" He asked her curiously.
"Definitely interesting," She replied, feeling unsure if that was a good thing or not. To help get her mind off of the weird scene, she looked back at the detective. "Come on, let's see if the others have made any progress in finding a secret entrance anywhere yet."
________________________________
"Have we checked under the stairs yet? Maybe there's a hidden cupboard or something."
"Like, sorry, no hidden rooms there."
"Check under creaky stairs, then! There has to be something under one of those, right?"
"No ruck rith the rug..."
The group of five had been searching around the foyer for the entire hour, slowly growing more and more frustrated with their lack of findings. Freddie was leaning against the stairwell, scratching the back of his head as he looked around the room in confusion. Googie was sitting on the stairs themselves, doing the same as Shaggy felt around the side, looking closely for hidden doors. Daphne and Scooby were finishing up pulling a rug back into place after having looked underneath it.
"Maybe there just isn't any secret passageways around here," The redhead sighed, shaking her head and putting her hands on her hips.
"There are still plenty of other places to search, at least," Freddie continued, looking thoughtful as he rested his chin in his hand. "I could've sworn there would've been some sort of secret room here, though. The two largest rooms in the building and nothing!"
Shaggy stood straight up, stretching a little after having spent the last few minutes crawling on the ground. "Like, I dunno about you guys, but I think it's time we took a little break. We've been at this for, like, a good couple of hours," He sighed, leaning against the rounded top of the newel. As he did so, though, his hand pushed against the top, making it open up, in a sense. Because of this, the lanky man lost his balance and stumbled forward, gripping onto the post for support. "Zoinks! Hey, like, what's this?"
The others moved over to where Shaggy stood, surprised with the sudden development. Like a hidden compartment of sorts, hidden underneath the round post was a small hook with a single, small key. Etched into the wood near the hook was a symbol, that could best be described as a spiral with a single line going through it. Googie helped Shaggy stand to his feet as Fred gathered the key, a big happy grin forming on his face. "Alright, progress! Great find, Shag!"
"Now all we have to do is figure out where that key goes to, right?" Googie asked, looking over to the other blond, who nodded.
"Does that mean we'll have to search through the whole school again?" Daphne asked, raising an eyebrow. The thought of going on a wild goose chase for a key hole that may or may not even be located inside the house did not thrill the red head any more than it did looking for a secret in the first place. Still, it was nice to have actually found something.
"We may need to, Daph," Fred explained, still keeping the key in his hand, not wanting to lose it.
"Rucky rind, Raggy!" Scooby barked, looking up at his tall friend, who chuckled and started to scratch his head. Soon enough, Velma and the detective came walking to the huddled group, having just left the laboratory. Both of them quite curious as to what they had just discovered.
"I take it you all found something of interest?" Velma asked, a smile on her face as she looked in to see the new clue. Freddie presented the key proudly, beaming as his friend exclaimed out, "Jinkies! How'd you all find that?"
"Shaggy over here knocked over a stair post and revealed it to us," Googie explained, pointing over to the newel, which was still opened up. Velma examined it, fixing her glasses a little as she inspected the symbol inside.
"Do you think that could be a clue to where the key goes?" Daphne asked, watching as the detective soon scribbled down the drawing on a blank page in his notebook.
"Could be..." Velma mused, moving to shut the newel back. Who knows if they were even supposed to find this in the first place? Best to keep their discoveries as conspicuous as possible.
"Like, I wonder how long we'll have to look to find out where that key goes?" Shaggy asked, already feeling mentally exhausted just thinking about it. After all, the building was indeed quite big, and searching through every nook and cranny for a little keyhole sounded like a daunting task.
"We probably won't have to look too far," The detective added, his smile seeming to grow as he formed an idea. "I believe I've seen that symbol before." The others looked at him expectantly, though instead of immediately explaining to them, he began to walk back into the living room, curling a finger to have them follow. After sharing a quick glance to each other, they followed.
Soon, the group of investigators were standing in front of a bookshelf, the weird man's finger soon scanning over each book spine. After a few seconds, he pulled out a rather thick, worn green leather bound book. "Look here, on the cover," He said, pointing to the front. Embossed on it was a similar pattern, a title written in a different language.
"Woah! Is there anything in there?" Googie asked curiously, tilting her head. Soon, he began to flip through the pages of the book, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Velma and Daphne, meanwhile, began to look over the bookshelf again, checking it out to see if there was anything hidden.
"...hm, nothing unusual besides the language written..." The detective tutted, shutting the book, his smile lessening considerably.
"Hey guys, check this out! I think I see something," Daphne called. The group was soon back to the shelf, Velma starting to carefully pull books out of the shelf and setting them to the side. Behind the books would be a very small key hole, hidden from view by all of the strange books in place.
"Now we're getting somewhere! C'mon gang, let's see what'll happen," Freddie began, holding the key out and extending his arm into the shelf. Shaggy gulped, looking about as nervous as his dog was.
"Like, careful Freddie! There might be a reason why the keyhole and it's key was hidden away!" Scooby concurred, nodding as he hid behind his tall friend.
"Relax, Shaggy. I doubt that if anything were alive in there, it'd still be alive," Googie reassured, patting his shoulder gently. Velma however, thought aloud with a hand on her chin.
"Not necessarily, Googie. Rats, bats, snakes, spiders, and all sorts of insects could be living in a closed off room for years without being discovered..." The strawberry blonde turned to Velma, scowling a little, but obviously unnerved.
"...thanks, Velma," She muttered, making sure to stick close to the even more shaken foodie, who was also not fond of running to a large group of rats or snakes. Before he could make any sort of protest though, a loud click was heard. Freddie had turned the key into the hole, quickly stepping back as even more, smaller clicking noises emitted from somewhere behind the shelf.
The gang waited out the noise, some sort of machination working and moving around, hidden somewhere underneath the floorboards. Soon enough, the floor stopped it's clicking as the book shelf slowly opened outwards. Freddie and Shaggy helped tug the shelf out more, being careful not to do it too quickly so the books wouldn't fly out. Everyone gazed inside, seeing another small, stone staircase leading downwards into a very dark room. A few roaches spilled out from the cracks of the wall, skittering out into the room and hiding away. Scooby and Shaggy let out an audible shudder. Googie looked between everyone as a cold chill from the unknown room below spilled out onto the group. "So uh... who wants to go first?"
Without hesitating, the detective began his descent down into the room, not saying a word. The others gulped as Daphne pulled out her phone, quickly utilizing it's built in flashlight. "If we're gonna explore it, might as well be able to see..." The others soon followed her lead, slowly following their strange new companion. Daphne, of course, stuck to Freddie's side, while Velma, Scooby, Googie, and Shaggy moved closely as one group.
They all soon reached the bottom, everyone shivering lightly from how surprisingly cold the room felt. They flashed their lights in different directions, taking in what they saw. Along the walls of the room were gas lamps, dusted and covered in cobwebs after years of not being used. None of them were even sure if this place had gas. On the floor, covering all three walls were more bookshelves, although instead of reaching up to the ceiling, they reached up to about their hips. They were also quite dusty, although there were also numerous instruments that looked like they could have been used for witchcraft. A mortar and pestle, an opened spell book, various runes scattered about, a deck of tarot cards left out in the open, and a cracked crystal ball were some of the few items laying around.
"Jinkies! This must've been a secret room used for spells and potion work. The question is, why was it hidden away..." Velma said, eyes wide in surprise as Shaggy and Scooby shook in place, hoping that nothing would jump out at them.
Freddie and Daphne watched the detective in front of them, as he was just standing in the middle, not moving an inch. "Hey, are you okay?" Freddie asked, flashing his light to the back of his head. The man slowly tilted his head towards them, eyes wide as usual, grin as big as it can be.
"I believe we've found a lead. Take a look downwards."
In their haste to glance around at the walls, they had all neglected to look downwards. When they all did so, they all gasped exclaimed in surprised. In the middle of the room, drawn in some form of dark colored chalk or paint was a summoning circle.

Sibella's eyes never wavered from the blackboard in front of her as Miss Grimwood kept up her explanation of calculus basics. While the same definitely couldn't be said for her werewolf friend, who was just about ready to fall forwards and pass out from boredom, the vampire's mind was elsewhere. While she would've preferred it to stay focused on the lesson at hand, she found it quite difficult to ignore the thoughts in her mind.
The reason being because of the fact that her dreams were plagued with fire, as it was the night before she left for Grimwood's. Fire, evil laughter, screaming... and the worse part of it was that half of the time, she would've even be able to see anything, which was quite unusual for a dream. Figments that were not visible, but were audibly quite real. It also didn't help that she could almost feel the flames engulfing her body. To make matters even worse, it was mixed in with the sensation of being stabbed and sliced by what felt like waves of knives. It took most of her willpower to not immediately start screaming as she finally managed to wake herself up. A quick glance over her body afterwards confirmed that she was not injured. Not physically, anyways. It was not normal for her dreams to feel so... real.
"...-bella? Sibella, did you hear me?"
For what seemed to be the first time in a few minutes, she blinked, the voice of her teacher bringing her back into the conscious world. The first thing she would process was the fact Miss Grimwood was staring at her, arms crossed as she had a stern, yet patient, look on her face. Apparently, she had asked a question and expected the vampire to be quick to answer, as she usually was. Either that or she finally took notice of her eyes glossed over, lost in thought.
A quick glance around the room would reveal that the other students were curious about Sibella's silence. Usually, with her answers, she'd be helping everyone understand the material better, or at least be able to follow along. Even Winnie seemed a little more alert by not having her daze snapped out of by Sibella's explanations of mathematics. Naturally, being ever the graceful one, she quickly composed herself, clearing her throat and answering as if nothing was wrong. "Ah, pardon me, Miss Grimwood. I believed I zoned out a little. Been awhile since I've last had sustenance, you see," She explained calmly. She felt like it wouldn't be wise to make anyone nervous about her dreams, though. At least not yet. Sibella thought that if they persisted, she would come forward about them.
Miss Grimwood raised an eyebrow, finding her answer somewhat satisfactory as she smiled and continued her lesson. "Well, lunch is after this class, so we'll be sure to find something for you. Until then, could you answer the question on the board?"
Sibella nodded and provided the answer, almost effortlessly. With that, the lesson continued, the vampire finding her focus working back towards the lesson. The other girls, while turning back, would now begin to worry for their friend. It was definitely not like Sibella to act like that, even when she hadn't had blood lately. There was something wrong, and it didn't seem like she wanted to let them know about it just yet. A silent gaze shared between the other four let them all know that they'd have to ask about it when they had private time.
________________________________________________
The investigation team couldn't help but stare downwards at the circle for awhile. Inside the circle, besides the odd detective, was a star, drawn in to match that of a pentagram. Unreadable symbols were also around the circumference, though oddly enough, there weren't any candles. A closer look from the team brainiac, however, saw small circles, possibly made from wax. If there were any candles, who ever set them there had removed them.
"Jeepers! Does this mean..?" Daphne exclaimed, trailing off her sentence. She honestly hoped that it wasn't something satanic, but with a slow nod from the ever grinning man, everyone would become quite shocked.
"Zoinks..! Like, do you suppose whatever was brought in is still lurking around?" Shaggy nervously asked, holding his scared dog in his arms as usual.
"Relax, guys, I don't think it's still here. At least, I hope not," Velma added, fixing her glasses and bending to the ground to get a better look at the circle. The detective and Freddie had done the same thing, both of them gently rubbing their finger along it.
"Jeez... this feels kinda sticky. It's also kinda... metallic. Is this...?" Freddie began, his eyes widening in fear of what he was touching. The detective nodded once more, sniffing his own fingers for confirmation.
"Blood. A thick amount of it too. Not surprising, since it's so cold," He said in his usual low voice, eyeing over the pattern of it all, almost appreciating it. Googie couldn't but imagine him putting his fingers to his mouth, tasting it. That nauseated her and decided to think of something else.
"Can you tell if it's... human?" She asked, starting to eye over her body a little, just in case whoever drew the circle happened to take it from her. Thankfully, she saw no scars or needle holes. Still, the case of where the blood even came from was still something that she felt like she needed to know.
The man glanced up and merely shrugged. "Googie, was it? Most blood smells the same. Whoever did this could've used any nearby wildlife. Wherever they got the blood, they did an amazing job with what they were doing..." He trailed off, giving the pentagram another admirable look before standing. A couple rolled their eyes, everyone slightly creeped out by his comment.
"Do you think we should let someone know?" Daphne pondered, using her phone flashlight to take another quick look around. "Even for a place like this, I doubt this is normal."
"Would it be wise to point this place out to the ghouls, or even Miss Grimwood?" Velma thought aloud, turning to look to her red-headed friend. "After all, whoever hid the key away did a pretty good job of making sure this room wouldn't be found. What if we tip off the culprit on accident and they make sure to keep the key hidden next time?"
Everyone shared an uncomfortable look, the detective raising an eyebrow at this. "Velma, are you implying that... this was the work of a student?" Freddie asked, looking perplexed. However, before she could answer, a different voice interjected into the conversation.
"Like, hold on a second! There's no way any of the girls did this." Shaggy's nervous waver was still present in his voice, although it was taking a back seat to his slight indignation. "I've, like, known these girls longer than anyone else here, man. While they do like a bunch of freaky, weird stuff, they, like, wouldn't ever consider something like this!" It somewhat surprised everyone to see Shaggy show his support in such an assertive manner (well, assertive for Shaggy, at least). His dog, still clinging onto his neck, nodding in support.
The others looked somewhat embarrassed, the thought of accusing those that they considered their friends to be in on this. After all, he did help stop an evil witch from brainwashing his students. The chances of one of them committing a heinous, Satanic ritual were slim to none.
To the detective, though, he merely shrugged again, starting to move closer to the group, out of the circle. "We can never be too sure, Shaggy. The circle isn't that old, and unless someone's been breaking into the school to commit a ritual..." He trailed off, eyeing everyone over with his wide eyes. They stopped on Shaggy, who looked like he was about to say something else, almost looking insulted. "But, as they say in court, innocent until proven guilty. The only conclusion we can draw from this is that someone's been busy."
When no one seemed to have anything else to add, the man kept walking towards the stairs. "In the meantime, I do believe the hour's almost up. Let's get out of here before anyone sees this place. Best to keep crime scenes as pristine as we saw it in, yes?" He continued, flashing his creepy grin at the group before heading up.
Everyone followed after, thinking about what he had said. It was certainly hard to digest that anyone in this school could consider doing such a thing. There were various factors, though, and none of them knew what they all were as of right now. Until then, they'd have to keep searching around the grounds, gathering information from the students if they could.

Lunch today seemed to consist of a type of chili, though strangely enough, this would probably be their quietest meal time today. No one seemed to have much to talk about, the most common sound being heard was Shaggy and Scooby's noisy eating. At times, someone would ask another a simple question about the day or some random tidbit of information, but for the most part, everyone stayed silent. Mystery Inc. would bet thinking about where to investigate next, deciding to keep their discovery a secret from the ghouls for the time being. The detective was always naturally quiet, so it wasn't that unusual.
Sibella's thoughts began to wonder how and when to explain to her friends about her dreams, and whether or not she would share them with Miss Grimwood, Shaggy, or any of his friends. In the meantime, she'd eat her meal, gently grasping a nearby unlabeled bottle of some sort of thick red sauce, putting a generous amount in her bowl. Miss Grimwood kept her word, managing to find some proper sustenance for the vampire girl. As for the other ghouls, they kept quiet, knowing that all of them would confront their vampire friend about her strange behavior in class. Of course, despite how worried they all felt, one ghoul in particular seemed to be noticeably uncomfortable with the heavy silence that fell upon the table.
With twitchy eyes and an occasional manic giggle, Phantasma's eyes quickly darted between everyone, her spoon quite shaky in her hand. A few times, she was the one to try and start conversations with the others. Firstly, excitedly asking Shaggy if they found anything, to which he replied to the negative, quite bluntly for that matter. The second time, she had desperately tried to engage Sibella into talking about their previous math class, although not bringing up her moment of dazing off. Instead, she tried to ask her if she could help her study up on her math, to which the vampire kindly accepted, not saying much else.
While that would give her and her friends the opportunity to confront her about what's obviously been bothering her, the phantom's ears were still ringing from the amount of not-talking everyone was doing. Her hands shook more, eyes twitching like crazy as she kept scanning everyone in an insane manner. Why was everyone so quiet?! It was enough to drive her bonkers!
"Hey Phanty, like, are you okay..?" Shaggy decided to ask, stopping in the middle of his fourth helping to look at the twitchy ghost.
Immediately after he asked that, she yelled out something to finally break the silence. "I MADE AN INSTRUMENT OUT A BRAIN TODAY!" With how loud she said that, everyone immediately stopped eating and looked at her, taken aback by the sheer volume of her statement and, to those that weren't observing the class at the time, the strangeness of what she had just said. If it was quiet before, it was nothing compared to right now. Phanty, realizing her outburst, merely let out a few small giggles, feeling her mood deflate a little. She soon stared into her bowl, feeling very embarrassed about the whole thing.
Tanis felt sorry for her ghostly friend, reaching over to gently pat her back (or at least make the gesture of it, since she was a phantom). The little mummy tried to comfort her friend, feeling a bit guilty. "It's okay, Phanty. I think we forgot just how... uncomfortable silence makes you," Tanis said in a comforting manner. Her ghost looked up at her, giving a small, weary looking smile in response.
Of course, everyone else saw this, the ghouls deciding to casually try and start up conversations again. It seemed to work this time, everyone muttering to one another about the food, classes, progress on investigations, and other similar things. The detective remained silent, though, since he usually did.

After lunch was over, it wouldn't take long for Phantasma (who was thankfully brought out of her funk), to remind Sibella about a study session. Soon afterwards, Phanty giggled in her usual manner and floated through the ceiling, deciding to meet her there. Just as the vampire was beginning to walk up the stairs, she noticed that the other three were following. Once she gave a quick glance behind her back, cocking an eyebrow up in confusion, Elsa spoke up.
"Uh, hope you don't mind us joining," She requested simply. With a mere nod from the purple girl, she continued her ascent up to her room, the rest of her class in tow. She knew the exact reason why they were following her. She wasn't stupid. Sure enough, when she entered her room, she saw the ghost girl floating in mid air, legs crossed as if she were sitting on the floor, no math book to be found. While she gave a wide smile and a wave to Sibella, her eyes suddenly became very interested in whatever was hanging on the wall, avoiding her friend's stony gaze.
With a small sigh, she walked in and let every join her, making sure to shut the door and lock it behind her. Sibella turned to her friends, who had gathered in a small group, looking expectantly at her. Ultimately, it was Winnie who decided to get straight to the point.
"So, what's the deal?" Her tone wasn't meant to come off as too stand-offish, or even mean. It was just the werewolf's natural bluntness wanting to know what was bothering her friend. The vampire took a look at everyone's face, somehow knowing that it wouldn't have been long since the others caught on to her somewhat unusual behavior. Elsa's face was, as usual, very analytic, yet thoughtful. Winnie's eyes looked thoughtful as well, though her stance let Sibella know that she wouldn't want to wait long. Tanis was quite worried, looking up at her with her nervous blue eyes. Phanty had also gotten her attention back to Sibella, giving a little shrug with an apologetic look.
The vampire's face softened up a little, seating herself in a nearby chair as she let out a sigh. "Very well. It'll do me no good hiding this, anyways," She began, letting everyone else take a seat opposite from her. They wouldn't have to wait long before Sibella began telling them about her strange dreams. "It all started when I was still back at Castle Dracula. Everything was going as normal, up until the night before I left for Grimwood's. That night, I had a nightmare unlike any other I've witnessed in the past."
The others wouldn't interrupt, although they did share an uneasy look towards each other before looking back at Sibella, silently urging her to continue. "I could see flashes of fire, blood, and someone being attacked, although I have no idea by what. The biggest thing that perturbed me, however, was the fact that during most of the dream, I could not see anything, yet I could hear the sounds of someone being attacked by... something." She said, her eyes narrowing as she looked off to the side. Her hand rested on her chin, as if thinking about what could possibly be attacking.
Before anyone could interject, the vampire turned back to the group. "I could also hear someone, or rather, something talk to me." She paused, trying to remember what it said to her.
Tanis spoke up in a quiet voice, obviously quite nervous. "Do... do you remember what it said?"
The vampire looked to her and gave a small nod before replying with her answer.
"The fear you sense is nothing compared to what will soon happen.
Nothing can be done to stop what is already in motion.
Unless you feel the need to join my cause, you will fall with the others."
Sibella did not continue afterwards, letting her words sink in. Winnie's eyes were wide open, unsure of what to make of her statement. Phanty and Tanis shared a scared look to each other while Elsa kept her chin in her hand, thinking to herself. It wouldn't be long before she looked back up, a serious tone in her deep voice. "You had this dream again recently, didn't you." It wasn't formed into that of a question, and more like a statement. It was the only logical conclusion to be made, since Sibella had taken the time to tell her friends about her dream at home.
Sure enough, the vampire gave another nod. "Yes. This time it was much more severe though," She replied, shifting around in discomfort. "You see, while the dream was ultimately similar to the other one, the voice was much more sinister and evil. What's worse is that I could feel the fire. And I could feel someone attacking me."
Winnie straightened up, as if ready to run over to her. "Are you okay?!" She quickly exclaimed, concerned about her friend's health. Thankfully, her friend gave a small smile.
"Don't worry, Winnie, I'm perfectly fine. I didn't even wake up with a scratch." Her smile turned back into a thoughtful frown as she leaned back in her chair. "Still, it all felt so real. I'm worried that if I have that dream again, it will only get worse."
After a few seconds of quiet, Phantasma spoke up, using a serious tone of voice that was rarely used for the ghost. "It couldn't be... her, could it?" Everyone knew exactly who she was talking about, although Elsa was the one to answer her.
"Shouldn't be. After her castle exploded, there were no other indicators that her magic continued to exist. Her castle wasn't rebuilt, there were no signs of her spider-bats. We threw her wand into her cauldron, destroying her source of magic, for the most part," She explained calmly.
Another few seconds of silence passed, Tanis looking at Sibella with a desperate look. "Sibella, you have to tell Miss Grimwood about this. Whatever it is can't be good."
Sibella gave a small nod, but sighed and crossed her arms. "I've considered it, but it just doesn't feel right to make her worry about something like this."
Winnie huffed and crossed her arms as well, rolling her eyes. "Listen, Sibella, now's not the time for keeping this kind of thing from her. Like you said, things could get worse. You've gotta stop this brooding and let someone know."
The vampire knew her werewolf friend was right. Just like she had told her friends, she needed to let her headmistress know. Still, bringing it up would be quite uncomfortable. She felt like her teacher was already busy enough as it was teaching her students most of their classes. It felt wrong to pile more worries onto her.
Phanty snapped her fingers, her usual semi-cheery voice back. "Hey, I've got an idea! Why not tell Coach? Him and his friends are sure to know what's going on!"
Elsa gave a nod, a small grin forming. "Yeah. Besides, maybe this connects with their mystery in some fashion."
"We did say we would help in any way he can..." Tanis added, hopefully egging the vampire on to confess to someone about her odd dreams. Sibella figured that everyone would come to this conclusion eventually, as she had that exact same thought herself.
It would definitely help them, of course. Sibella stood up, deciding to ride out her discomfort and swallow her pride. "Very well. It would make me comfortable if you all went with me, though." Of course, everyone got up, willing to follow her out. A small smile of confidence grew on the vampire's face, glad that her friends were there for her. She just hoped Shaggy and his friends would be able to help.

Mystery Inc. would watch as the ghouls made their way upstairs, leaving them time to plan things out a little. Shaggy was slightly confused by this, but didn't figure too much of it. They'd just get more training in another day. For now, though, the whole group was sitting in the living room with Miss Grimwood, doing a sort of interview.
While they all decided to keep their recent discovery a secret, it wouldn't hurt to see if there were any more potential secret areas to the house. Of course, the headmistress was happy to help, sitting with them and doing her best to answer any questions. Strangely enough, though, when Freddie asked about secret passageways, Miss Grimwood merely shook her head and answered in the negative.
"I've lived here for most of my life, and unfortunately, I haven't had time to create one. It would certainly help me a lot, though. I could always use more room for books and classes," She replied with a small laugh, sipping at some tea. Everyone else had a cup as well, though upon being told it was 'toadstool tea', none of them really made an effort to drink, save for Shaggy and the detective. The former because of the fact that he was used to the odd flavor, and the latter for curiosity's sake.
Her answer was quite strange though, as it obviously didn't go along with what they all saw earlier. Velma's mind began to think back to a book that only she and the detective had read. History of Grimwood. She didn't recall reading anything about secret passageways. There were paragraphs talking about how some were attempted to be built, but for some reason, a catastrophe would happen and seal it up. If that was the case though, why was the one they found earlier still in tact?
She lifted her head from her thinking position and asked, "How long have you lived here, Miss Grimwood?"
"I'd say a little over a century and a half," She answered simply, taking another sip of tea. This woman was definitely unnatural, if she was alive that long. "However, this place was here when I moved in and decided to form a school from it. It took a bit of 'cleaning out', but in no time I had this place up and running to where it is now." Miss Grimwood seemed quite proud of how she owned and ran her school. The question in Velma's mind was now what 'cleaning out' meant.
Before anyone else could ask something, they were greeted with someone clearing their throat. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything..?" Came the purr of a familiar vampire. Everyone looked over to see her descending the staircase, looking between everyone. Winnie was beside her, giving her a couple of nudged with her elbow, indicating something. The vampire flashed a look to her and kept moving to the group.
"Oh not at all, Sibella. What is it you'd like to ask?" Miss Grimwood greeted pleasantly. A smile did not form on her face, as she instead sighed, almost not feeling up to repeating her story again. Still, it had to be done.
"I think I have something that may help your case." She said, looking over to Mystery Inc.

"Where'd you say you saw it?"
"Da nearby graveyard! I was visitin' my granny's grave when I saw th' body!"
The deputy nodded, making sure to take down as much information as possible. "I see. We'll get some people out on the scene to investigate it." It wouldn't be long before he sent out officers to the graveyard, telling them to close off the scene of the crime and keep civilians away.
If this witness was correct, this would be almost similar to the last homicide that happened just a few days prior. The deputy sat at his desk, rubbing his forehead with a hand. He knew that he had to call him. He reached out for the phone and put in the number.

Everyone listened to Sibella's story with intrigue. Miss Grimwood, Shaggy, and Scooby were obviously surprised with it, as well as how much it seemed to be affecting her. The wellbeing of a student was very important, after all. The rest of Mystery Inc. listened as well, trying to make connections in their heads. As the vampire stated, her dreams may be tied in some fashion to the murder. The detective made sure to record everything down, as if he were a scribe.
Once she was finished with her story, Sibella looked quite drained, finding herself an empty seat to rest in. Out of concern, Winnie remained close to her, Shaggy keeping an eye on her. She definitely looked more tired, though on the inside, it felt as if a small weight had been lifted. It really did help to tell them about her problems.
Miss Grimwood looked thoughtful, a finger tapping against her cheekbone gently. "Thank you for telling us about this, Sibella," She said in a serious tone. "Maybe it would be in our best interest to keep an eye out for any further dreams like this." She glanced at everyone else, her face not changing. "This goes for everyone. Do not hesitate if anyone hears, sees, or dreams something like that. Dreams are more powerful than one can imagine, and if the seem to deviate from how they normally act, than something is wrong."
Daphne turned to the vampire, voicing her own concerns. "Does your dad know? I figure a powerful vampire such as him would be able to help."
Sibella gave a small shrug. "I've told him about the first one, though I shrugged it off at the time. Still, he thought that returning here might be bad for my health."
"And you still came here..?" Googie continued, lifting an eyebrow of hers. "Is there any reason? Not that I don't trust your judgement, of course!" She quickly added, not wanting to offend the vampire by any means. "It's just that... it's clear you know what your visions could mean if they continued. It seems risky to stay as far away from home as you are with this going on."
At this, surprisingly, Sibella turned her head some, her face flushing just barely. "Well... this is a little embarrassing to say..." She muttered shyly before speaking up. "I... didn't want to be away from my friends." She finally replied, brushing her hair out of her face, trying to act as casual and nonchalant as possible. A quick look at the ghouls showed that they were rather touched by this, a few returning the look of a shy smile.
Phanty, being herself, couldn't help but exclaim, "Awww..!" Sibella flashed a grin to them at this. The rest found themselves quite touched by this too, with Scooby joining Phanty in her statement. In an instant, though, the detective had shut his book and got up in a sudden manner. Because of this, a few flinched, looking over at him in confusion.
Rather than provide an explanation, he pulled a hand into his pocket, muttering out, "Excuse me." He turned his back to the group, walking a short distance away as he pulled out what looked to be a cellphone, buzzing in a call. He answered the call with a quiet, "Hello?"
The rest of them watched for a couple of seconds before Freddie spoke up to everyone. "Anyways, thank you for sharing this with us, Sibella. Every clue helps, and to be honest, I think this may be our biggest one yet!" His confident grin was evident on his face, hoping to liven everyone's spirits a little.
"You're quite welcome. As much as it's been bothering me, I know that it'll help all of us get to the bottom of it." She replied, a genuine smile showing, flashing her fangs.
"Like, you can count on us!" Shaggy added, happy to see his students happy once again.
Miss Grimwood was quite pleased as well, slowly standing to her feet. "I'm glad as well! Now, I do believe it's time for our next class, yes?" Before anyone could make a move, though, the detective returned from his phone call, a hand covering his mouth in thought. His eyes remained wide open, though it was unsure if his smile was still there or not.
"Yo, Freaky, what's the story?" Phanty called, curious about his sudden thoughtful look. The detective looked up at her, although not out of annoyance of the nickname. His eyes moved from her, to the group of ghouls, and then to the group of mystery solvers. He removed his hand from his face, his grin still as wide as it ever was as he spoke.
"There was a body found in a nearby graveyard."
