In tears of the kingdom he has a wife, but that doesn't stop my brain from imagining him (and his wife) either being in a poly relationship or Sidon having a mlm relation while his wife has a wlw one. (My dream relation may or may not be Sidon and Link, and Yona and Zelda. It'd just be so cute, and could lead for some intresting areanged marrige fanfics)

omg thank you so much!! I switched the chapter count to ten on that fic a little after posting the very first chapter. I was outlining it and it broke out into ten nice chunks, so I decided to keep it that way for the chapter count 😆 I want to resume working on chapter three (and finish the whole fic it’s been HAUNTING me this whole time cause I love it so much) once I get some tears of the kingdom fics written!

I’m writing all of those totk wips out now, and I want to start posting them in July maybe? July 12th is the date I’m eyeballing to lift my self-imposed “exile” from posting spoilers to ao3, as it’s two months after the game’s release and I want to give enough time to my followers to finish out its amazing story before any subscriber emails or tumblr posts spoil them before they can get there 🥰 I finished the story myself like two days ago? three? and I literally havent touched the game in full since because I open it up, think about the ending, and go running to google docs instead of hunting shrines/lightroots or doing side quests 😂 the brainrot is SOOOOO REAL

so all of this to say, queenbosa chapter 3 is going to get worked on some time in July! and then hopefully posted by the end of August? I don’t know! Been thinking a little about Champion lately. I think he's got short hair. Like way shorter than it is in botw. I haven't doodled it yet but I need to.

Twilight has like a million animals he feeds. All the cats. Modern au Twi would probably volunteer with an animal shelter or adoption program. He might foster pets! Help with spay/neuter catch and release programs! Yknow that kind of thing

I think transfemme Dusk would be Very Cool. We didn't have that in mind when setting up asau and the royal line kinda needs to continue, and there's a whole bunch of stuff with zeldy powers being only in afab ppl bc that's how we set it up to work. But like dusk has the energy yknow, on top of being a distinguished sword lesbian. Also transfemme Fable! Her and Legend would legit be opposites bdgdbsbbxbx

Flora is chubby. Mizu sent me an artwork earlier this month of botw/aoc Zelda, Urbosa, and Link and I just fell IN LOVE, we immediately made it canon. She was just so fucking cute. (Twitter link)

We were talking about like. The kind of stuff that happens when you're on T. And I was talking about how when you change doses your face swells for a little while, and it can do that when you first start. So even tho Legend's ring would regulate his T, it could still happen at first. So our (paraphrased) conversation was like:

Mizu: I think it does, and Legend is upset/self conscious about it, but then Wars is like "wow... Was your jawline always this strong?" and Legend is immediately hit with euphoria

Kio: YEAH he'd be like "I don't even care if he's lying to me?? I do not care, this feels too nice"

And then that convo went onto Legend whining about having acne again, etc etc lol

We recently talked about maybe writing something about Legend's mom and dad!!! Like how their relationship went up to having legend. So maybe this will happen. I fucking. I love his and fable's mom Amethyst, we've written her and Alfon in Faction and. AAAAAA she's just great. Legend takes after her sm. He definitely gets his temper from her. What's funny is that ppl look at Alfon and how stoic and mild he is and think that he's the voice of reason, but no. On the inside there is chaos, especially when amethyst is involved. Her flirting with him made his brain catch on fire, but outwardly? Nothing.

Just fucking. ASK ME about how many AUs we have. I fucking dare u. We've got spinoffs of spinoffs. So many ideas. All the time. I convinced Mizu to make a furry au with me. LoZ BotW Wrap Up

Sadly this marks the last post of the original play-through, and I'm unlikely to pick it up from this point 4 years later [at least not until I'm actually able to let's play games like I'd prefer]. Which is kind of a shame tho bc like a fool, this means me saving the best for last never actually happened. Because the Gerudo man!!!

I remember I had a lot of thoughts on the Gerudo, because I always do LOL I am always intrigued by their role in the story just for the fact alone that Ganon is from this race and they often are in vastly different situations in each game because of it. Like in OoT they're at war with Hyrule bc of Ganon, but there are some who arent cool with that. In TP it's strongly implied Selma is descended from the Gerudo, but otherwise they seem to have been wiped out. Same for WW, where theres really no hint of them at all.

In BotW though they are flourishing really, and well aware of Ganons origins from them. Urbosa makes a point that he's their responsibility, and that she takes pleasure in helping to rid the world of him. So I have to think since they have good relations with others, that the Gerudo of this game hold no love for Ganon and had to work past that stigma. Its also interesting that [to my memory] they dont seem to have had a male Gerudo of significance since. Perhaps because of Ganon they haven't been observing the whole "that one male every 100 years gets to be king" thing? But the possibility of it certainly is still a thing, since you can buy male clothes for gerudo, albeit in secret

No I'm not going to talk about the gender and the cross dressing thing bc uuuuhhhh you know why =_=;;; I'm sure theres essays about it, I remember a lot of discussion about it at the time.

However I am interested in talking about those 8 matron deities the Gerudo here have??!!?! I love this! I am so fascinated by this and want to know more! It appears to be the only mention of any other religion outside Hylia to my memory. And one of them is even forsaken?? In the mountains??? What happened with that??!! I dearly hope that it might be something expanded on in TotK, but I may be asking for a lot lol

Side note also, I adore Riju, she's so cute and is carrying so much on those shoulders and the hat doesn't even fit on her head yet lmaooo

Extra side note, I actually really loved in the final memory viewing, that tiny hint that Fi is still there in the sword.

I did also get the Champion DLC, and while that first trial bit sucked ass, I did like the little memory additions we got for the Champions and the options to learn more about them in their diaries!

Except for Ravioli. That guy continues to suck

Also like.....Urbosa and Zelda's mom were so a thing. Like, the lesbian undertones are practically overtones LOL

I have no idea when I will play TotK, as atm the purchase of it isnt even on my mind right now [grad school be suckin my wallet dry atm] but one day I will get it and probably post about it, if not LP it by then lol

Overall I loved BotW though, it was a fun game to play and a very interesting take on Zelda. Its honestly the one that feels closest to the OG, which I think was the idea lol I'm interested to see how the series will move forward
