A New Man aired for BTVS season 4, episode 12. A lot happens in this episode. A few highlights: a drama-free surprise birthday party for Buffy, one of Buffy's best puns, Riley proudly announces his body count is 17, Buffy - even while still holding back - spars with Riley and it's no contest, and Willow and Tara practice magic in Tara's dorm room.
WALSH: So, the Slayer!
BUFFY: Yeah. That's me.
WALSH: We thought you were a myth.
BUFFY: Well, you were myth-taken.
In this episode Giles's old "friend" Ethan returns. They spend time together, including at a bar where Ethan flirts. (With the waitress, totally with the waitress.) Ethan is later taken by Riley and other guys from "The Initiative."
This was the last appearance of Ethan Rayne. Ethan is played by Robin Sachs and is in four episodes total, Halloween and The Dark Age in S2, Band Candy in S3, and this episode. Sadly Robin Sachs passed away in 2013 of heart failure, at the age of 61.
WHOA FIVE OF MY SELF INSERTS COSPLAYING AS BROZONE WHAAAAT!?!?!?
I was listening to Trolls 3’s soundtrack, like any sane person does, and came up with this idea and I’m actually so proud of how this turned out like omg!!!
Auggie had been avoiding her sisters for a few days now. She’d pretty much been staying in her apartment. It helped that she didn’t have a job to go to though she figured she would not have to get one. On top of all that, she had been dodging calls from home too, knowing her family would be a mess. She knew she wasn’t to blame but she wasn’t innocent either. She did know that eventually, her sisters would show up though. Auggie considered not opening the door but that wouldn’t work and she knew it, “Hey,” she said as she opened the door to both of them and stepping aside to let them in, her slipper-covered feet shuffling against the floor.
Back in 2009, a group of young ladies started their own magical girls team. Going by the Pretty Saviors, they fought the supernatural threats in Costabella...
... Until 2015, when their leader, Pretty M, got involved in a shrinking incident.
The Pretty Saviors are...
Renia Garan a.k.a. Pretty R (she/her), the brawler, a large and muscular green ogress with red hair in a pink uniform.
Cass a.k.a. Pretty C (she/her), the scout, a green lamia with large nails in a purple uniform.
Olaie Steelanvil a.k.a. Pretty O (she/they), the protector, a blonde nibelung with a short goatee and shoulder pads in a blue uniform.
Maggie Cid a.k.a. Pretty M (she/her), the leader, a human with dark hair, a mask on her eyes and an oversized bow on her head in a yellow uniform.
Alix Willow a.k.a. Pretty A (she/her), the mystic, an elf with a mask covering her mouth, a cape and a witch hat in a black and red uniform.
After disbanding, Renia became a rugby player, Cass a spy, Olaie a doctor, Alix an actress... and we all know about Maggie, right?
buffy's professor in checkpoint is actually needlessly cruel, especially when she makes an excellent point considering how what we consider true historically changes the more we learn about other countries points of view
So like...I never ended up writing much about Willow and Sam hunting for Quinn because I was kinda waiting for Erik to talk more about that process, and I was gonna derive inspiration from that whether from actually being inspired or just out of spite, lol.
But like...since he's given us absolutely nothing, I'm not entirely sure what to do now, lmfao. This is worse than rewriting the Inversion somehow. Quinn is already dead in my fanon, but it's been a lower priority I've secretly stored away to one day fill in a few of those gaps, besides the one story establishing Sam's niece. (This was established in Ending 1/True End of Yours in Eternity, My Dearest! Which means Will is also fanonically dead ;_;)
But now I guess I have to fill in those gaps on my own. I'm not really in the mood or a rush to do that, but maybe one day it will happen. Idk we'll see.
