Golden gorse is an evergreen shrub that takes root almost anywhere in grassy meadows in Britain and western Europe, growing in clumps, with sharp spines on its twigs and smaller spines on its leaves. Strong enough to survive in harsh, cold lands even when strong winds blow, golden gorse bushes provide excellent wind shelter and valuable shelter in bare wastelands.
The thorny leaves prevent the evaporation of water, and the golden flowers bloom at any time, whether sizzling in the sun or covered by sea water. On a calm day with no wind, the flowers have a sweet scent similar to that of coconut or vanilla, and in brilliant sunshine, the pods of the golden gorse burst into tiny seeds that scatter all around, interrupting the buzzing of the bees. The bright golden colour of the flowers uplifts the spirits and beckons the bees in search of sweet nectar.
The ancient Celts would have been looking forward to the arrival of spring, when the golden gorse would be in full bloom and the golden waves would cover the whole area. The yellow flowers of the golden gorse represent the energy of the sun and are symbolic of Lugh, the Celtic sun god of light and talent. The bees also symbolise the wisdom that bees have acquired through their dedicated work. With its evergreen foliage that never ceases to flower all year round, the tree is vital in its radiance and its energy is uninterrupted even during the darkest days of midwinter.
The golden gorse is a sign of courage and a promise of the coming of spring. It is a feast for the eyes and a renewed spark of hope in the midst of disappointment. For the Celts, the golden gorse was a symbol of optimism and trust.

Pluto, called dwarf planet, (a little smaller than our moon) is the main body of the Plutonian system; it forms a couple with its big satellite Charon, and can therefore be considered as a double system.
Astrologically, Pluto is the superior octave of Mars, ruler of the sign of Scorpio, (governing the 8th house). It is the transformer, whose essence is renewal.
It is the slowest planet since it takes 248 years to go around the zodiac. It invites to transcend, to shake to the core being and transforms it in an irreversible way, acting on the subconscious and unconscious level.
Its process is irreversible, penetrating the most intimate secrets…
This energy mixes and increases the power and intensity of the planets it transits by.
This entry into Aquarius is a significant astrological event (the slowness of its cycle allows man to experience at most 6 changes of sign of Pluto; the sectors of life concerned by its passage (houses) are destined to be supports of personal evolution, existential domains likely to experience powerful transformations.
Aquarius, an air sign belonging to the relational triplicity (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) is ruled by Uranus and carries its characteristics; ingenuity, avant-garde spirit, a pronounced taste for independence and freedom and the energy to transform things, in analogy with the 11th house
With this air sign, mental and social action is stabilized and concentrated; in this sign Pluto will therefore exert its transformation on social relationships and the relationship of each person to the community will be questioned.
Each of our actions makes society; under this prism, the individual action is of capital importance. This transit in an air modality sing (energetic movement of consolidation) is the logical continuation of the transit of Pluto in Capricorn in 2008 (sign of carinal modality, energetic movement of initiation) around the themes related to power; it is a concrete implementation of our awareness and the incarnation of another way of living together.
Pluton en Verseau laisse des traces irréversibles dans l'histoire de l'humanité;
This sign carries penetrating energies, which result from awareness and the desire for change; with Pluto, it may result in speeches and actions that oppose each other in violent relationships of power.
Pluto in Aquarius leaves permanent traces in the history of humanity;
The last transit of the planet in this sign (1777 to 1797) saw the American Revolution and the French Revolution.
Aquarius also concerns the relationship we have with technology, as it is ruled by Uranus (whose transits will be considered with great importance throughout this cycle)
The transit of Pluto will modify this sector and the way we contemplate the future as well as the content of our discussions on this subject (transhumanism)
What is Man? How far are we willing to let technology invade us?
How do we envision the future?
Like in any capitalist system, our answers to these questions through our consumer decisions will be decisive in the coming decade.
The March Equinox is an annual celebration that occurs on March 20. In the Northern Hemisphere, the March Equinox is referred to as the vernal equinox. It marks the start of Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and the autumn season in the Southern Hemisphere. It marks the Sun’s crossing above the Earth’s equator, moving from south to north. Like all equinoxes, the March equinox is distinctive in that it has almost exactly the equal amount of daylight and nights across many latitudes of Earth.
History of March Equinox
Wherever you may be on Earth, the equinox brings us several seasonal effects which have been noticeable to nature lovers around the globe for years. The word ‘equinox’ originates from two Latin words: ‘aequus’ meaning equal and ‘nox’ meaning night. The literal meaning is ‘equal night.’ Our ancestors, who had far less precise timekeeping than we do, believed that night and day were equal. But today we know this is not true.
People have been celebrating the March Equinox for centuries and since it is associated with spring the festivals tend to celebrate fertility and agriculture. The Romans used this day to celebrate their goddess Cybele who has driven around in a chariot drawn by lions. Ancient Persia in roughly 550 B.C., celebrated the vernal equinox as Nowruz, their New Year. Modern Iranians still celebrate this time as their New Year. During the era of the Shang Dynasty, which ruled China from 1600 to 1046 B.C., it was believed that the spring equinox marked a mythic beginning, a type of ‘start of their line.’ Jews in the 12th Century believed that the spring equinox marked the day in the year in which the Biblical plague that turned Egypt’s water into blood occurred.
The festival of ‘Holi’ is the March equinox festival in India. This is celebrated in honor of various Hindu deities and legends. It signals the triumph of Good vs Evil, the most notable being the legend of Krishna and Rhada. Ancient cultures had great awareness of nature, the seasons, and the movement of the celestial bodies. Many built sites that had a glaringly obvious use: that of a calendar. These were often aligned to display shafts of sunlight during solstices and equinoxes. Examples of these are Chichen Itza in Mexico, Mnajdra Temples in Malta, and Stonehenge in England.

Well...it's more like two times a year if we're getting technical. I'm not smart enough to give a super well thought out answer to this, however: the seasons change four times a year. And those seasonal changes affect the tides, which, in turn, affect Neuvillette and his...cycle.
During the summer and winter solstices, the tides are weakest, and therefore, the effect they have on his biology are minimal. If anything, he's more sluggish and a tad more easily distracted than he normally is, but he's been dealing with it long enough for it to be manageable. It's unnoticeable to most, but he does take the luxury of having a day or two for himself in the summer time.
During the spring and autumn equinoxes, when the tides are at their highest during the year, he's a little more...active, so to speak.
Irritability, impatience, the telltale scales littering his body, the shifts in his anatomy; without a partner, his ruts are...difficult. but manageable. He knows when they'll start and has dealt with them promptly and privately for centuries.
With a partner (or someone he's yearning for) is a different story.
The jealousy that pricks his mind, the need to have something, everything of theirs lining his nest, the incessant need to mate them, claim them, breed them; everything that was manageable before is now impossible. What was once a bi-yearly nuisance is an active problem that he does NOT want them to see. Not like this at least - not before he's been able to actually talk to them about it. If they know about it but haven't experienced it with him yet, he's going to be reluctant. But...he will let them see it. Feel it. Know what it is for him to be like...this.
As for how involved the breeding is though -
Sorry, I can't divulge any further. Special Surveillance Gardes at my door.
