I know I m just being petty here but did certain people not get triggered by the line "And while Jensen Ackles was your sidekick..."? because I know how much "Jensen and Sidekick" in the same line bothers them. Anyway this wasn't an ask I just thought it was funny. Have a nice day ahead!
Tumblr media
Haha, technically the author didn't call Dean a sidekick (only bitter AA stans are allowed call him a sidekick) but he was clearly referring to Dean. AAs are currently trying to set the author's twitter house on fire.
Author: "Take your stupid outrage elsewhere. Didn't you see I put 'partner and your brother' in the same sentence?"
AAs: "But you put 'partner' and 'brother' AFTER sidekick!"
Author: "Would it make you feel better if I put 'sidekick' after 'partner' and 'brother' then?
AAs: .... ..... "Jensen carried the stupid show for 15 years and critics awarded him for best actor, not supporting actor!"
Me: "5 minutes before Jensen won the critics award you said it was rigged for Jared because of Walker. By your logic, Jensen's award was rigged because of The Boys which swept up the rest of the critics awards".
Minions: "Supernatural is an ensemble show! Where's the critic award for Alex Culvert's cat? That cat's Instagram is lit!"
Kim Rhodes: *weeping* "Richard Speight said he was going to have Jody in the finale even though he didn't write it and he's not directing it. Everybody and their stunt doubles’ cousins’ evil twin deserved to have an exit in the finale."
Normal fans: “Since when was Richard Speight the showrunner?”
Super fans: “Supernatural is not an ensemble show!  There’s only Sam and Dean.  Stop being a bunch of ungrateful onions!”
Me: "When SPN conventions open up again it's going to be lit!"

Kat’s Bjelland’s 12 Favorite Songs interview - text sourced from here, a now defunct fansite created by “hersir.” Date and publication source unknown
The Replacements - Unsatisfied "It was played 20 times a day. It was always on our turntable. What does it make me think of? Paris. Perfume. An empty Fillmore Street Victorian flat. San Francisco Haight Street. Being very poor. No cigarettes. Cockroaches. Being in a band with Courtney called Sugarbunny Farm. Jennifer throwing her bass at Courtney. Why? It had something to do with migrating to Minneapolis. That's why they wear flannel. It's cold in Minneapolis."
Hair - The Soundtrack "I went to this play with my parents in about fourth or fifth grade. I was the only kid there. I got to see the whole cast naked in the finale. When my parents went out, I'd open the drapes so I could see my bell-bottomed, head-banded reflection, dancing. They sang songs about fellatio, sodomy, cunnilingus, pederasty, drugs; that song "Frank Mills"! I loved it. All that I wanted then was to be a hippy like my mom."
K-Tel - Haunted House Sounds "This was my very first LP. My father obviously didn't realise how cat's screeching, ladies screaming in terror, aliens landing and psychotic laughter could infect/affect and scare little minds. At the time I was really into staring myself down in the mirror until I left my body, then I'd just jerk back and forth to this record or turn into some scary-faced creature. I was grounded a lot but I flew around inside my head."
Rush - 2112 "I was very metal then. Judas Priest, Scorpions, Maiden, Girlschool, Ozzy. Shut up - at least I'm honest! "Cygnus X-1" on "Farewell to the Kings" fairly ruled. Also, no girls I knew really liked Rush, only boys, they sang about weird lands and mystical places."
Miracle Workers - Inside Out "Sixties garage kings, loving it, looking it, the whole part. I dyed my hair black. Matt Rogers from the band helped me pick out my Rickenbacker, inspired me a lot and turned me on to so many bands like the Cramps, plus "Pebbles" compilations, old Fender equipment, tube amps, old pedals....the whole deal. Plus they were the coolest live band ever, except for...."
The Wipers - Alien Boy - Positive Negative "Portland, Oregon, where I was living, was pretty great for bands in the early Eighties. Sage is the perfect last name for The Wiper's Greg. G S = Genius Sage. He taught me about feedback and had a real honest singing style and stage persona. They were my favourite band, and the music reeks of Portland back then. His solo stuff is a definite depression inducer. Perfect."
The Cars - Candy 0 "That song drove me all over Woodburn, Oregon. I was 15 years old. The Dragstrip! Muscles. Cars. Sneaking out at nights. Skipping school. Sex. Keggers, bongs and puke. No, I wouldn't care to explain that."
Kiss - Destroyer "I had the biggest Kiss poster you could get. Me and Alfredo Garcia would open the windows before recess so we could sneak back in and air-guitar to Kiss. I had to be Gene Simmons, God of Thunder: all that is evil is good. The God of Thunder himself said to Maureen that she had a "nice bottom". As in bass. A Rock Pig Joke."
Pixies - Surfer Rosa "Pop sensibility without compromise. Nice spaces and dynamics. Sorta scientific. Great production, great songs. Kim Deal's voice! I love The Breeders. "Pod" is great - beautiful songwriting! I wrote our track "Vomit Heart", after listening to that record.
The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main Street "Acid. I was having my heart ripped out by a guy whose last name was actually Letcher, which inspired most if not all of "Spanking Machine". Depression and wallowing around in it for too long. Stitches. Bandages."
Sonic Youth - Sister "Courtney owed me some money, the exact cost of this record, so she bought it for me. I'd only heard the "Kill Yr Idols" '45, with Kim screaming. I felt reassured after that and realised I actually was writing "songs". I hadn't grasped the concept of "No Rules" right away."
Staple Sisters - Uncloudy Day "It reminds me of living in London. Being in love in a different country. Eating too many eggs. "Old Matey". Manor House. James (Johnston, Gallon Drunk singer and ex-beau) bought me this record. It's so beautiful it makes me cry. I listened to it when I found out that my mom had died. That line "Tell Heaven I'm Coming Home" hurts my heart."

i’ve been seeing this weird sense of entitlement throughout the art community lately, especially on the cartooning side of things. like yesterday, tom bancroft (the guy who organizes mermay every year) posted a dtiys (draw this in your style) drawing on instagram, and it was in his signature disney-inspired style. but i just want to highlight this comment he got all the while.
Tumblr media
now look at the response—most of which consists of “i’m a woman and this doesn’t offend me” which tells me that all people care about is “ugh, women can’t be sexy and men can’t draw sexy women, either! it’s not allowed!” but more on that down below. but look at his response, though.
Tumblr media
i’ll give him kudos for handling it professionally, but that’s me being generous as possible. i only liked the drawing because i like his technique. and again, that’s me being as generous as possible. i’m not bothered by drawings a little more on the risqué side (most of my repertoire is risqué) but the reaction to her comment is what’s troubling. tom also didn’t really answer her comment, either.
i also saw this tweet this morning—i added on the response because it’s just true.
Tumblr media
wacom isn’t the best there is (doubt anyone is really, i’m not turned on by big gimmicks and haven’t been for years, either) but i’m able to make my art on my tablet. it’s lasted me about a year and a half at this point: i’ve dropped it a couple of times, it survived amped and wired, and i’ve made hundreds—literally hundreds—of drawings with my tablet. but no complaints here with me. i’ve been taking good care of it otherwise. turns out, i guess that person complained to them over twitter and got no response. so they got impatient and repeated back to them in a more hostile fashion.
it wasn’t just a one-off, either, i’ve been seeing this a lot lately. something goes wrong and the artist just puts it down.
come to think of it, it’s not just art, either. i’m seeing it in music, particularly female fronted bands or just female musicians as a whole. take the pretty reckless for example. their finest hour was going to hell without question. they put out another album a couple of years later, and then death by rock n’ roll. forgot that follow up album, like i completely forgot it. and then death by rock n’ roll just completely buried it for me. that album is terrible, i hated that one. but... it’s not because i’m ~a female misogynist~ (that’s dumb to assume that with me, too: if anyone accuses me of misogyny, they’re a closet misogynist). no, i found it incredibly irritating and then i forgot about it in a week: and i would’ve said the same thing if a man put it out. but everyone is praising it for some reason. everyone is praising all female artists now, even if what they’re putting out is objectively not good. (also, kim and matt: i love you guys but could you shut the fuck up about taylor already? i don’t need to see a 17th comment about how great she is or how much chris inspired her, it’s starting to feel like nepotism)
i’m seeing it in fanfic, in particular. see: my whole tirade against this new batch of writers on ao3 who are misusing the ridiculously easy tagging system to no end, but also...
now, correct me if i’m wrong because it could just be from the fact i’m asexual and i’m growing more and more comfortable with it lately now that i’m able to talk about it and enunciate it better; but there seems to be this overhanging feeling at the moment, especially in the rpf side of things that you need to get erotic and sexual otherwise you’re going to be left behind. or it has to be obnoxiously fluffy. like there’s no middle ground anymore.
it’s understandable. if it’s any comfort, i can’t stand the amount of censorship that erotic artists and writers have been subject to for decades: i’m no stranger to it. i’ve actually had drawings taken down and i’ve been blocked from posting for a couple of days on fb all because i drew cartoon toplessness. if anything, i think it’s absurd (it’s okay for us to watch something gruesome and violent on the small screen but heaven forbid a kid gets caught with his pants down). but there’s this sense of entitlement behind it, though. like... you HAVE to be sexy otherwise you’re a prude. for example, look at the hits on fever in, fever out.
Tumblr media
a fic about life. just life unfolding. whatever intimate moments there are they’re either in the background or they’re understated. on a side-note: i made it actually wholesome on purpose just because i got tired of writing explicit work. this is basically my “wholesome” period, where i don’t feel a need to be sexy all the time, and i can focus on character and storytelling again.
and now look at the hits on the fics below it (blocking out their names because i know better).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
it’s crazy, actually. i have a feeling that my whole thing with daveigh definitely did something, too: you know how quickly gossip gets out. heaven forbid you stand up for yourself or have a different opinion, too. it’s not okay for anyone to speak their mind, or we’re just going to leave you out in the cold. you all need to look the same otherwise we will complain and make you suffer.
so safe to say: sometimes it’s not just the algorithms that trample over a difference in perspective, given ao3 isn’t run by an algorithm.
Tumblr media
as you can see there, my art’s even taken a hit: when i posted my other “collective” drawings like my belladonna drawings or the spreading the disease drawings, they got up in the 100s rather quickly—thus, the argument that testament is a small fandom doesn’t really work here because my spreading the disease drawings are dated 4/12/20.
i get spam comments on instagram every time i post a drawing now. literally every time, it’s gross. i get them on something genuinely heartfelt like a drawing of a boy and his cat or my tribute to joey jordison: within seconds i see “dm this to such-and-such ❤️” and i get three in a row, too, which i think is interesting. it’s all just mindless entertainment with everyone now, there’s no heart. there’s no soul. and while algorithms play a huge role in it, you can’t really pin the blame entirely on it, though. they choose to complain. they choose to kiss up. they choose to avoid. it’s like everyone’s a literal baby now. no restraint, touchy, demands everything, screams ad infinitum, and has a small mental capacity. i read something just the other day about what’s known as “the flynn effect”, or the fact that average i.q. has been dropping like a rock for decades all because of a dumbing down of youth culture and oversimplification of language, something that i myself have noticed time and time again. on social sites, on writing sites, anywhere there’s art posted, the 1000-lb gorilla that is tiktok with their highest viewed vids being just stupid shit where genuine artists are being overlooked and shoved down into the proverbial mud... and sex sells big time because we’re all idiots now...
it should come as no surprise then that intelligence has gotten increasingly attractive to me. it’s becoming a rare trait. intelligence, and soul, too. and if i’m perfectly honest, it’s a bit depressing.

The Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen: “This record saved my life”
The Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen faces your questions about lost friends, life in quarantine and her band’s new album
Four years on from their last album, The Pretty Reckless return in the face of personal loss and depression for the follow-up, Death By Rock And Roll. In the meantime, we challenged frontwoman Taylor Momsen to answer your burning questions on the band’s new era, making dream collaborations come true and… really rubbish tigers?
What can you tell us about how the new album is sounding? Debbie Smith (email)
“Awesome! I’m ecstatic for people to hear it. It’s been a long time coming and we’ve been sitting on music waiting to put it out, it’s been torturous. I don’t want to say too much but I am very confident with this album – in a lot of ways, this might be our best album yet; it’s very much a rebirth for this band and it feels like the first record in a lot of ways. I know to my core that I’m extraordinarily proud of what we’ve accomplished on this album, it’s a new chapter in the band’s life. This record saved my life and I’m really excited to share it.”
If you could collaborate with anyone on a future album who would it be and why? Jenni Owens (email)
“I don’t know because I don’t think of music like that, I think collaborations have to come about organically and in these modern times of streaming, collaborations are used more as a marketing tool than an actual artistic statement and I don’t really like that. I very rarely collaborate with people, but I say that just as I got to collaborate on this new album with some amazing people like Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil of Soundgarden on a song called Only Love Can Save Me Now, which we recorded at London Bridge Studios in Seattle where Soundgarden made Louder Than Love, Pearl Jam made Ten and Alice In Chains recorded there. It’s such an iconic space, so being there with those guys and hearing the song I wrote come to life with them playing it was one of the best experiences of my life. The collaboration came about in a really natural way through a lot of tragedy; we were opening for them on that last tour before Chris Cornell passed and that created a bond. We also have a song, And So It Went, that features Tom Morello playing the guitar solo – again that was such an amazing artistic collaboration. When I wrote the song, he immediately came to mind as a voice that could really express the concept, the lyrics and the point of the song and really take it to another level and he certainly does; when he comes in, it’s undeniably Tom Morello and it’s awesome!”
What do you think of them rebooting your old TV show Gossip Girl? Danielle Harris (email)
“I’m curious to see it! Social media and technology has changed so much since that show first aired so it’ll be interesting to see what they do with it. I remember on the show, they used to periodically give your character a new phone and it was still flip phones when it started… now everyone’s glued to iPhones and you feel like you’re dying without a smartphone. The social commentary alone will be interesting to see how they take that and bring it into the modern life we’re all living in.”
What did 2020 teach you? @immortalevfan (Twitter)
“It’s taught me patience, which I think I had a pretty good handle on ahead of 2020 but it certainly has tested my boundaries of how patient I can be. It’s taught me to appreciate the small things that we overlook in life – if we were on tour right now, I wouldn’t be getting to spend time with my tiny dog ,who’s very old, before she’s inevitably going to pass. I’ve been enjoying the little moments of being at home because the rest of my life has always been a whirlwind and was always on the go, so now there’s no other option but to reflect on your own thoughts and your own life.”
Would you rather have an army of badass ducks or one really crap tiger? James Brian Fitzgerald (Facebook)
“Can’t it be one badass tiger or a load of ducks? I’m kind of a solitude, isolated person; I have very few friends but the friendships I have go deep. Because a lot of ducks seems a little overwhelming, I think I want one tiger but I’d have to get him on the game. He just needs a little sensei training; I’ll give him a Soundgarden record and we’ll be on the same page. I’ll reform that tiger!”
Who in the music industry was most helpful to you taking your first steps and adapting into that world? Jane McAhrane (email)
“I have to give credit to my managers who I’ve been with for a very long time, they’ve always supported my visions and always had my back, but I think the main people are in the band. It started when I first met Ben [Phillips], our guitarist and my songwriting partner, and our producer Kato at the same time. There was an undeniable chemistry and magic that you can’t duplicate – it was something otherworldly, if you believe in that kind of thing. It was a defining moment in my life. Through that, I met Mark Damon [bass] and Jamie Perkins [drums]. When we all came together and made the decision to see where this was going to go, quit our jobs and I quit acting, we really jumped in with both feet. The support, camaraderie and the way we looked at music and life, everything about it is amazing.”
In your opinion, has having the career in acting helped or hindered the public perception and success of the band? And how long do you think it took for people to see you as a musician rather than the actress who has a band? Matt Heeks (Facebook)
“I think it was a combination of both a hindrance that we had to overcome and a slight help to the press side. In the beginning it certainly helped get our name out there because I was known for something else and I was living in a tabloid world at the time, so it spread the band’s name around, but I don’t think it contributed anything to the actuality of what it is to be a band, to make music and to be successful at that – having your name written in a bunch of articles doesn’t validate anything. I think the people who gave the album a chance without judging it with a pre- existing notion and went in with an open mind, they noticed pretty quickly. The rest of the world took a while to see this for what it was. There’s no facade, it’s just who we are as people.”
Do you think we are more likely to cry or headbang during the new album? @xxrecklesstayxx (Twitter)
“I think you’ll get a bit of both! There’s a very full spectrum on this record; it starts in the dark and ends in the light and it really takes you on a journey. If the first half doesn’t work for you, you’ll find something in the second half and vice versa. It encapsulates everything we’ve been through since the last time we were out and about in the world. A lot of this record was made due to how much tragedy and loss that suddenly thrust itself upon our lives in a short amount of time, from Chris Cornell’s passing to our producer Kato Khandwala [who died following a motorcycle crash in 2018]. [Kato] was my best friend on the planet and that was the nail in the coffin for me. I went down into a hole of depression and substance abuse and I didn’t know how to get out of it; it was music that saved me, it pulled me out and made me want to keep going. Writing this record was all I had left and I think you can really hear that on the album.”
What do you miss most about touring? Aimee Baker (email)
“I miss you guys, the fans! I’m going through show withdrawal, I miss being onstage with my best friends and cranking the amps, screaming into microphones and never really knowing what’s going on. I miss the whole energy of live shows because there’s nothing like it; it’s a drug and there’s nothing that competes with it. Being in the studio and writing gives you a different substantial kind of high that lasts forever, whereas shows are just one night but you can’t beat that one night.”
Any plans to release an acoustic album of any of your songs or covers? @Jmj2022 (Twitter)
“No specific plans but it’s certainly something we’ve been talking about for years now at this point. Because we haven’t been able to get together as a band plugged in, I’ve been doing a lot of acoustic stuff from home. We just released a piano version of House On A Hill, which is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time and I think that turned out really beautiful. I’ve got to work with some amazing friends and musicians; Alain Johannes and I covered Chris Cornell’s The Keeper together, I also got to work with Matt Cameron and we recorded Halfway There by Soundgarden. Things are happening that wouldn’t have come about if we were on tour.”

Chapter 29 - You Love me So Hard
Dusseldorf Germany, April 16 1990
(Andi is 20, Chris is 25)
ANDI: Sitting at the back of the large tour bus, I place my pen in between my lips and flip through my planner going over everything that's planed for the European leg of the tour. It's the first time as their manager that I will be overseeing everything on this tour and I'm so damn nervous. I want everything to go as smoothly as possible especially without any sort of hiccups on my end. I brought my two favorite guitars with me, my '59 Sunburst Gibson and the '90 re-issue of the Sparkle Silver Gretsch Duo Jet that I got for my birthday. Chris has the '81 black Gibson Standard with all his gear, so hopefully these two will keep me a calm and collected as possible. I even brought my shitty little amp on the bus which made Jason laugh. I still have no idea why he's such a dick to me sometimes. I have to admit though, I have no clue what I am doing. Susan said that I could call her at anytime if I needed any help but I want to be able to do this on my own. She's my best friend and I do not want to let her down.
"Hey baby," Chris says as he slides open the divider. I flip over another page and glance up at him.
"Hermph... ah, hey," I say as I fumble with the pen forgetting that it was between my lips. Chris laughs as he moves over to me and flops down on the couch beside me, flipping his curls out of his face and leans to look over my shoulder. He smells of fresh cologne and aftershave, his face completely smooth, not a hint of stubble anywhere.
"What'cha doin'?" He asks resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Just going over the schedule, making notes... you know, boring stuff," I say as I make a few scribblings with my pen on the pages.  He then reaches over and takes my left hand, distracting me for just a moment and I glance at him raising my eyebrow at him.
"Hey, it's healing pretty good," He says examining the freshly inked tattoo on my ring finger- a simple design for now until it's completed once we actually get married - and places his lips there.
"It better... fucking hurt like a bitch," I say and Chris laughs then reaches for my hips to pull me into his lap, I touch my forehead to his and see his necklace with the silver ring that Andy had given him that also had the diamond engagement ring that Chris gave to me. I then begin to play with both of them between my fingers, and I suddenly felt this horrible sadness seemingly come out of nowhere hitting me in the chest like a ton of bricks. Losing Andy still hurts so much.
"You put my ring with his?" I ask.
"Yea... I uh, wanted to keep it with me," He says softly and places his lips to my temple.
"I miss him," My voice breaks.
"Me too baby... me too," He says and  moves to brush his lips across mine, pulling me in closer and I respond.
His hands move back down and around my back, his fingers trailing up under my loosely fitted Dead Kennedy's tank top, skipping across my skin. It's amazing how in one moment I feel such horrible pain and as soon as he touches me, I quickly forget, relishing in his comfort and knowing that he is the only one who feels the way I do.
Suddenly the bus comes to a stop and Chris slowly pulls away from me, looking confused at where we are.
"Shit, what time is it?" I ask as I move myself from his embrace and make my way over to the window. We had pulled into a large parking lot behind the small club and see a handful of people standing outside the back entrance.
"Sound check time," Chris says as he rises from the couch and pulls open the divider. I quickly grab my planner and follow Chris off the bus with Kim, Matt and Jason in tow.
"Alright, so... I'm gonna go and find the promoter, hopefully they speak some English, and I'll meet you guys inside?" I say as I jump down off the last step of the bus. They all nod at me with Chris giving me the cutest smirk as he leans down and places a quick kiss on my lips. I reach up and place my hand on his cheek, feeling the incredible softness of his smooth skin, then break away to head to the front of the club to find the promoter.
*****
"Ze show needz to be tame ya? Tame..." the German promotor re-iterates to me as we stand backstage and just down the hall from the dressing rooms while Chris's voice soars during their soundcheck.
"Ok but... I don't know how tame you expect it to be, since you have..." I trail off and glance down at the page in my planner to see who Soundgarden was opening for. "Nichts playing after them,"
I had no idea if I was even saying the band name right but from what was written on my planner, they are a sort of gothic Industrial band with a somewhat elaborate stage show.
"Zoundgarden must be tame!" He exclaims in his thick German accent once more, emphasizing by waving his hands around which makes me flinch. He then heads in the opposite direction of the dressing rooms and I'm left standing there wondering what the hell just happened. I exhale and a stray curl flutters up as I close my planner and make my way back to the dressing room, confused.
Must be tame? What the hell?
Once I enter the dressing room, I set my planner down on the table and walk over to the mini bar to make myself a drink. I'm feeling frustrated and nervous all at the same time and since my guitar is on the bus, I can't quite pick up and just play while I'm supposed to be working. I'm starting to feel like I might slip and I don't want to at all if I can help it, so instead I pull out a bottle of Jack Daniels, a shot glass and a can of diet coke - I don't really like diet coke but I'll drink it if there's nothing else - and I pour myself a shot hoping it will calm my nerves a little bit.
"Hey baby... you wanna pour me one too?" Chris says as he enters the dressing room raising his eyebrow at me with that mischievous smirk like he caught me doing something I shouldn't be doing. I knock back the first one as he wanders over to me, feeling that sweet but sour burn trickle down my throat and I set the shot glass back down to pull out another shot glass.
"Sure," I say with my voice caught in my throat and pour him a shot. He laughs as he places his hand on the small of my back and I hand him over the dark liquid in the shot glass.  He brings it up to his lips, waiting for me to pour mine and once I do, I turn and hold mine up with him pushing my curls out of my eyes.
"On Three?" He says with that same smirk.
"Uh huh," I say and take a deep breath.
"And... Three," We both say at the same time, and I clink my glass to his while we both knock them back at the same time. He flinches just a bit and I open the can of diet coke and take a sip.
"Shit that was... sour," Chris winces and I giggle.
"Yea, I think the bottle's been open for a while," I try to contain my wince. Normally I can just drink it straight like water, but this bottle - jeeze.
"You guys finished with soundcheck?" I ask as I pass him the can of diet coke.
"Yea I think my voice is warmed up enough... I need a smoke though," He says looking around the room and spotting his leather jacket on the couch. He takes a sip and passes it back to me, quickly placing his lips on my temple, then moving over to grab his cigarettes out of the side pocket of his jacket. I take another sip of diet coke as I watch him light one up, taking a drag and squinting his eyes from the rising smoke.
"Alright I think that case of beer in the fridge is calling my name," Matt says as he bounds through the door with Kim following behind. Matt smiles at me as I step aside and he grabs a couple for us, handing me one.
"Andi," Matt says sweetly and clinks his beer to mine. I was already feeling a lot more relaxed from those two shots I just had but I obviously don't want to be rude so I take a sip.
"Where's Jason?" I ask.
"He stepped outside for a smoke I think," Kim says lighting up a cigarette and then taking a sip of his beer. I'll never understand why Jason always just wants to be off by himself. I needed to go over with them just how the promotor wants the show to run and it doesn't make it easy when Jason just decides to take off outside.
We all end up hanging out for a little while with Jason still outside somewhere, Kim and Matt making me laugh with their usual wittiness, and Chris just obviously being Chris and becoming playful and silly too. Especially when he decided to grab me from the couch and pull me down on top of him to tickle me to get me to lighten up a bit. In the midst of him pulling me down on him, I spill my beer getting it all over myself and even though Chris doesn't care, I really didn't want to smell like beer.
"Oh no baby, are you mad?" Chris laughs as I attempt to push myself up from him and try to hold the bottle of beer.
"No," I say flatly pressing my lips together and holding out the bottle so I don't spill any more of it while Kim and Matt laugh along with Chris.
"I don't know, I think she might be a little mad," Kim chuckles and takes a sip.
"No, no I'm not mad at all. I'm just thinking about how... I get you back!" I shout and pour the rest of my beer all over Chris then quickly escape his arms laughing.
"Andrea!" Chris half laughs but I could tell he wasn't expecting me to do that. He sits up and tries to dry the liquid that was all over him, flipping his curls out of his face and squinting at me.
"Fuck man... you sure you want to marry her?" Kim chuckles.
"Hey!" I say and Kim flinches but starts to laugh which makes me laugh.
"I'm not so sure now," Chris says giving a slight chuckle as he rises from the couch and removes his black T-Shirt.
"Gee thanks," I reply sarcastically placing my hands on my hips and Chris laughs again.
Suddenly there was a knock at the dressing room door. I turn and open the door to see the German promoter once again as he looks at me up and down.
"You uh, Ze Zoundgarden?" He says and the guys look at me.
"Yes, um... this is um, Kim and Matt... sorry I don't know where Jason is... and that's Chris over there," I say apprehensively and gesture towards Chris as he dabs his bare chest off with a towel.
"Ok, Ze crowd iz showing up so... good to go?" He asks in his broken English.
"Yes, we're ready," I re-assure him.
"Ok, remember... must be tame ya? Tame," He says to me once again and I could feel the confused looks from the guys as the promotor walks away.
"What the hell was that about?" Chris asks as I close the door.
"Oh, nothing... he just doesn't want you to um... you know, be better than the headliner. He wants you to keep it tame, don't take off your shirt, don't climb the rafters... you know, the usual," I say nonchalantly and push my curls behind my ear.
"Uh huh," Chris says flatly and raises his eyebrow at me.
"Chris?" I ask. I could tell the wheels were turning in his head.
"Well I guess we're just gonna have to give them a show they'll never forget," Chris smirks while Matt and Kim sip their beers.
Why do I have a feeling Chris is up to something?
*****
"...Fuck it! Time to wake Up!" Chris yells into the mic while Kim starts the into to 'Head Injury' and I stand off to the side of the stage while I watch the entire crowd stand there staring up at the band with no emotion and no reaction at all. Most of them are along the sides of the venue, some of them in the middle of the floor and almost every single one just staring up at Chris, clearly not liking what they are doing.
I glance around behind me and I see no trace of the promoter at all, but once I turn back to watch Chris, he jumps off Matt's drum riser and somehow knees himself in the face.
"Oh Shit," I say though the band can't hear me at all but I see Chris recover as if nothing happened but his nose is actually starting to bleed.
Chris obviously not even caring at all continues to circle around the stage with Kim off to the one side glancing at him every once and a while as Chris continues to scream into the mic, bloody face and all. I have never see him do anything like this at all and I've seen some crazy Soundgarden shows.
"You got a kiss for me, it's sweet and frail! You got a fist for me, sure to impale! My hand on my head, your words are like arrows, My hand on my head, my mind growing narrrrroowww!!" Chris wails into the mic as he continues to circle, completely lost in the energy of the song, ripping his shirt off and throwing it off somewhere and still no one in the crowd is giving him any sort of reaction at all.
"No! I told you I said tame... TAME!" I suddenly hear the promoter behind me screaming waving his hands around. I try to tell the promoter that I had no idea they were going to do this but he wasn't having it at all.
"You got a kiss for me, it hits me hard! You got a fist for me, you love me so hard! My hands on my head, your words are like arrows! My hands on my head, my mind growing narrow.....! Head, head, head, head, head HEEEEAAADDDD!!!!" Chris screams and throws the mic stand into the crowd.
I watch as the mic stand hits the floor and slides across like a spear, landing at the far end of the back wall where some people quickly moved out of the way but still look up at Chris like they weren't impressed at all. Kim Matt and Jason all stop playing once the song reached the end - obviously, and Chris stood there on stage, his mess of curls completely covering his bloody face while he pants trying to catch his breath. Normally they would be doing some sort of feedback ending but I've never heard them end a set with 'Head Injury' before. Then slowly the crowd starts to 'Boo' and all I could do was stand there.
****
"You will never be allowed here again, I promise you that - "
"I'm sorry, I had no idea that -" I start but the promoter once again cuts me off.
"Never again!" He shouts at me as Chris walks up to us backstage and Kim, matt and Jason pass by heading back to the dressing room.
"What the hell is going on here?" Chris asks concerned as he dabs a towel to his face. His nose had stopped bleeding a long while ago but he was still a little messed up from it.
"You! I said no extreme... I want you out! Out!" The promoter yells at Chris in his broken English but Chris just gives him a defiant look and a smirk indicating he was pleased with himself. I just wanted to crawl under the stage and never come out.
"-ok, ok we're leaving, I swear... come on, lets get back on the bus," I say and grab Chris's bicep and attempt to lead him backstage so that we can get the hell out of here.
"No babe, This guy's a piece of shit for yelling at you the whole time," Chris says staring the promoter down.
"I want you OUT!" The promoter shouts once more.
"Or what? - " Chris challenges.
"Chris, come on," I say as I pull on his arm trying to lead him back to the dressing room. As I finally break up the argument that should have never taken place I am finally able to lead Chris back to the dressing room to quickly grab the rest of our stuff and see that Kim Matt and Jason have already piled outside to get on the bus. I barely speak a word to him as I throw his leather jacket at him and pick up my planner making sure there was no other trace of us being there.
Once we make it onto the bus Chris continues to wipe his face and pleads with me to talk to him but I'm so pissed off and frustrated with him that I can't even think of anything to say.
"Babe... wait... hey," He calls after me as I hop up onto the bus and he follows behind me.
"... is there something wrong? Did you happen to experience some brain damage when you hit your face somehow?" I ask angered turning around to face Chris as Kim and Matt sit on opposite sides of the couch, looking like they were trying to avoid the fight that was about to take place between Chris and I.
"Andi I was just - " Chris starts standing there shirtless in the middle of the bus isle.
"You were just what?! What were you trying to do?! Make everything worse? Because if that was your goal well you sure as shit did a great job in doing so!" I shout. I couldn't help it.
Why does he have to be so defiant with people sometimes? Why does he always have to prove a point when someone tells him not to do something?
"That guy was a dick and he was acting like an ass towards you and everyone else," Chris says.
"So?" I say.
"So? What do you mean 'so'?" Chris chuckles sarcastically and I could tell by the look on Matt and Kim's faces that they felt extremely awkward being in the middle of our fight.
"I mean I was handling it. Yea he was a dick but so what? I don't need you to save me each time some asshole gives me a hard time alright?" I shout back as I walk towards the back of the bus, slamming the divider door shut.

Amber Heard Plastic Surgery Before as well as After
Tumblr media
At least that's what Dr. Julian De Silva, a London-based cosmetic surgeon, concluded when he examined the 33-year-old's features using computer mapping modern technology.
" The Phi ratio of 1.618 has actually long been believed to hold the trick for elegance," he states. After determining Amber and other superstars across 12 essential pens for the nose, lips, eyes, temple, chin, and facial symmetry and form, he discovered that Amber came closest to the old Greek principles for physical perfection thanks to cosmetic surgery! Visit Website and see pictures before and after plastic surgery!
" [She] has one of the most lovely faces in the world, racking up a high 91.85 percent."
Certainly, a cosmetic surgeon greater than any person would recognize that the supposed "best" face proportions can be accomplished by going under the knife. Interestingly sufficient, Dr. De Silva's formula scored Kim Kardashian 91.39 percent, as well as most of us, recognize there's nothing all-natural regarding her!
So did Amber additionally have a little aid? Allow's learn!
Amber in 2005
Tumblr media
Our first shot was from back in 2005 when Brownish-yellow was 19 years old. She's got the same dirty blonde hair color, the same eyes, and also the very same lovely skin. What's various compared to now? I think it's generally to do with her mouth. We can see that her top lip was naturally a lot thinner than the reduced one, for starters.
Amber in 2006
Tumblr media
In this more front-facing shot from 2006, we get a far better consider her initial nose. It appears a little broader and extra noticeable compared to more recent photos. Additionally, her smile doesn't have that "Hollywood" look yet; I think since she has a little bit of an overbite. Keep in mind the thinner brows, which got on the pattern back then.
Amber in 2007
Tumblr media
In 2007, Brownish-yellow was still undressed (I think!). I'm rather sure I would not have acknowledged her in this shot. Again, the distinction is all in the mouth-- her overbite is triggering her teeth to protrude over her reduced lip slightly, and also, her top lip isn't almost as full. The makeup is additionally rinsing her complexion. I assume the structure is too matte and grainy and can make use of some measurement from bronzer or flush.
Amber in 2008
Tumblr media
In 2008, she cycled via several hair colors. First, it was back to her natural dirty blonde-- however, styled in these stiff, retro curls. (There was a genuine old Hollywood moment around this moment, do you keep in mind? Scarlett Johansson made use of to use this type of appearance too!) Brownish-yellow's teeth are additionally brighter, although there are many more changes to find. When it comes to the "bunny lines" close to her nose, sometimes those can occur from Botox. However, she was only 22 at this time ... hmmm!
Amber in 2009
Tumblr media
The black hair had actually faded right into this deep brownish by the list below year, which Amber paired with a spray tan and spiky false lashes. From this angle, I see two points. She still has that minor overbite appearance (which she does not have currently). Plus, her nose still has the same little bump on the bridge, similar to 2007.
Amber in 2010
Tumblr media
After that came one more significant change in 2010. To accompany her initial film functions as the women lead (in Drive Angry and The Rum Diary), she upgrades both her hair color and makeup. This warm blonde is a lot kinder to her complexion, and the great smoky eyes and flushed cheeks are tranquil. I don't think she altered anything additional regarding her features at this time ... yet stay tuned!
Amber in 2011
Tumblr media
The list below year, Amber was a blonde once more, but this time around, it looks a lot extra brightened. Although I'm still not fascinated by the color, the smooth styling makes her appearance equally the star. One more monitoring: spray tans were a whole lot extra obvious in this age! The same chooses the makeup, which is heavy-handed. When it comes to her teeth, they're whiter and brighter than ever before. She had veneers because the shapes and sizes are different from 2008.
Amber in 2012
Tumblr media
At age 26, Amber had yet an additional hair color change, and also, this one's my favorite of all, a warm medium brown. I can bear in mind caring about this at the time, and I really feel the same way already! Orange lipstick was a huge trend that year, as well as Brownish-yellow is using it with attractive fresh skin. Her eyebrows have actually also completed rather, compared to 2006. But there could be something else adding to this look ... a little tweak to her nose. Bear in mind; celebrities typically change their hair at the same time to toss us off!
Amber in 2013
Tumblr media
Amber's redhead hair was just as gorgeous in 2013. I really did a double-take with this photo-- initially, look, I thought it was Miranda Kerr! You have to admit that she looks extremely modelesque with the marginal makeup and side-swept, brushed-out waves.
Amber in 2014
Tumblr media
I think 2014 was the year that Brownish-yellow truly "made it" as a star, ending up being a regular on the red carpet. The first thing that leaps out in this image is her top lip. Does it look fuller because the edge has been overdrawn with lip lining? Or did she have a little something infused? I'm not sure!
Amber in 2015
Tumblr media
Okay, by 2015, I definitely assume Brownish-yellow was messing around with hyaluronic acid lip shots. See just how the bottom side of her top lip is quite lumpy? She also had this very same expression in 2007, and also, her top lip did not have this much fullness. I believe she finally arrived at her "Life Colour" with this blonde in other news. She has remained near to this color since!
Amber in 2016
Tumblr media
Does Brownish-yellow get prettier and also prettier or what? She was 30 in this image, and I'm enjoying the off-the-face updo as well as glowy makeup. Red lipstick has actually started to become her point currently (it additionally makes lip injections less obvious!). You'll see that her mouth setting appears a lot more loosened up, perhaps since her teeth are no more protruding as much.
Amber in 2017
Tumblr media
Hair and makeup always boost considerably as individuals climb the celeb ladder, and this appearance is no exemption. The tousled beachy hair, great brown smoky eyes, shaded brows, contoured cheeks, and matte tarnished lips are all extremely innovative (and were no question implemented by specialists). Notice how her top lip now matches the dimension of her lower one.
Amber in 2018
Tumblr media
With a streamlined ponytail as well as red lipstick, this ensemble was perhaps Amber's most developed look today. See what I indicate about the red lipstick camouflaging the plumped-up lip( s)? Although she is putting on a heavier layer of the structure, the makeup is excellent. Her face also appears a lot more angular currently, possibly from age, weight-loss, or tension. Honestly, I think she looks a little tired. (Stars! They're just like us!).
Amber in 2019
Tumblr media
That brings us to Amber's latest pic-- and even with red lipstick, these lips stick out. They're absolutely the plumpest she's needed today, as well as are what obtained me thinking of this Before & After, to begin with! Fortunately, they're balanced by extremely, very little makeup, an off-the-face hairstyle, and her max eyebrows yet.
Conclusion
Tumblr media
Before I started this Before & After, I thought Brownish-yellow underwent a few cosmetic tweaks to rack up so high with Dr. De Silva's algorithm.
Specifically, I believed a nose job-- similar to the majority of celebs we have actually looked at in this column. Now that I've analyzed her red carpet images, I still think that procedure. But this is just one of the more difficult instances to inform without a doubt!
With her face angled sideways, there's not a considerable distinction in her account over the years, except perhaps a much less forecasted suggestion. When she's facing the electronic camera, she could have had some traditional sculpting to tighten her nostrils and develop a more button-like idea.
Something I bank on, nonetheless-- Amber made huge modifications to her lips as well as teeth!
There's no denying that she explores lip injections these last few years to boost her upper lip's dimension.
What made the largest difference was addressing her protruding teeth, probably with something like Invisalign's undetectable dental braces. Currently, when she smiles, her teeth no more overlap her bottom lip. She additionally has a much whiter, more even smile, likely because of a combination of teeth lightening and porcelain veneers.
When we consider plastic surgery, we do not generally think about aesthetic dentistry, yet Brownish-yellow's Before & After goes to show you exactly how transformative it can be!
