During the Nintendo Direct, they announced that Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games will be available today for Nintendo Switch Online. The games available today are:

I LOVE the older Zelda games

I got the Nintendo switch + membership at the end of last year because I wanted to try some of the older ones. I started the first one and gave up (for now) because my WORD it’s hard! I thought everyone was being overdramatic but nope! I did the first four dungeons but the first two Zelda games will be saved for later.

I also started ALTTP and I’m having a lot of fun with it! I’m in love with the graphics and colours! I think I only have four dungeons to go include the castle at the end.

I’m also doing Majora’s mask despite owning the 3d version. It’s just a lot of fun and my sisters have never seen it before so now they can watch and get creeped out :P

I just started Oracle of seasons and like, it’s so much fun!!! Maybe I’m just a sucker for old games despite never owning one (I don’t think the LA remake counts, does it?) but I’m really enjoying myself and I can’t wait for the next Oracle game and the minish cap!

Also, getting to play all of Legends games is exciting and now there is nothing I won’t know about my boy! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!

‼️NOTICE‼️

Hey if you’re someone outside of Japan who wants the Mother 3 icons: it’ll break your NSO (Nintendo Switch Online) and erase your gold coins and any currency within your Eshop account. Your account (as of now) will be permanently stuck on the icon you pick if you switch back to the American region. Changing your NSO or regular icon will result in an error screen. It has no fixes as of 03/07/24.

However if you do desire these: If you go to your Nintendo Online account on the official website, head to user information, and down to edit user information. Under country/region of residence, change it to Japan.

After, it’ll send a confirmation to the email associated with your account where you will need to grab the code from it. Now, go onto your switch and open the NSO, it’ll ask you to enter your password and the code you received and will reset your switch.

From here, go back to your NSO and it should be reset to the Japanese layout. Afterwards, just use your silver points and purchase the icons you desire.

Update: As of the morning of 03/07/24 it seems as if the NSO bug has been fixed and you can now use the icons on your USA NSO however you will still need to purchase them on the Japan NSO

(Let it be known I’m stuck as the frog with a balloon it almost seems worth it but I miss my splatoon icons)
