Music
Tumblr media
Raymundo Cipriano Pujante Cayabyab, known professionally as Ryan Cayabyab, is a Filipino musician, composer and conductor. He was the Executive and Artistic Director for several years for “The defunct San Miguel Foundation for the Performing Arts” and won a lot of awards on his career. He was born on May 4,1954 at Sta. Cruz Manila, Philippines.
Kumukutikutitap
The song “Kumukutikutitap” was originally for choir, so since the song wasn’t used, I gave it to the Singers’ Foundation to learn for their Christmas caroling fund-raising activity. The Singers’ Foundation choir included it in their repertoire starting Christmas of 1984.” Members of that group included many big-name OPM singers during that time – Celeste Legaspi, Basil Valdez, Leah Navarro, The Apo Hiking Society, Rico Puno, Marco Sison, Nonoy Zuniga, Eugene Villaluz, Louie Reyes, Pat Castillo, Jacqui Magno, Tillie Moreno. Even the duo of Subas Herrero and Noel Trinidad joined the group, plus the backup singers Babsie Molina and most of her colleagues, and these people are great singers and has been my idol when it comes to OPM. After the song was performed, and all and the other choirs who heard the song asked for a copy of the choral score. As the years passed, the song became a staple of choirs every Yuletide season.
What I truly admire and has been the song that keeps on playing especially on Christmas Eve even though It is old and outdated. This song doesn’t just add a playful skip to our walk, it makes us meander and enter the magical and most wonderful time of the year – Christmas time! The lyrics of the song are almost like yummy and delightful tongue twisters, matched with a bouncy and animated melody. This song made me feel happy every time I sing it. I want the people to go back, take a look or should I say listen to our music as Filipinos, appreciate and thank our artists not just on music, but all the artists in our country. Because what we have and what they did is a masterpiece that needs to be remembered always.

MARY JOSEPHINE GOMEZ and EUGENIA SOCORRO C. GOMEZ-SALCEDO
vs. ROEL, NOEL and JANNETTE BEVERLY STA. INES and HINAHON STA. INES
G.R. No. 132537October 14, 2005
Art. 153. The family home is deemed constituted on a house and lot from the time it is occupied as a family residence. From the time of its constitution and so long as any of its beneficiaries actually resides therein, the family home continues to be such and is exempt from execution, forced sale or attachment except as hereinafter provided and to the extent of the value allowed by law. (223a)
Art. 154. The beneficiaries of a family home are:
(1) The husband and wife, or an unmarried person who is the head of a family; and
(2) Their parents, ascendants, descendants, brothers and sisters, whether the relationship be legitimate or illegitimate, who are living in the family home and who depend upon the head of the family for legal support. (226a)
FACTS:
Rice property in Nueva Vizcaya was given to Marietta dela Cruz Sta by Purificacion dela Cruz Gomez (dead), the mother of Mary Josephine C. Gomez and Eugenia Socorro C. Gomez-Salcedo. Ines. When Marietta was in charge of the rice fields, Josephine and Socorro sought an accounting of the harvest as well as the return of the Transfer Certificate Title (TCT) for the land.
Marietta was found guilty by the trial court, and it was mandated that she hand over the owner's copy of the TCT and pay restitution. A writ of execution was issued in order to collect damages, and as a result, a plot of land in Nueva Vizcaya registered in Marietta's name was auctioned at a public auction, with Josephine placing the highest price. Hinahon, Marietta's husband, and their children filed a complaint with the Nueva Vizcaya Regional Trial Court (RTC) seeking the cancellation of the sale on the grounds that the house and lot that was sold at public auction was their home and was therefore exempt from execution under Article 155 of the Family Code. Respondents assert that the house and lot was constituted jointly by Hinahon and Marietta as their family home from the time they occupied it in 1972
ISSUE:
Whether or not the property can be sold.
RULING:
Yes. The family home is protected from execution, forced sale, or attachment under article 155 of the Family Code, according to the Supreme Court, with the exception of debts committed before the family home was established. While the respondent maintains that the house and land was constituted jointly by Hinahon and Marietta as their family home in 1972, it is not regarded constituted as such at the time Marietta accumulated her obligations.
According to established legal precedent, it can only be considered to have been established as the family residence when the Family Code went into effect on August 3, 1988. Marietta's liability started years before the levied property was designated as the family residence in 1988 because the case against her was filed in 1986 for actions taken as early as 1977. Marietta's debt comes under the exception described in Article 155 of the Family Code: obligations accrued before the establishment of the family home.

Star of Wonder
flickr
Star of Wonder by Donald F. Narcissump Via Flickr: The Fourth “King” The seldom heard about fourth “King” to arrive at the nativity, to witness the birth of Jesus was none other than “King” Narcissump. In truth he was no king but self-appointed. He fooled hundreds of thousands with his tall tales and was incapable of telling any truths. He had multiple wives and many, many children. Narcissump overheard the Angel tell the three Kings of the Birth of Jesus and followed them into Nazareth. It was there that he approached the child but upon seeing him exclaimed, “This is the birthplace for a King? A stable? Lying in a manger? “ and with that Narcissump turned his back on Jesus and went to hire a prostitute for the evening. Photographed with a repainted and restyled Holiday Grainger as Mary and Richard Madden (also rooted hair) as Joseph by Noel Cruz. The Book: NARCISSUMP The Malignancy Killing Democracy is available as a PDF, on iTunes as an ebook or hardcover or soft.
Destacan: "El mar", "Punto de mira" ("One of the Hollywood Ten"), "Sagitario", "Al sur de Granada", "Los Borgia" y "La caja".
