Floating Through The Air With The Greatest of Ease...
Ship: None / Potential Keaton x Willie, familial appearances from Lisa & Bart
Word Count: 751
Summary: This is, perhaps, a little silly. I wrote it at roughly 2:15am. 🙈 Anyway, Keaton comes to pick up his godkids (Bart & Lisa) from school and ends up foolishly trying to play hero when he is involved in a mishap with a frisbee. CWs for heights and potential danger, also possibly ooc Willie it's been awhile since I've watched an episode with him in it. And potentially bad Scots I tried my best-

Keaton stood beside his car, parked outside of Springfield Elementary, waiting for his godkids. While Bart and Lisa would normally take the bus to and from school, the Simpsons’ household had gotten a call that the busses had broken down and would be an hour later than usual. Luckily the kids had a vigilant godfather who would happily pick them up from school so that Marge could have a little extra time to prepare dinner. As the final bell rung, he eagerly scanned the approaching crowd for Bart and Lisa before whistling and waving to them.
“Kids! Over here!”
“K, what’re you doing here?” Lisa called as they approached.
“The busses broke down and are going to be late, so your mother said I could come pick you up.”
“Hey K, catch!” Bart grinned, sending a frisbee flying toward Keaton, who caught it at the last second.
“Nice throw, Bart, but could you please not throw anything within the vicinity of my car?” Absentmindedly, he tossed it back. Unfortunately, the wind caught it and took it off course… “Whoops…!”
As the disc soared onto the roof of the school building, Keaton heard a groan of irritation and quickly turned toward the sound with an embarrassed tint on his face.
"Are ye kiddin me?! Ah juist git doon from thare, ye bloody numpty!" An annoyed and scruffy-looking man lamented.
"Nice one!" Bart encouraged, looking up at where the frisbee had lodged itself.
"Er, sorry Mr…?"
"Willie, bit if ye'r aff tae be sae formal aboot it, ye kin ca' me Mr. MacDougal."
"Well, what would you prefer?"
Willie fixed him with a strange look, scratching at his beard. "Ah'd prefer if ye hud better aim, laddie!"
Keaton nodded, still flushed. "Yes, sir. I-I never was very good at sports… I could go up and get it myself, if you’d prefer. Save you the trouble. After all, I see you still have the ladder set up." He began his way over to the side of the building without waiting for a response.
"K, wait, you could get hurt! You don't have authorization to be on the school roof!" Lisa called after him.
"She's richt, ye ken!"
"Groundskeeper Willie, tell him to come down, please!"
"Weel he shored tae git it his-sel. Th' lad's bin oan a ladder afore, hasn't he?"
The conversation on the ground was far behind Keaton at this point as he shimmied up the ladder and closer and closer to the spot the disc had landed. If he had stopped to think about it for even a second, he would’ve panicked.
“I’m almost there!” He called over his shoulder before cautiously yet precariously extending himself toward the disc.
“Good lord--!” Principal Skinner had come onto the scene, quickly prompting Bart to climb into the car to avoid talking to him. “Willie, what is that civilian doing on our school’s roof?!”
“Technically he's nae oan th' roof, he's oan th' ladder. He shored tae git th' frisbee he threw by his-sel!” Willie threw his hands up in defeat.
“Principal Skinner, tell Willie to get my godfather down!” Lisa begged, looking concernedly up at Keaton.
“I-I got it, don’t worry!” Keaton called down again, the ladder wobbling slightly as he missed the frisbee by inches. At this, Willie’s expression became a bit more wary.
“Ach, mibbie ye shuid come doon, laddie! Tis nae that muckle o' a deal, ah kin git it!”
“Well you made it sound like a ‘muckle o’ a deal!’ I promise you, I’m close! Just a little further--”
“Dinnae ye sass me, laddie! Come doon this instant, afore Skinner haes an aneurysm!”
“I-- I--!” Just as Keaton’s fingers clamped down on the frisbee, the ladder swayed violently. Yelping, Keaton began to fall. Lisa screamed and Principal Skinner gasped, but in a swift movement Willie sprung into action, simultaneously losing his shirt and revealing extremely well-toned muscles.
“I gotcha laddie!”
“Ouff!”
As Keaton fell into Willie’s outstretched arms, the ladder fell off to the side, narrowly missing any more potential victims. Trembling and pale-faced, Keaton slowly opened his eyes.
“Are ye doolally, laddie!?” Willie barked as Keaton absently pawed at his muscular shoulder, affirming that he was indeed alive.
“Perhaps just a little bit,” he answered in a woozy tone, blinking rapidly. “You didn’t exactly tell me not to.”
“Ah thought ye'd chaynge yer mynd halfway! Who oan earth are ye???”
Keaton dropped the frisbee on the ground. “Keaton B. Hooligan. Nice to meet you.” And promptly passed out.

Those Side Characters - Everyone Good Kdrama Needs Support!
Those Side Characters – Everyone Good Kdrama Needs Support!
Who are you favourite supporting actors? Those actors that add the sugar or spice to make a kdrama perfect. The ones that make everything funnier and sweeter. Park Jin Joo This woman steals every scene from all of the leads. She has a stacked list of Kdramas. Her character in every show always made me wish she had a lead or a main role. She usually plays the sassy carefree friend. My favourite…

The Unbearable Lightness of Dating” (2006).

The Last Princess
I have said this before, but I will say it again. There is a different between historical fiction/film and nonfiction biographical accounts / documentaries. They both tell historical stories but fictional accounts are that - fictional and the writer / director has license to change details in order to move the plot. Nonfiction bases the story telling on facts and in order to be highly valuable, it should never deviate from the truth. They must recount the story as it really happened.
Yim Seung Hye in an article for the Korean JoongAng Daily states that the film is based on the novel Princess Deok Hye by Kwon Bi Young. Therefore, we can’t go into this movie, believing everything we see. Like good historical fiction, the film does show main events in her life accurately but the Princess Deok Hye we see in the film - based on the articles I’ve read - is far from the real one.
Still, when we look at the story and not at the person it was based on it, we can say that it is a beautiful story. How many historical dramas we watch with fictional characters that inspire us to fight for what we believe in and to be better people? Many. And I’ve watched a couple of the historical series set in the historical period in which Princess Deok Hye lived in and I can feel their pain and hope. Political relationships are very complicated and people from the same country can view things differently. And this event is still too recent in Korea’s collective memory and I won’t attempt to assume anything.
Nothing is as black and white as things are depicted in historical fiction, where the narrator’s voice dictates who is the good guy and who is the bad one. It doesn’t show the grayish area that we live in the real world. This film follows the tradition of the good vs the bad in historical films and the fictional Princess Deok Hye is a strong female character who was crashed by those that wanted to silence her voice. So, taking the story as what it is - fiction - I say that I truly liked it. The struggles, loyalties and pain felt real to me and I was able to feel empathy for those characters who were trying so hard to fight against the current and were able to see the day when their homeland was free at last.
Great movie, beautifully executed.

Hogmanay and First Footing.
After the Bells at Hogmanay in ordinary times many Scots would then grab a few things together, in my days it would be your New Year bottle and maybe some shortbread, you would then go First Footing.
The term literally means the "first foot to step into a house after midnight is still common in Scotland. This is still full of tradition and even superstition. In order to ensure good luck for the house, the first foot over the door should be male, dark; traditionally they should take symbolic gifts such as a lump of coal, shortbread, salt, black bun and whisky. Blonds & redheads, and especially females with this hair colouring first-footers were considered bad luck.
The gifts meant the household would be safe and warm and have enough food for the year. These days, however, whisky and perhaps shortbread and the famous black bun are the most common gifts first-footers take. Of course most hosts would have plenty of food and drink in to offer to their guests.
When I was a youngster, we used to go first footing around the parents of my friends, often not get home until the wee small hours. I remember feeling more like an adult, aged about 16 and being welcomed in, special memories spending time with the likes of my mums best friend Nicky Bruce, who would more often than not be at her mother's house, Phemie. One of the other houses was that of Grace Fortune, who always had the best home made soup to warm us up before we traipsed to the next house, usually my Uncle Findlay and Auntie Margaret just down the street, I can still remember the route we used to take and all the houses we visited.
For others the party went on until the next day, or even the day after that, one of the best parties was always a couple in Park Avenue, where we lived, it was always one of the last of the New Year ones, Ann Tytler and John Hyslop had the best music, and was within easy falling home distance at the end of the night.
In the years that followed when I lived in Edinburgh First Footing wasn't as prevalent as in the towns and villages, people in Edinburgh used to gather at the Tron Kirk for "the bells" but The City usually now lay on a street extravaganza on Princes Street with concerts from top artists and a firework display from the Castle. I am not a great fan of massive crowds so I missed the more personal days at Loanhead, people singing the auld songs and reciting a few verses of Rabbie Burns, happier days indeed.
I've looked out a few old Hogmanay rhymes from the auld times...........
‘Get up, goodwife, and shake your feathers,
And dinna think that we are beggars;
For we are bairns come out to play
Get up and gie‘s our hogmanay!’
--------------
“A guid New Year to ane an` a` and mony may ye see!”
--------------
“Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.”
---------------
“Open the door for the auld year
/ It is the pairtin-time:
/ Open the door for the new year “
----------------
We’ve three bonnie bottles, but the third ane’i toom,
Gin the road ran whisky, it’s mysel’ wad soom ! *
But we’ll stan’ while we can, an’ be dancin’ while we may,
For there’s twa we hae to finish, an’ it’s Hogmanay.
-----------------
“My glass is filled, my pipe is lit,
My den is all a cosy glow;
And snug before the fire I sit,
And wait to feel the old year go”
------------------
“Wi’ muckle glee, but little din,
At doors the lassies sentries keep,
To let the first-fit in.
Nae auld, camshauchled warlock loon,
Nor black, wanchancie carlin
Sall cross ae threshold o’ the toun
Till ilk lass gets her darlin’ person
To kiss that nicht”
--------------------
A Guid New Year I wish thee, Maggie!
Hae, there’s a ripp to thy auld baggie
Tho’ thou’s how-backit now, an knaggie,
I’ve seen the day
Thou could hae gaen like any staggie
Out-owre the lay.
-------------------
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!

Let Me Move You
CHAPTER SEVENTEEN: BEST OF ME
Tumblr media
↳ Pairing: Choi Yeonjun x Reader
↳ word count: 2k words
↳ rating: G
↳ genre: fluff
Tumblr media
The fast-paced beats of music, the hard slam of feet on the floor, the heavy breathing after finishing a routine—all the things she held onto so fondly were gone.
Instead of Beomgyu snoring in one corner during break time, all she could see was some old man doze off in the reading nook. Instead of Kai and Taehyun bickering amongst themselves while giggling, she instead saw two students fight over the last copy of a history textbook. Instead of Soobin munching on bread in the middle of the dance floor, she could only see a middle school student not-so-subtly try to snack quietly as he studied.
Instead of Yeonjun standing behind her, hands on her waist and lips pressed to her ear as he told her about his day, she sat at the reception table waiting for the newly arrived booksto finish their upload into the system. As she watched the progress bar fill up, her thoughts ran wild.
She missed it—she’s not going to lie. Most of all, she missed him. She missed the way his eyes lit up, an ear-splitting smile on his face as they successfully perfected a complicated routine. She missed how he had the habit of pouting when he was concentrating on something. He missed the way he giggled everything he figured something out.
Her phone lit up, interrupting her train of thought. Y/N’s eyes fell down to her phone—a text from her father flashing on the screen, but her eyes locked onto the photo set as the background. It was her, sitting on the dance floor. Soobin stood behind her, doing some weird hand gesture and eyes trained on the ceiling—as if in the middle of explaining. A few feet in front of them was Yeonjun, dancing. In the beanbags by the corner sat Taehyun and Kai, with bottles of banana milk in their hands as Beomgyu slept beside them.
She missed them. She missed them so much.
“Hey, Y/N,” a voice cut her train of thought. “Have you finished filing the books?”
The girl flinched, eyes wide as she faced the woman smiling over at her.
“Ms. Park,” Y/N blinked, looking over at the computer flashin Upload Complete. “I guess I have.”
The woman smiled understandably, gently pushing a cart of books over to the girl.
“Alright, can you take this to the storage room, then?” The woman hummed. “I’ll shelve those for you.”
Y/N smiled gently, standing up and taking the cart. As she walked to the storage room, she can’t help but look at a young couple sitting by the side and laughing silently amongst themselves. Ignoring the slight pang in her heart, she bit her lip and turned to a corner—not stopping until she ended up in front of the storage room.
It wasn’t special. The storage was full of boxes and unlabelled books that were donated. It was old, dusty, abandoned—but what took Y/N’s breath away was the huge mirror on one side of the room. She forgot the storage room was an old dance studio.
The girl smiled softly, leaving the cart to the side and walking slowly over to stand in front of the mirror. She took a soft breath.
“5, 6, 7, 8,” She mumbled to herself as her feet and hands followed the routine perfectly like she practiced.
She danced as if she had a partner—as if Soobin was next to her, ready to lift her over to Yeonjun after three beats like he used to. She danced as if Hueningkai stood in the middle of the room to pull off his designated dance moves with extreme enthusiasm, as if Beomgyu was next to him biting his lip in concentration to perfect his moves, as if Taehyun was there singing under his breath to guide him as he danced.
“4, 3, 2…” She stopped, short of breath as she fell to her feet.
She can’t give this up.
She looked up at the mirror and she could almost remember how Yeonjun would approach her when she got too tired after practicing, always ready with a cold drink and a kiss to the lips as he smile proudly. Her ears rang, straining to hear his “You did so well today, baby,” that never came.
That’s why she picked herself up and ran.
All this time she didn’t know where she would go, but now she knew she’d always run back to him.
Tumblr media
Yeonjun laid on his couch, a frown on his face as he crossed his arms and glared at his face plastered on the television. He knew he would have to face some intrigue when he used his old Daniel account in attempt to reach Y/N—but he never expected this. All week, his phone and social media accounts blew up with reporters and dance fans trying to contact him.
Because that girl from the Emeralds, Sooah, broadcasted his name on one of the twitter replies, he was found by the media on his personal accounts as well.
God, he hated that bitch.
The boy hissed as his phone rang one more.
“What?” Yeonjun hissed. “I’m not interested in an interview.”
“I’m not going to interview you, Yeonjun.” A high-pitched voice giggled. “I’m Sooah, from the Emeralds—“
“Ah, you.”
“You know me?”
“Who wouldn’t?” Yeonjun deadpanned as he closed his television and rubbed his forehead. “Look, I—“
“I’m interested in you.”
“I’m sorry?” Yeonjun raised his eyebrows. “As a choreographer, right?”
“Sure, and the other way around too—but this is a business call. The rest can come later.” Sooah replied back, tone lilting.
Yeonjun sighed.
“Look, I don’t know what to tell you but I’m sure you know my answer.” Yeonjun sighed, groaning as he heard the doorbell ring incessantly. “You kinda ruined my life, Ms. Sooah.”
“Yeonjun—“
“Please call me Daniel, you said this call was business.” Yeonjun replied curtly as he opened the door with a harsh glare. “If this is another interviewer, I’m suing—“
Yeonjun’s eyes widened as his eyes fell on Y/N, hair falling down her face as she panted.
“Hello? Yeonjun?”
“The answer is no. This call is over, Ms. Sooah.” Yeonjun replied curtly, hanging up the phone and narrowing his eyes at the girl leaning on his doorway. “What are you doing here, Y/N?”
The girl held up a finger, catching her breath. Yeonjun’s eyes softened as he grabbed a bottle of water from a nearby table. Y/N smiled gratefully as she took a few sips, caliming down. The boy pursed his lips, crossing his arms as he stared at the girl.
“Why was Sooah calling you?”
“That doesn’t matter” Yeonjun replied, raising an eyebrow. “Why are you here?”
Because, I can’t give this up.” Y/N replied.
“Me?”
“Everything.”
Yeonjun raised an eyebrow.
“I was at work and I was just—I was bringing books tot he storage room—abandoned dance room—“ The girl stumbled over her words as she ran a hand through her hair. “And i just—I don’t know, I danced—all I could think—feel—was to dance with the boys. With you.”
“You were so hell-bent on giving up.” Yeonjun replied. “How sure can I be that you won’t change your mind this time?”
“Yeonjun,” Y/N shook her head softly. “I’m sure.”
“Are you?” Yeonjun asked. “Because you were last time too—but look what happened. You got hurt—I got hurt—The boys got hurt. You said you can’t waste your time—what about the time they spent for this?”
“I’m sorry, I really am.” Y/N pleaded. “But it’s not going to happen this time around, I promise.”
“Why?”
“I thought at first dancing could get me what I wanted, happiness didn’t matter—It was something I could forget when I’m done, but now?” Y/N chuckled. “Jun, dancing got me to you. It made me happy. I like being happy. You make me happy.”
Yeonjun closed his eyes, contemplating as he released a deep breath. In one movement, he grabbed her wrist and pulled her inside the room. He slammed the door shut and crossed his arms, observing her. The girl stood in her spot, fidgeting and biting her lip nervously under his gaze.
“Dancing…” Yeonjun started. “makes you happy?”
“It does.”
“Show me.”
Y/N smiled, turning over to the speakers on the table. She pressed play, excitedly anticipating whatever song would play.
When you say that you love me
Nan haneul wireul geotne
Yeongwoneul malhaejwo
Just one more time
Yeonjun stood to the side, just watching as Y/N danced—following the beat. He watched as a soft smile graced her lips.
When you say that you love me
Nan geu han madimyeon dwae
Byeonhaji anhneundago
Just one more time
Y/N faced him smiling and taking his hand.
Neon naege i segyeui jeonbu gata
Deo sege apeuge nal kkwak kkyeoana
“Oh, I’m joining now?”
“You said to follow my heart, right?” The girl smiled. “It’s with you, remember?”
Uriga nanun something
And you can’t make it nothing
Ijji anhajwosseumyeon hae
Neon nae
Yeonjun tried to stop his smile—he really did—but he couldn’t. Not when the girl spun in his arms and pressed her back against his chest. Not when he finally felt the warmth he’s been missing for weeks. Not when she’s back in his arms.
Haruharu
Yeoreum gaeoul
His hands fell to her hips as they swayed to the soft beat. He leaned down to press his lips on her ear.
“What are you doing?”
Neon mollado
Y/N smiled, taking his wrists and swaying faster—in sync with the music as the pace of the beats went quicker and quicker.
“Following my heart.”
You got the best of me
She turned suddenly, feet following the complicated choreography of the song. She laughed she saw Yeonjun dancing alongside her.
You got the best of me
Yeonjun laughed with her, moves getting faster and faster as they went.
So please just don’t leave me
He reached out to grab her waist, pulling her flush to him with a smile.
You got the best of me
The girl reached up to run her hands through his hair before she leaned up to kiss his lips. Yeonjun stood frozen, hands limply clutching her waist as his eyes widened in surprise. Then he smiled, closing his eyes and deepening the kiss. Y/N pulled away, smiling as Yeonjun slowly opened his eyes.
“Why are you blushing?” She said, giggling while Yeonjun covered his reddening face.
“Shut up.” Yeonjun mumbled, whining as Y/N pried his hands off of his face and replaced it with hers—cupping his cheeks with a soft grin.
“What are the odds of getting the boys back together?” Y/N asked.
“This is seriously happening?” Yeonjun asked, furrowing his eyebrows. “We’re getting the team back together?”
““Well, dancing brings out the best in me, You bring out the best in me. That’s all I know.” Y/N shrugged. “and if it’s something important to me and you, and the boys, then that’s something worth continuing, isn’t it?”
“What about your plan?” Yeonjun asked, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear. “This isn’t in your plan.”
“Not if it takes me away from you,” Y/N only smiled, leaning her forehead on his. “What about you—America—“
“It’ll be hard for them to take me away, I’m back in the spotlight.” Yeonjun mumbled. “I’m not letting them take me away from you again.”
Y/N laughed, looking into his eyes with a soft smile.
“I love you.” Y/N said suddenly, taking his hands. “So, don’t leave.”
Yeonjun smiled as Y/N took his hand, playing with his fingers as she looked down.
“Don’t go to Sooah, even if she’s prettier and a better dancer. Please trust me when I say that I’ll get everything back together.” She looked back up. “I love you.”
Yeonjun only smiled, cupping her face and leaning back down to crash his lips on hers once more. Y/N kissed back, wrapping her arms around his neck once more as she smiled against his lips. Yeonjun pulled away, smiling at her.
“I love you, too.”
Y/N smiled, closing her eyes as he kissed her once more.
So please just don’t leave me
You got the best of me

Notes
**If the lyrics are marked as Member & All, it simply goes to all.  Everyone is singing, but one person’s voice is just a little bit more noticeable than the others.  **
*When two singers sang together, I added it twice for each - but for the percentage and Number of words overall I took it out for the final count.  So It goes towards the personal members records and not the overall for the song.**
IF YOU WOULD LIKE A SONG PLEASE LET ME KNOW (CURRENTLY JUST DOING SONGS I LIKE OR WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT)

𝓟𝓪𝓲𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰: NCT 127 x OC
𝓖𝓮𝓷𝓻𝓮: Fluff, Angst & Suggestive
𝓢𝓾𝓶𝓶𝓪𝓻𝔂: What is it like being an 18 year old girl that had just moved into her new apartment and then suddenly meeting the people she would consider to be her brothers while being away from her parents?
Tumblr media
𝓒𝓱𝓪𝓹𝓽𝓮𝓻 6: 𝓞𝓾𝓻 𝓛𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓢𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓻
“Um… Nae Oppa I know NCT” I said to them.
An awkward silence enveloped the place.
“Uh… don’t worry I’m not the type of fan that would announce to the whole world that I’m living right next to NCT. Y-you all don’t have to worry. I won’t be taking pictures of you guys as well.”
“Thanks Yuna for telling us that. We’ve been having great trust issues knowing that we are idols that want to keep our privacy.” Yuta Oppa said.
“Ah, I understand. I also wouldn’t want people going around telling me where I live. I respect your privacy and deeply understand their importance to you.” I told them as a reassurance.
Silence surrounded us once again. I slightly bowed my head hoping that we wouldn’t have to say our goodbyes already. In great honesty, I like being with them. They act like the big brothers that I’ve always wanted. I’m an only child so I never experienced having a sibling so being with made me feel as if they are actually my siblings.
“Yuna” Jaehyun Oppa called my attention. I turned my head to him.
“I know that look. There’s a lot of things going through your mind. Don’t worry, you don’t have to stop seeing us because you’re a fan. The whole time you were here we felt quite comfortable with you. We trust that you won’t be going around telling people about us” he said with a small smile.
“Gomawo Oppa. I was actually thinking if we had to cut ties already. I don’t want that since I actually find you guys fun to be with. It's as if you were brothers I never had.” I told them while looking at all of them and saw that they all had a smile on their faces.
“Ok enough of all the serious talking. My gosh the mood went down so quickly. Let’s go play or something.” Jungwoo Oppa said while standing up.
“Let’s jam out to our songs. Yuna you know our songs right.” Mark Oppa asked me and I nodded.
He started to strum the guitar and I immediately noticed what the song was. He was playing Love Song by NCT 127.
neoreul hyanghae giun usani
ireoke ttaemachim
cham jagaseo dahaengiya
Taeil Oppa sang with his very angelic voice which made me sway my body.
Hoo ireon geon
yesanghaji mothan sanghwangiya
eokkaega daheun i sungan
Jungwoo Oppa sang Haechan Oppa’s part which surprised me since it sounded so good.
‘eodi deureogal del chatja’
malhamyeonseodo nae georeumeun
Mark Oppa then sang Doyoung Oppa’s part and he surprised me again with his vocal’s
jakkuman hayeomeopshi neuryeojyeo
I can’t stop I can’t stop this feeling
Jaehyun Oppa started with his one and only baritone voice and blended with Jungwoo Oppa in the next line.
neoye sumsorido deullyeo
ireoke gakkaunikka
Yuta Oppa continued and I admired his very unique voice. Jaehyun Oppa then nudged me telling me to go next.
idaero tumyeonghaejin chae
shigani meomchwosseumyeon hae yeah
I sang Taeil Oppa’s part effortlessly but still being cautious knowing that I am singing right in front of the very people who originally sang this song. In the corner of my eyes, I see them all looking at me. I even saw Taeil Oppa open his mouth while I was singing. We then continued to sing the chorus of the song all together which was really fun. Surprisingly we sounded so good even when I was part of it. We continued to sing and Jungwoo Oppa  and Taeil Oppa started to make funny choreography which made me giggle. We ended the song and we all cheered for each other.
“Wah, Yuna-yah you have a very nice voice” Yuta Oppa said which made me blush slightly. Can you believe it? The Nakamoto Yuta said that my voice is nice.
“Yeah, yeah. You can actually be part of NCT. Uwa the very first girl member.” Jungwoo Oppa said with a smile.
We continued to sing a few more songs until our vocal chords got tired. Yuta Oppa decided to get us some drinks to replenish our throats. He opened the refrigerator and checked if there was any delicious drink inside.
“Ok who wants to have beer and who wants to have soju?” He asked which made the boys laugh and I smiled at them. I’m still a minor so I can’t have any of those drinks.
“Yah Yuta, Yuna here is still a minor she can’t have any of those.” Taeil Oppa said.
“Then water it is” he said while getting the pitcher and wine glasses.
“Um… why do you guys use wine glasses to drink water?” I asked them quite curious since wine glasses are for wine not for water.
“Ah, it's a thing here in our dorm” Mark Oppa said while rubbing the back of his neck and the members agreed with him so I just let it go, not asking any further.
Yuta Oppa poured us all glasses of water and handed them to us one by one.
“Oh, Yuna I forgot to ask, how come you're living alone at the age of 18?” Jungwoo Oppa asked.
“Ah, my parents gave me the apartment as a gift on my 18th birthday and out of nowhere told me that I would be moving in just a few weeks. I was shocked because I never knew why they wanted me to move and live alone so early. But, I thought that maybe this was a way for me to grow up or something like that.” I told them.
“Wah, I never envisioned myself living in an apartment alone at that age. I mean yeah I did move away from my parents at a very young age but I have my hyungs with me all the time.” Mark Oppa said.
“Doesn’t it get lonely?” Jungwoo Oppa asked.
“Well, I’ve only been here for a very short time so I haven’t really gotten homesick so much. But, I have been missing my parents a lot these days.” I told them with a sad smile.
“You don’t have to worry Yuna.” Jaehyun Oppa said while placing his hand on my shoulder as a kind gesture.
“We’ll be your family while you live here as our neighbor. Just as you said earlier, think of us as if we are your brothers.
“Yeah! And you’ll be our beloved dongsaeng.” Taeil Oppa said and I smiled at him.
“Well then, are you guys ready for another round of singing?” Jungwoo Oppa asked.
I looked at my wrist and saw the 10:00 pm flashed on my digital watch.
“Shit” I muttered quietly although Jaehyun Oppa still heard me.
“Why? Is there something wrong?” Jaehyun Oppa asked.
“A-aniyo. Um… Oppa mian, I actually need to go home already. I still have a lot of homework to do hehe.” I told them slightly embarrassed that I didn’t do my homework right away and it was already really late. Well, guess who’s staying up all night.
“Aigoo, arraseo, I’ll lead you to the door.” Jaehyun Oppa said while getting up from his seat.
I got up as well and said my goodbyes to the other members. Taeil Oppa and Jungwoo Oppa gave me a very friendly hug while Mark Oppa and Yuta Oppa just waved me goodbye. I followed Jaehyun Oppa to the door and put my shoes on and set my slippers to the side. Before he could open the door for me, Jungwoo Oppa called out to me.
“Yuna-yah jamkkaman.” Jungwoo Oppa said while jogging towards us with his phone in his hand.
“Nae Oppa?” I said to him.
“Um could you give me your phone number. The others and I want to make a group chat with you.” He said while handing his phone out to me.
I got my phone and punched in my number and saved it as ‘Kim Yuna’. I gave it back to him and said my last goodbyes again. Jaehyun Oppa gave me a side hug before I went out of their unit.
“It was nice hanging out with you Yuna!” he said to me with a smile which showed me his signature dimples.
“Thank you Oppa for letting me stay in your unit.”  I said and smiled and proceeded to go inside of my unit.
I went inside of my apartment and got my bag so that I could start doing my homework.
“Aish, why did Mr. Park give so much homework.” I said while trying to figure out what I was going to do first.
I decided to do the longest homework first then the shorter one’s so that in case I won’t finish tonight, I’ll be able to do them in school before classes start and during breaks in between classes.
I was reading my text book and was getting quite drowsy until my phone flashed open. There, I said that this was a sign that I can take a break. I know I’ve only been working for ten minutes. I got my phone and checked the notification that made my phone turn on and saw that it was from an unknown number.
