I posted this essay/rant in the Earth 2068 server, but I think it deserves to be on my blog, too.

Okay I've been rotating Phil and Leon in my brain and I'm thinking about the parallels between the two, uh, I guess Phileon moments in the comic so far? The nonconsensual kiss, and the most recent page with the date arrangements. And I've been thinking about the differences in consent and communication here.

When Future!Phil kisses Future!Leon, there is little dialogue. Phil stutters a bit, Leon is confused and flustered, but Phil just does what he wants without saying anything or asking at all. Communication breaks down further as Leon (rightly) flees the situation, and they only talk later. Notably, after Phil verbally abuses Leon, asserting the power dynamic before bringing up a previous act of control. In that conversation, Phil is entitled, making assumptions about Leon, pushing aside his concerns and justifications because he can only see what he wants. There is never a moment where Leon has any power or control over the situation.

Contrast that with Past!Phil and Past!Leon. Leon shows up to the fair, basically just because he wants to, not because Phil invited him or told him to. Good start. Phil asked him to dinner - asked - and, even though they didn't talk about it at first, at Jordan's prompting, they talk about it. They talk so much, Jordan is crowded out of the panel. Phil is not pushing, he asks if it is a date, and they mutually go "I want it to be a date, do you?" and agree to it. It's mutual, it's equal, they discuss and make sure they're on the same page and that the other actually wants this before they do anything. CONSENT IS FOREMOST.

Future!Phil would never respect somebody's consent like this, least of all Leon. But Past!Phil? He's a consent king. Clearly, he once knew all about treating others as people whose consent and opinions matter. The fact that he abandoned this for the sake of power makes him all the more despicable. He once knew better. He still could, if he tried. But he won't.

SB x Animal Crossing Headcanons

Freddy

His island theme would either space themed or have a woodsy feel. Maybe he would have one half of the island start off as woodsy, and then further into it it becomes space. His villagers are definitely bears and cubs, maybe one bunny villager as a homage to Bonnie (he's definitely got a high friendship with said bunny villager). He's definitely a good island representative, making sure he takes care of his island and is always building something. His island is before his own needs, so his house would probably only be up to the 2nd upgrade. He's willing to help out other players by giving them NMTs and bells, since he seems to be rich in that aspect. He doesn't change out any of his villagers, and he gets sad whenever one of them wants to move...

His island is 5 stars.

His villagers: Beardo, Ike, Megan, Charlise, Grizzly, Stitches, Maple, Poncho, Bluebear, and Sasha.

Chica

Her island is bright colored, mostly pastel pink, everything is cutesy and food related too. She definitely has little shops and decorations meant to represent food stands. She's just enjoys collecting pink items and coming up with new build ideas for the island. She definitely has perfect fruit as well. She's got the full DIY cook book completed, having an overabundance of recipes which she gives to players and friends for free whenever they visit. She's also great at happy home design. She's a master at the stalk market... she's got the best prices. She's a 4 star island.

Most of her villagers are birds and bunnies...

She forces her villagers to stay, she likes them a lot. She dresses them up, even Barold. She's got a good friendship with Viviane, that's her girl. She's not rich like Freddy or Chica, but she's just having a good time hanging around her villagers and collecting clothing items.

Monty

His island is country swamp theme, one side is country the other swamp. He's not a good builder but he's trying, he's got a few furniture items he's using the build with. Freddy's always giving him stuff, as much as he doesn't want it. A lot of unread mail...

He's not focused too much on the island, but he likes island hopping and collecting resources, mostly visiting his friend's islands to hang out. He prefers fishing and filling out his critter encyclopedia, and filling the museum. He doesn't really play that much but when he does he chills out with his villagers and fishes. His favorite villager is Dobie. He's rocking at 2 stars, but he's in no rush to get 5 stars.

Bonnie

His island is 80s bowling themed with some space elements (...coughs). Any leftover or duplicate items Freddy had he'd nab to put on his own island, most of which were space themed. He likes island hopping most for resources and to increase profits. He's got four stars, he's trying to reach 5 stars so he can brag to Roxy (she's at 3 stars). Most of his villagers are bunnies, a few cubs, and a bear. Of course, he's gonna have the highest friendship with the bear villager because it reminds him of Freddy. He's definitely using his secluded beach as a little hangout spot for him and Freddy when he visits his island.

something ig is a bit of a hot take (maybe not on twt tho) is the whole people speculating about dan’s gender. it all just feels a bit off because i sort of think of it as his whole sexuality journey and how people were so onto him. he has said that he is comfortable as a man but obviously if that were to change it would be fine and we would be accepting.

as well as saying phil is autistic or neurodivergent based on some behaviours and videos. he has not stated it so we don’t know but if he came out and said he was it would all be fine. i just feel weird about the whole speculating aspect of it.

It's fine to not want to engage with particular kinds of fandom activities, you can always curate your experience so that you don't see people posting that

No one is pressuring them, no one is tagging them, this is just what marginalised people are Like when we see kindred spirits and go all Leonardo DiCaprio pointing meme at them. We aren't trying to get personal info from them, nor are we trying to spread misinformation about them. It is something of interest to me though that when people try to shut down speculation because 'we shouldn't assume', they don't realise that you are taking being cis and being allistic and otherwise neurotypical as the 'normal' there. "They haven't said they are trans so you should assume they are cis" "They haven't said they're gay so we shouldn't assume they are" what should we assume in these scenarios? That they are the 'normal thing to be'? Because people are hardly ever uncomfortable about speculation when it's shit like 'maybe they like cats more than dogs' 'do you think this celebrity is gonna marry his girlfriend this year? I think he is' etc etc it's somehow always only when marginalised people are like 'ooh I really relate to those experiences and went through that phase of discovery, wonder if they are also a part of this group' that people start being uncomfortable. Which is like. Honestly, genuinely, betraying some internalised queerphobia and ableism.

If you have your reasons for it good for you, yk, you can learn to make it so you don't see shit that makes you uncomfortable. It's just v weird to go to marginalised people of that group to say 'hey it made me uncomfortable that you even suggested that someone might be like you'. Yeah we know, we hear that like. All the time. Lol.

These make my brain rot

Phil

hes like a normal 12 year old but like, not normal

he has adhd shut up yes he does yes he odes!

His dog is crusty and white. He named her bulldozer before knowing she was a girl and stuck with it cuz it was funny to call a small crusty white dog bulldozer

(^ he dresses said dog up in fancy attire when he takes her for walks)

Hes actually a great pet owner and has had a ton of pets he found on the street (most of which his parents told him to get rid of (bulldozer was the only one they kept cuz they could actually manage her)

they were split up into two trains (not by languages, just split). when they arrived, a vcr-like interruption showing a duck popped up and welcomed them to the island, telling them not to press the button that’s on the big wall separating two sides of the island. naturally, they immediately press the button. the duckling returns and tells them they are no longer allowed to leave, so they all start settling in.

QUACKITY

(I am unsure if this lore is still canon, if not i will remove this section) quackity was split into two people (engquackity and espquackity) as a child. these two characters have no relationship despite being two halves of the same person. despite their names, engquackity speaks both english and spanish, and espquackity has not canonically been seen on the server (besides some ominous messages in chat) but he’s…out there somewhere.

THE EGGS

the eggs were abandoned by their dragon mother and taken by the federation to be given to the island members. each egg has two lives.

when it was just the spanish speaking and english speaking streamers, they were given eggs in pairs of two to take care of

original eggs: bobby (dead) - jaiden and roier, chayanne (alive) - phil and missa, dapper (alive) - bad, trump (dead) - dan and maxo, juanaflippa (dead) - slime and mariana, leonarda (alive) - foolish and vegetta, ramón (alive) - fit and spreen, tilín (dead) - quackity (and luzu, who never met tilín)

new eggs were given to the players who showed up after (besides luzu) by the federation

new eggs: tallulah (alive) - wilbur, richarlyson (alive) - the brazilians, pomme (alive) - the french

pomme is the only egg who currently still has two lives.

the eggs are currently being attacked by the code monster (more on this in part two)

canon queer eggs !! (because it’s pride month :p): juana (mtf), tilín (nonbinary), leonardo (genderfluid)

THE FEDERATION

the official host and government-like organization on the island. it was established before the members arrived. their real name is Order.

members: the duckling, cucurucho, multiple faceless workers, cellbit (formerly)

cucurucho (or osito bimbo, or:)

is the representative of the qsmpcensusbureau. they watch over the members, making sure they don’t break rules and they are enjoying the island.

they are portrayed to be looking out for the best of the island members (so, a positive figure) but they attacked cellbit with a chainsaw, and contributed to felps disappearance. it is unknown if there are multiple of them.

they have (had?) a positive relationship with jaiden and roier (heavy on the latter).

the federation can also revive dead eggs, whether they lost both of their lives or only one.

Qsmp headcanons

So everyone just got sent to 'Egg island' and got split into three teams. Red team is my main group 4 now and if u watched anyones stream (Maybe except Carres) on that team you'll know that they all started going crazy. By the end of Phils stream (The POV I watched) everyone has gone delusional and plans to start their own lil silly village. So that got my brain going and I started making headcanons.

*Red team is a secluded group from everyone else (Except to a few ppl such as Etoiles)

*Everyone is a cowboy

*Slimecicle is the town baker

*Foolish is the town builder

*Baghera doesn't have a role yet

*Carre is the town sheriff

*Cellbit is the town judge

*Philza is the town mayor

*To everyone who isn't on Red team or is close to them , Phil has gone missing and slowly becoming a urban legend (because of the Red team spreading rumors). Phil is there on the island and pops up every now and then when ppl r in danger or just to spook sum1. Missa and Etoiles are the two ppl who see Phil alot other then towns members. Phil chats , trades and trains with Etoiles and chats , hangsout , gives gifts to Missa , protects Missa and trains with Missa. Anytime someone tries to talk with either of the two while Phils around Phil vanishes like a ghost.

*Think of the towns members like Killjoys and Philza like the Phoenix witch

*The birb ppl got wings (Jaiden , Baghera and Phil)

*Fire rituals are a big thing for the town and its members. In rare occasions that the towns members are out in the open with other ppl except Missa and Etoiles they do a fire ritual (Sometimes they'll throw in crow feathers into the fire and Phil will show up to spook ppl)

*The town has mini statues for their eggs (Bobby , Juanaflippa , Pomme , Richarlyson , Leonarda/Leonardo , Tallulah and Chayanne)

Qsmp Egg headcanon designs because I need to put them somewhere before I draw

Young dragons are adaptive shapeshifters so they grow similar traits to who they are around, mostly who they imprinted on (their parents)

Tilín had black hair like her father, with a few yellow feathers here and there. Their hair is a bit longer than his however, so she tied it up with a ribbon that Quackity now wears around his wing. She has small black freckles on her cheeks, ears, and some on her arms. Other than that he looks like the dragon-human hybrid she was when she was born. Her eyes were dark brown with hints on red in the right one and hints of blue in the left

Trump looks just like he did when he was born, bright blue eyes and a spinny hat.

Bobby has dark brown hair like both of his parents. He has a few blue and green feathers in his hair like his mother, and paint splatters all over his overalls and hair. His tail is thick and his wings are small and thin.

Leonarda/Leonardo (Going to use Leo for this) has dark hair and purple eyes like Vegetta. Leo’s scales are mostly dark blue, with some gold hints. He has a shark fin and his wing memberanes and light grey-blue. His tail also ends in a shark fin

Tallulah has dragon-like wings, but they are growing white and grey feathers like her father. She also has diamond shapes on her wings and bright cyan eyes from spending so much time with phil. And for some reason, Wilbur keeps finding small yellow feathers in her wings. I wonder where they came from.

Chayanne has similar wings to Tallulah from being around her for so long, but most of his feathers are black. His eyes are bright cyan. He has a skull marking on his face. For some reason he developed an under-bite with large lower canines, and pink streaks in his mostly yellow hair, but Phil doesn't know where he might have gotten it.

Ramón is near bald, but he has black bear ears and a little bit of hair. He also wears a fake mustache. His wing membranes are a diluted purple and his tail is thin. His eyes are hazel.

Dapper’s scales are near pitch black, and his eyes are a really light grey. His horns go straight up and turn a bit inwards. Like his dad, his tail is thin and has a arrow tip.

Juanaflippa had hair similar in color to Charlie’s, with black highlights. She had two pigtails kept together with slime scrunchies, her hair also had globs of slime in it. Her scales were dark grey-green and. Her wing membranes and eyes were bright green. There were freckles across her face, and a few on her arms, similar to her cousin Tilín. Her rash is visible on her neck and left cheek, and it goes down into her shirt. She has a trans pin on her shirt and a holster with her Glock and trans flag in it.

I HAVE ANOTHER SIREN IDEA

So: i was learning about art forgery earlier this year, and my professor was mentioning how because of the elitism in the art world, some artists are forced to turn to forgery because no one will pay large amounts of money for art that doesn't have a famous name/history attached to it. SO they'll copy other people's artstyles and say they found this "Leonardo Da Vinci" work in some abandoned attic somewhere and sell it (now obviously because DaVinvi is so famous, it would be pretty hard to sell that lie, but you know what I mean. maybe a buttersworth painting. idk).

...And you can launder money with art forgeries: somebody could buy a forgery with money achieved through nefarious means (dirty money), then resell it for the same (or a higher) price. Now they have the same amount/more money, but it was achieved through legitimate means so its harder to track down/make a case against it in court.

Anyway: The Syndicate catches some broke ass college student on their territory, but they are a damn quick thinker and say that they have connections in crime to spare themselves. The student tells them that they have contact with this guy Anonymous, who provides art forgeries that the Syndicate can then sell and keep their money trail clean (especially useful, when in their civilian disguise. all that money is suspicious...). What the student ISN'T telling them is that they aren't just the middleman for Anonymous' works, they ARE Anonymous (because, if the Syndicate got sick of them and knew that there was only just one person involved in the business, they could just kill that one person. But if they think there's multiple, they'd have to keep the student alive to get to Anonymous).

Maybe Siren finds out that its the student who is doing the paintings, and they bond over their artistic interests; him being a musician, them being a painter.

Or, ALTERNATE SCENARIO: There IS a mafia that the Syndicate is dealing with, and the mafia agrees to set them up with one of their greatest contributors. Obviously Siren is sent to talk with this mysterious associate-- since he's very persuasive-- and instead of finding some shady, powerful crimelord, he finds a worn out, paint-splattered college student wearing J O R T S in a shitty apartment. they don't even react when they see him they're just used to it at this point.

firstly, always feel free to spam my inbox with ideas, they make me happy to see and i love coming home or having a minute to read through them and reading it like the daily paper, it’s my favorite part of the day

secondly!!!!! AHHHH okay the whole thing abt hiding the fact that this broke college student is actually like an amazing art dealer and like potentially dangerous is so juicy. like

student: “yeah, Anonymous is crazy. they once stabbed someone and used their blood to sign a painting because it was the only color they could get to match a specific red tone that Van Gogh used” knowing damn well it was actually their own blood because they cut their finger opening up a box of new paints, causing the red to splatter on the floor

siren: “wow… this Anonymous person must be dangerous. how are you so calm around them? not to sound rude… but you dont strike me as the fighting type”

student: *think fast think fast, i cant let them know i make most of the forgeries or that i am Anonymous* “we’re lovers”

siren: “what.”

i feel like techno would be the first one to figure it out, and wilbur would be dead last. techno knew the minute he met you but just kept quiet about it, phil realized when he monitored your activity for a day and noticed how you’d be mimicking famous artists, tommy realized because student told him, and wilbur didn’t believe it for a second until he literally showed up to a meeting Anonymous had set up, watched as they tried to kidnap them, resulting in their mask being knocked off and siren was like OH FUCKIN SHIT OH NO

but i also love the second alternate part bc siren’s heard all these stories about anonymous’s ability to replicate artists exactly and how skilled they are, and then student opens the door and is just like “okay. siren is here. totally normal.”

siren’s like “i need you to do something for me”

student just scoffs “yeah? you’re going to have to wait, i have to finish a painting for my niece. she asked me to paint her favorite barbie doll” fully serious and siren is just like ??????? and considers using his voice but is just curious and wants to watch you work so just sits back and watches.

also LOVE the concept of the anteater paintings. wilbur is just staring around in anger and annoyance and student is just there, grinning evilly and watching bc they know he wont say anything about it so it’s funny.
