Why does Israel matter?

Did you know that the clock of the return of Jesus Christ is not based on America's OR the United Kingdom's timeline? It is based on what is happening in Israel.

Did you know that Jesus was not a "Christian"? He was Jewish. He celebrated and observed the Jewish festivals and customs as well as the feasts of the LORD. He did not come to eradicate the Torah and the writings of the prophets / the Old Testament. He came to fulfill the prophecies that were written in them.

When Jesus returns, He will not return to the United States. The Bible says He will set His feet on the Mount of Olives and pass through the East Gate, which is currently sealed with 16 feet of concrete. A cemetery is also placed in front of this gate, because touching the dead makes a Jew considered unclean, and he cannot enter the temple, which is considered Holy. GOD's word says that He will return there and rule and reign from there for 1000 years.

The final battle will not be on US soil or British. It will be in the valley of Megiddo, in Israel. The Bible says that while the nations wage war against Israel, Jesus will come and destroy His enemies with the breath of His mouth. 2 Thessalonians 2:8

GOD did not replace Jews with Christians as some think. We are actually grafted with them as you would graft a wild branch to an existing tree.

The word of GOD says, "When you touch Israel, you touch the apple of GOD's eye." Zechariah 2:8

"He who guards Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. The LORD is your keeper. Psalm 121:4

“I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you.” Genesis 12:3

We are also commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem in Psalm 122.

Why do you start things and don’t finish them?

The answer would confuse any reader. Because a mixture of analysis paralysis and grief would confuse anyones mind. You see in the middle of any storm theres a calm. A calm that only God the creator can understand. A peace so filling no confusion can enter just joy flows.

I think that is the why. I am searching for peace in the middle of my storm. Everything I seem to pick up does gives me “earthly” peace and more confusion. More expectations from others. As well as bondage from the deadlines and titles. But to the observer looking in its chaos & its unstable.  

When the storm is doing what is does best destroying everything in its path. Who knows if anything that was there before will be left. The different shifts and turns in life knocks the wind out of your lungs as if you were hit by a speeding car. 

If the only point is to not be perfect and give up everything and follow the Lord? Why must I settle on a project, a deadline, or a title for my name to be written in the book? Just to receive my reward and inheritance for my service to my God?

Nothing feels right. I overthink everything. Nothing stands a chance. I will cancel it out the the next chance I get because I will find a flaw in it. I am running myself wild trying to figure it out. Figure out what you may ask, what to do with my life?

In six months I will be leaving my 20s to journey into the abyss we call the 30s. I don’t know what kind of wilderness awaits me. Each quarter of this year I have been trying to prepare. 

Will I find out in time before Jesus return? No one knows, but I don’t want to be lacking the knowledge or caught slipping. 

The thing to start doing and to never stop is the fact that someone is always watching. So be careful what you decided to do with the time. The days are evil.

Living in the End Times

Does Your Life Reflect Your Words?

Do you believe we are living in the end times? You might say, “In light of the current events and affairs of the world, along with signs, such as solar eclipses and blood moons, I definitely believe we are in the last days.” If that is the case, does your life and actions reflect your words? Naturally, the deeper you believe, the more your life will reflect your proclamations. Do you find yourself groaning within yourself to be united with our Lord Jesus, and thus, find yourself looking for the time He calls us home? Romans 8:23-25 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Some have spent years studying eschatology (end time theology), while others go by what they hear, and everything in between. God reveals a great deal to us in Scripture, which means it’s a good thing to study. Of course, much has been hidden from us, and will remain so until the end. Interestingly, even the early Apostles thought they were in the end times as well. What did Jesus say should be a primary focus?

One Major Focus

Acts 1:6-8 When they therefore were come together, they asked of Him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His Own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (see also Luke 24:49). Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen (see also Mark 16:15-18). Perhaps, when we consider the end times, we would find ourselves being more intentional about The Great Commission. When the disciples asked Him about the restoration of Israel, which is part of the end times, He told them it wasn’t for them to know the times and seasons; rather, after receiving power from Holy Spirit, be My witnesses. Every day is someone’s last day on earth. So perhaps, we should be more focused on sharing the Gospel and making disciples than being hyper focused on trying to figure out when He’s coming to get His Bride. We are to occupy until He comes. By the way, one of the reasons the Church lost much influence was because Christians disengaged from society (colleges, universities, government, etc.), because they were too focused on the Rapture. Part of being ready for His return is being obedient to what He has called us.
