✩ WEEKLY FIC ROUND-UP ✩
All the fics I’ve read and really enjoyed in the past week-ish. Reminder: This list features any and all ratings and themes. Please look at tags and warnings on ao3 before reading.
Shadowhunters
Enthrallment by smilebackwards
It does look a little bad, Parmela thinks, looking at it from outside. As more specialists had been called in for consultation, they’d decamped to one of the larger conference rooms—eschewing attendance at A, B, AB, & O: The Impact of Blood Type on Non Subject Specific Blood Magic, because this was vastly more interesting and potentially important—and there are a round dozen high-level warlocks clustered around Alec, poking at him with magic.
Or: Alec attends the Magical Inventions and Advances convention in hopes of recruiting warlocks for another Downworld Cabinet. The warlocks, however, are more interested—and concerned—by the blue magical aura following Alec around.
DC
temporal fraternity by envysparkler
Damian clears his throat. “I require your assistance.”
The words come out easier with the benefit of practice and the knowledge that no one will remember them tomorrow. Today. Tomorrow-today.
The Umbrella Academy
cut me open and i still bleed red by aletterinthenameofsanity
Part 1 of the odds were never in our favor
Ben knows his fellow mentors pretty well, for how long he's spent here, behind the screens of the Games, watching as his tributes die.
Allison, from District One, has a way with the sponsors. Just a word placed here or there, stealthily dropped into conversation, and she can get her tributes the shit they need.
In his time as a Mentor, Klaus has developed a habit of drinking to get through the Games, and through the rest of his life, really- anything to avoid the truth of what's happening, the ghosts of the children he and Ben have sent to their deaths.
Very few people remember what Five’s name was before the Games. Caesar Flickerman and the Gamemakers nicknamed him that when he took out the entire Career Pack on his second day in the Arena.
Vanya’s the newest Mentor, the victor of the Seventy-Third Hunger Games.
Diego’s one of Ben’s oldest not-quite friends. A Victor from District Ten, he’d gone into the Games knowing how to kill an animal.
All the other Mentors Ben knows try never to get attached. Luther, on the other hand, doesn't forget a single name.
(A story of seven victors of the Hunger Games and the lives they live as Mentors.)
Danny Phantom
The Promised Land by redrobin1989
Danny Fenton has been running for years, from his abusive parents, from Vlad's experiments, from his freakish powers. He expected to be running his whole life until he found his way to a small town that felt like the home he'd never had.
M!ik
Study Dates Are Not Real Dates by StormySteady
A very important exam is coming up, and Asmodeus is trying his hardest to get Iruma and Clara to study for it. But his soulmates have other ideas.
Star Wars
Starlight, In All Its Forms by Soap_And_Lye
When Luke was eight, he was taken from his home on Tatooine and delivered into the hands of the emperor and his right hand.
When Luke was sixteen, he overheard the emperor's plans to steal a tiny Force sensitive child and saves him first, before being caught and dragged back to his masters' keeping.
When Luke was eighteen, he finds that same child on Gideon's cruiser, and spares both him and his family, including a silver clad Mandalorian.
And when Luke was twenty-four, he is captured by the Rebellion (captured or did he just let it happen? Really up for debate) and secretly sent as a prisoner to Mandalore, where Mand'alor Din Djarin rebuilds his planet and raises his son.
And the rest was history. Or the beginning.
Clone Wars
will you be an anarchist with me? by a_alene
Once the Kenobi floodgates are opened, they cannot be closed. Cody has apparently been keeping an itemized list of disagreements, and he is determined to tell Rex each and every one of them.
Kenobi refuses to listen to Cody’s input. Kenobi throws himself into battle with no regard for previously established battle plans. Kenobi uses the Force so recklessly and obviously that every undercover assignment is blown within the first few minutes. Kenobi is a hypocrite who berates Cody for sidestepping protocol, but flouts it himself at every opportunity.
CT-7567: bet you wish you had skywalker now
CC-2224: I wish for nothing but the cold embrace of space
Right. And he says Kenobi’s dramatic.
(Marshal Commander Cody and High General Obi-Wan Kenobi of the 212th cannot stand each other. Rex doesn't know why this is his problem.)
poetry is what you find (in the dirt in the corner) by fivecenturiesverse
(In which Cody becomes an anonymous poet after the war and his brothers find out.)
Rex launches forwards immediately and so does Bly, because he can admit to himself that he likes gifts. He likes gifts a whole lot more than Cody and Wolffe, anyway, who both act like martyrs who don’t need any material love. “Poetry, vod?” Bly asks, incredulous. “Cody’s right, you are going soft.”
“It’s by a clone,” Fox says, defensively, “it’s quite good, actually. For poetry. It made Sergeant Hound cry at the service.

#this play isn't even really about the incest! it's about the nature of fate and the cost of truth!!#<- prev YEAH. and now im thinking about that one bit of uhhhhhh violence and the sacred#'If we eliminate the testimony brought against Oedipus in the second half of the tragedy then the conclusion of the myth#far from seeming a sudden lightning flash of the truth striking down the guilty party and illuminating all the mortal participants#seems nothing more than the camouflaged victory of one version of the story over the other#the polemical version over its rival—the community’s formal acceptance of Tiresias’s and Creon’s version of the story#thereafter held to be the true and universal version the verity behind the myth itself'#rip i realise i am a) pasting literally a paragraph in the tags and b) thinking abt jgy as oedipus instead#(he Did have a patricide moment though. like that is notably a thing that did also happen if under very different circumstances)#but mostly i am thinking about how the revelations of jgy's crimes are consistently Focalised Through Other Stuff#like are you seeing the actual thing or like. someone else talking about a letter written about someone else knowing about etc etc etc#and there is a limit to how much of that is just because the protagonist isn't able to see it Directly#but the result is like. im not going to paste another girard paragraph but there IS one about how all the accusations against oedipus Are#Just An Argument with tiresias (and creon?) and it's only the injection via prophecy etc of what an audience Knows is in the myth that#breaks the stalemate of This Is Just An Argument by Revealing the crimes the audience already knows were fated#i think the way the narrative (can it count as a narrative if it's a play) of oedipus rex relies on an audience knowing and trusting a myth#is v similar to how the narrative of mdzs/cql uses focalisation to allow The Victory Of One Version Of The Story Over The Other etc
@catilinas I am reading this tag analysis on the Oedipus post like 👀👀👀 and wANT TO HEAR MORE because
1.) The discrepancies between the version of events in CQL that we see unfold as viewers in real time and the version we get from NMJ during the Empathy sequence are a constant subject of rumination for me, and they're yet another example of seeing JGY through not one but two sets of filters, and NMJ's version of events is the last we see, and thus forms our lasting impression, but it's so far removed from the originals you don't even realize how much they've omitted unless you watch them back-to-back. Meanwhile, Tiresias's account is one of the first things we hear, but it colors everything that comes after it because We All Know The Story, the characters themselves fixate on it, and everything unfolds more or less in real time so we the viewers don't have time to forget anything and never got to see Oedipus or Jocasta or Laius outside of this moment.
2.) something something JGY claims that someone tried/ is trying to harm him every time he's confronted, and Oedipus accuses Creon of plotting to overthrow him
3.) what if "JGY lives" AU in the style of Oedipus at Colonus

FAQ
~"How is [x] character a fashion disaster? I like their look/ they're iconic/ they look alright/ etc. etc." First of all, this is a very lighthearted competition that doesn't mean to be negative or judgmental! A Fashion Disaster can sometimes be (affectionate): in some cases there's nothing more iconic than a bit of this pizazz. I like quite a few of the looks on this list (and sometimes dress much worse) but if they have been included, this means that either: 1) they have been nominated multiple times 2) they have been nominated at least once and whoever nominated them provided a very convincing or funny explanation of why they were a Fashion Disaster (for example by pointing out one particularly bad outfit - not necessarily their main outfit!) 3) they have been nominated at least once and upon looking them up, I noticed that they tick many of the boxes that were described repeatedly in other people's explanations of what they consider disastrous: e.g. clashing patterns, excessive accessories, crocs, bad haircuts, etc. etc. In any case, every poll will come with a brief explanation of why people have been nominating a certain character! To make sure that people vote informed ❤️ ~"Why are you randomizing matchups instead of seeding?" I totally see the value of seeding for most competitions, but this one here is largely unpredictable - a lot of characters got the same amount of nominations, and how Disastrous they are is entirely subjective. The competition is also quite visual-based - it's about looks rather than knowing a character, so it's more likely that people will vote for an unknown character than in other competitions, which risk becoming popularity polls quite quickly. Basically: I'd simply have no idea how to determine the ranking of most contestants here for proper seeding! That's why I opt for randomized matches - but I did make sure to put the two most nominated characters on the opposing sides of the bracket. ~"Why is [x] character not included?" There was a total of 174 unique characters nominated to this tournament! If the one you were rooting for did not make it, I'm sorry! One or more of the following was likely the cause: 1) they have not been nominated more than once 2) they have not ticked as many boxes for what other people considered disastrous as some other characters with a single nomination did 3) a lot of characters have been submitted from the same source. After choosing 3 most nominated ones, I couldn't include more! The rule is max. 3 characters per source. ~"Is propaganda encouraged?" More than encouraged! Please tag me if you make any posters/posts/try to support your faves in another way throughout the tournament, I'd love to see and reblog it! ❤️

Mes chers mademonsieurs, it is with greatest pride and deepest pleasure that we welcome you to Wonderful World of Darklords! In this episode, we discuss one of the most gothic and atmospheric movies in the Disney canon, which asks us what makes a monster and what makes a man. No, no, not Hunchback, the tonally consistent one. (We promise Hunchback's coming, though!) Subjects discussed include:
--Why we decided on Gaston as the darklord even though you can make an excellent case for pre-redemption Beast, and how to use Beast as your darklord if you prefer;
--How to make Belle an active presence in the setting like she deserves, while not letting her steal the story from your PCs;
--A version of the Beast's castle that preserves its eerie mystique in a D&D context;
--A curse for Gaston that makes him the real monster in more ways than one;
--and more!
And now we invite you to relax, let us pull up a chair, as the Kolars proudly present: Beauty and the Beast!
The full writeup for Elsaz is available for free on DM's Guild: https://www.dmsguild.com/product/420636/The-Beasts-Castle--A-Ravenloft-Domain-of-Dread-01-13?affiliate_id=241770&fbclid=IwAR1ocZ26snwdAxSesbMbGD8R2gJt5DuqQNlFW5aawAlGpLmQ4vXxNFssvgQ

Conversion Corner: Various Gaming Mechs part 3
Metal Gear Rex (Metal Gear Solid)
A mecha that a mecha anime otaku helped build, today we will be looking at perhaps the most iconic of the machines that bears the name “Metal Gear.”
Based originally on the designs of Aleksandr Granin, the Metal Gear Rex was the latest walking tank design at the turn of the millennium, a powerful armored vehicle with a distinctive jaw-like cockpit and heavy armament with missiles, machine guns, and even an experimental laser cannon.
However, the vehicle’s true purpose was defined by it’s primary weapon, a powerful railgun which, while capable of firing powerful high-velocity rounds, was actually meant to launch propellant-less nuclear warheads from anywhere in the world without detection by conventional early-warning systems, making it a highly secret and highly illegal weapon system capable of precision strikes on civilian populations (for after all, that is what nuclear weapons are for) without the fear of immediate reprisal.
Naturally, before it could be finished, a group of special operatives turned terrorists turned on the staff at the Shadow Moses facility and threatened to use the weapon against the US unless their demands were met. I can’t go into much further detail without going on a tangent into the wild and wooly world of the MGS plotline, so I’ll leave it at that. Suffice to say that the original Metal Gear Rex was wrecked and most of it’s test data destroyed, though some did make it out to spawn further generations of walking machine.
That was not to be the end of Rex, however, as it later got fixed up by the heroes and went toe to toe with a next generation Metal Gear, proving that the original design still had plenty of merit.
For the purposes of this build, we will assume a tier 13 mech.
Gargantuan legionnaire Operators 1; PP 1 (3 per turn, max 7) Speed 70 ft.; Senses blindsense (vibration) 30 ft., darkvision 120 ft., low-light vision
Defense
HP 140; SP 29; Hardness 7 EAC 33; KAC 33 Fort +13; Ref +12 Immunities construct immunities
Offense
Melee hammerfist (lower limb - 5d4+22 B; analog, penetrating) Ranged laser rifle (frame – 5d6+13 F critical burn; automatic) or missile battery (frame – 5d4+13 F&P) or rail gun (modified rocket launcher; upper limb – 5d8+13 P; explode 10 ft., unwieldy) rotary cannon (frame – 2d6+13 P; automatic) Space 20 ft.; Reach 20 ft. Strength +9
Systems
Power Core mk 2 dynamo; Lower Limbs heavy biped; Upper Limbs precision arms (+1 melee, +1 ranged); Auxiliary autotarget, entry hatch, plow plating, reconnaissance array;
For this build, I realized that there was no rail gun option for mechs yet, so I modified the rocket launcher, what with it specifically having a special attack based on anchoring for long range, to be the base for it. The other weapons are somewhat weak to represent their antipersonnel and antitank nature. I also gave it auxiliary tools based on the radome scanner of the Rex in-game. The result is a mech built for ranged artillery first rather than melee, but is able to hold it’s own at close range as well.
That does it for today, but we’re only halfway through, with the next one being a subject from a game actively about mechs!

Description: In September 1962, when Martin Dockery landed in Saigon, he was a young, determined, idealistic U.S. Army first lieutenant convinced of America’s imminent victory in Vietnam. While most of the twelve thousand U.S. military advisors in-country at the time filled support positions in Saigon and other major cities, Dockery was one of a handful of advisors assigned to Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) combat units. For eight months Dockery lived and fought in the heart of the Mekong Delta with an ARVN infantry battalion on missions and operations that often lasted several days. And for most of that time, whether tramping through the steaming, leech-infested jungle, hiking across canals, or engaging in sudden firefights, Dockery was the only American soldier with the unit. Dockery’s solitary assignment with ARVN during the infancy of U.S. involvement in Southeast Asia afforded him an understanding of Vietnam far more profound than most other Americans. Lost in Translation is his riveting account of the largely overlooked role of American combat advisors in the war. As he vividly evokes the sounds, smells, and vistas of the country and its people, Dockery depicts an army poorly trained, incompetent, and unwilling to fight for a government every bit as corrupt as that of the French colonial empire it replaced. Yet even worse than his daily fare of isolation, frustration, and danger was Dockery’s growing conviction that the advisory program was doomed. Though these dedicated, highly motivated advisors would do their best and persevere under the most trying circumstances, they would not succeed. The author’s eyewitness testimony provides inescapable evidence that as early as 1962 the writing was already on the wall concerning the outcome of the Vietnam War. Although it would take U.S. leaders more than a decade to divine what the young officer learned in a single year, Dockery’s personal and penetrating analysis of the war—which he presented in a lecture at a Special Forces facility in Germany one week after his tour in Vietnam ended—proved chillingly accurate. Those who send soldiers to war should consider the realities and truths within these pages.

Civil Disobedience and Romans 13
Tumblr media
In the 13th chapter of his letter to the Romans, Paul wrote what must remain for Christians the classic admonition of obedience to the government:
“Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves. For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil. Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for rulers are servants of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor.” (Romans 13:1-7)
This admonition, however, needs to be balanced with other biblical passages that suggest individuals will at times face a very clear choice between God and government:
(a.) The Old Testament prophet Daniel, rather than violate God’s law, was granted permission not to partake of the king’s food—though we must acknowledge, he took the minimum resistance necessary, even seeking a pagan official’s approval of an alternative action. (Daniel 1)
(b.) His friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego went further risking their lives rather than worship pagan idols. (Daniel 6)
(c.) In the New Testament Book of Acts, Peter and John refused to stop preaching the gospel even as they recognized the state’s right to punish them. (Acts 4-5)
The biblical data suggests, it seems to me, that where the state either demands what God prohibits or prohibits what God demands, the believer is to obey God and graciously accept the state’s imposed consequences.
However, not all Christian thinkers have applied this principle in exactly the same way.
The Swiss Reformer John Calvin, for instance, held a somewhat narrow line, stressing the responsibility of citizens to fear and honor whatever ruler is placed over them, even “the most wicked ruler,” a Nebuchadnezzar or Belshazzar. Calvin is confident that God providentially works His will in all sorts of people, good or bad.
For the medieval theologian Thomas Aquinas, on the other hand, God’s delegation of authority to civil authorities was linked to the fostering of virtue. When a ruler meets that test, when his laws and actions are in accord with the lex divina, and when human law promotes the tranqulilitas ordonis, then human law is just; but if it “runs counter in any way to the law in us by nature, it is no longer law but a breakdown of law.”
The evangelist Martin Luther King, Jr. cited Aquinas in defense of civil disobedience in his Letter from the Birmingham Jail in 1963: “A just law is man-made code that squares with the moral law of God. Unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law.” We must observe, however, that King did not call for general disobedience or resistance to the state; only the unjust law, he argued in an important qualification, can be disobeyed.
In his classic work Lex Rex, the Scottish Reformer Samuel Rutherford, argued that the written law stands above the king, and when the king strays, his actions are unjust and may be resisted, indeed must be resisted. Rutherford was the inspiration for the 20th-century theologian Francis Schaeffer who wrote in his Christian Manifesto that “at a certain point, there is not only the right, but the duty, to disobey the state.” “The state,” he notes, “is to be an agent of justice, to restrain evil by punishing the wrongdoer, and to protect the good in society. When it does the reverse, it has not proper authority. It [has] usurped authority, and as such it becomes lawless and is tyranny.”
Indeed, I think, when a government perverts the ends for which it was established by God under Romans 13—ends such as justice, domestic tranquility, and the restraint of evil—that government would be acting ultra vires or in violation of its delegated authority. In such a case, lawful resistance is justified.

Clones as school:
Rex: the popular but quiet one, somehow considered the leader of the group. He stands out in every class but does not brag about it.
Fives: prankster n. 1, does funny pranks without hurting anyone (most of them fail). Would die for his friends, especially Echo and Tup.
Echo: the anxious one, he is afraid of failing tests (even though he probably studied more than 3/4 of the other kids) and gets sick before taking them. Fives helps him getting through it.
Jesse: prankster n. 2, but he actually hurt people’s feelings. Also has too many lovers at once and doesn’t know how to deal with them.
Tup: the sweet summer child, organizes study groups. Probably gets bullied. Everyone loves his hair and keeps touching it. He cries, a lot.
Kix: the mom of the group, has always medicines, bandages and camomile with him. Worries too much for literally nothing. He is also the one screaming if a bug enters the classrooms.
Hardcase: the hyperactive friend who’s favorite subject is P.E. (he takes it too seriously and cries after losing a match). Gave a student a concussion once. Don’t let this kid near sugar, just don’t.
Dogma: the snitch, would 100% call the teacher if he sees you cheating. Enjoys drama and sides always with the strongest one.
Commander Cody: the serious, mature, collected, stoic one. The other kids look up to him but he is almost always on the verge of tears or a mental breakdown. Master of faking emotions.
Commander Fox: the kid always stationed near the vending machine having a coffee whenever he can because he studied too much the night before and can’t physically hold himself together without it. Scares people with his dark circles.
Commander Bly: the one sneaking to the bathroom in the middle of the lesson to meet his girlfriend. Nobody wants to go to the bathroom when he is there in fear of what could happen.
Commander Wolffe: the “what the fuck are you looking at” type of person. Sometimes comes at school wasted. People heard he bit Fox once, no particular reason.
Waxer and Boil: the two best friends that give private lessons to younger students. Boil gets paid, Waxer does it because it’s fun.
Hunter: the kid who prefers biking from the middle of nowhere to school instead of driving his fancy car.
Crosshair: nobody (except Hunter) talks to this kid in fear of getting physically hurt. The bully. Founder of a very fancy and private club for mildly illegal activities.
Tech: he is the one super hyped for the weird science project and does all the work even though it was supposed to be a group project. He complains about it later. Also upset if his grades are lower than B.
Wrecker: the kid who brings way to much food at school.

Favorite Moments of Season 2 ATTENTION: SPOILERS
you have been warned...
So, lets start talking about season 2. As the title implies, this will be a list of some of my favorite moments and things about season 2. The list will be a little disorganized in that I won’t be going in order of episode.
1. The dinosaurs stampeding away from Ben, Kenji, Yaz, Sammy, and Bumpy doing a complete 180 at the mere sight of Rexy. That was perhaps one of the most insane moments to me, and I loved it. The herd of different species, many much larger than Rexy or certainly capable of standing their ground, simply said NOPE, and high-tailed (see what I did there) it out of her direction. Even the Pteranodons weren’t safe. I guess that whole “stand together” ideology from Disney’s Dinosaur doesn’t apply here.
2. All of the friendship moments/interactions. I know that character shipping is largely subjective, especially when there isn’t any canon pairings (yet, I say hopefully), and that shipping doesn’t necessarily imply a romantic pairing (sibling dynamics, parental dynamics, actual friend-shipping), so, in my case, these are the interactions I enjoyed seeing that I didn’t take as romantic. The interactions between Yaz and Darius was great, really felt that sibling dynamic there. Same with Darius and Sammy, it was cool to see them share common interests and have differing opinions, as well as seeing them work together. Kenji had some great interactions with Yaz and Brooklynn, offering his apparently sage wisdom and advice to them, as well as just being an understanding person. We finally got to see the girls hang out together and it was awesome, from Brooklynn feeling left out and opening up about her nonexistent social life to finding common ground with Yaz and Sammy. And of course I can’t forget about Ben straight up calling Darius ‘kid’ and Darius about to call him out on it. Gave me a chuckle.
3. The scene where the gang sans Ben and Bumpy finally tuck into a legit breakfast had me rolling.
4. The conflict between Brooklynn and Darius over the thing she said. What can I say, I enjoy some good angsty conflict between characters, and I think it got resolved rather well.
5. Brooklynn basically becoming a second-in-command/de facto leader in the later episodes. I was thinking that Kenji would’ve been this, but I feel that he actually plays off better as being largely a support role in the group, and it shows. Brooklynn and Darius in my opinion are the ones who really seem to take charge among the group in terms of overall decision making, with others playing to their own strengths. This can lead to some conflict between Brooklynn and Darius (ep 4), but when they come together, they work beautifully together (ep 8). Again, my opinion.
6. Ben’s fight with Toro. When I first saw the screenshot of Tarzan Ben and grownup Bumpy, I didn’t know what to make of it, except for telling everyone who predicted such an outcome ‘congratulations, you successfully predicted what would become of Ben and how he would reintroduce himself to the group”. But watching the ‘Ben Alone’ episode allowed the transformation to grow on me. Then his battle with Toro was the icing on the cake. I am a sucker for a good ‘person with primitive weapon vs much larger and very dangerous animal’ fight. And seeing a grownup Bumpy was cool as it was seeing B&B tag team Toro.
7. The fact that they acknowledge the Compies are venomous like in the novels. Makes the whole ‘how could a group of rat-sized dinos take out a full grown man’ scene from The Lost World much more believable.
8. Brooklynn rescuing Darius from Mitch and Tiff with a gyrosphere, then Brooklynn and Darius having a strong heart to heart with each other. Also Brooklynn calling him out on his heroic sacrifice. While I do love it when a character feels like they have do something of that nature, I really love it when characters with a strong bond with said character comes in a snaps them out of it. Sometimes it does not make sense to do a heroic sacrifice. Plus, them riding away from the dinosaur stampede in the gyrosphere is a neat callback to their season 1 experience in a gyrosphere in the middle of a dinosaur stampede. Also, their banter while stalling Mitch and Tiff was gold, and the elbow on the shoulder... If you haven’t noticed by now, I really ship these two characters.
9. Kenji, Sammy, Yaz, Ben, and Bumpy coming over the ridge, making noise, and booming Dave’s mixtapes to scare off the dinosaurs from the watering hole while Brooklynn and Darius smugly stall Mitch and Tiff was awesome sauce.
10. Mitch and Tiff getting eaten by the dinosaurs they ticked off. Note to self, don’t stick a taser in a T. rex’s nostril nor kill a member a Baryonyx pack or any dinosaur social group. JP/JW’s dinosaurs are apparently veery vengeful.
11. Rexy trying to devour Sammy and Darius. It was nice to see her actually be a giant, predatory, and indifferent force of nature instead of an anti-hero for once, not that I mind her anti-heroics.
I think thats it, if there’s more then I’ll just make a follow up. Next topic will either be a detail on my ships in season 2, a write up on some things I may not 100% love, or whether my predictions for season 2 held up or not. Also, I might do some season 3 predictions.
