The rockers released their entrees for the 10's and they have dealt with a different sort of reception of them. What I'm trying to claim here might be the fact rock no longer felt like a leading paradigm of popular music. Sure, the noughts showed that, yet the 10's solidified the notion, though some like Foo Fighters didn't care. True, I mentioned Dave Grohl's band, which remains a particular one, i.e. they rarely seemed to be accepted in the cool club, but Wasting Light, their 10's debut, signalled a changing attitude towards the group. While the LP remains a fine addition to their opus, I highly doubt the platter transformed their standing that much, yet the disc did provide the path they continue to travel on.
