🌺 when Chris hates you, you better believe he hates you with a passion

🌺 he’ll definitely hold on to a grudge forever. Like even if it’s something you did in middle school, he’s still thinking about it.

🌺 on that note, something like that is probably the reason you hate each other. Like you were probably friends with all of them until you did something to piss Chris off

🌺 you stopped being friends with Matt and Nick, just because Chris was slandering you and exaggerating everything you did to make you look like the bad guy.

🌺 in high school everyone knew about your rivalry.

🌺 like it was so bad that even the teachers knew about it. They would do everything in their power to not have you two sit near each other in the few classes that you did share (wich weren’t a lot).

🌺one day, one teacher got pretty pissed off at the fact that you two couldn’t function normally when being in the same room, so she paired you guys up for a project in hopes that you’d make up.

🌺 Chris isn’t an ass to most people, in fact he’s pretty bubbly and even childish. He’s really talkative and all. But with you. No.

🌺 you meet up for the project, but not so surprisingly, you get nothing done.

🌺 instead you two hooked up. There was just too much tension between you two. And it turned sexual quick.

🌺 you make it a habit and become friends with benefits, kind of.

🌺 well you still don’t text, and if you do it’s simple “come over”s.

🌺 you’d never say that you ‘need’ him. It’d inflate his ego too much.

🌺 he’d sometimes film your altercations. For personal benefit, and to embarrass you. Not that you would take it.

🌺 whenever one of you was submissive, it would definitely be a brat and brat tamer dynamic.

🌺 sometimes Chris would feel stubby, even then he’d never willingly submit.

🌺 even if Chris would film you to embarrass you, he’d never show those videos or pictures to anyone. Ever. (Same the other way around)

🌺 when they started to do YouTube and car videos, Chris would always sneak in disses.

🌺 like he’d make a backhanded comment about you or smt, and Nick would have to edit it out later on.

🌺 one day Chris thought it’d be a great idea to ask Nick for all the cut footage where he makes comments about you.

🌺 so on your birthday Chris posts a video on his personal YouTube, where he first talks to the camera and wishes you a happy birthday with the fakest smile ever.

🌺 the rest of the 20 minute video is just sequences ranging from full on rants about how much he hates you, to backhanded comments about you.

🌺 you feel offended, but really you’re shocked by how much Chris really talks about you.

🌺 so you just comment on the YouTube video with “damn, you talk about me so much🥺” sarcastically, obviously. Chris doesn’t pin it, but a bunch of people seeing the video like it giving you a permanent place at the top of the comment section.

🌺 you start your own YouTube channel just to hate on Chris.

🌺 sure you were making TikTok’s and going pretty viral there too. You’d make GRWM’s where you talk about how much you hate ‘orange’.

🌺 you’d only ever refer to chris as orange, because he used to be known as the orange hoodie guy, or as Christopher.

🌺 your YouTube blows up. And at first you were mainly just doing Minecraft lets plays (it was 2021 ok), where you were taking about your Emanze hatred a little more.

🌺 on your TikTok’s, Chris would comment things like. “Using me for clout now too 🙄”

🌺 the sassier, and ruder your comments got the harder Chris would fuck you.

🌺 whenever you said something extra, you could almost be sure that Chris would be at your house to fuck you stupid.

🌺 you’d also given Chris a spare key tho your house. Wich probably wasn’t that good of an idea but you didn’t care either way.

🌺 you reconnected with Matt and nick. you started to talk to them again

🌺 wich pissed Chris off, only because now his brothers would stop him when he went to shit talk you.

🌺 your hatred for each other definetly lasted for forever.

🌺 but one day when Chris finally realized that he didn’t want you to be with someone else it clicked.

🌺 but it was seemingly too late.

🌺 Chris and his brothers moved to LA for better opportunities while you stayed back in Boston.

🌺 and while Chris genuinely thought the only reason why you were getting views was him, he was wrong.

🌺 once he moved away and you two stopped talking, your content started to shift too and you started to get more recognition as well.

🌺 whenever Chris came back to Boston, wich wasn’t that frequent, you’d hook up a few times.

🌺 but as soon as he left it was like that never happened.

🌺 on the triplets birthday you’d post a picture of you four together on your insta story wishing them a happy birthday. But you’d cross out Chris’ face.

🌺 a whole year passed like that. Until the drake and Kendrick beef (💀).

🌺 after Kendrick dropped euphoria, you used it on TikTok, the part that’s like “I hate the way you walk..” and tagged Chris in it. You captioned the video “a day as the biggest hater.”

🌺 it seemed like the internet suddenly remembered your past content and the pretty public beef between you and Chris.

🌺 people started to edit you two together to that audio.

🌺 even worse ship you, and say shit like “enemies to lovers”, “they’re just in denial” and whatnot.

🌺 after months of radio silence Chris reached out to you again telling you he’d be home for Mother’s Day and that you two would need to talk.

🌺 you left him on read, but when he showed up at your house at the time and date he’d told you, you opened the door and let him in.

🌺 this time he wasn’t there to fuck tho.

🌺 he’d noticed what your favorite flowers were back in high school. And after all you’d even gotten the flower tattooed.

🌺 he got you your favorite flowers.

🌺 you looked at him all confused.

🌺 and suddenly he was confessing to you.

🌺 your jaw dropped. After all you’d realized you were in love in those months of radio silence between meet ups, but you didn’t think it was mutual.

🌺 “if i actually hated you, we wouldn’t have ever hooked up”

🌺 in the end he took you on a few dates.

🌺 you flew out to LA just for shits and giggles, and rented your own apartment there.

🌺 you and Chris made it official and finally told his brother that you’d been fucking since junior year.

🌺 first off, I feel like it’d be really hard to even get Matt to hate you.

🌺 so I feel like you were either childhood friends and have always hated each other, or you’re an influencer he met at a party.

🌺 in the secound option, he’d probably think you’re really fake and feel awkward or uncomfortable around you.

🌺 but somehow you get really close to Matt’s brothers Nick and Chris, and with you being around all the time he starts to develop this hatred to you.

🌺 weather that be because he hates the way you act, or because he’s trying to suppress his feelings.

🌺 anyhow, he goes on to pine for you for so long.

🌺 and Nick and Chris can tell, so they hype him up to tell you that he likes you wich he ends up doing.

🌺that or like I said you’ve known each other for long. In wich case Matt’s been hating you since forever.

🌺 he doesn’t even know why it started, he just hates you.

🌺 he also doesn’t go flaunting around that he hates you like Chris would, only your inner circle and friends know you hate each other.

🌺 despite not saying it out loud, your hatred for each other is intense.

🌺 you could barely stand being next to each other.

🌺 tho all the mean comments that were made were made in your mind, you barely ever said anything out loud.

🌺 when you two did get into a fight it would be a yelling match. Because you may be physically smaller than him, and he could probably (definitely), pick you up and throw you around if he wanted to.

🌺 you could yell and you could yell loud.

🌺 your comments are creative, mainly from how much you hung out with Nick.

🌺 also, your hatred for each other didn’t dim down your friendship with Nick or Chris, mainly because you are so quiet about your hatred.

🌺 usually you’d win the argument just because you had a retort for practically everything Matt could say.

🌺 you had to do everything together, because of how close your families are.

🌺 so all three of your would go to the gym together, or to parties, and school, and whatnot. You shared plenty of classes with Matt too.

🌺 you’d watch each other closely. Not to admire, but to criticize the other in your head and figure out small weaknesses about the other to used in future outbursts.

🌺 over time tho that started to change. You’d notice all the small stuff about each other.

🌺 Matt started to unintentionally do stuff to make your day to day life easier.

🌺 he’d find random reasons to take AUX from Chris and give it to Nick instead. All because nicks music taste is closer to yours

🌺 or when he was cut if fruit for himself and you were home he’d leave some cut on the counter for whoever would take them, hoping it’d be you.

🌺 he noticed what brand of lipgloss you use and got it and put it in his car where you usually sit on your way to school, because the knows you tend to forget your stuff and get all upset.

🌺 you don’t notice any of this tho. Especially the lipgloss one. You just assume that you forgot the lipgloss in the car the day before and don’t think anything of it.

🌺 you, or well your parents would buy soda. You had always made it a point to never get root beer. But recently you’d gotten a few cans and put them in the fridge. You don’t even like root beer that much.

🌺 your brother doesn’t mind them tho. So sometimes he’d drink them, and you just told yourself you were getting them for your brother and definetly not for Matt.

🌺 in the fridge you always had coke cherry, Pepsi, and Fanta, but now also root beer.

🌺 you started to be able to read Matt like a book. Well you could before too, but before you only cared about what he was possibly judging you for, now you noticed everything.

🌺 one day you were in your shared class with Matt. You’d noticed that he was tense all day. Suddenly he ended up getting up taking his stuff and storming about of the classroom.

🌺 you were shocked at first. Matt was never confident enough to just leave like that, right?

🌺 you had a gut feeling that submerging was definitely wrong, so you packed up and followed him. Something that you wouldn’t have done a few months ago.

🌺 he was standing at the front door to the school. You rushed up to him to see him crying and hyperventilating.

🌺 you guided him outside to his car. You put him in the passenger seat. And since you can drive you drove to a parking lot down the road from your school.

🌺 that was the first time you weren’t internally mocking him. You felt empathic and sorry for him.

🌺 the line between hatred and love was always thin, but it started to blur more and more as the days passed.

🌺 when the triplets started to gain fame on YouTube, and were planning on moving to LA, Nick asked you to move with them.

🌺 since you’re childhood best friends Chris and Nick ‘wouldn’t know what to do without you’. (You just know how to cook and they wanted you there as their personal chef 💀)

🌺 if Matt was sitting on the couch watching a movie and you wanted to watch they movie too, you’d sit close to him and cuddle.

🌺 if you were making a snack , you were making two. One for Matt, one for you. If Matt didn’t want it, anyone could have it for.

🌺 if Matt went grocery shopping with one of his brother she made sure to get your favorite soda, and also the to follow the list of things you need home that you’d sent him.

🌺 the fans thought you were dating. But not for no reason either. There were plenty of reasons.

🌺 when Matt, Nick and Chris got their nails down for the first time, Matt got the same color as you.

🌺 if you were bored he’d let you paint his nails, or you’d cuddle or you could play with his hair.

🌺 at that point Chris and Nick were convinced that you’d gotten over your hatred, or that you’ve always had loved each other and were finally dating.

🌺 but you weren’t. And when Nick asked Matt about it he tried to deny it.

🌺 yet now the idea was in his mind, and sure enough he got you your favorite flowers and finally asked you out.

🌺 when Nick hates you, he hates you with a passion. He’s a born hater after all.

🌺 but then again he hates you so much that he would like to avoid anything and everything that has to do with you.

🌺 you guys share one class, and he skipped that class so many times until his brother started to force him to go

🌺 you’re on the same lacrosse team as his brothers. So Nick would have to decide between not going and avoiding you, or going and supporting it brothers.

🌺 his brothers would always get a mouthful before and or after the game.

🌺 because you are a lacrosse jock Nick thought you were straight. After all you had girls swooning all over you all the time.

🌺 and Nick, up until sophomore year, had so much internalized homophobia in him.

🌺 you didn’t really come out either, but when Nick came out you heard through the grape vine.

🌺 while Nick was all for hating you it was almost one sided.

🌺 you two would rarely get into arguments, because of how little you talk, but when you did it was mainly just nicks angry ranting.

🌺 you wouldn’t reply. Because Nick has a way with words. He’d find a way to twist and turn your words in a way to make an even worse arguments and you didn’t want to fuel the fire.

🌺 once Nick came out he realized just how attractive he thought you were.

🌺 on your lacrosse games he wasn’t even watching his brother, just you.

🌺 your parents weren’t homophobic, but because of how jocky you are they didn’t think that you were gay.

🌺 you first came out to Matt and Chris, just because they’re one of your closest friends, and Nick is gay, so they should accept it right?

🌺 they took it great, and you got the confidence to come out to your parents too.

🌺 Chris and Matt had promised they wouldn’t tell anyone. And they stood with that they hadn’t even told Nick.

🌺 one day you were having yet another argument with Nick, but this time instead of letting his mouth run like you usually would, you pressed your lips in his.

🌺 you didn’t even know if Nick was into you like that. You just needed him to shut up for once.

🌺 Nick kissed back, wich was a whole surprise on its own.

🌺 you ended up telling Nick that he needs to shut the fuck up, and use that mouth for something good.

🌺 that was the first time Nick sucked dick.

🌺 you had gotten head from some random girl before, wich made you realize just how little you were into woman.

🌺 yet when Nick did it, it just turned you on so much.

🌺 after that the next week Nick avoided you even harder. No backhanded comments, not glares from across the room. nothing.

🌺 you went to nicks house, knocking on the door you prayed it’d be Nick that answered.

🌺 he did, and he almost shut the door into your face too embarrassed to even meet your eyes.

🌺 but you grabbed the door and pushed it back open, inviting yourself in.

🌺 “Nick, we should talk.” “No.”

🌺 Nick is stubborn when he wants to be. And he will ignore everything and anything in his way.

🌺 “please just listen” “what the fuck is there to talk about? I didn’t even fucking know you were gay until I was sucking your dick!”

🌺 just when you were about to respond you saw Matt and Chris out of the corner of your eyes.

🌺 your eyes widened and you groaned loudly. You rubbed your face. He just couldn’t have said that louder.

🌺 Nick was embarrassed too when he saw his brothers behind him.

🌺 he ended up pulling you to his bedroom where you finally talked things out.

🌺 Nick was dead set on not officially dating you until you’d taken him out on a date and properly asked him.

ok I'm watching Alyssa & Katie's pregnancy Q&A here's what stuck out or what I just want to bitch about:

1. Weirdest craving: Alyssa's was bbq chips on a sandwich, which Katie said 'ew', and her's was spicy 'Ray-man' (Ramen) noodles with peanut butter M&Ms (way grosser imho than chip sandwiches, which actually sound good). In a later question they say they both have been craving Little Cesar's pizza and crazy bread.

2. Most unexpected thing about pregnancy/postpartum: both agree that they had no idea how constipated they'd be from the medications they have to take lol. Katie is so embarrassed admitting this that he ears turn red and says she starts sweating (oh my sweet summer child). Alyssa says for postpartum it was just all the pain and soreness that lingers for so long.

3. One thing that's not talked about that you wish you were prepared for: Katie says she wasn't prepared for so much interrupted sleep during pregnancy, she expected her sleep issues to begin after the baby was born. Alyssa says post partum, she had crazy night sweats that she was not at all anticipating.

4. Hardest thing to give up while pregnant: Alyssa says sex, especially in your first trimester when you're nauseous, she says that's when she has the hardest time doing the deed and misses it. Katie turns bright red and says "I can't believe you said that!", I say hell yea Alyssa for admitting you miss the D. Katie gets too embarrassed to even answer.

5. How to deal with stretch marks: Alyssa says she doesn't worry about it so much because she believes them to be genetic (I'm inclined to agree with her but not sure tbh). Katie says she just rubs herself down with every product she can find every night just in case one of them works lol.

6. Worst part of postpartum: Alyssa again says that she misses getting some on the regular which, kudos to her libido tbh. I mean I get it, those hormone fluctuations have to suck when you can't act on them lol, Katie is again visibly uncomfy of course (on one hand I get why, on the other it's not like Alyssa is going into vivid detail or anything but whatever).

7. (Just for Katie) What has been the most surprising part of pregnancy for you?: Katie literally says that she was surprised pregnancy wasn't more..............glamorous. Which I find to just be an absolutely absurd thing for someone who's known so many pregnant women to say, like do they all really communicate this little about what it's actually like??? She actually says that she thought it was going to be all cute bump photos and outfits and now that she's sick and struggles to put on makeup most mornings she's having a rude awakening like, I'm sorry I know she's young and ignorant but this has to be one of the most completely ignorant things I've heard any of them say. If there's anything these bozos should at least be partial experts on its babies and pregnancy, and none of Katie's sisters have had 'glamorous' pregnancies?? That one got me riled up lol.

8. (For Alyssa) if this is going to be your last pregnancy, how do you plan to prevent other pregnancies in the future?: She isn't sure and says she's still looking into her options for now. She cuts her answer short by saying this question might actually be a little too personal which ??? you just mentioned your (apparently vigorous) sex life not once but twice and I don't get how that's any less personal, especially in your corner of the Christian universe, but ok (I guess maybe baby prevention could really be that much more taboo than even openly talking about sex).

9. A pregnant follower who's afraid of tearing asks Alyssa if she's ever experienced it: Alyssa says yes, esp with her first baby she had to get stitches. Katie says tearing and aftercare are her worst fears along with pooping during birth. Alyssa says she's also afraid of pooping and it's happened to her once so far (don't get me wrong I love that she's being so candid but again how is this less personal than birth control).

10. Is sex weird when you're pregnant?: Alyssa is again the only one that answers, Katie gets red and looks away from the camera (oh c'mon Katie). Alyssa says yes, when you're 9 months pregnant and huge sometimes you gotta get creative (that made me lol).

11. Is it normal for husbands and wives (in their world I'm assuming) to talk about the details of pregnancy?: Alyssa says it depends, and that some guys aren't as interested as others or maybe only overhear stuff that sisters are discussing with each other. Katie says she feels like she can talk openly with Travis about everything so far (which at first I was like great!), Alyssa jokes that Travis can watch this video to help prepare him. Katie says "omg no I'd be too embarrassed!!" and my previous optimism about their open communication deflates lol. At this point I'm like ok, I mean this in the nicest of ways but grow up tf Katie. Alyssa's mentioned MARRIED sex in the *vaguest* of terms and you haven't said anything even remotely scandalous (unless you count poop as scandalous), that shouldn't be embarrassing in front of your hubs of all people girl!!

12. How did you know you were ready to start having kids?: Alyssa says she doesn't know if she ever felt 100% ready and that she's not sure if that's even something that's possible (I agree!). She adds that as long as the circumstances are good, you can afford it, you're in a good place with your partner, and you're otherwise as prepared as you can be, just go for it if you know it's something you want for yourself (Katie doesn't answer but nods).

13. How do you avoid repeating baby names in such a large family?: Both Alyssa and Katie say repeating names or having similar names isn't something the family really worries about, because it's understood that with so many people, you're bound to run into duplicates or similarities at some point. They both seem very nonchalant about it and I wish all the people who think similar-sounding baby names cause big drama in their families could hear that lol.

14. Do you get annoyed when people touch your pregnant belly?: Both say no if it's family or good friends, but that they don't really like being touched by strangers or acquaintances as much and I'm totally with them there. I think it's weird as hell to just touch a stranger's stomach without consent. Katie says she's not comfortable telling people not to touch her though, so when it happens she just kind of stands there with a strained smile (aw).

15. Baby item that you don't think is useful or is silly: Alyssa says baby wipe warmer lol, which is always something I've thought is silly so it's good to have that confirmation. She says you're grabbing wipes on the run so much that it's not worth it to get your kids used to warm wipes bc they'll just freak out when they have to be changed elsewhere with cold ones. Katie says she has one on her registry and shopped for a long time to find the exact right one 😂

Overall I thought the video was super cute and entertaining, I love the dynamic between Alyssa and Katie where they're kind of polar opposites but really good friends. I really appreciated Alyssa's answers more than I expected, I think she's just gotten to that phase of life where she realizes it's silly to be uptight about things that are just facts of life and I can appreciate that.

Katie mentions being uncomfortable again in their sign-off and says that she talked about things in this video that she usually doesn't even talk to her sisters about, which again makes me a little sad bc I really hoped they'd be closer and more open than that (hopefully she's just saying for youtube because she's embarrassed and shy). I just think if that's true and she can't talk to her sisters about sex or bodily functions or pregnancy who can she talk to about that stuff, ya know? Travis I would hope, but she kinda kibosh'd that as well. They end with Alyssa promising they'll do it again, and that Katie won't be so bashful next time 😂

@smalina requested this in the comment section under one of my posts so here it is! i literally had to remake this post bc it glitched just like my averyjameson one and i had to type everything again (cause i write everything directly on tumblr and not on google docs so i didn't have another copy of my work). not proof read bc im done with this. hope you like it!

she'd send toby postcards with updates on her son (or kids in general) like her mom used to do with him.

the pregnancy would be really hard on her. morning sickness, unbearable back pain, braxton hicks contractions (or however that's spelled)

he used to love picking flowers for her. he found out her favorites were orchids (also her moms) and started planting them in their garden. he surprised her with them one day and she literally cried

he always kisses her cheek before he heads to school bc, according to him, it'll be a bad day if he doesn't.

loves asking for fashion advice from her bc over the years, she's learned a lot.

they have a cookbook together with all of their favorite recipes.

she makes sure to include him in all of the family's decision making. like at some point, they were looking for a condo to sometimes live in when they wanted to escape hawthorne house, and they made him choose his favorite so that he knew his opinion was important to them.

he learned how to play chess at six like his mom.

they go on missions stealing pens from grayson's pencil collection together.

i head canon that he learned how to paint (thanks to grayson) and sometimes paints these beautiful landscapes for her to hang in their house.

she's literally his #1 biggest supporter. he'd learn all of his colors and she'll swing him around kissing his cheek. it makes him feel loved

speaking of her being supportive, he loves hearing her approval so much that when he learns something new, he'll hop on her bed at night and tell her all about it bc he loves hearing her congratulate him.

she pinches his nose when he isn't listening or gets distracted (really lightly but still)

he does his hmk with her a lot bc it helps him concentrate. they'll talk about each other's days and stuff and it makes him feel loved.

he used to make homemade cards and write messages in them for avery. he'd look up youtube videos to make them look special and stuff.

he once convinced her to get him a shirt that says 'i have the best mom ever' written on it.

he loves playing with barbie dolls with her. he especially likes going out to buy new ones with her bc they have a lot of fun judging and rating them

he used to do chores a lot to earn money (which he obviously doesn't have to do cause they have a lot of it but he likes feeling like he earned it) and he'd use that money to buy avery flowers or sweaters

she sometimes gets sad bc he asks her about his grandmother and she never knows what to respond.

he loves braiding her hair (just like i hc jamie does). he loves playing with hair in general (grayson's especially). he likes burying his nose in it and stuff.

she's super protective (but not in a toxic way). he once got punished at school for defending a kid getting bullied. she said such draw dropping things to the principal he revoked the punishment and made him class president (moral of the story, don't mess with avery)

she usually knows when jamie and him are pranking her, but she knows it means a lot to her son so she acts surprised.

they love looking at picture books together of jamie and her on trips when they were younger. he asks tons of questions and it makes him feel like he knew them when they were younger (they sit on the floor with tons of pictures around them laughing)

avery made him this board he can hang stuff on so that, whenever they go on trips and he gets a new souvenir (keychain or charm), he can hang it up there. he wants to travel the world when he's older.

when they go on trips together, avery puts him on her shoulders so that he can see everything. he's really curious and hates feeling excluded.

he loves reading and talking to avery about all of his favorite books. he's super into thrillers and murder mysteries.

she loves buying him sweaters because she finds them super cute on him and he loves them too cause they’re soft. she tends to buy them in green so that it matches his eyes (he has jamie’s eyes)

when he was really young (like newborn), she used to love playing with his hair. he didn’t have much of it, but what he did have was really soft and she found playing with it to be comforting

when he’d have nightmares, she’d cradle him in her arms and sing him to sleep. he found her voice super comforting and thought it chased away the ‘bad guys trying to scare him’

avery always had to change his clothes when he was younger. he used to undress himself and walk around naked all of the time forcing avery to put his clothes back on or he’d be spilling stuff on his shirt which avery would then have to replace.

Chapter 3 of 21 Questions

Matt had just been chilling in his room when he heard his phone. His brothers – triplets actually – and he were spending the evening alone on their own as they had spent the whole day together filming for their YouTube channel. It had only been two years and a half since they started making content but they were already quite popular on social media. As Matt thought it was either Chris or Nick asking him to drive them somewhere – Matt was the only one among them with a driver’s licence, he took his phone, mentally preparing himself to get dressed and leave the comfort of his bed.

With an obvious surprise on his face, Matt unlocked his phone and saw that it was actually an unknown number that had texted him.

Matt was confused because he wasn’t used to receiving actual texts from random people, except for an occasional wrong number which he would never respond to. As he thought about how he didn’t have anything to do at the moment, why not play.

And so, as Matt replied to the stranger, he learnt that the girl on the other side of a screen was almost the female version of his brother Nick: she loved autumn and had a nose ring – ok it’s not much but this was enough to compare the two. The conversation was nicely flowing between the two teenagers until Matt ended up being called by his youngest brother as Chris was in need of McDonald’s at ten o’clock. Therefore, he had to quickly find a way to leave the girl he was talking to on his phone and took the opportunity of discovering that she was a cat person to funnily exit the discussion, hoping not to appear rude to her – well he was a bit, mystery girl and her best friend had judged him a lot.

During the next couple of days, Matt actually forgot about the girl who had texted him on a random evening. To be fair, his brothers and he had been busy filming – they had come back from tour last month and settled back into their usual routine. This was the reason why Matt hadn’t responded to the girl. Of course, he wasn’t feeling guilty as they weren’t even friends – yet – but when he saw on the Messages application that he had unread texts from her, Matt remembered that he actually had a good time talking to the mysterious girl; and the fact that his day was sort of over – over in the sense that Chris already ate and thus wouldn't be interrupting Matt again – pushed the middle triplet to get back to know the cat person who he had suddenly abandoned. Now opening their conversation, Matt finally read the last messages from a few days ago.

Like, Tennessee is damn wrong for going after Danny knowing he had a gf during his time in the locked in house, but it's acc sm worse that Danny never responded appropriately? Like, Tennesse shouldn't have come onto him, plain as... But Danny (as a taken man) literally had a responsibility to just not? As the one in a relationship, even if a girl does come onto u, you're meant to respond appropriately by just not reciprocating

The whole thing feels like an Olivia Rodrigo song for ex!gf, honestly, like, we know that Danny technically didn't cheat in the locked in house, but there's still that breach of boundaries and obvious show of feelings that Danny had for Tennessee, by the fact that not even a month later they are in a relationship. Quite sure there actually is a Rodrigo line something like that...

And genuinely, ex!gf has never (on the internet) been shown to do anything wrong... To be honest, she's the only one that feels as though she's in the right in this situation. But no, Danny's fanboys are still seeing her as the antagonist by hurling insults at her and saying she was doing smth wrong is WIIIIIILD

The praise Danny recieves for pulling Tennessee is in some way empathisable in the sense that yk... He wasn't the best looking but managed to pull an undeniably gorgeous woman- but the fact that you don't see anyone calling him out about the fact that yk... You borderline cheated and were so disrespectful as a bf is such a shock

I suppose it does have smth to do w his audience which is mainly incel-fifa-boys who have been raised on the misogyny of various YouTube and social media toxic campaigns, but that still does slightly scare me bc who knows when those fans will acc grow up and see the bigger picture (assuming that they will at some pt) + how these things will influence the audience when it becomes their time to yk, go out and start interacting w women (phrased that so weirdly but hopefully u get the gist)

Now Teeennesseeee.... Honestly, I don't really know much about her persona. First found out ab her when she went on Misfits and abso everyone called her leng. Then in locked in when everyone once again, called her leng. To be honest, it's quite incredible the way that I haven't seen a single male hate on her online, considering usually female creators are bullied for something trivial. And I've only ever seen her get called a gold digger once for dating Digga D and then moving to Danny, but that's pretty easily refutable.

But if she is a male validation attention seeker then hats BACK ON for her. Not a hats off moment.

Really weird to go after a guy who was in a relationship in the first place, and after literally being teh main reason for his gf to break up w Danny, then CONTINUING to flaunt and tease a relationship w Danny on the internet is so disrespectful n insensitive it is CRAAAAZY

Fact that Danny seems to be completely senseless and oblivious to these common courtesies also feels like such an American influencer sort of apathy towards his ex's emotions which makes me completely agree sv5 nonnie, i reckon he's compleeeetely let money and a (wrongly) supportive fanbase get to his head and give him that cloud 9 feeling which enables him to do a lot more than what's morally correct - and still feel as though he can get away with it.

Hi, my love! Thank you so much. I totally teared up reading this and I am not the slightest bit ashamed to admit it. Every single thing I post is crafted with love — I do it because I love working on them and because I love being able to make my fellow fans happy through my work. There truly is no more rewarding feeling. I have posted a whopping 119 fics/imagines/AUs on here and typing that number out really made me realize how crazy that is and how far I have come since I started this blog back in November

I can’t lie, sometimes the research and time I put into each of my works can feel overwhelming at first but I am always proud of the end product and especially happy to share it with you all. Some are lighthearted fun and I can have them completed in a few hours while others run deeper and can take me days upon days to finish. I truly want to build a mini immersive world through each of my AUs and I am so happy that you have been able to get that experience through them

Also I like to say that delusions make the world go round (and help keep us sports fans semi-sane) so I am more than happy to contribute on that end

finally validated my opinions, when I thought I was alone

then someone in the comments mentioned a different channel so I thought i'd check it out:

and things started making a lot of sense. it's like this one person had the common sense that I could feel was missing from seemingly everyone I interacted with (watch videos) on the internet.

after another video, and it's one I'd been meaning to watch a lot sooner, but it's been in my watch later for a long time and I guess it just got buried and I forgot about it lol

I never really check the watch later playlist unless I'm really bored and it's something I remember

(I am 100% a Spooky girl by the way (though for a different- I guess not directly but I have the vibes and those are things that I would do if it wasn't for the fact that I can't for some reason (yes I see the hypocrisy here but trust me on this)) and have been aware of it this whole time and it's also the exact type of person that I really hate and I think the word for it for the general public is "poser") (which is way more accurate to what I am imo)

like people think the production on the 1989 vault tracks left something to be desired and started making their own mixes, and I think that's what people should do with some of olivia rodrigo's music too! ok but like pretty isn't pretty was pretty much perfect so don't mess with that one lol

and also why I think the live performances sometimes sound so much better than the recorded version lol

hey guys! So, today we’re going to be talking about 4 time Grammy winning musician Olivia Rodrigo’s latest hit single, vampire. This song reached number #1 on the Billboard hot 100 last week, and that’s almost to be expected of an artist like her. It also took YouTube by storm, (since it was sponsored, in part, haha, though I doubt it wouldn’t have blown up anyways) and I’m pretty sure it’s really popular on TikTok as well. (though I wouldn’t know, because I spend all of my time on YouTube shorts instead, lol) Ok now, personally, I liked her last album Sour, so I was excited to see what new song she came up with next! So, curious to see what it was, I checked it out on the trending page and… suffice to say, I was a little disappointed. I mean, it had such good parts, and musically, it was nice and I could tell what she was trying to do, but I mean, lyrically, I just felt like it could be better. Like, I’ve heard Taylor Swift songs in the past, and even if you don’t like her style, you’ve gotta admit she’s really good at writing lyrics. Not only does she convey her thought with such vivid imagery and a poetic stricture, but the words sound really nice to listen to as well. I’m not an English major, so I can’t go into too much depth there, but I’m sure there’s a lot of videos out there that can explain what I mean here. And as a personal anecdote, my 7th grade class was given her lyrics to Red to analyze for an assignment lol. So I mean, there’s one frame of reference for you guys, haha. But getting back to Vampire, her lyrics on there just don’t feel the same. I know they aren’t supposed to, but in its place they should adopt her own style. But to me, it just feels a bit… idk childish? I know I’m not that much older than her, but still. (Turns out she was 19 when she wrote this, which makes so much sense now, and that’s basically still a kid lol.) Taylor and Demi Lovato have both written great lyrics when they were both around her age. But, Taylor is kind of a lyrical poet, and Demi probably had a lot of help, since I looked on the Genius page and it said the song I want to compare later was cowritten by Nikki Williams, who was 25 at the time. So it’s a bit unfair to compare, but we’ll see.

Musically, I maybe I just don’t get pop opera, but I think the transition from piano to full on pop song is cool, but feels a bit misplaced. Like, it sounds like a good idea in concept, but I don’t know if it translated well. (as maybe she or the producer might have hoped.) But aside from that, maybe it’s just me but I think she liked the bridge-like(? idk just guessing here based off of my own feeling) chorus a bit too much, that she ended up relying on it to make the song great. Don’t get me wrong— musically, it’s a great part, and she should definitely be proud of herself for coming up with it as she did, but do you really have to repeat it 3 times?? I can definitely say that that it’s the key defining highlight of the song, but when you repeat it so much, it sounds tiring and overused. Imo People don’t care if you repeat the chorus a lot, because the chorus is almost meant to be repeated, but I really think that it sounds a bit too same when it’s repeated in this context. The beginning too, now that I mention it. But hey, this part could just be my own personal preference, and that’s valid too, I guess, since it’s just my opinion lol. 

And also, I heard someone say that the instrumental at the end left them wanting more, and I agree that it felt like it ended abruptly, and either it should have ended sooner, or maybe padded out a bit more? idk, but the ending just felt abrupt.

But I do have to say, I really liked the bridge part, and the rest of the song after. I just wish the whole song was good! I mean, imo they should have gone harder on the dramatic angle of it all, like maybe have her in black and white with red lipstick at the piano or something. Extend the craziness of her mind, even if she wasn’t? I don’t know haha, I don’t relate to the song, so this again this is probably just a personal preference. (lol Otto)

Also, it sounds kind of like her previous songs, but that’s not really anything to worry about imo, because all artists are a bit privy to that, she said that’s what she was going for, in which case she nailed the “same but kinda different” kind of thing, and it’s not a bad thing imo.

But, I guess, now it’s time to look at the ;lyrics. (warning, I think some of it is childish and a bit cringe. if not, just hoping it could be better :(. )

Now, I know that writing good lyrics really doesn’t have to do with age, but more about your own maturity, and your maturity as a writer. I know it’s a bit unfair to compare as I made those comparisons before, but if you look into the lyrics a bit, hopefully you’ll start to see what I mean.

Ok, so this isn’t too bad, (now after listening about 100 times I like the first 4 lines! :D) but “Lᴏᴏᴋ ᴀᴛ ʏᴏᴜ, ᴄᴏᴏʟ ɢᴜʏ, ʏᴏᴜ ɢᴏᴛ ɪᴛ” sounds a bit playful, if not childish. If she’s taking on a childish tone on purpose because she’s still very “naive” as she mentions later, then I have to commend her for her genius. But also, it might show up unintentionally, as she mentioned that this song just came out of her head one day after a bad experience, so as a child, this might be just how she thinks, and on the spot, this is what she thought of. It makes me kind of miffed, and it’s a bit hard to listen to, but you can’t really blame her at the end of the day. Plus it sounds kind of cool! :D lkokolololol <- me on no sleep

and here comes my theory that the management wanted this part to take off on TikTok all along, because it’s really good (musically imo) but didn’t really put as much attention on the rest? Like girl, I thought we were on the same page about hating songs only made for TikTok! really short, and only having one good part, like you can tell! 

Like “If We Ever Broke Up” by Mae Stephens is the perfect _counter_ to this argument, because it got popular on TikTok and every part of that song is catchy and good, and I think the whole song is perfect. But then again, it’s also kind of short, but also I don’t think it needs to be longer, because then it’s overdone. 

But maybe the way Vampire was written was just because it was difficult to come up with! Idk, but I think it could really be due to anything, and I can’t say for sure, I know that. But anyways, I think lyrically, it’s a bit weak. and the ending made me want to listen to it more, which is a TikTok move, but also just because the song has some really good parts in it, which is just because the song is nice and not a TikTok move I don’t think haha :)

Honestly, “‘Cᴀᴜsᴇ I’ᴠᴇ ᴍᴀᴅᴇ sᴏᴍᴇ ʀᴇᴀʟ ʙɪɢ ᴍɪsᴛᴀᴋᴇs” has kind of the same energy as “For one day, one day / I was really, really, really, really sad” by One Whole Day by Dixie D’Amelio. And she didn’t even write that song!

and so every time I hear that lyric, I get kind of cringe, it’s a bit sad. :( lol

but now I don’t mind after listening to it for like the 100th time lol

Moving on…

“Bᴜᴛ ʏᴏᴜ ᴍᴀᴋᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀsᴛ ᴏɴᴇ ʟᴏᴏᴋ ғɪɴᴇ” this line is fine, and it would probably be fine among a sea of other lines that are better, but even still, it would be the weakest out of those lines, but satisfying nonetheless.

This song may be musically satisfying, but lyrically, it’s not. (edit, again, after listening to it about 100 times, I now don’t care about most of it but “dream crusher” still sounds cringe, but the go version probably isn’t.) I may not understand the pain, and I understand that in the middle of writing this song, she was probably thinking about her own emotional pain and not really caring about the lyrics, so I get why it’s like this, and I don’t mind one bit, because that’s her song. And, I mean, She probably wouldn’t have released it of she didn’t like it. haha, unless she was rushed? idk. probably not though!

But still, if you take that aspect away, it’s a bit hard to visualize, appearing weak at times, with a tell not show kind of approach, and at other times it feels like she’s trying too hard, giving the whole song an amateur kind of feel. But Sour wasn’t like this, and I just can’t get why. Like good 4 u had a lot of repetition too, but that was fine, because it felt like that part that was repeated was _meant_ to be repeated, and it was satisfying when it did. You knew what to expect, and it was a little predicable but that was fine. It was nice, even. But this song feels predictable in a kinda bad way, and I don’t really understand why. :(

Ok, back to looking at the lyrics, lol.

It’s also very her, especially in the way that she phrased it while singing, so I have to give her credit for that. Maybe this one is just a personal preference, for me lol Like maybe it rings true for her because it was and it’s just something that I’ve never thought about lol :)

Listening back, it sounds more like a facepalm than anything.

 I like this part, especially the rhythmic feel to it as the song speeds up later. I think the clean version is a bit silly though, and having the not clean version in the second line really delivers the impact. Though that same impact isn’t really felt for me in the first line, and “ʙʟᴏᴏᴅsᴜᴄᴋᴇʀ” had more impact than when she used the bad word I think trying to have an impact (but that could also be just because I don’t know the context of that word, or it just sounds weird coming from a child like her, not really understanding the power that that word holds, but still wants people to take her seriously and think of her as a person who uses that word like “I’m not the kid that you think I am”). Haha, at this point I think she has more impact when she writes from the heart and isn’t trying lol. But that could be totally untrue, but it would be funny lol.

This sounds like classic high school drama from one perspective, but like her friends really care about her, from another.

Like, if you’re only going for rhyme, I found this in the BuzzFeed article I was reading earlier of of curiosity “"Maybe then we could pretend / There's no gravity in the words we write / Maybe you didn't mean it / Maybe "blonde" was the only rhyme."” -Skin by Sabrina Carpenter

which I thought was way better lyrics than most of Olivia Rodrigo’s entire song Vampire. Just looking at the lyrics, and has nothing to do with their personal relationship, as I don’t really know about that.

But then again, maybe I was just too harsh, and this is just a reference to something that I don’t understand. Like I wouldn’t personally think about “flinching” when it comes to lying unless it was under a very specific context, but maybe that’s what Olivia Rodrigo is hinting at here, without explaining the whole story.

Initially I thought Again, trying a bit too hard here, or maybe it didn’t really come across, but I like the idea that they were going for. 

But after reanalyzing the line before this, it makes more sense in that context, and also explains why she would be really hurt here. Especially because she repeats the line a lot, maybe meaning that he lied multiple times and really hurt her to make her want to repeat that line that much.

This part is nice, “Oʜ, ᴡʜᴀᴛ ᴀ ᴍᴇsᴍᴇʀɪᴢɪɴɢ, ᴘᴀʀᴀʟʏᴢɪɴɢ, ᴛʀᴀɢɪᴄ ʟɪᴛᴛʟᴇ ᴛʜʀɪʟʟ” is kind of a lot to say at once, but I can respect it, it’s kind of like a emotion cake lol. “‘Cᴀᴜsᴇ ɢɪʀʟs ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴀɢᴇ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ʙᴇᴛᴛᴇʀ” :) those two last lines remind of her last album, and she does it so well here. :)

The bridge and chorus again sound epic with the increased tension from the instrumental :)

At first I was like did you really have to repeat the iconic part a third time? or is it the chorus at this point? Or was it all along? (yes) :thinking: emoji, but after a while, it’s not that bad. It rocks! And only listening to the last part of the song is epic!!!!!! :D the leadup, however it was executed, was worth it, haha :)

Overall, this song is not bad, great at times, even, but I just wish it was better because I get frustrated at its potential, especially because it reminds me of other songs that are really great at times like Heart Attack by Demi Lovato, and I really love that song, and it makes me frustrated that this song isn’t that one :(. After the “‘Cᴀᴜsᴇ ʜᴏᴡ ʏᴏᴜ ᴛʜɪɴᴋ’s ᴛʜᴇ ᴋɪɴᴅ ᴏғ ᴛʜɪɴɢ I’ʟʟ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ᴜɴᴅᴇʀsᴛᴀɴᴅ” I’d often go into the chorus from Heart Attack lol :).

But seriously, Like, I get your range is limited, and it’s all about holding in that tension and not letting it go until the line drops (you know the one), but would it kill mainstream music to not hover around the same three notes every time? I’ve noticed it was a problem since Halsey’s “Without Me”, where I really felt that, (editor me from now stepping in to say that I didn't think of this, I just held it in my brain from another youtube video that I had watched years ago but then thought I should "agree" with it without really knowing about what I really thought (based on actually listening to the music) myself lol but then again I did notice it a bit more after I had it pointed out to me, mostly in Halsey - Without Me and Katy Perry - Never Really Over but that last one kinda I had the thought myself a bit at first but then I watched another youtube video and they really pointed to it there as the "death of pop music" but maybe not necessarily with the repeating/range I think idk it was a long time ago and I also liked Paramore - Hard Times a lot at this time but anyways) but maybe it’s just a stylistic choice that I got frustrated by lol, and in general all music isn’t like that. idk about this to say any more.

Oh wait one more thing. I want to address stan culture, the thing that I wanted to make this video about the most. You see, if you’ve noticed, on the comment section of this song, in most places that I looked, it was hard to find a single comment that was even sightly negative. Now, this could just mean that it’s a good song, but given the complaints I just had that I talked about earlier, it was hard for me to believe that was the case. In fact, that was what kind of started this whole thing, lol. But then, as I looked a bit further on the reviews for the iTunes store, I saw that there were a few people that had the same complaints as I did. There were very few “nope”/“bad song”’s. You don’t like the song? Maybe you’re just not a fan of the genre as a whole, and that’s ok. It’s always (I think) ok to have an opinion. It’s too “copy and paste”? Not original, but still good? Yeah ok, but still, they didn’t comment on whether it was bad or good, and the others admitted it was still good. idk if it’s good to copy and paste or not, but it might e subconscious, and imo who cares (besides the record labels) (as long as you give credit) because it can end up with some really fun music out of it! :) The other comments said it was rushed and it sounded like an amateur. This is something that I kind of talked about in the section before, and if it’s true then I really hope she gets better! :) And a few people were like “meh”, essentially, and still though admitted it was good in some way. So, I guess most of the internet agrees it’s good, just some of us hoping for better. 

Now, the really interesting part happened when I looked at another video by a different artist, for just another reason, not really related to this, just kind of happened to see it by chance. It was Taylor Swift’s Anti Hero lyric video, and in the comments, most of them were positive too. But, they were positive in a different way. Both positive, don’t worry :)

Taylor: I love the lyricism, even if you don’t like her you gotta admit it’s good, I relate heavily to this, and just generally pointing out a certain lyric that they like, with some fans just being a fan of the artist. But most people I think were there just () for the song.

Olivia: Kind of the same vibes, but more people liking “omg olivia you’re awesome I can’t believe you did this so proud of you!” which is great but also can lean towards stan behavior (:/), and also “I just love how she sings with emotion”. :) and occasionally “that one line hits really hard.” (hey, I said that too! glad we agree :)) (editor me here to say that I took those comments to heart and formed my own opinion after hearing theirs) But there were also people who were like “I really resonate with this song” “thank you for helping me get through a tough time” and feeling cathartic, which is really nice to see :’)

So, future fans, I advise you to be civil, and maybe not just blindly support your favorite artist because you like them as a person or like their past work. This is just a reminder, just because you like an artist, or even just one song by an artist, doesn’t mean you have to like every sing one of their songs, or go to great lengths to defend them of any wrong lol. You should personally not be responsible for the financial success of your favorite artist. Just tell your friends, but if they’re not into it, leave it alone, chill. If you like it, then you buy the song. If you like it, you listen to the song. that’s really it.

First time in over a week I’ve had a chance to catch up on the latest breaking news of this fandom. After a quick glance at the posts I follow I always come here to unpack all the goodies. Guilty pleasure indeed! I wanted to thank you bc for all the fun I’ve had with the SH AM top 100ish musical countdown. So many great songs I haven’t heard in ages, ones I loved to dance or sing to, some I had never heard of and a couple I had to look up! I also wanted to thank you for posting the numbers which last week were not quite what I was expecting. Oh and once I stopped posting as anon I am now one of the torch bearing witches set out to crucify Ginger Jesus on an agave cross. Doesn’t matter that I’m a SH fan. Still a witch. Now I may disagree with some things S posts, does or writes but there are lines I would never cross. Let’s start with Church. Just because a funeral is shown online, or photos have already been posted on the internet or a mass is on YouTube it is not for the entertainment of the SC or CT factions. This was a funeral for family, friends and those wanting pay respects to Caitriona Balfes father. Church is sanctuary and the privacy of the family should have been respected. I mean is there some kind of reward or medal for the fandom who proves the marital status of an actress as she mourns her father? Again I don’t care if it was on the internet or stills of attendees were already on other blogs. Once you start messing with the exposure, zooming in or out, draw circles around peoples heads complete with red directional arrows and dotted lines showing seating arrangements and movement like some kind of football play you have crossed a line. Sam and Cait are actors. They signed up for the good bad and the ugly that comes with the territory. Their families and significant others did not. On a lighter note I think some of Sam’s best work of the entire summer was his stunning portrayal of a cowboy and his moving cucumber. Now if you want to come after me for this. Welcome. And I hope you have a fine day for it. What do you think bc?

What I think...is that I think I've seen a lot lately that crosses a line of respect, a line of being a decent thinking and behaving person. I think many people are having issues with seeing the greater perspective on things, and are so eager to make their individual ego count. Not only in this fandom. I didn't post a word about the funeral, it's not something for this blog here. It's something for the family and close friends that want to pay respect and say farewell. If you can't respect that line and cross it all because you think your goal is more important... well I have no words for that. I better not think about it, since it just makes me feel pessimistic about human nature.

Anyway, it's better to listen to some good music, enjoy a playlist like you did. Don't let these people who cross those lines, and post blocking lists just because someone follows or reads another account get under your skin. If you come to think of it, it isn't worth the time of day.

Currently reading: I've gotten so bad at reading. The books that I've technically started with is a series I think is called Tvåhjärtattriologin? The first book is called Tvåhjärtat and (similar to the tv series) I'm only like 2 chapters in and I haven't touched it for a month 💀 But there is hope, the last series I read I got stuck in a similar way but as soon as I got going again I finished all three books in like a week. So I just have to get going probably.

Current obsession: Can I say my niece? It's so weird, I used to have so many things, but right now it feels like time is speeding past so quickly that all I can do is hold on for dear life. Work takes up around 13 hours a day (😭) and when I get home I'm too exhausted to do anything but watch random youtube videos about who know what. And on my weekends I hang out with friends and family, especially my sister/niece (she turns one and a half years in like 2 days!). I did manage to repot some plants today, and start clearing out this small aquarium for keeping water plants in (and maybe shrimp depending on how well the plants manage). I also found out that my quail love pears (I put a whole pear in and it's slowly being disintegrated).

I guess I did have some things haha, but nothing that I am experiencing like the fandoms of yore.

This is a kind of silly one BUT like havd this cringe weird au where like cartman has another kid in post covid (I called her jane cuz she reminds me of rtc jane doe for her personality) and for some reason I see her sm with kyle's daughter (aubrey) kinda like menorah and eli and it would be so funny like cartman realizing that both of his kids are dating/have a crush on his rival's/enemie's kids but aside from that I see jane totally like freaking aubrey out and aubrey being kinda scared of her at first because she literally appeared out of nowhere all the time spooking everyone even if she doesn't mean to I feel she got curious about aubrey because observing a bit she realized they didn't seemed as bad as her dad told her,so she tries like get closer to her but accidentally spooks her a lot at first

personally i see aubrey as being cautious towards jane bc her and moisha do not get along at all, and in gen the rivalry is a family wide thing, so while she's polite to the other members of the cartman family that don't bother her (totally on her own volition bc she's such a mature child and not bc her dad has severely reprimanded her for severely injuring moisha in multiple fights, no sir!) they're all on thin ice really.

so she's probably really jittery around her most of the time, but kind of has a revelation that. out of all the weird encounters she's had with jane. jane hasn't really. done anything. and decides to try talking to her and they become good friends and she adopts them into her friend group bc she's very extroverted in a female himbo kinda way. heres some of mine: tyler was an ipad kid, logan has the biggest crush imaginable on tyler and likes flower sculptures, ben and aiden know basic sign language, taylor is an astrology geek and loves freaking out logan, and ashlyn has the worst joint and back issues ever which might as well be canon because she does ballet and as a former ballet dancer, THAT MESSES YOU UP

YESSS THOUGH (okay Tyler being an iPad kid is kind of funny in concept, but also if i think about it too much it makes me sad bc I feel like he had to learn a lot of skills at a really young age and ended up on youtube/wikihow a lot). I’m esp big on the Ben & Aiden knowing basic ASL--like yeah, Ben can just write or use his phone, but knowing even basic fingerspelling is so helpful when you’re nonverbal/can’t talk. That's always one of my favorites dfgdfg and same for the HC Ashlyn having a lot of joint pain--I've never done any form of dance but I've seen/heard the horrors, her having the worst back/joint pain sounds about right

(There are some vague spoilers ahead? But honestly, I’m p sure what I mentioned that would be a spoiler has been implied by a few episodes before the finale so)

Tyler can cook; so can Taylor, but he's a little bit more picky about how food prep goes and can get overwhelmed if anyone is in the kitchen with him and he doesn’t know what they’re doing/if they’re in his way/if they’re trying to talk to him a lot.

He will let Taylor help sometimes, though, especially if they’re both extra worried about their mom for some reason or something else is up.

He’s extremely meticulous about washing his hands/tools/cutting boards between ingredients. Even if everything he’s chopping goes into the same pot or pan, he’s going to wash that knife every time he switches to a new ingredient.

A lot of people don’t really think of it with how ~picky~ and meticulous he is with how he cooks, but he actually does enjoy it a lot. It’s grounding for him, helps him calm down (so long as nobody else is in the kitchen), and gives him a chance to think things through.

He's actually a lot better at cooking than Taylor. Nobody really expects it out of him.

He, Taylor, and their parents used to actually cook as a family. After their dad died, though, he took on the majority of cooking.

He and Taylor are vegetarians. This is oddly specific and holds no weight other than “they wore matching shirts with the name a now-closed vegan restaurant that existed in New York printed on them Once” but it kind of stuck w me after I pointed it out to my husband. I’m p sure he had a School Burger (definitely not vegetarian friendly) on his tray in one of the early episodes, but like [I Do Not See It.png]. Not sure if I have the headcanon that Mariana is also a vegan or a vegetarian, I kinda go back and forth with it a lot.

While his dad only taught him a few songs on the guitar, he would actually be really good at it, if he gave himself the time to sit down and work with it. I think he probably loved it a lot as a kid, but after losing his dad, it just kind of... Hurt to try to pick it up consistently again. If he's ever home alone or near one and alone, though, he'll absolutely pick it up and just slowly/carefully strum out a few notes or songs.

I'm p sure that it's implied to be canon based on One conversation he and Taylor had, but I'm completely saying that he prioritizes sports (especially baseball) because he's hoping he can secure a scholarship through it+essentially get a free ride to college and make shit easier on his mom. And also, y'know, make her proud.

He gets overwhelmed really easily in-general, and that contributes to a lot of his angry outbursts. Pressure stim (weighted blankets, weighted items in-general) are a godsend for him. He hides it pretty well, but after a certain point, he’ll start to get snappy--and it really just seems like it happens for no reason (but, y’know, he’s actually overwhelmed/under a lot of stress).

He also really just. Loves to hold hands with people that he's close to. He says it's so that they feel safer/more comfortable, but honestly, it's a mutual feeling. He feels safer with the people he loves/the people he cares about within arms reach.

He tends to sit really close to. Anyone that he considers a friend or family. Like, shoulder-to-shoulder with them. If they move away, he notices--and will try to remember that for the next time he sits next to them.

Taylor will also do this; it's something she kind of subconsciously picked up from her brother. She notices just as much as he does if someone moves away, but instead of just silently keeping a little bit of a distance, she'll actually ask if she can sit closer to them.

Ben loves this a lot, actually. Taylor is so physically warm (and also just generally sweet/understanding), and he loves having conversations with her, so he loves having her nearby. It’s convenient when she can see his phone easily/see what he’s typing.

Ben prefers traditional art, but he isn’t opposed to digital; he’s not used to using a drawing tablet yet, but he really likes the various tools and other features that come with it. Since his art is for him/a lot of it is art therapy, he doesn’t really post it or share it with anyone unless one of his friends asks.

Logan actually loves having his nails painted. At first, he was kind of worried (because of bullying, his grandparents, just generally afraid he couldn’t pull it off, worried about ruining his nails while working in the greenhouse, etc.), but after he heard Aiden and Taylor talk about it, he was like... Huh. Maybe I could try it. He doesn’t really like experimenting with colors or designs--he likes a lot of neutral tones (specifically dark browns), but Taylor did convince him to try a really warm orange shade once and he loved it.

When he gets extremely embarrassed, Logan will hide his face in his hands. Unfortunately, in these moments, he usually forgets he has glasses on, so those get dirty or he accidentally jabs the nose piece against his eye.

Aiden doesn’t paint his own nails often, but when he does, he goes for the brightest, most eye-straining colors. Like, the brightest neons ever.

Aiden sneaks out often, much to Ben’s panic. He tries to sneak out without Ben noticing/after Ben falls asleep, but. This happens more as the weather gets cooler/colder. It stopped happening as much after the Savannah trip, but he still slips out every now and then (and has, at least once, narrowly made it back in through his window before midnight)

Ashlyn keeps their group chat labeled “them.” Not out of any negative feelings towards anyone in it, she just can’t be bothered to change it or think of any new name for it. It’s kind of growing on her though, it’s almost endearing now.

I’ll throw One in about the parents but this has gotten a lot longer than I initially expected dfgdfg Emma is so nervous around Logan’s grandparents. She already kind of struggles socially--she isn’t the same level as Ashlyn, she’s more indifferent and “eh, if I talk to someone, I talk to someone”--but man Logan’s grandma unnerves the absolute hell out of her. She just seems so intense to her.

I’ve been waiting for 2x04 bc it’s one of my faves so i should say this ep was watched after his check up where he told a nurse about it and the nurse told him he actually watched it when it aired. To which my brother went ‘well watch it again bc I have to talk to someone about it man, she *points to me* is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorcycle.’ Anyway: ‘oh it’s pride weekend?
