Traditional Evil Eye Amulets (SOLD OUT)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Evil Eye is an affliction recognized and dreaded across cultures, with innumerable traditional practices utilized to avert its affect. One especially popular method for protecting against the Evil Eye is the employment of magical devices designed to turn away its influence, and what I offer here is one such traditional amulet.
Each amulet is crafted from hand-foraged shed horn antlers, which I cut and sanded to shape, before lightly sealing them with a ritually empowered wood varnish made from a number of arboreal resins, such as Dragon's Blood, Storax, and Amber. Using this same empowered varnish, I then meticulously capped the tips of each piece with a gilding leaf made from .999 Pure Silver. When they were all fully dried and burnished, I sealed each piece with one final coat of preservative lacquer and set each one with a Sterling Silver pendant bail. With physical construction complete, each amulet was hallowed in a Warding Ritual, which activated and aligned the defensive virtues present therein.
Each piece can be purchased on my webshop, Wending Wares, as a standalone pendant, or can be outfitted with a Sterling Silver box chain measuring approximately 18 inches / 46 centimeters in length for an extra fee using the drop-down menu. Feel free to reach out through tumblr as well, if you can't use my website for some reason.
If your piece breaks suddenly, it traditionally indicates that it has absorbed an especially potent attack directed at its bearer. It should, thereafter, be buried at a Crossroads. If this does happen, and you find that you would like a replacement piece, simply reach out with a picture of the broken amulet, and I will gladly offer a new one at a discount.

🌿Spellwork: Herb Amulets
Herb amulets are one of the easiest spellworks a witch can make. A herb amulet can be about anything and be filled with any herb of your choosing.
Note that the more an amulet is specific, the stronger it is. Think of it like multitasking and focused task. you may be great at keeping track of seven things, but when you only focus on one thing you exceptionally well. (ever tried doing school work while watching a TV show? Haha!)
Basically, herbs have corresponding meanings. Choose your herbs, as many or little as possible.
Put herbs into a morter and crush them till the aroma is released.
Place your crushed herbs onto a cloth (colour of your choosing).
Gather the cloth up and tie it together, you may use knot magic here.
Hang where you please or wear it.
Here's mine (and my mother's) and what I intend for it to do (and what she intends hers to do.
Tumblr media
Mine is in the red cloth: I intend for it to give me good travels in my car as I wanted to hang it up in my car, as well as making sure that no matter where i go, i have a bit of a good breath with me.
Cinnamon: Adventure in life and travels.
Clovers: Gives dignity, avoids bullying.
Anise: Gives protection on travels.
Cardamom: Gives good breath and kisses.
My mother's in the blue cloth: She doesn't delve into witchcraft like I do, but she wanted to make an all around good feeling herb amulet for me.
Lavender: Kindness and love.
Cinnamon: Adventure in life and travels.
Coriander: Makes you rich.
Common Sage: Cleanses the room and brings good spirits.
Roses: Gives you kisses, hugs, and love.
Cardamom: Gives good breath and kisses.
Calendula: Sunshine and happiness.
Have fun!

One day I truly wanna just get sooo deep into the different cultures that kind of exist in Ninjago but in the weird Ninjago fashion of taking bits and pieces and horribly misrepresenting them.

Protect Yourself from the Evil Eye: Unveiling the Mysteries
Tumblr media
The "Evil Eye," or "Malocchio", is more than just a superstition; it's a belief that envious glares can bring about misfortune. The power of this gaze lies in the eyes of those who cast it upon you. Let's delve into the effects and defenses against this age-old belief.
-The Impact of the Evil Eye: Envious glances can take a toll on both your energy and physical health. You might experience problems like insomnia, disrupted chakra energy, stomach and digestive issues, or even persistent headaches. The effects can be subtle but profound, influencing your overall well-being.
-DIY Protection from the Evil Eye: Defending yourself against the malocchio doesn't require elaborate rituals. Simple remedies can work wonders. Consider wearing jewelry or accessories that divert attention away from your eyes, making it harder for the envious energy to reach you. It's like creating a shield that wards off negative vibes.
-Recognizing the Evil Eye's Presence: Sometimes, it's challenging to tell if you're under the influence of the Evil Eye. Watch out for rapid mood swings, unexplained fatigue, or recurring insomnia. These signs might indicate the malevolent gaze of another. It's essential to recognize these symptoms to take action promptly.
-Seeking Expert Advice: The Evil Eye, especially when directed by individuals with strong energy, can genuinely hinder your quality of life. To determine if you're affected, consider getting an "energy check" from an experienced healer. Their insights can provide you with clarity and help you regain balance.
Remember, the power of the Evil Eye lies in the belief, and while skepticism may offer some protection, it's always best to consult with experts for a more in-depth understanding. Protect your energy and embrace a happier, healthier life.

Traditional Protection Amulet
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
On a total whim, I was moved to make a traditional Celtic protection amulet using a Hagstone and a vintage Skeleton Key. I waxed and braided three lengths of twine that I had dyed myself using Madder Root and Dragon's Blood, working a protective prayer into the braid, which was then sealed with a charmed knot.
I'm selling this piece for only $18, so reach out soon if you'd like to purchase it! This piece is sold, but if multiple people show interest in this amulet, I will make and sell more like it. In the meantime, feel free to reach out and request one, and I will craft it on your behalf for the same price.

Shugo Chara is SO GOOD at doing slice of life. The kids hang out by going to the beach, they go shopping or go to a concert, they organise parties and events, Amu spends a day out with her family at the park, she helps her mum at the market, or she goes shopping by herself (though still accompanied by her chara’s), and it feels SO GOOD to watch them do stuff like this because it reminds you of when you were a kid, OR, when you were reading/watching it as a kid, it somewhat reflected your life and made you feel really connected with all the characters and think “hey, I’ve done this”.
Even if you didn’t do most of the things they did, it felt like you could, like you were really hanging out with kids your age and going out and being all mature. They do all of this while magical beings are hanging out with them too, but they are also individual characters with personalities that at the same time, are personally connected to you.
This is why I’ve always wanted an episode where Amu just does mundane things like going to the hairdresser. Or heck even a chapter or episode where she celebrates her birthday with all her friends.
Shugo Chara has always made the mundane seem special and fun, which is why I used to think about it A LOT when I was a child and going out with family or friends. “Amu would do this, she would speak like these to her chara’s, etc.”
I still think about it sometimes like that. It’s basically why it’s my favourite story of all time; because it feels so down to earth.
