He always knew that she wasn’t coming.

He has known it every time he’s extended an olive branch just to watch it wilt and rot, and he knows that his friends and family think that he’s in denial about it. He knows that they have worriedly whispered conversations about him, but they don’t get it.

Yeah, it would be less heartbreaking to just give up but it wouldn’t be easier.

The Buckley’s are amazing parents that still send care packages to their daughter and call her every day for a month leading up to her birthday. Wayne took in his nephew when he didn’t have to and stood in defense of him against an entire town. Joyce – Jesus, Joyce Byers went to hell and back for her son. Hopper, Claudia, Sue, Karen… they’re all amazing parents, and you know what?

His mom was amazing once too.

And he knows. He knows. He knows. He knows how untrue that statement really is. He’s been in therapy long enough to know that he had a bad childhood and his parents were neglectful, but he cannot rectify that with the little boy inside him that loves his mom to pieces.

In the same way that he will always be sixteen years old and scared of the dead girl in his pool, he will always be small, waiting by the door for a mother that always eventually came home. Though, he knows.

He knows that seasons change and old injuries never heal quite right, and it never really mattered if his mother came home because she was always leaving but… But she was never outright cruel.

His father was a mean man that demanded perfection and belittled anything less than that. He was a unhappy man that fostered an atmosphere so hostile that his only son barely dared to breathe in his presence, and his mom. Well, it wasn’t her fault that she didn’t know how to be a mother.

But she was there. Sometimes as the silent observer, sometimes disinterested, but always the one to say, “Enough.”

“Enough,” she said after Barb’s disappearance, after the phone call from the police, after the lecture that turned physical. She stood between them with her hand pressed against her father’s chest and said, “That’s enough. Steven, go to your room.”

“Enough,” she said after the final rejection letter, after the job at his dad’s company was rescinded, after he was told to get a job or get out. “Enough, James. What is all this yelling going to do? It will not get him into college.”

“Enough,” she said after Steve stood his ground and took back nothing when he told them that Eddie was not just a friend, that he loved him and for the first time ever, it felt like someone loved him back. After the fighting, and the yelling, and being kicked out, she finally uttered, “Enough.”

About insurance.

His father stripped him line by line of everything he has always known, but insurance was where his mother drew the line. They all new that he would never be able to afford his medication without it and, “God forbid, he have a seizure and get another kid killed, Jay.”

The last conversation Steve had with his mother was at his father’s funeral. He said she looked well given the circumstances and she said that he should really do something about all that gray hair.

So, no. He’s not expecting her to show up. He never really is, but he wants it. He wants it so bad and it all kinda comes crashing down around him one evening after Eddie casually mentions that Wayne called earlier, “He said you’re getting better at speaking on camera.”

“What?”

Eddie explains that Wayne caught Steve’s interview about his YouTube math tutorials going viral. Steve asks how a man living in Florida manages to watch a local news broadcast from Illinois, and Eddie says that he looked it up online. Steve asks, “Why would he do that?”

“Because he’s proud of you,” Eddie says simply.

Something just cracks and the next thing either of them knows, Steve is crying. It’s kinda funny how wide Eddie’s eyes go, but Steve can’t even laugh about it because he feels like he’s going to drown inside himself.

It takes time and a lot of coaxing for Steve to get to a point where he tell Eddie that he’s sad. He just doesn’t understand what he’s supposed to do to make her want to see him. He doesn’t know what he did that was so wrong that she can’t forgive him and why – “Why can’t she just love me?”

Eddie tells him firmly, “Stevie, baby. I want you to listen very carefully to me, okay? I’ve never been more serious about anything in my life, okay?”

Steve nods.

“You did nothing wrong,” He says, and Steve just – he can’t believe it. He can’t believe that because then there’s nothing he can do to fix it and he – “Tell me this, Steve. Tell me what Erica Sinclair – Lady Applejack herself. Tell me what she has to do to make you consider cutting contact with her? What’s the least she’d have to do? Think about it an give me an answer, sweetheart.”

Steve things about it and eventually settles on, “Open the Upside Down on purpose.”

“Have you even opened a portal to a hell dimension on purpose then, babe?”

“Ed-“

“No, I want an answer,” Eddie says. “Have you ever purposely ripped a hole in the space-time continuum to an alternate reality?”

“No.”

“You ever do something worse than that?”

“I- no? Eddie-“

“Then it sounds like the problem is with your mom and not you,” He answers. “It sounds like she needs to get over her own fucking issues, and I know. I know that fucking sucks, Steve, but you cannot spend the rest of your life blaming yourself for her unwillingness to grow as a person.”

Eddie wipes the tears from his face and kiss the tip of his nose, and Steve admits, “I’m still sad.”

“I know, baby,” Eddie tells him. “That’s okay.”

Steve doesn’t know how much time lingers between them in silence, just that he’s tired the way he always is after he cries a lot. He’s about to tell him that he’s going to go to bed when Eddie states, “Joyce still lives in Hawkins, right? I’m gonna call her and see if she’ll beat your mom up.”

You know, I'm sorry for another story time but my life has been very stressed lately and today I got a huge boost. SO.

As some of you may know, I moved states at the end of July and have been here since August 1st basically. Social anxiety is a struggle but I'm making it. And there's this easy to reach by walking convenience store and almost every time I walk there I walk past a gem store. And I think to myself almost every single time "I love the store has a bouncer". I didn't say anything to him at first! But one day I got brave and proceeded to make an absolute FOOL of myself as I am on my way back from buying some sodas and ask him "are you like the store bouncer?"

The man looks at me and smiles and gives a little chuckle and says pretty much yeah? And then I say more awkward things and then promptly leave feeling very embarrassed. I purposefully AVOID that lil corner for a couple days and then finally feel brave enough to walk by cause it's ... like. Literally right by my destination. Man isn't even outside that day and I think phew! I can't be creepy if I can't talk to him!

BUT THEN I SEE THAT HE IS DIRECTLY INSIDE CHATTING TO A WORKER. And he sees me. And smiles and stops whatever conversation he's having and exits the store to say hi. (I am definitely beaming, like a normal person, because I apparently am NOT creepy enough to this man more than a foot taller than me who could easily kick my ass if he wanted) So we just chat. For maybe ten minutes? It's very nice! We have a Very Normal Conversation! I feel better about the first interaction because I had a second interaction.

So now............ today. I am once again wandering around and on my way to lunch when I pass the gem store and I'm like "hello again!" to the gem store bouncer. We begin to chat again and he mentions a pendant they recently appraised that he likes and I, thinking this entire time that the store was ONLY appointment only and I would never be allowed inside, am casually mentioning "yeah, I was born in June and we have three birthstones and like.... none of them are dark enough for me. I mean there's pearl which I'm not a fan of and then moonstone and another." And so he's saying they have a sheet inside to show birthstones so we walk in together to find out the mysterious third stone.

And the sheet only shows pearls. And I'm like "this is a crime against June babies" and then I somehow start talking to one of the female workers and I'm saying "yeah I just kinda like walking by here and seeing the bouncer" and she looks at him and is like "oh I like that." and I admit I have no other idea what to refer to him as (I don't know his name at this point anyway) and she's like "most often security guard."

Ah. Yes. Like a normal person would think. Security. Yes. Not "gem store bouncer". She then leaves to grab a coffee from across the street and I leave with the bouncer and somehow we get into talking about wearing mostly black and how he's pretty goth and then I mentioned a sweatshirt my aunt sent me once saying "I'm only wearing black until they come out with something darker" and he grins and says it's a life motto. Then the woman returns with her coffee and he tells me to tell her what I said, so I repeat it and she looks me dead in the eye and says "that was made for me. Also I love that you called him a bouncer it's hilarious".

I now observe that he (all black suit black shirt black tie) and her (black sweater with black/white striped pants n black shoes) are indeed somehow the gem store goth club. And then she heads back in and he says he's sorry they don't have any cookies to offer me, they normally have cookies in the back for employees, and I'm like "ah no it's fine thank you".

And then I left feeling like I was somehow allowed to join the Cool Goth Club at the gem store.

Anyway, sup, my new favorite person is the goth bouncer at the gem store and he makes me smile so much when I see him.

one being that i really hate how raurus response to concerned zelda is, after sonia died in that almost funny how little impactful it was way, "im sure you are here for a reason" (actually, i hate how often this sentence is used in general to .. idk i guess its supposed to be inspiritational???)

bc what does that mean actually? him saying that to someone who got there absolutely by accident really just sounds like "i dont care go figure it out yourself bc i dont want to think about anything concerning you or your troubles lol" i guess its meant to sound like OOOOH fate has BROUGHT you here bc you have to furfill a role you dont know yet (spoiler its being a sacrifice girl with no personality) and besides me hating the 'inescapable fate' trope in general (at least the way its usually done in these games, which is not to struggle against it but willingly accept whatever you are told and pretend thats good) its really jsut goddamn boring and is really only an excuse to well .. ignore her and her trouble; shouldnt you, if you were actually such a cool guy like the game wants me to believe so bad, do everything in your power to get zelda back to her own world before shes pulled even further into the war you caused now that her only ""mentor"" that could help her get more use of her pretty much useless sudden powers is gone too?? i know shes basically dead wife sonia replacement (can of worms ugh) but it still grinds my gears whenever i think of that cutscene, bc i cant help but hear it as the lamest excuse in existence to not care about her and just kinda .. see what happens which in this case means leave zelda completely on her her own since both rauru and mineru die as well (honestly shouldnt rauru have thought about like .. any plan to defeat gan besides dying himself, given hes the oh so cool and goodest guy king whos only mistake was not stabbing gan the second he stepped into their kathedral castle thing, like even if you had a plan it can still fail but it seemed like he just kinda went in with a handful of people that didnt seem to know each other at all, never got names or faces -or unique voices for that matter- to fight gan face to face inlcuding the girl that came from a different time and had nothing to do with any of this conflict and couldnt even really control her sudden new powers just seems pretty stupid)

how totk really feels like botw but for the people who didnt like shiekah tech, its not a sequel, its botw again, but version of only sonau, its like a pokemon game that had two versions but one has weirdly incoherent story and acts like the other never existed jsut as a whole its like retreading the same points but worse, all shiekah tech that was so integral to the world and had such a long history just vanishing and no one caring about any of it like it never happened, HELL the titans were called divine beasts in english but i guess they werent divine or important enough to keep around LOL champions WHO and isntead a never before seen or even heard of race for that matter showing up and planting their ass in every place the shiekah were before, dare i say it feels weirdly manipulative, like either them or some outside force erasing every fact about the ancient shiekah and replace them with sonau stuff bc they are the hot new shit now

this is a point that just doesnt stop bothering me, how the shiekah tech seemed so carefully designed and integrated into botws world and story, its a difficult to keep balance after all, integrating high tech stuff into a medieval setting, but they made it work! and then totk comes around and throws a bunch modern day tech into it puts some vague greenish stone filter on its exterior and call that even better more ancient tech; why did they even bother to make pottery inspired laser shooting spider legged robots so well integrated when they throw a car and rockets into the next game without a thought and call it a day, what was the fucking point

it feels like someone was dead set on having a set of legos thrown into the game it had no place in, if you want players to build whatever they want make a building game instead!! especially if you are just gonna throw it in with seemingly no consideration how out of place it feels togehter with the fACT THAT YOU ALREADY HAD AND ANCIENT HIGH TECH CIVILIZATION WITH A VERY DISTINCT AESTHETIC THAT WAS ALREADY WELL INTEGRATED INTO THE WORLD YOU ARE PLANNING TO REUSE WITH ALOT OF MYSTERY AND UNKOWN STUFF ABOUT THEM TO EXPLORE FURTHER YOU COULD HAVE USED!! but i guess they just "didnt want to play with you anymore" and that so much so that they went out of their way to erase every trace of it, i dont think the words shiekah tech are ever used in the game, and the purah pad and her towers just drive me more isnane bc they are the same shit but called different and also much worse, liek the purah pad isnt some more developed shiekah stone, no its a glorified camera with a teleport function and thats it

(i know i said this before but i really cant stand how obsessed every single NPC is with sonau shit, you get told to your face every second line of dialog that they are so cool and are so mysterious that it just makes me annoyed of them even more, the game is obsessed with shoving them everywhere and telling you over and over you too should obsess over them, they werent weird like that about the shiekah stuff in botw?? the biggesst talking point in botw was calamity ganon ..... which makes sense and in totk its like ... gan is mentioned what, in a newspaper article??? once???and then not even by name i think???)

aside from that big point which will never let me go, its also just .. its not moving forward anything, it actively walks BACK the progress that was made in botw, call me dumb but i dont really count moving one step up in the social roles of each race as a character development (for the side characters like the champions desc- ahem SAGES) but mainly zelda ... god how dirty she was done, totk pretty explicitely makes her regress any development she made in botw aside from she likes link uwu and some people like her too, but also not enough to notice that that weird zelda being all evil and weird isnt her (INLCUDING THE CHAMP- SAGES WHO YOU ARE SUPPOSEDLY FRIENDS WITH??? you dont have to be a genius to pick up on that my god, were you all given the mc dumbo potion or what)

she gets put back to square one, back into the little itty bitty princessy maiden role forced upon her by her royal parentage, this time rauru edition, back into a white little dress, back into the scared puppy eyed teenager, back into a situation she cant handle, back into losing everyone around her (tho honestly botw made me care more about rhoam than totk did about rauru), back into being forced to do a big sacrifice- but worse actually

in botw she went to FIGHT AND HOLD GANON IN THE CASTLE SO LINK HAD TIME TO RECOVER AND IT WOULDNT DESTROY THE LAND!! and you are telling me in totk rauru takes up her botw role and she bascially killed herself to ... restore the mastersword.

......... she ... she did that only to be a glorified version of the stone pedestal in the forest. and then she gets returned to normal itty bitty girly no problem via magic sparkle beam at the end and

it really is just botw but worse, you even get yet another ghost king of hyrule to guide you around (rhoam did it better fight me ... we dont talk about the questionable choice to make himself darker skinned when posing as just some guy)

i honestly dont think i was ever truly taken aback by anythign that happened in botw, while in totk, the further i played, the more i had to fight with myself to keep the feeling of unease, disappointment and betrayal down

its such a god damn shame, totk should have stayed a DLC, i will forever mournfully dream of a game that explores more of the ancient shiekah, doesnt erase integral parts of the world, developes characters more instead of making them regress back and make them end up even less developed than at the start of the game, dives into buried secrets and mistakes of dark pages of history without giving into a weirldy nationalist(imperalisitc?) narrative and lets characters have some agency for once

if it werent for the yiga i might have actually considered refunding the game, just to be at peace with myself

I say younger because you probably got kicked out the orphanage with him. Since they thought they might as well kill two birds with one stone.

When he ends up joining the Agency, then Koyo comes along spoils you both with his allowance even if you stay no. He wants you to have a better childhood than he had. As is willing to stand by that.

When he turned into a tiger around dazai, the tiger probably didn't even bat an eye in your direction. If I did it, just sniff you or tired to attack dazai more if he had your smaller form in your arms. Thinking you were being put in danger.

When the Agency frame up happened, he was losing it. Where did you go? Are you ok? When he did see you again, he probably almost crushed you tackling you like he did to Kunikida.

Respectfully, sleep in the closet. I don't know why just does it because he feels you should be treated right compared to him.

Small outings when he is not too busy with work.

I would see him keeping his sibbing around the agency not to babysit you but to keep you safe and younger. You can't work their as of yet. Way too young. Around the age of 10 or 9.

Comfort isn't one of his strong holds but would be there eig you wanted him there. He full on supports and loves you, and his shoulder would be there to cry on if you need it. All you have to do is just come to him, and he wouldn't turn you down.

Mix. I can see him having a younger sibbing but at the same time Older and had moved on with their life.

A lot of things happen is his life already, making him busy. He might make phone calls on the weekends to you. You probably live around his family since he doesn't have much time from the agency to really fit a sibbing into his schedule. Like he does mean to come off like that, just a busy man.

Dead ass no one knew he had a sibbing till dazai read about it in his ideals.

The call very rarely comes home. Mabye Sometimes, on holidays, it would take off, but very rarely.

If you're older than him, then yes.

I would say he is very quiet about it. Like when he hugs Aya(?). He just hugged you close and gently patted your hair as you cried on him.

I strongly believe that when Naomi acts the way she does. Side eyes. Made Atsushi every confused on the whole family. Making Jun'ichirō worried as hell. Naomi takes you shopping a lot or to have a girl time with her. So yea, it just a chill with them.

During the frame up. You're with Naomi, so you're safe and ok.

Yes, you work with them, but like the role of Naomi, just a small time intern, but if you have an ability, you work with Jun'ichirō.

I would say it's deepening who is there. If the two of them are their they group hug, one is there, and there would hug you still till you feel better.

I would say no only for the fact that someone has to help take care of the crops and animals back home.

I can see it going two says. Crying with you or hugging you and telling you it's ok as he sings you a melody to help calm you down more.

Hard since her family died, I see older and you were out at college or something, so you weren't home at the time to know what happened.

You send messages a lot to her, and since you can't drop out of college to go see her, it makes it hard. Try to make Vists during your break to see her.

You meet Atsushi, and well happy to know she is in good hands.

Probably not to work with her since you're in college to go live your life and dream job.

Pats your back as she sits next to you in silence. Since you don't see her a lot, she can't comfort you as you do to her.

I see a younger sibbing only for the resson you probably would if been more easy hidden or unexpected since dark. Ark dazai would have kept you home. Present dazai would try to make amends for what he did and try to be the best big brother he can. After all it, the world vs. you two, it seems at times.

You live with him since he doesn't like anyone else around so he can actually relax.

Probably work with him, Kunikida pairs you two up since he can't stand dazai shit sometimes.

During the frame up, he was kinda losing his shit. He was happy when ango said you were with him. If anyone did dare hurt you. The whole scene with the ada kicking down doors. Yea, but imagine him just doing that himself.

He is not to best at comforting, but he would pull you close with his own somber look as he rubs your back telling you it's ok. That nothing will hurt you when he is around.

He makes you carry him on his back. Don't worry he do it back with you. Just give him directions and maybe toss in some money to get snacks, and you got yourself a deal. He is the best brother since he doesn't want your guys' parents' desth being a big total on you. He did step up when they died to make sure you stayed safe.

I would say in comfort he would tell you it is not much to be crying over. But if you're really bad, he pulls you close and gets you to calm down first. Then, offer snacks the only time. (He actually shares a lot with you just in more private times)

He was worried the whole time paranoid and everything. Slight panic when he didn't see you. It was scary to see your brother practical not eat sweets or chips since he was so busy trying to keep the ada from not dieing.

Didn't share a piece of chocolate cake with you one time. But yeah, you guys get a father.

A/N: welcome to another episode of "even i don't know what I have written but I still managed to change my plot".. Summary: The title 난 너를 좋아해 means 'I Like You' and the plot surrounding this story is as simple as a boiling of water and differentiating between what is water and milk. The only problem which came into force was that you started developing feelings for the one who was considered to be mysterious, cold and strict , keeps a great line of thickness between personal and office life.

Okay, not only were you totally speechless and shocked but also not knowing what to say at the moment, you just bowed before running out of his room.

Throughout the day, his small smile, his soft voice were roaming in your head but you were kinda pondering over the thought of what made him this soft.

“But that's not what I heard? Anyways, did you see Mr Lee today? Damn, not just that he has a great fashion sense or he is a great boss but looks different today. There is something about him.”

“What about him?” You asked with a feign look. “Try to notice his behaviour Y/N. He seems a bit different but in a nice way. It makes me so happy that my brother is doing so well and seems so content.”

Yes, that's right. Lee Know is a relative of Ryunjin. They are cousins but no one knows about this except for a very handful of people including you.

“I didn’t notice that but the way you said so makes me feel that you finally feel content that he is hap- “Yes, Y/N!! It's been so long since I have noticed this in him. I thought he almost lost the ability to smile and show affection.”

Before, you can further say, a knock came in on your cabin’s door. “Come on in!” Ryunjin said and the devil came in. “Ryu dear, I– Y/N?” Minho kinda looked surprised as if he didn’t expect you to be here. “I am sorry. I will take my lea-

“Nah, its okay. You are part of the family. Anyways, she is coming!” Ryunjin looked confused before mirroring her brother’s reaction. “OMG!!! When is she coming?”

“This sunday a-.. I gotta go. Talk to you later.” He said before rushing down.

You were dying inside to ask about whose arrival did make your boss go crazy but you didn’t wanna invade their privacy. “As much as I am happy for him but now, my mood is spoiled.” Ryunjin huffed. “Umm, why?” you asked.

“Because she uses my brother and takes him for granted. Wu Rosa! She, Minho and I were in the same school for some time before the transfer of my dad. Rosa doesn’t seem what she looks like but at the same time she really has acted as a human and great person and helped Lee when he was in his lowest phase. I mean she did take some slight advantage or advantages at times but never harmed him physically or emotionally. So, even if it sounds stupid, at this point I don’t know what to say anymore. I just hope she doesn’t break his heart?”

Now your eyes are super widened, “He-heart b-break?”

“Minnie has a crush on her. God, I am so done”. She sighed frustratedly and started working while once again you were lost in thoughts, slightly shattering your heart as well in the process. Yeah, you too became a part of the cliche trap of falling for a boss who may or may not like someone else. But you are a strong person, you will manage to get over it right? Only time will tell.

After two weeks…

Its been almost two weeks since Rosa has come and joined the company but only for some time. She is here for a project on which Minho and Ryunjin were working for almost a year, like to help them and win it.

During these weeks, your responsibilities have taken multiplication by 10 but at the same time you have to not only handle the usual rants of your bestie Ryunjin but mood swings of his highness Mr Lee who can be a devil in a second and maybe the sweetest human or a disguised angel.

At one point you almost asked Ryunjin if Minho is suffering from Bi-polar disorder or something making her choke on her cold drink before laughing till tears start forming in her eyes.

Rosa was decent and polite whenever she spoke to you or she had to work with you all but you did at times feel the vibe was off, like it seemed as if she was pretending to be dating Minho and that she liked someone else and maybe you did caught her (but she doesn’t need to know)

when you were about knock on the door, you heard talk to someone saying, “Ofcourse, I love you and not him. Let's just end the conversation now. Someone will be here soon”. You stood for a whole damn minute before knocking on the door.

“Hey, Y/N. Are these the files that you were talking about?” you nodded and she gave you a smile before hugging you. “Thanks a lot sweetheart!!” she said and went inside.

There were times when she was smiling and giggling when she was surrounded by Minho and his family but once they were out of sight her smile kinda faltered.

The D-Day…

Finally, the day arrived. It was really a stressful month or so, each and every employee was overworking, taking shifts without any leave. It was such a sight to see and not be seen as now, both Ryunjin and you were like a babysitter to Minho, taking turns to constantly make him eat or drink something.

Ofcourse, Ryunjin would be the mama bear while you had to maintain a professional relationship but at times, you crossed the line. One day, you literally nagged him to make him eat something while the other day, you almost threatened him. “Mr Lee, if you didn’t eat. I swear to G-

‘What will you do?” he asked unimpressed with a cold glare even though his heart was racing. “I will simply call Mrs Lee.” you said with a smirk while his face went pale for a second before regaining his composure. “Okay, okay! I will eat and Ms Y-

“Mrs Lee, herself is going to come in 5 mins irrespective of my call or not.” with that you left his room.

There were times when Minho secretly took care of you, while always thinking it was Ryunjin because you two shared the same room and were on breaks at or near the same time while for Rosa, she didn’t come as often as she used to, but when she did it was like chaos.

It was almost time to leave when you heard Rosa’s voice in one of the rooms. You were given the duty to check the cabins on the top floor before leaving and that's when you heard her, “I told you for God sake James.. I only love you and you. I will marry you especially after knowing that I am pregnant. Yes, we will be parents soon.”

You couldn’t believe your ears, was she really going to ditch your boss, who loved her dearly from your perspective. You didn’t know what to do. The only thing going in your head at the moment was the debate on whether you should tell this to either Ryunjin or Minho or if you should be quiet since it's again their own personal matter.

Rosa’s words were haunting as if they were mocking you and triggering your own emotions of what it felt when you came to know that you were just a bet to your boyfriend for a sake of few pennies and a stupid gaming set. It really made you insecure from that moment. As you were lost in the train of thought, you didn’t realise that someone was calling you and it was only when you slipped and a pair of hands wrapped around your waist, you came to your senses.

“Y/N, are so stupid or mad that you won’t listen to anyone and look where you were heading to, uh? What if you had fallen down the stairs and injured yourself severely? Who would look after you?” Minho was screaming at you because, first of all yeah you would have been severely injured and second of all, what if he hadn’t been here and you actually might have fallen down who would have saved your life.

“I am so sorry Mr Lee. I w-was j-just caught up with a few things. I-I will take your leave and congratulations! Heartiest congratulations for the successful completion of the project.” you didn’t mean meet his eyes because then he could have seen the whirlpool of emotions going on in yours.

“Y/N, I know that you are hiding something from me. Tell me what is it?” He knew something was wrong and he assumed that the only reason as to why you weren't meeting his eyes was that you might have broken his favourite cup and was trying to fix it but left both the mug and glue on the table in a hurry.

“C’mon Y/N, don’t make me wait!! You know I don’t like to be left like that without a proper explanation” he was just teasing but you were losing it.

“M-mr L-Lee, the thing i-is that I-I caught Ms Wu cheating. She was cheating on y-you with someone else.” Your red brownie eyes met his blank cold ones. “What?” was the only thing he could manage to say at that time.

“I-I am so sorry M-Mr Lee but I knew about this for some time b-but I-I didn’t k-knew that t-this was all true until today. I heard her say that s-she loves someone else, w-will marry h-him and that s-she is pregnant. I am so sorry!!” You started sniffling and tried to wipe off your tears.

“M- Don’t let anyone know about this, okay? You didn’t hear anyth-

“I got it sir and I apologise for invading your privacy” before he could say anything further you rushed down the stairs.

2 Days later..

Its been two days since the incident, maybe it was fate or coincidence that the event took place on Friday meaning that you had the weekend off but you were grateful to the Gods for being generous enough to at least stay away from Minho. ‘I don’t know what has happened or will happen at his place. Maybe I should have not sa- No, no.. I would have regretted it if I didn’t say anything. What if they fire me? I have to start looking for jobs as well. Shit, why?’

Multiple thoughts and scenarios were swimming through the brain without any constructive goal. You had switched off your phone because you didn’t want people to disturb you but sadly your health started to get disturbed alot and as a result of stress, overworking, being physically and metally exhausted, you caught a high fever and your due cycle also blessed you.

The high temperature made you so weak that you wished just to stay in bed but your cycle said otherwise, you weren’t able to make yourself a sandwich let alone a soup.

You slowly tried to open your eyes, you still felt weak but you had some energy and as you were trying to adjust to the lights, you realised that this wasn’t the colour of your walls. Did you die or something? As you started to get panic, a hand gently ruffled your hair.

“Shush.. Calm down Y/N, its just me Ryunjin.” hearing her voice calmed you down and thats when another source came in, “Thank you so much Dr Kim.”

“Minho, she is awake. You stay here while I freshen up” Ryunjin said and left. For some time none of you didn’t said anything until Minho couldn’t hold up any longer. “Y/N, I know that you are clumsy and maybe stupid as well. Okay sorry but are you serious? What could have happened to you if Ryunjin didn’t come to check upon you. You could have been dead Y/N!! Don’t you not love or care for yourself, uh? Leave yourself, what about your family uh? Ryunjin? Or maybe me? Have you ever thought that what could have happened if I come to know that the person I love is dead because she is unable to take care of herself.”

Minho frustratedly pulled his hair slightly while you were in utter shock. Your crush has a crush on you. “I-I am sorry, what?’

“Do you like me?” You hopefully looked into his eyes. “I-I, Y-

My Little Pony G5 Chap6 Reveiw

Spoilers below but does anyone care at this point?

So...This was the shortest chapter and sadly could be the last. Which is odd because the special ends with a new villain reveal so like...It's just weird.

What did I think? Honestly not bad though we really could have add an extra episode for actual lore.

Spike made his appearance and it's not bad but besides his mention of foggy memory he doesn't mention much about Twilight or the others besides one scene.

So Twilight sent spike with the dragon stone to the dragon lands to go and hibernate. If that's so then where is Ember? How long has it been? He never mentions anypony else like Fluttershy, Rarity etc. So I can only assume that yes Twilight outlived her friends and became immortal despite a lot of show writers stating the opposite.

But was it so long that Ember died or retired? I mean yes Spike was younger than Ember but even so there are no old dragons there. Unless Opaline killed all the other dragons which if so like damn...Twilight could have done better.

Also Opaline got a weird death? I don't know if she's dead or sealed in the tree. Like for G5 that's a pretty badass death, she basically got the Sombra treatment if she's ya know dead dead or the Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy treatment only worse because she is stuck alive in that tree and will most likely starve to death.

Either way she's gone.

It's kinda sad though because we barely got to know too much about her. Like why did Skyros kick her out and not warn Equestria? Why did Celestia and Luna not help?

The special 'Secrets of Starlight' was okay. The new villain looks super cool. It's kinda sad that we potentially won't see more of her and no I am not going to count Tell your Tale because that series is just ugh.

Also we got another new addition to the crew Comet and yes those ponies should have just been called Crystal ponies. I don't get why they had to make a whole new race when the Crystal ponies are RIGHT THERE! Plus you could add more G4 lore (yes I am aware of the whole issue with Hasbro having to pay Discovery Family in order to use the characters) Spike is an exception because Spike is fully a Hasbro made character from the start of G1.

But that only makes it worse because they are basically replacing the Crystal ponies. Plus we need to know lore wise why Flurry Heart and Cadence didn't help Twilight (Shining Armor is most likely dead here).

It's a shame because the series was getting better, did the dragon designs suck ass? Oh hell yeah, they look awful. But was it outright terrible? No.

G5 was getting better with every season, it's a shame this is maybe the final one. Excluding Tell your Tale which again I do not count because it is not as good. But that's just my opinion.

Either way goodbye G5. Now we have to wait a very VERY long time for G6.

as with the overworld i have a lot of the eastern section knocked out and have barely touched the western half. so i guess i'll go clean up in the east. unfortunately i have not been marking ANY of my boss encounters bc i didnt want to look at this map too closely so i'll probably wind up doing them all again lol

i don't know, am i taking some of the joy of exploration out of the depths by looking at this map early? i guess so, but i don't want to forge on without it, and the internet has spoiled me for the whole thing anyway. besides, they're not detailed enough that you can really tell what it'll look like once you get there. i think some surprises will still remain

another mine...i guess that's to be expected. why do they all have the names of the cities above though? like, hateno didn't exist throughout the ages, it wasnt in oot or whatever. you can't tell me every city in hyrule is 10,000 years old. i guess lin's sheikah slate is naming the mines and using the names of the villages it knows? but IT'S 10,000 years old too. i love totk but the way it breaks the lore is so fucking frustrating, especially since i was finally excited about the lore actually being COHESIVE for the first time after skyward sword.

zonaite really isnt hard to collect...like, at first having to get 4000+ to max your battery seemed impossible. but the hard part is that the refineries don't sell a lot at once so you either have to warp around or wait to turn it all in lol

i like how weather attack makes food useful again? like i stopped making food to help me with heat or cold bc i had armor...BUT i can't have armor to defend me from the elements AND the attack up from the elements at the same time. if i want both, i need food for one or the other! it's very clever. now i need to be more mindful when cooking instead of just doing the same health and stamina refills over and over

Hello my’ mellows, today I will be telling you about Ren and Stimpy characters that I don’t think get enough attention.

Mr Horse

No one talks about him and it weirds me out. he’s not only a FANTASTIC critic but also a snazzy dresser, I mean have you seen that suit he was wearing in Ren Seeks Help? He also was in the army so it’s clear he’s very strong. And to top it all off he’s a very handsome, and I’m surprised that not many people haven’t fell heads over heels over him.

Muddy the Mudskipper

This one is a little more understandable since he didn’t have much of a role in the series, but I still thinks he deserves a mention. KILLER theme song, and cares for his friend enough to take him to a mental asylum to get help (I’m referring to Ren Needs Help). Also is a Hollywood big shot so that’s pretty cool.

The headless boy from APC

I know I briefly already mentioned him in the comment section on your last post, but I feel like I should mention him here too. Some how can operate just fine without a head which is very impressive. Had a kinda cute moment with Stimpy when they were building that house (well chimney I mean). Despite seeming to lose everything and living in a hole he still tried to have as much fun as he possibly can. Overall this character is just wholesome in general and I wish we could see more of him.

Ren’s Mom from APC

This one is gonna be a bit biased since I have a bit of a crush on her, I mean she’s practically a girl version of Ren that fact alone is enough for my lesbian brain go “ME WANT GIANT CHIHUAHUA WIFE” which is a weird thought to have since she’s not a giant, anyway enough of what ever this is let’s get on with the real reasons. She’s very beautiful, but deserves a much better marriage. A lovable psychopath just like her son (this is based off of speculation).

Eggyolkeo - please don't hate me for this >.< inanity is my lover and this character is just so hokey and ridiculous i can't not celebrate him. when he performs on stage and Elvis-struts in his cape and gargled into the mic i lost it. plus seeing the boys being all parental is just so darn cute, despite the poor ending

One of my main hcs is that Rhea is the only Nabatean we know who's directly Sothis' child, and there were a lot more of them who were born like Cethleann (full lizard). But because of their long life and social structure, pretty much everyone knows one another and is at least on friendly terms.

Turtle, Birdie and Cichol may be siblings but it doesn't really matter cuz Cethleann calls every nabatean who is close to her father's age uncle/auntie :')

The birth order goes: Cichol > Indech > Macuil > Pan > Rhea > Cethleann

General Pan stuff:

He's the Metal Dragon. His crest ability allows him to control metallic objects, kinda like telekinesis but only for metals. This is a lot more powerful in his dragon form, where he can liquidify his metallic scales and make pretty much anything he wants. His title is Glimmering Armour cuz he's very sturdy and shiny.

The Fire Dragon is his sister! But she's Luín now RIP. It was getting hit by her that made him force-transform. He knows a lot of fire magic because she's awesome.

Out of the surviving ones he's closest to Rhea cuz they were good friends pre-zanado. He's the one who taught her swordsmanship cuz he's considered one of the best. He also got to know Indech better during WoH cuz they're both holed up together lol. He visits the pond often to talk and hang out.

He and Macuil have a weird rivalry type relationship. They will badmouthing each other at every opportunity and will get into fights sometimes. Macuil is better at magic and Pan is better at physical/weapons arts. Pan/Macuil rivals to lovers 2000+ years slow burn

He didn't have a high opinion of Willhelm because he was Going Though It and willy's kinda stupid. He knew smth was going on with Seiros and Willy but he really didn't want to think about it so all he ever really said was 'your taste in men is horrible'.

The damaged crest stone caused the magic flow in his body to become unstable, that's why he force-transformed like that. In his travels after WoH he pretty much had to relearn magic and was able to get everything back under control so he's better now! But the damage can't be fully undone so now he can't go into regenerative sleep and his normal self-healing has gone down. He can still transform normally but has to stay in one form for at least a few days before turning back, otherwise he might damage his body/crest stone even more.

To answer your questions:

In his travels he was able to see how Adrestia kept falling into depravity and became disillusioned with humanity. By the time of the rebellion he doesn't have a sliver of hope in the nobles or their emperor.

He hadn't met Rhea since he left after the war. He had no clue where Cichol and Cethleann are. He doesn't want to involve other nabateans anyway because he fears for their safety. But he will put himself in danger because self-worth issues and he believes he can't be relic'd with the damaged crest stone. Imagine Rhea's surprise when she arrives at Charon for the peace treaty and sees who Faerghus' strategist is.

He liked humans and thought they were okay but kinda weird pre-zanado. That later changed to 'I may not like humanity much now but that doesn't mean I'm gonna punish children for the sins of their parents.' Fighting with Loog and Faerghus gang brought him hope. They showed him that people aren't so bad after all! But having a child with a human is a big no-no in his books.

He dotes on Cethleann and later Cyril a lot! He considers himself 'the cool uncle', doing stuff like teaching them swear words, making them treats, keeping an eye on them without being overbearing, etc. They think he's very cool.

Yes, he dyed his hair, and got very annoyed with others when they didn't do it properly.

I had a similar HC, that being "hit" by a Relic does weird shenanigans to a Nabatean, and if their crests are similar/compatible it hijacks their own magic, sometimes messing up with their transformations.

Oh, I had a kind of similar HC for Cichol - the trauma after losing his wife and Cethleann was so heavy and he spent 1k years angsting about Cethleann that his body became unstable, and that's why he cannot transform anymore - theoretically, he can since he managed to relearn magic (even if he sucks at it compared to his fam) - but the trauma from the WoH nerfs him unconsciously (instead of "real" damage like your Pan) and he cannot go in "lizard sleep mode" or heal as fast as a Nabatean should.

Let me explain myself:

I don’t know what I want. I know three things; I’m bored, I’m lonely, and I like being your friend.

I wasn’t going to say anything until I was more sure if what I’m feeling, especially since new things have come up since whenever I said what I said. Also I genuinely don’t remember saying that to Pandora but I definitely could have. Who told you/how did you find out? A really smart move would have been to say that you heard whatever when you actually just lied to see what I’d say since you’re curious.

We’ve been friends for basically this whole school year. Legit friends even though we mostly act like we don’t know each other when you’ve called me crying and I’ve gone to you crying (multiple times). We’re opposites. Different lives lived, but we have somethings the same. We both love nature and seem to be high introspective. Valid things, so that’s cool. I think we make good friends and potentially more than that.

I have no clue how much m, if at all, you’re over her. And sadly I can say the same; I’m not sure how healthy it is that I can still see myself with her. For me, I think experiencing new people might help. So I try to kinda put myself out there. I’m bad at it, and often I don’t care enough. But I’d like to change that.

But then there’s that one time something lowkey weird happened. You were pretty awkward afterwards, also valid. But we got over it. Like it really wasn’t that big of a deal. But it did open up a few questions. Was I just available, or did you think about me like that other times? You’ve called me a few times drunk asking for me. I mean, cmon that’s a tad confusing. I’m also fucking crazy and like to over analyze everything. I definitely care about you a lot, and I think you care about me too. If you didn’t, you’d be a fucking psycho and stone cold. Maybe you were vulnerable and let yourself think those things. I literally fantasized about getting married to a fucking sailor right out of school, so like I kinda get it. I can drop feelings pretty fast. Don’t say his name because he’s a weird exception. He doesn’t count. But if you insist, I don’t care that I’m not friends with him anymore. I recently realized I am able to find comfort in letting people come in and out of my life. I try not to get attached. In fact I think fewer people is better, I’m fine without most people. Yet with that said, I’d rather keep the ones I care about in my life. There’s really not that many, and they are usually good people whose company I enjoy. Yet the world doesn’t stop spinning. I strongly believe that things happen for a reason. Everything is a lesson; something to help you learn and grow. So I’m thinking of this like that too. If you can’t be friends with me after this, then so be it. Sucks, but I respect that. I’m fairly confident I can tho. I’d just need a definitive answer. I’m so go with the flow, it sucks sometimes. I’m down to try whatever, but that can end messy. But also like, that’s life? I’m trying not to take things so seriously. Yolo. Like fr. I’m gonna go live in the woods with two of my closest friends for a year teaching a few thousand 10 yr olds how to build log forts and newts. Anyways. Agent (REDACTED) finally picks her name, and tries to set up a surprise for her favorite instructor. She gets caught in the act.

As scheduled, I walk down the dark, dreary Keter Wing to my biweekly beat down by 076-2. I wave at a few people, since the Everybean Incident a lot of staff seem friendlier toward me. Hey, not many people would have handled the Bright problem the way Clef and I did, but it worked. O5 even issued a standing order, whenever Dr. Bright had a new bad idea, he had to take and eat a handful of jelly beans from the neverending jar. O5-3 was impressed by our inventiveness, Clef told me. I reach 076's door, and walk in, expecting a lecture on being ready. I'm greeted by three puzzled guards.

"Hey, guys? Where's my favorite angry anomaly?"

"You didn't get the memo? Pandora's Box is out on a mission. Been gone for a few hours."

"Huh. You mind if I go grab a few things, come back? As silly and lame as it sounds, I want to try and surprise Abel."

"Not my play, kiddo... but so long as it's not a weapon, there shouldn't be an issue. What do you have in mind, not that I care."

"Pretty cold in his cube, a few really thick blankets might be a good call. I located a copy of his favorite book in a secondhand bookshop, the pages are kinda yellow, but the binding is leather, good leather. A couple pillows. A new cloak, stuff like that. He's not big on luxury, or a lot of stuff really."

"Fine. Get your stuff, and Dave, go with her."

"Got all of it in a big box in my office, ready to go." Dave and I head back to my office. He stops me just outside the door.

"Please tell me you mean it, and you're not pranking our perpetually pissed off Sumerian."

"I mean it, Dave. He's taught me a lot, and I want to show my appreciation. Especially considering he could have just killed me instead."

"Good. Abel does not forgive."

We go in, grab the box, and head back. It's a two person job, but only because the box is huge. We go in, and set the box down by the cube.

"Hey, thanks Dave."

"No worries, it was way lighter than expected. I gotta go back to my post now. Hope he likes his surprise." I nod, and get to work.

I'm unpacking everything, and I realize... this is just way too much stuff. I went overboard on the blankets. There's six thick sherpa lined throws, plus four pillows. I stack the blankets on the floor by his cube door, and the stack is up to my elbow. With the fluffy pillows, it's over my head. I'm so focused on not smothering myself in fabric and goosedown I fail to notice the shadow behind me.

"Little Rabbit? What is this?"

"Oh. Uh, hi? You're home early. I was, er, trying to surprise you." Abel glared at me, one eyebrow raised. "I'm grateful for all you've done to help me, and this is my misguided attempt to show it." I reach into the cardboard box, and bring out the book. I hand it to him.

"My favorite book? And all this? Little Rabbit, tongues will wag. They will say you have, how you say... a "crush" on me?" He looks me dead in the eye. Busted.

"Is is so awful to think someone might, if given the chance, like you? Not even in a romantic flowers-and-long-walks-in-the-moonlight way? But, as a person, not a tool or a weapon? Because, weird as it sounds, I do. This is me, just showing my friend and mentor I care. Besides, I know damn well how rough sleeping on stone is."

He looks at me, trying to determine where the lie is. The catch is, I meant what I said. And he knows it. Although, I'd be lying if I didn't have the odd daydream or three. An awkward eternity passes. Then, he pulls me close for a close embrace.

"Little Rabbit, thank you. This is, well... it is more than I deserve. You're so kind to me."

"Aw, shucks. You're getting mushy on me. Better stop that, or they'll say you have the crush on me instead." He smiles, then plants a kiss on top of my head. He then let go.

"Like they would dare say anything to me. Besides, it was a gesture of brotherly affection towards his little sister. You are my little sister, yes? Not in blood but spirit."

"Guess everybody can just call me Sister Rabbit. Nah... just Rabbit. Only you get to call me Little Sister and live."

"And you may call me Big Brother. It feels good to be the older sibling for once."

Hi! How are you? Are you feeling any better? I hope so. I'm mostly fine..it's just a few things from last month kinda carried over to this month and it's more an ongoing thing so that's why. It will be most likely the rest of the month so i'm just letting you know if I don't reply. You can still share your book or regular goals for the year though.

Ya I decided to wait until I watch the movie since I think that's the best way to judge it anyway. I think the premiere was last the other night and I saw a few people say they liked it. Maybe they knew it was a musical already or maybe they didn't, but I'm sure I'm going to like it anyway. I think someone said the girl playing Cady..i forgot her name, was the weakest part in the movie and also she couldn't sing the best so maybe that's why. I find the song pretty meh as a song but I agree about the character development and also haven't heard it in a while. I feel like they are just trying to give it a more modern or realistic high school vibe than the original movie lol so maybe it can be totally different and it's own thing too..even from the original musical. I think Renee will be the standout. I like Not My Fault, but I don't think it's in the movie or anything.

I'm pretty excited for it! I always like her writing and I'm thinking those will be my favorites too since I haven't read People We Meet or Happy Place for a while. That's good to know..I also technically never finished New Girl but I do like it a lot. I am the worst with finishing things clearly lol. Oh okay..I might read a snippet of the Starless Sea soon and I'll tell you if I like it but I'm sure I will. I was wondering why you weren't putting ratings in your reading updates but it's fine if you don't want to. I don't think I will be able to finish any books this month but that just means I'll have to read more than two a different month to reach my goal.

Brand New Eyes is so good! I'm glad you liked it. But it makes sense to take a break to listen to Fall Out Boy. I actually haven't ever listened to all of their songs and albums so if you do, tell me if I should. I am familiar with the Maine and they had an album in August last year so maybe listen to that. I enjoyed it and am pretty familiar with their last few albums mostly. My favorite song by them is called Black Butterflies and Deja Vu. I forgot the other openers. When is your show? I think they do something similar to Taylor and perform a different song every night which makes it fun. I hope you have a great time! I know that might have been a lot so there's no pressure to listen to everything and especially if you don't like something. I can also always give my favorite song recs to start with when you're ready. Call your mom was one of my songs of the year.

So Taylor showed up to the Golden Globes and looked so amazing! I looooved her dress so much! I'm pretty sure i am making it my new lockscreen on my phone haha..something for the new year. She never really wears green or that bright color and it's my favorite. Recently I can only think of the green folklore dress which I also love. At first I thought of green for debut but then everyone was saying green is rep..like a snake duh. I don't really read into outfit theories as much but it made me notice both rerecordings can be green apparently..but Rep is black and debut can also be blue so idk. Unfortunately she didn't win..but I thought Barbie deserved it also. So far, Barbie is the only oscar movie I have seen actually. I will probably watch Saltburn soon though. I also really wanna finish the Bear, which won and the actors won their categories. . Emma Stone also looked amazing and she won her category too, but I haven't watched the movie yet. Unfortunately, we did not get another pic of my queens..but Emma got asked a question about Taylors standing ovation for her and jokingly called her an asshole lol..I just love them so much. She was also there with Selena.

Ooh I really enjoyed Troye's album but do not know any of the stories. I wonder how he explained them since to me the album seems more like a vibe. I think it's interesting you say that though cuz that is exactly how Taylor describes Midnights..as 13 stories throughout my life. So idk if you mean more like that or more like Folklore. I'm not sure Midnights was totally that and it's more like a feeling, and that's how Folklore is to me too. Actually, I think Evermore has more songs that seem like stories than Folklore, and I don't know if I always like that when listening the first time lol. Like it seems like it comes from nowhere almost at first for some reason. It's hard cuz before I always liked hearing about her life, but maybe I would prefer a mix..which I think Folklore mostly is. I do think her next album will be more about her life though after this year she had and I think everyone will want to hear it lol. But we also don't know how it will be either. I do know what you mean and also miss Taylor talking about the music.

So I forgot to mention that a lyric from Electric Touch could be my resolution..just breathe, just relax..it'll be okay lol. I also noticed I see many similarities with Taylor and Paramores albums too. All we know is debut, Riot was their Fearless...they were both nominated for Best New Artist at those Grammys where they met! Brand New Eyes and Speak Now are similar to me or I just played them around the same time. I used to think the instrumental of All I wanted and If This was a Movie is sooo similar with the sound of the guitar and still do. That was before she put it on Fearless and took out most of the guitar though. It's one of the few rerecordings I hear a noticeable difference cuz of that. Paramore, also a self titled album..haha, but it matches with Red. After Laughter has an 80s sound and more poppy like 1989. When I first heard This is Why..it also reminded me of rep..cuz all the loud media/the world songs are near the beginning but then gets softer as it goes on. Hayleys solo albums match up with Folklore and Evermore but I can't really choose which is which. Also I forgot to say that back in 2021, Mr Perfectly Fine and Shy Away from top was released the same day which was a big deal cuz we weren't expecting it. like Taylor released the song on a Wednesday when she would never do that and usually alternative singles release on a Wednesday. I am hoping something like that happens again haha. Anyway for top I forgot to mention that their songs have to do with mental health, especially their older music, just so you're aware and could be another reason I like them so much. I became a fan with the Vessel album in 2012 though. Have a great week! 🩷

i'm trying to take things slower book wise, and focus more on quality over quantity / not getting overwhelmed with committed books (arcs/gifted reads) to the point where i'm not having fun reading anymore (which is what happened last year)! those are really the big goals, but i'm also just really trying to read things i already have access to (arcs, gifted reads i've let pile up for far too long, my physical tbr, etc). i do have a numerical goal (100) but i'll adjust it as needed throughout the year! and i didn't realize someone would notice i edited my reading tracker — i ended up changing my reading tracker on tumblr because i always end up adjusting the star ratings after — sometimes i'll update the tracker and then i'll go wait ... i feel like that book wasn't as good as i thought it was or i'll be like "i have not been able to stop thinking about this book, it's definitely more of a four or five star", so i figured i'd just do dates that i read a particular book instead! i hope you like your reads; keep me posted!!!

a friend of mine saw the mean girls movie last night, and so they told me their thoughts on it — i probably won't see it anytime soon, but i did spend a bit of time last night relistening to the cast recording and i forgot that i genuinely do like the score! i wish it was wittier, or even like ... better (?) like legally blonde, but i do enjoy it a lot. i've been in a musical theatre mood in the last 2 days; i've been listening to hadestown off-broadway, mean girls, amelie, alice by heart, spring awakening, and then just my favorites playlist on repeat. i also listened to the shucked cast recording today, which was my album of the day! and yes, definitely think that renee will be the standout for the mean girls movie musical, although have also been hearing really good things about auli'i, and jaquel too!

i listened to this is why again, and i think after laughter is still my favorite of the paramore albums (which apparently is not a surprise — i asked a few of my friends who love paramore what they thought my favorite album would be and they were all like "after laughter, hands down", which i found funny). i hope you saw my post about the new paramore song too! my concert is march 1st! so i have some time, but it'll take me a couple listens to actually memorize lyrics, so i should reallllly get on it! ugh call your mom is so good; i just love noah kahan. i can't wait to see what he has next in store; it looks like he's been teasing another collab (i think it's with sam fender), and i'd love to see him collab with maisie or olivia too!

taylor's been wearing a lot of green lately! i did see a lot of theories about green / reputation — especially with the snake print boots she wore yesterday, so i'm assuming rep is next! i hope you like the bear; i really loved it! and i was surprised barbie didn't win anything, although i haven't seen most of the other movies, so maybe i'm just saying things haha!

i think a mix between folklore, evermore, and midnights in concept would be cool? i always forget that midnights is "13 sleepness nights", but would also just like to see taylor write more fictional/storytelling things! i was thinking about how detached i feel from taylor for many reasons lately, but also just because i'm someone who loves to go down a rabbit hole and read as much about someone's creative process as i can. i really really wish that we'd gotten more insights about the inner-workings of the eras tour; the choreography, the staging, the set, how they came up with the projections, the lighting, etc. and i think i feel that way about a lot of her projects post-folklore (including the rerecordings).

Thoughts about Aranea Highwind from Final Fantasy XV

I remember that I used to dislike Aranea Highwind from Final Fantasy XV (#ad) in DFFOO. I talk more about that in another post.

That was a long time ago though. These days, I don’t really dislike Aranea anymore. Can’t say I like her all that much either though. I guess it’s best to say that nowadays, I feel neutral towards her. I neither like nor dislike her.

I never felt like I needed her for anything. Never purposely pulled for any of her weapons. Well, I think I might have tossed a few tickets on her debut banner.

But since I wasn’t able to get her Ex and LD, never bothered to do any of her Summon Boards. I did get her Bloom Stone though.

Aranea has triple ATK 108 Artifacts, one of which has Miss Mercenary Boost★★ (Raises INT BRV, MAX BRV, ATK, DEF by 5% while Overclock active) as a secondary.

Now Aranea’s back on a banner again, and I still don’t feel like I need her. Don’t really want her either.

Even if I get her FR, I doubt I’d bother to fully build her and max her out due to lack of resources. So my plan was to just skip this banner.

I was kinda interested in Cait Sith’s LD though. It’s pretty good as a Call ability. I tried to pull for it before but failed to get it.

While it sucks to have missed out on Cait Sith’s LD, it's also true that I never got locked out of being able to do any quest due to not having said weapon.

Sure, there are a few times (very few, actually) wherein I found myself thinking it would have been nice to have Cait Sith’s LD so I could have brought him as a Call, but I’ve always been able to get through a fight even without said LD.

As such, I’m pretty sure I can continue to get by just fine without Cait Sith’s LD. Nevertheless, the fact that his LD is back and available on a banner again has me feeling tempted.

It doesn’t help that I kinda, sorta feel like pulling. I should wait for a new banner but I kinda want to pull now.

And since I’m missing a number of weapons on the Admiration (Intersecting Wills) banner and I don’t have everything here fully MLB already, it doesn’t seem like such a bad idea to pull here even if it’s just for collection purposes.

I don’t know. I mean, I shouldn’t pull here. I should save for other upcoming banners but feeling very tempted anyway. Can’t seem to help myself.

Even if I have no intention of using Aranea for endgame content, even if I know I can get by just fine without Cait Sith’s LD, even if I know a different banner is coming really soon and I’m better off pulling on that banner instead, I still feel like pulling on the Admiration (Intersecting Wills) banner anyway.

Admiration (Intersecting Wills) Banner Daily Free Draws Results

So far, I’ve somehow been able to hold off on tossing tickets on the Admiration (Intersecting Wills) banner. Don’t know how long I’ll be able to manage though.

I've been using my daily free single draw on this banner. As can be expected, I always get either bronze or silver trash.

But one day I actually got a dupe of Aranea’s 35cp. Nice. I readily fused it to the copy I already have.

Didn’t bother to take a screenshot though because back then I thought I’d be able to hold off on pulling on this banner.

And anyway it was just a 35cp dupe. Nowadays, I don’t bother to take screenshots of 15cp and 35cp weapons, especially if they’re nothing more than dupes.

Admiration (Intersecting Wills) Banner Tickets Pulls Results

But much later, I actually ended up tossing tickets on the Admiration (Intersecting Wills) banner. Forgot to take note of how many tickets I had on hand before I started pulling but IIRC, it was around 300+ or so.

Aside from the usual bronze and silver trash, including 10-draws with not a single gold, and 15cp and 35cp gold dupes, also got the following:

Was able to get my first copy of Aranea’s LD after only a couple of crappy 10-draws. Said new LD came from a gold orb.

This 10-draw only gave me 1 gold - Aranea’s LD.

Was down to 327 tickets when Aranea’s LD showed up.

Continued pulling since I’m still missing some weapons from this banner. After a few more 10-draws, I got a gold orb that gave me a dupe of Aranea’s Ex.

This 10-draw only gave me 1 gold - Aranea’s Ex.

A bit later on, was surprised but super pleased to get a Force orb.

Yay! It’s always nice to get a new Force weapon.

Still don’t have any plans of fully building Aranea though. Just don’t have the resources to spare to max out her FR, especially not when I don’t even think I’ll be using said FR.

Once again, this 10-draw only gave me 1 gold - Aranea’s FR.

Was down to 277 tickets when I got Aranea’s FR.

Have a copy of all of Aranea’s weapons now. They’re not all fully MLB but it’s fine. Don’t need to pull on this banner for those weapons anymore. So I should stop pulling already.

But I’m still missing Cait Sith’s LD, and I do kinda want to have it. And since I still have tickets, decided to keep pulling some more.

Unfortunately, Cait Sith’s LD didn’t show up. Instead, just got a lot of crap and dupes.

And a lot of the dupes were useless like that time when I got Fran’s 15cp. At least I also got 1 more dupe of Aranea’s 35cp so I can fully MLB the copy I have without having to use a single Power Stone.

After a few more crappy 10-draws, I got another Force orb. Welp, totally wasn’t expecting that at all.

The dupe Aranea FR isn’t unwelcome since this would help in limit breaking the copy I already have. But since I don’t have any plans of using said FR anyway, and since I already have 1 copy, I can’t help but wish that I’d gotten Cait Sith’s LD instead.

To my surprise, this 10-draw gave me 5 golds. Nice! Too bad they were all dupes. Aside from the dupe of Aranea’s FR, also got dupes of Aranea’s LD, Aranea’s 15cp, Cait Sith’s 15cp, and Aranea’s 15cp.

Ahh, wish that Aranea LD dupe had been Caith Sith’s LD instead. At least I now have enough dupes of Aranea’s 15cp to be able to fully MLB my first copy without having to use a single Power Stone.

Was down to 210 tickets when I got the dupes of Aranea’s LD, FR, and 15cp. Thankfully, I was finally able to stop myself from pulling on the Admiration (Intersecting Wills) banner although it does suck that once again, Cait Sith’s LD eludes me.

Aranea Highwind from Final Fantasy XV

After fully max limit breaking Aranea’s 15cp and 35cp, opted to do the same for her Ex and LD. Also Purpled her Ex or upgraded it to Ex+ 3/3. Fused the dupes of her FR that I got then equipped her with said weapon.

Finished fully limit breaking Aranea’s first armor then bought her second armor and did the same to it.

Also spent the Book and Ingots needed to Purple said armor so I could get more CP in order to be able to equip all of her passives and extensions and such.

Completed all of her Summon Boards but didn’t bother to get any of her Character Enhancement Boards or Force Enhancements.

Normally, I’d at least unlock parts of her Char Boards, particularly the tiles that would give me her LD Call and LD extension passive.

But after taking a closer look at Aranea’s LD Call and LD extension passive, I wasn’t really impressed with the effects of both. Didn’t think I’d need either, especially since I still don’t have any plans of using Aranea for endgame content.

Decided to equip Aranea with the following RF Spheres: King’s (from Final Fantasy Type-0) RF A Sphere, Ardyn Izunia’s (Ardyn Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV) RF A Sphere, and Irvine Kinneas’s (from Final Fantasy VIII) RF E Sphere.

Never really got to use Aranea before. Since mine wasn’t fully built at all and I didn’t even have all of her weapon back then, never bothered to use her. But IIRC, I’ve been able to borrow a few friend support Araneas and I’ve seen more than a few in co-op fights.

That was a long time ago though, so took Aranea to a battle just now. It was an easy quest so it was no surprise at all that Aranea did well.

She can deal pretty good damage, she can break and rebreak enemies, and she can even delay them. She can also debuff them.

I’d forgotten how long some of Aranea’s animations are. It’s kind of annoying, especially since some of the animations of her moves are also pretty similar to each other.

Also, I have to say that I don’t like how Aranea wears a helmet during battle. Not really fond of how you can’t see her face thanks to the helmet. When not in battle though (like in cut scenes), she doesn’t wear the helmet. I wish we had the option to remove her helmet even in battle.

Started farming for Aranea’s preferred Artifacts (ATK 108 with Miss Mercenary Boost★★) but have yet to get the last 2 I need.

Aside from getting crappy and useless Arts, I also somehow keep getting ATK 108 with MAX BRV 330. Too bad these aren’t the perfect Artifacts for Aranea.

It took a really long time before I was able to get the last 2 ATK 108 with Miss Mercenary Boost★★ Artifacts for Aranea.

Had to fuse hundreds of Eidojas before I saw these Arts. To make matters worse, the ones I got ended up costing 15 CP. Meh.

Since I still had some more Eidojas left, decided to fuse all of them to see if I could get another ATK 108 with Miss Mercenary Boost★★ Artifact with a lower CP cost.

Was only able to get one before I ran out of Eidojas. This one cost 12 CP so it was only slightly better than the ones that cost 15 CP.

Ah, well. At least I finally have triple of Aranea’s perfect Artifacts and at least she has enough CP to equip all 3 of them.

Land of Fae Emotional and mental Health

Thinking about how kids and emotional support affects fantasy wolrd. Child protection is way more important in the land of the fae than the human world because wonder at the world partially fuels magic (human or not) as discovered by one of the reapers and their culture in general kinda prioritizes mental and emotional health, a lot of faires see humans and their ass backwards treatment of kids and just go "I could do better than these people." and basically kidnap orphans or children in bad homes which is why humans being raised by fae is pretty common all things considered. Fae also embrace healthy coping mechanisms and negative emotion way more than humans as bottling those things up makes them harder to get rid of later.

As for emotionally healthy happy adults, well they're kinda seen as diamonds in the rough in human society but in Fae society it's way more common being honest about hard things and being supportive in times of need is seen as the standard. That said mentally unwell fae and people do exist and while there is always a place for you if you chose to get better and seek help if you don't and chose to remain in comfortable misery or stubbornness you're generally seen as the worst of the worst. To make an active decision to hurt a child emotionally or physically to make yourself feel better is seen as the lowest of the low especially if it's a child you raised, at best the kid will be taken away until you get your mental health together and at worst you may be turned to stone.

Emotions in the land of fae are so important culturally because emotional hurt can manifest itself physically and it's much more obvious to emotional creatures like Pixies or Gnomes. The greatest honor you can achieve to the fae is being able to look back on yourself at your worst and smile because that's not you anymore. That said this mostly remains as common in communities of fae, if you are a lone Pixie born from a flower with no friends or family it might be a bit harder to wrap your head around. This is how certain toxic groups of fae merge as a counter culture of fueling your worst habits, They typically call themselves Wraiths (despite still being pixies, gnomes, vampires Ect) and typically spread diseases rot and decay wherever they go. Physically their unaddressed issues may present themselves in multiple ways, usually scary manifestations of trauma that represents how the subject feels or perhaps a specific memory. It could be obvious what the issue is but typically it's so garbled and surreal only the person who manifested it can gleam any meaning. Wraith society keeps these manifestations of trauma locked away to be ignored, although in practice this makes them grow bigger.

Henry is a Sproutling member of Wraith society, he constantly overworks himself for the sake of his art. Luna grew up in a typical pixie community with a stable support system and an awareness of her flaws. As you can see there isn't much difference in terms of looks, the difference is one has a being of agony locked away in his Town and Henry is far more physically and emotionally drained. Both are pillars in their community for different reasons, Luna for being an Honest emotionally healthy hard worker with a friendly demeanor and Henry for being functional and "Proof the system works" Although Henry himself will tell you otherwise his negative self talk is seen as modesty.

Cain would be a lone Fae, he is trying his best to work live his best life but isn't aware of a pixie community. He emerged from a blue rose alone and was adopted by some passing Wraiths before eventually rejecting the toxic norm and living amongst the mixed bag people known as humans. He eventually found his happy place with a human man named Akio Sato who became Fairykin once Cain started seeing him as a father figure. Cain isn't fully aware of all of his issues but since he is consistently working on then it keeps a physical trauma creature from spawning.

I mean, you already know this is my liveblog of my rewatch... So obviously there are going to be spoilers...

The thing is, Hans Brauer seems like the kind of guy to be hosting the game, not playing it, judging by his character.  & then he shoves castle into the wall very realistically. Caldwell also seemed very genuine when running away from the assassin. He has no idea the gun is real! He’s a great roleplayer tbh But is it really how the game works that he’s going to get a phone call telling him to leave? Is it like “You lost the game & this is basically taking you back to your last checkpoint” or smth? Castle is enamoured. I’m assuming you called Jordan Shaw? (& Agent Gray?)

What was that camera whip? With the sound? “Yo Beckett” *fwoosh*

I like how she can clear the rooms while she gets Castle (a non-cop) to open up the drawers
