Kaveh is definitely the roommate who would have spa nights with you! You two do the whole lot,facials, pedicure etc.

Haitam absolutely refused he would rather have his nose in a book. But all it takes is some puppy eyes and he just sighs and agrees

I love them so much it's unreal, omg.

So, imagine that both have a crush on you.

Kaveh is an absolute icon. This man has an entire shelf just for all his creams, moisturizers, soaps, oils, and perfumes. No doubt about it! His skin is glowing!

Alhaitham is more the introverted who keeps to himself most of the time and mostly tends to his books. Whenever there is some group activity going on with you and Kaveh you always ask him to join, but more often than not he declines.

One day they both realize they have feelings for you that have begun to bloom in their chests and subconsciously they start to fight for your attention.

Alhaitham as the more introverted and reclusive of the two men, generally prefers to be on his own so Kaveh thinks his chances are better. After all, he spends more time with you already and Alhaitham always declines your invites too. And unsurprisingly he keeps doing so, because he'd rather have you for himself and not join some stupid activity Kaveh is into as well.

That is until he sees Kaveh putting a face mask on you and massaging the soft skin on your face. Something inside Alhaitham starts searing. Why did you not come to ask him if he wanted to join this time?

When Alhaitham asks what the two of you are doing you turn around, grinning widely uttering a cheerful "spa night!" before innocently adding "Do you wish to join? I can apply a face mask for you, too." while throwing him the cutest puppy eyes he had ever seen.

While still not being the biggest fan of the idea, Alhaitham sighs and joins in. Only because it's you though. If you didn't say yes soon he might actually get down on his knees. As funny as that would be, could you truly deny this man some cuddles? No, exactly.

"Oh fine, you big baby" you playfully teased as you placed a gentle kiss on his forehead.

"Kaveh, I'm home!" you shouted as you walked through the entrance of your home. You sighed as your busy day in Sumeru finally came to a close, finally giving you some time with your lover.

However you hear no response from him. You put down your stuff and realize you hear hammering sounds- he's probably working on another project. You always admired Kaveh's work- seeing how he spends so much time and effort in creating the perfect designs, by thinking of the perfect colour, material, form...

"Kaveh!" you shout again as you walk towards the work room. You realize the hammering is louder than usual, and you hope he's working safely. However, you couldn't shake the feeling that there was something wrong this time.

As you open the door, your heart instantly drops when you see him hunched over, hammering aggressively on something. The room is a mess, a mix of different materials in pieces, and unfinished sketches that are crumpled and thrown randomly across the room.

"My love...?" you whisper, slowly approaching him. You realize he's choking out sobs as he's hammering, and that the chisel was actually puncturing a little doll that seemed to resemble him. You quickly crouch down and put your hand on his shoulder, as a signal to let him know you were here.

"Kaveh-"

"It's no use... it's all worthless." he finally says. Your heart breaks at how dejected your lover was. You knew with how hard he works, some clients probably didn't like his vision, and all the things not working out just came piling on top of him. "I spent so much of my time, making these designs... And they're all garbage."

"Oh Kaveh, my love..." you embrace with him behind, and take the hammer out of his hands. "Don't say that. I can't think of anyone else who could pull off what you think of and make with the same amount of care. Your designs are wonderful."

You both sit in silence for a while, only Kaveh's sobs getting softer until he calmed down. You lift yourself off him and look him in the eyes and smile. You bring your fingers up to smooth his bangs to see his face. His usually passionate eyes were now exhausted and dark- but you want him to know you love him through these hard times.

"Why don't I run you a bath, my love? And we can use those face masks we bought the other week."

"But, the client-"

"I don't want to hear it. You can tell me about it after. C'mon handsome, let's go." You stand up, and reach your hand out to him. Kaveh stood up slowly, letting you bring him to the bathroom. "Now you sit here and wait, I'll go get the bath salts. Here, hold this for me."

Kaveh sits on the ledge as you turn on the hot water in the tub, then quickly run out to grab the salt. He then opens his palm, and he sees the doll of himself that he was stabbing... Then he sees something else- another doll, but the one of you. He remembers when he made the dolls before. A cute model of the two of you to set a human scale for his projects. But now he sees them as another kind of value.

"Kaveh, I'm back- why are you looking at me like that?"

A part of him hates burdening you, dragging you into his sorrows. But you remind him that you're here with him, and that you'll always support him. He sighs, finally deciding to give in and take of himself with you.

"Thank you, my love."

"Of course."

kaveh is quite interested in haitham from the beginning already since hes not used to this kind of ppl and they end up debating and bickering a lot (which both secretly enjoy since ppl cant keep up with him (haitham) or ppl generally dont dare bc theyre intimidated or too fond (kaveh))

(kaveh also enjoys the way haithams eyes seem to glint when he goes "oh?" before he starts spouting all his smart things)

(haitham is positively surprised and thrilled that kaveh can easily keep up, as if theyre both scholars)

haitham is incredibly smart, more so than other scholars kaveh had met or got hired by, but unlike those haitham doesnt boast with his intelligence or tries to put kaveh down for being "a mere eremite who doesnt know a thing unlike a scholar hailing from the akademiya", like some of the more rude scholars had said - haitham listens and answers to his thoughts and arguments all patiently, really listens to him

haitham speaks in facts and constantly questions things, no shame in correcting or exposing others very bluntly to get to the truth but the smart things coming from his mouth are not to prove or rub it in that hes intelligent or wise or always right and superior or anything; no sign of arrogance or haughtiness. he simply states things as they are, this is the way he simply is and kaveh already guesses haithams confidence in himself is easily mistaken with arrogance by people who dont know him well or are not looking deeply, thus feeling inferior to him and accusing him of being arrogant and acting like hes above everyone

so apart of that, haitham speaking all factual and straight to the point (its very cute when he pauses at seeing paimons confused face and starts rephrasing in the middle of his speech so even she can understand) and treating him like an equal, it rlly comes down to it when he sees another side of this man

(before i take away too much from the comic im doodling rn, i cant talk too much about it KJABCSKJ but the accident that killed kavehs father and left him in the desert made him develop a fear of falls and dark places; bc of smth happening he got a panic attack and haitham eases him through it with such love and care and patience that kaveh isnt used to and it makes him feel so much. kaveh is strong and doesnt like to be treated like hes weak or stupid or in need of someones care and protection but haitham doesnt treat him like that, haitham knows how strong and sharp he is and doesnt take this away when hes this vulnerable. kaveh (who always cares and protects others) is on the receiving of such care and protection after all these years of not allowing it, and coming from this seemingly stoic scholar....

basically, when kaveh sees haitham treat him with respect and care, like an equal on all levels, and returns this care and protection in his own way, it fills him with warmth and the need to get closer to him to share this warmth with him, to get more of it

(also ofc shortly after that kaveh gets to see haitham slaughter his way through enemies to get them out and the sight of him covered in blood and not only being sharp and quick with his words and mind but also with his sword and body triggers some feral part in his brain that wants haithams clothes gone so theres that, his nerd is not only sharp and clever and confident and pretty and a secret caring softie but also able to fight, feeble scholar his ass)

and with that, you left to go to your own class with your thoughts. i thought there was way more than 1 hour before school starts..? fuck, i didn't even bring my phone.

kazuha stared at the two's interaction and snickered to himself, "well. you two are cute together, aren't you?" he teased his fellow friend. scaramouche just scowled at him, "not. a. word."

DiVe headcanons [Diluc x Kaveh] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Author's note: Had to edit some stuff after i did the interdarshan championship and saw how he acted during al haitham's story quest. I got to know him more and god i love him so much- so ye, edited some stuff since i want to make him close to canon since he's so perfect. content: full on fluffy lovey dovey little shits, a few crack headcanons here and there, bit of angst, and with Kaveh here, ofc there's alcohol and drunkenness Anyways- enjoy ^^

-One thing's for sure, Diluc confesses first. End of story. Kaveh would plan the most elaborate confession, with plans even for the possibility of rejection. But Diluc. Diluc... [God the confession was so chaotic-]

-He wanted to set things straight as soon as he realized his feelings, making Kaveh have a mix of emotions. -All that's going on in Kaveh's brain: ● "Omg that confession was so cute- with the backside of the mansion as a makeshift candle-lit dinner too? Gosh, he's so adorable-" ●"hefeelsthesamewayhefeelsthesamewayhefeelsthesameway-" ['He feels the same way] ●"I PLANNED AN ELABORATE SURPRISE FULL OF THOSE FLOWERS YOU LIKE BY THE SIDE OF THE LAKE FOR A VERY CUTE BUT AFFORDABLE DATE AND YOU STOLE MY THUNDER-" -Diluc was upset ofc cuz the first thing he saw was Kaveh in fury. [dw, both were a blushing mess after Kaveh finished his angry rambling and Diluc slowly processing what he just said] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ aight time for hcs on when they're dating: -Kaveh sometimes asks Diluc on some architecture stuff. Cuz, he's prolly been everywhere with all this having to import wine, and prolly been in fine establishments. -So maybe some insight into what types of walls he's seen in Snezhnayan infrastructures and whatnot. -Diluc doesn't have many memories of what the buildings looked like since he was focused on the business [like the fatui killing spree]. But Kaveh knows. He's just trying to get to know which places he's been to and see if he can get a story out of him. -Kaveh most definitely laughed his ass off when Diluc told him about the vodka incident and why he's never drunk wine ever again. -Like, he'd tease the shit out of him but still loves him regardless. -I like to think that whenever they go to some sort of gathering, like, a ball, Kaveh sneaks in a bottle of grape juice. -So that whenever someone offers Diluc a drink, he pours the grape juice into his empty cup, then discreetly switches his with Diluc's. -When Diluc took a sip expecting the awful drink, he was surprised to realize it was his favourite glass of grape juice in his mouth. Then he looks at Kaveh, gulping down his glass, then winking at Diluc. -Diluc thinks this is really sweet of Kaveh, but unfortunately, he had to go home earlier than the rest as his partner has gone drunk from a single glass. -Diluc was kinda glad he didn't have to drink whatever was in that glass as well as being out of that ball that didn't interest him. -Kaveh wakes up with a headache but tells Diluc it was worth it as he proceeds to vomit in the bucket that was fetched in advance. -Kaveh is now part of Mondt's drinking squad™ for sure [Kaeya, Venti, Rosaria, and I think Eula?]. -More reasons for Diona to hate Diluc: he has a drunkard boyfriend -Kaeya and Kaveh are besties def. Booba window hotties. The two pretty best friends they say they ain't seen yet. -Both of them terrorize Diluc with lots of teasing. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Diluc: "I would have thrown you out already if you weren't my boyfriend." Diluc huffs, to which Kaveh answers, Kaveh: "I know, but you can't cuz you love me~" Diluc: "..."*clearly blushing* Kaeya: "Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd a point to the Light of Ksharewar, earning yet another embarrassed face from our dearest bartender-" Diluc: "Out." Kaeya: "Aw, why so mean?" Diluc: "Do I have to drag you out myself?" Kaeya: "And that is my cue...drink to your heart's content for me Kaveh~" And off Kaeya goes.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -Kaveh is def really flirty, is what you'd think. But I think he'd be really shy and hesitant about showing affection at first. -Yeah, he's really out going and caring whenever he's with anyone, but showing a specific kind of love that isn't shared between friendship is a different thing. -cuz I mean, with what happened to him, he's constantly questioning himself whether he deserves this happiness, Diluc, or to be even loved. -Diluc takes his time with him though, which allowed Kaveh to slowly open up more emotionally to him. [This made Kaveh a bit more clingy to Diluc, chatting more, and smiling more] anyways- -He likes giving handmade stuff to Diluc as gifts. One of the few he has given is a portrait of Diluc and a miniature version of The Dawn Winery. -There has also been a time where Kaveh played an instrument for him as a surprise for their anniversary. -Ever since that time, they sometimes try to duet during simple at home dates. -Diluc is basically a sugar daddy- ahem. -Diluc loves spoiling Kaveh with gifts. Whenever they go shopping together, if Kaveh saw something, he'd buy it. No doubt. No words needed. -kaveh has always had an eye for pretty things, and with that, he tries not to look into shops as much after he noticed how all the things he wanted to buy but didn't were at the front of his room. [Al Haitham put them inside.] -But that's not the only way he shows his love for Kaveh. Whenever both of them are busy, he has Adelinde taking care of Kaveh for him. -She provides him snacks and beverages whenever she sees Kaveh neglecting his needs just to finish by the deadline. -And whenever necessary, she knocks him out so he can actually sleep for once. She's taken care of the young master, how is this any different? -With this, Kaveh has actually been having a somewhat healthier sleeping schedule than before. As he has developed a fear of not taking care of himself after those countless knock outs from Adelinde. -Going back to deadlines, Diluc sometimes sends connections to Kaveh's client to lengthen the deadline, and with threats if necessary. He loves his boyfriend after all. -So forgot to mention stuff about how Kaveh would be during the time that he finally moves out of Al haitham's house. [he is rejoicing] -So I see Kaveh being out of place and awkward in the Dawn Winery, since he's never had maids and butlers before. -Like, he'd usually do all the chores himself even before his mom left for Fontaine. So this is a real spin off from his usual life. -His conscience not being able to take it, he just helps the maids with their work. By doing so, everyone in the mansion has grown to like Kaveh too, and even being friendly to the point they have a chat with him whenever they're free. -Though Adelinde kinda hates how he's really friendly with everyone, cuz he usually chats with Moco and Hillie, who sometimes takes advantage of his kindness and asking for help with chores. [He was pretty happy to help but like, you have a bunch of deadlines deary-] -As Adelinde and Elzer seem to be the ones that are with Diluc the longest, sometimes they tell Kaveh stories about Diluc. Alhaitham (fun fact, in spanish his name is Alhacén omg) is way more ticklish than what he likes to admit so being tickle interrogated would really be something intense for him xD but he would actually hold up very well UNLESS you tickle his arms AND tease him, then he's a goner!

I think Kaveh is actually not thaaat ticklish, so he'd be relatively good unless of course, you get his ribs and he would spill the beans just because he wants to stop that snorty laugh kekekeke

K: Killer Move | As a ler, do they have special skills to use against their lees and drive them crazy with?

Kaveh is suuuuper good at teasing, that's his secret weapon and his fingers are super nimble and quick, (Alhacén always says he hates Kaveh's fingers, but he honestly loves them), he was born to be a ler, let's be honest

I think Alhaitham's poker face would be his skill xD it flusters his lee so so bad, however if he smirks, then that's even worst because he looks so charming and mean at the same time and there's no way his lee can resist that omg
