Aneesh on IG live: (part 4, additional facts)
Amy's wife in the movie wasn't casted but she wears a ring, so it actually shows her married status
Tumblr media
Matthew is a wonderful director: if he sees you struggling he'd help you asking "how can I help you reaching what you want to reach? Let's figure it out together."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yes, Tzp and Nick are good friends (if it was necessary mentioning)
The RWRB cast texts even in private and she said she received texts from Matthew and Nick even the day of the live
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Amy wasn't at the polo match (in case we get to see the extended version of it, she won't appear)
The night of the movie release everyone was super happy and waking up to the news of top 1 on Amazon Prime made all of them very proud
Everything was shot in London
Tumblr media
The cast bonded a lot and they used to go out dinner (even before start shooting), Aneesh went to theater with Rachel and to a Filipino restaurant with Casey
David was a working dog so he couldn't be casually petted or played with but Aneesh was able to give him a little pet when she was allowed to
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One thing she learned from playing Amy: be a badass and don't apologize for it
Aneesh wasn't on set the day of the cake scene but Matthew kept giving updates through texts
Tumblr media
Just like movie Nora is a mix of book June and Nora, movie Amy ended up being a mix of book Cash and Amy because of time management (+ she didn't hide June in her pocket, it's just conspiracy 😔💔)
Uma Thurman is very sweet
Her favorite line was "No one in their right mind would ever give you a gun"
She read the book 5 times. 2 before even shooting and 2 in the process (the other one either before auditioning or after shooting was over, not sure). Now her book is full of tags and highlighted in lots of colors
Tumblr media
If she could add a characteristic from book Amy, she wanted to have her knitting on the plane but the scene was already very full of elements and even if she discussed it with Matthew, they weren't able to implement it
She trained before starting shooting not knowing what the demands to play Amy were and weapons training was also discussed but eventually cut so she didn't have to go through it
The last day of shooting they had a rap party and Matthew gave a lil speech
She said she was going to post a video about her bangs and she did☺
Here for part 1, part 2, part 3

Hank Voight / Reader (F)
Authors note: I like the thought of Voight being super protective, he's a good man.
Summary: When a building explodes, you and Voight end up trapped in the rubble for 18 hours. However, you neglact to mention the wounds you sustained sending Voight into a panic. The only issue? The rest of 51 can't grasp why Voight cares so much about you. You're just a firefighter... right?
Warnings: Mention of serious injuries, explosions, being trapped in a collapsed building. Mention of dying but being revived. Angst, If you think there needs to be other warnings, please do let me know.

"I NEED A MEDIC NOW!" Voight came limping out from the collapsed building carrying your unconscious body. Brett was the first to get to him, then chief Boden, Ruzek, Atwater, Casey and a multitude of other people. Boden helped shift your body onto a backboard, Ruzek helping to hold up Voight.
"She... she took a load of shrapnel to the stomach. She passed out about ten minutes ago." Brett nodded, ushering Boden and the others to move you onto the ambo. Ruzek gripped Voight tighter,
"Come on boss, we need to get you seen to as well." Voight didn't want to move at first, watching as the ambo holding you sped off away from the scene.
"Boss come on, we got this." Finally agreeing, Voight let Ruzek walk him to his car.
"Keep up with that ambo." Frowning Ruzek nodded, peeling away from the chaos behind him. Voight kept quiet the whole ride to Med, he let Ruzek update him on everything that had happened between the time he went into the building, till the time he came clambering out. A huge fire had started in a building the intelligence team were watching. They had a gang under surveillance who were meant to be the newest suppliers of heroine. It seems, they were so new they didn't know how to balance the chemicals properly, causing the whole building to go up in flames. FireHouse 51 had showed up, and got to work battling the fire. It didn't take long for the fire to be put out, or it's occupants to be escorted out. Once it was clear, Voight asked Boden to be shown where it had started to see if any of their gang members were part of the new burnt features. Boden had grabbed the first person that passed, you. Of course it had been you, of all the firefighters on this job it had to be you that came past at that moment.
"(Y/N), would you be so kind to show Sergeant Voight where the fire started please?"
"Sure thing Chief." Nodding his thanks, Voight followed you into the building. You'd only been in there for a short while when something blew up, causing most of the building to come down around you, and that is where you had both become stuck for eighteen hours. EIGHTEEN! Voight had ended up with a piece of metal impaling his thigh, and you had taken shrapnel to the torso. But you hadn't told him at first, you'd wanted to help Voight and anyone else you could find.
"I'm a firefighter Hank, it's my job to help others." He could still hear your voice ringing through his head. He'd only realised something was wrong, when your face became pale. Wrenching open your fire coat, a wave of horror spread over him. You had multiple entry points in your stomach and side, and blood was slowly oozing out of all of them.
"God damnit (Y/N)!" He stripped off his outer layer, tying it around your stomach trying to stop the blood flow. He'd spent hours digging away rubble, trying to find a way out. The last time he had felt this panicked, Camille had become terminally ill. You were both lucky that you hadn't gone too far into the building when it had blown, he managed to make a gap that he could pull you both through.
"Boss?"
"WHAT!" Ruzek frowned at Voights outburst.
"I know you're angry, and injured but we're gonna get this son of a bitch okay?"
"Mmm." Nodding he turned to look back out the window, letting Ruzek's words wash over him.
---------------------------------------------------
Voight came down to the waiting room to find the whole of 51 in there. Boden stood up, extending his hand. Shaking it, Voight nodded at everyone in the room.
"How is she doin'?" Boden gave a frown, keeping his voice low.
"We don't know yet, they took (Y/N) in for surgery about three hours ago." Clenching his jaw, Voight put his hands in his pocket. Hermann came over, giving an appreciative smile to Voight.
"Hey uh... thanks for pulling (Y/N) out. I uh... she's on my rig and I appreciate you looking out for her."
"Don't mention it, she's a good woman. You should both be proud of her, she spent most of her time looking for any casualties and trying to get us out of there." Smiling, Hermann looked at Boden both of them showing pride. Doors swinging open behind them all, a surgeon walked out smiling half heartedly at the crowd of firefighters.
"I managed to remove all of the shrapnel, there was a lot of internal bleeding. So much so that she coded twice on the table... I..." Voight stepped forward quickly, anger rolling off him in waves.
"You mean died... she died on the table." Looking uneasy the surgeon nodded.
"Yes... but I have managed stop all of the bleeding and she is in the recovery room." Boden looked between both men, a frown forming on his face.
"Uh... thank you Doctor. Are we able to see her yet?"
"Yes, she is still asleep but feel free." Most of 51 got up and quietly made their way into your room, Boden, Hermann, Voight, Severide and Kidd all remained in the waiting room.
"You know you didn't have to get all rude to the Doctor?" Kidd said, eyeing Voight with a pissed off look. Turning, Voight watched Kidd for a moment then looked around at the rest of them.
"I just spent eighteen hours trapped under a collapsed building with her, so please excuse me for feeling a little concerned for her wellbeing." Boden stepped forward, wanting to calm everyone down.
"We're all concerned here Hank, but you don't need to get angry at the people trying to save her life or my team." Smirking Voight turned on his heel, Hermann piped up feeling his temper rise.
"Hey you know we care about (Y/N) a lot! We were just as scared when you brought her out, so don't act like you're the only one who cares for her. She is part of our team.. OUR family okay and.." Voight whipped round quickly, his temper at breaking point, not noticing Ruzek, Burgess and Atwater stepping in behind him. He couldn't bring himself to say anything, knew if he did he would have a whole damn house of firefighters come down on his ass.
"Uh... Sarge? We um... think we've found the guys. We're going to bust them now. Do you want in or..." Rubbing his face in frustration, Voight turned on his heel.
"Let's go." Shoving past Atwater, Voight headed out fire burning his blood.
----------------------------------------------
Prying your eyes open, you found yourself laying in a dark room with the quiet beep of machines around you. Glancing round, you realised you was in Med.
"Hey... how you feeling?" Looking to your left you found Brett sitting in a big arm chair. Smiling you sat yourself up wincing at the pain in your stomach.
"I feel like I've been used as a sieve for bomb fragments. But other than that, I'm fine." Reaching for your hand she squeezed it,
"We were all here, we're taking it in shifts to check on you." Frowning you looked over at where your uniform had been set aside.
"The explosion... what happened? Did anyone else get hurt?"
"It's okay, we were all out of the explosion zone enough to just get a few cuts and scrapes. It was only you and Sergeant Voight that got the brunt of it." You felt your face grow hot at the thought of Voight.
"Christ... was he okay?" You tried to sound casual but it clearly wasn't enough. Brett smiled softly,
"Voight... he's fine. The last I heard he was out with his team hunting the gang responsible."
"But...?" It was Brett's turn to flush this time.
"Well um... see while we was waiting to hear about your surgery, he came and waited with us. The surgeon finally came out and told us how you was doing, but Voight... he seemed angry at how injured you had been." Your heart was racing now, every thought going through your mind.
"He didn't say why he was angry... but... when we spoke to Burgess she said that he gets a bit over protective. He thinks it's his job to save everyone you know?" Nodding, you felt your eyes water slightly as you dropped your gaze.
"He was angry I didn't tell him about my injuries, that's probably why he was so angry." Glancing up at Sylvie, you gave a half smile.
"I kept my mouth shut about the shrapnel I had taken, I knew if I didn't try to get us out of there, I'd have lost my mind. I just..."
"Hey, you don't have to explain yourself to me (Y/N), I get it. It's part of our job." You wiped at your face. She leant in and gave you a hug,
"Tell you what, I'll come back and see you tomorrow. You get some rest okay?"
"Thanks Sylvie, you're amazing." You watched her quietly leave your room, smiling to yourself as you shut your eyes feeling the sweet lull of sleep pulling at you.
ONE WEEK LATER
You'd finally gotten out of the hospital and was now resting in your own home. Most of 51 had called in to see you, bring you food and check you was okay. You hadn't seen Voight, he'd been pulled into another case which was taking up all of his time. You didn't mind, usually you were both pretty busy with work. Looking around your home, you felt boredom set in pretty quickly. You'd been resting for over a week, you needed to get out take in the night air.
Freshening up, you pulled on clothes that didn't make you look like a college bum, grabbed your keys, and headed out to Molly's.
"(Y/N)!" Hermann's voice rang out over the crowd, causing the rest of second shift to turn and grin. Smiling, you waved. You had a lot of people come and hug you, pat you on the back. Taking a seat at the bar, Hermann handed you a drink, squeezing your hand.
"It's good to see you kiddo." Taking a swig of your drink, you smiled.
"Thanks Hermann. I'm glad to see you too." You sat quietly, watching everyone come and go from the bar. Kidd had joined you at some point and you'd had a few drinks before you heard a bit of a commotion at the door. Both of you turning, you saw Voight standing in the doorway, looking straight at you his face full of thunder.
"Oh girl I think you're in trouble." Spinning back round you saw Kidd's eyes widen as she got out of her chair swiftly moving away. Before you could call her back, you felt a heavy presence behind you. Slowly turning, you found Voight looking down at you.
"I've been looking everywhere for you... you weren't at the hospital... or home... I thought you'd... I thought." His voice was low and dark. Fear and frustration was rolling off of him.
"I just wanted some fresh air, and decided to come here." Hermann was standing close by, listening in. Voight leant closer, reaching out a hand to gently touch your cheek.
"I was worried about you." Hermann shook his head and stepped closer.
"Hey Voight, I know you care but you're being a bit much aren't you?" Voights eyes lit up with a fire as some of the others of 51 had started to listen in.
'It's okay Hermann." You could see both men getting more angry by the second.
"What... no he's being a jerk. You aren't the only one who cares about her... she..."
"We're dating Hermann!" You felt the whole bar go silent. Hermann's eyes went wide, his mouth half open. Voight looked down at you, a smile playing on his face.
"You're...you and... and and Voight?" Hermann seemed to be struggling with what you'd just told him, slowly looking behind you and saw the rest of 51 had obviously heard you too. Keeping your voice quiet, you leant into Voight a little.
"Yes... me and Voight. That's why he was angry at the hospital." Sighing you looked up at Voight.
"For how long?" Hermann sounded confused and curious all at the same time. Voight answered before you could, never taking his eyes off of you.
"Mmm... about a year and a half."
Hermann seemed to go pale, kicking himself that no one at 51 had figured it out. Sighing, you gently placed your hand on Voights side.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about the shrapnel, and... and I'm sorry you were worried about..." Before you could finish, Voight leant down and kissed you softly his big hand gently tilting your head back. Pressing his head to yours he smiled,
"You don't have to apologise. It's who you are, putting others before yourself. It's how you're built, it's why I fell in love with you." He enjoyed watching the surprise light up your face. Reaching up, you ran your hand over his cheek.
"Want to get out of here?" Grinning, he hummed in agreement. Helping you off your bar stool, he placed his arm around your waist, walking you slowly to the door. You could feel everyone's eyes on you, heard Kidd and Brett whistle at you. Tilting your head up to him, you waited for him to lean in closer so you could kiss his cheek.
"Huh... what was that for?"
"I love you too Hank." Smirking, Voight reached out for the door guiding you both out into the warm Summer night.

My Boyfriend's Back Chapter Eighteen
Disclaimer: I do not own the song. It is a song by Chvches. Check it out on my slofity playlist for this story.
Spotify
One month. That's how long it's been since Stu showed up in my dorm. I knew he was still here watching me. I could feel his eyes on me. School had started and today was the anniversary of both my mothers murder and the party. It's been one year since Casey, Steve, Tatum, Himbry and Kenny (Gale's Cameraman) were killed by Stu and Billy. Two years since they killed Sidney and I's mom. One year since they almost killed Gale, Dewey, and Randy. One year since they kidnapped our dad and planned to put all of it on him.
One year since Sidney and I were almost killed by our own boyfriends. One year since Sheriff Burke told me Stu wasn't in the house and that he was still alive. One year of looking over my fucking shoulder, waiting for the day he shows back up to finish what he and Billy had planned. I was his final girl. And the final girl never has a happy ending. The final girl gets nothing but fucking trauma to last her a life time. But at least this final girl got to make a song from it all.
Swallowing the seeds of sins we sewed into the ground
Keeping secrets until everything became a bit too loud
I could wash it down
I could drown it out
By filling up the silence with an organ sound
And by writing sentences I used to think were quite profound
And it feels like the weight is too much to carry
I should quit, maybe go get married
Only time will tell
And I wonder if I should've changed my accent
Tried to make myself more attractive
Only time will tell
I tapped my pen against the paper in my notebook. I was on my bed, laying on my stomach, feet kicking back and forth. Rain hit the glass of my window. It was kind of relaxing. It was a weekend but not a lot of people were out with the rain. I shut my notebook and got up, grabbing sneakers and slipping them on. I grabbed my bag and saved my notebook inside, grabbed my dorm keys and pulled on a jacket before walking out the door. And yes, I locked it.
I made my way down the stairs and out the door into the rain. It was coming down hard. I could hardly see in front of me. I wanted to go to the theater building. That's where the studio was. I needed to come up with a beat for this song. Usually once I find the right beat the lyrics just come to me. I held my bag to my chest while I ran across campus. I sighed in relief when I finally made it inside. My shoes squeaked against the floor as I hurried down the dark hall. I found the music wing and opened the door to the studio.
I pulled my jacket off and put on the back of the chair, pulled my notebook out and went straight to the drums and started to play around with different beats. It didn't take a little before I found a beat that I liked. I grabbed a guitar to mess around with that for a while trying to match the beat from the drums and worked on putting everything together before going back to the lyrics.
In the final cut
In the final scene
There's a final girl
And you know that she should be screaming
Telling all the tales took time that I just do not have
Sifting further through the wreckage, I think you just have to laugh
Try to take it back
As it turns to black
Don't want to find your daughter in a body bag
So I need to get out now while most of me is still intact
I stopped writing and looked around when I got that all too familiar feeling of being watched. I shook my head and took a deep breath. "You're fucking losing it. Nobody is watching. You're here alone. In a big building that had dark halls and dark corners and a lot of places for people to hide." I was spiraling and needed to stop myself. I shook my head again and focused back to writing the rest of the lyrics out.
And it feels like the weight is too much to carry
I should quit, maybe go get married
Only time will tell
And I wonder if I should've changed my accent
Tried to make myself more attractive
Only time will tell
In the final cut
In the final scene
There's a final girl
Does she look like me?
In the final cut
In the final scene
There's a final girl
And you know that she should be screaming now
I jumped when a loud clap of thunder hit. I quickly got my stuff together, pulled my jacket on and made my way out into the dark hall. Recording the song would have to wait for another day. I didn't want to walk back to my dorm while there was lightning and thunder going on. Rain I don't mind but lightning is another story.
The hall looked more dark than it did when I came in. I was in the studio a lot longer than I thought I was. I started walking through the dark halls towards the exit when I thought I heard something behind me. I kept reminding myself not to stop or turn around and to just keep going.
When I finally got to the doors they were locked. "Shit!" I hissed. I turned around, putting my back to them and looked around. I couldn't see anything in front of me. I had to find one of the other doors.
I looked to my left to see the theater itself. I quickly made my way to the doors and found one that was unlocked. Then I quickly made my way to the stage and up the steps. There was a door that went outside backstage. I only know this because I came in here with Sidney the other day. But when I tried to open that door it was locked. "What the fuck?!" I could feel the panic start to settle in a little.
I headed back out into the stage and made my way back to the doors that went out into the hall. I stopped and listened as best as I could since I couldn't see anything. Maybe the back entrance is open. I don't understand why the doors were locked in the first place. Lots of students came in here and the film building after school hours. I made my way back down the hall at a quick pace. Doing down the stairs and down more halls. I sighed with relief when I found the back entrance to the building. But that relief quickly faded and was replaced with fear when it was locked.
I ran back up the stairs, running down the dark halls past empty rooms. I was getting closer to the front doors again when I felt someone watching me, footsteps getting closer and closer, and when they stopped, I heard the voice I dreaded hearing. I didn't need to see the smile that he had on his face because I could hear it in his voice. "Nowhere to go now, baby. No more running from me. Just give up and give in."

I had such an incredible time at Back to the Future: The Musical this past Saturday! I decided a couple of weeks ago on a much-needed solo adventure when I was able to score tickets in the eighth row for a good price!
Coming from the Pittsburgh area, it’s about 6 hours’ drive to the Big Apple. I left at 4 AM and followed the sun across Pennsylvania, sneaking a snapshot when the fog broke long enough (it was so foggy!).
Tumblr media
There was also some lovely flora and fauna amidst the fog at the rest stops, particularly at the PA-NJ border.
Tumblr media
Now, I have been to NYC three times before this in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Coming back felt like the most special and most normal thing at the same time. I missed it! While I could never live in a city, I enjoyed taking in the awe of the big buildings and novelties Times Square had to offer a couple of hours before my show (I should have went back for that Reese’s candle, but I def had NY Cheesecake for dinner).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now the show? Amazing. Spoilers below the cut.
First off, let me assure you that whatever seat you have, you will hear the show. I’m pretty sure my hearing was a tad damaged from the sonic booms and big chorus numbers, and I had a decent headache from it, so just be warned that it was a bit louder than anticipated. If you’re in the last row of the mezzanine, you’ll hear it all, I promise!
Some of my favorite things about the performance:
Hugh Coles makes it look like they plucked George McFly straight out of the film. He was incredible and by far the perfect embodiment of his character. So if you’re a big George fan, this is your show! If you’re not, he will make you fall in love with him! Incredible!
Roger Bart makes a joke about going to 2020 and there is no disease and a few people really cackled at that, and he broke character to look at someone and say thank you. Then, for probably 45 seconds, he broke character laughing with us over it, and Casey (Marty) is just standing there looking perfectly confused without cracking. It was a delightful way to start the second half!
Super enjoyed that when Marty meets Doc and is first trying to convince him to come see the DeLorean, Doc sees him go right for the flashlights in a drawer he couldn’t possibly know they were in, making him realize this kid might be who he says he is. I don’t know why that little detail stuck out to me as so significant, but it did. It was so satisfying from a storytelling perspective.
I loved George and Marty’s number in the backyard. We don’t get to see a lot of Marty really positively connecting with his dad in the movie unless it’s serving the “saving himself from non-existence” plot. I loved the genuine father-son feel of Marty dancing and George trying to copy him and Marty celebrating him for it. That felt good. One of those things theater is really good at capturing!
They filled the auditorium with bubbles during the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance and OH, talk about immersive atmosphere. Loved seeing everyone reach up to pop at least one bubble, like we were accepting some kind of offering. So fun!
Jennifer’s UNCLE HUEY. NICE.
The stage changes to the story were acceptable and believable. I almost didn’t realize the whole skateboard chase didn’t happen til the scene before the dance in the diner. Good job of keeping things succinct by combining various scenes and keeping the pace smooth!
This is nothing, but I saw a fake flower go flying off a bouquet and almost immediately one of the Texaco guys just tucked it in his rag when his staging brought him close enough during the number and kept going. I love seeing how discreetly the “oops” gets fixed on-stage.
After the show, I was out back to have my playbill signed by the cast when BOB GALE walked within a foot of me. I froze. I wasn’t sure. It has been my goal to ask this man the month and day of Doc Brown’s birthday for years and I BLEW IT. But he was quietly trying to get out of there I think. Someone got a quick photo with him before he disappeared in Times Square and UGHHH I can’t believe he was RIGHT THERE. (My friend who went to the 8 PM show said Alan Silvestri was there! How cool is this??)
My playbill was signed by all of the cast minus Roger Bart. He did not leave the theater that any of us saw. I did get to catch a photo with Mayor Goldie Wilson on his way back in, though!
Tumblr media
I also got to meet up briefly with @bri-to-the-future and give her a 60s Doc I crocheted for her! How fortuitous that we got to see the show on the same day and meet face-to-face!
Tumblr media
And then it started raining, my hotel didn’t get my reservation, and I was so mad that I just drove the six hours home (do not recommend). 🙃
It was certainly an adventure! I’m so glad I finally got to see it in-person, and I definitely recommend it! Now I can officially talk musical! 🎵 🎶

Post-2x06 Ficlet
I'm still in denial about some of episode 5. My brain keeps going HERE'S HOW LOKIUS CAN STILL WIN, REASON #3234, etc. And also I want my Time Revengers to be friends. (I also may have inadvertently written their version of the shawarma scene.) Spoilers for Loki, minus episode 6 because it hasn't come out yet. (Although, given how episode 5 went and Scattered to the Wind, maybe I should say spoilers for episode 6.)
Shall I Stay? Would It Be a Sin?
It takes innumerable failed attempts, and Loki is exhausted, but at long last, it works. The Throughput Multiplier gets into the launcher, or whatever (OB has a more scientific term for it, but Loki’s going to pass out any second, so he can’t be bothered to remember it), the button doesn’t stick from the radiation, and the aim is true. The rings in the Loom increase in size, the timelines can fit before the Loom overloads, and whoever is wearing the suit this time gets back before their body unspools like spaghetti.
And it’s over. The TVA and the timelines and the multiverse are saved. Sylvie is looking at him like it’s time.
He knows it’s time.
He doesn’t want it to be time.
Mobius suggests pie, and Sylvie looks mutinous, but the six of them trek to the automat after sending Victor back to Chicago. They push the tables together, ignoring the warnings on the walls, and for a few minutes there is nothing but the sound of spoons scraping against ceramic.
But Loki can feel Sylvie’s eyes on him as he sits, shoulder to shoulder with Mobius, and he knows it’s time to broach the topic.
“I have to tell you all something,” he says softly, setting down his spoon and looking around at them all. Four more pairs of eyes swivel to him, and he takes a second to look at each of them, these people he’s come to care about. His friends. His chest aches and the pain nearly takes his breath away. He speaks anyway.
He tells them how they did not actually succeed on their first attempt, and these agents of a time-traveling institution don’t look particularly surprised by this, beyond their initial shock. It’s not the first time he’s told them something they don’t have memories of, after all. He tells them of the disastrous first attempt that scattered them across the timeline, back to where they were from. He doesn’t go into detail about their various lives; he will get to that later, when Sylvie restores their memories. He tells them how he tried to bring them all together to restore the TVA and save the multiverse, how ultimately it was not enough, how in the final seconds of their dissolving reality he finally learned to control the time-slipping. He explains his return to just before their first attempt, and trying over and over and over to get it right.
“Okay. Wow, that’s a lot,” OB says, looking around at the others.
“So… now what?” Casey asks.
Now I lose you again. Loki takes a steadying breath. “Now, if Sylvie is able to help, we’ll restore your memories and you can go back to your lives.”
Sylvie nods to the others, then glances at Loki, the look in her eyes changing to sympathy and encouragement.
There’s a long pause as the agents digest this information.
“Hold on, don’t we get a say in this?” Casey says. OB nods in agreement.
“You didn’t get a choice last time. He Who Remains abducted you from your life.” Loki says. But, not for the first time, he recalls finding Casey on the beach, escaping a high-security prison, on the brink of becoming a fugitive. His eyes find Sylvie at the thought. A fugitive, like his other. He wonders if she would still believe it is right for everyone to go back to their timelines if she knew, but it’s too late now; that argument is long over.
“But it sounds like we aren’t getting a choice this time, either,” OB says. “What about our lives here?”
This isn’t how he expected it to go. After his conversation with Sylvie in the bar in Broxton, he’d been convinced he was doing what his friends wanted. Yet here they were, making the same arguments he had that night. He looks to Sylvie for help.
“This isn’t a life, OB. This is control. You’ve been controlled for who knows how long. You can be happy now.” Sylvie says.
“You can write your own story.” Loki adds.
“I am happy now,” OB says quietly, glancing very quickly at Casey before staring down at their pie.
“And what do you want, Loki?” Mobius says softly at his side, ripping his heart out with six carefully spoken words. He forces himself to turn and make eye-contact with Mobius, with the one it’s going to hurt the most to lose.
“It’s not about what I want,” Loki replies, just as softly. “What I want doesn’t matter.”
Mobius holds his gaze for a long moment, and Loki’s heart aches at the sadness he sees in the agent’s eyes.
“Do you really think you deserve to be alone?” Mobius murmurs finally, and Loki is launched back to before the Loom became unstable, before the Citadel and He Who Remains and being pruned, before Mobius was pruned. He remembers the last time the agent asked him that, in a time loop of Sif calling him a conniving, craven, pathetic worm.
“You will be alone forever, because you deserve it.”
Loki blinks, opens his mouth and closes it a few times. He can’t. He can’t do this, not if Mobius is going to break his heart and put it back together and break it again without meaning to in the span of a breath.
“Mobius. Please don’t do this to me.” Loki whispers, his voice barely a breath. He hopes the others cannot hear, but he knows that Mobius can.
Mobius opens his mouth to respond, but B-15 finally speaks up. “Let’s compromise, Sylvie,” she says calmly, somehow easily picking up that this is Sylvie’s idea in Loki’s mouth. “You and Loki can restore their memories, and we can all make our decision with both eyes open. Stay at the TVA, or return to our former lives.”
“Why not yours?” OB asks.
“Sylvie has already given them to me,” B-15 says. “Before the timeline fractured, actually.”
“And?” Casey prompts.
“I’m staying.” She says with confidence. Loki stares at her, and Sylvie whirls to face her.
“Why? You told me you thought you looked happy!” Sylvie demands.
“I did. I was a pediatrician. I did good work, I made kids feel better. But I lived in New York.” B-15 says, and Loki’s mind moves faster than her story. He knows what’s coming before she says it. “My practice was destroyed in 2012.”
“B-15, I–” The remorse and grief that strikes him like a knife cuts off his voice for a moment, and leaves him at a loss for words. He swallows. “I’m sorry. I can’t begin to tell you how sorry–”
“Loki, save it,” she says, but her voice is kind and calm. “If I knew you for a shorter amount of time, or I had not had as much time to process, I might be angry. If I could recall if there were any casualties, I might feel differently. But I’ve seen the recording of your life, and I know what brought you to my city and caused that Chitauri warrior to crash into my building.”
Memories of the bowels of a ship and a Mad Titan and his children taking Loki apart piece by piece with knives and magic and lies, putting him back together in the image of a follower of Thanos and a shell of his former self. He locks the thoughts away again, in that box that will one day need to open, but not today.
“And anyway,” B-15 continues, thoughtfully, “I got my revenge, in a way. I arrested you after you stole the tesseract.”
Loki smiles involuntarily. “You hit me in slow motion.”
B-15 smiles back. “So we’re even. Sort of.” She turns to Casey, who sits beside her. “Your turn.”
Sylvie gets up. She still looks surprised that anyone wants to stay here. Casey looks at her, eyes a little wide with fear.
“You can look, and then you can make a decision,” B-15 reminds him. He glances at OB, then back to Sylvie and nods.
Sylvie places her hands on the side of his head, and Loki watches the magic dance between her fingers, flow into Casey’s temples. After a moment, she pulls away and Casey opens his eyes. Loki catches a small frown on Sylvie’s face.
“I…I escaped prison.” Casey says. “I was about to be a fugitive. I don’t want to be on the run for the rest of my life. That sounds hard. And lonely.”
Loki feels a little sympathetically embarrassed when everybody turns from Casey to look at Sylvie.
Sylvie swallows, uncomfortable. “It isn’t all it’s cracked up to be,” she says, voice somewhat choked.
“I don’t want to go back,” Casey says, with another glance at OB.
Sylvie moves to OB, and it occurs to Loki that Casey did not actually choose to stay at the TVA with his answer.
Sylvie repeats the spell, and when OB opens their eyes, they shake their head almost immediately. They meet Casey’s eyes before looking around the table, and Loki starts to wonder if something might be going on between these two.
“This is my life,” they say with conviction. “On the timeline, I’m alone, I’m unemployed, no one appreciates what I most enjoy doing. I don’t need anyone to appreciate it,” they add, flushing. “But on the timeline if no one appreciates it, I cannot support myself. Here, I have a purpose.”
A why, Loki thinks.
“And I’m happy.”
Loki thinks of fixing Mobius’s tie, of ruining his salad to illustrate a point. “You’re gonna take my job if I’m not careful.” “Come on, you’re the God of Mischief.”
“And I’m not alone.” Loki almost misses the fond smile OB gives Casey, because a hand grasps his shoulder and his stomach bottoms out. He turns to Mobius, and for a moment is lost in the eyes of this man who is so important to him, he scarcely has the words to explain it.
It’s firm hands grasping his, the most solid and comforting thing he’d felt since he’d been kicked through that Time Door and began time-slipping. It’s a nervous expression in Pompeii as Loki wreaked havoc on the timeline that turned to irritation, and then turned to affection. It’s a hug on a windswept moor at the end of time before everything went to shit. It’s that first glance when Loki returned from the past, catching the recognition in Mobius’s eyes, the way Loki’s heart sped up in response.
He’d tried to form the words before, as he watched Mobius walk through that Time Door in the void, before Loki time-slipped and almost never saw him again, as they watched the Loom explode the first time. He never had a chance.
His heart is in his throat as, distantly, he hears OB say, “I’m staying.”
That’s three of his friends, far more than he’d expected, far more than perhaps he deserves.
But now it’s Mobius’s turn, his first friend, his dearest, the one he expects will leave, the one who will be the hardest to let go.
“Okay, Mobius,” Sylvie says, though Loki still holds Mobius’s gaze.
“Let Loki do it,” Mobius says.
“I don’t know how.” Loki replies, unable to raise his voice above a whisper.
“Yes, you do,” Mobius says, voice as steady and calm as it always is, tone confident and trusting. Then, he drops his voice to the same volume as Loki’s, though his tone remains the same. “You can do anything.”
You saw something in me that I hadn’t seen in myself. He’s doing it again.
Loki turns to him fully, and Mobius leans forward. Loki places his fingertips to the sides of Mobius’s head and shuts his eyes, recalling Sylvie’s description of the magic. And then he presses into Mobius’s mind and finds the memories the TVA had long locked away from him. He pulls them forward, and they watch them unfold together.
What? This isn’t right. But it has to be; they are the memories that were trapped in Mobius’s mind.
The memories that come forth are not what Loki passed through when he time-slipped along the timeline. How is that possible? Everyone else’s lives were as they remembered. Yet somehow Mobius fell into another place in time, a place that was not his.
His true life along the timeline is far more lonely. He seems happy enough, has friends, dates occasionally, and is satisfied with his job. But he does not have children, never divorced or widowed or even married.
As the memories fade and the magic dissipates, Loki opens his eyes to see Mobius looking at him. He is too overwhelmed by what he has seen– and not seen– to feel anything under Mobius’s stare.
“That’s not how it happened,” Loki says before Mobius can speak. “You… you had children. I saw them.” He looks to Sylvie for help.
“We don’t create memories,” she reminds him. “Whatever you saw in his head is his true past.”
“But he had sons.” He looks back to Mobius. “You had two sons. You were raising them by yourself. You were reluctant to leave them.” Two boys couldn’t just disappear from existence. Not without being pruned. Could they?
Mobius looks thoughtful for a moment. “Maybe if you showed me your memories, we could figure out what happened.”
Loki nods, moving his hands back to Mobius’s temples. He shows Mobius the children, Kevin and Sean. He recalls their blond hair, the matches and burnt action figure and Kevin claiming he stole the matches. He remembers Mobius bribing the other boy, Sean, with a puppy, remembers Sean insisting on a snake. He’s startled out of the memories by Mobius, laughing.
“Why are you laughing?” Loki asks. He looks at Mobius, and realizes he’s red.
“You didn’t notice?” He says. “Loki, they’re light-haired. They look like me, but… one of them is mischievous and plays with dangerous things, and the other likes snakes.”
Suddenly, B-15 and Sylvie start laughing, too. Loki glances at them, startled, and realizes OB and Casey are wearing surprised smiles.
“What?” Loki asks them. “I don’t understand.”
“Mobius’s children are carbon copies of their parents,” B-15 explains. “They are identical to one parent in appearance, and one in personality.”
“It’s a classic trope in animated children’s movies,” OB adds. “Saves time for the artists, even if it’s not exactly realistic.”
Sylvie crosses her arms. “Come on, Loki.” She encourages. “Use that mischievous brain of yours.”
Oh. Oh, Norns. It strikes Loki like a flash of his brother’s lightning. He whips back around to stare at Mobius, who has somehow turned even redder as their friends laugh around them.
“You made them up.” Loki accuses. Mobius inclines his head. “How is that possible? How did they become real?”
“I don’t know,” Mobius says.
“Are they still real?”
“I don’t know,” he says again. “But you saved the multiverse, so if they are, I’m sure that me is back with them.”
“Oh my God, Loki, you’re missing the point!” OB shouts gleefully.
“I’m not, I’m waiting for you lot to go away,” Loki snaps, but he must look as dazed as he feels when he turns to look at them all, because they all laugh again. A bubbly joy rolls up in his chest at the sound, and he can’t find it in him to be angry or annoyed with these meddlers. His friends are alive, and they’re all staying here with him (except perhaps Sylvie, but he knows where to find her, and Mobius hasn’t given his answer yet, but it’s becoming increasingly obvious what they all think his answer will be). He has friends.
“Aw, come on, we’ve been waiting for this forever!” Casey teases. Loki turns to snarl at him, but Mobius chooses that moment to put his hand on Loki’s leg, and every thought in Loki’s mind vanishes.
“Give them a moment, there will be plenty of time to tease them later,” B-15 says reasonably, standing up. Casey grumbles, but he and OB follow her.
Sylvie rolls her eyes at Loki and Mobius. “Like a couple of children with their first crush, I swear,” she mutters, which is just not fair. Loki didn’t manifest a fantasy about his and Mobius's imaginary children somehow strong enough to supersede his real past.
When the door shuts behind her, Loki turns back to Mobius, who is still watching him.
“What do you want, Loki?” he asks, an echo of his earlier question. His eyes are gentle as he gazes at Loki, and Loki feels every wall he built around his heart from the moment he bore witness to Mobius's (imagined) past to protect himself against this point, crumble to dust.
“I want you to stay.” Loki whispers, hearing his voice shake. “I don’t want to have to say good-bye to you.”
Mobius smiles. He reaches out, cradles Loki’s face in his hands, and kisses him. Loki presses closer, clutching the lapels of Mobius’s jacket, and kisses back.
“I love you,” Loki whispers, kissing Mobius again and again.
“I love you, too,” Mobius responds. “I’m sorry that there was ever any moment, or ever a version of me, that made you think I wasn’t going to stay. That made you think I didn’t love you.”

Loki S2E4:
Oooh, maybe Victor Timely is the guy who pruned Loki in episode one. Or, maybe it was his episode four self. Either way, something tells me we're about to find out.
Whoa, Miss Minutes keeps surprising me.
Also. More of Hunter Renslayer, ooh.
"See you soon" is literally this man's catchphrase.
WHOA, THAT'S A BETRAYAL. Not that I didn't expect it, but wow. Gotta say, Miss Minutes is right, though. Clearly, he didn't really do much.
Alright, let's see what Victor's gonna fuck up.
Who left this man alone after he went through the TimeDoor??
Okay, can't blame him for the crisis though. Not after last episode.
"Your words changed me" is the single most powerful phrase ever. I don't even remember this lady's name, but I like her.
O.B. and Victor complimenting each other and O.B. slowly realizing who he's talking to is the funniest thing ever. He's fanboying over him the way Casey was fanboying over him.
Also, the fact that Sylvie stuck around is pretty neat.
MOBIUS 😂
My man really does not want to go out in the suit again, and Loki's his scapegoat. They are such a married couple.
SYLVIE, STOP ADDING FUEL TO HIS REPRESSED EMOTIONS. LEAVE HIM ALONE.
Brad, what the fuck.
Hah, get called out. You're out of friends.
D-90 and B-15 just stepped into the wolves' den 👀
Not Brad grabbing his collar the same way he grabbed the straps of his uniform in episode one.
Lmao, D-90 getting told to go help Mobius- and just Mobius- watch Victor. Alone time with him oughta be awkward.
Loki defending Mobius 😭❤
"What if you are wrong to believe that this place can be any better? What if I was wrong to spare him? It would be easier to burn this place down and start from scratch." Yes, but as Loki tried to tell you, it's harder to take the difficult path- and, oftentimes, the difficult path is the right one. Nothing that's right is ever easy.
^^^^ "Trying to fix what's broken is hard."
Ahhh, I see you coming around.
Sylvie does have a point, though- it'll be dangerous letting Timely go after this.
"We are gods." drops mic
Wait, you guys didn't try the pie.
Dammit, Renslayer.
OH NO. SHE'S GOING TO KILL THEM ALL.
HOLY SHIT.
That was so horrifying wtf.
At least Brad seems to be having regrets already.
Whatever you do, DON'T LOSE HIM, D-90.
Just. This scene with D-90 and Victor. It's funny and sweet, and I love it-
WAIT, NO. BRAD, WHY.
COME BACK, D.
There's something very significant about D-90 getting pruned exactly one season after pruning Mobius, and I don't know how I feel about it.
Everything is going wrong.
And now they're gonna think Timely kill D-90. Nice.
Well, at least B-15's smart enough to know it was Renslayer.
I can't decide if Victor's a great actor or a terrible one. 😂
"There's still time." Hello, past Loki, you have no idea what our poor present folks are going through right now.
I still want to know why that phone's ringing.
Ah, so Loki literally did prune himself. This moment is like watching Harry save himself in Prisoner of Azkaban.
The look on Sylvie's face Lmao 🤣
ANSWER THE PHONE.
Bet it's Renslayer. Oh. Nvm.
CASEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING.
Miss Minutes glitching into oblivion is the most satisfying thing ever.
Okay, now that Brad's exposed, someone please prune him. He's expendable.
Oooh, the systems being offline means that magic works in the TVA. 👀
THEY ENCHANTED HIM. 😂
RAVONNA'S BEEN PRUNED.
IT ACTUALLY WORKED, AYYYY.
Okay, is Victor doing this out of the goodness of his heart or does he actually have some sinister plot? Is he about to die?
THIS IS THE SAME MUSIC THAT PLAYED BEFORE THEY FOUGHT ALIOTH LAST SEASON.
I am having a fucking blast with this.
WHOA.
FUCKING RIP.
THAT IS NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING.
Thank god it wasn't Mobius or Loki.
SHIT, IT EXPODED.
AND THERE'S THE MUSIC THAT PLAYED AFTER MOBIUS GOT PRUNED.
I HATE CLIFFHANGERS. 😭

To the friend who has everything
Book: Open Heart (post series)
Characters: Ethan Ramsey, Tobias Carrick
Warnings: none
Rating: General audiences
Category: fluff
Word count: 512
Summary: a look at some of the experiences that Ethan and Tobias gift each other over the years
Disclaimer: characters belong to Pixelberry
Authors note: this comes from a Totally Tobias week about Tobias and cars and in my answer I stated that Tobias and Ethan gifted each other experiences of driving cars they would not normally drive. So this is the fic, I was going to do edits and a fic but I am not in the mood to argue technology so a fic it is.
🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗
It was a few months out from Ethan’s wedding. Casey had got him to agree to a combined bucks/hens weekend but what do to for the male activity. Tobias had been to a few strip clubs in his younger years, more out of curiosity than anything but now as he was getting older it was not exactly his scene. Sure the women were beautiful and there was rules in place to ensure they were respected but it did not sit right with him.
Then Tobias vaguely remembered a chat that he and Ethan had many moons ago in their Hopkins days, pre Estelle where they discussed which cars they wish they could drive. The usuals were there, Aston Martin’s, Ferrari’s but they also discussed race cars also. Tobias did a search and found a track in Vegas that allowed not only a ride along but also for them to drive. Tobias booked it in for the Saturday.
Ethan was curious to find out what Tobias had planned for the day. He would have been more than happy to stay in bed with Casey but he went so when they boys pulled up at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
“We have a ride and if we wish, we get to drive a NASCAR car.” Said Tobias “Happy Bachelor weekend.”
The boys had a great time. All but Elijah drove as well. Over a late lunch Ethan asked Tobias, why driving. Tobias stated he remembered a snippet of conversation back in their Hopkins days when he was trying to decide on the activity for today. Tobias also stated he is glad he did as it was much more fun than he thought it would be. Ethan agreed. As they headed back to the hotel Ethan thought of other driving experiences he could do.
In the September of that year, after the excitement of the wedding and and honeymoon and the shock of Casey’s missed miscarriage had died down, Ethan wanted to show his appreciation for the support Tobias showed him and Casey.
He remembered how much he enjoyed the NASCAR experience in Vegas. He thought maybe a more classic car this time around. He did a search and found a company just out of Boston that allowed people to drive classic cars. You could book your car at the time of booking and Ethan was excited that there were two Aston Martin DB5’s available.
The day came and all Tobias knew is that there was driving involved. Needless to say when Tobias was handed the keys to a DB5 after the orientation he was surprised. Both men enjoyed the drive. It was everything they ever hoped it would be.
They had lunch after. Tobias did not think that experience would not be topped and to be honest, neither did Ethan. Both men deciding that every so often, not necessarily a birthday they would tick cars off their car bucket list. Both men were excited by this and knew that they would have many happy memories of their renewed friendship to look back on.
——
Authors note: very short and very sweet but who does not love Ethan and Tobias being besties content?
So I made a change, initially it was going to be milestone birthdays but then realized that when they were 40 (in 2022) they were friends again but had too much Leland fallout still happening. So I changed it. Their last Car experience is Tobias 60th. They run out of cars a bit but also they are starting to worry about not enjoying the experience of the driving as much. I know these men at 60 will be pretty damn healthy but they feel ending it there is great.
Thanks elsa for the Totally Tobias Tuesday that inspired this fic- sorry it took me awhile to get to it.

Casey is lost.
It’s tragic to realize that the original timeline was supposed to truly end with everyone dying on their own by sacrificing themselves to protect what’s left of their home planet.
Despite the low numbers and chances of survival from this whole experience, the brothers did not care and still kept trying to live until their last breaths.
Because of this movie, we come to find out that all the funny shenanigans and good memories that the Hamato family experienced were for it to all end in tragedy and loneliness.
It’s strange to think that THIS was in actuality the original timeline (and demise) for the turtles. Because it’s a bit hard to believe that they had created so many memories together during missions that they finally can’t complete one. And yet, it’s the most realistic ending for these four.
With so many good things happening to you, you’re bound to receive some bad ones later on. Yes, the turtles had a long life and managed to get so many adventures before it all came crashing down on them. And maybe that’s fine. Maybe that’s acceptable. They died in tragedy but a good sleep will do them good.
Not to mention that it’s quite ironic and poetic that all of those horrific tragedies happened because of Leo’s cockiness.
It all started with Leo. And it ended with Leo.
There is a reoccurring theme in the movie that keeps on supporting Leo no matter what action he presses on the team to do.
And that is the theme of time.
Throughout the movie, there was a repeated conversation about the same topic going on between Leo and Donnie that introduces the idea that no matter how a situation may look impossible, anything is possible. Donnie seems to reject that way of thinking while Leo completely adopts it. We have Donnie explaining why this belief of his brother is deeply flawed based on the reality of things and how not everything just coincidentally goes according to him.
This theme took place in two scenes.
The first was right in the beginning with the pizza box challenge and the second was when they were about to sneak into Krang’s ship.
But it looks like whatever type of danger was thrown at the family, it seems like Leo’s perseverance and unbelievable luck were right all along while Donnie’s logic and realistic views were mistaken.
Or as Leo delicately puts it:
“Donnie’s WRONG!”
Yeah, sure everything went fine after Leo put Krang back in the prison dimension but this success means that a new timeline has been added to the original one.
Saving the world before Krang could have had access to his army meant that the timeline split itself and now has a second-time branch.
This not only reinforces the fact that rise!tmnt is inconspicuously darker than it intends to be, but it also means something big for Casey.
He’ll never actually see his timeline again.
He’ll never see his masters and his mother.
And he’ll never know what happened to the rest of his comrades who were fighting before Casey entered the portal made by Mikey.
Your choices are what shape you as a person over time. Now that the events of the past have been altered, it’s highly likely that the Hamato family will not act the same way Casey once knew them as.
Just because Casey knows these people, that doesn’t mean they’ll grow up to act the same way they did in his timeline.
Even though everyone had a happy ending, Casey is, unfortunately, the only one who doesn’t have one whether he realizes it or not. His friends and family aren’t there. They were long gone in a future that has been unwillingly abandoned by him.
He would literally never see the people he cares about ever again.
Casey might not even meet himself in this timeline.
It is unclear who his father could be but the chances of Cassandra meeting him again without the apocalypse could be very thin.
The krang invasion is what brought people from everywhere together. This is where she must’ve met him and had Casey. So since the krang’s attack never happened in this timeline, Cassandra might never meet Casey’s father and have him.
Leo was so caught up in the events of the potential threat of the Krang invasion that he, along with everyone else, did not think about the consequences that it would bring.
Everything comes with a price.
Whether they won or lost the battle, there would always be good things and bad things trailing their actions.
This is one of them.
Defeating the Krang before the invasion could happen has likely made sure that Casey won’t exist in this timeline.
Sure, the Casey from the timeline where they lost against the Krang can still live in the second timeline. But he’ll be aware that he’ll never exist in this one. In a timeline where people don’t have to live in caves, don’t have to eat rats for every meal of the day, don’t have to constantly hide in fear of getting killed, don’t have to listen to horrifying stories about the invaders, and don’t have to hear the cries and wailing of the people who lost their loved ones during missions.
His existence never belonged in a happy carefree one.
“Our future isn’t written until WE write it!”
Leo’s quote may be the cruellest thing Casey has ever heard.
Can you imagine being in one of the turtles’ shoes?? Like they have to eat rats for dinner that’s like trying to eat your dad’s ancestry. And they eat that for EVERY SINGLE MEAL for the rest of their lives??? Who even decided that they should all eat rats?!!!?!

Hi Renee! It's nice ask week! You make such gorgeous gif sets - what's the one that your the proudest of making?
rae! thank you so much for sending this!
this is difficult to answer! and it makes me realize that I'm proud of gifs for different reasons, so I'm going to give a few answers. I hope that's okay!
when it comes to level of skill, I'm proud of this Nick/Charlie and Fearless (Taylor's Version) set that uses the cassette tape animation. this one took some time, not just because of the animation, but because of figuring out the lyrics and which scenes to choose that would work with the yellow color scheme I wanted to use. the second to last gif in this set gave me the hardest time with that, but I really like how the entire thing turned out!
when it comes to layout and scene selection, I'm really proud of how my Olivia Rodrigo GUTS set turned out. this is another one where planning was key. I knew I wanted to include all the songs and that I wanted to work with the music videos that we had from GUTS, which meant I was just working with vampire and bad idea, right? I'm still surprised I managed to pick 13 different moments from 2 videos that all make sense with the songs I paired them with. I also really like how I ended up alternating the coloring for this set! that was actually born out of me getting frustrated with the coloring for some scenes and not wanting to deal with it lol. so I made them black and white or purple instead.
when it comes to sets I just had fun making, this set for Alex to all american bitch is one I'm proud of! I got the idea for this one after Casey posted on insta stories that this song was for Alex. this set went through a few different iterations in my head, in particular when it came to how to split up the lyrics and how many gifs it would be in total. there were versions where it was 6 or 7 gifs but I ended up with 9 by splitting up "I"m a perfect all american bitch/with perfect all american lips/and perfect all american hips." I loved working with the bi colors and it was so satisfying when the overlays worked out! that's something I don't plan in advance. I just hope the scenes I want work out, and they did for the most part!
and I'll end with two of my most recent sets: the David/Patrick relationship dynamic set and my Dan and Phil Games set. I'm just generally proud of how they turned out, but as I was making them, I was also reminded of how much I love this show and this gaming channel, and I'm so happy I get to make gifs of them!

PROFESSIONAL COURTESY
SEASON ONE, EPISODE THREE
Full series
Tumblr media
MELISSA GOT HERSELF some coffee because it was the only way she could get through the last two hours of her shift. It was getting late. Hermann and Mouch were watching The Fresh Prince until the tv stopped working.
Peter walked in and looked at the clock. "Two hours left in the shift and no calls yet." The other three turned to look at him in disbelief. "That happen very often?"
"No freaking way," Melissa muttered, putting the coffee mug down.
"He did not just say that," Hermann added, annoyed. A moment later, the alarm went off. And Peter would learn not to make that comment again, especially after Casey scolded him.
Upon arriving at the scene, they could see immediately how serious the situation was. Two cars had collided, and one was about to fall off the bridge to the road below.
The firefighters jumped in immediately, and the paramedics got ready.
They had to stabilize the car. Melissa went to the other vehicle and got the door open. She got the driver out. He insisted that he was okay, but he was clearly drunk.
Melissa could smell the booze, and he had cans in the passenger seat. The officer told her he'd take care of it before Melissa joined her fellow firefighters. The car was going down, and she rushed over to help them stabilize it.
Squad arrived just then, and they had more hands, which helped.
They worked together to stabilize the car and keep the son and father calm. They would get them out through the windshield because it would be easier.
Melissa stepped back after the vehicle was stabilized and looked over at the other driver, only to see that he was gone. He wasn't at the scene. "Lieutenant," she called over to Casey.
The two approached the officer, who was standing by the drunk driver's car alone.
"Where's the driver?" Casey asked the officer.
The officer turned to them. "Uh, some officers took him to the hospital."
"You're kidding." Casey took his helmet off.
"No, he was complaining of leg pain, and you guys looked swamped over there, so..." he trailed off.
Melissa couldn't help but roll her eyes. Casey was annoyed as well, going out on the officer. "He should have been c-collared and transported properly."
The officer nodded. "My bad."
Melissa looked inside the car and was surprised to see it empty. She turned to the officer again. "There were empty beer cans on the passenger seat. They're gone. Did you bag them?"
The officer sighed. "Look... detective Voight behind me, the guy in the jacket, that was his son driving this car." He walked away.
Melissa and Casey looked over at this detective, who, after a moment, looked at them. They made eye contact with the man whose son almost killed two people.
"Unbelievable," Melissa muttered, annoyed under her breath. It was not a good night.
꧁ ꧂
THE FIREFIGHTERS sat in the kitchen area, enjoying lunch the following day. They were talking about their tv, which had malfunctioned the previous night.
Cruz pointed at the tv with his fork. "That ain't gonna cut it."
"The sign's out front," Mouch stated. "Just a matter of time till a good samaritan steps up."
"We can do that?" Peter asked. Asking people for a tv didn't sound legal or right.
"Oh, yeah. It's frowned upon, but it's not illegal, per standards and procedures." Mouch was flipping through the paper. "Last year we got the new— what was it?"
"Microwave," Hermann answered.
"We got the new microwave by doing this."
"It took three months to get the new microwave," Cruz pointed out. "The Bears game is this Sunday."
"What do we got in the treasury box?" Casey asked.
"Dick," Hermann deadpanned. "We spent it all on the elliptical machine so Shay could keep her ass toned."
"Oh, Hermann, please. Everyone benefits from me having a toned ass," Shay shot back, earning some chuckles.
Casey turned to Peter. "Mills, you're in charge of a fundraiser for a new tv."
"Instead of cooking?"
"In conjunction with cooking."
Otis then spoke up. "I believe it's called multitasking. Can you get some ideas together ASAP?"
Casey was called over by Gabby, and the two left. The others continued the conversation. They had to find a way to get enough money for a tv.
Peter came up with some ideas. He stood in front of everyone. "Neighborhood hot dog eating contest."
"Nah. Too tacky," Mouch said.
Shay looked over at him from the table. "And putting a sign out front begging for a tv is what?" This was followed by Melissa and Otis telling Mouch she had a point.
Peter continued, ignoring their teasing and bantering. "Okay, how about a t-shirt booth in the driveway?"
Cruz was the one to protest the idea. "We already sold t-shirts."
"Yeah, but, I mean, no one can ever find the key to the cabinet, Hermann never has change in the treasury box. It's a pain in the ass."
Melissa then spoke up in agreement with Peter. She liked his idea. "If selling t-shirts worked before, why not?"
Peter quickly thanked her for agreeing with him before continuing. "We put the shirts out front and display them properly."
Mouch was skeptical. "I don't know how that's going to generate enough money."
"We get Nicki to man the booth," Melissa replied, and Hermann and Cruz agreed. This could work.
"Why don't you put her in a bikini while you're at it?" Shay retorted.
Otis looked at her from across the round table. "Now, before I respond, are you joking or serious?" He leaned in when asking the question.
"About as serious as putting you in a bikini."
"That's what I thought. So, yes, a bikini would be ridiculous, and we get the joke."
Melissa saw Casey walk in as the rest laughed at Otis. "What do you think, lieutenant? T-shirt stand?"
"Or should we have Mills here run a few laps around the block and think about some alternatives?" Otis added.
Casey didn't answer the question; instead, he decided they were going to do a drill.
꧁   ꧂
THE KID FROM THE accident was paralyzed from the waist down. That was what Casey was telling Melissa before Mouch cut the conversation short.
They all met outside because some cop from the 35th district donated a tv to them.
Two cops brought the tv out. It was big and much better than the one they had. The firefighters got excited when they saw it.
"Who's it from?" Casey didn't waste any time.
"Detective Voight," one of the cops said. Melissa couldn't help but tense up when she heard the name. "He saw your sign."
"Is that a 40-inch?" Otis asked.
"A 43."
"Oh, goddamn," he chuckled.
"Take it back," Casey ordered. He wasn't as excited by the tv as the others were. And neither was Melissa. They knew things about Voight that the rest didn't, and therefore they didn't want to take the tv he donated.
The excitement faltered a little. "No, no, no, don't worry. Voight went through all the channels and had it donated to the city but specified that it come here so the Bureau bitches aren't gonna freak out," the cop tried to assure them, but it didn't work.
"Send it back."
Everyone was confused by this. Why was Casey turning this tv away? Even the cops were confused, but they didn't protest. "Sure. You got it."
꧁ ꧂
"ANTONIO IS LOOKING into it," Casey told Melissa, his voice low. They were getting coffee.
Melissa let out a sigh. She felt sorry for the kid. "I wish there was something we could do."
"Tell me about it."
"I didn't know your side job was a restaurant business, Mills," Hermann said as he walked into the kitchen. He leaned on the counter.
Peter was cooking. "For now. Phasing that out, though."
"I think you're the only food-related side job we got in here, 'cause let's see, we got security guard, construction..." Hermann trailed off. He looked at Melissa. "Sunshine over here makes and sells candles, but that's not really a job. It's more of a hobby."
Melissa shot him a look. "That I earn money from. And you said you liked the candle I got you."
"I did. I was just making a point."
"And when are you getting there?"
Hermann shot her a sarcastic smile, which she returned. "What about you?" Peter asked, cutting their bantering short.
"General entrepreneurship," Hermann replied. "I was doing pretty good as a day trader, you know, until all the trolls jumped onboard and, you know, capsized it for guys like me. You know, it's funny that you bring it up, Peter Mills, because I'm actually circling an investment opportunity that could be massive. You know, and I might let you guys get it on it."
Hermann looked over at the other people in the room. "Well, what is it?" Cruz asked. He was playing cards with Vargas.
"Nah. You guys are gonna have to wait 'cause, you know, I..." Hermann started pretending he didn't want to tell them, but the act didn't hold up long. "Okay, fine. Two words... energy water."
Cruz laughed when he heard Hermann's idea, and Vargas uttered under his breath, "are you kidding me?"
"Greg Duffy?" Nicki walked in. The name earned Casey's attention. "I guess he was in a car accident the other day that you guys responded to?"
"Yeah," Casey answered. "What about him?"
"He's outside."
The firefighters on truck followed their lieutenant outside, where Greg stood.
The lieutenant shook his hand. "Sir."
"Sorry to barge in on you like this, but my wife made this for you guys." Greg gestured to the cake on the squad table. "We really appreciate what you did. And we know damn well it could have been worse if the car had tipped over. So... thank you."
"How's your son?"
"Yeah. Well, you know, Mikey's got a tough road ahead of him, but we're going to make it. We're gonna be all right." Greg paused before continuing. "The other reason I came here is, I don't know if there's anything you guys do in terms of what you saw or piece together based on what the accident scene looked like, but the police report came back saying I ran a red light, causing the accident. And that's— that's not what happened."
Melissa felt her heart drop at Greg's words. He was getting blamed for an accident caused by a drunk driver, who happened to be a detective's son. She looked at her lieutenant, and he had the same reaction as she did.
This family didn't deserve to go through this.
"And I'm kind of at a loss in terms of how to fight it."
After Greg left, Melissa met up in Boden's office with Casey.
"I pulled him out of the car," Melissa explained to the chief. "I could smell the alcohol on his breath. The slurred speech, the empty beer cans." She looked at Boden. "I'm a witness."
Boden felt this could come back and haunt her later and was hesitant. But he knew that Melissa wanted to do the right thing no matter what. She wouldn't listen. Casey knew that too.
The chief handed her a piece of paper and told her to write what she saw. About the driver being drunk and the beer cans. And she did. She wrote everything down. She signed the paper, as did Casey.
Melissa stood, and Boden shook her hand. She was doing the right thing, and it made him proud.
꧁ ꧂
THE FIREFIGHTERS stood in the kitchen the following day. Mouch was counting the money they had earned. "344 dollars."
"444 dollars," Melissa said, handing him a hundred-dollar bill.
Casey then walked up to them. "We found a 32-inch over in Roscoe Village," Hermann explained. "The guy says it's barely been used."
Casey looked at the cake that Greg had bought the previous day. It wasn't much left, but it gave him an idea.
"I got a better idea."
Casey planned to build a ramp outside Greg's house for his son. They all liked the idea very much. It was so much better than getting a tv.
Greg and his wife stood in the yard and watched the firefighters work. Melissa and Peter were planting flowers to make it look better, and the others were building the ramp.
After they finished the ramp and cleaned up, Peter suggested they'd go to his family's diner to watch the game.
They were greeted with hugs by his mother, who owned the place. And they met Peter's sister, Elise.
Melissa sat in the booth with a beer in her hand. She sat beside Peter, with Casey and Hermann on the opposite side. They turned their attention to the tv and enjoyed the game.
That was until Melissa and Casey saw Voight slowly drive by. His gaze was set on them, and they knew whatever was coming next wasn't good.

🦄💓Best Friends Forever AU💓🦄
"Wowza wow, Cutie! How's the finger with that boulder riding up top?" Ophelia jeered, grasping her friend's hand and rotating the engagement ring under the light. The Draconequus admired the flashes of glittering light bouncing off of the gem nestled atop Cutie Pie's ring.
Cutie Pie giggled and blushed with slight embarrassment, allowing her best friend to gawk at her newly acquired engagement ring. She'd dated her high-school sweetheart Casey Applebuck for many years now, and he had finally popped the question. The Earth Pony beamed with pure happiness and excitement, just imagining her future wedding with her longtime lover.
Cutie Pie ran her very own wedding cake shop alongside her mother Pinkie Pie. While Cutie took care of the more elaborate and delicate cakes for special moments, her mother produced the more lighthearted and fun delicacies; cupcakes, kids cake, donuts, pastries, etc. The two were becoming famous on the bakery scene. Cutie Pie's life just kept getting better and better.
"He popped the question last night," the pony gushed, "over such a romantic, candlelit picnic in the orchard. Everything was just... perfect," Cutie Pie swooned, slipping her hand away from Ophelia and spinning on her hooves. She was so in love with this country bumpkin of a stallion.
Ophelia rolled her eyes and gagged in good fun, catching Cutie Pie in her arms as she spun and dipped her down low playfully. "Give me more details, Cutie! I'm dying to know!" Ophelia hissed, picking her friend back up to her hooves, her tail wagging. Ophelia adored a perfect love story, even though she acted disgusted with the thought of butterflies in one's tummy.
Cutie Pie's smile was contagious, her beautiful cheeks blushed a fine pink and a sparkle in her baby blue eyes. "Oh Ophie, I don't think I'm ready to share yet," she cooed nervously, "I'd like to keep this memory private and special, just for a bit longer; you understand, right?" Cutie grasped her friend's hands within hers, squeezing them lovingly and gazing into her eyes. "Remember how you and Retro disappeared for a week? You had everyone worried sick!"
Ophelia clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes. "That was totally not the same. Those moments were just meant for us! You wouldn't even believe what went down between that wild stallion and I!" Cutie Pie giggled and just rolled her eyes.
The Draconequus grinned sheepishly, her long tail still swaying behind her. "... We definitely get to be the wedding singers, right?" Ophie asked.
"Of course you do! Don't be silly! We run a wedding shop together!" Cutie cried out, punching Oph's arm. "Now come on, maybe I'll divulge just a few tiny details of last night to you if you help me finish this cake for Celestia."
💕🐉💕
While Cutie Pie runs the bakery half of her wedding shop/venue alongside her mother, Ophelia Sparkle handles other merchants duties within the shop, like selling wedding dresses, tuxedos, aids in fittings, as well as advertising her wedding singing services to new couples.
The band is composed of herself, her husband Retro Dash, Nessa Mae, and Sir Celestine. Though the band can get a bit rowdy at times, playing more rock style songs later into the night, they're a highly sought after group for weddings. Every pony loves having a Demigod perform for their wedding!
Cutie Pie on the other hand handles her wedding cake business with pride. Her best selling cake made with the freshest apples from Sweet Apple Acres. (She knows a guy! Wink wink!)
💕🐉💕
Yeaaaah. I finally finished this piece like... 3 years later. Sorry about that ;; I'm trying to finish older stuff before I start many more new things. Sorry if the art looks old, it's been done for AGES, I just needed to color and render it ❤️
Let me know if you have any particular scenes you'd like to see within this AU, particularly with Oph and Cutie Pie's untainted friendship, as this is what the AU revolves around 💛

My thoughts as I’m watching 24 seasons of law & order svu:
Season 12
I needed a bit of a break after binging 11 seasons. So, back to this. 12x01, dude seriously asking Stabler if Benson is single. As if Stabler actually would give him the go ahead. Bailee’s apology was really heartfelt there… what I really want to know, is what happened with Bailee’s character after this episode. Did she stay? Was she ever happy? Guess we’ll never know…
12x02, I want to know how they got the kid to talk. Benson and Stabler walking away from Henry Ian Cusick, rolling their eyes, is one of my new favorites. There was no need for the two of them to be that close together after they cleared all the perps, but I appreciate that they are. Well, Henry being the good guy was too good to be true. So we have both of Kabby being rapists on SVU.
12x03, Stabler calling out the perp for not washing his hands after using the urinal is a small but important thing for me. Not sure how I feel about the stalking of the perp. So did this episode inspire Mariska to talk about the backlog issue, or was it the other way around? Yay on judge Donnelly being back.
12x04, I always like a good excuse for TV shows having to change up sets, so bursting pipes are fun. Stabler looks so happy when he gets to be a special debuty U.S. Marshal. Finally got to the scene with Benson pointing her gun out of the moving car and Stabler pulling her back in. How did they get their badges back? They left it at the U.S. Attorney’s office…
12x05, I like the characters grappling with the new set. Also, Munch in a uniform is fine. Olivia on shrooms is great! First Stabler saves Benson's hair from being cut, and then he catches her when she faints, go Stabler! And yet again, no Stabler at Liv's bedside in the hospital. Stabler pretending to be high makes the whole episode even greater.
12x07, Benson and Stabler just ignoring Cragen's order to see Huang as always, until they eventually cave. I liked Stabler talking Benson down, when she thought Bello’s character was her half-sister. Entrance of Clavin.
12x08, well, that beginning was eerie. Dana is back, that’s not gonna end well for Stabler. And he got shot. Actually the first time this season he got injured. At least Benson is there to make him feel better. Poor Dana, that court scene was really well acted.
12x09, Paxton is back! Did not expect Paxton to be in the bed, assumed it would be Benson, this makes it better. Stabler looks so smug when Fin is talking about the penis pump. Stabler is terrible to Paxton in this ep.
12x10, the ADA was right, saying that partners can be closer than married couples. Bello is back. Love that Stabler would have backed Olivia up, if she went against her obligation in order to keep Calvin. The last scene started cute with Benson, Stabler and Calvin. Elliot trying to hold Olivia back and Calvin being taken away was sad though.
12x11, Tucker has it out for Stabler again. Sometimes Benson is not a good influence on Stabler.
12x13, Stabler going UC as sex addict, that’s all. Stabler never even denied that Olivia was his girlfriend, just saying. And he only got slightly injured here.
12x15, Munch and Fin eavesdropping with the spy tech is actually funny. And then Liv uses it. Elliot making fun of the perp is quite enjoyable.
12x17, Paxton was killed. At least we got a Stabler/Benson hug out of it.
12x19, Benson and Stabler undercover as a married couple, doesn't get much better than that.
12x21, Casey is back, literally out of nowhere.
12x22, John Stamos as Ken is just creepy. Props though, for accusing Elliot of wanting to get Olivia pregnant. Just logistically, how can he afford child care for 47 kids?!? Domestic Benson and Stabler with the dinner scene was cute.
12x23, poor Elliot. Here comes Tucker… communication in the Stabler marriage seems to be working.
12x24, loved the last shot of Elliot and Olivia looking at each other, whilst everyone else hustled. Absolutely hate, that it’s gonna take another 10 seasons until Stabler comes back.
Familiar faces: Joan Cusack (Runaway Bride), Bailee Madison (Just Go With It), Henry Ian Cusick (the 100), Stephen Tobolowsky (Glee), Jennifer Love Hewitt (9-1-1), Melissa Benoist (Glee), David Krumholtz (The Santa Clause), Amanda Fuller (Grey‘s), Maria Bello (NCIS), Debra Messing (Will&Grace), Kate Burton (Grey‘s), Mika Brzezinski, Rose McGowan (Charmed), Elizabeth Mitchell (again, OUAT), John Stamos and Rita Wilson.
Favorite episodes: 12x04, 12x05, 12x08, 12x12 and12x15
Favorite lines:
"I got a lullaby" (meaning alibi) - perp in 12x05
"I’m hot. I’m wet." - Elliot Stabler everyone 12x05
"I’m not the one who stabbed the captain with a pickle!" - Benson 12x05
"Well, Liv, make a decision. Your call." -Stabler to Benson (about taking Bello in, or keeping Calvin) 12x10
"Fin may have your six, but he’s definitely not me." "No, I’m better. I actually watch her back, and not her backside." -Stabler and Fin 12x17
"You’re an idiot." - Stabler to Tucker 12x23

————————————————————————
San Antonio, Texas - Gutierrez Family Barn - March 12th, 2023
Casey adjusted his tie and sighed. He, Darius, Kenji, and Ben were sitting in the chairs that were set in rows in the barn. It was Yaz and Sammy’s wedding.
“Man…I totally bet Sammy’s scared shitless..” Kenji whispered.
Casey chuckled quietly and turned on his walkie. “Brooklynn? What’s taking so long??”
“We’re fine!” Brooklynn’s voice replied. “We’re just dealing with some bridal stress relief right now.”
He could hear Sammy hyperventilating and her sisters trying to calm her down. “Quick, calm her down and get ready. Yaz is sweating profusely from where I can see!”
“Okay, okay, calm down.”
The walkie shut off and Casey sighed. Darius smiled and said, “Can you believe it? Yaz and Sammy are getting married.”
“Yeah, we kinda knew this would happen.” Ben replied. “I just wish Bumpy were here.”
“You can tell her about it when you visit Isla Mantah again.”
“Thanks, D.”
Suddenly, the piano music came and the audience stood up.
“Finally!” Casey whispered.
Brooklynn, April, and Sammy’s sisters made it to the altar and Mr. Gutierrez walking Sammy down the isle. Yaz was so happy and giggled.
After what seems like an eternity, Bessie (the cow) came with the rings and Yaz and Sammy got their rings on each finger. With that, the pastor said, “Now, with the power invested in me, I now pronounce you both married partners for life. You may kiss the bride.”
The pastor stepped back and Sammy pulled Yaz in for a passionate kiss and hugged her tight. The audience erupted into cheer and laughter and the pastor loudly announced, “I now introduce Samantha and Yasmina Gutierrez!”
Casey clapped and April waved at him. With that, Ms. Fadoula burst into tears and wailed, “My baby’s married now!!”
Yaz smiled at her new wife and said, “Hi, Mrs. Gutierrez.”
Three Months Later - Costa Rica
Casey finally placed the last piece of science down and stretched. “Man, that was the last piece of sodium placed and now…quitting time for the day.”
April sat down and said, “Hey, hon.”
She planted a kiss on his cheek and Casey returned the favor with a peck on her lips. April giggled gleefully and said, “We gotta meet up with the others for that picnic that Yaz and Sammy planned with us after their honeymoon.”
“Yeah, I know, April. Sammy reminded us twelve times.” Casey chuckled.
“Yeah…”
The two proceeded to exit the lab part of the house and Caroline smiled. “Took you two long enough.”
“Mom…” Casey chuckled.
“How about I go get ready and we head on over to the park?” April asked.
“Sure, babe.”
April pecked Casey’s lips and left the room. Caroline smiled and asked, “Casey, what is it?”
Casey chuckled and looked at his mother. “Mom…I’m gonna plan to ask April to marry me!”
Caroline covered her mouth keep her screaming from joy and hugged him. “Casey! I have been wanting this moment to happen ever since you first introduced me to her!”
“You okay?” April’s voice called.
“Nothing!”
Caroline smiled and went to a cabinet in which she took out a small ring box which she opened and showed a silver ring with a beautiful diamond on it. “This was my grandmother’s engagement ring. She hoped that I would eventually use it and then give it to my children…and I now give it to you.”
Casey looked at the beautiful ring and suddenly put it in his pocket as he heard April’s footsteps and she appeared with a basket and her blue skirt well-ironed. “Ready?”
“Yep.” Casey replied.
The two proceeded to leave the house and walked to the Parque Okayama park where the others were sitting on a beach towel over one of the grass fields. Ben waved for the two. “Hey! April and Casey! Over here!”
The couple smiled and sat down. Darius said, “Hey, guys!”
“Hey, Case!” Sammy said.
“Hey, guys!” Casey said. “Sammy, Yaz, how was your honeymoon?”
Yaz laughed gleefully. “We loved it! A honeymoon in Italy was the best day we’ve had since our first kiss! Thanks, Kenji, for paying for all that.”
“I’m just stuck paying the bills.” Kenji chuckled. “It’s the least I can do to make you two ladies happen.”
Sammy chuckled and gazed lovingly at her wife. “And spending that week in Italy with my wife is the best experience I could have.”
“I love you, Sam.” Yaz smiled.
“I love you too, Yaz.”
The two kissed and Brooklynn said, “This was way better than when you spam your flirty stuff on the Discord DMs.”
Yaz playfully chucked a leaf at Brooklynn and the two girls giggled. Sammy wrapped her arms around her wife and said, “Guys! We gotta get eating!”
Kenji pulled out the pizza box and Casey asked, “Is this Papa Johns?”
“Yup.” Kenji replied. “ Aaaaaaannnddd, I forgot a pizza cutter.”
“Oh, honey.” Brooklynn soothed a hand on his shoulder.
“No need.” Casey showed his hand which formed into his raptor claw and cut the pizza in separate slices.
After a while, it nearly became sunset and then Brooklynn asked Kenji, “Hey, Kenj? Should we tell them?”
“Tell us what?” Casey asked. “I mean, Ben and Darius are dating and we were shocked by that, Yaz and Sammy are married, so what’s gonna shock us now?”
Brooklynn showed her right hand which had a shiny little ring and Kenji said, “We’re engaged!”
Sammy squealed and Ben cheered. Yaz clapped her hands and Casey yelled, “Holy shit! Congratulations!”
“Yeah! Congratulations!” April added.
“Awesome! Congrats, bro!” Darius said.
“Y’know, I’m soon to become a Bowman.” Brooklynn replied. “Just thinking about it…”
She squealed like Suzie Q from Jojo. “It makes me blush!”
“This is crazy…” Sammy said. “This all started eight years ago, back on Isla Nublar. We went from strangers, to friends, and eventually family.”
“Yeah…Yeah, we did.” Casey smiled.
“Now look at us. Now we’re-”
“Immortal.” Ben said.
“In-laws.” Brooklynn said.
“Survivors.” April said.
“Celebrities.” Darius said.
“I was gonna say, “Soulmates” and together.” Sammy replied.
“And to think that Sammy would become my wife.” Yaz added.
“And to think that most of us are about to be married.” Darius said.
“Also, it’s June. This is the seventh anniversary of when we escaped Nublar.” Casey said. “Happy Nublar-escape anniversary!!”
“HAPPY NUBLAR-ESCAPE ANNIVERSARY!!!” Everyone said.
Around an hour and a half, the six of the Nublar Seven returned to the hotel and Casey and April walked back to their home.
April chuckled and got her night clothes on. Casey looked in his pocket and got the box with the ring in it. April sat on the bed and said, “It’s nice that the others are staying in Costa Rica for the rest of the week for that anniversary that you made.”
“Yeah.” Casey walked over to her with the ring box behind his back. “Hey, babe. I have a massive question right now. Since Kenji and Brooklynn are engaged now and, well, April…I love you so much and now that Mae has a girlfriend and a lot of things are going good in our lives right now, I wanna make our lives even better than those experiences on Isla Mantah and with TJ, Angel, Rebel, and Firecracker…So, April Turner, will you…” He opened the box in which April gasped. “…marry me?”
“Casey, YES!” April exclaimed.
Casey and April hugged and he slid the ring onto her finger. The two kissed and Caroline walked in. The scientist smiled and asked her son, “So, what’s the answer?”
“Yes.” April has happy tears down her face.
Caroline screamed of excitement and hugged the two. Casey smiled and before the two went to bed, he got on his phone and got into the group chat.
DrCaseyJohnson: Hey, guys!
TrackOlympicsYaz (Mrs. Gutierrez): What?
Farmgirl2022: Yeah, you woke me and Yaz up. What’s the news???
BrooklynnUnboxesTheWorld: What’s the news, Dr. Johnson?”
DrCaseyJohnson: I proposed to April tonight and she said, “Yes!!!!”
JungleBoy5000: WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Dinonerd2001: THAT’S AMAZING!!!! I’m so happy for you two!!!!
BrooklynnUnboxesTheWorld: When’s the wedding????
DrCaseyJohnson: I just proposed! I had not thought of anything else yet. To quote Yaz from 2015, “I did not think this through.”
TrackOlympicsYaz (Mrs. Gutierrez): Please do not quote me the day I broke my ankle, that was not a pleasant moment for any of us.
Casey smiled and looked at the sleeping fiancée besides him. Life could not be any better.

That’s one hell of a amen
Tumblr media
Warnings:Ptsd,cussing,adult themes,violence,guns
Summary:coming home for the first time, sense you left in years.Meeting your brother and his boss first thing who doesn’t seem to quite like you and your demeanor atleast not yet while you run into past friends.
————
The last thing today Antonio Dawson had expected was a call, for a case from his own baby sister who he was now just informed was back in Chicago for the first time in years.Having just got done with her second tour in Afghanistan.Antonio wasn’t sure if he would be excited or nervous to see her,he knew all to well what war can do to people,an he didn’t know how badly it affected his sister.
“So how do you know our suspect is at the airport, unarmed are you positive of that?”.Voight questioned Antonio while his mind was only on one thing.
“No,not on that.So let’s be prepared,we don’t know what’s coming on way,but I am more then positive he is here.Let’s just say this source is way more then reliable”. Antonio couldn’t help but raise his voice a bit at void.
while they pulled up to the airport,Antonio couldn’t help but to rush out of the car even while it was still moving, which caused Voight to yell at him which he quite frankly couldn’t care.
“White male, practically 5”8 with grey hair,no beard are you sure this is our guy,we don’t need to go in guns blazing and scare anyone”. Kim stated calmly while Antonio glared at her.
“Look I think we just need to trust Antonio on this,he says they are reliable he’s never lead us wrong has he?” Jay stated more then questioned everyone while they headed in.
Voight had got in front of everyone else first coming in without hesitation he had pointed at the girl with black hair that fell in her face, while she had her foot on the guys back holding his arm up twisted.
Antonio froze seeing the scene un-fold in front of him rushing to push down Voights gun.
“Jesus Voight, really can we not point guns at her” Antonio raised his voice while the girl looked up to see him while a smile appeared on her face.
“I would hug you,but uh here” you held your hand out handing him a gun that was the suspects.
You couldn’t help but feel Halsteads eyes on you,as if he was shocked to ever see you again. But there was also confusion seeing Antonio treat you like he knew you,he wasn’t aware that the two of you were siblings.
“Who is this to you,Dawson” voight asked Antonio who looked at you before shrugging.
“This is my sister Nevaeh,an this is Voight he’s my boss” Antonio introduced the two of you while Voight went to shake your head, you walked right passed him and pulled Antinio into a hug.
“How’s gabby, please tell me she’s still not falling for that one guy” you couldn’t help but chuckle seeing voight pulling the assliant to his feet.
“Well techically I would say she is,she’s married to Matthew Casey” Antonio slightly chuckled. “But he’s not that bad of a guy,I’ve came around to him.”
“Issue there Halstead” you smile jokingly shoving him,you could see the confusion on his face with the bit that was laced with concern.
“No issue here tagalong” he teased shoving you back gently.
“You to know each other?” Antonio couldn’t help but question, getting protective and pointing at Jay. “I swear to god if you laid a hand on her.”
You laugh,”No,no,no Antonio,I served in the rangers with him on my first tour. He’s done nothing wrong he’s a great and respectful guy” you couldn’t help but not smile at how protective your brother has already gotten to be to you while you had just gotten back.
“Fine let’s go,Diego and the others would be so excited to see you anyways” he nudged you though you jokingly winked at Jay before leaving with your brother. You couldn’t help but tense you at the fact of hearing a girl ask who you were, while you left with Antonio.
Tumblr media
While Antonio was putting the kids to sleep and making sure they were okay. You couldn’t help but zone out thinking about all your friends you left behind on the third tour,it just didn’t sit right with you that while they were fighting you were sat in middle of the living room in Antonio’s house. You hadn’t realized few hours had went by tell he came back around the corner surprised to see you hadn’t moved from your original spot.
“You good kid?” Antonio patted your back walking behind you,to sit beside you.
“Yeah,I’m good” you stated slightly cold while taking a drink. It wasn’t you to let your emotions out an burden someone else with them, plus on top of everything your brother had more then the average persons stuff to deal with, his kind of job and his kids while dealing with his ex wife’s drama.
“Hey I mean it,are you good I’m here for you and you know that.Always and forever “mi hermanita”.
“Yeah I know, but I’m fine I’m good I promise you and if something in that changes you will be the first to know”. You lie to him, that wasn’t someone else had to worry or now what was running around in your own head.
“Imma head to bed,my rooms only down the hall I mean it,anything anything at all you come get me” he says sternly which made you smile.
You knew you would always be so thankful for your brother, yes you had Gabby as your sister but you would always be more close with your big brother then Gabby. You were never sure if it was because he was the big brother of two littler sisters, but it was how things always seemed to fall into line.
You knew you were not defined by the wreckage in the past in your brothers eyes, you through always believed you never deserved to pass through the gates of heaven with everything you have ever did,an done. While falling asleep on Antonio’s couch and being woken up to the sound of laughter, the sound you have missed hearing then anything in the world. The laughter of his two kids, who made you still believe in the innocence of the world.
“Hey get dressed, you are coming to work with me” Antonio told you which wasn’t up for debated and you knew it.
“Yeah alright give me two minutes” you tell him before grabbing your bag and heading to the bathroom to change your clothes, before coming out soon after seeing the kids getting on the bus for school while you got into the car heading to the 21st district with your brother.

One Chicago Spin-off, but its their kids - Rewrite
Tumblr media
The amount of stupidity feel right now. I already made this post and it was in my drafts, and my dumb ass deleted it when I went to edit it- anyway, if you couldn't tell, I deleted all of my old One Chicago Kids content because I'm rewriting it! So, here we go;
Kelly's still the chief, but he's the chief of Firehouse 28, where his daughter and only child is the squad lieutenant.
Homegirl following in his footsteps.
And of course, Kelly and Stella named her Leslie.
Lieutenant Leslie Severide. I love it.
ANYWAY- Casey's kid also followed in his dad's footsteps and became the captain of 28.
His name would probably be Andrew, or Andy for short.
Andrew and Leslie having the same dynamics as their dads.
Fire captain that gets in harms way pretty much every shift, his squad lieutenant best friend getting his ass out of danger again.
Leslie being an only child and Andrew having three sisters and two brothers.
Casey and Brett be having children left and right-
STELLA WOULD SPOIL HER GIRL SM I SWEAR-
No because Kelly would too.
28 being friends with the new-ish Intelligence Unit.
I use the term new-ish bc idk what else to use.
Like, Adam, Hailey, Kevin and Kim are probably still there, but they'd have new members - perhaps someone's kid?
Introducing Detective Patrick Gregory Halstead.
Named after his grandfather and dad's best friend for obvious reasons.
I JUST IMAGINE WILL BEING LIKE "what about me?" TO JAY-
Patrick and Leslie re-enacting their dad's moment where Kelly helped Jay find the guy that caused the apartment building fire (that was why, right??), but obviously for some other reason.
Hailey finding them and calling Stella, like "they've done it again."
All Stella can say to her daughter is "you are so much like your father sometimes" or "you definitely have your father's personality."
Same, Leslie-
BACK TO MY POINT-
I kid you not, if we got a scene where Kelly is seen accidentally encouraging Leslie to break the rules and Stella having to tell her husband "no", I would die laughing.
Andrew and Leslie totally live together.
Cat person x dog person roommates
Turns out I didn't delete the last draft.
I posted it. Like an idiot.
ANYWAY-
The amount of times Kelly has to call his captain and squad lieutenant into his office is insane.
He'd look at Andrew after he (Andrew) did something stupid like "you know your parents are going to ask me about this" and then turns to his daughter and says "your mother won't be too happy to find out that you lost a squad truck, Leslie."
"I know, Dad." "What?" "Yes, Chief." Kelly only makes his daughter repeat herself because Stella was coming to his office in her gear and all.
Stella starts scolding Leslie- "Do you know how much a squad truck costs?!" "I've never bought one...so, no."
"Leslie Sylvie Elizabeth Severide." "Dad, help-" "I'm just as scared of your mother as you are, kid. I'm just here because this is my office."
Leslie knows she messed up when her mother calls her by her full name.
Jay getting concerned about his son's safety during a case, so Kelly offers a place at his daughter's house.
Leslie genuinely doesn't care - Patty's her friend, after all.
He's also the only one who knows first aid.
Leslie and Andrew both work with paramedics. One, in which, is Andrew's little sister-
I'm in the middle of school writing this part and I'm not actually meant to be on my phone-
After the case, Leslie and Andrew would invite Pat to just live with them since the district is in between their house and the firehouse.
Pat coming home smelling like alcohol; he was dealing with an alcoholic drug dealer during the case and got alcohol thrown at him.
And yes, Jay essentially went ballistic on the guy because that's his son you're throwing an alcohol bottle at, man.
Andrew immediately smells it because he still has his sense of smell after being a firefighter for as many years as he has.
It takes Leslie a bit. Mostly because she'd be hyper focused on something else-
With both of her parents' genes, Leslie was definitely a leash kid.
Most definitely got it from Kelly.
I can imagine little bubba Leslie learning to walk, and the Severides are at the Caseys, everyone's expecting Leslie to go to Kelly or Stella, but instead she goes to Matt.
Kelly just standing there dumbfounded because he was calling to Leslie saying "come to Dadda" and the child went to her uncle/godfather instead of her father.
The girls are laughing their heads off and Matt is just trying to tell her he's not her dad.
She would start crying.
Kelly has literally put in his will that if something happened to him and Stella wasn't around, he trusts Matt to take care of Leslie.
So Matt's been in Leslie's life the entire time (mostly because he's her godfather) and she's gotten used to him being around.
Leslie going to Matt when she knows she's done something stupid, but she doesn't want to go to her parents-
Matt being like "you know your parents will find out sooner or later."
Speaking of godparents, Mouse being Patrick's godfather-
I just imagine Mouse's reaction to Patrick crying for the first time when Mouse finally meets his godson.
He starts panicking and Jay reassures him that Patrick cried when he (Jay) first held him too, and that Pat just needs time get used to him (Mouse).
I read a little fic by someone on here where Mouse met his and reader's child for the first time and the child started crying-
I read it at like 3 am and I started crying.
Back when Leslie was a toddler, Kelly and Stella bringing her to the house-
No bc Sylvie would bring Andrew and Boden would be nominated "Grandpa" after Andy or Leslie call him "Ganba"
Why do I feel like Leslie would be an aggressive little child? Like, if Andy or another kid stole her toy, her first instinct would be to smack 'em?
Ofc Kelly and Stella would raise her out of it-
Leslie going to school (like middle school and high school ig) with Patrick because Jay and Hailey wanted their son to have a friend at his school.
I feel as kids, Leslie and Pat wouldn't be very close because you know ONE of them would've played sports and other would've been busy studying like no tomorrow.
Leslie would've been more of a practical kid, ngl-
If Chicago was in Australia, Leslie would've done VCAL, Pat would've done VCE and Andrew would start with VCE, but then go into VCAL.
don't ask me what they mean because I don't remember.
and im doing vce, so-
WE JUST CALL THEM BY THEIR LETTERS- but if there's any Aussies that wanna clear up any possible confusion, go for it-
But they're not in Aus, so back to topic-
Andrew would've been a really smart kid, and he liked his studies but he'd hate how much theory he'd have to do.
He's the only one of the roommates who actually has a degree.
Leslie knew she was going to be a firefighter, so she didn't bother going to college.
Patrick travelled for a bit, then figured out he wanted to follow his parents' footsteps, even if his sister's didn't want to.
One of Jay's kids looking up to their Uncle Will and becoming a doctor because of him-
That'd be so sweet.
My uncle is a nurse, and I don't remember what the rest of my uncles do for a living tbh
I tried going down the nursing route, but not for me-
I wanna go to uni for criminology or psychology, maybe both-
I'M GETTING DISTRACTED AGAIN-
Jay and Hailey's kids being really close to their Uncle Will, but not so much their maternal uncles, just because I feel like Hailey's brothers are a little distant. Mostly because we haven't even got the name of one of them, much less met one-
Has Jay met one of his brother-in-laws? Or his mother-in-law?
...hailey has a mother, right-? i for sure heard somewhere that she has a mother-
Anyway- yeah, Pat and his sisters being close to their Uncle Will and Will having to babysit sometimes.
"Keep an eye on him." "You know I will." "I was talking to Patrick."
Jay thoroughly believing that his son isn't the one who drags his brother into trouble, but it totally is-
No- i just imagined little Patrick seeing either Jay all bruised and cut up from a case and him asking in a little kid voice "daddy, are you okay?"
I MELT-
MEN WITH KIDS GETS ME-
Ik its the bare minimum for men to take care of their kids, but i didn't see a lot of that growing up, so it's so adorable to me.
Don't get me started when the dads come in with their toddlers and play with them a little 🥹
Patrick being exactly that as a detective-
He's working on a case, where he's talking to young parents when their kid waddles in and starts playing with the cuffs of his pants.
And he starts playing with the kid- 🥹
Oh, and I know Matt and Sylvie broke up. Lets just say that maybe they got back together after Matt came back to Chicago
Anyway-
I'll probably leave it at this, because its so long already. I will have their names and ages at the bottom, the colours corresponding with their job (pd, fire, paramed, med, other)
