9-1-1's Season 7 promotion is off the charts

Last season, I was truly disappointed in the LACK of promos (especially for the season opener), last minute BTS pics and everything else. (It was one of my 15 Constructive Criticisms for the entire season).

BUT NOW THEY'RE ON ABC... and promotions have been off the charts. IIRC, they've been promoting the new season since mid November and almost everyday there's even more. It's so awesome to see the show and the cast get the promos and updated pictures they deserve because they've worked hard for six years and now they're entering their 7th Season.

For the first time in a long time, I'm excited to see what's in store for all the main characters. Also, it's great to see how happy the main cast is about everything that's coming. They're having fun and it's noticeable. 🥳🥳

(1) Who fell in love first and when? When did they admit it to themself?

(2) Do you think they get married after the show ends and when? Do they have another kid?

(3) What does he love most about her? What does she love most about him?

1. Angela! 100% Angela. I think they both instantly knew they were attracted but tony wouldn’t let himself go beyond that for a while. She knew when Tony was coming up with plans to fight Michael for Jonathon. Like she may have had hints here and there before, she definitely already saw them as a family but that trip for Michael’s wedding? She knew it was love bc he was willing to do anything to keep Jonathon both bc he loved him and because he knew Jonathan meant everything to Angela and he wouldn’t stand letting her be without him. Canonically, Tony knew end of s2 but I think he admitted the depth in s3 at that wedding bc he wanted the best for Angela and he knew he’d fight for it even if it wasn’t him.

2. They absolutely get married. It’s a small ceremony for Angela and a massive reception for Tony. I know a lot of folks like to think they biologically have a kid after but I think the more beautiful story for me is if Tony becomes an elementary school teacher and they eventually adopt one of his students (a daughter who loses her single dad and whose bio mother has no interest in her). Bc the family they build together continues to be one they choose.

3. Tony adores Angela’s ambition and her vision. He’s seen first hand how she can build campaigns, a business, how she goes from idea to execution and he’s in awe of it and how she loves with that same passion and determination. She always tries no matter what and I feel like he canonically acknowledges that one? Angela loves the way Tony pays attention. He truly listens and he tries to make her day (and others he loves) better in such small ways that feel so profound bc Angela has had a lot of relationships both romantic and platonic where that’s not the case.

Annie Edison, my beloved. 💕 (Community)

I’ve loved Annie since the first time I watched Community. She’s insane, she’s intelligent, she’s incredible. What more can I say? The answer is a lot, but now is simply not the time.

Peggy Carter (Captain America/Agent Carter/MCU)

Peggy my darling angel, she was one of my first, like, fave characters/role models ever and remains so to this day! She is a strong, independent woman who can kick some butt and knows exactly what she wants. Also like- the hair and the lipstick?? Iconic.

The Lorax (The Lorax)

I hope it is well known that I love a kids movie and The Lorax is one of my favorites ever! He speaks for the trees! 🥲 It literally makes me cry when he has the little funeral for the first tree I love him so much.

Jane Eyre (Jane Eyre)

Obviously the title character is the best one. Um what more could you want than poor, plain, and simple Jane. I don’t really know- this book was so insanely wild like what? but also like I feel so sad for Jane in so much of the beginning- my precious baby. But I love how she realizes her worth and value and makes a life for herself and finds family and like yes, is it insane that Mr. Rochester kept his wife in the attic and then that wife later jumped off the top of his burning mansion to her death and Jane later marries that man? Absolutely of course but it’s all part of the drama and the intrigue that is Jane Eyre.

Cher Horowitz (Clueless)

Yes, she is the worst ever, but also if you think about it…I love her. The audacity. The style. The story. I love her. I love that she has some real character growth and learns the value of friendship and like giving a little and I think it’s a really fun adaptation of Emma and the cultural impact? I mean come on!

Ted Lasso (Ted Lasso)

Okay like yes, is every character in this show somehow insanely amazing? Yes. But Ted just has this energy and joy that I want so badly to have in my life! I feel like I’m a pretty positive person, but he just absolutely outshines everyone and like how do I be like that? He is so good.

Edmund Hewlett (TURN)

But also Anna Strong, you know what I mean?? How can I choose between them! I love them both so much- Anna is our queen honestly and just who is doing it like her?? Nobody, that’s who! But Edmund is my skrunkly little baby and I love him too much he is too precious and too pure for this world he deserved to live happily ever after with Anna. 😭

Effie Trinket (The Hunger Games)

Okay, like, yes, obviously Katniss is our queen and we love her endlessly, BUT I have an undying love for Effie!! She is way superficial at the beginning of the series and so wrapped up in Capital culture, but I love the way she starts to see through the mask of the Games even in the first book/movie and especially through the second and third. I think she really understands the depth of evil that the Games perpetuate and I really liked watching her transformation. Plus like who can ignore her insane style and over-the-top aesthetic? Iconic.

Janet Wood (Three’s Company)

My queen angel Janet. She’s the rock of the apartment- the rest of them are literally insane and she holds them all together with logic and intelligence and steadfastness. She is also so cool and amazing and what a sweet baby I just want her to be happy.

Angela Bower (Who’s the Boss)

My namesake, of course. Don’t get me wrong, I love Tony so much also! But Angela is so cool, I just love her. She is smart & dorky and confident and just awesome all around. She is hard-working and so caring, and like the queen of late-80s-early-90s fashion and that is all thank you.

Fandom: Who’s The Boss?

Pairings: Tony Micelli x Angela Bower

I know, I know. I really dropped the ball. I got a little overambitious, thinking that I could do each prompt every day, but I was wrong. I should’ve learned my lessons from previous challenges that I’ve done.

But, I’m finally writing for Who’s The Boss? It quickly became one of my favorite shows in quarantine, and I’m so excited to finally get content out for it.

Despite the fact that she had sequestered herself in her bedroom and her back was beginning to hurt, Angela resisted the urge to lay down. It felt like an Olympian feat to keep her eyes open and she thought that she could feel the bags under her eyes.

She didn’t even look up when she heard a knock at the door. “It’s open.”

She heard the door open, keeping her eyes on the papers until she heard the person entering speak up.

“Dinner’s gonna be ready in five,” Tony told her.

“Just put some leftovers aside,” Angela waved off, despite the hollow cramping that was building up in her stomach.

“You said the same thing yesterday,” Tony reminded.

Angela sighed. “Tony, I’ve been stuck on this pitch for days, and I’m finally close to a breakthrough.”

Tony leaned over the side of the bed to look at the mess of papers scattered across it. “The convenience store account? I thought Mona...”

“Well, it turns out that she had a good excuse for not coming into work this week-- the flu,” Angela muttered.

“Angela, you still need a break,” Tony tried to convince her.

Angela shook her head. “No, I’m gonna lose my-- I’m not even hungry right now.”

She was quickly proven to be lying when her stomach growled. Her entire face flushed red.

“Ignore that,” she said.

“Kinda hard to,” he sounded like he was trying to sound teasing, but his concern was more prominent.

He took hold of her hands and tried to help her to her feet.

“C’mon...”

“No, Tony, I’m fine,” Angela tried to argue. “I swear, I’m fine--”

Her words came to a halt as her eyes closed, feeling herself falling forward without any volition of her own. Tony caught her in his arms, his chest tightening up. He could feel her ribs poking through her clothes and the vibrations of her rumbling stomach against him.

“Ange? Can... can ya hear me?” he asked, gently patting her face. “Angela?”

He began to pull her closer into his arms, carrying her bridal-style back towards the bed. She began to come to once her back was to the mattress. She looked up at him, her eyes suddenly looking so big and so small at the same time.

“T-- Tony?” she murmured.

Tony sighed, relieved. “I’ll bring some food up to you. That sound okay?”

Angela nodded. “Yeah.”
