I do want to talk to you though a little bit about relationships and what you want from them now that you're coming out of this era. This SOS era where you've been so transparent and honest about accountability. Not just your own, but others, and then it's a two-way street. I sort of wonder, like, how high in that list of priorities for you is it now to kind of redefine your concept of what makes a healthy relationship actually work for you?

Haha thanks @betweendevilanddeepbluesea for letting me in on this, i feel so special! These are my albums of the year:
Midnights by Taylor Swift - Resonated with so much sentiment this album is trying to deliver, listening to it just feels like looking in a mirror. This album has become my go-to over the past year!
SOS by SZA - I am usually not the biggest hip-hop person, but this album strikes the perfection balance b/w all the music genre it touched upon, and track listing on this album is just ON POINT!!!
Emotion by Carly Rae Jepsen - I think if I have to pick an album to live as, this would be it. So obsessed with the atmosphere this album creates, makes me want to jump into that world!
Music of the Spheres by Coldplay - LOL I KNOW BUT LET ME EXPLAIN. Over the past few years for whatever reason it felt like I was getting more distant from the band, but I have always loved them since when I was young. With the rollout of this album however, I was able to get the chance to appreciate them again and become the die-hard coldplayer/guy stan that i am today!
SHOOTING STAR by XG - The only album in the range of KPOP that made it to the list! Even though it's not a full studio album, I think it deserve the spot considering the quality of the production and there's just something about song themselves that has me hooked!
Every Open Eye by CHVRCHES - This was the first time i experience music with such heavy synthesizer like this. Trust me, IT'S A WHOLE VIBE!
Women In Music, Pt. III by HAIM - It's insane how much of women power this album radiates. They will forever be my icon, my role model, my heroin for making this!
Pure Heroin by Lorde - Still can't believe the fact that this album just turned 10 this year and Lorde was only 16 when she created it. The perfect pop debut album of all time, and the production of this album could last forever.
Paint My Bedroom Black by Holly Humberstone - Discovered this artist on apple music radio and she just released this as her debut album! Super talented artist and can't wait to see her live next May!
@coleyblue, @whereiwantedtogo & @kimlovescoldplay, your turn!

so bored so i’m going to do this
1. odd question regarding the true part but, yes my name is zaria.
2. december 1st
3. 5’4”
4. taken by a pumpkin 🙂
5. i really like to apply three cute words together to get a good url.
6. i personally can adore both but if i had to chose, dogs. bigger dogs though because i don’t feel fond of smaller dog breeds lol. older cats are really cool.
7. as far as live action, i really like indie movies or films that generally focus on the slice of life genre. also films exploring a character navigating growth or love. i’m open to a lot of animation too but i adore surrealism and similar genres as my live action preferences for that too.
8. i really do wish i read more. its pretty difficult with adhd/autism but i do find myself fascinated with early 1900s children’s book illustrations.
9. both of my ears are pierced and i don’t want anymore.
10. i’ve always wanted to go to a safe meadow with flowers and sit under a large tree while letting a cute radio play 60s indie garage rock. my boyfriend and i will have a large quilted blanket out with a beautiful and classy packed picnic lunch with glassware and cute napkins. we have sandwiches, soup, iced tea, chocolates and a charcuterie board. different types of cheeses with honey and jams and meat for him. we laugh at weird jokes we make, play card games, maybe do arts and crafts together and watch the sunset. maybe watch the stars too. bonus to be near a river running quietly the whole time.
11. black iced coffee!
12. hard question to answer. i generally really dislike the idea that my passions have to intertwine with unhealthy capitalistic methods just to make ends meet. …i know there’s more optimistic ways to view that but i’m completely indifferent about pursuing a conventional idea of a career. i don’t have time or connections to do it but if possible something involving freelance art commissions or comics would be cool.
13. i don’t have this.
14. tofu pho easily! i can never get tired of it.
15. year of the tiger. tigers are cute but i wish it was rabbit!
16. i like knitting, baking and journaling.
17. i been to some pretty ordinary places really. i’ve been to quite a bit of the southern east coast of america and then to michigan and los angeles. thats about it.
18. i think i’d love to go to finland or japan.
19. japanese, french, finnish, russian and spanish.
20. just english, i can understand a considerable but small amount of spanish or japanese.
21. it’s hard to say… i really like all for different reasons but maybe spring at the moment.
22. i love stuffed animals. i own many like my melody, bunnies, an octopus cat, a teddy i had since 2005, and rilakkuma just to name a few.
23. i never had the former so tofu spaghetti for me.
24. being able to very easily recognize what year a piece of media came from.
25. i’ll go with a cute golden dagger with flowers and a bunny on it.
26. a rustic prep type of aesthetic i suppose. i definitely have it!
27. any kind of bunnies, giant african snail, puffins, panda bears, ducks, flamingos, frogs, and dogs.
28. right now i would probably say soap and sweat.
29. funny question, i don’t think i do. i very much value peace.
30. 4!
31. no!!!
32. i love both… so much… black coffee or cappuccino and green tea or chamomile… so lovely…
33. floral, strawberry, vanilla, warm apple, or coco butter.
34. don’t remind me… probably south park during 2010 to 2015.
35. 3rd, 7th, 10th, 16th, and my 23rd and 24th i suppose.
36. frankie foster!
37. ami from hi hi puffy amiyumi, frida suraez from el tigre, raggedy ann from raggedy ann and andy a musical adventure, and maybe lum from urusei yatsura and shantae.
38. i can’t answer this… ohhh ok i’ll try.
1. aguas de marco by elis regina
2. boranda by sergio mendes
3. l’elephant by tom tom club
4. sudden death by quelle chris
5. good days by sza
39. coffee, matcha and birthday batter!
40. my current wishlist is a customized cute stationery set, handheld vacuum, king sized bed set, more skirts, leggings, sweaters and crop tops, lotions, oils, dress shoes and sneakers, more cute socks and panties and some rugs and movie posters.

OCTOBER FAVORITES ‘22
Tumblr media
Hey babes, it’s been SO long since I’ve posted, let alone written a blog post! But I’m back today! I honestly miss writing and have been a little lost on what to write about but I’m hoping that changes soon.
October has been such a beautiful month! I’ve made so many memories, tried new recipes, bought new pieces, traveled, etc. It’s been one of my favorite months this year so why not share some of my monthly favorites? From music to beauty, here’s my October faves:
1. BEAUTY
Tumblr media
LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm in ‘Berry’: $17
One word: Obsessed. It is a bit pricier for a lip balm but I swearrrrr by this one! I love the consistency and the bubblegum pink tint it gives your lips, on top of how it leaves lips super soft. The girls who know, know.
2. CLOTHING + ACCESSORIES
Tumblr media
Converse Chuck Taylor High Top Platform Sneaker: $75
I love my chucks, always have, always will. And, I love platforms so these were perfect for me. Perfect for chill + comfy fits.
Tumblr media
DIESEL Rinke Top Handle Bag: $195
A perfect basic bowling bag. I adore this purse. It’s cute, simple, and roomy. It was a b-day gift from my honey and since I’ve gotten it, it’s usually the first bag I pick up since it’s so easy to build an outfit around. I’ve been trying to focus on not only adding quality pieces to my collection, but also building a strong basics collection.
PS. Diesel ateeeeee down with this whole rebrand.
3. BOOKS
I’ve always been an avid reader but lately, I’ve fallen off with reading so this month, I made it a goal of mine to read one book but ended up with two. Here’s what I read this month:
Twilight by Stephanie Meyers
Long Live The Pumpkin Queen by Shea Ernshaw
I would honestly classify the whole Twilight Saga as iconic and a cult classic but that’s for another day but I really enjoyed reading the first book and reading about how romantic Edward is, the movies don’t do him justice.
Long Live The Pumpkin Queen is a bit different from what I usually read but I still enjoyed the fantasy book and it fit the spooky vibe of the month perfectly.
4. MUSIC
Tumblr media
Songs I’ve been loving:
Bop It Up by The Maria’s
Wasting Time by Brent Faiyaz
Bout Mine by Mariah The Scientist
Shirt by Sza
Tomorrow 2 by Glorilla ft. Cardi B
Soul Ties by Kaash Paige
Show Me How by Men I Trust
5. SHOWS & MOVIES
Parks & Rec
Paranorman [underrated halloween movie]
Wendell & Wild
6. ELECTRONICS
Sony Bluetooth On-Ear Headphones - Black (WHCH510/B): $60
Ya girl wants the Apple AirPods Max but that price tag is craaaazy and I honestly don't use headphones enough to splurge [atleast not yet lmao] but I love these Sony headphones! They’re noise canceling & have a great battery life. 9/10 recommend.
7. GAMES
Tumblr media
Cozy Grove for Nintendo Switch: $15
I’m not the biggest gamer but I do enjoy playing anything cozy and simulation games! Cozy Grove is the cutest calming game ever. You’re a scout and your duty is to help lost animal souls. So cute! ( ˘ ³˘) Fit the spooky mood perfectly.
8. ACTIVITIES
How I’ve spent my time this month:
Crocheting
Nature walks
Journaling
Cooking
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ending it off with the cutest munchkin you’ve ever seen! [don’t mind my outfit lmao it was cold and i ain’t gaf]
But that’s my faves for the month of October! I hope you guys enjoyed reading!
Next time,
H💌

my day is starting at 3pm. have i been awake longer than this? yes. but my day starts now as i drink a cup of warm coffee, listening to music through my bluetooth because nothing is better than an extra kick of bass. i'm sick in the head. when people ask me how i'm doing i sort of have no choice but to lie because if anyone really wants to know, i'd have to sit them down and explain everything. it's not enough to just say, "not too great," or, "could be better." i need them to know everything, but it's so much, so i need to lie. understandable? should be, it's not that complicated. lately i've been full of rage. i feel that when i feel an emotion, i become that emotion. there isn't any room for a little happy or a little sad or a little bothered, it all just turns into full-on elatedness, depression, or rage.
music artists i've been listening to lately: indigo de souza, lana del rey, basement (this is a new one i really enjoy), sza, harriette, fiona apple.
what i think this means: i want to die, but feeling my emotions is all i do that makes me feel alive, so i need to stay alive so that i can feel, even if it means i'm going to feel "too much."
my goals for this year: be a dress size six, save to get a full evaluation in therapy, graduate college, live on my own (sorta, with bf).

Amassing over 400 million streams in the US during release week, SOS became SZA’s first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (the second largest streaming week for a female artist and third largest of 2022 among all albums at the time), and dominated worldwide charts with No. 1 debuts in Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, and more.  While SOS also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts, several tracks dominated song charts and playlists across digital service providers, with standout track “Kill Bill” earning SZA her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Global 200 charts. Currently RIAA-certified 3x Platinum, SOS includes features by Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers and Ol’ Dirty Bastard; with production by Ctrl hitmaking collaborators ThankGod4Cody and Carter Lang, alongside Jeff Bhasker, Rob Bisel, Benny Blanco, Kenny “Babyface'' Edmonds, Emile Haynie, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Jay Versace, and more. The launch of SOS fostered a series of new achievements for the dynamic global icon.  SZA peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart as the most popular artist across all musical genres, and No. 1 on the Hot 100 Songwriters chart. SOS broke the record for the most weeks at No. 1 by a woman on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, and the first R&B album to spend ten non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this century. SOS yielded four No. 1 hits at both Rhythm and Urban Mainstream radio - “Snooze,” “Kill Bill,” “Shirt,” and “I Hate U.”  SZA closes out 2023 as the most Grammy nominated artist of the year with a total of nine, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Kill Bill,” Album of the Year and Best Progressive R&B Album for SOS, Best R&B Song for “Snooze,” and more. A multitude of critical praise complemented the remarkable success of SOS, inclusive of ranking No. 1 on several best-of lists in 2022 and 2023. Variety described the album as “cinematic in its scope and tone as it ripples with elements of folk, jazz, pop and ambient electronica and brings in undertones of even surf, trap, grunge and AOR rock,” while the Associated Press proclaimed “SZA proves in ‘SOS’ she still a voice of this generation.” Her first ever arena tour in the US and overseas sold out in minutes and garnered similar rave reviews. The New York Times called her Madison Square Garden headlining debut “vigorous, confident, theatrical and intimate – the sort of show that manages the rare trick of feeling both vibrantly communicative and also protectively insular,” while Billboard declared that the performance “delivered a message that she’s truly made a next-level step in her career.” In 2017, SZA released her major label debut album Ctrl (TDE/RCA). Revered for its raw and honest lyrics, it landed at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart, No. 2 on the R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. RIAA-certified 3x Platinum, the albumreceived five Grammy nominations in 2018 and more than half the songs on Ctrl are currently certified multi-Platinum and Gold. Ctrl continues to remain on the Billboard 200 chart since its release and holds the record for the longest run for any Black female artist’s debut album. An Academy Awards nominee, SZA has won 27 awards since the release of Ctrl including a 2022 GRAMMY Award for Best Pop Dou/Group Performance for “Kiss Me More” with Doja Cat, Billboard Music Awards’ Top R&B Female Artist, BET Awards’ Best New Artist, BET Soul Train Awards’ Best R&B/Soul Female Artist and Best New Artist, MTV Video Music Awards’ Best Visual Effects for the “All The Stars” with Kendrick Lamar, and NAACP Image Awards’ Outstanding New Artist, among others. In 2018, she won NAACP Image Awards’ Outstanding Duo or Group for “All The Stars” with Kendrick Lamar and Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation for the Black Panther Soundtrack. SZA also received Billboard’s 2019 Women in Music Rule Breaker award and more recently named Billboard’s 2023 Woman of the Year, Webby Awards Artist of the Year, WSJ. Magazine’s Music Innovator of the Year and Variety’s Hitmaker of the Year.  To this day, SZA continues to set the standard on creativity and songwriting, while shattering records with over 10 billion streams worldwide across all platformsAbout Apple MusicApple loves music.
