This was from a while ago and I’ve been debating on posting it (I’m just sorry I haven’t been posting more frequently since school started) but messy idea of some of Ziio’s side of the story towards the end of the 7 years war prologue in ac3.
I kinda wanted her to parallel Ratonhnhaké:ton more in terms of putting herself on the line and being distanced from her village in the meantime in an effort to keep them safe, though put herself through extreme stress and risk instead. For context in this, Ziio has been gone for a long time, and Oiá:ner has even sent people to try and find her while she’s been off on this war effort. Ziio only comes home when she feels she has secured the safety of the valley, especially with finding Achilles on the way back home and finding out she’s part of a much larger war now since her involvement with haytham and his crew (explaining why and how she’s technically an assassin ally)
I really wanted to give her a more vulnerable moment here where the cracks begin to show and being away from her support system really affected her, especially after everything she’s gone through. She’s incredibly cool and capable but she’s only human— and I really wish the game explored more of her and Oiá:ner’s conflict and dynamic personally since there’s some pretty interesting lore within her bio regarding that. She’s a risk taker but in some ways she bit off more than she could chew here.
When Ratonhnhaké:ton comes around and eventually leaves the village to find the assassins, Oiá:ner sees so much of Ziio within him too and worries that he’ll suffer the same fate and stress— but she doesn’t want to fight with him like she fought and butt heads with Ziio all those years ago.

Once I was wondering what kinds of birds fly around sync points, so I did some research and compared the bird models to the species that lived in the places where each AC game takes place.
I used iNaturalist and eBird, which helped me compare individual bird species by region and appearance. Photo sources are below in the image. I wanted to put more photos, but Tumblr allows a maximum of 30 images per post.
I have to say that I'm not a bird/animal expert, just an animal enthusiast. I know populations of individual species were very different in the past than they are today.
You are welcome to correct me if I get anything wrong and If you know of any other species that I'm missing, please let me know. 💗
Here is the first model of an eagle/a hawk:
I decided to take screenshots of each bird so I could compare them, but this model actually appeared from AC1 to Liberation.
So here are some screenshots (sorry for the crappy quality):
AC1:
Fun Fact: In AC1 after synchronization, the eagle/hawk disappears permanently. Thankfully I didn't sync all the towers in Kingdom.
AC2:
AC Brotherhood:
AC Revelations:
AC3:
AC Liberation:
AC Regions:
AC1 - Middle East
AC2 and Brotherhood - Italy
AC Revelations - Istanbul, Turkey
AC3 - New York, New York State, US and Boston, Massachusetts, US
AC Liberation - New Orleans, Louisana, US and Yucatán, Mexico
Suggestions for AC1 & Ezio Trilogy:
Common buzzard (Buteo buteo)
This species is most common bird of prey in Eurasia (or has the most observations). It has several morphs.
Long-legged buzzard (Buteo rufinus)
This species has the most observations in Turkey. It can easily be mistaken for a common buzzard.
Suggestions for AC3 & Liberation:
Red-shouldered hawk (Buteo lineatus) - immature
This bird has the most observations in the southeastern part of the USA. The immature individual is more similar to the model because the adult has a more brown or reddish body.
Red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)
The most common bird of prey in North America, which is also divided into subspecies and morphs.
Bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) - immature
Juvenile bald eagles have similar coloration to the model, as adult plumage coloration appears at less than four years of age.
There is another model of the eagle/hawk from AC4:
It's the same model, only the texture is now different.
AC4 Screenshots:
AC4 Regions:
Caribbean - Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, The Bahamas...
Florida, US
Suggestion:
Red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)
This species most closely resembles the model and also lives in the Caribbean Islands.
And now it's another retextured model from AC Rogue:
AC Rogue Screenshots:
AC Rogue Regions:
North Atlantic
Nova Scotia, Canada
Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada
New York, New York State, US
Suggestion:
Bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)
It's obvious, isn't it? :) Also bald eagle appeared in AC3 Cinematic Trailer.
Next thing is that AC Rogue has actually two models of the eagle (couldn't find this model in files). The second eagle model appears only in the intro and outro of the game and it's more realistic and detailed.
Despite that, AC Rogue ended in Paris, where bald eagles do not occur there. It's possible Shay owns one that flies with him (my new headcanon!).
Unfortunately, I couldn't find the eagle model in the files in AC Unity as well, so I don't have a showcase.
So here are only screenshots:
It's a new model this time and it looks a little more realistic, but is still low-poly.
AC Unity Regions:
France - Paris, Versailles and Saint-Denis
Suggestion:
Golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)
This eagle most closely resembles the model, even though golden eagles are mostly common in mountainous areas. Also it appeared in one of AC Unity Cinematic Trailers.
AC Syndicate is one of the AC games that doesn't have bird of prey on the sync point. Instead they have the rooks (Corvus frugilegus) in London.
Again, I couldn't find the model in the files, but according to the screenshot, the model is more low-poly than the first model of the eagle/hawk.
Bonus: Playable Birds
Since AC Origins, the protagonists have bird companions, thanks to which we can find targets and explore area more easily.
Also the developers confirmed species of them:
Senu - Bonelli's eagle (Aquila fasciata)
Ikaros - Golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos)
Sýnin - Common raven (Corvus corax)
Enkidu - Eastern imperial eagle (Aquila heliaca)

Crossover Bar AU crumbs ahoy!
When the Apprentice first made the bar, she was fucking with a lot of space and time bullshit, which caught a lot of attention from interdimensional beings.
So to prevent the interruption of her first solo project, she hid the bar by making it constantly moving, it jumps between dimensions, multiverses, and timelines. You can’t quite catch something that doesn’t exist where you think it is, because now it’s not and never was. Being part Cosmic Entity is fun. It was a game of keep away that the Apprentice found hilarious.
Well, once the bar was officially ready for operation, the Reader helped her find a Desmond fresh from the good ol’ Isu electric bug zapper and shoved his unassuming ass into the bar.
So yeah, the Crossover Bar is indeed an interdimensional speakeasy. That may or may not be partially alive because of the Apprentice’s cosmic magic and Desmond being the Host, but whatever.
Multiverse cops not invited >:(
Except to the interdimensional buddies who aren’t snitches. They get a free pass because they’re chill like that.
Writers are also invited btw

(6:22) going with a DC/AC AU I find it a little funny if it's just Desmond in the world of DC and seeing as there's nothing on the brotherhood or templars is confused on what he should do next. Until wait a second is that fuckin Edward?!?
But can you just imagine Haytham Kenway’s Bleed just giving Desmond a headache because, as far as Haytham Kenway’s memories go, he always remembered his father wearing prim and proper clothes like these:
Then he sees John Constantine wearing this:
And he’s like “Oh no. Father’s return to his ruffian roots.”
Anyway, if Desmond gets punted in the DC ‘verse and has no idea what to do, I can totally see him following John just because he looks familiar.
John would be “???” but, at the same time, there’s something about Desmond that attracts… well, the sort that John’s pretty familiar with.
They don’t know it but it’s because the demons and other supernatural beings know Desmond is not from their universe. They can feel it (and some of them can even see or smell it). Desmond is different and they either want to kill him or they want to ‘know’ him.
Desmond just wants to go home and he honestly believes that all this supernatural and magical bullshit he sees being John’s sorta-assistant is just some kind of sci-fi bs he can’t understand. The Isus have screwed his perception so badly that he can’t believe in demons and magic and whatever.
Weird demonic being? Genetic mutation or experimentation gone wild.
Superheroes? Samesiessss.
Magic? Dude’s holding some kind of POE-equivalent item that can do crazy shit.
John is both impressed and annoyed by Desmond’s skepticism. He is absolutely confused at the mental gymnastics Desmond does just to explain everything as sci-fi bullshit.
The demons and other beings who get called ‘fakes’ and ‘genetic mutations’?
Yeeaaaahhh. It’s a good thing the first rule of getting isekai’ed to other worlds is that the main character gets a cheat power.
And Desmond’s cheat?
He can summon a moving pillar of fire and light from the fucking sun like a homing laser beam ala Moonbeam (no, we are not calling it Sunbeam, come on).
(This does mean that he absolutely works as a freaking battery for Superman though but Superman’s cool so Desmond’s okay with that)
(The Batfamily x AC AU that started this)

I’m sorry but
Certain bloodlines directly descended from the hybrids, however, possessed fractionally higher levels of Isu DNA in their genome, resting somewhere between the 0.0002% to 0.0005% of normal humans and the 5 or 6% of Sages,[5] which allowed their scions to naturally access Eagle Vision and to more fully interact with Pieces of Eden much like their ancestors.
I am having a bit too much of a cackle here. It’s just this side of schadenfreude. Does this mean that in the end, Hidden Ones/Assassins were the ones who had and have this ability to spot and “loot” people with the highest level of Isu genetics?
The very same Isu who basically created humans as slave race?
And now, those who are the “closest” to them, genetically, are the ones who are working to ensure the humanity’s ability to exercise free will?
Oh, how the tables have turned now
But no, seriously. Is this some kind of a group thing? Does like call to like here, after all? How do Assassins keep more or less consistently finding people who can activate Eagle vision, but the Templars can’t do it - unless they, literally, steal them from Assassins?
