ohhh shit, okay. so.

cql was the most draining show - it's amazing and so enticing but i had never watched anything from the wuxia genre before so it was A Lot..i would not rewatch it tbh, maybe the special addition if i miss wangxian too much 💞 it's so tragic and i'm always at risk of The Feels when i come across any cql or mdzs post, not to mention the yi city arc which fucked me up in a particular way...

woh doesn't make me as emotional because everyone is insane? it's actually impressive how unhinged every single person in the show is, the stories are tragic too, especially the last episodes but i was kind of numb to it, decided to focus on my guys and their happy ending only ✌️

woh gave me wen kexing, visuals (the designs of the characters are wild, espeecially the ghosts, they're straight out of a children's book, so expressive and individualistic) and the most blatant expression of romance they could - not only could you feel the love through each gaze, touch and action but boundaries were pushed in terms of script and the portrayal of physical affection was more than what they had to do. also i'm obsessed with the lipreading videos <3

TMS2!! i am sure s1 is great but it just didn't leave a lasting impression on me, it was the second season that had me shaking in excitement and yelling at the screen and going through tumblr to read analyses and stuff. it made me care about seojoon and jiwoo soo much and even if in the future i find the first season better in retrospect, s2 is my baby (and it got me so excited bout daseul's vision for blueming 2 🥰)

in terms of whipped, i think i'd go with palm. man is borderline crazy for nueng, it's impressive. with their our skyy 2 eps out it's confirmed it's not just teen hormones lol

when it comes to my personal fave...they're both precious and frustrate me a lot but ig i'd go with tinn - i think of his reaction to gun rawring at him, about him coming back with those grocery bags.. he's so intense and awkward and devoted but it's not in the way palm is (which makes even me a bit uncomfortable hahah)

Once again, i pregame and think I’ll stay UTR but the game starts and i get impatient and just want to do something. so i volunteered for the summit/hero challenge. And my arch nemesis Ava is there too....

Today was a quiet day. Nothing major happened. I was so happy that my tribe won the challenge and the plan with my alliance worked. Clefford has really come through and I now trust him. Looks like me, MJ and Clefford are my ride or die in this game. I am also making very interesting connections with Jinx and Ava. These are that at a human level. We have not even spoken about the game yet in our one on ones. It's just very exciting.

I confess, the relief at not having tribal tonight, is palpable. I almost got 'tripp'ed up but plans have not been derailed. However, they have changed a little bit. I was trying to save Tony and i dont know why. He dissed me, so ok Tony, dont come looking for my help later.... these boys dont wanna play with me... their loss...im used to being underestimated. Thats one of my superpowers, so im throwing my hat in the ring like a boomerang baby

I am writing a confessional early because waiting for the challenge result is making me nervous, and there is nothing I can do about it. So MJ is trying to form an alliance with me and Navi which I am actually really excited about. We all came from different tribes and have different time zones. So yaaaaay! This is actually makes me excited to merge. Hopefully the 3 of us makes it to merge. Speaking of merge, I still have to put myself in a good position within our tribe for me to Survive. Everyone in my tribe says we should keep winning till merge! Yes I wish so too but I can’t stop thinking , what if we find our selves at tribal pre-merge. I don’t want that to catch us unaware so right now , I’m trying to make the best possible safest and wisest alliances ever. I’ll make Ava a very good friend but not an obvious ally except if they propose it. I think I’m just still trying to wrap my head round a-lot of things which is okay. Alright so it turns out we didn’t have to go to tribal for the first round… But then we still lost and we’re gonna lose a person regardless this round (yay…) So much for making the most of an opportunity, eh? Well I reached out to Els since they’re the person I trust the most at this point. They asked what I thought about the vote, I pitched Tony since he was one of the targets last round. I’m not super married to the plan, and I let them know that I’m will to hear out any ideas they have. They haven’t responded back yet. Everyone else has been radio silent except for Tony. We’re just talking about Canada lol. This vote is gonna be tough to coordinate on my end since I’m gonna be busy tomorrow (yay work 🙃), so hopefully we can get a plan going and get the pieces in place before I get really busy. But knowing my luck it’s going to be the most arduous process of all time 😭 Oh also, I’m now officially in an alliance with MJ and Ariel. I’ll try to update if anything major happens.

I can now say that the game has really started. I am that kind of person who is organized and want to see things my way or atleast have a control of it. I tried my best to control where coins would go. I had to give 4 coins to Els to prove my alliance with her and 3-3 for me and Jinx. I distributed m coins to MJ and Zukiswa, which both are in alliance, and to Ava since they got the highest score on our first challenge. As the second round started, Ava volunteered to be our Hero in the next challenge. We were all curious on how it will go. They also represented our Tribe at the Summit. When the challenge results been released, I was so proud of Ava for being the number one in the challenge and managed to secure our back-to-back immunity challenge wins. They are so great! BUT, I didn't received any Summit coin from her. I was so confused, because she should've reciprocated my gesture by giving her coin when I gone to The Summit. I felt like I lost control at that moment. I only got 5 coins for these rounds. I got scared of my position in my tribe, even though I'm in alliance with MJ and Zukiswa. I spend all of my coins at the Merchant's Emporium and got an Extortion Advantage where I can extort coins from someone. They must give it to be before tribal or else, they'll lose their vote on Tribal Council. I was so happy, because it was well spent! Now, I'm making observations on who have the most coins, so I can use this advantage.

Once you guys were all done, Yuta insisted on taking Mark home afterwards, most likely to get some alone time with him, but everyone knew not to argue when it came to Mark so we let them go. His fashion sense was pretty simple, he was never difficult when it came to clothes. His dimples never took a break as they formed from his cheeks. You took a moment to admire him. His dark slicked back hair revealing his forehead, thick bushy eyebrows that shaped so naturally, perfectly plump lips, rosey red cheeks, and lastly, his puffy moon like eyes staring back at you. He seemed little more alert, but still buzzed. You started to feel so grateful to have someone like him in your life, someone who you knew would be there for you no matter what. You knew from the first time you kissed that he was the one. "You okay?" You asked him concerned. "Mhm.." he said as he attempted to stand up by himself, but almost wobbling over. You got up quick enough to catch him and his hands snaked around your waist as he rested his head on your shoulder. "Alexa, play White Night, volume 7" he said loud enough for the device to hear him and the music started playing. Your arms wrapped around his cologne stained neck and your head rested between his shoulder and his peck and he slowly rocked you side to side to the music. You feel the warmth from his body, his steady heartbeat against your eardrum, and the way his chest slowly rises and falls with his breathing. You two were silent as the room was filled with the smooth vocals. His hold on you made you feel at peace and safe. "I love you." Jaehyun hummed in your ear. "so much." "I-I love you too" You were shocked. Even though he always tells you that, something about this very moment felt different. He held you tighter as he continued to talk. "You've always been by my side no matter what.... whether it was watching me work all day or me having to stay at the office late...you're always there waiting for me even though I wouldn't be there for you...I didn't expect this project to take as long as it did... I felt like such a shitty boyfriend and I didn't want you to think I was neglecting you or anything--" He paused when he heard you sniffle and he pulled back little bit to look at your face. "Oh no...baby I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you cry" He reached his hands up to cup your cheeks and pulled you into a soft kiss. The taste of liquor still lingered on lips but you didn't mind. He kissed you passionately before pulling away and look back into your eyes as he wiped away your tears with his thumbs. "Don't you ever think you're a bad boyfriend Jae, you're everything I could ever ask for. You're everything I've ever wanted and more. I told you I'd be there for through anything. I'm just happy everything worked out in the end. And I don't want to hear your talk like that again, okay?" You flicked his forehead lightly and your voiced cracked a little bit as you pulled yourself together. He giggled and rubbed his head "oww...okay okay I won't". He pulled you into another hug as the song ended. "Jae can we please get changed and go to bed now it's literally like 2:30am" you said looking up at him pouting. He kissed your forehead and nodded and you two started walking to your shared room to get relaxed and drift off to sleep.

I just had such high hopes for him in relation to the faunus oppression plotline but he just never branched away from Blake's own personal arc. I would have LOVED to see some characterization from him that wasn't just... resentment and spite. I feel like this is very intertwined with the crwby writers also admitting that they botched the faunus oppression plot. Maybe they just didn't know what to do with his character? Or maybe they did but it was executed poorly? I lean more towards the second one bc I CAN see what they were going for, it just wasn't good, at least to me.

Race lay on his back, the sun beating down harshly on his stomach.  He kept his eyes closed, the distant sound of children shouting and seagulls squawking falling just short of his full perception.  He sighed, allowing the noises that surrounded him to fade out, leaving him with just the ocean and the wind.  

A soft pair of lips pressed against his and he grinned, cracking his eyes open to see Spot hovering over him, a sincere smile on his face.  

“Mm,” he hummed, reaching up and running his fingers down Spot’s jaw, “Getting soft on me?”

Spot rolled his eyes, leaning down again to kiss him, “Never.”

“Yeah, okay,” Race smirked, patting his cheek and sitting up, accidentally knocking Spot off balance.  

He barked out a laugh as Spot floundered, brushing sand off his bare stomach as he sat back up.

“Asshole,” he grumbled, but the playful glint in his eyes still shone bright.

Race grinned, reaching out for his boyfriend’s hand to steady him.

“Here,” Race said, shifting onto his knees and dragging his finger along the sand to trace a heart, “come be cute with me.”

Spot’s eyebrows quirked, amusement playing on his face, but he joined Race nonetheless, helping him carve their names into the middle of the heart.  It was almost too cheesy for them, but Race felt oddly giddy being able to display their love for each other in such a flashy way.

Spot topped off the heart with an arrow protruding from either side, smiling as he sat back to observe their finished work.

Race sat, watching Spot survey the heart with a fond expression.  He looked truly happy.  It was a sight he wanted to bottle up and keep safe forever.

But the moment was over almost as soon as it had started when Spot began coughing.  Harsh, violent coughs wracked his body and he doubled over from the force of them.  He was convulsing, eyes screwed shut in pain as blood made its way past his barely parted lips.  He stared up at Race with panicked eyes, pleading for help.

Race froze, unsure of what to do.  What was happening?  Was Spot sick?  He tried to move towards him, but his legs wouldn’t work.  They felt heavy, weighed down by invisible boulders that held him glued to the spot.

“Racer,” Spot croaked, reaching a hand towards him.  Alarm spread through Race’s body as Spot’s hand seemed to zoom away from him, the world around him tunneling as he remained just out of reach his suffering boyfriend.

Spot’s coughs had increased almost impossibly and he was turning an alarming shade of white.  Race opened his mouth to call to him, but his lips were stuck together.  He couldn’t even make a sound.

He watched with phantom tears flowing down his face as Spot coughed a final time, his body shuddering with one last breath.

Finally, Race’s lips unstuck and he let out a scream.

“Jesus, Racer, whoa!”

Race was sitting up in bed, sobs ripping out of his throat uncontrollably as the world came rushing back.  It was dark.  Why was it dark?  Why was he suddenly wearing a shirt?  

His hands flew to the surface under him, only to find that it was soft and silky and incredibly different from the coarseness of the sand that he’d felt not moments before.

“Race, look at me.”

There was the voice again.  Loud in his head.  No, loud because it was coming from right beside him.

He urged his head to turn and look at the source of the voice, but his body wasn’t listening to his mind.  It was like they were riding on two separate tracks.  One frozen in fear, the other bulleting forward at a mile an hour, trying to make sense of the fear.

He became keenly aware of the fact that he wasn’t getting any oxygen.  Well, he was, it just didn’t feel like it.  At all.

A new brand of panic joined the already present fear and he whimpered, trying not to hyperventilate as he attempted to reign in his sobs.  Why was he so scared again?

Oh yeah, Spot.

Spot’s gone.  Dead.  He died, he-

“I’m not dead, Antonio, I’m right here.”

Oh, he was talking out loud.  Interesting.

“Tony, can you look at me?  Try to see me?  I’m here and you need to breathe.” A gentle hand gripped his shoulder and he jumped.  It quickly retracted and Race let out a frustrated sob.  He wanted the hand back.  It was comforting.

The presence next to him disappeared and the mattress in front of him dipped, placing the person to whom the voice belonged directly in front of him.

Spot.  Thank god.

“Racer, baby,” Spot hovered a hand near his face and Race nodded, leaning into the touch as Spot gently held his cheek, wiping away some tears, “I’m right here, I’m okay.  Whatever happened was just a dream, c’mon.  Calm down, love, it wasn’t real.”

Race shook his head, leaning forward until he slumped into Spot’s arms.  

“Okay, yeah, there you go,” Spot cooed, wrapping his arms tightly around Race and running a hand through the back of his hair, “I’m here, It’s alright.”

It took a few minutes, but eventually Race gained control over his breathing.  He remained in Spot’s embrace, allowing the last coils of panic to unravel.  

“Doing any better?” Spot asked, voice low and comforting.

Race nodded, “Yeah, I’m sorry.”

Spot shook his head, “No, don’t apologize.  S’not your fault.”

Race sighed, sitting back and scrubbing a shaky hand down his face, grimacing when he felt the tear tracks that lingered.

“Do you wanna talk about it?” Spot prodded gently.

“Nah,” Race breathed, hazily leaning back into their pillows.  

Spot studied him for a minute, crawling over to join him, “Are you sure?”

“Yeah,” Race said, tangling himself back into Spot’s hold, “I’m pretty sure you can tell the gist of it.”

Spot hummed, “I’m sorry you got so spooked.”

Race shrugged, nestling further into Spot’s warm skin, “It’s okay.  You’re here and I’m here and we’re good.”

“Yes, we are.”

With a final measured breath, Race allowed himself to fall back asleep, legs entwined with Spot’s.
