A good relaxing bath once in a while helps clear the mind

Yesterday, I did something I haven’t done in a long time. I took a nice relaxing bath with some candles, good music and accompanied by champagne and a cigar (I wasn’t able to get a joint lol).

It was so nice and relaxing and I just wondered ‘why haven’t I done this before?’. It was even the first time I had a candle bath and I’m totally going to have more of them.

While I was laying there enjoying the warm water and seeing the steam coming out of it I went down memory lane and reflected on the past few years I’ve been living here and how it is coming to an end. I went through everything that happened to me for the past four years, good and bad things, and particularly all the jobs I had and how I was left emotionally exhausted. I went over how some of them turned into a real toxic environment and how they made me feel at the end, how I was made to look like the bad guy despite trying my best in every job I had, and so on.

Even though it’s possible that I could’ve handled some situations better I do not believe in the slightest that I should have kept silent and just endure it and stop moaning about it (like when this one guy from a different company was verbally abusing me) much less that I was always the ‘problem’ (as they used to tell me so often).

So basically, I’ve decided that I’ve done my best as much as I could do in the given moment and that this wasn’t such a time waste but a lesson that I can refer back to and that I will tell people to f*ck off if they ever think that I’m not enough and I’ll try my hardest to make things work in my new country of destination.
