Bellatrix scoffed. ‘Black is a colour.’

‘It’s not, it’s a shade.’ Hermione corrected.

Thinking the conversation was over, Bellatrix rolled over, snuggling into Hermione’s side.

‘I think you’d look good in red.’ Hermione continued. As she spoke, her hand trailed up Bellatrix’s thigh, pulling her black nighty up around her hips.

‘So pretty against your skin,’ she continued, her fingers continuing on their path, finding Bella’s clit. Bellatrix gasped as she pressed down gently, moving her fingers in slow, barely there circles.

‘Would you wear red for me?’ Hermione purred. Bellatrix squirmed under her touch, desperate for more.

more miscellaneous stats for HP fics updated in 2022 (pt1 here). no logical flow or order here, just me chasing random thoughts with the frying pan sophisticated stats tool that is google sheets. starts with femslash, ends with wolfstar & friends.

BELLAMIONE lmfao. singlehandedly holding down the fort!! with 119 out of the 513 works, that single pairing is providing >20% of the E-rated F/F+otp:true content hahaha.

cissamione is a lot more balanced/representative of "general femslash" ratios, interestingly enough, so it's not just the age gap effect here

ginmione was surprising too, nearly 30% of works were E-rated!

linny was no surprise from the other end of things, >50% of works were G and >75% of works were G/T-rated. our flagship soft childhood-friends-to-lovers femslash ship haha.

marylily and dorlene similarly had a low % of E-rated fics, and (surprisingly?) pansmione too.

wrt the main archive warnings: dorlene was the most common ship in F/F+otp:true works warned for "major character death." bellamione swept the others, including CNTW. most common ship where "no warnings apply" was pansmione, followed by linny.

this is probably entirely a coincidence but too funny to not mention: dramione and snarry actually resemble each other in proportion split (lowest % of G- and highest % of E-rated fics), and drarry and sevmione resemble each other

the two james ships, jegulus and jily, are the two ships with the lowest % of E-rated fic, and wolfstar is tied third with grindeldore. era reversal here, with people writing more hogwarts-era marauders gen vs postwar lightning gen?

interesting: more likely to tag multiple relationships = less likely to select a rating -- why?? i would've expected the opposite.

also, significantly less of both G and E rated fic where multiple pairings are tagged! unsure how to interpret. the otp:false fics are the ensemble focus longfics with M-rated plot-driven smut rather than PWP?

88% of things tagged Dorlene are also tagged Wolfstar (and 86% of Marylily, and 84% of Rosekiller);

vice versa, 1% of things tagged Dramione are also tagged Wolfstar.

exact numbers are 63% of Jegulus and 56% of Jily, 22% of Remadora, and Reg&Sirius is about the halfway mark.

How many works do you have on AO3?

i was not aware that i had seven written and posted?? that's wild :0

2. What's you total AO3 count?

31,822 words?? also a massive surprise since i don't write or post nearly as often as i'd like...but hey, i'll take the win!

3. What fandoms do you write for?

okay, so obviously supercorp lives rent free in my head, but i'm also deeply entrenched in the cissamione and bellamione fandoms. i've got a fuck ton of wips for them, but i haven't put much out yet. however, recently, rojarias (reignjas) has been taking up ALL my brain space—i'm dying to write a lawyer au.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

erm. well, since i only have seven, i'll give you the top two? 1st: i'm home when i'm with you...2nd: this color looks better on you than me

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

i used to be really into and really good about responding to comments because i really appreciate every single one (and i still do) but it took a lot out of me and made me a little anxious, so i don't do it anymore. that being said, i still love and cherish every single comment that's ever been left!

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

i'm really not the biggest fan of angsty endings, so i don't write them very much. i'd much prefer piling on the angst throughout and giving them a happy ending. there's too much sadness and grief in the world already, i feel like everyone should get a happy ending.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

oo, okay, i'm not sure about happiest since they feel pretty even, but if i really had to pick maybe oh how love stings?

8. Do you get hate on fics?

i don't currently, which i think is in part because of how lovely most people in the fandoms i'm in now are, but years ago i wrote a dramione fic and people had a lot (which wasn't necessarily hate, but it was still unnecessary) to say about that.

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

i've tried on occasion, but let's just say i'm still working out the kinks (pun intended)

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

i don't and i don't think i will anytime in the near future because i feel like a lot of planning will have to go into that and i don't have the brain space right now. but secondly, i don't feel an immediate urge to merge any two worlds currently.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

luckily, no, not that i'm aware of—hopefully it stays that way!

12. have you ever had a fic translated?

i've had someone ask in my comments before, but as mentioned above i don't really answer comments and i'm still not sure if i'm entirely comfortable with translations even if it allows a larger audience access to the fic.

13. have you ever cowritten a fic before?

i was working on one with @glitterslytherin a few years back, but we never quite got much of it finished haha

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

it's gotta be supercorp, but currently, rojarias and cissamione have me in a chokehold (i suppose i'm on my supercorp detox atm? maybe i'll be able to churn out fics after this little break)

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

i think this applies to all my WIPs to be honest. obviously i want to finish them all, but motivation is a bitch and she tends to come and go as she pleases XD

16. What are your writing strengths?

i'd like to think i do a pretty good job with dialogue. i used to be better at descriptions, but i think the balance has tilted the last couple of years.

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

being able to just write and not edit on the way (another reason i rarely finish things) also planning is very much not my forte💀

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

while i am bilingual and almost trilingual, i do tend to stick with english since i feel like it's jarring to have a bit of a different language suddenly pop up and then the reader has to read the translation. and two, i'm not even grammatically accurate in english all the time, so forget about another language!

19. First fandom you wrote for?

oh, this is so mortifying...i believe it was percy jackson, but following closely behind was harry potter.

20. Favorite fic you've ever written?

i don't think i love any of the fics i have out at the moment—like, don't get me wrong, i'm super proud of them—but there's not one finished one that parades in my head all the time. the rojarias lawyer au and a supercorp orchestra au are constantly being thought about though?

my favourite bellamione headcanon is bellatrix secretly loving all the muggle stuff hermione brings into their house. like she so doesn't want to love it but she can't even hide how much she likes watching telly. also just bellatrix and crookshanks getting along, joint annoying hermione

i can't remember exactly how i started shipping lou and rose i know it happened late 2021, i think i saw a picture of them together and just had an oh moment, and then when i searched ao3 there was ONE fic! which was lou x everyone and of course i loved the rose section, and then i begged people to write for them for a few months and then just ended up writing it myself. all of that to say its was 0 to 100 so quickly i went from not having heard of them to needing every single picture and gif and headcanon

i'm going to rant about lou and rose in the hopes that it'll get me back in their mindset but i just love the dynamic they have like even in fics that arent lou/rose lou often has a soft spot for rose and looks after her and even in the film she's touchy feely with her and i just think lou is so rough around the edges and not necessarily stoic but more 'feelings are gross' and then rose feels every emotion and instead of being annoyed at her lou embraces it!! and i feel like lou helps rose come out of her shell and be more confident!

also i love thinking about rose being older than lou but at the same time shyer and less experienced i just love that dynamic for them

also in terms of smut i have never seen a couple who screams exclusively a top x pillow princess more than them and i love that for them

Are there any HP ships that squick you out?

Um…well, I ship Bellamione and Cissatrix, and I love Blackcest, so I think it is safe to say that I will read anything once. I am down with reading anything as long as the characters aren't severely underage.

I was reading a fic not too long ago, that had a cool summary but once I got to like the third chapter, I completely checked out. Harry was in his second year, being raised by Bellatrix and Tom. It was supposed to be this dark, psychological fic about nature v nurture, with morally grey dynamics but ended up being this weird smut/harem fic centered around SECOND YEAR Harry and adult Bellatrix and other adult witches with almost zero plot. It just wasn't my cup of tea at all and completely weirded me out, and it takes a lot to weird me out. never again.

I will add that I've read blackcest fics centered around the Black's childhood, which I didn't mind because they were written very well and did not center around pure smut.

A/N : Of course I can, I need to write more Bellamione sob, I hope this is kinda what you were hoping for, I wasn't 100% sure what to do for this. This also has a bit of possessive Bellatrix but mostly soft and sweet Bellatrix who just wants to be loved because I can. I was also used inspiration from @houseuponthehills ao3 fanfic, tell me I've gotten it wrong I believe is the one I'm thinking of.

Rundown : Hermione had come home upset, and after learning who had hurt her, Bella was determined to do something about it. A faint disagreement between the two, soon turning into something more.

"I'm going to kill that wench," Bellatrix snarled as she pushed past Hermione, who was quick to grab her hand in an attempt to try and stop the witch from whatever foolish action she was going to make next. Both of them knew that whatever Bellatrix was going to do, it wasn't going to end well. It had been Ginny that had spat words of distaste towards the relationship, words that brought Hermione home in a mess of tears that brought Bella to this rage, how dare anyone say such a thing to her. Bellatrix was going to kill that brat!

"Bella... Please," Hermione choked out to her, dark eyes looking to the older witch, pleading her to not make this any worse than it already was. The relationship wasn't exactly something Hermione's friends were happy with, and in all honesty, Hermione didn't care too much about it, she had someone that cared about her. Bellatrix hadn't been getting her to stop seeing them or anything like that, and she understood where they came from with their opinions, but still. It was her life, not theirs.

Bella stopped in her steps by the words, by the grab of her hand, her dark eyes burning with hate, with anger. "You can't do this... I won't let you." The words were stern, almost as if it had been an order, and before she knew it, her back hit the nearest wall. One of the older woman's strong hands pushed her hips into the wall, another moved to rest on the wall next to Hermione's head as Bella's head dipped down to face her.

"I don't need your permission."

The pair locked eye contact for a few moments, a stare down of who was in charge, till Bella's head dipped more, lips crashing against the soft skin of Hermione's neck, earning a faint gasp from her. "You're mine, pet, I won't let someone hurt you like that," Bellatrix mumbled against her skin before diving in again, teeth gently nipping at her skin, marking her.

"She's ~hmph, she's my friend," Hermione hummed out as the other nibbled away at her skin, frowning as she felt lips pulling away, soon coming face to face with the woman. Bella let her lips brush against the younger witches, who felt her heart flutter at the action.

"I won't hurt her, I promise," Bella said softly, dark eyes locking themselves on Hermione's soft lips. "I just want to talk to her is," she added on, "I promise, pet."

Hermione didn't know if she believed the other woman's words, she never just talked, there was always something more to it, but in all honesty, she wasn't going to argue about it, not now. Hermione could feel her heart flutter, and even worse, she could feel the need growing in between her legs. The older witch was the one to finally close the gap between them, lips crashing together. Both women leaned into the other, indulging in the taste of the other. "Let me take care of you, pet," Bella muttered softly, pulling away slightly from her lips, her dark eyes fluttering open as the hand pushing Hermione's hip into the wall tightened.

Hermione understood what she meant by the words, and nodded softly, "I trust you Bella, don't break that trust." The younger woman warned out to her as she felt Bellatrixes fingers fiddling with her skirt, not enough to move it, just enough to gesture to Hermione what she wanted at. The older woman looked down at her, dark eyes filled with an innocence, almost as if her gaze was screaming at her that the trust they had in each other would never be broken. "You may, Bella." Hermione hummed softly, her hands moving to carefully cup the older woman's face, in which she melted into the soft hands before slowly working on bunching up Hermione's skirt, harsh hands running along Hermione's thighs, these hands had killed people, had harmed people, made people beg for mercy, yet with her, they were gentle, filled with love.

Bella's touch was soft, taking in every part of her, her dark gaze still locked on the other as her hands danced along her skin, soon making their way further and further up till her slender fingers tugged at the fabric of her undergarments. "Do you love me, pet?" Bella cooed out to her as her slender fingers moved past the fabric, one finger running along the others slit. Hermione felt the rush of need go through her, Hermione nodded at the words, moving her hips with the slow movements of Bella's fingers, wanting more, needing more.

"Words pet."

The order that fell from Bella's lips made Hermione squirm more, "yes, I love you, Bella," it was a dumb question, of course she loved the other woman, why wouldn't she? The words, as dumb as they seemed, relaxed the still agitated Bella, she was still made at Ginny for doing such a thing to her beloved.

The words were rewarded with a finger slipping into her, hooking as it slowly moved in and out of her, earning a moan of approval from Hermione, who's hands moved from Bellas face, arms wrapping around her neck, fingers tangling themselves in greying hair. "Good pet," Bella praised softly to the other woman, adding another finger as her thumb found the little bundle of nerves. Finger fucking the younger woman, Bellas lips once again found Hermiones neck, eager to mark her once again, teeth gently nipping at skin as the moans of approval blessed Bellas ears. Hermione could feel the bliss building up within her as each thrust of her fingers brought her closer and closer to her undoing. "Go on pet, finish for me," Bella purred out to her once she could tell she was getting close, her talented thumb urging on her orgasm. Hermione tightened her grip on the others hair, hips grinding against the finger as she soon came undone, body tensing as she rode out her orgasm. "Good girl, you always are such a good listener," Bella praised again, pulling away from her neck to plant a kiss on her cheek. She hummed out to Hermione, who just softly nodded at the words. Bella slipped her fingers out, helping to fix Hermiones skirt for her before pulling away, it was the least she could after all.

"I love you pet, you do need to learn your place, you don't tell me what to do, perhaps a punishment is in order when I come home?"
