Last piece of the year is my art summary of the year! Thank you to everyone for joining me on this journey, one of many years to come when it comes to my little art business! This has been a dream of mine for years now, to be able to delve in all the way into my creative interests. Something that has always been such a compulsive hobby of mine, and one that has always brought me a lot of joy and comfort. So, for me to finally take the plunge and turn it into a business, fills my little heart with joy; even more so when I see others take an interest in my works, no matter the level of interaction. My goals for 2024: I have a large collection of minis that I have yet or have started the process of painting. Some repeated minis, as well as many new ones I'm excited to share. - LOTS more stickers! - I do have posters that are in the works - Potentially creating charms of some of my favourite sticker designs - Continue my Twitch streaming every Monday, which I adore doing and works very well with my ADHD where it is very much a hack for that parallel play itch. - Make business cards! - Open up digital art commissions I have also registered to vendor at Supernova for the first weekend of April, so there will be a lot of advertising and hustling on my end in the months ahead! This will be my first convention and I do have plans to vendor at more artist alley locations :) Again, a big thank you for everyone who supports me, every little bit means so much to me and is always a driving force to continue what I love doing. I hope the rest of this year treats you with kindness as I know it can be hard for a lot of people (myself included), so do your best to look after yourself and I love you all <333

good morning and merry christmas to those who celebrate  !  i'll be busy next weekend,  so i wanna say now that i'm absolutely GRATEFUL for all of my mutuals,  whether they followed me from my other blog or those who i met this year.  making this blog was the best decision i've made in my rp career and that wouldn't be true if not for those i befriended.  i learned a lot about myself and my priorities.  i am not sure if i'd be on my self-care / healing journey that i am on now otherwise,  so thank you,  beloveds  !  hope the last week of the year treats you well.  ♡♡

How I'm Navigating 2024 (Blorbo Edition)

I'm a big believer in the quality of life being vastly improved by the anticipation of good things to come (concerts, movies, anniversaries, hang-out sessions, etc.), so I like mapping out what I'm excited for.

And in terms of queer media, I'm pretty well sorted for the year. \:D/

And then when Untitled Vampire Series is over, I'll go into paroxysms of genteel screaming while I wait for whatever these two are doing:

and has to figure that out while dealing with a new crush, the end of high school and the queer club, and figuring out whether he definitely wants to train to be an ASL interpreter like his father

#Exit Plans for Teenage Freaks #aroaessidhe 2024 reads #this was def one that is just a short YA book to read that was available at the library and i’d seen it has an ace SC so why not #It's fine! a little silly and definitely quirky. felt very 2018-queer-ya #both in use of the random sf element and also like. mc has a big friend group in every flavor #talked about addressed queer discourse in a relevant way most of the time (ie what’s the difference between bi and pan? whatever u want) #I thought the inclusion of ASL and the MC planning to be an interpreter - and the steep learning curve of that - was interesting #I think the ace character was done mostly well but a) why did it bring it up in a way that his aceness inherently took him out of the MC’s #(as the ace char still goes on dates with boys) #and b) why was the ace character ostricised from the queer club and not the guy who was aphobic to him #The sf thing is a little random but I feel like it gelled ok. It fit pretty well within this subgenre of #‘contemporary YA with a little sff but the sff is just there for the MC’s journey and it’s still mainly contemporary ‘ #the whole secret agents thing was a bit silly. but also it kinda worked with the quirkiness.

My apologies for the late welcoming of the New year but it's better late than never right, lol. 😅

So 2023 will forever be remembered for me since it was the year I finally pushed my fears and doubts to the side and posted my first ever story/oneshot onto this platform, that being Extra Credit, professor Miguel O'Hara x Sassy Fem!reader.

I didn't think it'll get as much attention as it did, and it still surprises me the amount of love I'm given for the other oneshots and fanfics I released afterwards.

So I'm very thankful for 2023 since it was the year I created my blog and opened my writing to you lovely people. 2023 was also the year I've found my love and passion for writing, so I can't be more appreciative for the departed year. 🤧

So...2024? My plans? Goals? 🤔🧐

Firstly, I have a HUGE list of things I would like to write along with many asks that my lovely followers have requested; so I'll like to, first, complete the asks.

I have one of my ideas currently that I'm working on and once that's completed and posted for you all, I'll start working on asks. 😁

Also, I'm starting a new series which would hold oneshots based on kinks, so pretty much a kink series. The Stress Relief oneshot will be the first and I have a wonderful anon who have given me a lot more to begin as a ask; so if you are interested and will like to request one then just ask or DM me! ❤🙃

Lastly, I would like to get to know my followers more, that's another goal of mine this 2024 year.

Honestly, I'm kinda a chatterbox lol, and am deeply intrigued with how you all see my stories. I would love to hear more of your thoughts, ideas, interests and just get to know my followers more, in general. But overall that's mainly my 2024 goals for my blog, I know it's short but I'm not a person that can make goals and honestly stick with them. it’s finally starting to settle in that christmas is in 3 fucking days

Yesterday (March 23rd) was the 14th anniversary of President Obama signing the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law. It enabled tens of millions of Americans to get previously unobtainable medical insurance – especially those with pre-existing conditions.

Republicans derisively dubbed the ACA "Obamacare" in order to disparage it. But rather than making the law look bad, their nickname gave Barack Obama permanent credit for something enormously popular. As then Vice President Joe Biden told President Obama at the 2010 signing, "This is a big fucking deal!" – and it still is.

Republicans have tried countless times to repeal Obamacare. Donald Trump campaigned in 2016 on killing it and and replacing it with something "better". Of course he had no other healthcare plan to replace it with.

Now Trump is running again and still wants to abolish Obamacare. If you have been helped by Obamacare or know someone who has, let people know that keeping the orange pus ball with bad hair out of the White House is the best way to ensure your health for years to come.
