Both my gf and I have a beauty mark on our upper torso and arm, tho mine r in different spots

I think the kid saw the horse plush on the market and immediately fell in love - he is Geralts son after all. And as painful as it is sometimes, Jaskier doesn't hate Geralt. He certainly would enjoy seeing him suffer for a bit, but he doesn't want anything bad to happen to him either. You could even say he might still love him. So I think a big part of Jaskier really hopes that Geralt is roaming around somewhere, Roach at his side, and he doesn't need him to be happy (that would hurt) but I don't think he wants him to be unhappy either.
