My Frozen Collection - Part 1

As promised i will start to show my own collection now.

Here we go for the first part of my collection: Let's start with my DVD / 3D Blu-Ray Collection of the whole Frozen movie versions and Disney Movies so far i've collected up to now.

Because my native language is German i bought this editions first, but i have to say, watching the original version in English is much better and the lip synchronisation is perfect only with this language. Did you know, that the translation of the movie is different in German? Sometimes in that way, that the subliminal meaning of some dialoge is lost. I noticed that in the "Love Is An Open Door" scene on the balcony, when they started to talk about it and Hans bent over the balustrade. What he says in that moment in the English original, indicates in an subliminal way what he was after: the kingdom of Arendelle. The German translation, on the other hand, is soft-washed and the purest joke. The German subtitle of the movie says it all: "Die Eiskönigin - Völlig unverfroren", translated like "The Ice Queen - Totally blatant". That's really hard to translate in one word, because the real meaning of "unverfroren" is "in an indecent and ruthless way bold and unscrupulous". You see, the German translation lacks in the real meaning of the movie Frozen. Frozen is considered in Germany anyway only as a children's film. Adult fans are only laughed at, so I guess.

Okay...there are still missing some rare special editions, like the 4 Blufans lenticular 3D steelbooks, or the Korean Kimchi edition, but they are nearly priceless and i can't afford them until i will win a lottery some day (LOL). Also for a so incredibly beautiful limited Deluxe Edition of the Frozen OST on three vinyl picture LP's with large booklet inside...priceless meanwhile and very fragile to send it from the US to Germany.

Here shown on the picture are also the songs to the film in various editions (German, English, French), the audiobooks, sing-along versions and even a karaoke CD.

In the following picture you see my Disney-, Pixar-, Dreamworks movie collection and some others.

This is my favorite chair with Anna and Elsa in life size right behind me, always watching me while i read a book.
