I just realized we aready have a couple with a similar height difference like afo and inko in vigilantes and not only look they pretty cute together, but they also had a baby. Captain celebrity and his wife (pamela was it, right 🤔?) She looks like a child compared to him!

I am looking for a bnha dfo fic. Inko is diagnosed with cancer and she dies abut entrusts izuku to hisashi and she wants him to retire.

He becomes sort of a house husband. Becomes bffs? w tensei iida. Izuku goes to ua. Afo has a backstory of being AFO's clone? Son?

Allmight amd him are chill. The training camp is attacked and afo shows up scaring everyone. Kurogiri is dating one of the wild wild pussycats...

Tensei figures out hisashi is afo. Izuku is attacked at a hero convention by villains and afo takes care of them... But lets captain celebrity go unharmed cus he has a son too so afo understands.

Ithink afo punched emdevor in the face and helped rei and the kids to move and be safe. Izuku and tenya are childhood friends.

Thanks for the tag, @missrosegold! I’m limiting myself to my recent BNHA fics because I’ve never revealed my previous fandom name on here (I’ve shared it privately with some people though). I’m not hiding it, I’m just not keen on the idea of my older fanfiction being connected to my newer (mostly smutty) fanfiction or my original fiction.

Anyway! I’m not linking to these fics because I’m lazy but they can all be found on my Masterlist post.

1.) The League of Villains Heroes

This is my favorite despite having way fewer readers than practically anything else I’ve written. It’s not x Reader so that’s probably the issue. It’s about the LoV rebuilding their lives after the end of the story, going to therapy, getting jobs, starting families, etc. But of course they get roped into a new threat that might just turn them into reluctant heroes. I love it because it’s so cathartic to write, finally giving these broken characters the endings I feel like they deserve. And exploring Touya reconnecting with his family has been a delight.

2.) The Dark Carnival

This is a horror AU about the LoV as members of a traveling carnival/circus and the Readers who get mixed up with them. So far I’ve done Shigaraki, Mr. Compress, and Twice. Spinner and then Dabi are upcoming. I’m really fond of this one because of the horror elements. I’m a huge horror fan and much of my original fictions is either horror or horror-related. I’m also very into carnivals. I love visiting them in real life and I love stories about them. It probably started with Vampire Circus but then there was Carnivale, Funhouse, AHS: Freakshow, and various other movies/shows.

3.) Breaktime

This is a Shigaraki x Reader fic where Reader is a waitress with a crush on Shigaraki, whom she’s only seen on the news, until he comes into the bar she works at. This one is special to me because it’s the first BNHA fic I ever wrote and I had so much fun with it.

4.) Trending Topics

This is a Dabi x Reader I wrote to celebrate Dabi’s Dance being animated. By a stroke of luck, I managed to post the fic on the same day the episode aired. It was based on an idea that had been brewing in my head for at least a year beforehand, waaaay before I started writing BNHA fanfiction. I actually thought about submitting it as a request to other writers! But I never did, and now I’m glad I didn’t because I got to write it myself.

5.) The Pirate and the Mermaid

This is an AU Shigaraki x Reader fic where Reader is a mermaid captured by Shigaraki, a pirate captain. This one was a lot of fun and was inspired by a lot of fantasies I had as a little girl (minus the smutty parts). I used to dream of being a mermaid and being “caught” by a handsome human man. Then we’d fall in love. That’s about as far as my childish mind took it, but as an adult I could add all sorts of fun lol.

Is bhna the only popular hero franchise without powerless heros? Both DC and marvel have batman and ironman respectively and even one punch man technically has child emperor or king. Like it would so much more interesting for deku to receive all might's power only to realize the danger and try to grow and develop ways to fight without his powers, that way he wouldn't be caught static and pulling plot powers out of nowhere

Oh there is, but it's a character in the infinitely better spin-off series. Knuckle Duster used to be a Pro Hero until AfO stole his Quirk, and then he became a Vigilante and also the best mentor character in the series :)

If you've ever thought that BNHA was alright but wish (x) had been done or done better, I'd recommend Vigilantes just to see if the thing you missed was there all along. Koichi is a better protagonist than Deku, the cast is way less bloated, which helps on a lot of issues ppl may have with BNHA. Like due to the smaller cast, Pop☆Step and Koichi have much more time to develop as characters on their own and as a cute couple unlike Deku and Ochaco, who are caught in a cast of thousands. Also Midnight is an actual character and shit in Vigilantes. Oh and we even got an American superhero before the Star and Stripe with Captain Celebrity! Fucking love that idiot.

yes, shinsou is very aware that aizawa was using reverse psychology (”haha what a funny logical ruse” - aizawa every time) to encourage him to be a teacher, he did it anyway

shinsou took a lot of cues from aizawa’s teaching methods, i’m sure you can tell lol. he’s just a little (a lot) too soft to actually go through with aizawa’s signature techniques (expulsions, sleeping bags, etc.)

shinsou is 24 in this! it’s his first ever class to teach by himself - since he graduated from uni with a degree, he was a student teacher and helped aizawa with his classes, and took a bunch of extra courses, but now he’s been trusted with his own homeroom class and he’s terrified haha

btw: the blond kid is what i imagine captain celebrity’s son to be. his name is chris jr. i’m aware that he’s probably a couple years younger than the others in canon, since vigilantes is set ~5 yrs before the main manga, but i don’t really care. i wanted to have a silly american kid in the class to be clueless about japanese culture lol.

the green haired girl is tsuyu’s little sister, satsuki. (kouta is also in their class, but he’s not in this comic.)

I gotta go with my man, Rock Lock. It's been a while since I have and come on. Y'all know what month it is?!

My first impression: Bro asked about why kids were at a meeting about the yakuza and my first thought was "you have asked a very sensible question, I think I'm going to like you very much". I was right.

My impression now: Oh, Rock Lock is definitely in the top ten of my favorite MHA characters and after Miruko, he is my favorite Pro Hero.

Favorite thing about that character: I already took to him because of his personality. But I definitely admired the fact we have a family man here. I'm a sucker for badass dads who love their families.

Least favorite thing: My guy deserves more shine, just saying. Also, the fact that his wife and son don't have first names. I wanna know their names!

Favorite line/scene: Other than the hospital scene, which I'll talk about later, I gotta say his debut is one of my favorite scenes and I like this line he says "U.A. students or not, kids are kids. Of course I was worried about 'em." To me, it reflects that Rock Lock does have a caring heart. Even after that bit, he acknowledges that younger heroes like Midoriya just need room to shine to show what they're capable of. He's a guy who won't act like he doesn't care. He'll admit he's worried, but he'll still support you like an good person... a good parent will do.

Favorite interaction that character has with another: I want a whole segment of Rock Lock with his family. That hospital scene where his wife comes in running and crying with their son and how she just hugs him and the way he hugs back touched my heart so much! It's crazy to me, now that I'm thinking about it,screening! Pro Hero can I think of with a loving marriage and they barely have had screentime! Everyone else is either single or if they are married, there's problems (Endeavor and Captain Celebrity).

A character that I wish that character would interact with more: I wish, how I wish, him and Miruko had scenes together. They're both heroes who actually take being a hero seriously and you cannot tell me they wouldn't be besties. In my fic , There's Miruko, There's Rumi, they're friends and Miruko is Rock Lock's son's honorary aunt.

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character: I haven't seen all of Craig of the Creek, just a couple of episodes (I have younger siblings who watch it) but Rock Lock reminds me of Craig's dad. A man who cares about family and does his best for them? I'm here for it!!

A headcanon about that character: He definitely is that parent who attends birthday parties and PTA meetings (when Lil' Takagi goes to school). I headcanon that he and his wife went to school together and also had friends that live in the same area. In their adult years, some of them are married and have kids and whenever there's some party or play date, best believe the Takagi's are there.

A song that reminds of that character: I can't even think of one right now, but I'm gonna need NemRaps, DizzyEight, 954mari... anybody to make one!

An unpopular opinion about that character: I personally feel like Rock Lock is one the better heroes. Again, I hate that when he debuted the fandom was quick to hate on him and call him "mean" because he had a point. Why in the hell was kids dragged into a situation as dangerous ad dealing with the yakuza? And then it makes sense Rock Lock would think like that! He is a married man with a son of his own! And it wasn't like he didn't think Midoriya or anybody was capable because he does recognize their potential. What he's about is if you're going to take up a duty that can cost you your life, be serious about and not treat it as some game. It's funny to me that someone actually had the nerve once to compare him and Endeavor even though in season 5, Endeavor was quick to act like a brat because Bakugou and Midoriya was joining Todoroki for the Work Studies.

Favorite picture: I won't lie, I totally get why he is a married man. Also can we talk again about the hospital scene? They are a beautiful family!! 😭

He has one of my favorite redemption arcs in the whole BNHA universe

Him and his wife :,)

He literally went from media hungry super “hero” with sexual harassment lawsuits to the man who helped save 50k people and a community icon in a country he didn’t even have citizenship in

He became such a dad and so thrilled to have a kid

Drank his Respect Women juice but still can’t say things clearly

Also did his best to make basically his manager happy, and then did his absolute best to make her successful (even if that meant he was working his ass off)

Helped out others who made their community better for free and for the sake of helping them

Loves his wife
