here's an idea... training for Pro Hero at UA Kouta, despite being a #1 Deku fan, be becames the next Dynamight because of his angry and explosive attitude towards villains, and towards everyone. when he realizes this after the first Sports Festival, where he could see himself, he makes a huge decision. when the time to pick an agency came for his apprenticeship, while he wanted to pick Deku's so much, he ends up applying for Dynamight's.

this surprises Bakugou a lot, but he accepts him anyway. and he definitely doesn't expect the amount of great time he spends with Kouta.

there's even one video going around the internet of one day of their patrol training, called "The Explosive Brothers", when a villain tried to disturb the neighborhood and Dynamight and Kouta fought him with their distinctive and similar killer smiles in both their faces, where is clear how much they enjoy kicking villains asses.

Deku is so proud of Kouta he feels like crying eveytime he sees an edit of him and Kacchan's fights.

Now, hold your hands in front of you like you’re hugging a snowman.” He demonstrates the action for them and starts to straighten his feet as he says, “Flex your feet up towards the sky… Now point your toes in front of you.”

As he speaks, Eri walks between the boys, evaluating their form and occasionally helping one adjust his arms to the correct position. She gradually makes her way toward Kouta, and he tenses slightly when he feels her eyes on him. How dumb would it be if he messes up at a ballet exercise? He glances at Eri as Mr. Aizawa tells them to raise their arms into the air and reach forward to touch their toes.

Kouta does his best to reach his toes, but he’s barely able to grab his ankles, a frustrated frown tugging at his lips. “You’re not very flexible, are you?” Eri suddenly asks, her voice a whisper to avoid disturbing the others around them.

“Like you could do better?” he snaps.

Eri smiles before sitting next to him. She stretches her legs out in front of her and easily grabs her toes. Then, just to rub it in, she lays perfectly flat on her legs. “You’ve never done this before,” she says, “so it makes sense that you can’t reach. Just focus on feeling the stretch in your legs.”

You know what, it’s super interesting how Kouta reminded Izuku of himself AND Tomura

Izuku could see Kouta’s pain, how he was rejecting everything around him

And that reminded him of himself, how HE rejected the reality of his situation

And how Tomura has rejected the world around him

Just. idk. Smthg smthg the similarities of rejection Tomura and Izuku have felt, how that has effected them

How Kouta easily could have become a Tomura (hatred for society growing over time, seeing no point in heroes), how Izuku could have become a Kouta or Tomura (wanting to see his own way, still rejecting everything as he grew, or still waiting for someone to tell him the words he wanted and needed to hear)

And how Tomura could still become a Kouta

Someone who, through the hatred and sadness, was saved in the end and given the chance he needed

Y’know, I don’t know why I ended up thinking about this, but in a series as character-focused as BNHA, Muscular’s really weird. Not because he’s a flat character, every series needs at least a few of those, but how...he almost isn’t. Like:

He has a very interesting & thought-provoking philosophy he lives by; one which contrasts with both Deku & Shigaraki’s, but also the philosophy of Kota, a kid who’s parents he killed.

This philosophy is, in effect, just an excuse to just keep murdering people without hesitation or regret.

There’s some hints (well, hint, singular) that he may actually care about Shigaraki & the League.

He has never expressed explicit concern for another human being in his entire life.

He’s part of the main villain group, who just so happen to also be the most interesting parts of HeroAca.

Muscular has shown up 3 times + 1 flashback Deku had.

He’s just? As strong as All Might? For no discernible reason? Like, that legit makes him one of the most powerful characters in the series I hope you realize.

He has gotten into 2 major on-screen fights and got his butt handed to him both times.

The idea that Shigaraki and the League might care about him in turn (which, knowing them, they probably would & do) would present an interesting conflict within the idea of the heroes reconciling with the League.

No one has expressed concern for him even once either, due to, again, him only appearing 3 times.

He’s like the most almost-interesting one-dimension character ever. I’d really love to see the series do something with him on the off-chance it still can.

Can I just say I absolutely love the tiny little smile Shouto has when he lights the fire for the girls? It's just too precious. -I just suddenly forgot how to spell precious and literally had to think of Gollum from LOTR to remember...-

Kouta and Izuku bonding! :D ...They have way more to relate than I intended but then it just fit and I'm all hell yeah let's make them friends. I just love how Kouta connects to Midoriya in canon with the letter and the shoes. Not sure what will happen with them yet in BC but we'll see! ^____^

Uh oh. The League be creepin'. Camp is about to get...interesting. :P Dabi is still pissed at Izuku because he has no idea of his connection to Stain. Just wait, dear readers. I've got a fun thing planned for that interaction. ;) Among others... Oh I'm just so excited for the coming arc! The fluff! The drama! All of it! Wee!
