So, how do you start? I know so many people say that Wicca isn't "one size fits all", but I genuinely don't know where to start or what to look for, or what to do.

Understandable! There's a lot of information out there and a lot of paths and subjects to choose from. It's easy to feel overwhelmed.

In my experience, the best way to start is to pick something that already interests you and start there. It doesn't have to be bound to a particular path or belief system or type of magic. You can just go, "Hey, I like plants, I'm going to learn about plants," or whatever your preference is, and go from there.

As you're researching whatever bit of the craft strikes your fancy, pair it with some practical research to provide a bit of context. With the plants example from before, you might look into plant-based spells and green witchcraft, but you'll also want to read up on botany and dendrology and perhaps pick up a field guide to local plant species.

Or, if you're approaching things from a deity angle, pick a mythology or pantheon that interests you and learn about that. There's no need to pick anyone or anything or start venerating or making offerings right away - you can just research until you find something that feels right. And again, pair it with practical research on culture and religion, as well as the geographic location of origin, if it's different from your own.

Once you've got yourself a foothold in a subject that interests you, pick something else and study that. If a topic holds your interest, explore it and make connections to other things you've learned or would like to learn. (Taking notes or journaling will help you keep track of your progress.) If a topic doesn't hold your interest or turns out to be something that's not to your liking, put it aside and try something else.

It sounds simple, but it takes some getting used to. You'll run into dead ends and there will still be a certain amount of discernment, critical thinking, and prioritizing that you'll need to do along the way, but it becomes easier as you go.

In all things, know your science, know your religion, and know your history. This will make things SO much easier in the long run, because it will allow you to build a strong knowledge base and a good bullshit detector.

My favorite part is when they put intact leaves and the caterpillars in a faraday cage (YEAH) still sealed up, but with airflow to a non-wounded plant, which then produced chemical defenses (VOCs) as if it was being chewed. Those VOCs are different than those produced by mechanically damaged plants too! This process can start in seconds, which is amazing! (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.plantsci.2012.08.006)

They’re referred to as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and this is one way plants communicate, from cells to forests. The first time I learned this in botany I’m pretty sure it was Zebelo et al., they put tomato plants in gas-controlled chambers and fed filtered air in, took out samples and leaves. They had a species of caterpillar (Spodoptera litura) eat some of the plants, and identified the VOCs they produced, a control group, and a group that was mechanically damaged (“chewed”).

The other experiment we talked about was Song et al. (2010), which showed that VOCs traveled through mycorrhizal networks (fungal networks, usually Glomeromycetes)! (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.plantsci.2012.08.006)

…So could you say Poison Ivy has seductive pheromones?

But idk! I don’t think it’s that simple! Are the humans targeted as pollinators? Sex pheromones are ideally between members of the same species so I might call BS if her “plant powers” are the cause, unless they have a specific function. The only comparison I can think of off the top of my head is how some orchid flowers looked like bees? Idk any botanists are welcome to derail this, flowering plants are not my forte. I feel like flirting is/would be enough.

Realizing that, now that i've made a modern genshin dr, i'll get to experience CR life with my favorite people. Just without all the bs.

My trauma will still be there but with safeguards in place to keep my current situation, minus the few good things, from happening.

I'll get to wake up and roll over to texts from Xiao and Rain and get to roam a new city with Venti after college classes and dance in the summer rain with Yoimiya while the street lights light up and the smell of rain on fresh asphalt....

I'll get to go to Xiao's backyard and laugh with Xiao as the fireflies light up the darkening summer night.

I'll get to tall Venti why i dislike alcohol and get to hear him say it isn't and never was my fault.

I'll get to whack Ajax on the back of the head playfully after he and Cyno make really corny jokes during a terrible tv show...

I'll get to see Tighnari's ears flick as we walk down a darkened country road as the moon and stars hang overhead and he rambles about his botany major and how collei, his little sister who is friends with my sister amber, is always learning new things from him and that he's so proud to be her older brother.

I'll get to be home here before i get to be home in the og genshin timeline....and that is such a blessing that shifting has given me

The Muse Trifecta and Nature

Personal stuff got me thinking about the environment so here’s an off-the-beaten-path sorta headcanon sooo lessgoooo:

Xigbar

Doesn’t really think about nature much at this point. When he was still a wee Luxu he was awestruck by its wonder and beauty, but now Xig has too many other things to deal with. Like Fate and Destiny and BS Old Men Obsessed with the Apocalypse or Whatever. So he enjoys it, but like.. at a normal level. Hiking and camping and birdsong is cool tho, and when an animal is cute, it's just... it's cute okay, let an old man think a baby bunny is cute :/

Kuja

ADORES nature—but only for its aesthetic value, in canon and in AUs. In his main verse, he even has a menagerie in his Palace that works as a biome and is thus self-sustaining—located underground so it’s like… magical and fantastical and gigantic—with an artificial “sun” and so on. Of course, he only cares to curate it with the ~loveliest and most ~enchanted flora and fauna, and is very picky about the color palette. In the end, it's really all to cater to his personal vanity.

Perhaps a shock and surprise, but he's actually legitimately fascinated by nature. ...Though, admittedly it’s on a rather morbidly objective level, his primary interests involving witnessing growth, death, and decay. ...And uh, to clarify, though, all three stages apply to plants, and only the latter two apply to animals (but we’ll not step into describing that territory here).

This intrigue started all the way back in his youth, where he showed an affinity for studying all the flowers and bugs around the town, and was given a space in the shed next to his house, all to himself, to nurture plants and collect various insects, which he would pin to boards once they died, and his dad thought this was all great because wow! He’s not causing trouble everywhere he goes! And isn’t threatening the other kids! Which was why I pulled him out of school! But of course dad eventually found out it was hardly an innocent hobby that stopped at just insects and was actually MUCH WORSE than he could have imagined. :| One thing leads to another and his dad is dead, oops. But hey, he’s now got a whole shelf of nature-oriented books, and his alchemical notes are in a book disguised as a botany textbook!

Preshuffle: I’m getting a self-taught energy from you. Something really lights your fire, gets you excited, you genuinely like this topic, feels like something practical or work related. With your eyebrow raised 🤨 I’m not sure if this is regarding “the system”, Hierophant energy of “this is the way”, education on its own, could even be political with the eagle for those from the US. You’re free of it, or separate from that, maybe just want to be. This can go deep deep, but the point is it wasn’t your thing. Or you’re skeptical.

With the following cards & oracles, this is more of a confidence thing for you. You don’t feel like you can afford, pull off, last, or finish something you’ve probably already put a lot of work into. Or like say, a high school kid being asked “what do you want to study & do for the rest of your life?” Young Sag is like “I don’t know what I want to do next week much less forever.” You could have personal experience with these things that just didn’t go well, so you’re not eager to keep beating a dead horse (or kill a horse’s spirit I heard, you being shown as the horse). Money issues can play a big role in this too, not only do you not know but certainly not enough to go into debt over it 😥 Or what you like is…not something worth all of these pentacles, in your mind. Some of you may have tried before and left due to money, outside bs, whatever the reason. 3 Swords shows heartbreak and having no other choice, so either you think you can’t, or something has happened before to where you couldn’t, and it killed your confidence/desire to in the first place, it’s also possible you have like half of a degree, or an Associate’s (USA), but the money comes with the rest of it - you could feel you have no choice, or options, whether you do or don’t. Some of you are trying to access faith in something to steer you in a direction, due to something that’s broken your heart, you aren’t feeling yourself and all of the chips are stacked against you - in your mind.

Some of you have gone through a major ending with a romantic relationship, could also be a work partnership of some kind. You and another, working in tandem, however the connection. Now you’re solo feeling like…”fk, now what?” You feel like anything you do is just going to fail, so you don’t do anything to try to fix the situation, you just give up on it. This also feels like advice on what *needs to* end, The Star is the light at the end of the tunnel and it finishes your reading, that’s a good sign. You’re being led back towards your path, have faith - in whatever you want to believe in or don’t. Adaptability can be a suggestion, if you don’t want to believe in church okay, just entertain the idea that *maybe* something has your back, and it’ll either be proven to you or not. It’s comforting in this energy, hurt tends to be what leads people here at all. Like the initial clarifiers show, 3 Swords & 7 Cups rev, when hurt/broken people feel they have no options…they may turn to religion, something. Or that’s when the messages start coming in. It’s important to believe in something, especially yourself.

9 Pentacles:

Solo energy, being financially stable alone, buying yourself whatever you want, when you want, having enough and then some. Could be what you want, or what someone else has that you want, Queen of Cups could be someone close to you. Or the one leaving. Again I’m seeing a pair, a duo, or group. It can be love, for most it’s like a business partnership, friend, sibling. Some of you may have more money after a partnership ends, or say you own a company of some kind and sell it, this can show that you’re receiving a lot for what you’re selling. But now what? Maybe you’ve graduated, or a romantic partner has, and you’re helping pay loans. Could be a parent or child support too, maybe a tax check or credit, some of you may be using this to further your education or you’re considering it. If not a gift (shown as given to you) then it’s a loan you’re taking out…maybe for the second time. Whatever this situation is, it’s not the first time you’ve dealt with this. Or some of you may be getting a lump sum of money and just spending it frivolously instead of on the things that it needs to be spent on, like student loans.

7 Pentacles:

Some of you are definitely being frivolous with money, spending it all here and there on random amusements, nothing logical or where it counts. You’re waiting for that, rather than taking action. When the fun is over and there’s no more money left, now we gotta get to work and be logical. 6 Pentacles at the bottom may be a gift, or you’re being generous to another person, could be a lover. Paying for school, or they could be doing this for you. Maybe they’re offering even and you’re not sure what you even want to do, if you want to be “in debt” to anyone. Or committed to this. Not thinking you can do it, not confident. Could be your parent too, you don’t want to owe people in case you fk it up, but that’s assuming you fk it up, I guess the point here is *why* do you assume you will fail? Or your person, a kid, parent, friend, whoever. Someone is really supportive and the other person is not confident. Could be someone single that’s waiting around for love to come in instead of being about money, responsibilities, etc. Could be both things, having tried and failed, you don’t want to get back up again “it’s just going to fail”.

Knight of Pentacles:

555 on the clock as I start this row…conflicts. Even if it’s inward, and it looks like yours is. You could have put someone else first for a long time, or again worked within a team dynamic. You and a partner, group, romantic, friendly, family, whoever. You never really thought about yourself or what you wanted because you didn’t want that at the time, or maybe never thought you’d be on your own. This could’ve lasted a long time, I’m seeing a sibling for someone, maybe an actual twin or that’s the vibe. Or a whole family, a whole office, a close-knit pair or group that didn’t act individually. One affects all, that’s your mentality. Even this Queen of Wands rev, upright, she is confident in herself, focused on the SELF, Aries energy. You’re not like that or never had to be, but now you have to be for any number of reasons. One person may affect the whole chain, and everything changes - Wheel of Fortune.

The Star:

Matt Mello night out (or staying in but with takeout & weed/alcohol) headcanons gimme.

Omg yessss <3 so I've said before that they probably don't go out much... so some random staying-in headcanons:

+ Mello likes tequila and Matt likes fruity drinks lol. Mello also refuses to use chaser/mixer cuz it "makes you look like a pussy." When they DO go out and the server assumes the fruity drink is for Mello he gets mad. They both like beer in the summer cuz who doesn't. Mello doesn't drink vodka cuz it makes him angry drunk. And while that's kinda rare he does get belligerent a lot. This is the only time he has unhooked Matt's Playstation mid-game and the only time Matt got so mad he denied Mello sex </3

+ Matt grows his own weed (duh) and knows a lot about botany/horticulture because of it. He doesn't trust anybody else, hates waiting for a hookup, and likes the best quality shit so he figured he might as well. And weed is really hard to find in Japan.

+ Matt is stoned literally 25/7 to the point that he only ever notices if he ISN'T because he's forced to be sober for some reason. Mello smokes occasionally but usually just as a companion to drinking cuz he's definitely the kind of bitch who bogart the whole thing and then gets really paranoid about the cops.

+ When Matt gets to pick the movie (25% of the time) it's always something like Die Hard or some nerdy superhero/action bs that Mello hates/talks over and critiques the entire time. When Mello picks the movie it's a war documentary or some art house film that makes Matt so confused and bored he pulls out his PSP/falls asleep.

+ When they DO go out, Mello loves going clubbing <3 someplace super dark and grimy with plenty of alleys to go do blow and give Matt handjobs in <3 Matt hates all the crowds but Mello always manages to score him molly within the first five minutes of their arrival and then he's happy to listen to music and grind on Mello's ass all night <3

Headcannons for Simon?

ok so these are definitely not in any particular order because nothing on this account is organized (for a lot of these - just imagine he like,,, didn’t die)

• he’s the middle(ish) child of 8 siblings which include 4 sisters (2 older, 2 younger) and 3 brothers (1 older, 2 younger)

• his family has a few standard pets (cats, dogs, whatever) but he also owns a ball python, 2 leopard geckos, and a rose hair tarantula, all of which he takes care of himself

• his mom owns a small local flower shop where she allowed simon to work at with her once he was 14

• he’s filipino, spanish, and english - his mom being half spanish, half english, and his dad being 100% filipino

• he’s an alto in choir, but also often sings soprano

• has an iron deficiency and will sometimes have to excuse himself from class/other activities to eat something real quick or take an iron supplement and chill for a second

• he’s taken piano lessons all throughout his childhood and had become extremely talented on it

• also did ballet lessons as a young teenager, but felt insecure being the only boy in the group (dw he loved doing it and made lots of friends cuz i said so)

• plans to major in botany/plant biology

• he’s a vegetarian

• prefers to eat his lunch in the library instead of the cafeteria

• baking is one of his favorite hobbies, and sometimes he’ll bring homemade treats for the choir

• did front ensemble in secondary school where he played the marimba

• volunteers at animal shelters whenever he can

• that kid that gently carries bugs outside instead of killing them™️

• he knows how to crochet and knit (100% will make tiny sweaters for your pets)

• is very intelligent, but only gets Bs and Cs in school because he has trouble paying attention (would much rather doodle on his paper or stare out the window)

• hand-makes gifts for his friends on holidays or for their birthdays

• overall just a sweetheart if that wasn’t made clear already

No actually I will inflict random search and rescue AU upon you because I can

Vi has the best record for finding kids, to the point where if a child goes missing they're always like aight someone get Vi

Caitlyn is their K9 team and her dog is just this stubborn Malinois named Sniper (bc her dog must be called that in every au idc) but he listens to her suspiciously well

Caitlyn is also an ex cop that got fired, to put it mildly, after she got her nose too deep in the new Sheriff's corrupt business

Vi went to prison and then did self defense lessons for a while before being a full-time SAR officer

Jinx is their best climber hands down. If they find someone stuck on a cliff or a tree or something she's on

She even has her monkey as a patch on her uniform

Ekko and Jinx are the best team to fix up any sort of malfunction. And their radios get fucked up a lot. They're really tired of that bs

Ekko also has a secret passion for botany and can recognize every species of plants that grow in the park

He's really fond of fireflies too

Vander is their boss and best dad

Benzo is like the chaotic uncle whose life purpose is to embarrass Vander

Ex military Mel who got utterly sick of the pressure put on her by her mother and just wanted a job helping people

She and Caitlyn are actually acquaintances bc of Jayce and like to swap stories about shit colleagues

There's this big white wolf living in the park that they nicknamed Warwick. They're like 60% convinced it's actually a ghost but they got bigger things to deal with

One time it followed Jinx but she also carries snacks with her everywhere so take that as you will

Jinx got her name from a rescue mission that went very very wrong and she was accused of having jinxed it. She later adopts the nickname and insists it actually brings good luck

Jinx and Cait are also like... friendly rivals of sorts

Like Jinx will wingwoman for the two disaster lesbians but also somehow get her hands on embarrassing baby pics of Caitlyn and tape them in the main office

Oh did I mention this is horror by the way

They really are sick of the radios acting up

Sniper adores Jinx for some reason. Which is fine and dandy until she gets a big slobbery lick on her face. Does Caitlyn let it happen? Maybe but you got no proof

The first time they're searching for someone together and Sniper points up a sheer cliff before losing the scent, Caitlyn is utterly confused. Vi just lets out a tired sigh and says "not this shit again"

Listen to me. The women of arcane wearing cargo pants. You're welcome

Don't touch the stairs in the woods. Nope. No.

Ok should probably mention that one, I don't really know much about being a sar officer and I'm either winging or changing stuff for the narrative. And two, if stuff sounds familiar that's because it's heavily inspired by the "I'm a search and rescue officer" series of stories. They're one of my absolute favorite pieces of horror and I def recommend giving it a read or a listen on yt

(Made it a Barbie poster just to spite the Barbie movie for being Anti-Native)

Genuinely burned out but I still want to have something for Trinity for Native American Heritage Month.

Trinity Metuktire is from the Kayapo tribe, I have this as the tribe that Nathan is related to because I don't like the fact that he was related to a fictional tribe.

I do appreciate that they tried to give him some diversity to him though.

Trinity is Nathan's cousin, Nathan's mother was the result of an unfaithful husband who happened to be the chief at the time, Trinity's mother was the result of the chief's marriage to his wife.

Trinity's spirit animal is a deer, her birthday is May 29, 1977.

Trinity can be described as harsh, brash, very blunt, and mean.

She is very serious when it comes to people threatening the Amazon forest, which is something the tribe Irl is constantly fighting.

And is very passionate about her tribe and heritage.

In my headcanon, the episode where the boys travel to the Amazon forest to reconnect with Nathan's heritage takes a similar plot to the Pepper Ann Native episode where Nathan finds out that he's a quarter Kayapo and thinks based on misinformation and misleading documentaries that is spread that they act a certain way.

Upon meeting with Trinity though (Charles was able to figure out they were related upon a DNA test on Nathan that he sent into an ancestry site) she teaches the boys that the misinformation they learned is not true at all.

She teaches them actual knowledge of their culture like body painting rituals Trinity helps out with that the boys find to be pretty brutal.

She also teaches them botany which is what the tribe excels at in real life.

Trinity also reveals that she learns from other Native American tribes on her travels around the world to bring her tribe's situation to the public.

That's where she learned beading from, the Navajo tribe.

Toki falls in love with her over her ability to stand up for him when others decide they want to make fun of him and the fact that she takes no bs from him or the band.

She didn't realize he fell in love with her until she saw how he acted when she beaded him something because like Nathan she tends to give blank expressions and is oblivious when someone falls for her.

Nathan was upset with the fact that he might be related to Toki if Trinity decides to marry him and Skwisgaar was mad that he was losing his pupil to some girl.

So both tried to team up and try to split them up.

But that didn't work as Trinity was able to see through both of their bs.

my bread and butter rn: a secret, hidden relationship. i just love the idea of keeping a desperately close-knit relationship tightly under wraps, fumbling the bag, and that information very much being used against Muses A & B. there's nothing like having something you were secure in knowing was safe being exploited, or one or both of the muses going batshit feral to protect each other.

a tag-along for the gory hayride that is kaede's Inunaki Arc. largely for the deepening of an existing relationship, something that bridges that last gap between them. perhaps some tragedies could be avoided 👀

no lie, i really actually want a 'verse' where kaede gets involved with the main storyline. not sure where he'd fit in, but i think it would be neat to explore

in verses past, he was a researcher (botany and virology). it'd be pretty cool to have him study cursed objects, anomalies, and other such cursed phenomenon, instead of...yknow. effectively killing himself every day on the battlefield. he can worry about everyone from the sidelines for once !

I now present to you all: Ivy Buckingham!! One of my older OCS that I haven't drawn or (sadly) paid much attention to ever since I created her around 2018-2019! Luckily now she looks ever better than she did before!

(more in-depth info will be below)

Owner of a semi-popular flower shop that resides in Bright Light City and across the street from Wispy and Dave's apartment complex, Ivy Buckingham is a species of skunk called the Plant Skunk

A special species of skunk that instead of omitting a foul oder like most skunks do, the plant skunk will alternatively omit a pleasant scent similar to many types of flowers and fauna, having their own scent special to them to tell each other apart (for example for Ivy, her scent smells of roses) and they also are seen having a certain plant specific to the individual plant skunk wrapped around their tails (for Ivy, she has Ivy vines wrapped around her tail). On top of that, they are also very well known to have elemental abilities that are connected to plants and the earth, hence being able to grow plants with nothing but their paws and tail

Ivy had moved to Bright Light City from a small country town that was very well known for their farming, agriculture, and most of all, their flowers and fauna to start a life of her own and to expose the city folks to the beauty of nature via her plants. She was 22 years old when she arrived in Bright Light City and met Wispy and Dave while she was finding her way around the city and had just so happened to walk into the Millenni-Yum to ask for directions to her new home at the time, Wispy having an instant crush on her since

The flower shop that she had opened a year later is called The RoseLace Flower Boutique, which specializes in flowers, succulents (such as cactuses, aloe), and evergreen climbing vines (such as ivy plants, star jasmine, and clematis). The shop has been featured in a few gardening and home decorating magazines and has had a feature on a popular gardening tv show called Rose Tinted Sundays with Ms. Daisy Duke

Wispy and Ivy are both currently crushing on each other and they both love to tease each other, whether it be by flirting on Ivy's part or saying outrageous bullcrap on Wispy's end. Due to the both of them still feeling like they still need time for themselves and their careers (for Ivy at least) and both still wanting to date other people (they're both poly anyhow so even when they do start officially dating, they would still be WILDIN), they are only on a super casual dating status

To describe Ivy's personality in the simplest of terms: she's simultaneously a southern belle and a party girl all in one. She loves having a good time in any way she can (from taking care of her plants to going to the nightclubs around the city to party) and is very well known for her flirtatious manner towards those she finds an attraction to all while still being down to earth, level headed, and very intelligent despite how she presents herself and will not take any sort of BS she feels she doesn't have to deal with

Notes:

She has graduated college with a degree in Botany/Plant Sciences

One of her favorite nightclubs in Bright Light City to go to is The Uranium Banana, Bright Light City's biggest and most famous nightclub of all. It is also Wispy's favorite nightclub and they frequently bump into each other there

She has a childhood best friend that is from and still lives in her hometown named Melly Lynn, who is a watermelon farmer there. They send each other letters pretty much every week or so

Her father was a farmer while her mother was a florist in their hometown, her mother even owning her own flower shop there, which was what inspired Ivy to open The RoseLace

Her favorite kinds of plants and flowers are roses, ivy, hen and chicks, aloe, clematis, star jasmine, daisies, buttercups, irises, daffodils, and carnations

She lives in a small condo that is right next to the RoseLace, so going to and from work for her is a breeze!

thank you so so so much for the detailed ask!!! i've recently considered going into that field and that information / suggestion is super helpful for my decision :) i didn't know you were a biology major! that's so cool! how has it been so far? what kind of courses you took in high school do you use now / what do you feel are specific essential areas? i hope that doesn't sound like a strange question to ask, i've got some memory issues and knowing what specifically to focus on before i get into college could help a lot :)

no problem its not often i get to talk about the work that i do so im glad to write stuff.

when it comes to academic advice i have to preface it by saying things depend greatly on what is available to you, since “biology major” can fall under a ton of different things and im not sure theres a universal system for it … some examples ive seen are biology BS (bachelor of science) which is more useful for microbiology and if you want to go into research, biochemistry, or the medical field … biology BA (bachelor of art) which is better for macrobiology like zoology, and people looking to go into education. Theres also ecology and evolutionary biology, and more specific majors like botany, marine bio, etc ….

or your college might just have a single biology major. it really depends. my college happens to have a robust bio department and thats the main reason i wanted to go here. they usually have information on offered majors on their website but i assume youre looking at that anyway lol.

A nice piece of advice i received from someone in the field was when i attended the necropsy of an adult female sea lion, the woman performing it recommended we get a general biology degree rather than marine biology, since general bio offers you more opportunity. For example if you want to work in like… idaho studying golden eagles or kansas looking at salamander species you cant much use a marine bio degree for that. But a general bio degree is helpful in most marine bio environments. (Also marine bio is extremely competitive and the work is usually expensive but thats another conversation…)

in high school the class most useful to me was definitely physiology which was a science elective for me. It went over like…bone names and organ systems and how muscles work and all that … its still useful to me. You could also look into APES (ap environmental science) if thats something available to you. but generally i think you should take classes that are interesting to you! bio is a huge field and you may discover something really amazing if you just follow your nose.

and high school isnt all there is, you could see if theres a local museum or wildlife rescue center that takes youth workers/volunteers. More often than not facilities like this are non profit and depend on volunteer work so they might have something available. For paying jobs you could look into pet stores, sounds weird but there was an aquarium store in my town that had tons of species and the employees there are mostly really nerdy teenagers. similar situation with a reptile store near me, they literally breed chicks to feed the snakes. animal husbandry is a great way to observe like. Feeding behaviors and ecological roles. Doing work in actual places where a bio degree is applied helped inform my decision and i also learned a lot on the job. i never really freaked out about extracurriculars i just did this stuff because it seemed cool but it definitely helps with getting into college in the first place.
