No matter the difficulties, no matter the circumstances, no matter the uncertainties, my habits will always be there for me. Early morning workouts, smoothies, exfoliations, journaling, manicure, pedicure, affirmations, meal prep, naps, skin care routine, Sunday resets, yoga, pilates, books, and meditation will always keep me sane in the ever evolving world and that’s my strength.

When you have 6 5 different people to dress but only one body to style-
Thinking about a Mike Squad redesign... at least for ROTI specifically haha
Their asses are not fashion designers-
In order we have Mike (the two-tone 3/4 sleeve shirt), Chester (old man sweater tied around waist), Svetlana (gymnastics leotard under everything), Manitoba Smith (outback pants which apparently exist), and of course Vito (large button up shirt and cornicello).

Alan Wake (whose face and voice we find on Thomas Zane and Casper Darling, respectively) ends up in an antagonistic relationship with Alex Casey (whose face and voice we find on Sam Lake and Zachariah Trench, respectively).
Casper Darling and Zachariah Trench? By the end, their relationship was antagonistic.
The Casey-Trench voice was once a guide-friend for Wake-Darling.
And then, they were fighting.
One was suspicious of the other, thinking he was lying, hiding something.
While the other was unaware of the darkness that was growing and consuming the former's mind, his ignorance letting it fester. Feeding it, even.
The original faces, Thomas Zane and Sam Lake? In this latest iteration they've spoken with their own voices while in the Dark Place, only in the presence of a camera.
Alan Wake and Zachariah Trench? In the end, while in a nightmare dimension, both get shot by a woman who both of these men meddled in their lives, threatening the well being of their loved one.
At least one had a hand in his fate, willing it, accepting it. The other? He was fully gone, his will overtaken by the nightmare.
A version of Alex Casey did say it after all. He and writer, they were the same.
And finally, the real Sam Lake? By happenstance he offered his face for a collaborative project, and became a symbol. Even if he tried to fight it, tried to replace it, he had to concede. The story demanded it, as if writing it wasn't enough, the narrative claimed his visage.
There's no need to make overt mentions or put the image of the Ouroboros in posters. The serpent is interwoven in the fabric of the narrative itself.

MarriageToxin Profiles Vol.1
Haven’t seen these in English yet, so I’m posting them! Taken from the Japanese manga releases. Translated by myself. Sorry for the image quality;;
Gero Hikaru
DOB: November 24th
Blood Type: A
Heir to the "poison user" Gero family. The type to have many copies of the same clothes. Keeps a large number of work tools under his coat. If the room he lives in isn’t constantly clean, he feels unsettled. On nights after something rough happened, he cleans public toilets and other places until they’re better than new. Due to that, rumors of an urban legend “the Midnight Cleaner” have begun to spread throughout one portion of the city.
Amount of money spent on DIY candy kits per month: approx. 200,000 yen
*(approx. $1,500 USD )
–
*TL Notes: Here’s Gero! Starting off strong with the main character.
Blood types are included in almost every profile in this series. In Japan, blood types are actually considered pretty important for determining one’s personality and romantic compatibility. It’s similar to Western astrology with star signs. For more detailed information, search google or read here. In Gero’s case, Blood Type A is actually the most statistically common in Japan (40% of the population) so that makes him a relatively normal guy. According to one article, “people with blood type A are known to be highly-organized, particularly precise, and pay much attention to details. They are diplomatic and friendly in nature, so you won’t have a hard time approaching them. They seek harmony among other people, but they sometimes prefer to be alone because of their sensitive nature.” Checks out overall.
The DIY candy kits money is…far too much. Gero please what are you doing. Upon searching, a single package is like, $3.90 USD. So, $1500/$4 = 375 kits per month. That’s 93 per week. That’s 13 per day. Gero is the personification of that one dril “spend less on candles. no.” tweet.

Kinosaki Mei
DOB: May 18th
Blood Type: AB
A marriage swindler. Capable of winning-over any partner within 30 seconds. The possessor of an outstanding "mix-and-match" fashion coordination technique. On days off, ends up lounging around inside the house all day. After a long life in abject poverty, will eat anything. Once survived for 3 weeks based only off of gorging food on dates. Living space is small, and strewn with clutter. Is hiding a big secret.
–
*TL Notes: The original text actually manages to avoid using any pronouns for Kinosaki. Given how Japanese is structured, it’s possible to sometimes drop a subject/object/pronoun entirely, without compromising the sentence. Unfortunately in English that’s much harder to manage, and often ends up sounding like you’re suspiciously trying to avoid the words. I tried to compromise here by arranging the text around. Just know that in the official text, they avoid giving any specific he/she gender markers for Kinosaki as of current.
For Blood Type: “This blood type is the combination of the precise qualities of A types and the free-spiritedness of B types. Given that it’s a rare blood type, people with this type are often perceived as geniuses or [eccentric]. They can be unpredictable and curious. People who belong to the AB type usually jump around from one activity to another, depending on their mood and situation. They chase ideal dreams and pursue learning and knowledge in a wide range of fields. They are calm and rational but have a complicated personality.” Again, checks out for a swindler known for changing to handle any situation.
…Yes the final line does say “a big secret”. Uh.
EDIT: Chapter 54 sheds new light on this line! Perhaps it’s not a dirty joke after all, but something far more tragic. 👀
More coming soon!

The 80/20 Principle.
How to use the 80/20 principle in your life.
Concentrate on a few important things. These are the things that will give you the most comparative advantage, there are the 20% of the things you do that give you 80% of your success. Figure out what they are and prioritize them.
Ambition plus leisure equals uncommon results. Read, study, work hard, yes. These are very important but you also need to be relaxed. Being in a state of calm allows you to think clearly. Some of the best decisions I made happened when I was journaling, bird-watching, taking a walk, or doing my skincare. Take time to rest and see what ideas naturally come to you.
Expand your 20%. According to Richard Koch, the author of The 80/20 Principle, "80 percent of achievement and happiness takes place in 20 percent of our time..." Recognize this pattern and expand the 20%. That is why when choosing college majors or minors, students choose something related to a subject they love. Out of all the classes you have taken, you end up choosing a major that is related to about 20% of your high school experience because it has brought you the most achievement and success.
Find the right thing to achieve. Don't spread yourself too thin trying to do everything possible. Find something you want to achieve and put 110% focus on it. This can be something you are skilled at or you enjoy learning. You can also combine two things you love and create your own genre. If you are studying finance and you love arts as well, get good grades in school but also get your foot at every important museum that you can. Choose an art movement and learn everything about it. Slowly and consistently, you'd not only be a finance graduate, but you can also engage with people in the art world who would be fascinated by your interest and knowledge of art, or you might as well work at CHRISTIES or SOTHEBY.
Choose the right people in your life. This is always a controversial thing to say because everyone thinks making friends based on shared values is not genuine. In fact, vetting people before you become friends with them is a safety mechanism. As time goes on you should ask what someone does for a living. You don't want to be around someone who has skeletons in their cupboard or is doing some illegal runs. Choose people who have the same ideologies, views, and perspectives as you. It builds trust and companionship while you explore the differences you both have. A part of making friends that people don't talk about is that it has to be mutual. The other person should also be interested in being friends with you. Friends, co-workers, mentors, sponsors, and partners are people who will play a significant role in your life, you will spend a considerable amount of time with them, energy will be shared, ideas will be discussed, and goals will be achieved. Please do these with the right people.
All my ideas expressed here were from reading "The 80/20 principle" by Richard Koch. I recommend everyone to read it. :)
Black Pearl.
