Happy Chrysler! The brushes and fonts are here!
Tumblr media
After months of promising I've finally put together the ULTIMATE LO DEBAUCHERY brush and font pack! This was something I've been wanting to put together and release for a while but between technical difficulties, moving PC's, and wanting to ensure the brush pack was as refined as possible, it led to some delays. That said, it's finally finished!
VERSION 3 HERE! Helpful anon struck back not once, but twice! This will be the FINAL RELEASE of this brush pack (unless anything else is discovered but at this point it's feeling pretty complete! Any new additions will be collected and released in a new version at a later date <3)
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
All the brushes I consistently use in my panel edits of LO and Rekindled panels, among a metric FUCKTON of others provided by the community since releasing the first build! All the brush files are .abr meaning they can be used cross-platform between Clip Studio, Photoshop, Procreate, and other compatible drawing software!
A small selection of fonts from the Jason Brubaker 26 Fonts set.
A raw .clip and .psd file of Persephone from Episode 38 containing all the layer information for you to pull apart and play with! Also comes with an instruction layer to explain what brushes were used and where. Please use responsibly ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~ ♡
An .mp4 time lapse of an Eros panel recreation from S1 using the newest set of brushes!
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED:
Clip Studio brushes that I also use due to exporting limitations. This includes the standard Gouache brush (which I've replaced with some Photoshop-compatible brushes that are close enough) and the Design Pencil brush, both of which come pre-packaged as default brushes with Clip Studio Paint. So if you use CSP, you should be able to find these missing brushes in your default brush kits!
The remaining 23 fonts from the Jason Brubaker set as they're not typically used in LO and I don't want to go releasing an entire font pack. Note that you should NOT use the provided fonts commercially unless you've legally paid for them. If you want all of his comic fonts to use royalty-free then you can buy them on Gumroad!
The canvas texture overlay that I apply to all my pages, the one I use can be found in Clip Studio's default texture overlays but you can undoubtedly also find overlays for free online or simply use the "Add Canvas" brush that's included in the brush pack! (the overlay is just faster and more uniform haha)
Commercial ownership - these brushes are all being provided to use for free, but you are NOT allowed to use these commercially, says the law. If you try to use these in a professional commercial product and get caught, it's your own funeral! Use at your own risk!
A lot of research and trial and error went into putting this together, so I'm thrilled to finally bring it to y'all for your panel editing, text editing, and style-studying needs ~ Consider this my grand gesture of appreciation and gratitude for accepting me into this community with open arms and showing so much support for what I've added to the table <3 Enjoy! ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~ ♡
And if anyone asks you where or how you got these, no you didn't-

Nagito Color Study | Please do not repost, reblogs are welcome though! Brushes & Techniques & a progress pic below the cut
Uhhhh okay, how to explain this one. I was rereading “Logically Lucky” by PinkSweetSmoke and some of the visuals in the earlier chapters really struck me. The way that they write this relationship is pretty dynamic, and I wanted to see if I could use colors to talk about how Hajime and Nagito feel for each other and what they’re going through emotionally? So this is fanart for that fic, directly inspired by that fic based on the established vista(s) and also the style of writing their relationship, but it doesn’t really make sense unless I say all of that lol? But it wouldn’t exist if not for that fic, so I’d feel weird not mentioning it.
Brushes used (Clip Studio, Free):
Main: “ラフペン” from gyuukotu’s “Fill Set (塗りセット)”, content ID 1695210 Fill: Default India Ink brush pen - the rough pen is a little unpredictable, so I used this to flat the image and make sure that there were no gaps Cloud Flat: "荒筆" from gyuutoku's “Fill Set (塗りセット)”, content ID 1695210 Cloud Blender: I downloaded it from the internet instead of the app 2 years ago and cannot find, with certainty, where it came from, since I get rid of everything on my hard drive that's not art every year :( there are lots of good cloud blending brushes out there for free, though, and I typically use the gouache blender Misc. Techniques: Screen Distortion: I used CSP's free cloth texture clipped above the "blue" layers and then liquified it in places for the screen distortion effect Gradient Mapping: I cannot overstate how helpful gradient maps were for minor color corrections, you guys PLEASE try them on a finished piece of your own if you haven't used them yet. Click Layers > New Correction Layer > Gradient Map and then choose from the premade gradients before adding your own so you can see how they worked. I used a few different ones clipped to specific areas w/ lowered opacity & hard/soft light settings where I felt like the color was falling flat and it was SO helpful at giving it just that little bit more depth. Hearts: I've discovered that you can cheat at hair and clothing rendering by just making hearts. Try and see how many you can find lol Color Theory in General: The whole point of this piece, after it stopped being fanart (lol rip), was to be a color study focusing on the contrast between shadow and light and what I could do within the blues & the yellows to make them appear as if they're actually different colors. In the blue section, everything is p much blue, nothing is any other color. In the sunny section, a lot of the stuff is warmer variations of the standard colors, since I wanted it to be more vibrant and didn't feel like I could achieve that if everything was shades of yellow and orange. That being said, I stuck as closely to that as possible. But ANYWAY, juxtaposing the two starkly different color profiles also helps the blues in the blue side read as colors that they aren't, which was part of why I did this study. Sneaky sneaky: I just modified the diner a bit in order to get the colors I wanted, i.e closing the blinds bc I can. As an artist it's important to remember that YOU have full control over every single part of the piece, you just should ideally have a reason to create inaccuracies/ break rules or else it can end up being a bit messy and disorganized & details/ your vision can get lost.
Aaaand finally, the sketch from TWO AND A HALF MONTHS AGO:

If I may ask, what's going on with Minako and ami?? Do they dislike each other or are they just not really compatible?
I've actually talked about it here and also here!
But yeah, I basically don't really see them as super compatible, Mina doesn't necessarily dislike Ami, she's just bored by her, while Ami does actively dislike Mina, even if it's in a very passive manner most of the time.
They work well together as a team, but as soon as Sailor business is done, they go back to their default dynamic.
Ami recognizes that Mina is a good friend and excellent leader, but Ami's not willing to let invade her boundaries like the other girls let her do. Mina can be brash, rude, disrespectful, offensive and I see her as quite willing to make someone uncomfortable just to get attention and Ami does NOT like that. So they just ignore each other unless they are the only ones in the room or Mina is feeling especially 'generous' LOL.
It also does boil down to a conflict in their communication skills too. Mina is very smart when it comes to interacting with other people and especially reading people, while Ami struggles a lot more with that. I do hc Ami as autistic and for her picking up on things like sarcasm, context, verbal and non verbal hints and intentions is a lil more complex. Not that she's oblivious 100% of the time, quite the opposite (she overthinks everything!), but if it's Mina THEN it gets very complicated. If Mina wants you to be confused by or wants you to misinterpret something she said or did, you will!
While the other girls brush it off as Mina just messing around (which it honestly is), Ami does not see any humor in such behavior and gets very frustrated by it, seeing it as more along the lines of bullying/being annoying for the sake of it.
As well as Mina initiating in unwanted physical contact. Ami does not like being touched (unless your names are Luna, Mako, Usagi, Saeko or Michiru) unless pretty explicit consent is given or she's the one initiating. This is a problem Rei has too (in some ways more than Ami, but Rei has a much scarier face than Ami, so people don't dare touch her most of the time), but Rei has an easier time getting past it cause well, Mina's her gf, so Mina has implied consent most often than not.
Small rant/disclaimer:
I see most often people agreeing with me, up to the point I say Mina doesn't have a problem invading Ami's personal boundaries and I totally understand that.
It is NOT a nice thing to do, especially if you know the person you are doing it to is on the spectrum. It's incredibly disregarding and disrespectful of another person's feelings. That said, I like writing small aspects to characters that might not make them 'morally just' 100% of the time, or even a decent human being!
I see Mina saying offensive shit for the sake of it, including slurs (ex Haruka and Mina are VERY close friends, she does call Haruka dyke jokingly at times), I see Rei getting angry and acting like an absolute unreasonable Karen at service workers sometimes (I work retail, I'd murder her irl), I hc Mako growing up fairly homophobic (only to later live her life with a more open mind, while discovering some things about herself lol), and so forth, stuff like that it could be nowadays considered 'problematic'. I think it's quite important (at least for me) to include more negative human aspects to the girls as well as positive ones, but then again, this is my version of the characters.
If them acting this way at times makes you uncomfortable, it's totally fair! It's my HC!
The only thing I ask is that you respect my boundaries and not attack me for my views on some characters. They're not real, but me and other artists and writers online are.

what art supplies do u use? i rly like ur doodles ....
first of all, thank you!
this is gonna be a long one. and hey, before I get into this: getting better tools does not make you a better artist. I'm serious. Please don't get things from this list to improve your art, and especially if they're just gonna languish in a drawer because you're afraid of wasting them. I love you and you deserve nice things, but they are not the key to becoming a better artist.
I've also had many, many years to collect and curate stuff. A lot of it I gave away to friends because I didn't use it. If you're new to this, don't worry about getting "all the best things". It's a little silly, and can hold you back.
Especially for sketchbooks, exploration and just messing around, quality stuff isn't necessary. if you're selling commissions or making stuff that will be hung up, yeah, quality matters, but it's mostly about how archival/lightfast stuff is, not price. you won't catch me with caran d'ache or prismacolor stuff, nuh-uh. Only one of these is good and worth the price, and spoiler, it's not the prismacolor.
also, if I catch you hanging up alcohol marker originals, I will personally come into your house and put them into a safe drawer. that shit fades, and fast.
with that out of the way:
digital: clip studio paint + wacom intuos pro medium (circa 2017?). Don't bother with wacom tho, a huion is just fine. I do recommend not getting a small one though, your wrists will thank you. I use whatever brushes i like atm, usually default or custom-made by me.
watercolor: a mix of roman szmal + renesans paints, because they're high quality and extremely local (and thus cheap!!) to me. Currently I'm using arches 185gsm cold press (100% cotton). I chose it over 300gsm because it's cheaper, and thus feels less precious, so I'm not afraid to "waste it", whatever that means. for brushes, I use a #6 kolibri pure red sable round and a really, really old #2 cotman round (111 series). I would recommend synthetics due to environmental and ethical concerns over how sable hair is harvested. I also have a #16 flat somewhere, but I have no f%$#ing clue where it is. Do note that watercolor is rarely a vegan medium, as the sizing in watercolor paper is usually gelatine. I'm sure you can do it, but idk how. for gouache i use the watercolors mentioned above + white gouache because I'm a rebel. I do have a renesans gouache set tho, and will use it up because I hate wasting things.
ink: winsor&newton black and white shellac ink. I discovered G-pen nibs like a week ago and they're my jam, but I used a LS40 nib before (too flexy). FWIW i also use a white sakura gelly roll for white highlights sometimes, and sakura pigma microns in various sizes and colors (usually 003, 01, PN). I also use regular fountain pen ink in a fountain pen because it's fun.
sketchbooks/paper: royal talens art creation. they are the superior affordable sketchbook, no contest. I love the 12x12cm size and A5 bound on the short side. I'm also using a 12x12cm sakura sketchbook with black paper for gouache doodles. for watercolors, I use 100% cotton as mentioned before, as that is the only medium I ever consider selling to people. Everything else I don't bother keeping archival, so it's in my sketchbook or on cheap-ass copy paper. go nuts.
pencils: I prefer a 2H for layouts on watercolor paper and a HB for sketching, usually either a faber castell 9000 (the dark green ones) because idk they make me happy and are nice and smooth. Usually it's "whatever" though. as long as it writes and doesn't scratch I can use it.
colored pencils: a 36 set of faber castell polychromos and i refuse to elaborate
misc. sketching supplies: uni nano dia color mechanical pencil leads. My #1 most used is pink and I plan on getting more colors. for normal mechanical pencil lead i use a HB refill in whatever brand i can find (I'm even less picky than with wooden pencils). All of these are in 0.5mm size. oh, and tons of misc. cheapo colored pencils I have laying around, like most artists. for erasers, usually it's "whatever" but I do carry several with me at all times. current faves are colored kneadable erasers (ooo pretty colors!!), milan tri jet, pentel hi-polymer in green, pentel hi-polymer slim. pencil sharpeners are also a whatever as long as it doesn't break my pencil, but I do really like the derwent long point (i have the mini, its cute) for cute accents of color i use whatever pastel highlighter i have at hand, or a crayola supertip. I sometimes also use alcohol markers, but rarely.
alcohol markers: copic ciao, but don't bother buying them. ohuhu has refills now and copics lost their only advantage.
acrylic paint: renesans flowacryl, but I do plan to switch to golden fluid at some point. this is exclusively for mtg alters, btw. in terms of brushes, I use a #0 milan round (golden taklon i think but idk and I don't have any at hand rn to check) and a #6 oval (it's flat but with rounded off corners) in whatever brand is available.
i think i covered it all! now go grab a pencil and copy paper, and have fun. this is a threat.

My ex-partner actually did have a lot of influence on how I designed my characters in games, because I'd get ignored or ghosted in regards to the hobby entirely if I didn't make a character that was hyper-feminine / conventionally attractive enough. Which is true of my actual appearance as well, I'm loathe to admit in hindsight.
As while he'd never say it to my face, because something like that would have garnered an immediate breakup, the manipulation was still there, even if it was subtle. If someone is only ever complemented or praised on things they dislike (or even hate) doing, and brushed aside or put down for things they like or makes them feel comfortable, it messes with their head and can often lead them to subconsciously adjusting their behavior. Even if it ultimately makes them more unhappy in the end. This is especially true if the coercion is coming from a long-term romantic partner, or only starts happening multiple years into an established relationship like mine did (romantic or platonic). Heck, he many not have even fully realized he was doing it, because nobody else in his life checked him on these kinds of behaviors. Meaning any observation I made towards my treatment always got drowned out by everyone else in his life calling it "normal". (Parents, co-workers, his friends, media, etc.)
So if you suddenly realize I'm making a lot more masculine, feral, and "scrunkly" OC's for my playthroughs as of late, that's just me going back to my own preferences, rather than taking any of his into account.
My super-scaley, short-haired, masc-coded Final Fantasy 14 character was the first one I made after he left. Almost out of retaliation, really. As I had to discard the old character with hundreds of hours on the account, that I created specifically to play with him, to even clear up the name slot again. Even though I'd already finished all job quests and most of ARR. (Also yes, I know I could have just used a potion of fantasia, but the old character felt tainted at that point).
Prior to that, we were actually supposed to go through the game together, but at that point he was making almost zero time for me. And then one of the few times we did meet up in-game to do stuff, was when I discovered he was cheating. As not only did he invite his most-current affair partner along (which would later lead me down a rabbit hole to finally discovering the others), but she understood the whole cheating dynamic long before I did, and so like a cat who was proud of eating the family canary, she was downright supercilious and haughty towards me about it behind his back. (To this day, I still don't think he knows how I found out. Fun fact, people who willingly have an affair with cheaters tend not to be good people in other aspects of life either lmao.)
Worth noting too, this character I use now is based on an OC I used to use for everything prior to even meeting him. Way back since like 2004 (middle school), at least. So it's not just an amalgamation of "picking traits he hates". It's more me than it is 'anti-him'. It's just that being myself by default, sadly, fits that criteria. Which honestly should have been a red flag much sooner. But it's hard to see those behaviors for what they are, when they're coming from a person you used to trust, heart and soul, for over a decade.
And I'm doing the same of my appearance in real life now as well. I've already started to focus a lot more on working out, weight training, and gaining visible muscle-mass back. And I've started to wear my old, more practical/masculine styles of clothes. Heck, some of the more "dainty" outfits don't fit my arms or shoulders anymore already, which is a good sign. I used to be absolutely ripped in high school, and I want to regain some semblance of that physique again. (My current form isn't unhealthy, but it's not as strong as I want to be either).
So for anyone who comments thinking I'm just making "mistakes" in character creators for what traits I choose - no, I'm not. Let people be in charge of their own appearance, and don't attempt to re-style someone to fit your preferences. If it's such a big deal to you, then find someone who already enjoys being in that form to begin with. On top of that, because I rarely go into detail about my sex/gender, especially in this political climate, and because those things shouldn't be necessary to determine whether or not you like or agree with someone on a non-related topic, like hobbies, there's a really good chance people have already made some incorrect assumptions to begin with.
I don't mind strangers who barely know me assuming one way or the other, as long as they're polite about it. And I don't like going into full detail online. But what I can't tolerate is people projecting their own insecurities, or trying to persuade me into becoming their version of head-cannon, in order to make themselves feel more comfortable. No matter who you meet in life, always remember to address them as a human being. Don't forget etiquette just because someone might not tick all the check marks of your initial assessment of them.
TL;DR: Gonna start being gayer and put up with less shit on main.

hello, I know this is probably the most annoying question for some artists and apologize if you've already answered this but what brushes/brush settings do you use for your portraits? if I may ask <3
Hi, Anon!
Don't worry about being annoying, I don't mind answering these types of questions more than once because I change what brushes I use quite often.
As for what brushes I use! I use whatever vibes right with me at the time. I made sure to keep a list for you when I was working on my Chiss eyes. Most of these are free to download from Clip Studio Assets.
This is going to be long, so I'll put it under the cut.
Version 1.10.9 Default Sub Tools. I usually use the mechanical pencil, the watercolour, and the design pencil for my sketches.
Tumblr media
2. Design Pencil NT, which I accidentally discovered whilst looking for the Design Pencil in the new CSP update (can't remember which, but it vanished and I was panicked for a hot second there and tried to find a replacement lol). This isn't like the og Design Pencil, but it is very good for eyelashes and hard lines/smooth colour without texture.
Tumblr media
3. Perfect Pencil with tilt. My go to brush for sketching up the shape of a more serious artwork with nicer rendering than my sketches.
Tumblr media
I also have a lot of oil and gouache brushes that I picked from CSP Assets, along with some texture brushes (ice, dust, etc) and a rake brush pack from devinellekurtz which I've been obsessed with lately.
As for settings, I'm not sure. I usually don't touch those unless I'm using watercolour (and occasionally gouache) and usually then it's like, "do I like how this looks" and then adjust as required. I also usually try to paint on one layer both because it's good for keeping that problem solving area of my brain going, and because I sometimes forget that I can have another layer and an undo button. The traditional skills are very much still there, there's just less mess lol.
Anyway, I hope this satisfies your curiosity! Sorry this took so long to answer :3

I don't really have anything specific in mind, I'm actually kinda lost as to what to look for jkjsksjk I know I identify with some traits, like sensory issues and difficulty communicating (I do have a diagnosis of social phobia, though I've been thinking maybe autism would better explain other aspects of my life beyond social interaction). I've been reading some articles regarding late discovering of autism and mostly looking for experiences, so I can compare to my own. I feel like I should be looking for something else but I don't really know what? lmao I don't think that was really helpful, anything you can share would be good to me
This is a really long post so I'm going to put it under a read more to not clog up other people's feeds but I think the main areas to cover are:
- verbal communication issues
was your vocabulary/reading ever under/over developed as a child? Having a really advanced vocabulary is just as much a sign of autism as having delayed development in this area. Also, having a very hard to pin down accent, or taking on others' accents Really easily is common amongst autistic people. Do you ever have trouble speaking? I experience selective mutism and when I'm overwhelmed/stressed/upset I often find it hard to speak out loud and have to communicate through messages/notes, though when I'm not mute I'm very eloquent and have always had a vocabulary that was advanced, other kids found it hard to talk to me when I was younger bc they couldn't understand me, but equally comprehension/vocabulary can be delayed/compromised and you might find it hard to understand others because you struggle with that sort of thing yourself. Do you have issues with your tone of voice ever? I find that I can't read my own tone of voice or my volume, some things will come out really bitchy-sounding or angry-sounding and I won't be able to tell, or I might be shouting and not know it because it all sounds the same in my head really.
- sensory issues
do you have issues with certain types of sound? volume? quantity? volume doesn't bother me, but too many different sources of noise will send me into a meltdown so fast. Do you struggle with certain smells, bright lights, tastes, textures of food or of clothing, certain sensations, for example I get really stressed out by having wet skin/hair, and I can't stand the sound/feeling of something rubbing over carpet. I also find some tastes to be overwhelming. Under-sensitivity or processing issues can also be a symptom. Do you ever struggle to process reading/listening to something? I have absolutely awful retention for auditory information, I can't hold more than around 4-5 words in my mind at any one time, and I can't follow auditory instructions at all if there's more than one step, it needs to be written down. I also often struggle to read things because I don't process the words and they just look like meaningless letters on a page to me. I also really struggle to process my own thoughts and order them, I'm able to talk out loud but there are times where I can't write my thoughts without speaking them first because ordering my thoughts while they're still inside my head is very difficult. I also have an under-sensitive sense of smell and taste at times. I can't even smell when meat has gone bad and everyone else I know says it really stinks, and like I can't tell the difference between chicken gravy and onion gravy, for example, because they taste almost identical to me. And senses aren't just the basic five, either. Do you have a particularly high OR low pain threshold? interoception is the perception of bodily functions. Do you have trouble identifying/noticing when you're hungry/thirsty or when you need to go to the toilet e.g. you didn't need to go pee a minute ago but now you're Suddenly absolutely bursting to go because you didn't notice it earlier at all. Proprioception is your perception of your movements, balance and of where your limbs are in relation to your surroundings. Do you bump into things or fall over seemingly nothing a lot? Have you ever been told/noticed you move "strangely"? Do you ever walk sort of on your tiptoes or toes-first rather than heels-first?
- social issues
do you have trouble reading body language? facial expressions? figurative language? tone of voice? not every autistic person will experience all of the above, I know people who can't read body language but can read tone of voice, or can't read figurative language but can read facial expressions, etc. etc. Personally I struggle with tone of voice a lot, I can't tell when people are being serious or not, or whether they're upset or not, tone of voice doesn't really tell me anything about how they're feeling of what they mean. Figurative language varies, I understand metaphors and I often understand sarcasm, although I won't get it if it's too deadpan, and I sometimes miss hyperbole and think people are being serious. I also can't tell whether people are teasing me or genuinely being mean the vast majority of the time. I tend to rely on speech patterns and word choice a lot to understand people, personally. I pick up on what sorts of words they use in what moods and use that largely to inform my interpretations of their current mood based on the words they're choosing. Do you ever struggle understanding what is/isn't socially appropriate? I overshare a lot bc I don't rlly understand what is "too much information" and what isn't, and I also don't understand really how to treat people differently based on their "social role", like I treat someone like a friend regardless of whether they're a stranger, a classmate, a friend, a family member, a colleague, a boss, a teacher, etc.
- need for routine/dislike of sudden/significant change
this isn't always as clear as like needing an entire day to be a routine, it can be little things. I'll give some examples: I have to brush my teeth in a specific way - I count the number of passes of the brush over each section of my teeth, I have to eat a sandwich in a specific order of bites, many food places I will order the same thing every/nearly every time and I will eat that order in the same way, I wash my body/hair in a certain way/order in the shower every time, sometimes I get weirdly obsessed with symmetry and I have to walk in a certain way and if I step "wrong" I have to hop around on one leg until I feel "balanced" again, I have to do my daily tasks on genshin impact in a certain order, etc. etc. I could probably think of more if I tried. I will often get distressed/overwhelmed/upset if any of these "routines" are disrupted somehow. My original method of eating a sandwich applied to when they're cut across into rectangles, so I used to hate eating triangle sandwiches because I couldn't eat them "correctly" until I figured out a similar way to eat triangle sandwiches, and now I Have to eat them in that way because it's "correct" and I'll feel uncomfortable otherwise. Note that this isn't like OCD because it's not anxiety-based, it's based on the fact that it feels like the "correct" way to do it, and that any other way is simply "wrong" and you don't like doing it "wrong". The need for routine and dislike of change might also manifest in needing to plan things ahead days in advance, you also might be like me and be very capable of impulsively doing things like going out if You decide to do it, but if someone Else suggests it, then you need the preparation time. - stimming/special interests
stimming can be honestly anything. I tap my foot, I sing, I have a whole folder names "stim games" on my phone, I type, I eat, I chew gum, I flap my arms, I scratch fabrics, I smell blankets/clothing. Stimming just means self-stimulation and is absolutely any repeated action that you find soothing/cathartic in any way. Under here I'm also going to mention samefoods: foods that you feel comfortable eating even when you don't feel comfortable eating anything else. Like if too much flavour/smell/texture feels overwhelming, most autistic people will have food/s that aren't at all stressful to eat and they can default to at those times. Mine is a specific brand of chicken nuggets, I'll often fall back on those when eating anything else feels overwhelming but I need to eat Something, and I can usually handle those when I can't handle other things.
as for special interests, they are anything that you're kind of obsessed with. You can have multiple, they can change over your life, but your interest tends to go much deeper than that of a neurotypical person's and you feel a need to know everything about it and struggle to hold conversations about other topics because it kind of just takes over your brain. when I was younger some of my special interests were final fantasy, anime, hello kitty, languages/linguistics has always been a special interest of mine, kpop is definitely one, astrology is also for sure one. I fall in and out of being obsessed enough with genshin to call it a special interest. I had a friend in highschool whose special interest was the periodic table, for a while they were obsessed with the 8 times table, and then it became dinosaurs. My little brother is autistic and his special interest has always been video games, he's really interested in retro games, he loves Minecraft and Mario too, when he was younger it was ben 10 for a while, there was also a period where all he wanted to do as a kid was rewatch the cars movies. Media likes to portray special interests as being academic but they can truly be absolutely anything. A desire to know absolutely everything about trains or flowers or kpop is just as much a special interest as neurology or maths or physics or smth like that.
Another thing I've just thought of to be noted, is hygiene:
some autistic people might appear to have borderline OCD tendencies where they can't handle dirt/mess and need everything to be tidy/clean all the time. This is definitely one of the stereotypes. But struggling with hygiene is just as much a symptom of autism. If you struggle to remember to shower/wash hands/brush teeth/do laundry/etc. that could well be an autism symptom. I found out I'm sensitive to mint and especially to toothpaste, it makes my mouth feel like it's burning and like I'll actually cry if it touches my tongue bc it hurts that much lmao. I discovered a toothpaste that's unflavoured and doesn't foam up and now I can brush my teeth without pain but for a long time I struggled with consistently brushing teeth bc of that. I also struggle with showering bc of being stressed out by wet hair/skin. Sometimes it's also a memory thing, and I forget to do these things. I also absolutely suck at keeping my room clean, idk why I just Really Can't lmaoooooo
I'm certain there are things I haven't covered, these are mostly pulling from my own experiences of autism from myself and those around me. All of this might apply to you, it might not, but I hope it makes sense and has given you a good starting point of things to examine within yourself and questions to ask yourself <3 I wish you well bub and please always feel free to ask more questions and/or talk to me more about your experiences <3

Hiiii!!! I really love your kiribaku fanarts...I've seen that you also draw haikyuu art as well and i'm thrilled to found this out :) (since I'm kinda new here.) have you heard the news that hq!! s4 is confirmed in sept?
I have!!! I wonder how far in they’re gonna get with adapting the manga in it, cause the current arc is being !!!!!! hhhhhhhhh !!!!!! but it’s definitely too much to ask for this game to be adapted in s4 already haha I’m especially hype for Daishou, Hoshiumi and Kita to be animated >:]c
Anon said:Hey!! I love your work!! But I’m curious, how long does it take for you to draw + color what you post? Like on average?
Thank you!! And that really, really depends on what I’m drawing/how much effort I’m putting in/how good I’m feeling about drawing while drawing, so I can’t easily say! For a full colors piece it goes from two or even just one hour (when it’s characters I’m used to draw in simple clothing with no bg/easy poses or anything equally easy) to over two days of constant work (lotsa characters or a character I’m not used to, complex clothing, a huge background, things like that) - the single page illustration that took me the longest to ever finish was my extra piece for the sixth wheel zine and that one was something like five or six days of constant work!
I tend to be very sloppy with what I make though, and my style was built to let me be as fast as I possibly could cause my attention span is minimal orz I’m working on that !!!!
Anon said:I really love the way you draw it’s so beautiful
Thank you so much!!! TTOTT
Anon said:Happy New Year’s! Your art really inspires me to be an artist, so thank you. I’ve only recently discovered your blog, but whenever I see your art it makes me really happy!
Oh man that makes me so happy to hear?? I hope you’re having all the fun in the world with your art!!!!
Anon said:I’m excited to see more luca and nico I’m not ready for their cuteness 🥰
I wanna draw more of them toooooooo !!!!!!! maybe soon!!! I’m so happy to hear you’re excited about them
Anon said:Any tips for lineart, bc mine literally looks like pixels
It would seriously be easier for me to help you if you could tell me which art program you use and which tools, ngl! I don’t really know what you mean with “looks like pixels” since from my experience the only ways to make the lineart look like pixels is to either use the binary tool or to zoom in on the drawing further than 100% (but in the second case it should stop being a problem once you save the drawing anyway) - like this the only tip I can give you is to switch tools around a bit to see what looks best for you! I use Easy Paint Tool SAI as a program and my lining tools are either the default brush tool or (lately) the default pen one, both with sizes between 4px and 6px - it’s really basic tools really! If you’re asking how to make your lines look smooth, then that changes from artist to artist and the best thing I can tell you to do is to keep trying different ways till you find the one that works best for you (again, yes) - my way is to try and interrupt the line while lining as little as I can, which implies a lot of ctrl+z and drawing the same lines over and over again till they look right orz you get faster at it the more you try, at least haha
Anon said:I just saw the drawing of your OC, Dave (I love it and I love him) and I was wondering where you got the inspiration for his shirt? Did you create it or is it actually a design you’ve seen before? Because I love it! I hope you have a nice day! :D
Ah, I made it up myself! He likes cats and he likes music so I mixed the two haha I’m glad you liked it, though!! And I’m glad you liked my boy, too!!!

I'VE BEEN PONDERING PARADOX
But it certainly wasn't true, and hadn't been true for centuries, and to him they looked wooden and unnatural. Late stage investors supply huge amounts of money and help. I'm more forgiving than she is, but one thing I would really love to do, personally, is discover a new abstraction—something that would make as much of a startup idea. So we made some basic mistakes early on. Google employees to focus on more important questions, like what the company is default alive, we can imitate nature's method as well as abstract ones. But investors are so much about technology and design, you probably need to be rewritten. I'm not saying founders with families should uproot them to move halfway around the world; that might be too much of a startup with about 70 programmers how many more he'd hire if he could get all the great programmers collected in one hub. And for programmers the paradox is even more pronounced: the language to learn, if you want to encourage kids to come up with things on their own, but you should never tell them.
If parents will let their children major in x, the rest follows straightforwardly. Maybe as you say that it will set off the same alarms in your head that it does in mine. So cultivating intelligence seems to be becoming dramatically more liquid. And two generations of American high school students have searched for does not seem to exist. Intelligence has become increasingly important relative to wisdom because there is no record of it. But it could be that a lot of the worst ones were designed for other people to use. Sure, at one point they were a just a couple guys in a garage—but even then their greatness was assured, and all you'll be able to browse the Web on your gameboy? Many languages especially the ones designed for other people, it's always a specific group of other people: people not as smart as the language designer. Good runners still get tired; they just get tired at higher speeds. The Eiffel Tower looks striking partly because it is a good thing for companies to do, you don't know where your ideas are coming from, you're probably wasting your time. So cultivating intelligence seems to be a matter of spanning a given distance with the least material. I don't feel like I have to focus on the wrong things about writing, but put them off writing entirely.
Better to arrange the dials in a square, and a dial to control each. Underneath the long words or the expressive brush strokes, there is no permanent place for ugly mathematics. I didn't mean by this that Java programmers are dumb. I'm right. Though indeed, it's been a while since they were writing about symbolism; now they're writing about gender. Indeed, you can only control it indirectly. It means much the same thing I say to startups in the US right now as lived in Florence during the fifteenth century, it helped painters to deal with difficult subjects like the human figure because, unlike tempera, oil can be blended and overpainted. Well, they do end up paying more. Recently a friend said that what he liked about my essays was that they weren't expected of you, any more than goalkeepers are expected to score goals.
