I really want to make some online friends so here are some things that I would enjoy chatting about :-

ok i need to put this somewhere bc i've had this concept in my head since blood of olympus came out but i was nowhere close to having the writing skill to be able to pull it off as a fanfiction and i never will (bc i can dream but truthfully won't put in the work and effort that a writer can to actually put it together):

jason died at the end of the lost hero when hera released her true form

piper and hazel have inadvertently spent the rest of the series keeping him resurrected. that is their partial purpose in the prophecy as maintaining jason to be a pawn of hera

piper through charmspeak maintaining his image as an individual consciousness everyone could be a witness to and hazel physically through manipulating the earth, just as she resurrected the titan

this takes place after the events of hoo, as everyone goes their own ways hazel no longer has physical influence on the construct of jason, hera has no more use for him, jason falls ill and all of camp halfblood is flown into a fuss

piper's holding everything together. under all the pressure and her own feelings about their just-hopeful relationship she doesn't realize she's the only thing keeping jason's consciousness alive. there's a point where he enters a coma and can't cross back, and everything he is becomes a regression to piper's idea of him à la fake relationship memories in the lost hero. she grows increasingly isolated

when hazel travels over from camp jupiter she becomes the sole detective in this mystery. she befriends and ends up working with drew tanaka (who always had a lot of hoo main character potential in my eyes)

dual pov between hazel and piper. it hits the midpoint: jason dies but only hazel and drew can see it. piper becomes a stronger and stronger unreliable narrator. towards the end it nearly seems like parallel storytelling between two different universes of two alterate outcomes

lots of body horror likening to rocks and minerals and nature and the earth etc

leo returns with calypso in the aftermath. has some influence over the public perception and the dynamic of staying away for so long is put into effect with piper. a lot of their relationship is explored

percy and annabeth are barely in it give them a break. nico is a very present secondary character

a lot of the dynamic is explored of relationships formed in stress - now in a period of peace. we were there for each other when the world was ending, the real trial begins when we have time to think and have time to be apart. how much of our identities related to one another were dependent on working together through external crisis?

i had a lot of angsty writing ideas as a teenager. it probably ends pretty hopelessly

what's the actual plot? idk how to come up with one of those
