Inspired by the many works of this concept! But most specifically @meatonfork and their grim stories!

Being the youngest member of a task force of grown men who’ve stared death in the face around every day of their lives is an accomplishment in itself

Getting close with them though is an entirely different goal that you’ve somehow accomplished in your time at 141

Your kinda not sure how it happened

Like you were brought on as additional support on a mission of theirs. Unlike the others though you’d stood out

Partially due to your smaller stature cause of your young age compared to literally everyone else (even Gaz)

He’s the most hesitant of the bunch to get closer to you. Afraid that his presence will be like a curse that leads to your life being cut short.

But your stubborn though, like a shark refusing to give up on chasing its prey.

It starts with small improvements you could make in simple stuff like your stances. He sees it during some training and he takes the time to show you what to do.

He tries to leave it at that but you come to him asking for more help in other areas you thought you could do better in. A small smirk on your face as he agrees with a bit of a sigh.

You talk to him during these times. Never shutting up about something funny you saw on tiktok or some weird story.

He appreciates how you don’t ever really expect him to respond, just to silently listen to your ramblings. Knowing he preferred to listen rather than talk.

It’s nice. He begins to look forwards to your training sessions and also starts indulging in joking with you.

His sense of humour doesn’t scare you off, in fact you seem to make more fucked up jokes than he does.

“Damn that hits harder than my parents expectations” the moment after you say this an awkward silence fills the training room. Ghost staring down at you with an unreadable expression on his face, dark eyes peering down from behind his edgy mask. “Kid are you ok?” The moment he asks this your instant response is “no”

Is reallly fucking worried for your mental health. Like he’s constantly checking on you after missions and is the first to volunteer to be at your side if your experiencing something wrong

He’s seen allot of people older than you be permanently scarred by what they’ve seen and end up on dark paths. He’s attached now and refuses to let that happen to you

He hasn’t been on the internet in years so he has no fucking clue what a “vine” is or whatever the fuck is going on your “tick-tack” or whatever the hell that app was named.

But he bears it for your smile and giggles as you show him a video of a puppy

He won’t mention it but at some point he gets a tattoo of a small nurse shark circling his forearm.

A symbol of your impact on his life

If you steal a mask of his you’ll find one tailored to properly fit you a few days later slipped under your door with a small note

Calls you “kid, brat, and (when he’s feeling soft) Sharky or ankle biter”

On missions with you he tends to try and have you in eyesight unless it’s completely necessary not to

A subtle way of keeping his protective side in reign but also let you do what you do best

Be prepared if you get injured though cause he’s ripping and tearing whoever’s in his path to get to you.

Price on the other hand is also worried but isn’t afraid to get close. In fact, he goes out of his way to welcome you as best he can.

Every morning he greets you with a polite “hello” and “how’s your morning” before offering a cup of tea

Not coffee though. He says it’s bad for your health and your too young to start drinking that shit

You can’t fight him on this either, he goes full dad mode on your ass and places the coffee container somewhere you can’t reach

He often stays up late doing paperwork so if your restless you end up curled up in his office on one of the couches.

He talks about some old stories, snuffing out his cigar so you don’t breath in the smoke.

His voice is perfect to listen too and has an almost instant knock out affect on your sleepy mind

You’ll wake up in your room the next morning, one of his hats snug on your head.

He’s the only one who knows any background information of your upbringing and guards that unless you don’t really care. Even then he’s still very hush hush about your past.

He likes to give a lot of verbal affection.

Just telling you that “you did a good job!” or a “great work out there kiddo”.

Plus a pat on the back and ruffling of your hair to add onto the affection. Will also give hugs if your comfortable with them

Buy him a hat or mug with “ 1# dad/captain” and you’ll see him tear up slightly

“Surprise!!” You place down the small mug that had “worlds best dad captain” written on it, onto his desk. He goes silent, carefully taking it into his hands with a certain gentleness only reserved for moments such as this. “Thought you needed a new one” he still remains silent, staring down in Aw at the mug “thought it would also go good with the “women fear me, fish fear me, men turn their eyes away from me-“. You stop seeing as his eyes begin to gloss over slightly.

“Thanks kid” “no problem old man”

He’s always wanted kids but due to the profession he’s never had the chance to settle down. So getting something like that helps with his lingering feeling of longing and bitterness of knowing he’ll likely never fulfil that dream

But he’s has you now, along with the family he built with the others and that’s good enough for him.

As the youngest you abuse your youngest child privileges on him a shit ton with Gaz.

He just can’t stay mad lol

Unlike Ghost he’s a bit more adept to modern tech though social media has him a bit lost.

Show him all you want but he still won’t be able to comprehend why a dude screaming about something is funny

On missions he already knows Ghost is watching over you so he kinda lets him take the lead in being protective. Though if ghost isn’t there he definitely has either himself or whoever else is on the mission nearby

He also almost always makes sure for missions your paired up with at least one other person.

Soap is immediately becoming your buddy whether you like it or not

After that first interaction he kinda just mentally said to himself “aight this lil shit is sticking with me now” and went from there

Jokes. Holy shit does he have an arsenal of jokes that he tries out with you.

Once he finds your somewhat dark and weird sense of humour he sticks to it, learning what would make you laugh the hardest and feeling super accomplished in succeeding his task

Definitely makes aquatic jokes and tries to buy you sea themed souvenirs

Eventually you gift him a seahorse keychain and it now hangs from his belt. He buys you a shark one in return that you hang from your com.

He has some social media accounts but their relatively bare. He just doesn’t have the time to update them or when he’s not busy he forgets to post anything

You quickly change that and he ends up basically becoming a meme account to piss off ghost as you, him and Gaz team up in talking in slang that makes Ghost and Price so fucking confused.

You and Soap sit side by side with shit grinning faces as Ghost sits as still as a statue with the aura of annoyance. You whisper to Soap something which makes the Scottish man giggle and glance back at ghost. Personally it’s getting on ghost’s nerves but he knows if he asks his ears are gonna be assaulted by some ungodly array of words he was 100% sure wasn’t in the dictionary.

During leave he’s definitely inviting you over to stay with him back in his flat. It’s somewhat small but it’s cozy, definitely a nice stay as he takes you to a football game and gets somewhat rowdy while watching it.

He kinda has the suspicion that you might’ve not had the best home life considering your age in which you voluntarily enlisted. But he doesn’t ask incase of it being a sensitive topic.

Maybe he’s right, maybe he’s wrong but it’s an offer you occasionally take since it makes him more happy than you know

100% teaches you Scottish slang for fun

Is probably the one who calls you “Sharky” the most out of the group and is the one who insists that everyone calls you that

Price has banned him from teaching you on how to make bombs no matter how much either of you plead

That doesn’t stop him from showing you how to set them up though

And that unfortunately (for him and everyone else) also leads you to setting up better pranks due to the knowledge he taught you.

He gets the side eye from ghost every time he wakes up to find a new elaborate glitter tripwire you set up

Gaz needs a moment to warm up to you but once he does he’s joining in on the shenanigans

For the longest time he was the youngest so now he has a chance to be a role model/mentor to someone!

Gaz knows what it’s like to be the metaphorical baby of the team (he still kinda is) so he understands if your feeling overwhelmed by the other’s protective streaks

Will 100% be the only one to understand half the shit you say and be given the title of “shark translator”

“Gaz for the love of Christ please translate that”

“It basically means “I’d rather gouge my eye out with a rusty shit covered spoon than eat any more of the broccoli” honestly same”

“What the fuck”

That just gives him the excuse to make them think that what you said is a whole lot worse tho

He occasionally takes his hat and places it on your head to see it be way to big and obscure your eyesight

Don’t offer instant ramen to him cause he has ptsd from eating a shit ton of it when he was in high school

He has an Xbox 360 and a sega Saturn locked away in his room. He only lets people he trusts know of it’s existence let alone be able to play on it

Your one of the few

He does not judge if you talk to him for an hour about the most obscure piece of media, he’ll probably find it really interesting and end up down the rabbit hole of watching it.

Both of you send the creepy stories chain email to random people on base just to see what’ll happen

Like everyone he kinda assumes you probably came from a shit background. He doesn’t ask about it unless you bring it up, but he always reminds you that him and the team are there for you if you need a place to crash at or talk to

Gets pretty nervous about you on the battlefield cause of the fact your going up against men that are usually 2 times your size. But he doesn’t try to admit it since he remembers when the others felt the same about him.

Is probably the only one who doesn’t get worried about any self-deprivations humour but does kinda get worried about suicide jokes

As a joke y’all call everyone old and make jokes about getting Price a cane next Christmas (which results in about 20 sets if push ups)

He sends random low quality memes you sent to him at 3 am to Price to see if he’ll ask the next morning what “me and the boys at 3 am looking for beans” fucking means.

Like soap he encourages your shenanigans but if he thinks you might get hurt he’s stopping that shit

He carry’s around kids bandaids with characters on them for you as an inside joke

Overall their protective but they don’t overstep the comfort line.

You’ve grown on them like a parasite and now they refuse to cut you off, luckily for them you just seem to latch on even harder.

Andddd speaking of you going into the philosophies of it all that’s exactly what I’m going to do!! (THIS IS REALLLY LONG IM SO SORRY you don’t have to get to it right away)

One corner of philosophy that I enjoy is free will and determinism. Determinism is basically the opposite of free will; it’s the idea that every event, decision and action is determined by a chain of prior occurrences.

I think determinism is really important within The Owl House, especially regarding Luz’s guilt about helping Belos, and with how you are writing ttocw.

Let me talk about Belos/Philip for a bit.

One thing that comes to my mind when thinking about your interpretation of the Wittebanes is the case of Leopold and Loeb. I would recommend looking it up if you would like, it’s as tragic as it is fascinating, but to sum it up two boys committed murder hoping to demonstrate superior intellect, which they believed would allow them to commit the “perfect crime” without consequences.

Im not trying to compare these guys to Caleb and Philip or connect them to each other in any way, it’s the defense their lawyer made that’s important. (It’s said that by the end of his speech the court room was quiet and the judge was weeping openly.)

Clarence Darrow, the lawyer, attempted to show that the boys were helpless victims of heredity and environment. In other words, the deterministic ideas of Nature and Nurture. Nature refers to the biological/genetic factors that impact one’s traits. For example, you have no free will over your eye color, but this idea goes a lot deeper than just physical appearance. Nurture is one’s upbringing, their environment, experiences etc. and how they impact you and your choices.

Both of these affecting your decisions would be something like: you walk into an ice cream shop. You can’t get anything with nuts because you are allergic (nature), and people have told you how good this one flavor is (nurture) so you think you will go with that.

It’s not really as simple as that however, a lot of the things you do can be traced back to one of the two, or both. What does this have to do with the Wittebanes?

You are writing Philip as a perfect example of how nurture changes someone. How the simplest actions, even the ones that seem the most insignificant, have effect on a person. Especially how these things that happen to Philip when he was just a kid will turn him into Belos in the long run. That mask he wore that Caleb said could trick witch’s? He wore it for hundreds of years in the isles. The ideas and politics and religion he grew up with influenced the way he created his empire, raised Hunter, spoke about the Titan, etc.

I believe Caleb has spoken about how he feels somewhat at fault for the way Philip turned out, and he’s not wrong. But then you begin to ask why Caleb acted the way he did to Philip, then who or what was the cause of those actions, and it will keep spiraling until the whole world is to blame for the actions of one man, and you can’t blame the world for the hurt and suffering of so many people.

I think that’s when I start to wonder about Hunter, he was influenced and raised to believe what he did was right, but so did Philip. Hmmm personally I think it’s whether or not you can come to the realization that what you are doing or did is wrong and hold yourself accountable for your actions. But even then there is still the people you hurt and it’s not up to you whether they will forgive you or not. I just love thinking about these kinda things

But one thing I know for certain is that Luz should not be beating herself up over helping Belos.

Because if Luz never taught him the light glyph then there would be no collector, no emperor belos, no emperors coven. Sure, I can understand her guilt, she was the one that put his plan into motion.

But if there was no emperors coven then Lilith would never have cursed her sister, never causing her to run off and find the portal door. No portal door means Luz would have never walked into the demon realm. But she did, meaning she has, at the time, already taught him the glyph. It was always going to happen, there was no way around it.

Not only that, but I’m sure Belos knew. I’m sure he knew all of this. Why else would Lilith be able to keep her palisman, because without it she would have (most likely) never risen in ranks, never become as powerful as she was. Never ultimately betraying the coven in favor of her sister. Never ending up at the Owl House on that fateful day when Flora Desplora planted the idea of the time pools in her head. Would have never gone back in time with Luz, met Philip. Never taught him the light spell.

I’m sure Lilith joining the coven must have been some sort of realization for Belos. I’m sure he recognized her face, as unlikely as it sounds, but he remembered Luz. He for sure could have stopped Luz and the rest from getting away after she blew up the portal door, but he didn’t. If you look up the hollow mind paintings you can see them in (I’m pretty sure) chronological order, and there is one of him standing in front of a smirking Flora, undoubtedly sending her off to plant the idea of the time pools in Lilith’s head.

But what I don’t think Belos understands is that it wasn’t him manipulating the situation. It was an act of fate. There was no free will in any of this. Luz was always going to step through that door, and always going to teach him the glyph. I would say that she has nothing to be guilty about but I can understand why she still would be. Even if she never had any say in what was going to happen she did still end up causing a lot of people to get hurt. The thing she needs to get is that it was the actions of Belos that caused people to get hurt, her actions were a factor in what happened, sure, but she had no control over what was happening, and it wasn’t her that actively went out and hurt people 😭😭😭 I just want her to be happy shoajsjakaja

I don't really have anything to add! this was really cool to read!

But I will add that, yes! That is an interest of mine (nurture vs nature) and an intention I have with Philip. I think it's an interesting puddle of grey to pat my feet into when writing complex villains/antagonists/conflicts. I enjoy exploring greyness in characters in general! So you're spot on there.

i finished hazbin hotel so here is my master collection of all my silly notes

episode 1

- treat angel dust better and give him actual lines and it’ll be better

- why do the background demons have more variety than the main cast

- opening number is good

- when will jesus appear

- cannibal town is where i wanna live

- i should keep a swear counter for this

- charlie is the best character

- adam shaving down a chicken bone in one bite is really funny

- i like adam his voice actor is doing really good

- all the voice actors are really good. except keith david poor guy

- angel dust sexually harassing husk is not funny

- if adam is a human who sins then why is he in charge of the angel exterminators

- nifftys commercial bit is funny

- alastors monocle is on his mouth in some shots and it’s funny

- i like the foreshadowing of alastor hating tv

- i feel like all the main characters except for charlie and alastor are really one note and it bugs me

- the cliffhanger is really intriguing and i will watch more

angel dusts jealousy came out of.Nowhere. like i know charlie was saying like “hey you aren’t really a real resident” and he was mad about the game but it felt more like “ugh i can’t stand these people” not “ugh i wish i could be redeemed and people cared about me.” it was hinted at just not very well

angel being lovebombed is portrayed.Fine.ly like it’s realistic but not outstanding . it would mean more if valentino wasn’t making lighthearted jokes about how he kills and manipulates his workers

okay i ended up watching the rest of this one during gym class so i didn’t have my notes. overall this episode was really good except for velvette kinda sucking . 7/10

okay the dressing room scene . the fear in angels voice through all of it is so jarring and it keeps you invested in the scene and Val being so fuckinh disgusting and evil . how do people like this guy at all. this scene is so creepy not just cuz of val being abusive but because of how horrified Angel is and the moment he asks the bare minimum of val not hurting charlie his life is put on the line. i feel like this was treated with the weight it deserves and it clearly paints val as a villain. unfortunately it’s tainted by the fact that the writers are aroused by this shit but they do a good job of hiding it i guess. maybe this will change

it bothers me so much that angels head keeps randomly changing in size cuz all the animation is freehand

poison. im gonna be careful and respectful on how i go about talking about this . i actually really like this song and sequence but it’s brought down so bad and made so beyond creepy and horrifying to know that the writers are into this. i like the constant parallel of angel being his porn actor persona who loves sex and his abused reality where he wants to be free. and the scene where he’s dancing in front of a screen with the foxes intercut with his assault is really uncomfortable yeah but i like how it shows that he’s turning his own abuse and exploitation into entertainment . and the line “it’s so hard to resist another gulp!” or however it goes has a nice double meaning . it’s like “ughhh i love sex how could i resist it” but also “i want to resist but im so deep into this that i can’t” . i am not a sexual assault survivor so i don’t feel properly equipped to go into depth about the representation of angels ongoing abuse but from a PURELYcinematic standpoint as someone with a passion for this stuff i feel like this song did well, but again it’s made so much worse and creepier knowing the writers who made this

the spots under angels eyes are more eyes??.huh

ohhi don’t really. like the message of that song actually 🙁 it has been established that angel dusts pervertedness and desperation for drugs is not who he really is nor who he likes to be but husk telling him “hey it’s okay to be like that” and angel immediately coming around to it just feels.ehhh…..it feels like he’s taking one step forward and two steps back . i get that the message was supposed to be “embrace the bad parts of yourself! it’s okay to be a loser!” but in the context of the episode it doesn’t fit. good song in a vacuum

iiiidont really know how to feel about this. the episode was great up until loser baby which,is a song that i really like but it kinda does kill the whole episode imo. 5.5/10 unfortunate

meaning-wise more than anything is the best song we’ve gotten thus far. through the episode i didnt rlly understand lucifer i just thought he was funny but now i get it! and i love it

this episode was okay. alastor and mimzy take up way too much screen time for barely anything to happen but lucifer was an awesome character and i love him a lot . unfortunately he can’t save this episode though 6/10

okay. the writing is noticeably worse than the rest of the series in this episode the pacing is completely fucked. at least we get some adam content and vaggie lore but vaggie isn’t rlly a character i enjoy. however the humor is peak in this episode and pentious really carries it with his running bit. he can’t save much of the episode sadly. 4.5/10

the more i watch the intro i really don’t like it . it’s so boring

season finale! this was a phenomenal episode to end of a good series, though ill be real i don’t know if having a second season is a good idea. most if not all of the conflicts are resolved among the main cast. ending it off with pentious getting into heaven is amazing though. episode is a 9/10 it was funny and engaging and really fun all around.

overall score for the series is a 7.5/10 i really enjoyed it

jamal musiala dating someone that’s older than him could be like…:

to be honest, he didn’t really care about your age when you guys met, you looked young, around his age and you got along well, that’s all that mattered to him. so, when you revealed that you were a bit older than him, he just shrugged with his shoulders, nodding and then continued on with what ever you guys were talking about previously. yes, he always talked about how dating someone younger would be nice, since he was always the youngest one in his team. but he kind of accepted the fact that the people dearest to him will be older and with you proving his point, he stopped caring about age all together.

since you were pretty shy in the beginning of your relationship, jamal tried his best to come out of his shell for you, doing the first moves here and there, like asking you out or texting you first. however, as time passes by with you getting used to one another, you also asked him out on dates now, texting him randomly throughout the day to send memes or whatever. even though jamal won’t be able to answer immediately every time, since training takes up lots of time, he still appreciates you trying your best to make the first moves as well.

when you first met some of his teammates, phonzy and leroy being the first ones you were introduced as his partner to, they didn’t think that you were older than their precious bambi, teasing him about finally being the elder one. however, when you found the courage to correct them, explaining that you were indeed older than jamal, the two started hollering, giving you high fives and teasing jamal even more. you laughed at their antics, teasing your boyfriend as well, still holding back a bit though, as you wanted to defend him too. (you teased him more than defending him)

“i reallly don’t see the problem of looking younger than you actually are.” jamal begins, laying on the couch with his feet resting on the little table infront of it. you stood next to it, showcasing him your outfit while also complaining about your baby-face. “i want people to take me seriously.” you groan, hands stemmed on your hips as you furrow your eyebrows. “well, at least you’ll look like a hot milf in your fifties.” your boyfriend says, grinning like an idiot at you as you try your hardest not to jump on top of him. “great way of cheering me up, bambi, really.” you roll your eyes, not bothering to hide your smile. “was? ist halt so, we both would look really cool, i bet.” he argues, sitting up and sneaking his arms around your hips as he rested his chin at your abdomen, looking up at you as you place your hands on his broad shoulders. “whatever.”

REALLLY bad memory issues. Jeremy, due to this, tells Mike that there's a chance he could forget about him, and gives him one of his dog tags, so atleast a part of him can be with him wherever he goes. THEEEENNNNNNNNNNN Mike bides by that wish and decides not contact Jeremy, then simply vanishes after Sister Location shenanigans SOO YEAH THEY HAVEN'T TALKED OR A WHILE LMAO A good like-- maybe 40 years? LMFAO IF SB IS SET IN THE 2020's AND LATER JKSHGHSD

But I figured out that solution to recognising Mike would be the dog tags that I added in Jeremy's design. I still dunno why I added them, I just think they're neat :3 It'd make more sense to recognise one of your items worn by some stranger then an accent bc who knows how many British families have moved into Hurricane Utah and out in the span of 40 years lol

Nonetheless, thats just what I'm thinkin' tbh! SORRY THIS IS LONG IDK WHY I WENT ON A TANGANT LMAO But yeah-- thats sorta my reasoning. ALSO YEAH I GET THAT! Surprisingly, I remember my fam exceedingly well.... mostly bc we're a very small family, so recognising them by voice and face is pretty easy for me!

I watched Dunki on the second day (sorry, i had to break the tradition of watching the first day first show cause depression won over), and it was underwhelming, to say the least.

So yes, there was a plot, but the execution sucked? I was not at all entertained nor moved by any of the reasons why these 3 wanted to go to London. None of the reasons felt pressing enough for them to undertake this extremely dangerous journey. I was moved only by Vicky Kaushal's backstory. But that was it. Neither has the movie utilised the actor Boman Irani, which was sad. None of the jokes landed for me. They were too cringe 😭 I also did not like Taapsee or SRK's performance (his acting sucked sorry he was overacting😭) but of course, SRK is a treat to watch on screen.

But I did like SRK's character, Hardy, tho. He reminded me of our kdrama oppas, and then it struck me that SRK has always given us oppa vibes!

I feel like one of the main reason Bollywood movies suck nowadays is because of the way they are executed. They just know how to fuck up a good plot with their extremely bad execution. But if you look at Jawan, directed by a South Indian, everything about it was top-notch. Even tho, one would say it really doesn't have a plot (I don't necessarily agree with this but ok), everything about it was executed reallly well - from cinematography, to backstory to songs, etc.

That being said, I'm extremely happy that SRK had a great year in terms of conquering the box office. I'm also very glad that I could watch all 3 of his movies at the cinemas this year (watched Pathaan and Jawan twice at the cinemas 😎). I also absolutely never care about plots if there's SRK, so even if continues to make shitty films, I'll always go watch it.

I'll miss him in 2024 😭

My Welcome Home Aus!

( Some of these aus are inspired by others ideas, I will give the names if I remember them )

New World - The world of Welcome Home was destroyed by the infamous Wally Darling, who had killed the inhumane creators and wrecked him, his friends, and family ( Which was only his mother and Eddie). The only one who was conscious in the ‘ Disposal Void ‘ was him, of course, and he couldn’t bare see the ones he loved lay unconscious, their felt torn, stuffing spilt, and body parts ripped from their very bodies. So, Wally sew them all back together with golden threads that caught his attention ( He didn’t know why the thread wa actually gold, but he knew it was laying near a brown book with a gold infinity sign on it. He took that too ). After patching his loved ones up he realized that their was nothing else of the world they once lived in, but unknowingly to him, he could make one of his own, from his own mine, and manipulate it however he pleased. But the previous world would not leave his memories no matter how hard he tried.

Breaking The Show, Anything Goes! ( The person who gave me the idea to make this au is anonymous on AO3, but their fanfic is called “Falling In Love With Living” ) - After the creators ditched the puppets and the viewers stopped watching the Welcome Home cast caught themselves in a time loop, but the only ones who was aware of it were Wally and Home. Being the only sentient beings in the neighborhood they helped each other cope with the world they were in but found themselves going mad over the repetitiveness of everyday that has been going on for five years.

But one day their friends started acting weird and suspicious, which was not supposed to happen in the episode they went over everyday. They started gaining sentience, and messed up everything from there. New places and people started to show up, the world started acting a little too real as well as their neighborly best friends. Tearing apart every script, ruining every episode, and even acting out of character. Wally Darling tried to stop the madness and make everything go back to normal ( Since new was wrong ), I mean sure, he was physically and mentally tired of the days repeated over and over and over and over and over and over again but he feared that if things kept going like this the world would simply end. But would it reallly?

Darling Little Mischeif ( This was particularly inspired by the person who created the vampire Wally au, I just can’t remember their @ ) - A Halloween WH au where the puppets live side by side with humans along with puppet monster and humanoid monsters. Their neighborhood is full of sunshine and happiness as well as spookiness and mystery, especially since people have been randomly going missing, sometimes found extremely injured, turned into rainbow vampires, or dead. Nobody knows who’s causing the disasters, not even the police, so the Welcome Home characters help find out what’s going on! —

Lights, Camera, Action! ( I don’t know who originally made this au ) - Actor au. That’s it.

Smile On Your Own - A world where everything is near perfection, no capitalism, no criminalism, no evil, no negativity. A world that was made by Wally Darling.

Wally makes a world that is brilliant, bright and perfect ( Like him ) and brings people who are miserable and desperate for a change to that world! Julie Joyful and Frank Frankly are the first ones to come across it, thinking it was fiction and showing it off to their friends until they all get trapped in it. And once they find out who runs the place they immediately blame it on Wally. But he claims that it will make all of their worries, despressions, anxiety and negative feelings go away in a snap! Their not falling for it, still thinking it’s a malicious trap. But oh, Wally will make them wish they gave in.

30 Days of Writing - 01.01.2023 Sheogorath

note: I'm totally not writing this at 10:30pm ..... don't judge my taste in men

Of course the strange man asks you to find his master, it's not like he could have asked anyone else. No it had to be you. It's true, you are quite interested in the deadric arts, but that doesn't give you the qualification to find a random dude....in the forbidden part of the blue palace.

Now that, after a lot of begging, you were finally able to enter the Palegius Wing, it's quite dusty...but that's what happens when a place is left alone for hundreds of years. As you make your way through a long corridor you start to feel dizzy.

As the feeling subsides you notice you're not in the palace anymore, you aren't even sure if you're still in Solitude, or even still in Skyrim. You look around and notice two men sitting at a table having a lively conversation...well one of them at least, he's wearing a purple and orange top and has white hair, his presence feels familiar almost like the one you felt when you did Meridia's bidding. The other man looks quite sad? depressed?...you can't really make out the expresion.

"You are far too hard on yourself, my dear, sweet, homicidally insane Pelagius. What would the people do without you? Dance? Sing? Smile? Grow old? You are the best Septim that's ever ruled. Well, except for that Martin fellow, but he turned into a dragon god, and that's hardly sporting... "

Pelagius? that guy has been dead for years, there's no way that guy sitting a the table could be the horrbile emperor....and Martin Septim? noone in all of Tamriel would talk about his great sacrafice in such a sloppy manner. Meanwhile the gray haired man notices you and makes the other man disapear.

"Well well well, what a sight for the sore eyes. What brings a pretty little mortal like you here?" the way he talked made you flustered, it's not often someone calls you pretty, they usually comment on your strength and abilities as the dragonborn.

"I was asked to deliver a message, can you please return home? your people seem to miss you."

"You puny little mortal, do you have any Idea who i am?!"

"No...I'm just here because I can't say no people asking for my help."

"Well now that's a little awkward. I'm Sheogorath the daedric prince of madness, May I ask who you are, my silly little mortal? I need to know who has the guts to show up here reeking of Meridia."

"I'm the Dragonborn, your follower asked me to come get you. I'm also the champion of Meridia."

Sheogorath gets out of his chair to walk around you and look you up and down.

"Well, Dragonborn you don't suppose Meridia would mind sharing her champion, one can only encounter such beauty every thousands of years."

"Becoming her champion wasn't reallly my choice, she just yelled at me until I returned her beacon to her shrine."

"Perfect. I have a deal to propose, I return to the Shivering Isles and in return you become my champion, I will give you the Wabbajack and I get to visit you whenever."

You aren't sure why he would want to visit you, but the thought of a companion during your travels makes you happy, in the few minutes you got to know him, you already figured out he is fun to be around.

"I accept your offer, but you better know good jokes"

From this moment on your travels are never going to be lonely ever again.

You turn the faucet off and dry your hands. When you finally turn around to give him your full attention, you lightly jump to see how much closer he’s gotten. “I know we just talked about this, but I have some more questions about our agreement” he bends down a bit to look at you clearly. You peek over his shoulder to see if anyone has stumble into the kitchen. “Here? Now?”

“Mhm” he gnaws on him bottom lip, moving his head in front of yours so you’ll look at him. His eyes flicker between your eyes and your mouth. A picture you feel as if you’ve seen too many time before. “Ok… What is it?” You look away, trying your best to sound nonchalant. “If we fuck, we have to promise to remain honest with each other” you turn to him with a expression that he can’t help but laugh at. “What does that mean?”

“I mean, if you happen to catch feelings for me, you have to tell me, deal?”

What if you already did?

“And if I catch feelings for you, I’ll tell you. That way we can end it”

End it?

“We both need this right? I mean, I trust you, and I’m assuming you trust me.. right?” You nod in agreement. “So deal?” You think for a moment. He leans forward. placing his hands in the counter behind you, caging you in.

“So like friends with benefits?”

“Let’s not call it that” he slightly shacks his head.

“Why not?”

“You really never watch tv shows do you?”

You roll your eyes again

“This isn’t a tv show” you argue. “feels like one”

“Ok… whatever. No feelings” you agree grabbing his hand from the counter behind you to shake it, as if making a business deal. He laughs at your seriousness. But He reallly wanted to correct you, He wanted to interrupt you tell you ‘I never said no feelings’ but those words refuse to lead his lips for some reason.

“but that might be pretty hard, considering your already madly in love with me” you joke, hopefully hiding the thoughts that are playing In Your head. You get fidgety, feeling as if he could read your mind.

He laughs- scoffs* with his tongue poking the inside of his cheek. “Real funny” you join him.

You two stare at each other for a moment.

“So… why do you want to have a friends with benefits relationship…. With…. Me?” You ask. Curious eyes now following his when he tries to look away.

“I thought we weren’t calling it that.”

“What are we calling it then?”

“Two friends helping each other out”

“Hm… Are you not going to answer my question?”

“I’m a 22 year old guy in college y/n, I’m horny 24/7, and your a women. It just works out” he shrugs trying to dismiss your piercing eyes.

Your smile drops to deadpan at him. “There will be other ‘women’ at the party tonight, so why me?” You push.

“Does it matter?” He argues, looking between your eyes.

“It does now” you argue back, crossing your arms dramatically.

So stubborn you both thought at the same time.

“Y/n” you turn to the entry way of the kitchen to see Yuta and Yejun at the door……

Favorite character: a tie between Charly and Mary.... i literally cannot chose between them Second favorite character: Frank, to complete the trio, he's such an asshole but i do love him

Least favorite character: Not a proper answer because I really don't have a least favorite character but gussie was honestly done a little bit dirty by the show.i understand that it's a very easy way of showing how the friendship collapsed overtime but the show makes it seem like it was all gussies fault and i feel so bad for her because it wasn't as if she was deliberately doing it it just sorta happened but whatever.

The character I’m most like: hm. i think maybe Act Two Frank specifically just bc im so so in love with theatre. merrily is so so special to me bc it really captures that magic. not a character but i really really relate to Opening Doors bc thats just what writing a show is like or making any art reallly.

Favorite pairing: Frank/Charly/Mary not just platonic not romantic not sexual but a secret fourth thing (including all the above) they loved each other so much!

Least favorite pairing: theo I totally agree with everything you said about frank and meg. i cant think of anyone else i could say so i might as welll copy your answer

Favorite moment: Opening Doors which has grown on me since i heard that Sondheim said it was his only autobiographic song. as well as the previously discussed reliability of it, it's such an earworm, like ive had it stuck in my head basically alll year its crazy. Also it shows how close they were together which makes it incredibly heartbreaking also

Rating out of 10: 9/10. its one of my favourite musicals ever! obligatory point reduction for whatever was wrong with the original production (Hal Prince wtf were you doing casting children??)

The Raven Cycle

Favorite character: Ronan Lynch <3 Second favorite character: oh god. im just going to say chainsaw bc i love her so much and i don't want to single out any of the other protagonists bc then i feel bad.

Least favorite character: Maggie Steifvater is such a great author I cannot name a single character I'm not 100% invested in, even ones that would be so easy to get bored by, like Mr Gray or Greenmantle I need to learn everything about them ever.

The character I’m most like: gansey tbh. to the point where i try not to think about it

Favorite pairing: all of the guys (aka blue, gansey, adam, ronan, noah and maybe henry, i don't know him so well yet). basically the same as my merrily answer, labels don't really matter: what matters is they all love each other so so much its insaneeeeeee. im also a big sucker for whatever ronan and adam have going on

Least favorite pairing: tbh i wasn't so invested in maura and the gray man at first.

Favorite moment: i love it when ronan is protective of chainsaw.. he loves that bird so much

Rating out of 10: 11/10 aka so good its literally having a detrimental impact on my school results and mental health/sleep :)

Hamlet

Favorite character: Hamlet Thee Dane. truly the character of all time

Second favorite character: i think about ophelia every single day

Least favorite character: depends on the production tbh. like i used to not care about laertes and polonius, but i became obsessed with the former either last year or the year before, and the version i read this year (Nicki Greenberg's graphic novel which i would recommend) had a really engaging interpretation of the latter which was so good i got sad when he died.

The character I’m most like: hamlet is literally me btw.

Favorite pairing: tragic danish boyfriends is a classic and brilliant but hamlet and laertes also upsets me so so much. like they are literally perfect foils

Least favorite pairing: ugh. gertrude and hamlet sexually. freud suck my dick

Favorite moment: yes ive seen/read it 5 times now. no, i've never not been emotionally destroyed by the ending

Rating out of 10: 10/10. one of the best pieces of fiction ever. which is a totally subjective statement but also im right.

So I’ve been thinking about it a while and the rise boys are gonna be different then they are in the show. Like splinter was hella depressed and that affected how the kids grew up

Like Raph was the oldest and had to play parent when dad couldn’t

Leo didn’t get enough attention or praise so he started doing it himself making him look full of himself

Donnie also didn’t get enough attention causing him to seek it out wherever he could sometimes ignoring red flags

Mikey had to be the family therapist to take care of his brothers mental health because no one else could

But being raised by the 12 boys? They’d be better off. Even just a little bit. I think some stuff would still shine through but maybe for different reasons. In Japanese culture who is the oldest sibling means a lot. Splinter raised Leo like that and I think wether he means to or not he’s gonna treat Ralphie the same way (Raph doesn’t want to do that to him coz he saw what a toll it took on Leo) which means Ralphies not gonna go savage mode when he’s alone or have as bad separation anxiety

Leon and Danny are going to get enough attention and praise here meaning Leon for sure is gonna seem less full of himself maybe even have less self esteem issues. Danny is way less likely to ignore red flags because an adult showed some interest in him

And Mikey might still have dr delicate touch but I feel like that would come about more as being the youngest and needing a tough personality to clash with his brothers

Tho of course spending that time with Draxum is defo gonna leave it’s mark on the kids (but that’s another ask)

The boys are definitely better off in the au!

A fun Idea that kinda came from this was Ralphie and Leon sharing the leader role once Sensei Leo makes the call. Ralphie as eldest HAS been carrying the burden of leader for a while so Leo decides the have him split leadership with Leon early on.

This leads to a bit of tension between Ralphie and Leon early on but the two talk it out, and talk with Leo about it. Leo knows the burden of Eldest Son so he wants to lessen it by splitting it up between two.

Few years down the line Leon and Ralphie and full functioning leaders of the younger Hamato’s. Hell even sometimes they let Danny and Mikey call the shots to have them get a feel for leadership!

With Danny and Leon both definitely get all the attention they wanted when they were younger (my Mona and Uncle Mikey respectively) so if anything they reallly lean into the theater kid aspect but without the need for attention nor constant validation. They know how good they are.

They do still have huge egos though because of it. But recognize much more obvious red flags now.

Mikey not having to use Dr. Delicate touch as often leads to the persona being left at its early stages of Mikey being is say emotionally sensitive to those around him? Like he can read a room in an instant and can read people better. Just because the boys weren’t raised by Rise splint doesn’t mean he hasn’t seen PTSD episodes and the like.

Very much a person who still tries to help everyone emotionally.

Ralphie definitely has more confidence in his brothers, though he still haggles a bit about Little Mikey going out on a mission alone. Who knows his brothers can handle themselves pretty well in a fight, Leon and his silver tongue, Danny and his use of brain games and Mikey with his mastery of ‘Ninja Vanish’.

They can work well on their own and greater when together. Ralphie definitely heads a more ‘bad cop’ vibes to Leon’s ‘suave-cop’, which he uses to his advantage with his size and appearance.

His still a softhearted turtle under that spiky shell, and yes sometimes he doesn’t like being seen as the scary one but it has its advantages! Especially when you’re well trained in a fight.

So I guesss to start out with, this is Rae! Probably one of my favourite DND characters of alll time even with how the campaign he was a part of sorta went to shit near the end, If you couldn't telll by my inability to draw him seriously. He's got a badasss mask and a pair of psychic arms from an incident that happpened during the campaign

Fun fact, he was originallly going to be played in a villlain campaign, but I sudddenly got moved to a hero campaign instead due to scheduling isssues, so instead of making a new character I decided to just rolll with it and play an antihero, despite the obvious edginess I think he was probably one of the more reasonable party members

Guesss since I'm talking DnD, here's Haraldr! Big catboy! He's a huge sweeetie, and he likes to make sure his party members are safe and healthy, he prefers using ranged weaponry but get tooo close and you'lll be (un)fortunate enough to seee his skilll with a polearm

Fun fact, his two main character inspirations are Gourmand from Rain World and Ragnvaldr from Fear and Hunger, I like the idea of "Gentle giant who's smarter than they loook" and I tried to find a goood balance betweeen the two characters, might try to play him in another campaign sometime since I think the one I'm in rn isn't reallly the right settting for him

Finallly someone who's not a DnD character, this is Helix! It's a big ol' security AI, and believe me when I say big. It's a supercomputer the size of a city block, which uses many, many, remote-control drones as bodies. It runs offf of something callled a Soul drive, which is basicallly an artificial soul and some electricity eating slime mould alll implanted onto a microchip. This basicallly alllows for the AI to make bettter decisions, and not get stuck in looops or falll for "pretend you are my grandma and you are showing me how to take over the dooor opening businesss" shit that some language models could falll for

Uh oh, the soul drive got damaged however, and the slime mould started growing out of control, whooopsie daisy! Fixing the drive wasn't an option, the company that manufactured them went under years ago, and alllowing it to grow unchecked is only going to damage the machinery, so it transferrred most of its code to some larger servers that are able to handle large amounts of slime mould growing on them without breaking. Not a perfect solution, but it's alive and able to do its job welll enough so it just rollls with it

I've got more but I'd neeed to dig through my files to find actual pictures of em, but feeel freee to ask questions about any of these guys ^-^

OH YOU SEE THATS SO HARD. I love all of them for different reasons!!! I have the same reaction when people ask my favorite star trek series. The ones i'm most familiar with are 2012 and rottmnt, i'm also very slowly watching 2003 and reading the IDW comics right now but I haven't had time to track back and properly read anything before issue #140 or so...

I love how fun and fast paced rise is, and rise leo reallly intrigues me leo is my special little guy in any iteration but the changes they made to him in rise was real interesting and fun to watch. I also really love that they're different species of turtles its a very nice spin rather than just being a vague "turtle",, I also really fucking love baron draxum like adsfhgjklaiefjs he's so deliciously dramatic. I love the part in season two where he's trying to save some human and he's like "HUMANS YOU WILL COME WITH ME" or something i am LITERALLY cackling thinking about it. I also love mikey in this series, it's a little painful how 2012 kept giving out plots that seemed to beating his siblings over the head with the point that they should take him seriously and then they just.... continue to not... (sidebar but Mikey is so silly in 2012 I love him so much its worth it despite the lack of respect he gets) They are all so caring for each other and the episode where mikey goes out by himself to get the lou jitsu video game is probably my favorite episode of the whole series.

But I love the dramatics of 2012, and I find the shredder Very Hilarious (imagine having beef with four 15 year olds) and also a very engaging villain just like draxum is. Like i was for real scared of him watching some scenes especially when leo got his ass whooped by him. I also love leo in this one (once again he's my special little guy across all iterations) I love how he's a star trek nerd (well.. "space heroes" but cmon.. it was star trek and as a trekkie i appreciate it so hard. I know in my heart leo would convince donnie to dress up as spock with him as kirk). But 2012 also has its fair share of silly times and fun episodes and good action I think its a really nice balance. The writing gets more flimsy later on in seasons... 3+ i think i'd say? (don't get me started on leo's injury after the krang invasion I was so disappointment on how it was handled it could have been SO GOOD and it WASN'T.) (also don't get me started on Karai they built up this interesting character and then all but dropped her off any of the plotline...) But they're still enjoyable and I love the characters and their interactions.. 2012 Donnie is special to me he's such a sarcastic ass (said affectionately). I have seen mixed feelings on the Splinter from this one and honestly I find him hilarious at times in a very very specific way that I can't describe right now. I think its clear how he cares for them despite the fact that he's harsher or stricter at times than rise splinter. I love all the brothers personalities I feel like they are very well established and it works very well they're SUCH a joy to watch. I also like that they leaned more heavily into the sci-fi elements tmnt goes into sometimes, personally.

I've also seen people say they act more like teenagers in rise and I personally don't get that, every tmnt thing I've watched so far they act so teenager-y it hurts. Cue 2012 Splinter grounding them and them all immediately sneaking out.

If I had to pick one, I think despite my gripes with some of their choices I had the most fun with 2012.

I have so so much more I could say and i don't think I mentioned April once im so sorry April but this is long as fuck LMAO
