So I've been drinking a lot of ginger tea today because my throat is sore (and not for any fun reasons either) and I make tea in a french press because it's easier to clean up when dealing with loose leaf tea. (Just swish it with water and dump it into a sive and pop that into the yard waste bin) Anyways... Why do I feel like the boys would gasp in shock and horror watching the reader do something similar?

Soap would love it. Just because it would be a slight to the others 😂

If reader's going to drink tea...it's going to be the proper British way of doing it lol. (I feel like reader would just drink it plain too just because) They'd be horrified and reader would just shrug and go "I'm American. The only tea we drink is iced"

Cue more dramatic horrified gasps.

They'd absolutely force her to sit down as they make her a proper cup.

I feel like reader would be on Soap's side when it comes to the tea vs coffee debate lol. He was absolutely insufferable when the reader chose coffee over tea.

Pulled the trigger on a hotel for me and the kids July 1st-3rd. I can't afford more than two nights but it'll be a nice week since the holiday is the day after. So, I'll have a really long weekend. The kids have wanted to go back to the beach and I decided I needed to make that happen for them. Hope we get good weather. It's ridiculous that it's so expensive to go, wish I knew someone who had a beach house they'd rent to me.

Sometimes I think, you know, I've gotten pretty good at dealing with this cold weather shit. And then today it's about 60 degrees and I'm still cold in a hoodie and a hat*, and I realize I'll never stop being a Floridian.

*to be fair half the people on the street are still wearing coats cause it's, you know, cooler by the lake, but there's the hardcore midwesterners in the neighborhood in shorts and teeshirts.
