Sick and tired already of American liberals immediately trying to somehow make what's happening in Brazil somehow republicans fault.

It's literally Fucking Democrats.

You wanna be mad at people spreading right wing ideology and platforming extremists? Blame Democrats.

Republicans arent the ones intentionally platforming extremists in the first place. ACTUAL normal Republicans are PISSED that they keep losing to extremists who run on a Republican ticket. And they're even more pissed that most people wouldn't even KNOW about the extremist candidates if it wasn't for Democrats intentionally shoving them into people's faces with campaign ads "raising awareness" about extremist candidates.

Democrats may talk shit about Trump but they love him as a candidate even more than Republicans do. Even fucking Bernie Sanders. Yeah. The "left-wing" socdem everyone simps over? He likes Trump too.

Democrats have incentive to keep Trump supporters and extremists on the ballot and they've admitted it.

Republicans are MORE divided over trump than Democrats are.

Take as much time as you need with that.

Then, when you're over it start demanding that Democrats who pretend to hate Trump in interviews and press conferences only to turn around and fund, platform, and aid far right campaigns... Be removed from office.

Demand they stop HELPING trump's picks. Republicans are NOT fucking doing that. They're doing the opposite. Why? Cuz it's costing them seats. Which, sure okay might be a little biased of a reason but at least they fucking have a reason. At least they're TRYING.

No, I don't want Republicans in charge of anything either but you know what I would NEVER risk to stop it? Putting a fucking white supremacist on the ballot and helping right-wing ideology spread globally JUST so a Democrat can have a seat instead.

Judge rejects Trump’s request for House committee records on 6 January

On Monday, a judge has rejected Donald Trump’s request to review congressional investigation into the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol, which the former president says may be relevant to his defence against allegations of election meddling.

US District Judge Tanya Chutkan in Washington, D.C., found that Trump had “insufficiently justified his requests” for information related to the Democratic-led House investigation that ended in 2022.

Donald Trump sought to subpoena materials that his lawyers said were “missing” from the House investigation, including transcripts and videos of conversations with law enforcement officials.

The judge found that Trump’s lawyers had not shown how videos of the same conversations could be relevant to his defence and that prosecutors had already provided Trump with written transcripts of those conversations.

Trump has refused to plead guilty to charges that he illegally tried to undo his defeat in the 2020 election. The case, brought by special counsel Jack Smith, is one of four criminal cases filed against Trump, who is seeking the Republican Party’s nomination in 2024.

Sort of Political

I haven't used this blog in a long time, but recently decided to use it to post comments related to politics. I didn't want to put it into the mix on my other social media accounts because I just didn't want political brangling in that mix -- mainly because I might not be interested in saying anything deep about policy. But the Tumblr blog seemed an ideal place.

So, this first new post is about a drawing I did back in early April. It is called "Contempt."

I had not really planned to do anything related to DJT, but one day I just felt the need to make a sort of visual commentary of my perception of his character. This expression captures how I think he really feels about the rest of the world: he has contempt for everyone else. And he was willing to see the whole structure of our country be pulled down just to satisfy his own ends.
