i find it interesting when you play as Keiji around chapter 3, he reacts to Joe's death portrait in the gallery if you click it. he doesn't really say anything but a dialogue bubble still pops up anyway. meanwhile Megumi's death portrait is literally beside Joe's but if you click it nothing happens.

i forgot that the Eccentric Mansion case starts with a discussion of the black org boss’ email address and that this was when haibara said the famous ‘that mail address is one you should never open, a Pandora’s Box’ line, which means there’re not one not two but THREE cases where the Black Org plot progresses while Kid is involved? Not even including the case in which Furuya and Kid now got to know each other? And the increasing build-up of elements linking Furuya to Rum??? COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT???

so i was rewatching st4 when i realized smth: usually, every d&d game that the party plays is relevant to what happens: and actually, everything said is practically foreshadowing:

will rolls a 7. he then tells mike 'the demogorgon got me'. he goes missing THAT night because a demogorgon actually got him.

in s2, you hear a chime of a grandfather clock when hopper jumps into the upside down (the tunnels).. sound familiar?

when dustin and max walk into the video store, a cut-out of freddy kruger is behind her. vecna's inspiration. (freddy kruger comes in peoples dreams, and has long claws (like vecna))

kali is referenced: lucas's basketball jersey is the number '8'

mr clarke tells dustin, lucas and mike: 'you'd have to create a massive amount of energy- more than humans are capable of creating mind you, to open up some kind of tear in time and space and then you create a door way.' and then states 'If it did, I'd think we would know. It would disrupt gravity, magnetic fields, our environment' the gate did already exist: as told in s2/s1 when the crops start dying. but the gate was already open- in s3, after el closes the gate, the russians try to reopen them; disrupting the radio signal; and then again in s4, where it fucks around w their compass (magnetic fields)

murray predicts the russians in s2, warning hopper about it.

jason tells lucas in v1 'first hangover feels like you're gonna split in 2 but you'll live' jason then dies in v2 by being split in 2 by the upside down.

jonathan or steve could die in s5. s4 was heavily based off 'a nightmare on elm street', which ironically has a main character who is called nancy. they both act as 'detectives'- and we all know that scene where johnny depp gets literally eaten by his bed- nancy's boyfriend. i'm saying steve because well.. steve harrington is basically johnny depp, but canonically, jonathan is more likely to die.

eddie had a tattoo of a swarm of bats, foreshadowing exactly how he died- from a swarm of bats.
