I wanna know how you feel and think about alhaitham. How down bad are you for him? Do you amusedly roll your eyes when you read/hear him hes just a feeble scholar with a six packs you wanna paw and biceps that doesnt skip an arm day you wanna rest on??? Thanks!

Honestly, right now I think about Alhaitham only in the context of the dynamic @j0succ has crafted with him and Kaveh co-sharing a darling, which I've fallen head over heels with. Go read every post they've made on the topic because it really sticks to your gut.

But I think about Alhaitham mostly being overbearing and condescending and (in his reasoning) "academic" about it all.

All of your complaints are easily brushed off to him. You want to go home? You can't, your reputation is in disgrace and you could be arrested for fraud. (Nevermind that he's the one who arranged this.) You want to see your friends? Impossible, even if you weren't disgraced, they were the reason that you acted to irresponsibly in the first place, they're a bad influence on you. He's trying to better you, and it would undue all his progress.

You want to go outside? Ridiculous. Someone could see you. You could get hurt. You could try to run away. He'll rattle off all the ways you've been disobedient recently, and ask, does this sound like someone who can be trusted outside? Of course it doesn't.

(And if you are obedient and you do what he says, well, you wouldn't be asking to go outside at all, because he said you shouldn't go outside and you're supposed to view his word as law. So the mere act of asking shows that you aren't being good. It's a trap, really.)

His goal is to mold you into a better person--the person he wants you to be. Which is someone obedient and sweet and submissive, who looks at him with gratitude, who doesn't cry and whine and struggle when he tells you to undress or when he tells you to sit still and let him kiss you. Someone who profusely thanks him for letting you borrow paper and writing utensils, for buying you something that isn't Spartan and bare-bones. Someone who doesn't cry and ask him to let you go. Someone who trusts that he knows what's right, he's smarter, he's better suited to caring for you than you ever were for yourself.

But then, there's Kaveh--

Kaveh is always there to pick up the pieces of your broken life, wiping your tears, kissing your cheek, rubbing your back. You can sit right with him on the sofa and cry about how you miss your friends and family, you miss the feel of grass, you miss the fresh air, you miss your life.

And that's okay, he'll cluck and hush you and hold you, and in a few hours you'll have a vase of some gorgeous wildflowers sourced from a market that plucks them in Avidya forest, a new book that you mentioned earlier that Alhaitham refused to buy for you because you told him he's a creepy fuck the night before. He'll snuggle with you and read it to you, if you want? And you could use some alone time, but you feel more beholden to Kaveh than is healthy (he went out of his way to get these things, knowing that Alhaitham is going to be mad about it, how could you turn down his request?) so you let him curl up with you and rest your head against his chest.

And if Alhaitham walks in and visibly bristles at the way you snuggle into Kaveh's embrace, the way you don't try to squirm out of his arms, is it such a bad thing to enjoy it? You have so little to enjoy nowadays, after all.

with ej, in my au, he doesnt really. like conflict, especially since his own body is changing into something that isnt human; he already has enough on his plate already, doesnt need to go bury an extra body because he let his temper get the better of him

and every now and then, that mindset of avoiding conflict bleeds to how he views you and your attitude

hes happy that you can defend yourself, like hoodie he admires it; but at the same time he gets so scared that youre going to pick a fight with the wrong person or get hit in the wrong spot, and..

and sees that he has the chance to be better.

so im proud to present our lore in extreme detail, its kinda rambly and very long!!

kitty note: a lot of at’s canon events still happen, most of canon resides in the past, betty never comes back, so golb is never summoned. islands happens but no humans come back to ooo in fear of vampires, which are still an issue since marceline isnt alive either (referring back to the fact wk has ice marcy, implying something bad happened to her). some other canon events happen later on, so the timeline compared to ats is all over the place lol 😭 this has nothing in common with the f&c canon outside of the bare bones

ik/wk gets ahold of the crown & puts it on in front of betty

betty doesnt get summoned to the present, she moves on after leaving simon

bella noche gets summoned & ice king becomes simon again

this is the first time kitty gets a glimpse of who ik truly is

this, obviously, is an eye opener for them & they want to help ik gain his lucidity once more

kitty takes betty’s place in punching bella noche

marcy, as stated before, has passed & hambo is long gone, which prevents simon from creating the portal to apologize to betty

after bella noche’s defeat and kitty’s discovery, they ask bonnie for help in their quest to fix/cure the ik

bonnie agrees & offers to do some preliminary research on ik’s crown while kitty is away on royal business

bonnie uses the machine from “broke his crown”

ice king comes along with gunter

while ik and bonnie are using the machine & preoccupied, gunter is bored & starts pressing any and every button on the machine

this causes the machine to overload and explode

this accident transfers the curse of the crown from ik to bonnie via electric shock (from the explosion)/magic (the explosion malfunctions ik’s crown & the curse is transferred)

bonnie has amnesia from the crown curse

kitty returns from royal business and cant find ik anywhere and finds bonnie’s lab destroyed

kitty comes across bonnie, now bonbon, first

“…trying out a new look bonbon?”

“who’s bonbon? who are you? how did you get in here?”

bonbon is kind of aggressive, her mental state is adjusting to the curse

kitty, freaked out, goes in search of the ik, who is now the winter king

they finally come across wk while searching deep in the newly-forming winter kingdom

they ask him what happened & he genuinely has no idea what happened exactly, but offers to use his newfound conscious thought to help figure things out

kitty thanks him & they return back to their own kingdom

over the course of the next six months, kitty tries to adjust to bonbon’s changes & tries to help her remember

bonbon shows no interest in kitty, as the curse’s infatuation sets her sights on wk

kitty tries (and fails!) to ignore this & they try to help bonbon regain her memories

“i just got you back and ive lost you again” energy

kitty approaches wk & tells him that theyre going to be leaving to find a cure for bonbon’s madness & they werent sure when they would return

kitty’s sibling becomes the main one in charge in their absence & it stays this way

they lose touch with the wk after some time, leading him to believe they might be injured or worse- dead

kitty spends ~7.5 decades looking for a magic cure where both wk can continue to be wk and bonbon can turn back to normal to no avail

kitty meets magic man outside of the wastelands of ooo, where he promises to help in exchange for a favor

he’s still trying to steal glob/gob/grob/grod’s residual powers

the process malfunctions due to an interruption & magic mans powers transfers to kitty, making them magic woman

for the remaining 25 years before they return, they do intensive and obsessive magic studies in order to find a cure

they also occasionally watch bonbon from afar, watching the candy kingdom be rebuilt & just seeing how she’s doing

it is very painful for them but they miss her so much that they cant help themselves sometimes

bunny, age 24 by the time the 100 years have passed, meets winter king while assisting the ice scouts with another one of cq’s kidnappings

bunny is related to finn since josuha treated being an adventurer like a family business, so the tradition carries

impressed by their skill, wk appoints bunny to be his personal body guard due to their skill with a sword

since theyre always together, wk and bunny get to know each other rather quickly & become fast friends, bonding over magic and science

after some time, wk finds himself falling for bunny and he is not shy about those feelings in the slightest

he constantly flirts with them & makes it known that he likes them

bunny is oblivious + has had a crush on wk by this point anyway

wk takes bunny to some royal business & they get stressed out by all the people there/feeling like they dont belong due to the fancy event

wk takes bunny aside and gives them a pep-talk, a sweet one at that

“i wouldnt have invited you if i didnt think you wouldnt belong”

his hand is gently sliding towards theirs, interconnecting their fingers

“i brought you as my date for a reason..”

bunny.exe has stopped working

they confess their feelings to each other & they spend the rest of the event away from everyone, talking the night away.

wk and bunny enter a romantic relationship

two years pass & wk needs to go to wizard city, bunny accompanies him

the two run into kitty, causing a whole mess of emotions to run through wk- not good ones

kitty starts coming around more & becomes friends with bunny

kitty’s sudden reappearance is stirring up a lot of bad memories, thoughts & feelings with wk. despite this, the two are slowly rekindling a friendship

due to the bad feelings, wk is pulling away from bunny & is drowning himself in his work, this is a slow process, it takes a few weeks before bunny says anything

the stress of emotions is reaching to the point where he’s starting to see so much of betty in bunny & its scaring him

not to mention he’s feeling guilty about something…👀

during wk’s slow pull-back, bunny and kitty are venting to each other about their respective issues

my sona reveals that bonbon wasnt always the way she was & tells the story from their own perspective

bunny, having no idea this ever happened, decides to confront wk about his distance & why he never told them that he knew what was wrong with bonbon

during this confrontation, wk finally breaks down and reveals to bunny everything about what has happened & his thoughts

“you remind me so much of her..”

he also reveals the fact that there is a cure for bonbon’s madness that he discovered during kitty’s absence, but the caveat is that he would become the ik again. theres no way to be fully rid of the curse.

“are you ever going to tell kitty?”

“no. ive worked so hard for what ive had & i dont want to lose it.”

“but you really should, its unfair to them to hold onto hope that isnt th-“

“im not telling them!” he snaps at them

after he snaps at bunny, they decide that they need to think about things for a while & they spend the next few months in the magic man house with kitty

at some point during this period, kitty decides to go on a date with bonbon, mirroring bespoken for

rather than getting angry and frustrated like betty, they get progressively more upset and sad

during their breakdown, they reveal to bonbon that they used to date

bonbon later thinks about this & it begins the crowns obsession/infatuation slow shift from wk to kitty

this date doesn’t go well & kitty ends it early

bunny’s sona is the one to give the tiny manticore speech

“maybe you're going after someone who doesn't exist anymore. why not take her as she is? after all, you’ve been through a lot of changes yourself”

kitty takes bunny’s speech to heart & they think it over, but not immediately

on wk’s side of things, he is miserable and alone & wants nothing more than to apologize to bunny

he seeks out kitty, who takes him to the magic man house

he apologizes profusely

“i never meant to push you away.. ive just spent so long trying to avoid these feelings that i ended up exploding. i’m horrible at dealing with negative emotions, but i want to work on it for you. i am so sorry, bunny”

bunny, after hearing his apology, forgives him & they return back to the winter kingdom with wk

bunny & the winter king, once reunited, try and figure out a way to tell kitty that there is a cure to bonbon’s madness in a way that they wont freak out/blow up/snap

during this time, kitty comes back bonbon to give their date another shot, apologizing for how abruptly it ended last time

they end up having a simple spaghetti dinner & kitty realizes they have more in common now then they did 100 years ago

this date goes well & they continue to go on dates, falling in love with each other all over again

bunny and wk finally find a way to tell kitty that there is a cure but it would reverse everything in wk

my sona, interrupts them before they can say more than “we found a cure-“ and tells the two that they dont want to fix bonbon anymore & that things finally feel the way they should now, ending my sona’s arc

the four of them can finally relax & enjoy life once more & they all become close friends once more :3

how did it get this way? how did things get this bad...

May as well start from the beginning...

You and Rengoku used to be friends.. maybe you even considered him as a possible partner at some point...

but that bridge was burned a long time ago.

You and Kyojuro were on a mission and the aftereffects were.. disastrous. Half of the city was destroyed and in the end there were many casualties.

Kyojuro spent hours trying to find you and eventually the kakushi had to force him to leave to prevent further injury. they never did find your body..

Kyojuro thought you were dead for the longest time and this tore him to shreds. it wasn't till two years later he'd meet up with you by chance again. when he first laid eyes on you his face lit up and his first instinct was to run to you and hug you tightly... but the moment he noticed your... changes did his smile fade and his heart break.

"Miss me?" you say sinisterly.

"Y/n... Y/n your- your a-" he clenched his sword "WHY!!" his voice broken and hurt "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO FIGHT THEM NOT JOIN THEM!!"

"Maybe you should have thought about that before you abandoned me!!"

You then explained how the moment the buildings fell you fought every second to see his face again. you spent two years in a hospital in Tokyo alone and every time you sent a letter they were sent back. still the very idea of being able to see him kept you going. to see his smile and hold you the moment you were to lock eyes again.. but instead, the moment you set foot on property of the flame estate his father informed you to leave. even throwing you out himself when you refused. Senjuro and Kyo were out in another town so there was no way he could have known..

"KYOJURO DOESNT WANT YOU!"

"Wha- what do you mean" you squint

"He's engaged."

Kyojuro knew shinjuro had plans to set him up with a girl in another town but he never thought his father would go this far. left alone with your thoughts you wondered the streets. your bones were sore and you spent whatever yen you had left in your pocket on food. as you sat outside eating your Tokoyaki a new feeling began to bubble and your thoughts were racing. things that didn't matter before suddenly had new meaning in your deranged head. you somehow came to the conclusion that kyojuro secretly hated you.. for the longest time and had planned on leaving you to die there..

you tried to shove that idea out of your head but that's when muzan appeared. Muzan had a way with words and when you were heartbroken, delirious, broke and alone anything sounded good. so when he asked you to become a demon...

you took it.

Kyojuro was stunned and felt sorry you had to go through all of that. he couldn't stop thinking about how one thing had been different than everything would have been different for you.

"I want you to hurt like you hurt me... i want you to lose like i did and more. i want you to suffer like i did. i want to hurt you and i want to enjoy it."

Though the battle ended with you running away dew to the sun.. those words were seared on his heart. and he never forgot.

Time passed.

You would meet again and again. and battle.

He'd almost win some and You'd almost win others..

but it always ended the same way...

you'd run before it'd even finish.

**Present Day**

It was nighttime and you were walking by the train tracks. as you did you kicked a few rocks. suddenly you smelled something.. blood. as you ran to see what it was there was another familiar aspect that night. you felt fire.. not burning but the heat of it. mixed with the battle aura of a strong warrior.

'there is no way.'

Kyojuro was standing there panting and it was clear how many crucial hits he took. in front of him was his opponent. Upper three Akaza. this. this was an unfair fight. as a demon you knew exactly what he was capable of and akaza held the rank FAR longer than kyojuro has been alive. it was clear cut in your mind who would win.

Yet... he still kept going... his aura strong as ever...

a small exhale left as you watched. flashes of your human life flipped in your mind. memories of you two sparing flashed along side the fight, the moves almost synched. Kyo took his eyes off the battle for a moment and he saw you. this caused him to smile.

"WHAT!!" you felt almost stabbed through the chest with shock. after all this time he still smiled at you. out of all the times you tried to kill him he smiles at you warmly...

The only reason you clung to your humanity was pure rage and so you'd remember the pain...

but that wasn't the only reason...

part of you still wanted to hold onto the fondness of those joyful memories. remember the sparkle of his eyes and his face.

it was then something clicked. you had to step in.

right when akaza was about to punch Kyojuro's stomach kyojuro felt something push him to the ground. 'what on-'

the moment the dust cleared He was shocked. Akaza tried to free himself but you held him firmly

"WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH YOU!!"

"I'm not letting you leave."

"Let go!"

"No!"

Akaza looked over and saw the sun was rising "Let go!"

"No."

"YOU FOOL!! YOU REALIZE THE MOMENT THAT SUN RISES WE DIE!!"

"oh I'm counting on it." you smile at him not taking your eyes off him for a second. Kyojuro struggled to get up using his sword at support while Tanjiro and Inoske ran over attempting to cut his head off. Akaza looked around and saw. he was in checkmate. you used you demon strength keeping a hold on him and refusing to let go. Akaza used his leg to kick you back at kyojuro's feet and he swiftly ran off.

"Coward!" you call out to him then look up and saw.. the first light of day.. you felt as you began to turn to ash all the while your body still was regenerating the hole in your stomach. you cry out in pain covering your face as if that'd do any good. you look up and see kyojuro attempting to shade you and block the sun. you continue to cry slightly from the pain. kyojuro whispered to you "hey it's okay.. it's okay.. i'm here..." his voice sounded like a whisper almost. he kneeled down covering you more and holding you in an embrace.

"I'm so sorry... i never meant any of that stuff. i don't hate you and i never did!!" you confess.

"i know.." he simply says holding you tighter.

"r-really?.."

he nods

"...so... we are still friends.."

"...more than that... if you'll still have me"

your eyes fill with tears, and you hug back swiftly "Yes. of course yes.." you smiled as you began to fade. Kyojuro held you tighter trying to hold back tears.

"i had forgotten how beautiful the sun was.."

"Y/n please.. i- I CANT LOSE YOU AGAIN!!"

"live. do me a favor and live. they need you.. the hashira and the corps.. they need you... but me... you don't need me..." you sigh feeling your face began to fade and you close your eyes

"I DO- I DO AND I-"

you winced and kyo put you head in his chest try to delay the sun longer "Promise me! PROMISE ME THAT IN ANOTHER LIFE WE'LL MEET AGAIN."

"...wherever you are.. i'll find you.. i promise" you smile softly then... nothing.

Kyojuro held your body tight till nothing was left and all that was left was the clothes you were wearing and your haori. he cried a lot after that, till his stomach hurt still holding your haori.

'Y/n... you always mattered to me'

So ends the story of the fallen angel..

Im not retconning because Kasha is better than her anyways 🙄 /hj Kasha was raised in Doma on a small farm! She had a younger brother and an older sister, her older sisters name was Kasha and she was killed by an unknown group. My wol then took their sisters name and fled to Eorzea on a refugee boat. She landed in Ul’dah and started from there! Kasha is VERY aggressive, mean, and insulting. She does not know basic manners and will speak her mind freely. Eats with their hands and also eats ANYTHING… Kasha doesnt like being the WoL, but continues this role because if she wont then who will? They’re very loud and boisterous and confident. Introducing Eleutherios! The lovable Azem who spent his days travelling Etheirys, caring for its people, and annoying the Convocation. Until everything fell apart, of course. On the eve of the Sundering, he denounced both the Convocation and Venat, choosing to find his own path to end the Final Days. Paths that didn't involve summoning gods or killing half of the star's population and then some. But Venat and the others had chosen their courses, and fate had been set. Now, Eleutherios should have died when Hydaelyn broke the world. But he did not. Why? Well, because of the timeline splitting in two. When? When a traveller from the future arrived in Elpis to learn the truth of the Final Days, of course. This traveller? Eleutherios himself. Hydaelyn had spared him from Her spell, making him Her chosen, in the same vein as the Unsundered Ascians being chosen to carry out Zodiark's will. Eleutherios believed the Ascians' plan to restore the world to what it once was foolish. Their people were dead. Nothing can fix that. They just have to push forward and make the best of the future they've been given. But his fellow Unsundered couldn't see this, trapped in their ideals of what the star should be. They needed to see it for what it is. But how could he expect the Convocation to do that, when the only one of them who ever seemed to care about the individual lives of the people was him? So someone has to fight for the new life springing up across the star. And thus began his great work. He's risen up to be the Warrior of Light countless times, over and over, for eons. With each Rejoining marking another failure. Time and time again he had to watch as everything he fought for was reduced to ash. Once, twice, seventh. It seemingly never ended. But what choice did he have? If he didn't fight against the Ascians, he was practically working for them by letting them get away with these atrocities. And so he carries onward as he's always done. But unbeknownst to him, this time was different. This time he meets the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. This time he travels to another Shard and manages to prevent a Rejoining. This time he isn't alone to face the second Final Days. This time, everything will finally be ok.

q. Why should YOU win? (Answer IC!) a. "Well, I'll be honest with you, I don't mind if I win or not. I just like participating and getting to know everyone! Oh, and I'll promise I'll hold back, for their sake. Though if they're Warriors of Light I'm sure they'll all hold up just fine! But if you want a serious answer about why I specifically should win, then…" [Eleutherios takes a moment to think.] "I should win based off of the fact that I have eons more experience in this whole 'Warrior of Light' business than the rest of them do. I've been at it since the Sundering! Not to say that my many, many years of experience is needed to be a Warrior of Light, or that I'm better than the rest, which couldn't be further from the truth. I think we all stand equal, sundered or not."

I uh. I just finished ghost wax ep 44. I'm devastated. I need several moments. At least a day actually. Jesus christ.

(spoilers for part 44)

First of all I love the incantations. Iconic. I have all of them written down in Google keep. The empty table. The world's last fable. Dead mortar, bone pestle. Come death to your vessel. Come now, entropy. The spiral of time. Spin, spin fast. And seer and cable. Pen, fog, and fable. Stay within, flat and pinned. Love all of it and I am actively wanting more of them to memorize for enrichment. And now time to go feral over the Happenings.

So I'm kindof unclear on what happened to pip, did she essentially get jonah magnused, as in whatever entity Charles served controls her eyes now? Does she still have control of the rest of her body? Does the entity have control and she's just watching from within or is she essentially dead/incapacitated with the entity puppeting her? Ack augh I really liked the episode where she had the dream thing where the other characters were her friends and family, Luca as her brother, Owen and Azem (AUGH ILL GET TO HIM) as her uncles ("Uncle cid will be delightfully catty," ACK.), and she lied her way out of it even with the incredibly tempting offer of a world she could control where she can have an actual support system, and she gave it all away to protect the same people in the real world. That episode made me much more familiar with her character than I had been, idk what happened while I was listening but I was pretty neutral about her before this episode bc I didn't know her and AUGH she was just trying to help Charlie and he manipulated her away and into getting caught by whatever he serves and AUGH SHE DOESNT EVEN KNOW WHATS HAPPENING WITH OWEN AND LUCA

We also get a lot more Luca lore in the most recent episodes with his childhood and the beginning of whatever's going on with his soul that at one point Owen said his spirit is incomplete? And Owen gives him a replica of the thing he pulled out of his dream 😭 sobbing. Luca my beloved augh is he dead?? I saw a theory that the body Owens hamsa instincts latched onto was his so what's going to happen to them if that's true? Is one of them going to disappear or is it going to be a John and Arthur Malevolent situation or even will they combine like Paul from Nona the ninth? If that is the case I'm leaning towards something between disappearance and a malevolent situation bc Owen seems to have kept what remains of Azem with him all this time, and he cares enough about Luca that I think he'd do his best to not erase him as much as he possibly could. Luca my boy please don't be dead ;_;

Owen my beloved AUGH. ACK. ALDKSJ. Owen you are devastating me. Apologizing to Charlie bc he failed him when from what I understand pretty much nothing Owen could have done for him would have helped him not do this and then pleading for just five to seven more minutes so he can release what's left of Azem and also cause as little damage as he does as possible??? SIR. I AM WEEPING. He's old, so so old, and he's been here for so long and held on to Azem for so long that all he wants is to be able to let him go, to give him this one last thing. He accepts that he's about to die and that he will lose this last connection to his partner so quickly, and he just wants to give that which remains of Azem the best chance he can give him. I think the fact that he was pleading for this long-dead figure that only remains in mere fragments in Owens head at best to be released and not for his own life and continued connection to Azem broke me. I do think that the body he was in for all that time had some significance regarding Azem, maybe it was azems body?? I think it might be more likely it's the body he held when he met and was with Azem though, but also that whatever parts of Azem are left are tethered to that body, and he can't take him with him if he takes a new one, and he's afraid of letting go even when it's to his own detriment, because he starts using the wax recorders when he starts losing memories of reclaiming from the sheer vast amount of them he has in that brain. When he doesn't want to use an observed as bait and someone suggests he use himself instead and he says he can't, and I think the intro to ep 41 has some interesting implications:

A: ["will you- will you"? Could be a name?] please, oh god, ["please don't make me"?] just let it be over, I don't want it I don't want it anymore-

B: shh, come now, come now it's almost over. hush, hush, my love, we believe in you.

A: I can't, please

B: you knew this would not be easy. You know that. you cannot stop now, it is too late.

A: [weakly, as if weeping] please don't make me

B: this is what you chose. It is the right choice. None of this, none of it is real. It's all just a vivid dream. You choose to wake up. Just a few steps further, my love. [Interspersed with noises from A that sound like sobbing] Free yourself. Almost. [sigh? Or a laugh? Possibly "there"?]

I think "A" is Owen and "B" is either some corruption of Azem or something using his countenance and voice. It's too late at night and I kinda forgot what exactly happened in 41 so I can't elaborate exactly why I think this. However perhaps it is related to the thing Charles is serving (the cypher? Unclear to me) possibly attempting to get Owen to give up prematurely, maybe with a dream such as the one pip had but Actively Bad And Worse? It's something, that's for sure. I couldn't understand some of it too so that's probably contributing to my confusion

jim's mother is in her late 30s at the time of the story

jim's dad and dr livesey were long-time close friends

as such dr livesey is a family friend of jim's and has been like an uncle figure for jim pretty much since he was born (might have even been the one helping jim's mom birth jim if thats not too weird)

even moreso when jim's father died in the Battle of Fontenoy where he and dr livesey were in the same unit

when jim's father died, ownership of the inn was passed on to jim, but he only formally owns it, his mother does all of the actual management and planning. he just cleans up and decks tables and such

jim's mom has always been pretty protective of her son but that amplified tenfold when she recieved the news of her husband's death

she is very strict with jim, constantly stressing the importance of good manners, hence why jim is such a soft spoken kind boy

her and dr livesey both imposed a lot of importance on health on jim as well. jim has very regular health check ups and of course does his exercise every morning and doesnt smoke or drink

above all else ms hawkins wants her boy to be safe, she is a big worrywart when it comes to him, since she doesn't want to lose anyone else in her family so soon (that includes dr livesey too, she moms him around quite a bit as well)

she was out of town when jim got visited by billy bones and subsequently invovled in the hunt for captain flint's treasure, buying supplies for the inn in shepperdine

(the admiral benbow inn is in newtown by the bristol channel btw)

ms hawkins semi-accurately believed her son was kidnapped and had a right proper mental breakdown

one of trelawney's servants informed her that jim has headed to bristol with the doctor and the squire which calmed her down just a little bit, but still left her wracked with nerves and anxiously waiting for their return

upon arriving back in england, dr livesey, trelawney and captain smollett personally escorted jim back home to make sure the boy safely gets there (also dr livesey remembered that ms hawkins would be back from her errands by now and knows she was gonna be PISSED so he wanted to resolve any potential misunderstandings as soon as possible)

ms hawkins reacted about as well as you would expect upon finding out her son was on a life-threatening adventure with pirates and casualties. she grabbed the three men and took them to another room whereupon she reprimanded them very vocally for the danger they put her son through

livesey manages to calm her down a little bit by repeatedly assuring her that jim is totally fine (minus the mental scars but those arent noticable yet) and that a majority of flint's treasure will be going towards her and the inn

also i want her and captain smollett to get together because i will take literally every oppertunity to put a worldweary strict man together with a widowed mother and have them be two people who lost so much but now they have each other

hi hi! i was wondering if you had any tips on Solosis care? i recently got one as a gift from my dad, but i have no idea what i'm supposed to do to take care of it. i really want it to grow up well but i've never had a Pokemon before and im a little scared. :(

congrats on getting your first pokemon! it's super exciting, but it's also normal to feel nervous about it. your vet is always a great resource, as they can tailor care advice to your individual pokemon's needs.

the good news about solosis is they're VERY hardy, and they eat just about anything. their physical needs are fairly easy to maintain as a result. the main issue is ensuring they get a properly balanced diet. my boyfriend feeds jelly baby a diet primarily of organ meat and bones supplemented with fruit and vegetables, but solosis aren't native to paldea so finding a commercial food is tough. if you live someplace where they're native, you should be able to find a vet-formulated commercial diet for them! fair warning: they dissolve their food in the liquid surrounding their body, so you will literally see your solosis digest its meals.

their behaviors can be a little tricky, as they're psychic types that primarily use their psychic powers to communicate and explore the world around them. youre gonna have to get used to seeing things floating through the air around you. the most important thing is training them when it's appropriate to use their powers to pick things up- a "give it to me" command is your best friend here! that being said, giving them lots of objects to pick up and manipulate with their powers is great enrichment for them! jelly baby loves playing with baby toys, since they have lots of pieces to manipulate. it's also important to give your solosis some objects to balance on its head. they're known to do this in the wild, and we're not entirely sure why- it might have something to do with balance, given how little they weigh! jelly baby likes to carry produce around, but he also has his special rock that we take with us everywhere (he gets sad if he doesnt have it)

(( oh, well i dont think about my bendy's ink demon form as much as his little toon form so it probably wont be as long and detailed as my [toon bendy headcanons] but i'll try

he is 7'7"

only turns into the ink demon when he's really angry or if he has to for a short amount of time

prefers staying as his regular toon form

he talks but not too much. his voice is distorted and growly. sounds like his regular toon voice but deeper and slower

very inky and will get ink everywhere and on you. when he transforms back to his toon self, the ink will disappear

has the ability to travel through the inky puddles he makes

can manipulate a lot of ink and can even make ink appear out of nowhere

the angrier he is as the ink demon, the more demonic the aura is around him. this demonic aura can wilt plants, mess with machines, scare off animals, give anyone a sense of fear and dread, and so on. ink starts to drip from the walls as well

the longer he stays in this form, the less control toon bendy has of him, which is why he doesnt like to be him for very long (or at all)

he also starts to get a bad headache

66 likes to communicate with him in this form since it belonged to him first. the longer he stays as the ink demon, the more 66 tries to take over

being angry as the ink demon also has toon bendy less in control of it. this anger could make him lash out at others and want to hurt them

he never shows this form to the public, only his closest family and friends know about it

he definitely won't try to make any new friends as the ink demon

when it comes to lovers, if bendy could help it, he will never show this form to them

this form is capable of hurting and even killing people so he'd hate if he was the one who hurt his lover

he'd feel so guilty and awful and hate himself even more

if his lover accidentally saw his ink demon form, he'd panic and feel ashamed that they saw that side of him. he'd transform back into his toon form and try to explain himself, even pleading that they don't leave him

but if his lover were okay with his ink demon form, then he'd be so gentle and careful around them when he turns into it again

having someone he's truly in love with around his ink demon form can help him stay as the ink demon for much longer since he has more motivation to be under control and stable

the same goes with his friends/family. he'd hate to lose control and hurt the people he cared about so he'd put in a lot of effort to be under control

he can tune out 66's voice much easier and the headache will be nonexistent

he will protect his family, friends, and his lover with his life

yes the ink demon can still wag his tail and purr

still hates random people touching his tail and will smack them with it

like regular bendy, he loves pets but will get ink on you if you try to pet him

will lay on you

sees his ink demon form as a monstrosity undeserving of love so if his lover showed affection to his ink demon form, he will get very flustered and confused

he would be excited to do things with his lover that he couldn't do in his small form, like carry them and big spoon them

among other things

he still likes cuddling so his lover has to prepare to be all inked up temporarily

he's not as squishy as his toon form. if you felt his body you could feel bone, but it's just an imitation as he doesn't have any bones

stupid little things that i hc for hjp

-his favorite kind of music is 90s R&B bc thats what he grew up with, he absolutely cannot stand wixen music no matter how hard he trys

-he HATES pizza. hates it.

-he got bullied into getting a new pair of glasses when he got older bc his old one finally got broken beyond repair and when he got the new prescription he just kept stairing at trees and saying "oh my godric mione theres like actual leaves on the trees. like i can see every individual one."

-his favorite icecream is strawberry cheesecake, but a close second is cookie dough

-he has this really big sweatshirt he shrinks to carry around in his pocket werever he goes bc its so usefull when he gets cold

-talking abt getting cold, this mf is FREEZING 24/7. not a warm bone in his body. his teeth r chattering in 40° weather and his fingers turn blue if hes outside too long.

-he is slightly deaf in his right ear, partially from the killing curse messing with him, and also bc he fell down the stairs when he was like 4 and smashed his frontal lobe on the linoleum floor, and it never healed right.

-his favorite animals are snakes (obvi) and sometimes he goes to muggle pet shops to go talk to them bc he gets so sad that there locked in a glass cage and cant get out

-he has really bad blood circulation and when he sits criss cross his legs will go numb and when he trys to walk it off he looks like an idiot and his friends laugh at him

-pravati and padma and still friends with him and will invite him to hang out so they can paint his nails and try to fix his hair

-he was always tanner then alot of the kids at privit drive, bc he wasnt white, but he never got out much in the summers bc he wasn't allowed to so he always looked more pasty than he should have. the summer after the war he spent so much time outside and he tanned so much that when get went back for 8th year minerva thought he was james for a second

-he loves making friendship bracelets for people but hes so bad at them because of how shaky his hands are but everyone he gifts one too never complains.

-he has a necklace with the sirius star constellation

-he bought a magic ring that shows the moon and what phase it is the moment he looks at it, because he can never seem to keep track of it for the life of him and he wants to be able to for remus

-sometimes when he wakes up his hair does weird things so he grabs a pair of sissors and hacks off the bits that stick out bc "it will grow back hermione it really doesnt matter that much"

-he helped the twins pull a prank on ron so that every cup he drank out of for two weeks would flip itself upside down into his lap. ron eventually just started drinking with a straw though

-he and hermione lie to ron about muggle things all the time because its fucking hilarious to see him believe anything they say.

-he stole a street cat that was wandering around his flat one time bc it bothered him that it didnt have a home, and he named it "shitass" because it was the loudest and most annoying cat harry had ever met.

-he is expected to be late to class by most of his teachers. when he shows up on time it's like an actual surprise

-his full name is actually Haris James Potter and he had no clue until when remus was repremanding him and said his full name and he was like "..who?"

-harry has extensive knowledge on periods because of how much hermione complains about hers

-he only drinks his coffee black but he puts a shit load of honey into his tea

-he has a hard time differentiating his left from his right

-he sucks at spelling. actually once spelt his own name wrong on a assignments and snape graded him down for it.
