Last song I listened to: Alas, Ice Ice Baby has been stuck in my head for a few days...

Dream trip: I lived in England for a few years in my youth and I would love to head back and meet up with some friends. And then I want to go goof off and retread the path my music group toured throughout Europe in 2005. Basically, I wanna go climb around castles and spend lots of time in museums.

Currently watching: Star Trek (never actually watched the original series before) and anything I'm giffing

Currently reading: Ella Enchanted (to my nieces at bedtime; the book is amazing and the movie is the worst book:film adaptation I have e v e r seen;I despise it with every fiber of my being), The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien, and way too much fanfic (some of you are amazing writers!)

Current obsession: Learning new editing software. Hopefully it pays off.

[sorry, had to screenshot the question and edit some of it; it held spoilers for Z’s story - I think a past follower from DA asked? not sure! sorry, anon!] There were a lot of good moments!

I mean, Z had a very short time spent with his wife and child total, but what time he did spend meant a lot to him and to Lilo - of course, Ani doesn't remember any of it; she was fresh out of the oven back then ^^

I think the favorite moment I wrote a lil thing for waaaay back when was the day they brought Ani home from the hospital. Zeke wouldn't put her down and Lilo hovered around him trying to get him to let her have her kid back because "She's gonna get overexposure or something!" "From what, her dad?" "IT'S MY TURN" "YOU HAD HER NINE MONTHS, LILO, IT IS MY TURN"

Lilo used to call Nani in the middle of the night, panicking because Ani wasn't in the room anymore, and the second she walked out onto the lil porch of their Honolulu shack she'd see Zeke was just sitting out there stealing some quality time with Ani (it was usually the only time Ani wasn't screaming during the night, actually).

I’ve been editing together a big playlist for Savisnow. Mainly for myself and for Doverstar, something to help with getting in the mood to write the ship, but maybe someone else will enjoy it too (or find it inspirational for creating more content?) so linking it here. Since He and Lotis Wife are on-and-off together, how did they first meet? Was it that they were both courting the opposite of the same couple? Like He was courting Yin while Lotis Wife courted Yang or something like that. They also both seem to have a fondness for human dating rituals, so has that influenced how Ani tries to instruct Angel in dating along with the usual rom-coms?

Ani doesn’t really instruct Angel on human dating that often, and the only thing she pulls from when she does is 40’s/50’s TV stereotypes. Lilo is quick to tell her that He and Lotis’ way of doing things is an example of how not to deal with romance!

The other stuff I don’t know for sure; Arti may edit this later with her opinion!

Did Jumba "reprogram" any cousins like Felix and Bugby, and for what purpose?

Doverstar:

A few have been reprogrammed (Arti knows better than I do), and I considered having Angel reprogrammed. [Basically because 621 could use her abilities to do massive damage, but I think it suits him better to convince the other Experiments to turn back to their old ways of their own accord. So Angel's not reprogrammed, it was just an idea.]

As far as I know, Felix and Bugby were the only ones who needed reprogramming, though that could change. I think Experiments like Nosy are at a disadvantage there - for example, Nosy is designed to get all the goods on everyone, specifically for wartimes or strategies against one's enemies, but you can see from his episode that he's kinda useless at that because he has enough independence in his programming to be interested only in harmful gossip. (Still evil, way to go, Jumba.) So he might need to be reprogrammed (or at the very least, differently motivated) to actually discover secrets that are necessary for the benefit of humanity. My thought is he'd head into work with Cobra Bubbles and the CIA, a little like Shush, to get in on the more difficult-to-reach secrets of the enemy. I think Checkers might need a little reprogramming as well; you can't have an Experiment running around that causes people to lose all sense of free will! I think he'd work well in plays (and still in parades) where he'd help inspire actors (or audiences) to treat whoever's playing the part of royalty like royalty, but not as an absolute power over others. Just the ability to cause the wearer to be seen as regal for that short period of time, you know? ArtistIssues will probably add her thoughts in an edit to this post later, though, so check back in for that!

Yes, hello! I haven’t finished building my whole Experiment database, but so far I can tell you with certainty that Blandzilla was also reprogrammed! He was designed to drain the creativity or quirkiness, if you will, out of someone by touching them. Then he grows larger. His One True Place was with Sprout at the Kokaua Town Fair as a Dinosaur-themed slide. But of course, Jumba had to reprogram him a little so that he wasn’t sucking the personality out of every kid that rode down his back! Now, when Blandzilla touches someone, he can control whether or not he drains their quirkiness, and in the Fair’s off season he used his ability to help tourists who were in Hawaii on business relax. This made him an easy target for 621, who couldn’t have a giant enemy stomping on his plans. On deviantArt I featured this lore about him with this art piece:

Are there experiments specially designed at the request of Hamsterviel?

Doverstar I'm answering this one for now cuz I think Arti and I agree on this, but she will probably edit it and add her opinion at some point! As far as we know, the only Experiment Hamsterviel ever actually requested was Leroy. He had a hand in creating the very first Experiment, X-001, Shrink, and it was apparently disastrous. But remember, it's cannon that Hamsterviel had no say in the creation of the Experiments. He only handled the finances of the operation! (See Leroy and Stitch for more details on Hamsterviel and Jumba's partnership!)
