rules: put your playlist on shuffle. for each of the 10 interview questions, select a lyric from the random song that comes up. (skip if there aren't any lyrics and make sure to drop the name of the song in your interview answer!)
1: first off, how would you describe yourself in one sentence?
Tiptoe down to the lonely places (loomer - my bloody valentine)
2: what kind of [capricorn] are you?
So why does this still hurt?
Don't blow your mind with whys (bloom - radiohead)
3: you're visiting your favorite spot, what are you thinking about?
Oh, your mysteries are moving in the sun (narc - paul banks remix)
4: if your life was a movie, what do you think the first review would say about it?
'Cause perfect didn't feel so perfect (come clean - hilary duff)
5: say you get a book deal, what are you titling your memoir?
What I am now's what I was then (the rebels - the cranberries)
6: what would you say about your best friends?
But when you smile
Oh, how I feel so good (all mine - portishead)
7: think back to when you had everything all figured out in high school, what was your life motto as a teenager?
When I find my home
The next artery
Splendid, I bled my whole life (if you really love nothing - interpol)
8: describe your aesthetic now
Stuck between the do or die, I feel emaciated (come home - placebo)
9: what's a lyric that they'll quote in your eulogy?
And we grin and we stare at the floor
Your jokes missed (stop talking - the walkmen)
10: and for our final question, say we believe in soulmates, what do you think their first impression of meeting you will be?
You are the crazy acrobat
You are the witch, I am your cat
I want to be a bit like you
I hope you don't mind if I do (acrobat - angel olsen)

"Here's what I believe. Shit fucking happens. That's rule one. Everybody walking the planet knows that. Rule two: things rarely turns out the way you planned. Three: everybody gets knocked down. Four, and most important of all; after you take those shots, it’s time to stand up and walk on—to continue to live". ~Duff McKagan
Happy 59th Birthday Duff McKagan! 🎉
What would we fans do without you? 🎸
Everyone loves Duff, there are no exceptions ❤️🔥
I'm just so proud of him 🎂
What can you wish such a wonderful person as Duff on his birthday?
He already has everything: he found the love of his life, he has wonderful daughters, he has been sober for years, he still looks like he is 30 (how does he do it?), he is successful, his career is amazing, he has talent, health, sense of humor, family, friends and loyal fans around the world 🎈
He is happy and I wish him to stay that way forever! ❤️
And happy birthday to Del James who also celebrates his birthday today! 🎉
PS. And I would definitely paint that house for him! ❤️ (Who remembers that joke? 😂)
#GNRBIRTHDAY

We enter the age of dragons with HBO's GAME OF THRONES prequel HOUSE OF THE DRAGON.
Instead of the blond toffs the Lannisters we're dealing with the other blond toffs the Targaryens.
In preparation HBO posted banners that represent the WB/Discovery offerings.
House Roy (SUCCESSION and House Wayne (Batman-verse, PENNYWORTH) all day, every day for me.
Other Houses includes FRIENDS, HARRY POTTER, VEEP, GOSSIP GIRL and SHARK WEEK.
Of course with this return to the world of "A Song of Ice and Fire" people's unhappiness with the ending of GOT is coming back to the fore. Even George R.R. Martin is (still) whinging about not being with the final seasons and how he wanted the show to run for 10 or 13 seasons but Dan Weiss and David Benioff wasn't interested in it.
I had minor quibbles with the final season but it in no way soured me on the overall show; and I don't have the burning hate for D&D as many people do, but GRRM really needs to give it a rest because he was supposed to have the books finished prior to the series ending. IIRC he was to have them completed by series 5 so why would D&D involve him more than they did (he was providing book notes/updates once the show eclipsed the books)? A few months ago he posted that he was struggling with a Brienne and Jamie chapter. That is the equivalent to a child pushing their food around on their plate when they're not hungry anymore. He has lost the passion for completing the books and I think it's because the show (for many) is the true canon. It's hard to want to finish when it seems someone else beat you to the punch.
GRRM...
-Another adaptation airing is BAD SISTERS.
Adapted by Sharon Horgan for Apple+ from the Belgian series CLAN, BAD SISTERS is a comedy-drama starring Horgan, Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Eve Hewson, Sarah Green as the Garvey sisters whose whole lives have been spent looking out for each other after losing their parents at a young age. When one of their husband dies (Claes Bang), two insurance agents (Brian Gleeson and Darryl McCormack) attempt to suss out if there was any foul play at hand.
