Pfft ♪#I found myself relating a lot to Sans especially while rereading - I want nothing more in the world than for my siblings to be happy! <3 #So I gathered up a bunch of ideas of things especially me and smol do together and this was the most obviously cute one haha #Easiest to do! #wailord #the ultimate Biggun. you can't even see their eyes. this is just a blue and white sphere. couldn't even tell what this is #there's no face to be found. the prey eyes are in full swing. this is just. chef's kiss. it's beautiful #everyone was talking about how it's a travesty that they made wailord small in newer pokémon games whereas it was big on the spinoffs #aka. y'know. games that were on home consoles and therefore powerful enough to handle bigass wailord #as opposed to tiny screens that would make it a little bit difficult to perceive an entire wailord. but we got it back in swsh (which was on #switch‚ aka half of a home console‚ even though i guess nintendo kinda still sees it as a handheld)#i dunno i'm posting this at 8 AM the morning of the june 21st direct. planning on catching that later. we'll see what they announce #nothing pokémon related obviously bc it's not a pokémon presents but pikmin 4 will be there. i didn't play 2 or 3 but i played 1 so. i care

#twdg #twdg clouis #clouis #twdg clementine #twdg louis #sometimes they creep back into my mind and i'm like 'ah yes' like a crow admiring a pretty stone they found years ago and kept #also thank you pi for the screenshots. i used to have a whole folder full of them but that was when i was doing themed nights #the source for these is me i just have a random document full of dynamics and ship things i enjoy because.....i dunno i like keeping track #and so many of them apply to clouis but there's also an overlap of with clouis and rose/alistair [my warden from origins and alistair] like #alistair's romance route is like an evolved matured and extended version of clouis sksksks gee i wonder if i have a type #look you present me with a character who deflects with humor and isn't taken seriously by the rest of the group and the longer you know the #the more you realize how high they've built a wall around themselves and how *unwell* they really are and how they're not as sunshine #as they present themselves and also they avoid leadership and responsibility until they grow closer with someone who pushes them #and they end stronger and more balanced as a person while finding the affection they've craved #and also there's the daddy issues #present me with that character as a romantic option and i'm in no questions asked okay i don't want the mean broody one that's meh to me #i want the one that has every reason to be broody but chooses not to be because they have a completely different defense mechanism #and a warped sense of themselves and self-esteem issues they leave unaddressed until forced to face them #i'm just saying i'm aware that i have a type i'm always going to gravitate toward clouis nearly checks all the boxes #also the lack of clouis these days? my crops are thirsty and i have too many ongoing projects to do anything about it other than this sksks #so until i make time to finish my long ass louis/clouis analysis this is the best i can provide for now

Nico and Reyna should have been a part of the seven. Not Percy and Annabeth.

I am long past the point of being upset about this, but it’s still something I feel is worth talking about.

Percy and Annabeth had their story. They had five books of that story in fact. Their arcs were pretty much completed by that point. Sure, there was room to expand the scraps that were left untouched, and I definitely think they should do that, but to do that there was no need for them to be parts of the seven.

I am aware that this would completely change the narrative of the story, but they can still be parts of the Argo crew

Now, when I say that, I mean that they'd function in a similar way that Nico and Reyna did in the original books

Reyna is a new character and Nico is one that’s far from having been developed to his fullest. Making them parts of the seven would give them more time to shine. Especially Reyna. The dynamics of the characters on this shp would need to shift and change from the beginning!

Like- Think of how this would effect the politics of Camp Jupiter? The fall into Tartarus? The blood of Olympus!?

And honestly I’d love for Percy and Annabeth to be tagging along to the quest, just not as part of the seven.

But of course, the people wanted Percy and Annabeth, and Percy and Annabeth was given too the people. They were even thrown into Tartarus for the people.

Judging from the reaction people had to Jason in The Lost Hero, the reason why Percy and Annabeth were a part of the seven is, of course, very clear, but that doesn’t mean I think a more interesting story could have been told if it had been Reyna and Nico.

#I don't really trust Riordan to write the sort of complex story im envisioning this change would have brought though #Especially during his hoo era #But I can think and speculate and I suppose that's all I need #Also I maniged to restrain myself from adding some of my Valdangelo agenda to this #Be proud of me. A little unpopular opinion on something I've seen happen more commonly throughout November/December and wanted to address quickly for my own blog: Please never hesitate to reblog anything from me. You see me reblogging a sentence starter list that you like? Go for it and reblog it from me directly without any pressure on you whatsoever to send anything into me before doing so. You like a GIF-set or musing that I reblogged? Nab it from me, it'll brighten my day to see that we share an interest in something. I like to see interaction between me and anyone who follows me. I like to see that little activity notification light up.

Honestly, it simply reminds me that we're all part of a community, and more specifically, a fandom that consists of characters and nations that we all came to love and then share that amongst ourselves. And honestly, seeing a reblog happen shortly after me but it's from the source, creates (in my opinion) an odd sense of chosen disconnect between people that can feel awkward, it's as if we're walking on eggshells as to not rub each other the wrong way. But what's wrong about going 'Hey, I see what you reblogged, I like it too!', it even gives you potential common ground to start a conversation. We're a community, and I don't know about you, but I like seeing people interact with each other beyond merely threads and notes. It's the little things that matter, after all.
