summary: the twins are being fussy and harry is happy to help
wc: 1.2k+
tw: don't read if you are scared of the word 'breast' and 'nipple' lol
///
Harry quietly thanked his driver with one foot already out the door. He was eager to get to his hotel room.
Before the twins were born, he naively thought that having his babies on tour with him meant that he would get to watch them dance along to his music every night and shower them with kisses before and after each show. He failed to realise that the twins would be fed and put to bed before the show even started, and that y/n would have to spend most shows watching from the screen in the dressing room, ready to feed them almost hourly. Thankfully, he still got to rock them to sleep every night. That private quiet moment between him and his wife would become something so precious to him, exchanging jokes and stealing little kisses while they each rocked a twin to sleep.
But tonight wasn’t one of those nights. Darcy and Dylan were fussy the whole day, refusing to nap and feed for more than half an hour at a time. Their little lips remained in a pout, only stopping to wail murderously. Needless to say, y/n was frazzled and stressed. She knew that the twins were starting to annoy the staff and crew and every time Harry had to stop working to check in on her, the guilt of being a bad mum would build. Not wanting to seem unable to control her children in front of everyone, she told him it would be best to bring the twins back to the hotel room. y/n knew it was the right decision, but she couldn’t help but feel disappointed for taking them away from Harry, especially when his face fell when he realised that he wouldn’t get to put the twins to sleep.
A loud cry was audible the moment the lift opened at his floor. He broke out into a jog.
“Hey H, how was the show tonight?” she asked with a shaky smile before trying to discreetly wipe the tears welling in her eyes.
Harry barely heard her over the twins’ crying. As he got changed, he took in the scene in front of him: his wife sitting up against the headboard nursing Dylan, who looked like he was refusing to latch, whilst trying to pat Darcy, who was screaming bloody murder, back to sleep.
“Oh, mama. I’m sorry they haven’t been good for ya.” He picked Darcy up and tucked her face into his neck. “Shh, daddy’s got ya ok? Please go to sleep baby.”
He leaned down to press a long, gentle kiss on y/n’s forehead to hopefully comfort her too. Despite the dim lighting, Harry could tell that she was frustrated and on the verge of tears.
Eyes never leaving y/n, Harry bounced Darcy in his arms by the side of the bed, humming lowly in her ear. He tried to keep calm and slow his heartbeat so that his chest would rise and fall at a slow, soothing pace, to hopefully lull his daughter to sleep. It was a real mental exercise because every time Daniel unlatched and started to whimper, y/n would sigh, and her shoulders would slump lower and lower. She hadn’t released her lower lip from her teeth the entire time. All Harry wanted was to take her in his arms and remind her what a great mother she was, and how much he loved her – anything to make her feel better.
Over an hour later, both babies had finally gone back to sleep. Dylan was finally full and had fallen asleep against y/n’s bare chest. He let out a deep exhale, hoping that the worst of it was over. He gently moved Dylan from y/n’s arms to his cot and gently kissed each baby one last time before diverting his attention to his wife.
She was still sat upright with arms laid out in front of her where Dylan once was, brows still furrowed and lower lip still in an intense bite, except her eyes were now closed. Harry had never seen a sadder tableau.
“Can I touch you lovie?” he asked nervously. Her body had been through so much, he was scared to add to any discomfort.
Upon receiving the slightest nod, Harry gently cleaned the spit and breast milk with a warm damp cloth before applying nipple cream as lightly as possible. After lowering her shirt, he crawled in beside her and tucked her into his arms.
His cheek rested on her head, eyes closed, and held her tight. “Tell me how you feel, please lovie,” he whispered.
At first, there was nothing. And then, she started trembling.
“It’s ok, let it all out mama. You did so good today by yourself, handling two fussy babies. I’m sorry I couldn’t be here with you the whole time. You are incredible and we are so lucky to have you.”
She started crying harder. It only took a second for him to join her.
Tears silently streamed down his face as he cradled y/n’s face into his neck. Her muffled cries and harsh hiccups only broke Harry’s heart more.
When she started to catch her breath, she finally found her voice again, “I’m sorry I couldn’t do it.”
Harry lifted his head abruptly. “What?”
“I couldn’t take care of them.”
“What do you mean? You did take care of them, that’s why they’re happy and healthy in their cots right now.”
She let out a breathy whimper at the reminder of the night. “That was you.”
“Hey,” Harry cupped her cheek and angled her head so that he could look her in the eyes, “that wasn’t just me. I didn’t bleed and ache to feed the twins. It was us, yeah. It has been and always will be us.”
“I’m a bad –“
“- don’t even start with me,” he scolds. “It was the first time they have been so fussy, and you can’t possibly nurse a baby while rocking the other. You did your best and that will always be good enough yeah.”
“But it’s my job to take care of them,” she protested. “You shouldn’t have to work all day and then come back to screaming and crying. I have one job and I couldn’t do it.”
Harry leans to rest his forehead against hers. “We are a team,” he said, kissing her nose between each word. “Being a parent is not just your job. I’m not at my job 24/7, so why should you?
“And you don’t just take care of the babies, you also take care of me, every second of every day. You gave up so much to be a full-time mum so that I could see my family on tour, because I am selfish and want to be with my babies every day. You love this family so much and that will always be enough.”
When y/n’s bottom lip starts to tremble again, his eyes grow wide, and he immediately goes to comfort her. “Please don’t cry anymore lovie. I love you so much.”
“It’s sappy tears now. You are too good to me. I love you and I’m so happy it’s you.”
Just as she finished her sentence, Harry closed the inch between them and pressed his lips softly to hers. She places her hand on his chest and deepens the kiss a little, allowing herself to just focus on Harry.
They separate and just gaze at each other for a minute, exchanging tender smiles. When the exhaustion of the night finally catches up them, they curl up against each other, enjoying the safety of each other’s embrace.
“I’m so happy it’s you too.”

Is it just me or does Dylan give off “good dad” vibes? Like imagine having kids with him and it just turns you on at how dedicated of a parent he is like. Yes. Look at you being the man of the house. Let’s make more lol.
breeding kink goes brrrrr 🙈✨
you'd been thinking of having kids for a while and it was less of a verbal discussion more you both just forgetting the baby risks ?? like he'd just fill you up so much ?? he would be daydreaming about getting pregnant while you'd kinda keep yourself tight around him and cry for him to cum more ??
so when you see him with your little niece in his arms, just keeping him on his hip and kissing her cheek when she gets fussy ?? yeah, you're definitely giving that man a baby.
you walk up to them and she immediately reaches for you which has your insides melting cause she's the cutest ever.
"oh really ? already abandoning me after i gave you cake ? you and your aunt are definitely the same. give her food and she abandons you..."
"what can i say ? great minds think alike. she smuggled you cake and now she's sharing with me, her favorite."
you three stay together with the little girl, taking turns carrying the girl. when you're both together, you press yourself on his chest, getting on your tip toes abd hugging him close. he's holding your waist and keeping you steady, looking down on you and you're both kinda thinking of the same thing ?? like you've been imagining each other with kids but you ?? you're wet at the simple idea of how good he'd be with kids or you pregnant ??
"didn't know you were so good with kids. makes me think."
"think of what bunny ?"
"you know... how well you'd be if we had kids of our own. and the baby making process too. fucking me so full that i end up waddling in a few months... having me look so big, i couldn't even see my feet anymore. I'd have to ask for your help on everything. bet you'd still try and fill me up even when I'd already be pregnant. belly so full of our kids but still trying to get me pregnant. you can imagine that dylan ? cause i can."
he isn't looking at you anymore, keeping his eyes screwed shut. his grip on your waist is hard enough for him to lift you up but he doesn't. he keeps himself calm, which is never a good sign. he leans down and whispers in your ear.
"go say goodbye to everyone. we're leaving in five minutes. when we get home, you call your work and tell them you won't be there tomorrow, you're sick. i want you to strip and place your clothes somewhere. and you better ne running, because when i catch you, i don't care where we are, who can see or hear. i'm giving you a baby and you know i'm not afraid of an audience."

Bad mom
A/N: Doctor Harry’s Blurb again. I’m doing different things here and now the narrative is going to change. I feel like writing like this now. Hope you feel like reading like this too!
Tumblr media
He still holds her close in bed even after eight years of marriage. Who would have thought that he’d be such a cuddler? But then again he couldn’t possibly know for before he wouldn’t want to sleep with anybody else but now, fourteen years later, he gets a shiver if he thinks of not having the shape of her body marked on their mattress.
She was already asleep when he got home and he would chop his own finger off before he woke her up these days so he checked on the kids, silently, just because he missed their chubby hands and the way they would stink his white shirts every time and how Hughie would say daddy and Dylan would always prefer his mum. They were both fast asleep on their matching beds, one on each far wall of the room and their room was a little messy so a small smile crept onto his lips for he reminds Blue telling him kids are just kids, babe, and they are messy and so is your wife, so you gotta get used to it.
Baby Ana’s deep breaths soothe his heart as he watches his youngest baby’s cherry mouth opened buried under thick, pink lips just like her mum’s. Harry thinks she looks so much like Blue when she’s asleep but then she’d open her eyes and they would be a light green, just like his, and he never even dreamt about making someone so gorgeous.
It might look weird from the outside, a man getting home after 16 hours of duty and watching his family sleep one by one but he’s so used to it he doesn’t question it anymore. If he gets home at night, he’d check on his sleeping babies and then he’d undress and get to bed next to his calm.
She’s wearing one of his t-shirts and has her hands under her chin and looks like a little spoon even if the space behind her as remained unoccupied when she fell asleep. He smiles because that’s his spot and he feels his heart fluttering before he finally feels the soft mattress under his heavy lengs and he rests his head on the pillow, inhaling her scent through her soft natural hair and he gently places a hand on her waist, not wanting to disturb her, but in a second her hand find his and she takes them to her chest so he’s fully holding her. He smiles behind her, he’s not sure whether she’s awake or not, so he just presses a kiss against her cotton covered shoulder and let sleep take over him.
He doesn’t know how long he’s been asleep for when he hears his youngest whimpering from her nursery but Blue’s already not in bed. Her spot is still warm though. He sinks his head on the pillow and stares at the ceiling only illuminated by the white moonlight coming in through the window and he waits for some minutes but when she doesn’t settle, he gets up and makes his way down the hall and towards his daughter’s nursery.
His wife is holding her and she’s rocking her and whispering sweet nothings but the little one doesn’t stop crying so he notices, his wife is crying too.
“Come on, lovie.” Her voice croaks. “I don’t know what you want...”
Her hand cups her daughter’s cheek as she rocks and shushes her but she wonders why does it seem so hard for them to get along. She’s raised two boys already and even though they were indeed allergic to sleep at some points, she always calmed them down... With Ana though, she doesn’t seem to get it.
“I don’t know what you want...” She repeats. “You’re not sick.” She whispers.
Harry places a hand on her shoulder and she flinches scared.
“Sorry” He whispers.
She gives him a small smile and shakes her head. He won’t say he likes seeing her crying because he doesn’t, he hates it, but he likes that she’s not afraid to do that in front of him. His hand caress her shoulder warmly and she rests her head on his chest as she keeps rocking the fussy little one.
“I’m sorry we woke you.” She whispers. “I just... I can’t settle her, Harry.” She cries too. “I don’t know what she needs, I... It took me forever to put her down last night and now...”
Her husband shushes her. He presses a kiss on her forehead and takes the baby from her and her cries become louder so he tells his wife to go back to bed. She needs to get out of there, she needs to stop watching her baby cry like that because it breaks her heart; it breaks her heart to think she might be in pain or hungry or scared and she can’t help her. Her baby girl doesn’t seem to find calmness on the arms of her own mother so she can’t help but feel like a failure.
She makes her way inside the bathroom and she washes her desperate tears off with warm water before she has a look at herself in the mirror. She looks exhausted and she hasn’t played as much as she’d like with her boys today. She sent Hughie into the playroom earlier, right after dinner, because she just wanted to have a second of quiet and she feels terrible for that. She didn’t really listened to Dylan talking about that book he’s reading either, she pretended she did, but really she was thinking about the groceries she needed to get the following day; and God, she wished she would have listened to him.
She wishes she was better. She knows they deserver better. All of them. The boys, the baby and her husband. She turns to the side so she can have a look at herself in the mirror. She hasn’t worked out in months and her belly hasn’t looked flat in more than a year and her hair is frizzy and her skin is dry and she has the darkest dark eyes she has ever even seen; and she’s a doctor, so that’s saying a lot.
Tomorrow will be another day and she can plan everything again and she can have a schedule. She thinks Harry’s day off is tomorrow too so maybe he can take the children to Gemma’s and she can sign up at the gym or she can wake up at five, yeah, and have a run before the day starts. She doesn’t need time to read either, she probably spends too much time reading anyway, and instead she can actually play with her kids. She feels like she never really plays with them.
She’s tiptoing along the thin line between sleep and reality when the door of their room half-shuts and her husband silently walks in. She doesn’t remember exactly when baby Ana had settled, but she knows it was him who calmed her down. She’s embarrassed but her hazel eyes meet his green ones and he’s giving her a warm smile despite the evident tiresome on his eyes. He’s been at the hospital working for more than 12 hours and she gets home to this...
He leans closer to her and she wonders how he even has the will to do such a thing when she’s disguting and probably smells of milk, for her breasts still leak sometimes, and is the farthest thing from appealing she can think of. But he stills leans in and captures her dry lips with his on an innocent peck. He looks so good, he’s always had, and that two-days stubble look so good and she wants to cry again.
“Go back to sleep, m’love.” He whispers. “Baby’s asleep too.”
Her heart draws in. He put her down, she can’t even manage to calm her down.
“Do you think I’m a bad mum?”
Her hazel eyes bore into his and his heart breaks when he realizes she’s seriously waiting for an answer. So she really doesn’t know? She really thinks he might think that?
“What are you talking about?” He frowns. “Where’s this coming from?”
She turns her body so she’s facing the ceiling instead and her back is resting against the mattress.
“Hughie said he liked daddy’s porridge better this morning” she starts “and I didn’t even know what he meant. I thought we did it the exact same way... And then Dylan was so excited telling me about his book and I didn’t pay attention to him” she sobs “and baby Ana, I think she just doesn’t like me.” She shrugs.
“You’re her Mum.” Harry whispers. “Of course she likes you. She shushes faster with me because she can’t smell the milk but she wouldn’t go a day without you, I know that.” His fingers gather his wife’s tears as he keeps talking. “And Hughie just meant cinnamon because the other day we ran out of honey so I added cinnamon instead and he loved it. I must have forgotten to mentioned it to you. And about Dylan... Dylan tells you every little thing that comes to his mind, it’s normal that sometimes you disconnect, baby.” He chuckles and despite her tears she chuckles along.
“He’s a very smart boy.” She says. “He thinks a lot and he’s pretty imaginative.”
“I wonder who he got that from...” He jokes and she smiles at him.
“I’m sorry.” She confesses. “I’m sorry that you get home to a wife who looks like she doesn’t know where the mirror is and who can’t manage to calm her own freaking baby and who... doesn’t even let you sleep at night with her senseless drama.” She rolls her eyes.
“Hey” his fingers gently grip her chin and he makes her look into his eyes “I love you” he reassures her “like crazy and every hour I’m just counting how much longer until I get to be with you, okay? So don’t think that. Please. I love you, Blue and I’m so fucking glad and lucky for having you and the family we’ve made together. I wouldn’t change a thing.”
“Not even my muffin top?” She pinches her belly and he chuckles.
“Not even. I think your body is perfect.”
“No, you don’t.” She laughs. “I’m chubby.”
He rolls his eyes before he hovers her and pins her against the mattress. His lips smash against hers in an almost teenage way and she feels that same fire on the pit of her stomach, much like she did fourteen years ago and he feels like a hormoned boy, despite his forty-one years of life and he thinks he’ll always feel vulnerable and desperate for her.
“I thought we were past this, love.” He whispers against her lips. “You’re the sexiest woman on Earth.”
His hand moves down to her ass and he squeezes her flesh making her smile.
“And you say you never lie.”
“That’s right.” He kisses her again. “I don’t.”
“I love you.” She says against her lips.
“I love you too.”
He aligns his hips with hers. His right hand supports his weight on the mattress next to her head while the other squeezes her flesh on her ass and hips. He’s never been able to understand why or how she could ever get insecure and during their time together, it’s true she’s gotten a lot better, but she has still sometimes been insecure about her body and he’s hated every time.
But they understand each other; they’ve had for years and he’s never stopped wanting to be close to her. Ever. His hand moves down to her belly and he slips his fingers under the hem of her sweatpants and her knickers, feeling how wet she is on his fingertips.
“Mhm, baby” He hums against her lips.
“Yeah, embarrasingly wet, I know” she giggles “you’re so hot, H, there’s nothing I can do.”
He laughs against her mouth. Is that what she really thinks? Well, he attracts female’s attention, he’s not an idiot, he notices that; but he’s getting some grey hairs now too and she’s still six years younger, like she’s always been, and she really is the most beautiful woman he knows. He’s seen his coworkers staring at her and her own students whispering about it when she gets a male one in practice. But somehow, she sleeps in his bed every night and she could leave but she doesn’t so she must feel the same way.
His fingers thrust inside her and she arches her back and moans. He keeps kissing her and is amazed at how in these moments, it feels like time haven’t passed. She’s the same Blue and he’s the same Harry but they’ve moved in together, they’ve gotten married, they’ve done surgeries together, they’ve had three kids, they’ve bought a house, he’s been sick and she’s taken care of him; she’s been sick and he’s taken care of her; and he wouldn’t change her or anything they have together for anything in the world.
It’s in these moments too, when Blue doesn’t feel like she has to be better or like she’s not doing enough; she is enough. She’s more than that. She’s what he wants and she’s what she wants too and everything is fine. She’s lucky, she’s so damn lucky for the family she has and for the husband she married and for everything else.
His fingers speed up and she sinks her head on the pillow so his mouth attacks her neck and she moans louder.
“Baby, we’re gonna wake Anie up.”
“Then be quiet.” He whispers on her ear.
She giggles at that and his teeth skim her skin as he grins but his fingers keep moving in and out of her and he’s touching just that place she loves and she needs him so bad. She loves him and she wants him and she so desperately wants to feel him stretching her like every other time he’s had her before.
“Baby” she moans “if we wake her up...”
“We won’t.” He whispers.
“It’s so hard to put her down...”
“Yeah, I know, it really is hard to put this down.”
She giggles again and he chuckles at his own joke but his fingers keep bringing her to the edge and her nipples are getting harder as she bites her bottom lip.
“Do you want me to stop?” He smirks, already knowing the answer.
“No” She gasps “but you should.”
“There’s something down here that doesn’t agree.”
He chuckles as her walls start throbbing around his fingers and her back arches as she feels her mind leaving her body and strong waves pushing all her stress out of her too.
Harry smiles and rests his forehead against hers.
“Better?”
She nods.
“Is there anything else I can do for you?”
She nods again and her hands cup his jaw as she kisses him deeply. He’s a sucker for these kisses, when her tongue pushes inside his mouth and she lets him know how much he means to her.
“But we might wake Anie up...” He grins.
“Oh, shut up and fuck me.”
He laughs.
He takes her sweatpants and knickers off and she does the same with his white boxers. His hard lenght springs free and hits her wetness and he circles his hips so she can feel him adding pressure on her. His hands grip her waist and she knows he’s seconds away from thrusting inside her so she takes a deep breath and gets ready to take him and like that his manhood slips inside her inch by inch and she throws her head back and sighs.
He pushes in and out of her slowly and her hands stick to his shoulders and his biceps as she pulls him closer. Her soft fingers tangle on his hair and she pulls from it so his mouth covers hers and he bites on her full bottom lip.
“Is this what you wanted?” He whispers and despite the years, he sounds so sexy to her, he always does when he wants to.
“Yes.” She gasps. “But I want more.”
She feels him smiling against her mouth and supporting his weight on her waist, he threads her onto him again harder and faster and her head spins until she’s afraid it might turn molten. She feels her own bowels bouncing inside her and the screams get stuck on her throat as he keeps pushing in and pulling out of her.
“Don’t stop, Harry, don’t stop.”
“Fuck.”
Her low moans mix with his grunts and her hands travel across his skin, almost marking him when he hits the right spot and his hands hold her waist as he pushes inside her. He only feels like this when he’s fucking her and that’s why he’s addicted to her because this is the best feeling in the world, when his heart flutters and he can feel his pulse on his temples and his skin is covered in sweat and goosebumps and he can feel the urge to cum on his spine. He loves her. He loves this woman with everything he has and everything he doesn’t.
“That’s it, love.” She whispers on his earshell. “Fuck me, I needed this so bad. I fucking love you, H.”
“Fuck” he grunts “I love you.”
She holds his shoulders close to her chest and they gasp into each other’s mouths as he keeps pounding inside her. She can feel the weight of overwhelming pleasure falling over her and she can think of nothing other than him and the way he sounds and the way he smells and how he’s touching her inside. Her legs tremble around his hips.
“Come on, baby” He whispers “Cum for me.”
He’s close. He’s so fucking close, he’s not sure he can hold it in anymore. Yet he wants to feel her. He knows she needs this but he needs her just as much.
“Cum with me, baby.”
She does and she feels his hot, sticky cum filling her and a wide smile draws on her face and she sinks her head on the pillow but he pulls from her chin so he can kiss her and he does it deeply and slowly and she can feel it, how much he loves her, and she just loves him back.
They don’t say anything else until they fall asleep tangled up on one another.
The four of them are awake when she wakes up and as she makes her way to the kitchen, she can’t help the little smirk on her face. Harry made sure she could sleep in and that alone warms her heart so walking inside the kitchen and finding her little smurfs sitting on the table helping their daddy make breakfast drives her crazy from love.
Baby Anie jumps on Harry’s hip and stretches her arms out for her and she feels her heart about to explode with love for the little angel. It seems like they’re back to being friends. Harry gives the baby a look before his eyes meet with hers. They smile, sharing the secret of what happened hours ago in their bed, and she mouths a silent thank you and he mouths back love you.
She takes the baby from his hip and pecks his lips swiftly and her boys look up from the pancakes and smile at her.
“Morning, mummy!” Dylan hugs her waist and her fingers caress his dark straight hair as she hugs him close.
“Morning, dear. Morning, Hughie.”
“Morning, mummy!” Hughie grins. “We made pancakes!”
“Yeah, they smell awesome! Thank you, boys!”
“And read, read what we wrote on them!” Dylan cheers.
“Dy wrote it!” Hughie explains with evident proud on his voice and she smiles down at him.
On the pancakes, on wobbly Nutella 5-years-old boy’s handwriting, can be read “Best mummy ever” and a heart and her eyes get teary because she hasn’t been feeling that lately. She gives Harry a look as if saying don’t do this to me in front of the kids but he just grins and shrugs as if he hadn’t orchestrate the whole thing.
“I drawed the heart!” Hughie catches her attention and she smiles at him.
“It’s drew, Hugh” Dylan corrects him “you drew the heart.”
“Yes, I did.” He smiles. “Chopsy mixed the flour.”
He had come up with that nickname for his baby sister on his own and his mum had grown to love it, sometimes calling her Chopsy herself.
“You did such a great job, my lovely.” Her voice almost croaks.
And Dylan, being the oldest of them three, even if he was just five years old, tilted his neck up so he can look into his mum’s eyes. She gives him a smile but he can somehow see it, even if he doesn’t fully understands, he kind of knows so his small hand rests on top of hers.
“You really are.” He whispers. “The best mummy ever.”
Her lip trembles and she has to chuckle so she doesn’t freak the little boy out when she wipes her tears away.
“Thank you, baby.” She kisses his cheeks and his little arm wraps around her shoulder.
Baby Anie’s hand gently slaps her brother and he shuts his eyes when their mum starts laughing.
“I love you.”
Blue kisses her boys’ foreheads and they both start eating while she sets Anie on her high chair. Her husband is moving around the kitchen, setting his and his wife’s forks and their cups of coffee, when she presses her hands on his chest and stops him.
“And you too.” She smiles. “I love you so much.”

someone like you - trevor zegras
chapter two wc: 4341
“so, i see you met trevor, huh?” your mom asks, giving you a side eye and a smile as you prepare dinner for the night. you shrug with a smile, continuing to mind your own business as you pare the potatoes. “so? what did you think? cute, right?”
“mom!” you groan, but nevertheless there’s a grin adorning your face. “yes, trevor is attractive. but it’s like the kids like him more than they like me. and i get it, i really do. he gets to spend every day of the summer with them, and he’s done this since i’ve been gone. he’s been here all of addie’s life-”
your mother raises her eyebrows at you, “is someone jealous?” she asks, and your mouth drops open.
“i am not jealous!” you proclaim, eyes wide as you let your hands fall down onto the marble countertop. your mother begins to laugh at you, and you can’t help but give her a glare.
“yes, y/n, you are. and that’s not a bad thing. you know you can come home whenever you want, we made that clear when everything started to take off. you don’t have the relationships with your siblings that you wished you had.”
you keep your eyes trained down on the cutting board in front of you, refusing to look at the assertive look you were sure your mother had because she knew she was right. both of you knew she was right. “it’s just difficult,” you mumble, setting the perfectly peeled potato next to you for your mother to take to cut up. “i have my next two years completely planned out for me. even if i come home for a weekend i have to cancel something, or reschedule, and that’ll mess up so many other things. it’s a domino effect and i can’t control it.”
your mother takes a deep breath, “sweetheart. we’ve been worried about you since the incident. you need to tell us when it gets too much. and right now, it’s getting to be too much.”
“and it’s not gonna happen again, okay? i promise, mom. i’m okay now. perfectly okay. i haven’t felt this great in so long, and i know by august i’m gonna be itching to go back to la and be in the studio.”
your mother simply nods and resumes what she had been doing previously. eventually, the two of you finish preparing dinner and eat with your family, where there’s a lot of small talk and getting to go over everyone’s day.
“so, when does trevor get here in the mornings?” you ask casually while shoveling a forkful of mashed potatoes into your mouth. your mother gives you a look.
“why do you care, honey?” your mother asks, and by the way she goes to take a sip of her water you can tell she’s trying not to smile.
you shrug your shoulders. “just curious, that’s all,” you mumble.
“mostly around six or seven in the morning, he leaves whenever we get home, sometimes he’ll stay for dinner and such. he’s a sweet kid, isn’t he?”
“yeah, he’s really nice,” you admit somewhat sheepishly, and you try to hide your smile. once dinner is finished, you help your mom put away all of the dishes before going up into the comfort of your room.
---------------
your phone wouldn’t stop ringing. it’s like you were back in california again with the endless phone calls, and by what felt like the millionth minute of it ringing, you had no choice but to answer.
“hello?” you ask, voice groggy as you wipe the sleep away from your eyes. you turn your head to look at your clock, it reading 9:03 am.
“morning sweetheart!” you have to pull your phone away from your ear at the cheery voice of your mother. “did i wake you up?”
you chuckle, sitting up in your bed. “yeah, but it’s okay mama. what did you need? everything okay?”
“perfect, honey. can you just run downstairs and see if trevor is here? he hasn’t answered my text and i just want to make sure everything is okay.” you begin to hear talking on the other side of the phone and a sigh from your mother. “ i gotta go, sweetheart, but just text me okay?”
“got it, mama. i love you.”
a few seconds later your phone beeps to let you know that she had hung up. you push yourself out of your bed, throwing your hair up in a quick ponytail to try and contain some of the bed head. you highly doubted trevor would want to see that this early in the morning. you shove your phone in your pocket and head downstairs and when you get to the landing, your heart almost melts.
laying on the couch is trevor, along with addie on top of his chest. she’s got one hand clutched around her blanky and the other has a fistful of trevor’s shirt. and you can’t forget about her stuffed pua toy that was basically sitting on trevor’s shoulder. you catch yourself staring, and instead of texting your mom a message you snap a photo of the two and send it to her.
“y/n?” you hear dylan’s small voice. you turn your head to look up at the top of the stairs where he’s standing. you put your finger to your lips and gesture towards trevor and addie, and surprisingly enough dylan carefully walks down the steps. “can you make breakfast? trevor normally does. but he’s a little preoccupied i guess.” he grumbles, going to sit at one of the bar stools at the island.
“sure thing, dyl. what do you want?” you ask, standing at the other side of the island.
“chocolate chip pancakes.”
you grin, immediately remembering all the times your dad would make you and dylan pancakes. he tried to say they were for special occasions - for the first day of school, or christmas morning, birthdays - but he ended up making them whenever the two of you requested them. “coming right up, buddy. i’m sure they won’t be as good as daddy’s were, but i can try okay?”
for a second, you swear your see dylan smile while you turn to grab a bowl from the cabinet. there, you see a note on the counter top.
Hi Trevor -
Addie didn’t sleep well at all last night. She was extremely fussy and would not go down for the life of her, so if she’s crabby that’s why. Feel free to put her down whenever you want if you even get the chance.
Thanks honey!
Y/m/n
the first thing he must’ve done was probably go to see addie then, because if it wasn’t obvious enough those two were two peas in a pod. and if addie would sleep for anyone it would be trevor.
“what does that say?” dylan asks, and suddenly he’s behind you trying to peer over your shoulder.
“just that addie couldn’t sleep last night. that’s why trev has her down with him right now. anyway, wanna help me dyl? seeing as you can’t play video games in the living room?” you ask and dylan nods his head. “great. can you grab me the pancake mix and chocolate chips?”
dylan nods, turning away from you to go into the pantry. you grab a whisk and the bowl setting them on the island before you grab the griddle. dylan grabs the half cup measuring cup you needed along with the butter.
“okay kid,” you say, opening the box and handing it to dylan. “you can get us started.” dylan has a grin on his face as he puts a few cups of the mix into the bowl. while dylan puts the mixture together, you go to turn the griddle on the stove top on.
“lots of chocolate chips, right?” dylan looks over his shoulder at you as you walk back to the island.
“dylan y/l/n, who do you think i am? of course i want a lot of chocolate chips,” you tease, your hand on your hip as you look at your little brother.
a mischievous smile crosses dylan’s face, and he holds eye contact with you as he nearly dumps the entire bag of chocolate chips into the mixture. “whoops.”
“you little bugger,” you laugh, looking into the bowl to see that, yeah, he pretty much dumped the whole bag in. “what am i gonna do with you, dylan.” you sigh, grabbing the whisk to start to mix everything together.
dylan laughs, hoisting himself up on the island counter watching you as you mix it all together. eventually, you’re ready to start actually making the pancakes. you pour the batter and dylan flips and sets the golden pancakes onto a plate.
“it smells amazing in here.” you hear the raspy voice of trevor. you eyes widen and you turn around to face him, where trev has addie still in his arms with her head resting in his neck.
“we didn’t wake you up, did you?”
trevor shakes his head, “nope, i woke up on my own. but this one? she’s out like a light.” you smile, looking at addie who’s asleep with her blanky clutched in her hand over trevor’s back.
“she was crying all night,” dylan grumbles, glaring up at trevor as if it’s his fault. “i thought she’d never stop.”
“well she stopped now dyl, so be grateful.” you say.
trevor smiles, sitting at the bar stool at the island. “you might be taking my job as chef, y/n/n,” he smiles goofily, making you shake your head with a smile.
“don’t think you’re getting off the hook that easy, trevor. i may help, but pancakes are the only thing i can make so do not be fooled.” you point the spoon that has all the batter on it making trevor chuckle.
“got it, y/n/n. that just means i have to teach you then, doesn’t it?”
you sigh, “what ever you say, trevor. whatever you say.”
eventually, you go up to wake up mia for her to come eat with the rest of you. while you’re gone, trevor sets the table for the five of you and he’s got addie awake and dylan is already chowing down. addie is sat groggily in her high chair, however she’s  waiting patiently as trevor cuts up half a pancake into even smaller pieces.
“you know, i’m surprised you’re even gonna eat pancakes with chocolate chips considering you won’t eat ice cream unless you’re forced,” you tease the blonde boy, and he begins to shake his head with a smile.
“well, i can’t resist can i, y/n/n? now sit down, we’ve been waiting for you.”
you do as trevor says, sitting at the open seat on the other side of trevor - because of course addie was sitting on one side of him. all of you fall into a comfortable silence, an occasional, “trevy!” coming from addie when he stops feeding her to take a bite of his own food.
it only takes a few minutes for the five of you to finish eating, and once you are trevor takes your plate. “trev, i can take it back myself.” you laugh and he shakes his head. “trevor, seriously i can.”
“nope, i have working arms and legs. i think i’ll use them.” he shoots you a boyish smile walking over to put all of the used dishes into the dishwasher. you let out a sigh, and look across the table to your little brother that’s starting to get up from the table.
“and where do you think you’re going?” you ask, raising an eyebrow. dylan slowly turns around, his eyebrows furrowing.
“into the living room to play video games, where does it look like i’m going?”
and just like that, the good day with dylan is over.
you sigh, your fingers going up to pinch the bridge of your nose. “dyl, can i talk to you outside for a second? really quickly, bub.”
dylan stays planted in his spot for a solid few seconds before trevor speaks up from the dishwasher. “c’mon, dyl. the faster you go talk to your sister the faster we get to go to the beach like i promised you.”
dylan grimaces but even so he storms over to the sliding glass door. he stomps out and you give trevor a quick look before following him out. you close the door behind you, sitting next to dylan on the steps that lead to the pathway towards the beach. “you know, at least trevor keeps his promises,” dylan scowls, his gaze fixated on the ocean only thirty feet away.
your eyebrows furrow, “what do you mean, dylan?” you laugh nervously, and you go to put your hand on dylan’s shoulder just for him to shrug you off.
“no matter what trevor always keeps his promises,” dylan mumbles, finally glancing over in your direction. “you promised, y/n. you promised me you wouldn’t leave. you promised me you wouldn’t leave like dad did.”
instantly, you feel your heart drop in your chest. “dylan, you know dad had no choice, right? he had no choice in leaving us and you know that you know that if he had a choice he’d be with us right now, we’d be going to eat ice cream or going to the beach.”
“well you promised me. and you had a choice, y/n. but you chose the red carpets, and the fancy dresses, and all of the fame over us. over your family. you left me here to suffer without dad, even though you promised me you’d never do that.”
“dylan-”
he cuts you off, “but it’s okay, though. because you’re a billboard top artist, an ama award winner, you have three grammy’s. news flash, y/n. my birthday is more important than the grammy’s.”
and with that, dylan stands up and just as he stormed outside, he storms inside, not forgetting to slam the door as hard as he can. a few seconds later, you hear the door open again but it closes gently, prompting you to look over your shoulder at who walked out. of course, it’s trevor.
“everything okay y/n/n?” trevor asks, offering his hand to help you up. you take it and carefully rise to your feet.
“um,” you mumble. “no, it’s not. but it’s gonna be, okay? i think you should just take them to the beach without me. i think you’re better off that way, trev.”
trevor gives you a look, “absolutely not, y/n. i want you there and believe it or not, dylan does too. along with mia and addie, even if she isn’t completely warmed up to you yet. please, y/n. we’re gonna have a good day.”
you sigh, giving in to trevor. “okay, just give me a few minutes to get ready and i’ll be down in a few, okay? i’ll meet you in the living room.”
trevor nods and the two of you go back inside. while you assume trevor is going to get all the beach stuff ready, you go up to your bedroom. you rummage through your drawers to change into your bikini, throwing a pair of shorts on and not bothering to throw on a t-shirt, seeing as you were only going to go into your backyard. you grab your sunglasses and place them on your head before going downstairs.
in the short time you were gone trevor already packed everything you guys would need - even if it was only a short walk to run back and grab something. addie sat on the kitchen island, already in her little bathing suit, and trevor was bent over putting bottles of water into a small cooler, also in his swim trunks.
“so did we all intend on matching, or?” you ask, a smile on your face as trevor turns around to face you. once he sees the color of your bikini, he looks down at himself and then over at addie who’s mindlessly playing with her hands. trevor’s face flushes a light pink color.
“completely unintentional.” he chuckles, closing the lid of the cooler. “dylan and mia are both ready, they already ran outside.” trevor says as he picks up the cooler in one hand, going to walk over towards addie.
“trev your hands are already full enough, i can carry her.” you say, stepping next to him and going to pick up your little sister, who scoots back on the island giving you a dirty look.
“i walk.” addie grumbles, her arms crossing over her chest. “big girl now.”
trevor lets out a sigh, wrapping one arm around her so he can put her down on the ground. addie begins to waddle over to the door, hitting the glass with her fists to get dylan to open the door for her.
“trev, i can carry something,” you say, looking over your shoulder at the shirtless blond. trevor immediately shakes his head.
“absolutely not. we’ve done this plenty of times before, y/n.” you know it isn’t supposed to hurt you, but it does. you can’t help the stinging feeling in your heart, and you nod subtly before pulling the door open allowing addie to walk through.
mia is carrying a bag of what you assume has sunscreen in it and dylan has a handful of towels. once dylan sees you and trevor are outside, he starts to walk down the pathway that leads to your portion of the beach. addie is holding trevor’s free hand as the three of you follow closely behind your other two siblings. your sunglasses covered eyes fall onto trevor, who also has his sunglasses on, as he stares at dylan and mia with a soft smile. you can’t help but smile, either.
“alright, where do we wanna sit?” trevor asks, but dylan keeps walking until he’s satisfied, standing in his place turning around. “right there?”
“right here.” dylan approves, starting to lay out the five towels. “just saying, this extra towel was really heavy, and in my opinion, unnecessary.”
“dylan.” in the day you had known him, you hadn’t heard trevor’s voice so firm with one of the kids. “you know i don’t like getting stern with you guys, but if you keep this up you’re going back to the house, got it?”
“okay,” dylan mumbles, continuing to lay the towels down on the sand. “i’m going in the water.”
“not before sunscreen you’re not.” you say, and of course that earns a glare from your younger brother. dylan plops down on one of the towels and you grab the spray can of sunscreen and toss it to him.
trevor grabs the cream sunscreen and starts to apply it on addie, and immediately she starts giggling and jumping up and down. “cold!” she shrieks but nonetheless she’s still giggling. once she knows trevor is done, she plops down onto the towel and leans into trevor’s thigh.
dylan sprints off towards the water as soon as he’s finished spraying himself. “okay mi, your turn.” you say to the little blonde and she smiles before standing in front of you, letting you cover her in sunscreen. one you’re finished with her, you start on yourself.
“y/n, i’m really sorry about dylan,” trevor says, finally getting around to putting sunscreen on his own tan body. “i really don’t understand why he’s being like this.”
you sigh, leaning back on your hands on the towel next to him. “but i do, trev. and i get it. it’s gonna take some time and it isn’t gonna be pretty, but hopefully i’ll make it up to him before the end of the summer.”
“i believe you. i just hate that he’s treating you like this, he was nothing but an angel for me.”
you scoff, “dylan? an angel? now that’s hard to believe, sorry trevor.” trevor shakes his head with a smile. “i told you it would be easier if you just went without me.”
“but i wasn’t gonna do that. i promised your parents i’d give you a stress free summer, and i keep my promises, y/n/n. even if dylan is being a little prick we’re still gonna do everything with you, you got that?”
you let out a defeated, yet exaggerated sigh and smile. “got it, trevor. and thank you, really. it means a lot.”
trevor sends you a boyish smile. “you got it. you gonna go in the water with us or what?”
“i think i’m gonna sit up here for a bit and work on my tan, let dylan cool off a bit. i’ll be down soon though, okay?” you say and trevor nods. he gets up, along with your two half sisters, and walks with them down to the water.
mia eventually lets go of trevor’s hand and runs towards where dylan is diving into the waves. trevor keeps walking with addie, but as soon as a wave crashes onto her feet you can hear her squeal and jump back. with that, trevor leans down and puts her right onto his shoulders. you don’t hesitate to take a picture at the two only fifteen feet in front of you.
“y/n!” you hear a familiar voice from afar, and you turn to your right to see a familiar blond boy. you smile as he runs over to you, nearly tackling you into a hug. “andie said you were here but i didn’t believe her.”
you smile, brushing away his hair from his forehead. “well, nice to see you too, noah.” you giggle and he smiles goofily up at you.
“i missed you, you know that y/n/n?” he smiles and finally sits up from when he had tackled you, facing you with his legs on either side of you.
“i missed you too, noah. i missed everyone, actually. all our shenanigans, you know?” you let your head tilt to the side, a sad smile on your face at the memories you had with all of your friends here during the summer.
“we were like, twelve, y/n/n. riding our bikes to the beach at midnight was not a shenanigan. but speaking of, what are you up to tonight then? we could do that. reminisce, you know?” you playfully roll your eyes at the boy in front of you. you look over his shoulder towards the water and see trevor staring at the two of you. but once he catches your gaze he’s turning back around with his back facing you.
“i dunno, noah. shenanigans aren’t at the top of my list at the moment, i’m here to relax and that’s it,” you say, your fingers playing with the fabric of the towel beneath you.
noah pouts, “oh come on, y/n/n. you’ve changed. the old y/n would be so down for that.”
“you mean twelve year old me, noah? yeah, i’m sure she would be. but seventeen year old y/n has eyes on her everywhere. one false move, noah, and it’s game over for me.”
noah lets out an exaggerated sigh. “everyone here loves you, though, you’re america’s sweetheart after all. no one would rat you out.”
“i can’t take those chances, buddy. i’m sorry,” you frown.
down in the water, trevor glances back from you and noah every few seconds back to the kids. “hey dyl,” trevor calls out, gaining the attention of the eleven year old. “who’s that with your sister?”
“why should you care? why would anyone care about what she’s doing, she only cares about herself anyway,” dylan rolls his eyes. “that’s noah. he’s cool, i guess. but he’s not you.”
trevor nods grimly, giving you and noah one last glance as noah finally gets up to walk away. trevor lets out a sigh he didn’t realize he was holding, and just as he does that addie tugs on his hair a little. “up.” she mumbles, pointing back towards the land and where everything was set up.
“we’re gonna go back up, are you two alright down here? and dyl, please keep an eye on mia.” dylan gives trevor a thumbs up and trevor starts back up towards the towels, where now you’re laid down, finally able to suntan.
even though your eyes are closed, you can feel as a shadow casts over your body. “back so soon?” you ask, raising your sunglasses and opening your eyes to see trevor setting addie down on the sand blanket.
“addie wanted to come up, and whatever princess wants, princess gets. isn’t that right, addie girl?” trevor smiles, making addie giggle up at him as she leans into his side.
“we make sandcastle?” she asks, head tilting to the side, looking from trevor to you. you look at trevor as he smiles.
“of course, addie girl. you wanna help, y/n?” you nod with a small smile, following addie and trevor only a few feet in front of where you already are. trevor sits down in the sand and addie plops down right between his legs, her tiny hands digging into the sand immediately. “so, i didn’t know you had a boyfriend,” trevor mumbles, glancing up at you as you start to form a mound of sand.
you nearly laugh out loud. “noah? he is not my boyfriend, trevor. far from it. he’s a pain in the ass more than anything. why, are you jealous?”
“i am not jealous!” trevor scoffs, his eyes rolling. “and i know who he is, he used to be one of my best friends,” he adds on, mumbling. “i was just curious, that’s all, y/n.”
you raise your eyebrows, giving trevor a look. “yep, i’m sure you were, trev.” you mumble, looking down at the sand with a smile at the thought of trevor being jealous of you and noah.
trev clears his throat. “anyway. a few of my friends and i are going out to dinner tonight, wanna come with?”
“i’d love to.”

someone like you - spencer knight
chapter two
wc: 4341
“so, i see you met spencer, huh?” your mom asks, giving you a side eye and a smile as you prepare dinner for the night. you shrug with a smile, continuing to mind your own business as you pare the potatoes. “so? what did you think? cute, right?”
“mom!” you groan, but nevertheless there’s a grin adorning your face. “yes, spencer is attractive. but it’s like the kids like him more than they like me. and i get it, i really do. he gets to spend every day of the summer with them, and he’s done this since i’ve been gone. he’s been here all of addie’s life-”
your mother raises her eyebrows at you, “is someone jealous?” she asks, and your mouth drops open.
“i have my next two years completely planned out for me. even if i come home for a weekend i have to cancel something, or reschedule, and that’ll mess up so many other things. it’s a domino effect and i can’t control it.”
your mother takes a deep breath, “sweetheart. we’ve been worried about you since the incident. you need to tell us when it gets too much. and right now, it’s getting to be too much.”

you do as spencer says, sitting at the open seat on the other side of spencer - because of course addie was sitting on one side of him. all of you fall into a comfortable silence, an occasional, “spencey!” coming from addie when he stops feeding her to take a bite of his own food.
it only takes a few minutes for the five of you to finish eating, and once you are spencer takes your plate. “spence, i can take it back myself.” you laugh and he shakes his head. “spencer, seriously i can.”
“dyl, can i talk to you outside for a second? really quickly, bub.”
dylan stays planted in his spot for a solid few seconds before spencer speaks up from the dishwasher. “c’mon, dyl. the faster you go talk to your sister the faster we get to go to the beach like i promised you.”
dylan grimaces but even so he storms over to the sliding glass door. he stomps out and you give spencer a quick look before following him out. you close the door behind you, sitting next to dylan on the steps that lead to the pathway towards the beach. “you know, at least spencer keeps his promises,” dylan scowls, his gaze fixated on the ocean only thirty feet away.
your eyebrows furrow, “what do you mean, dylan?” you laugh nervously, and you go to put your hand on dylan’s shoulder just for him to shrug you off.
“no matter what spencer always keeps his promises,” dylan mumbles, finally glancing over in your direction.
“dylan-”
he cuts you off, “but it’s okay, though. because you’re a billboard top artist, an ama award winner, you have three grammy’s. news flash, y/n. my birthday is more important than the grammy’s.”
and with that, dylan stands up and just as he stormed outside, he storms inside, not forgetting to slam the door as hard as he can. a few seconds later, you hear the door open again but it closes gently, prompting you to look over your shoulder at who walked out. of course, it’s spencer.
“everything okay y/n/n?” spencer asks, offering his hand to help you up. you take it and carefully rise to your feet.
“um,” you mumble. “no, it’s not. but it’s gonna be, okay? i think you should just take them to the beach without me. i think you’re better off that way, spence.”
spencer gives you a look, “absolutely not, y/n. i want you there and believe it or not, dylan does too. along with mia and addie, even if she isn’t completely warmed up to you yet. please, y/n. we’re gonna have a good day.”
you sigh, giving in to spencer. “okay, just give me a few minutes to get ready and i’ll be down in a few, okay? i’ll meet you in the living room.”
spencer nods and the two of you go back inside. while you assume spencer is going to get all the beach stuff ready, you go up to your bedroom. you rummage through your drawers to change into your bikini, throwing a pair of shorts on and not bothering to throw on a t-shirt, seeing as you were only going to go into your backyard. you grab your sunglasses and place them on your head before going downstairs.
in the short time you were gone spencer already packed everything you guys would need - even if it was only a short walk to run back and grab something. addie sat on the kitchen island, already in her little bathing suit, and spencer was bent over putting bottles of water into a small cooler, also in his swim trunks.
“so did we all intend on matching, or?” you ask, a smile on your face as spencer turns around to face you. once he sees the color of your bikini, he looks down at himself and then over at addie who’s mindlessly playing with her hands. spencer’s face flushes a light pink color.
“completely unintentional.” he chuckles, closing the lid of the cooler. “dylan and mia are both ready, they already ran outside.” spencer says as he picks up the cooler in one hand, going to walk over towards addie.
“spence your hands are already full enough, i can carry her.” you say, stepping next to him and going to pick up your little sister, who scoots back on the island giving you a dirty look.
“i walk.” addie grumbles, her arms crossing over her chest. “big girl now.”
spencer lets out a sigh, wrapping one arm around her so he can put her down on the ground. addie begins to waddle over to the door, hitting the glass with her fists to get dylan to open the door for her.
“spence, i can carry something,” you say, looking over your shoulder at the shirtless blond. spencer immediately shakes his head.
“absolutely not. we’ve done this plenty of times before, y/n.” you know it isn’t supposed to hurt you, but it does. you can’t help the stinging feeling in your heart, and you nod subtly before pulling the door open allowing addie to walk through.
mia is carrying a bag of what you assume has sunscreen in it and dylan has a handful of towels. once dylan sees you and spencer are outside, he starts to walk down the pathway that leads to your portion of the beach. addie is holding spencer’s free hand as the three of you follow closely behind your other two siblings. your sunglasses covered eyes fall onto spencer, who also has his sunglasses on, as he stares at dylan and mia with a soft smile. you can’t help but smile, either.
“alright, where do we wanna sit?” spencer asks, but dylan keeps walking until he’s satisfied, standing in his place turning around. “right there?”
“right here.” dylan approves, starting to lay out the five towels. “just saying, this extra towel was really heavy, and in my opinion, unnecessary.”
“dylan.” in the day you had known him, you hadn’t heard spencer’s voice so firm with one of the kids. “you know i don’t like getting stern with you guys, but if you keep this up you’re going back to the house, got it?”
“okay,” dylan mumbles, continuing to lay the towels down on the sand. “i’m going in the water.”
“not before sunscreen you’re not.” you say, and of course that earns a glare from your younger brother. dylan plops down on one of the towels and you grab the spray can of sunscreen and toss it to him.
spencer grabs the cream sunscreen and starts to apply it on addie, and immediately she starts giggling and jumping up and down. “cold!” she shrieks but nonetheless she’s still giggling. once she knows spencer is done, she plops down onto the towel and leans into spencer’s thigh.
dylan sprints off towards the water as soon as he’s finished spraying himself. “okay mi, your turn.” you say to the little blonde and she smiles before standing in front of you, letting you cover her in sunscreen. one you’re finished with her, you start on yourself.
“y/n, i’m really sorry about dylan,” spencer says, finally getting around to putting sunscreen on his own tan body. “i really don’t understand why he’s being like this.”
you sigh, leaning back on your hands on the towel next to him. “but i do, spence. and i get it. it’s gonna take some time and it isn’t gonna be pretty, but hopefully i’ll make it up to him before the end of the summer.”
“i believe you. i just hate that he’s treating you like this, he was nothing but an angel for me.”
you scoff, “dylan? an angel? now that’s hard to believe, sorry spencer.” spencer shakes his head with a smile.
“got it, spencer. and thank you, really. it means a lot.”
spencer sends you a boyish smile. “you got it. you gonna go in the water with us or what?”
“i think i’m gonna sit up here for a bit and work on my tan, let dylan cool off a bit. i’ll be down soon though, okay?” you say and spencer nods. he gets up, along with your two half sisters, and walks with them down to the water.
mia eventually lets go of spencer’s hand and runs towards where dylan is diving into the waves. spencer keeps walking with addie, but as soon as a wave crashes onto her feet you can hear her squeal and jump back. with that, spencer leans down and puts her right onto his shoulders. you don’t hesitate to take a picture at the two only fifteen feet in front of you.
“we were like, twelve, y/n/n. riding our bikes to the beach at midnight was not a shenanigan. but speaking of, what are you up to tonight then? we could do that. reminisce, you know?” you playfully roll your eyes at the boy in front of you. you look over his shoulder towards the water and see spencer staring at the two of you. but once he catches your gaze he’s turning back around with his back facing you.
“i can’t take those chances, buddy. i’m sorry,” you frown.
down in the water, spencer glances back from you and noah every few seconds back to the kids. “hey dyl,” spencer calls out, gaining the attention of the eleven year old. “who’s that with your sister?”
“why should you care? why would anyone care about what she’s doing, she only cares about herself anyway,” dylan rolls his eyes. “that’s noah. he’s cool, i guess. but he’s not you.”
spencer nods grimly, giving you and noah one last glance as noah finally gets up to walk away. spencer lets out a sigh he didn’t realize he was holding, and just as he does that addie tugs on his hair a little. “up.” she mumbles, pointing back towards the land and where everything was set up.
“we’re gonna go back up, are you two alright down here? and dyl, please keep an eye on mia.” dylan gives spencer a thumbs up and spencer starts back up towards the towels, where now you’re laid down, finally able to suntan.
even though your eyes are closed, you can feel as a shadow casts over your body. “back so soon?” you ask, raising your sunglasses and opening your eyes to see spencer setting addie down on the sand blanket.
“addie wanted to come up, and whatever princess wants, princess gets. isn’t that right, addie girl?” spencer smiles, making addie giggle up at him as she leans into his side.
“we make sandcastle?” she asks, head tilting to the side, looking from spencer to you. you look at spencer as he smiles.
“of course, addie girl. you wanna help, y/n?” you nod with a small smile, following addie and spencer only a few feet in front of where you already are. spencer sits down in the sand and addie plops down right between his legs, her tiny hands digging into the sand immediately. “so, i didn’t know you had a boyfriend,” spencer mumbles, glancing up at you as you start to form a mound of sand.
you nearly laugh out loud. “noah? he is not my boyfriend, spencer. far from it. he’s a pain in the ass more than anything. why, are you jealous?”
“i am not jealous!” spencer scoffs, his eyes rolling. “and i know who he is, he used to be one of my best friends,” he adds on, mumbling. “i was just curious, that’s all, y/n.”
you raise your eyebrows, giving spencer a look. “yep, i’m sure you were, spence.” you mumble, looking down at the sand with a smile at the thought of spencer being jealous of you and noah.
spence clears his throat. “anyway. a few of my friends and i are going out to dinner tonight, wanna come with?”
“i’d love to.”

i take this magnetic force of a man to be mine.
TAGGING: Lili, Cole @hqcolem
LOCATION: Raleigh, NC.
TIMEFRAME: January 4th, 2020. Mid afternoon.
NOTES: My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been bruised, all’s well that ends well to end up with you.
Lili Dressed in the wedding gown she had painstakingly detailed out with the designer months ago, Lili almost couldn't believe her eyes. The day was finally here. She was getting married and she felt (and looked) like a princess. The bridesmaids and Austyn were a flurry of activity around her but they were almost background noise to Lili as she truly soaked in this moment. In just a hour, she'd be walking down the aisle to marry Cole. It was a dream come true. She bit her lip as she smiled at her reflection and then was torn away when she heard the familiar cry of her one month old. "Uh oh," she sighed. She had hoped Charlie would be asleep throughout the wedding so she wouldn't be too fussy but it looked like the girl had risen from her nap early. "What's the matter, baby?" Lili cooed, ignoring Amy's warnings of Charlie messing up Lili's dress. Charlie wouldn't do that to her, she knew how..important it..was. Sighing, Lili looked down to see spit up and a smiling Charlie laying against the decorative lace of her gown. Great.
Cole: was mostly ready save for his blazer and he straightened his tie for a second before being satisfied that it was ready. The venue was set up with the lights and flowers just like they wanted and Cole was busy trying to make sure everything was perfect for when Lili would arrive so it could all go off without a hitch. Having jobs and things to do was nicer than just waiting around and he was pretty sure his hair stylist would kill him if he played with his hair anymore. Cole could barely believe that in just a few short hours that he and Lili would be Husband and Wife. It felt both like this day had taken a long time to get here and also had come almost too quickly. Cole was confident everything was ready so he didn't have a whole lot to worry about. Taking one of his multitude of cameras from his backpack set up in a corner, Cole slipped on his blazer and his made his way out to the garden to fill some of the last of his time with photography.
Lili was trying not to panic but she hadn't exactly planned a backup dress. Why hadn't she planned for a backup dress? She wasn't going to go down the aisle with baby throwup all over her and the smell was beginning to waft through the room. "Oh no," she moaned and exchanged wide eyed looks with Austyn. Amy, for her credit, was keeping back her "I told you so" and was trying to calm down Lili as she sank into a chair. Luckily, the two women could keep their cool better than Lili today. When Austyn suggested she wear the gown that was meant for the reception, Lili had no choice but to agree. It may not have been her first choice but she had to roll with the punches today. Handing Charlie over to Madelaine, Lili got dressed in the slimmer fit dress and smoothed it out. She loved her daughter but she was staying far away from her until at least pictures were done.
Cole: Once Cole had finished with his photography, he made his way back inside and sank down into a chair. There wasn't a whole lot left to do until the ceremony started in just under fourty minutes and he was planning on spending it by just relaxing and doing any last minute jobs. Pulling his phone out of his blazer pocket, he sent a quick text to Lili asking her if she wanted his Dad to come and get Charlie so they could watch her. Spending the night apart from Lili and Charlotte had been strange and mostly Cole just had felt bad that he hadn't been there to help out with the infant. He had good nights and bad ones with his insomnia and usually it was easier for him to watch Charlie if he was already awake. He didn't want Lili stressing herself out by trying to watch Charlotte and get herself ready for the big day.
Lili felt her phone vibrate and pulling it out, she breathed a sigh of relief at Cole's text. 'Yes please!!' she texted back hurriedly. 'She already spit up on my dress :(' The urge to cry was still real but Lili was determined to not let anything bring her down today. Just because things didn't go perfectly today didn't mean it wasn't going to be /perfect/. She pressed a kiss against Charlie's head as Matt showed up to take his granddaughter in his arms and smiled as he complimented her. She was so happy their families were becoming a joint unit because Matt was a great father-in-law to her already. Feeling like she could breathe a little easier now, Lili sat still as Austyn prepped her veil over her hair and she pulled back her phone, sending another text to Cole. 'Almost ready..you nervous? Getting cold feet? 😉 '
Cole: could sense the relief in Lili's texts and was glad that he'd offered to take the baby. At least it would be one less thing for Lili to have to worry about. Waiting for his Dad to come back, Cole felt his phone notify him of another text and he replied immediately 'No, if I did, I'd have to take you with me'. He was happy and grateful that everyone had come together to help them with this special day but it was still a lot and Cole was definitely looking forward to the reception when everyone would be free to mingle about. He heard Charlotte before he saw her and Cole was becoming less and less surprised by her crying outbursts. He pulled a bottle from the bag his dad was carrying and sat down to feed the infant. It didn't take long for Charlotte to fall back asleep and Cole walked around with her, greeting people as they came in. When it was nearly time, Cole handed his daughter back off to his Dad and took his place at the front.
Lili smiled at Cole's text, charmed that he even with prime opportune time to make plenty of jokes, was more than serious about sticking with her. They were a solid unit. 'True. I wouldn't let you get too far away from me.' Lili hit send and was immediately scolded for texting Cole, the girls teasing that she couldn't be away from him for a second. She laughed along with them and set her phone aside, knowing they'd be standing in front of each other soon enough. She was ready to go now. She had had her manicure and pedicures done, her hair carefully styled, her veil tucked over her face. They had taken plenty of photos that Lili knew she was going to cry over later and now..all they had to do was get to the barn and prepare to have her Dad walk her down the aisle. She gave a nervous but excited smile to Vanessa as they locked eyes and then they were exiting the house to make their way over.
Cole: checked his phone one last time, smiling at Lili's text before turning it on do no disturb and putting it away in his coat pocket for now. Everything was ready. All the guests were seated, everyone in the wedding party was where they were meant to be and Cole had taken his place at the front. It was nerve wracking having everyone staring at him and Cole was just hoping the ceremony would go quickly so they didn't have to be in the spotlight for too long. He was excited to marry Lili but it was still a lot. A couple minutes later, the music to "Say you won't let go" an instrumental version started playing and the doors opened. All the bridesmaids went first and soon Cole was locking eyes with Lili. Seeing her in her dress was an indescribeable feeling and Cole was just hoping Dylan couldn't see his watery eyes so he wouldn't have to endure the teasing later. Shaking Dan's hand when he and Lili had arrived, Cole took Lili's hand. "Hey"
Lili could see everyone sitting down and waiting patiently for her big entrance. Austyn and Dylan had entered first, linking arms and walking down the aisle as Say You Won't Let Go played beautifully with just an instrumental score. Lili could feel goosebumps crinkling over her arms and as soon as she saw the last bridesmaid/groomsman take their places by the pastor, and the music swelled, she knew it was her turn. Her vision was already blurry and Lili sucked in a deep breath to see her father blinking back tears as well. "If you cry, I'll definitely cry," she chuckled waterly and wiped at her face before beginning to slowly walk with him down the aisle. She could feel all eyes on her but all Lili could see was Cole, staring back at her with that look on his face he had worn when he first met her. Pure adoration and like he was the luckiest man in the world. He made /her/ feel like the luckiest woman in the world to be loved and wanted by him. "Hi," she mouthed as she made her way to him and grinned as her father lifted her veil off her face. She kissed his cheek and then clasped Cole's hand, giving a little laugh. "Hi," she repeated back to him, unable to stop smiling. "Ready to do this?"
Cole: "I guess so. Now or never right?" Cole answered Lili as they took their spot once more. It was easy being up there in front of everyone with her because it didn't really feel like there was anyone else in the room except the two of them. Like it always did whenever they were together. The talking from the side of them was just background noise now and Cole focused all his attention on Lili. It was easier to try and do that rather then worry about everything else going on around them and Cole was easily distracted in busy and overstimulating settings. "You look beautiful by the way" Cole told her, it was probably just loud enough for Lili to hear but he still wanted to tell her.
Lili ducked her head, smiling as Cole complimented her. "And you look incredibly handsome. Handsome enough to marry," she teased and the pastor gave them a smile before beginning to talk. He welcomed their guests to the wedding and remarked how happy he was to be there, and how exciting it was to celebrate the love between them. Lili squeezed Cole's hand at this, knowing just how much they had been through together. He mentioned Charlotte, still snoozing away in Matt's arms and Lili glanced over at her daughter with a soft look on her face. She was a direct result of the love between Cole and her and she would truly be what linked them forever. "Lili and Cole have been said to talk to each other like they've been together for twenty years," the pastor spoke. "Love is friendship set on fire and they are the definition of that. We are gathered here today to celebrate this love and wish for strength and happiness throughout their future together." Lili glanced at all the smiling faces, all of their friends, all of their family that had been there for them since the beginning. Her throat swelled with emotion and she swallowed, looking over at KJ and trying her hardest not to cry at how hard /he/ was trying not to cry.
Cole: choosing not to answer Lili's next words, Cole shot her a smile and tried to listen to the pastors words as he started speaking. It was quiet save for the words he was saying and Cole was happy to use to the time to just relax and take in Lili. Her dress was stunning and Cole could barely keep his eyes off her. He always found it easy to get lost in her eyes and Cole was trying to concentrate on what the pastor was saying and also on Lili. Eventually there was a call for the rings so they could say their vows and Cole held Lili's ring in his hand as the pastor nodded that he could start. He took a breath before starting to speak Lil, I don’t believe in soulmates but as the saying goes that there is plenty of fish in the sea, then you are definitely my fish. Throughout our life together and beyond, I promise to smile with you, cry with you, and grow with you. I promise to laugh with you in good times and struggle alongside you in bad times. There is little to say that you haven’t already heard, and little to give that is not already freely given. I am blessed to have found a life partner with whom I already feel is my equal and my only hope is that I can make you as happy as you make me because you have made me the luckiest and happiest man on earth." As he'd spoken, Cole had slid the ring onto Lili's hand.
Lili bit her lip, tears already swimming in her eyes as he began to speak. Cole always had such a beautiful way with words and she was always mesmerized with the sonnets he could spin her. "You're the fish," she repeated back to him, remembering his Instagram caption from so long ago. She believed in everything he was saying and there was such passion and promise behind his words. She reached up to wipe away a falling tear but she couldn't help herself, the waterworks were beginning to start. It was a good thing her makeup artist had insisted on waterproof mascara. Staring down at the ring that was slid onto her finger, the fresh polish made it glint in the lights in the barn and she sucked in a shuddering breath. It was now her turn. "When I met you, I wasn't ready for you," she began, her voice trembling slightly. "I was entering this new chapter of my life and everything was changing for me. I moved away from home to a new country, I was surrounded by people I didn't know, and I had lost who I thought was my great love in life. But then, there you were. Sitting across from me and all I could see was the back of your head. That was it. There was no meet cute, just..two people catching quick glimpses of each other and then slowly, throughout the days and months, you became more than just a very attractive head." Lili smiled as a few people laughed in their chairs. "You became my shoulder to cry on. My warm hand to hold. My lap to place my feet on. My reassuring blue eyes. My best friend and then without warning, slowly and quietly, you became my everything. I fell in love with you because you unashamedly fall in love with everything. You taught me how to look at life with wider eyes and have more faith in the universe. You never made me feel anything but safe and okay to be myself. I feel like I've known you in different worlds and different times, and I'm never going to stop looking at you with the stars in my eyes because you are my favorite constellation. I'm going to love you until my lungs give you," she smiled at him and taking the ring from Austyn, slid it onto Cole's finger as well.
Cole: listened to Lili talk. He and Lili had always been very open and honest about their feelings towards one another but it was different saying these things in front of their friends and family. Lili had always had a way with words that just made you feel what she was saying was true and it was emotional listening to everything that was being said. Especially thinking about everything they had been through together. It had only been four years but what an adventurous four years they'd had. It was surreal to look down and see a wedding band on his hand as well. He tore his face away from Lili's for a second to try and concentrate on what the pastor was now saying "Do you Cole Mitchell Sprouse take Lili Pauline Reinhart, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do you part, according to God's holy law, as your solemn vow?" "I do"
Lili really listened to every part of the vows. For better and for worse - done. She had seen Cole in his best moods and had dealt with him in his worst. In sickness and in health - done. Nobody took care of her better than Cole, he was constantly on the lookout for her and always making sure she was taking care of herself, and she for him. She did her best to help him sleep and take care of not only his physical health, but his mental health too. To love and to cherish - forever and always if she had anything to do with it. He was a work of art to her, the best treasure she touched, and she was never going to stop letting him know she appreciated him. Till death do you part - "I do," Lili spoke clearly, looking into Cole's eyes. Her parents had been married for years and were still happy and in love. They could do it. She was never going to stop fighting for them. "Since Cole and Lili have grown in knowledge and love of one another, and because they have agreed in their desire to go forward in life together, seeking an even richer, deepening relationship, and because they have pledged to meet sorrow and joy as one family..we rejoice to recognize them as husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride!" Lili beamed, wrapping her arms around Cole's neck and meeting his lips in a deep kiss.
Cole: grinned when Lili answered back with the same 'I do' and listened once again for the pastor to announce them husband and wife. He pulled her close, wrapping his arms around her waist as their lips met as applause went up in the barn. As much as Cole wanted the moment to go on forever, it was soon over and he had to pull back for air. Soon it was quiet again and Cole and Lili were being directed towards signing the marriage certificate. This didn't take too long and soon Cole was holding a hand out for Lili so they could walk back down the aisle together. "Now presenting Lili Pauline and Cole Mitchell Sprouse!"
Lili didn't want to let go of Cole, enjoying their first kiss as a married couple. She grinned at him as she finally pulled back and teasingly wiped some lipstick away from his mouth, lifting their joint hands up in the air to be met with cheers. She could even hear KJ whistling in the background and Lili was completely overwhelmed by the love that was there for them. After signing their marriage certificate, Lili held onto Cole's hand tightly as they walked back down the aisle and laughed as Addy threw some flowers at her that hadn't been littered onto the floor already. Austyn had fixed her train and Lili held onto her bouquet tightly, making sure to smile for the cameras that were aiming her and Cole's way as they led their wedding parties back out the entrance of the barn. She pulled Cole aside, knowing they'd have to step away for photos soon but she wanted one quiet moment with him. "Hi, husband," she grinned at him and twined her fingers with his, their matching wedding bands glinting in the sun. Amy brought Charlie over to them and Lili held her in between them, giving her soft kiss a cheek. "The best result of our love. I'm so happy she was here for this. I guess we've just been waiting for her, huh?"
Cole: was smiling from ear to ear as they made their way back down the aisle. It had felt like planning for this wedding had taken a long time and now in the blink of an eye they were already married. It was overwhelming in the best way and Cole never wanted how he felt about Lili to go away. Especially in the moment. "Hi Wife" He echoed back when they finally had a small moment to themselves. "I can't believe that just happened" He spoke, smiling down at Charlie once she had been brought over and stroking her cheek gently with his finger. "Yeah. We needed a witness" Cole joked, happy that Charlotte had stayed asleep throughout the ceremony. She liked to pick and choose her moments to be fussy and thankfully had slept when they needed her to. "I love you" He spoke "Both of you"
Lili "We love you too," Lili spoke tenderly, leaning over to press a kiss against her husband's lips. Her husband. Lili was now officially Lili Sprouse, the wife of Cole. If only she could go back in time and tell her teenage self this now..she'd be cackling at the craziness of it. Charlie was quiet, still sleepy from waking up from her nap, and just peered up at both Cole and Lili. The little family of three stayed quiet and present in this special moment before Lili could hear everyone beckoning them over for photos. They'd do that, get a hour to just sit and talk and take their own photos, and then the reception would begin. Lili was so excited. "Let's go do this," she squeezed Cole's hand. "We've got the rest of our life to start."

Chapter 6: Grandma Rudy Arrives (10 Days till Christmas)
Janessa:
Tumblr media
I woke up this morning feeling like a weight had finally been lifted off my shoulders. I never knew Vada still held on to that night, I kind of just put it behind me, and moved on. After Grandma Rudy surprised us. We all caught up with her in the living room, Mama and Daddy set her up a room, and we just all went to sleep, I was in pain from Vada’s slap when I woke up. “Damn it that girl can hit” I got dressed for the day and sat on my bed and called my husband on facetime. “Damn baby what happened” Dylan said seeing my face bruised on one side. I sighed. “Vada” I told him. He shook his head. “Damn, yall still beefing?” He asked. I shook my head. “No actually we made amends last night after she hit me” I told him. He smiled at me. “Your still beautiful, right Chase” Dylan said with Chase climbing all on him. “Yesth” He said with his little lisp not paying me any mind. “So I’m thinking fuck it, I should just come over today” He told me. I felt nervous a little. “I mean, yeah everything has calmed over here so far and daddy is happily in a relationship so he wouldn’t care” I said. I heard a knock at the door before it opened. I jumped but calmed down when I seen it was Grandma Rudy. “You scared me” I told her. She laughed and gave me a cup of something. I tasted it then made a face. “It’s eggnog with henny” She said. I laughed. Grandma Rudy always had to be drinking. “That’s that husband of yours?” She said. I nodded slowly but confused how did she know. “You wear your wedding ring like an idiot, if you trying to hide the fact your married child just take off the got damn ring” She said before sitting next to me. She snatched my iPhone. “Oooh I remember him, hey fine white chocolate you remember me?” She said smirking. I see Dylan nod and laugh through the camera. “Let me see that baby, Hey Grandma Rudy’s baby, he so cute, looking like coffee mixed with crème, a latte baby” She said sipping on her drink. I seen Chase look through the phone smiling. “You have a nice ass family Nessa; your daddy is going to kill you” She laughed before handing me my phone back. “Your grandma and my grandma shirl should meet” He said laughing. Grandma Rudy and I were on facetime with Dylan for an hour before he had to go because Chase was getting fussy and needed to eat. “So you and Vada made up?” She asked. I smiled yeah. “Does she know the rest?” Grandma Rudy said. I put face in my hands. “No, and I’m not telling her, it was in the past Grandma, were fine now” I told her getting up. If Vada found out we dated after she left for 2 years, and that I got pregnant, got an abortion she would be pissed at me even more.
 Nori:

Ever since, I told Dre. I thought it would be easier for me, and I wouldn’t have to stress about hiding my pregnancy, but shit aint go to good when I told him. I been trying to listen to breathing exercises to calm down when I’m stressed. I heard a knock at my door. “Hold On!” I said. I put on my oversized jacket quickly and zipped it up. “Come in” I said. In walked Janessa. “You scared me Ness” I said. She smiled. “Sorry, How are you?” She asked. I shrugged. “I’m okay, just I’m always tired, he is always moving, I’m hungry. I want cereal at random times, and Doritos dipped in Ranch is like my go too, I just feel by myself” I stressed to her. She sat down on my bed, I sat next to her. She rubbed my stomach a little. “If things get to crazy here, you can come with us in L.A. I will help you” She told me. I smiled. She got off my bed, and opened the door. “I’ll see you downstairs” She told me. I stood up and looked at my mirror, and absurd my baby bump. My iphone started ringing. I noticed the number. I picked up the phone. I could hear him breathing on the phone. “Norielle” He finally said. “Yes”. “I, I want to apologize for blowing up on you, I was caught of guard”. He told me. I felt a tear drop of my cheek. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know how to tell you, I didn’t want to say it through a jail visit where we can’t even touch each other, I really need you right now Dre and you’re in there”. I said through my tears. “Nori, it was still fucked up man, I shouldn’t have questioned you but damn girl you showing, it ain’t like you just found out”. He said. “I was in denial Dre’, I didn’t know how far I was until I went to the doctor, I’m 5months, Im due May 15th.” I told him.  “You know what we are having?” He asked. I smiled. “A boy”. I could hear him getting emotional on the other in of the phone. “I um, damn I’m have a son that’s crazy, and you were going to keep him from me”. I sighed. “Dre, I was not going to do that, I was not trying to leave you nothing My doctor said NO stress, I love you, I want us to have this big happy family but first you focus on getting out and I’ll focus on getting him here”. I told him. “I don’t have much time Nori, I love you and my son man” He hung up. “I was going to give you some drank but I see you can’t drink” I turned around and seen Grandma Rudy standing by my door. I was about to cry. “Please don’t tell Grandma” I stressed to her. She put the drinks down and hugged me. “Stop all that crying girl, I’m not telling nothing. I ain’t no snitch baby, I’m here for you. Now having a baby is a big responsibility. They cry, they shit, they take up all your damn time, you can’t drink cause you got to breast honey it’s a whole damn job, are you ready for this?” She asked me. I shrugged my shoulders. “I don’t know, I just know I love my baby already so much” I told her. “Well your still in school, that’s good, you got family that loves, although my daughter will shit a whole brick when she finds out good lord, but I got you baby” She told me. I nodded and hugged her. “Thank you, Grandma,”. “Baby get dressed, we are going out today”. She told me. I nodded and started to finish getting dressed.

I was sitting at the dining room table with Damien and Nylah eating Cereal when Nori and Grandma Rudy came downstairs. “So yall ain’t fucked yet?” I asked looking at Nylah and Damien. Nylah looked at me crazy, Damien smirked. “I mean I have tried” Nylah pushed him. “Boy please” I started laughing. That nigga D was blind asf La-La was feeling him and if he stopped trying to fuck old ladys then he would see how beautiful she was and how she been there for his dumb ass since diaper days but that aint my bizz. “Who fucked what?” Grandma Rudy said. She was lit. “Hey Grandma Rudy you got the juice, that good shit” I said. She winked at me and slid me a cup. “Oh its lit” She held her hand out. “I know you got that green for your granny now” She said. I smiled. “I gotchu G-ma” I told her. Momma walked downstairs looking nice. “Good morning babies” She said smiling. She kissed Grandma Ruby cheek. “Hi mama”. My mama said. Grandma Rudy looked at her suspiciously. “Who been in your draws Rice?” She asked my mama. “Ayye yo Grams nobody wants to hear about who been blowing my mama back out why we eating”. I told her. “Hush up boy how you think all yall got here” She said. My mom was humming around the kitchen, now she boujee, she never eats cereal so we all just stared at her as she made her some all smiley and shit. “Mommy you good?” Nori asked walking in. My mom nodded. “Mmmhm she done met somebody or got her groove back” Grandma Rudy said sipping on her “Special” drink. My mom normally would argue with G-ma but she just waved her off, yeah that’s nasty but somebody done made my mama happy, she aint get home till 2 am after she had been out all day, and Daddy left to go back to his apartment since they announced they divorce, shit was weird as fuck. My iphone started buzzing. It was Mack. I sighed and got up to go outside and take the call. Homie been scaring me since he pulled the strap on me, like made me one to get suited up too, just in case. I ain’t no bitch but I was scared to piss him off. “Yerr” I said. I could hear Mack laughing. “Nigga, don’t yerr me bitch, What happened to what’s up Bossman…anyways I don’t need you to fuck up on my shipment again young blood, I need you at 8pm asap, or I’m pull up on you again and it wont be pleasant, now I been letting you slide cause you my favorite but you missing out on my million dollar deal the other night hurt me, and as of recently I found out that you never got that brick to East Side a few months, but it’s all good just be there tonight get me this money, get me this merch and ill move up your pay and your position” He told me. My heart was racing. “Aight I got you, 8 pm don’t fuck up” I told him. He laughed. “You already know”. He ended the call. I heard the front door open, revealing my Grandma Rudy in her puffer jacket and a scarf drinking her liquor in a coffee cup. “Now I know you aint bout to roll one without your grams” She said. I smiled. “Nah I got you grams”. She nodded. “Nori told me you got yourself a range rover, and a condo in Buckhead”. She said smiling. I nodded. “Yeah, but keep that between us, I been saving at footlocker” I told her. She started laughing. “MJ used to be saving up at Taco Bell, lying ass nigga he was out there selling them drugs and being a want to be gangsta, I had to bail him out of jail so many got damn times, so I know when my grandkids up to no good” She told me. I passed her a blunt I had already rolled. We sat on the porch. “You know your twin is pregnant?” She asked me. I nodded. “Yeah man its tough for her with her baby daddy in jail and shit” I said. “How he get there?” She asked. I sighed. “Um they found a pack of cocaine in his car like a brick” I told her. She looked at me as I looked towards the drive way. “He was dealing too?” She asked me. I shook my head. “Nah, he like a honor student, Um G-ma don’t tell Nori this but I um I l had got scared cause the cops was checking my dorm for narcotics so I got scared, I aint want to go to jail so I noticed his car door was unlocked. I put it in his car”. I confessed to her. She shook her head at me. “That’s a shame, your sister struggling as it is to keep this secret of hers, you going to have to make this right or tell her, I can keep your secret Nari but you need to be a man and own up to this” She told me. I shook my head. “I can’t right now, she so damn fragile since she been pregnant, she would cut me off, or panic or lose the baby and I don’t want to stress her out, she stressed as is because of me”. I said. She passed the blunt to me. “Well it’s your mess baby, you figure it out”. The front door opened again, revealing Vada, Nori and Michael and Janessa, Damien and Nylah. I quickly put the blunt out. “Damn grandma Rudy you drunk and high?”. Vada asked. Grams shrugged. “Im what yall say lit?” She said smiling. Vada held her hand out. “What?” I asked. She smirked. “Pass me it, shit Im stressed I need to smoke” She said. “You got to share” Michael told her. She smiled. “Ofcourse”. “Aye yall mutherfuckas need to chill this my shit, but ima share” I said. They laughed. I lit the blunt and we all passed it around and we all smoked except Nori and Janessa. “So what’s the move?” I asked. “Well we all about to hit up the mall” She said. I nodded, “Yall have fun, I’m bout to go see my girl” I told them. After we smoked, G-ma, Vi and Mike, Damien and Nylah was smacked. They all got in the car with snacks and shit and pulled off. I started getting ready to go see my girl.

When we pulled up to the mall, the first place we all went was the food court. Nori and Janessa and I split up from Michael, he wanted to get gifts from me and didn’t want me to see. Grandma Rudy ran off cause her boyfriend Charles met her up here. Damien and Nylah went their separate ways, so it was just me and my sisters. “The last time we all hung out like this Nori was like 9 or 10, we were babies now were grown that’s crazy, how have you been Nori, I haven’t catched up with you since I got here” I said to her. She went through her phone and slid it to me, it was picture of an ultrasound. “I’m pregnant, I’m 25 weeks, and I’m having a boy. Oh my God that felt so good to get off my chest” She said. I was staring at her and the picture in shock. I saw her and Narkim when they were born, I helped change them and bath them and I’m fucking shook. “Wow, your going to be a mom” I said in a daze still high. She smiled and nodded. “That’s weird to say, just keep this between yall, I will tell everyone else when I’m ready”. She told us. I nodded. “Where’s the father?” I asked. She showed me and Janessa a picture. “Oh girl he is fine, where are you hiding him?” I asked her. “He is in jail” She told me. I looked at her crazy. “Come again?” I asked. “He was wrongly accused, but he will be out soon” She said. I almost smacked her. “Well, I hope everything works out, I don’t want you out here being a baby mama”. I said to her. “I’m getting married, well hopefully Michael proposed earlier this month” I said. Nessa and Nori smiled. “Oh my gosh Vi, I’m so happy for you” Janessa said. “He wants to have time to tell Daddy, you know how he is” I said to them. Janessa nodded. “Don’t we”. I was curious to know why she was single. “You live alone in L.A?” I asked. She slowly shook her head. “I have a life out there, but right now I’m keeping it private” She told me. We sat and talked and ate our food just catching up on sister shit. “Vada? Vada Richards?” I heard a man say. I bought choked on my juice. “Omari?” I said. He held his arms out for a hug. I got up and hugged him. He smelt so got damn good. “Damn girl you are looking fine as hell, how are you?” He asked. “I’m good, how are you?” I asked. He smiled. “I’m good, I’m sorry about that night when you left, I was hurt, I felt so bad I didn’t know how that happened. I never meant to hurt you” He said. I nodded. “It was a decade ago, Im over it”. I said. “I’m actually here with my sisters, you of course remember Janessa, and this is my baby sister Norielle” I told him. He looked at Janessa. “Hey, Ness” He said. I don’t know why but him calling her “Ness” pissed me off. “Well it’s nice seeing you” I said. He pulled out his phone. “Can I get your number maybe we can meet up again?” He said. “Well who is this chocolate drip?” I heard Grandma Ruby say walking hand in hand with her man Charles. “Grandma, you just going to say that with Charles right there?” Nori said. She waved him off. “Old bat is losing his hearing, Right Charles!” She yelled in his ear. He smiled at her. “See, now who are you?” She asked Omari. “Hi, I’m an old boyfriend, Im Omari” He told her. Grandma Ruby dropped her smile and let go of Charles hand. “Oh you that nigga, that broke my Vada’s heart and then….”. “Grandma!” Janessa said cutting her off. Grandma Rudy stopped what she was saying. “You fine boy but you trifling, plus Vada already has a man and he is way sexier than you keep it in the family having ass, come on Charles” She said walking with him, looking at me. “I um well” Omari said. I awkwardly smiled. “We can maybe catch up on drinks but like she said I do have a man”. I told him. He nodded. We exchanged numbers, we hugged again, and he walked away. Michael walked up behind me hugging me from behind. Nori and Janessa looked at me and I glared at them, they could read that I was telling them to be quiet.

“So, who is this girl that you are keeping from me?” Nylah said. Laying on my bed with her feet on the wall. “Nobody, just a little bitch I’m fucking” I told her. She laughed a little. “You like her?” She asked. I shrugged. “I mean I like the way I feel around her, but it’s not love” I said honestly. “What is love to you D?” She asked. I shrugged. “I don’t know, like some real vibe type shit, homies and lovers” I said. She started to get up and face me. “Well you love me?” She asked. I looked at her for a while. “Yes, I do” I said. She smiled. “Like a friend, like a sister, like a girlfriend?” She asked. I sighed. “I just love you, I mean I’d beat anybody ass for you, and kill for you, and like die for you type love” I said to her. She looked at me and then looked down, “I love you too”. We looked at each other for a minute, next thing I know we was making out on the bed.
“I um, I’m sorry La-La” I said to Nylah. She was putting back on her clothes. “Don’t be sorry” She said smiling. I smirked at her, “What are we, what is this?” She asked. I sighed, “Let me think for a minute” I told her. I walked up to her and kissed her. “I got you La and you got me, but if my moms find out we just had sex, you going to Nori’s room” I told her laughing. My phone buzzed, and I see I had a text from Kristen. “I’m outside, back yard.” I read. “I’m be back” I told Nylah. She nodded and grabbed her stuff to take a shower. I ran downstairs and went out the back door. I looked to see if Vada and Michael could see us, but their blinds were closed in the guest house. “Oh you making house visits now Ms. Madison?” I asked folding my arms. She looked at me. “I couldn’t think about our last encounter and I’m sorry for leading you on, can we please just move forward?” She asked. I inhaled deeply and nodded. “Sure whatever” I said. She looked at me shocked. “Really?” She asked. I nodded. “Yeah so you can get gone now” I told her. She stood there. “I um, I missed you” She said smiling at me. “Nah, we not doing this, you good fam you can go fuck the older version of me, and shit” I told her. She started coming on to me, doing that kissing on me shit. I was starting to fall for it. “He said you good!” I heard my grandma Rudy say. We both jumped. “Get your old ass away from my grandson bitch” Grandma Rudy said. She came out there with her henny bottle, and a blunt. Kristen ran off. “Spill it” She said to me sitting at the back-porch table. “I um, Nah you don’t want to hear it” I said to her. She gave me a stern look. “She’s my teacher, we were messing around until I found out she’ dad’s girl”. She started chugging her henny. “I aint drunk enough for this shit” She said getting up. “I aint gon say nothing to you knuckle head ass daddy, lets go inside”. She said to me. I walked upstairs, and I came in my room. “Want to go again?” Nylah said smiling at me. Now I know I got the juice, but damn these females go crazy for D’s D. “Let’s just chill tonight” I told her. She started laughing and nodded.

I was up fixing a snack in the Kitchen, I couldn’t sleep since Danielle left place. My mom been out late these last 2 nights like she’s some 20-year-old girl what the fuck is going on in here. “Hey baby” My grandma said. “Hey Grandma Rudy”. I said. She was walking all over the place stumbling. She went to the radio set in the corner of the living room and started playing Boys 2 men “Let is Snow”. She started swaying around. “This my shit!” I nodded and laughed. “Alright grandma lets get you to bed” I said. She shook her head. “Can you take me to Charles house?” She asked. I groaned. “Alright let’s take you to your man’s house”. She packed a bag that she called a “Dick Appointment bag”, my grandma be tripping man. We got in my car and started driving, Charles lived just 35minutes away. “Where Dani?” She asked me. “Um with her family” I said. She nodded. “I’m happy yall still together even after you tried to get back with Gia”. She told me. I shook my head. “Let’s not bring that up grandma” I told her. “What? I’m glad you decided to end that break yall had to go back to her” She said. I shrugged. “I think She’s cheating on me Grandma, she been hiding shit staying out all night” I said to her. She looked at me. “That’s cause you think when yall had that break she fucked around on you too, sometimes women just need a man to be there, you got to be there” She told me. We talked a little bit before I dropped her off. I sat in the drive way of Charles house before I thought about what she said. I drove to Douglasville to Dani’s fam’s house to see her and my kids. When I pulled up at the house, I seen her, and some nigga laughing in the window. I was so fucking mad I wanted to drive through that damn house. “Fuck this!” I banged on the door. The door opened revealing my wife. Her smile went to a scared look. “Malcom, what are you doing here, I told you I’d be back tomorrow” She said. I laughed. “You up here with that nigga with my kids Dani!” I yelled. She shook her head. “Malcom please he’s my cousin” She snapped. “Man fuck you” I said. I got in my car and drove to some place familiar. I knocked on the door. “MJ what are you doing here?” Gia asked. “Can I crash here?” I asked. She nodded and let me in.

Emma was slightly uneasy, fueled with maternal anxieties as she sipped on a chilled water bottle. She had swiped it from Sprayberry's clutches minutes ago, and the poor boy had yet to realize it. They were all severely jet-lagged, hardly awake yet but managing with their ever growing excitement. Her hand was clutched in Ellery's, a grin on her face as the two of them chattered endlessly. They had caught the same flight over to France, but even spending so many hours in a confined space proved to do them no harm. Dylan had tuned them out hours ago, using the baby as an excuse to be distracted. Emma hadn't fought him much on that, thankful to have a few hours to herself while her best friend and Dylan fussed over the five month old.
To say that luxury was short lived was majorly overlooked. The minute they landed Dylan and Ellery were ushered off to another section of the airport, Emma and Logan being led to customs. The baby had been fussy for hours after that, and despite Logan tagging along to help out, nothing had calmed Everly besides her mothers attentive touch. Emma was officially running on four hours of sleep, and she wasn't sure how her eyelids even managed to stay open.
She had left Logan and Everly in the hotel room just a few blocks from the convention center earlier that morning, pre-ordering her friend a coffee as a gesture of thanks. Not every twenty-year-old jumped at the chance of taking a fifteen hour flight to France only to be a babysitter.
"Makeup did a good job." Ellery teased, laughing when Emma dug her fingertips into her sides, a taunting grin on her face that had them both in fits of delirious laughter. They pulled apart quickly after, rummaging through the pile of French candies and snacks.
When they got the two minute signal, both girls grabbed a handful of hard candy, letting it fall into their mouths without much care. Dylan had witnessed it occur, rolling his eyes at his sister and his best, maybe more then friend, friend.
They had a steady thing going since well before Everly's birth, but only after did Dylan truly prove he wasn't just in it for the chase. He had stayed over on nights when Emma had begged him to just go home and be a normal kid on her behalf. He had changed diapers at three in the morning, and sat through breastfeeding's at four without complaint. He had been her rock for months now, and steadily both of them were craving more.
"How are you late?" Emma asked Holland around a mouthful of pastel candy, "Isn't your hotel the closest?" Holland wrinkled her nose at the sight, painfully accustomed to Emma's delirious habits.
"We got lost." Holland exclaimed, "Took a left when we should have went straight, and then when we should have made a right we went straight."
Emma rolled her eyes, swallowing the mouthful of candy before bringing Holland in for a tight hug. She hadn't seen much of the redhead in recent months, being cooped up in her apartment with Dylan and occasionally her friends from back in Jersey. She was taking her time settling into the whole parenting routine, but she would never miss an opportunity for fan interaction.
When they were lined up to start heading out, Sprayberry had finally noticed Emma clutching his water bottle, the sharpie painted cap rubbing off on her fingertips as she fiddled with it. He snatched it back, taking a swig, before handing it back.
"Could've just asked." He teased.
"That wouldn't have been as fun. Besides, you're oblivious when your tired." Emma concluded, cheekily taking another sip of the water and finishing it off. She threw it out, having just enough time to smooth down her shirt before they were being called out on stage.
Ryan went out first, then Dylan, Ellery, Megan, Emma, Crystal, Holland, and Shelley. It was a line-up of one badass women after another, which didn't happen very often in the land of teen wolf conventions. The show wasn't totally male dominated, but the numbers were slightly uneven when it came to promotion.
Emma took her seat between Crystal and Megan, smiling widely at the two. Crystal gave her hands a few squeezes before dropping them and grabbing the water bottle given to her by a stagehand.
Emma pulled out her phone, sending Logan a text as the moderator asked Crystal, Megan, and Ellery about their experience and exposure to France. She was answered immediately with a picture of her munchkin. The bright blue eyes of her baby were slowly earning speckles of darker blue and brown, but her large gummy grin was still the same even behind a pacifier. Her tan onesie decorated with skin tone colored rainbows was undone at the bottom, a recent habit Everly was getting into.
Crystal had leaned over just in time to see the picture, cooing in Emma's ear as she typed out a response before putting her phone away, giving the fans her undivided attention. She looked up at Crystal with a grin, glad to be reunited with the girl.
It wasn't long before they were getting into fan questions, and the interpreter was listening intently. "She wants to know what you miss the most."
"The long hours of work. I miss that, seriously." Dylan exclaimed after a moment of his drawn out um, "I miss having purpose." He joked, Emma couldn't help but roll her eyes at him, although she did miss the long nights. Anytime you created relationships on set and then put them to the test during fraturdays or fifteen hour shoots was always exhilarating.
"People." Holland sang, "I think you miss the people, I miss JR and Ian acting like they're an old married couple." Holland paused when the crowd erupted into screams, a smile breaking her lips. "Right, you know what I'm taking about? I genuinely actually miss that."
Emma grinned, nodding her head at the many memories of JR and Ian's bickering.
"I miss school. During night shots, taking math tests at three in the morning. It sounds like absolute torture, and it was, many tears were shed in that room, but it was always unofficial crackhead shit. I think I gave Spray a concussion one time." Emma grinned, biting down on her bottom lip when laughter arose at her answer. Sprayberry didn't miss a beat though, having been waiting for this moment for at least three years.
It was nearly four in the morning during season six, the both of then were slowly finishing up their senior year, and through delirium they'd decided yoga would be a good idea. They had gotten half way through the first pose before Emma slipped off of his shoulders and the both of them tumbled to the ground. Jeff hadn't let them in the room together for nearly a month after that.
"You did! I was out of choreo for a week." He fed into the microphone.
"It wasn't a life threatening injury, you're fine." She rolled her eyes, before looking at the crowd who. The majority was teenage girls, and they were all collectively giggling at the banter. "He's fine."
Emma turned her head, sticking her tongue out at Sprayberry before she fell back in her seat laughing. Their dynamic had never changed, though being surrounded by old friends had brought out a spark that had been slowly fading with time and adulthood.
"Shelley, would you like to say something?" The moderator questioned, taking Shelley's elaborate hand gestures as her wanting to say something. Emma grinned at the shocked expression on her face before she covered it up.
"The people." She mused, "I miss the people, I miss catching up with them. I miss you guys." Shelley smiled earning cheers to go around the room.
Emma looked down at her phone, seeing the screen light up beneath her leg. From the way it was positioned she could see that it was Logan sending her pictures, she could only assume Everly was being a little shit and using her time away from Emma to meet new milestones.
"Hi, um, what was your favorite scene to film?" A fan asked. Emma had missed this, it hadn't been too long since she'd had this kind of exposure, but it wasn't as painfully frequent as it once was. Emma could never find a medium she liked, always bending more towards a side then a middle.
"My favorite scenes to film were also the worst scenes to film, whenever we had huge ensemble because they would take forever. But it was also fun because everyone was in the scene, so there was a lot of goofing off and having fun. But you would shoot certain scenes for weeks, it felt like, at least days, but your at least having fun with the same people, just like up here. We can all have fun when we're not being professional."
Dylan leaned over the look in his blue eyes gleaming as he knew his voice wouldn't be carried far into the audience because he didn't have a mic, "Do you know how to be professional?"
It was a joke from years ago, one that hadn't been brought up in at least a few months. Emma grinned leaning forward just the same, the glint in her eyes dangerous with energy, "I'll cut your balls off."
The both of them laughed as they leaned back. They weren't sure why that had been so funny, but filming season four had lead to it's creation one morning between Tuesday and Wednesday. Emma was pretty she had been nearly asleep with her head in Sprayberry's lap when he made the joke, and her groggy response had been a tad violent.
Megan was still laughing when she started explaining her answer, being handed a microphone from Holland so the audience could hear her. Crystal glanced over at Emma, sharing a meaningful look with the girl. She was always very put together during panels, the least likely of the cast to go off on wild rants of what happened behind the scenes.
"Yeah that being said, I love to do all my own stunts. Although, that being said, I don't do all my own stunts, my stunt double was amazing, but I kind of love being physical especially because most of those scenes are at night, so it wakes you up it makes you be very aware. But, yeah, those were my favorite scenes. The stunt work, and also, so this question comes up a lot and were asked a lot, and every single time that I'm asked I feel like my scenes always change, and I just thought about the scene in the pilot Holland with you and Emma, at the lacrosse game?" Crystal smiled, at the memory that resurfaced. The pilot was so long ago, filmed nearly nine years ago, but memories were still so vivid.
"Oh yeah." Holland grinned, Emma smiled at the memory.
"You were so brilliant in that scene." Crystal grinned, "But it was the first time that we got to hang out as like normal people. I don't know, it was a great scene with you guys." She grinned, making heart pumping motions with her hands when the crowd awed.
"During that scene about lacrosse I was just talking about getting fired before i had basically even been hired, like, i just hope i make it for a second season, you don't understand, you don't understand. So that's what we were -- that's what I was complaining to Crystal and Em about in the bleachers during that scene." Holland laughed, "But yeah that was a fun scene."
"It was cold too!" Emma added, "Holland and I were in mini skirts and booty shorts."
"It was so cold." Holland agreed, "And, this is a zinger, Atlanta hadn't had a lot of production at that point so there's certain tricks when your filming in cold weather to wear like under lays, and we didn't have those under layers. So we were so bitterly cold during our pilot." Holland looked over at Crystal who was nodding along to her story, a smile breaking her lips when another memory struck Holland, "And our trailer caught on fire, hair and makeup, so we had to get the hell out of dodge."
Shelley grabbed the microphone from Holland a blank gleam in her eyes, "Shit, I was listening to you guys I haven't been thinking. I really enjoy, I'll say since it's who I basically started working with, Dylan O'Brien--" The crowd went up into cheers at just the mention of his name and Emma grinned, "Yeah, that was really my first taste of Teen Wolf and he was just a great scene partner, and obviously we had so much fun, to much fun. I think we laughed, you know,  mostly when you're not supposed to. But you know, our scenes always turned out different then I think either of us expected, and there was always some cool, weird thing that would happen, I don't know." Shelley waved off her answer, clearly having initially pulled it from her ass with being on the spot.
"Ellery, Emma, do you have anything?" The moderator asked so she knew if she could begin translating what what already been said.
"I like the scene in Motel California with Ro, Posey," Emma stressed, she had referred to him as Ro, or Rosie multiple times before, but it wasn't an obvious give away that she was referring to Tyler and that often slipped her mind. "When Ellie says she loves him, that was a sweet moment. I don't know that's the only one I can remember, I blocked the first three seasons out and then season six was overrun with spiders."
Ellery had started talking before she was even offered a microphone, her soft voice picking up when Dylan shoved on into her hands. "We had to do a scene in my episode, where we were like fighting. We had to like, get in each others face, I don't think you got it, but it was like really funny."
"Like real life." Shelley interjected.
"Yeah. Exactly! Cause we don't really fight," Sprayberry shrugged his shoulders, and Ellery rolled her eyes in annoyance, "Maybe a little bit, maybe sometimes. It was fun though, cause we actually felt like real siblings."
Dylan grabbed the microphone from Ellery, his lips pinching upwards in a smirk. "We never feel like we're siblings unless we're on a TV show." Emma rolled his words, knowing full well that Dylan adored his little sister more then anything else in the world, although she had an itching suspicion that her baby was beginning to take Ellery's place. "Yeah that was fun because they let us improve a lot which was cool. Um, my favorite scenes are the easy ones. No, uh, the i fell in a hole scene is really popular, I guess. That's one of my favorite scenes that i did film because that started a whole new part of my character, and that opened up the comedic side of my character because before that I was just playing angry, and emotional all the time, and it got kind of tiring, and if by doing that it allowed people to see my character in a different light..."
Emma had tried to follow Spray's words, but she drifted off in thought when he phone buzzed again. Was it Everly? She was sure Logan would have called or gotten into contact with her PA for the day, but she couldn't help but worry. She had taken Everly all over, but never had they been separated in a foreign country. Mom guilt was beginning to eat her up inside, but she forced a smile onto he lips and took a peak down at her phone. She breathed out a sigh, seeing that it was just a picture of Everly, her hands and knees pressed to the floor as she mastered the art of crawling.
"If there had been a season seven, would you have wanted to be in it?" The moderator translated. It was a unanimous answer instantly, heads bobbing and yes's being mumbled into the microphones.
"Do you have any new projects?"
Dylan looked around, seeing that everyone was busy in their own little side conversation so he began to mumble before finding an answer, "Do you guys know Hulu?"
"Light as a feather!" A girl yelled from the audience, attempting to do an American accent but sounding overly southern. Emma giggled, pushing a few strands of hair from her eyes before looking over towards Dylan.
He went over what it was, looking between Ellery and Ryan every few words. He never was good at press, which made Emma wonder why he ranted and raved about it after every convention.
"Anybody else?"
Emma accepted the microphone from Shelley, "I have a movie called After out next year. That's all I can say."
The stage went silent once more, the remaining actors around Emma all either happily our of work or actively looking. "Anyone else have new projects they would like to talk about?"
"No." Shelley exclaimed, "We're retired."
The moderator began to translate when Emma pinched her eyebrows together, turning towards Megan with a small frown, "You have a project." She nudged her gently, her lips turning upwards into a smirk when Megan began to fiddle with her fingers.
Megan had collected a rainstorm of applause for her new gig on Charmed, and Emma smiled, poking at the girl with a taunting grin. Megan laughed and the two fell into each other, whispering about nonsense while the panel moderator directed attention to Shelley.
"Ryan just reminded me about a role I've been on hold for, um, but it's to play a former beauty queen and former addict, so fingers crossed."
"True life story." He mumbled into the mic, watching Shelley's cheeks heat up.
"Miss Teen USA 2004." Emma projected, grinning widely when Shelley flipped her off. That had been a constantly running joke between them for years, she couldn't help but break away into little giggles and grins.
"It's based on my life." She admitted, "I'm not a former addict though." Shelley mimicked downing a glass of alcohol and Emma laughed loudly, mumbling an apology as she giggled into her knees.
The next question was about their preferred favorite season, and the audience had gone into a fit of sadness after Crystal answer 3b. Emma frowned as well, recalling the hardships they had all went through while filming and bringing to life such a traumatic event. Her own character, Ellie, had been a wreck for nearly an entire season to follow. It was an arc Emma loved playing out, having been in that position one to many times before facing the death of a multiple loved ones, but it had also put a pause on the independent women her character was becoming.
She had answered with season four, for that exact reasoning, and than handed the microphone off to Megan. She laughed when Megan answered with season 3b and 4, and then went on about how those seasons were the tipping point when the fandom hated her for taking Derek away.
Dylan grabbed the microphone from Ellery after she answered season 6b by default. "I swear to god, if you don't say season five!" She warned.
"I liked doing 6A and 6B." Emma gasped at his answer, leaning forward to grab at the the small multi-colored hard candies, pelting them towards him aggressively. They showered down on him and Ellery, and the latter of the pair laughed loudly.
Dylan threw the candy back at Emma, his smile wide and taunting as the girl flipped him off with a playful glare. "Why season six?" She demanded to know. "It was literally full of spiders."
DAY 2
Emma had gotten more sleep tonight, thankfully. She hadn't gone to the party with the rest of the cast, instead turning in for a quiet night in her hotel room with her baby and best friend. Logan had been more then happy to have Emma with her as the two of them watched Disney movies, hardly caring that although their excuse for watching children's movies was the baby in the room, Everly was more interested in her feet then she was Tinkerbell and Elsa.
She was in between Holland and Sprayberry for the group panel that morning, sipping on a Starbucks refresher while the moderator asked about the party. Logan had gotten up with Everly just before six thirty, surprising Emma with a few extra minutes of sleep and a refreshing wakeup call.
Dylan reached for the cup, eyeing the light pink liquid. He had ordered for Emma many times before, usually supplying the younger girl with a strawberry lemonade but her drink was evolving by the month it seemed. Emma rolled her eyes playfully, handing the cup to Dylan and watching as her quizfully took a sip. He scrunched his nose up at first, but went in for another gulp and decided it wasn't as bad as he initially thought.
When asked what their favorite line was, the answers were immediate without any need to think, "Deer." Shelley exclaimed.
"A girls gotta eat."
"I fell in a hole."
Emma couldn't help but giggle at the memory, grabbing the microphone from Dylan's hand, "Always." She turned to give the microphone to Holland, sending the redhead a wink considering that line was almost always directed towards her.
"What the hell is a Stiles."
"We protect those who cannot protect themselves."
Ellery's answer was lame, but in the blondes defense she had only made an appearance in one episode. Emma just grinned, to busy making weird faces at Dylan through her impressive fit of energy. She had slept great considering the three am feeding, as well as being in an entirely different country and a hotel bed.
The two of them weren't paying as much attention as they should've been, breaking out into grins when they finally pulled their attention from their moment of weird expressions to listen to the moderator.
Froy had answered the question first, not missing a beat when he lifted the microphone to his mouth and claimed that in his free time he liked to do auditions for other projects. Shelley praised his efforts, her and Emma sharing a mutual distaste for the audition process. Most actors hated auditioning, feeling unnatural and like a ridiculed prop, but it was a necessary evil most times. Emma was convinced there was no better news then when her agent calls and tells her about a role she would only have to chemistry read for.
"What we like to do?" Ryan asked, "I like to get drunk and play with cats." He easily shrugged at the answer and Emma had to hide her grin. She had witnessed a hungover Ryan playing with animals on many occasions, and the sight never failed to be adorable.
It was no shock to Emma when Ellery answered wrestling and Crystal answered cooking. It had been a few weeks since she'd managed to take the drive to Crystal's place, but almost every night she was sent a new recipe that she said she would try and almost never did. Crystal knew this of course, but she also knew although Emma lied through her teeth about commitment, she enjoyed the texts and thought of somebody having her on their mind.
"Reading, hiking, I like the outdoors, the mountains in particular. So, I'll do a lot of audio books when I hike, and I camp. I love camping, so that's usually where I am." Holland grinned before handing the microphone off to Emma.
"I love sleeping." She exclaimed, a goofy grin on her face at the idea. "Usually, I'm hanging out with my baby, or this goon. Sometimes I'll take a random dance class." She nudged a thumb at Dylan, the two of them practically roommates. It wasn't often that Emma spent the night alone with Everly, having to force Dylan back to his own house so there was at least a small reason for him to be paying monthly bills and utilities.
She handed the microphone to Dylan, smiling softly at him before taking another sip of her drink. The way Dylan was sitting looked either genius level comfortable or completely horrible for his joints. She wouldn't be surprise if in a few minutes he'd start complaining about his tailbone or his back, but for the moment he was completely spaced out thinking of an answer.
"Um, I like doing Muay Thai, and wrestling, and I like reading. And um, spending time with this goon." He returned the favor, his grin sheepish when he snapped his gaze to Emma who was playfully rolling her eyes and kicking at his leg with her vans covered foot. Neither one of them missed the way Shelley excitedly gasped at their answers. The pair couldn't go a day without Shelley asking if they'd made it official yet.
Emma was sure she wouldn't say no if Dylan asked, but the guilt of tying him down with a kid at twenty-years-old was a lot of process. She was still only nineteen, they had so much life to live.
Megan took the microphone from Dylan, "Exercising. I just got into yoga, I also just got into Barry's bootcamp which is some intense stuff, and I also just also, also just also, I'm really tired, um, I got into cooking as well, I got into hors d'oeuvres, just getting all into that. And yeah, auditioning. I hate it, but it's what I do in my free time."
"Lucky." Shelley exclaimed when she grabbed the microphone, Emma laughed, shaking her head at the girl. They'd spent many nights curled up on Shelley's bed, or in Emma's, just talking about what the future held for them creatively. It wasn't like their opportunities were limited, rather the work offered way dry. It was either to far fetched from themselves, to boringly similar, or a role to close to one they'd played before. "I love to dance, and uh, I mean, Spanish, duolingo my app."
Emma and Dylan were once again in their own world. They were energized on sleep, Dylan getting an extra boost from the coffee he sipped tenderly. Emma had never really gotten into drinking it, though Holland had tried on multiple occasions to pass her an americano while on set. Kicking at him a little to hard, Emma flinched when she missed his leg and instead rammed her foot into the leg of his chair.
Sprayberry doubled over in laughter whilst Emma pouted, attempting to nurse the ache in her toes but distracting herself with the Starbucks refresher in her hands. She hadn't been kicking him all that hard, just little taps that would become annoying, which was her goal, but apparently the chair had other opinions of her pestering.
The next question was about what era they'd like the live in. Emma's answer hadn't changed since she was seven years old, the nineties being a time she would have liked to experience, or at least remember, because she couldn't deny that she did technically live during them, although it was as an infant.
"The sixties." Shelley answered.
"Considering my ancestry, right now. For free." Megan exclaimed and Emma couldn't help but giggle, though the weight of her statement weighed true and was something Emma thought about too frequently. She was a person of color living in America, but despite her mixed heritage she wasn't called out as often as her dark-skinned colleges and friends, but that didn't mean she was free of any racist interactions.
"Now might be the best time." Dylan agreed, "Um, I would say the nineties, what no! Like the early nineties, when nirvana was a big thing. Like I wish I lived in Seattle when those bands were all around because they were all friends and I would have liked to be apart of a band like that. Now all music is shit. Let me know how it was, yeah." He laughed.
"Is it cool if I say the nineties too? I don't have good reasoning, I just want to know what the hype was about Blockbuster."
"Did you never go to a blockbuster?" Ryan asked, leaning forward in his chair so his voice traveled to Emma.
"No, it was a, here's Netflix, kind of thing."
"When were you born?" His eyes were wide in shock now, clearly interested in the upbringing Emma had considering she hadn't even visited a blockbuster.
"End of ninety-eight." Emma grinned at his exasperated face, "So I have probably been to a blockbuster, but not that I can remember."
Holland had a blissfully teasing glint in her green eyes when Emma turned towards her and offered her the microphone. It was a given to be picked at because of her age. Being twelve and working with twenty and thirty-year-olds just came with the teasing territory. She didn't mind though, usually because Holland always came to set the next day with random products from the nineties, claiming it was to further educate Emma, when really it was just to give her an excuse to buy them on amazon at two am.
The next question wasn't as light hearted, a girl standing up and asking what advice they had for somebody that's sad. Emma had figured out from personal experience that when a question like that is asked it's never for somebody else or conspired out of the blue, it's somebody that's going through a hard time and needs to hear something other then their own internal monologue.
Froy and Ryan had given inklings of advice whilst Emma was in her own head, trying to find words that could soothe. She had faced depressive episodes that lasted weeks and months, and she had felt sadness that lasted days. The two wore different faces, but often they were confused and shoved into the same category. It was a category that not many social outlets or people liked to touch upon.
"I think it is important to realize it is completely fine to feel sad, it's not a bad thing, in fact it only feels really bad when we try to actively push it away. Some of the most beautiful literature, and poetry, and art, and exploration has come from people feeling sad, and in fact if we didn't feel sad we wouldn't know what it would be to feel happiness. If we didn't have heartbreak we wouldn't know what extreme love would feel like, sadness is apart of our human experience and it's something we need to experience, and I think that when you accept okay, I feel sad today, and you don't try to actively push against it lightens it. I think it's just important to realize we actually need it, and it can provide great perspective if you let it, and learn from it."  Crystal spoke, her words hitting Emma deeply. She knew the feeling of denial all to well, and pushing aside what she was actually feeling had been a default reflex since before she could remember. It had gotten so bad at one point, there had been a time when she couldn't even name what happiness was. She had pushed everything away to the point where she felt numb.
Emma accepted the microphone from Holland after the girl shared, her heart heavy at the topic they were touching at, "I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder when I was eleven and depression when I was thirteen. I think what helped me the most was looking at it from the perspective that shit happens. I think it's so ignorant when people assume you're incapable of functioning with a mental illness, or being medicated is the only way to deal with it. Letting yourself feel anything that's not happiness has such a negative stigma in society, and you're fed bullshit by so many outlets. I just take a step back from it all. When I have the time to stay home, I stay home. Sometimes I sit in silence for days, and I don't talk to anybody. It's just about finding what works for you."
Emma didn't think twice about handing the microphone off to Dylan. She had never been opposed to talking about her own struggles, but it was a conversation controversial to some, and her emotions were so heavily guarded it was hard to express them at times. Sprayberry offered Emma a genuine smile before he tried to find his own remedies at the tip of his tongue.
She didn't really listen to much to what her other former cast-mates said, busy picking at the skin around her nails and starring off into the audience. Miniscule details were catching her attention, her heart beating in her ears. She wasn't good at being vulnerable, or listening to other people being vulnerable. She had gotten better at it, but it was still able to make her antsy.
That was the last question of the panel, and happily Emma accepted Dylan's hand when he helped her down the stage stairs. His touch had brought her out of the distracted daze she'd fallen into, but the topic still weighed heavily on her. She pulled her phone from the waistband of her pants, frowning curiously when she noticed that Logan hadn't sent her any messages.
When they rounded the corner to a green room, Emma was slightly taken aback to see Logan smiling sheepishly. Her baby was wide away, suckling on a pacifier and playing with her fingers, no sign of a nap in her wide blue eyes.
"You left with my phone." Logan held up the phone in her hands, proving to Emma that the phone she'd been checking all morning hadn't been her own. She hadn't even realized that the case and background was different, to caught up with everything else going on. "And I couldn't get into yours, because you changed the password, again."
Ellery and Dylan both made an advance for the baby at the same time, glaring at each other childishly. Everly didn't mind the attention though, soft coos falling from around her pacifier.
"Did she nap at all?" Emma sighed, switching Logan's phone for her own when she came close enough to the blonde. "I swear if you leave me with an overtired baby later, I'll have your head."
Logan rolled her eyes, "Princess here decided she wanted to sleep until ten this morning." Emma gaped at the news, looking over at her baby with a betrayed gleam. Dylan had her cuddled up into his chest, hands softly caressing's her thin and fragile hair.
"Ten?" Emma whined. She was lucky if Everly slept in past seven. She had quickly learned how to do basic house chores with a baby on in her embrace. "You going to head back to the hotel?"
Logan had mentioned a trip to the shops yesterday, so Emma wouldn't be surprised if she came back to the hotel later and her daughter had an entirely new wardrobe. Logan didn't even need to answer for Emma to roll her eyes. "Don't buy all of France, please." She bargained.
"I'll try not to babes." Logan reached for Everly, hardly bothered by the teary gleam she received. "Say bye to Mommy." Emma pressed a kiss to the babies head before Logan and Evie were gone again, off to spend too much money on tiny shoes and clothes.
Her mood had improved greatly, turning to give Dylan a wide grin and pull him over to the large stack of sweets. Shelley was already rummaging through them with Froy, extending a chocolate covered wafer to Emma the second she approached.
This was exactly the place she wanted to be.

Good Morning Star Shine (Bucky x Reader) Part 3
Part 1
Part 2
//Modern AU
That night
After nearly an hour of consoling the broken mother in his arms, Bucky had somehow coerced her up the stairs and into her bedroom with the hopes that she’d be able to get some sleep that night.
He had no idea how to take care of her on account of living on his own, but this was the first step to trying, right?
As he set her down onto her plush sheets, the bed creaking under her weight, he could hear her slow heartbeats in the pregnant silence that settled in the room.
“You gonna be okay on your own?” he awkwardly asked as he unlatched his arms from her.
“No...” she muttered, her voice thick and hoarse. She shifted her bloodshot eyes up to Bucky and gripped a part of his shirt so he’d stay at her level.
“So, you, uh...you want me to stay here?” he asked, wrapping his large hand around her wrist and tugging on it in hopes that she’d let him go.
Her head rose and fell in a sluggish nod as she released her grip on his shirt, getting the message from his soft tugging.
“Alright...” Buck sighed as he sat on the edge of the bed to slip off his shoes, (y/n) following his movements with owlish eyes. “I...I’m sorry if this is awkward-” she started.
“Don’t be.” he muttered, pushing his shoes to the side, “I’m happy to help in any way that I can.”
A small smile tugged at the corners of (y/n)’s lips at his response, but it appeared so swiftly one had to wonder if it had been there in the first place. Her mouth opened and closed as she tried to think of something else to say so they wouldn’t just sit there in awkward silence until one or the other fell asleep.
“Thank you,” she chose, scooting over to one side of the bed to give him space as he laid down beside her. What she was thanking him for went unspoken as he responded with a single grunt.
Nearly a foot of space separated the two as (y/n) turned on her side and shut her eyes, hoping for sleep to come soon.
Bucky, however, laid on his back as his eyes stayed glued to the ceiling, thinking about the weeks or months to come and how he would care for this broken girl.
At least he had a good stance on where to start.
...
Four months later
It had been a full sixteen weeks since the separation of mother and child had gone down, and Buck was proud to say that progress was made with (y/n)’s mental state.
What had begun with Bucky coercing her out of bed and making sure that she ate at least three times a day, morphed into (y/n) willingly getting up herself, and eating on her own.
She had yet to smile or laugh, but at least she was taking care of herself again, and that’s more than Buck could ask for.
During the progression of those months, Bucky had moved some things from his apartment into her home, seeing as he was practically living with her now. He didn’t mind though.
In fact, the thought of living alone once (y/n) got back on her feet was beginning to look less and less appealing as time wore on. He found himself looking forward to waking up next to her.
And somewhere in her muddled melancholy filled mind, (y/n) had begun to feel the same way. She felt a connection on an emotional level making her wonder what things he had gone through in his past for them to have a connection like this.
“What will it take to make you smile?” Bucky wondered, his chin resting on the heel of his hand. He currently sat in the kitchen with a cool cup of coffee resting on the wooden table before him, his eyes zeroed in on the woman who sat on her couch with a book in her lap.
It was a lazy Saturday afternoon, and while (y/n) retired to the couch after breakfast, Bucky stayed behind to clean up. Though not much cleaning had happened in the time that she left him. No, that time was spent with the cogs reeling in Bucky’s head as he tried to figure out a way to make (y/n) smile again.
“There has to be something...” he muttered.
Minutes passed as he continued thinking about what possible things he could do for her to make her happy. Even a small upturn of her lips would suffice.
A groggy idea came to his mind moments after that thought, “Huh, that could work...” he mumbled to himself as he thought further on his suggestion. “It’s worth a try...”
With a shrug of his shoulders, he swiftly made his way over the couch that (y/n) occupied, plucking the book from her hands once he arrived causing a slight sound of discontent to leave her lips.
“Get your nose outta that book, doll, and get your shoes on,” he started, tossing the book on the opposite side of the couch, “I’m taking you out tonight.” he said with a smirk.
(y/n) rose her brow as tilted her head up to meet his eyes, “What for?” she asked, crossing her arms.
“You’ve been sitting on this couch for four months now with the same set face and your nose shoved a book.” he said, “You’ve gotta get some fresh air.”
(y/n) only rolled her eyes and sighed as Buck tucked the thick book between his body and his arm in case she tried to reach for it. “C’mon, maybe it’ll help your mood if you weren’t so cooped up in this house...” he baited, squatting down to her level and resting the book on the floor beside him.
(y/n) bit her lip as she shifted her eyes to the ground, her mind reeling with thoughts. She then glanced up to meet his hopeful eyes and urging smile after a few moments of tense thinking.
“Alright,” she started with a sigh, pushing herself to get off of the couch, “where do you wanna take me?”
“How about we start with dinner and a movie?” he said, standing from his squatted position.
“Does that sound like fresh air to you?” she asked, making her way over to the hooks that held her keys and jacket. “We’ll just be cooped up in a different place.”
“Well, do you have any ideas?” Buck asked, making his way over to the hooks as well and helping her slide her jacket on her shoulders.
“...” she bit her lip as she slid her arms through the sleeves, trying to think of a place that they could go, “How about a walk through the city?”
Buck shrugged as he waltzed over to her, “Anything to get you out the house, doll.” he said, opening the door for her and leading her out of it.And off they went to the only park they knew, Central Park.
...
Hours had passed as the two aimlessly wandered through the park. Light conversation passed between them as well and with each step, they both opened up and their light banter shifted to far deeper topics that neither of them had expected they would go to. yet, it seemed that their connection grew stronger by the minute. By the time they were nearly done, the sun had gone down and dimmed stars dotted their way across the sky.
“I...I used to take Dylan on walks like this...” she muttered, her eyes slipping up to the stars. “Whenever he would get fussy and signing wouldn’t help, it was always this that got a smile onto his face...”
“Really?” Bucky asked a smile on his face at the nostalgic tone in her voice. It might not have been a purely happy one, but it was better than the melancholic tone of before. That was more than he could ask for.
She slid her eyes closed and breathed in the thick night air, “If I close my eyes and think hard enough,” she began, “I can almost feel the handles of the stroller in my hands.”
Bucky studied her as she continued on, her hands pushed out in front of her and her eyes shut. Her hands were curved as if she were holding the handle of a stroller before her. For a moment, it was as if the grief had lifted from her face. She looked alive.
She sighed as she let her hands drop to her sides and slid open her eyes, “Those days are gone now...” she muttered, her gaze now slipping to the ground, “The only things I have to push down this path are my own two feet.”
The grief had once again settled on her face as she wrapped her arms around her form, a sudden chill going up her spine, “I...I’m ready to go home now.” she muttered, her voice sounding thick.
Bucky’s sudden feeling of hope drained away once she uttered those words. But he hadn’t expected much happiness out of her. She lost her child only a few months before. Getting her out of the house was such a big feat for her that getting her to smile would be the equivalent to asking her to climb a mountain.
A sad smile spread onto his cheeks as he held out his hand for her to hold. “I’m proud of you, doll.” he said to her as she grasped his offered hand, “It takes an awful lot of strength to do what you did.”
She nodded in thanks, “Thank you for pushing me to do this...” she muttered.
“Anything to get a smile on your face, (y/n).” He answered back, though she hadn't smiled once this evening. He knew she almost let one slip when she was reminiscing about her son, and that was close enough to a smile for him. That was all that he needed.
...
Later on that night, while Buck lightly snored beside her on their now shared bed, (y/n) remained awake, thinking over the night that the two had, and the efforts he was going to to try and get her to smile. He had been caring for her these four months, and she couldn’t be more thankful.
Without him, she probably wouldn't be alive at that moment. When she lost her son, her mind was shattered along with her heart. He is single-handedly raising her from her deep pits of grief, all out of the kindness of his heart. No one has even cared about her that much to do something like that for her.
He was like an angel sent to her. And she couldn’t be more grateful for his efforts and care. With that final thought as her eyes stayed glued to the stars, a light feeling of happiness washed over her, lingering for a moment. She finally had someone in her life that cared for her, deeply and truly.
And for the first time in four months...she smiled.

Chapter 133
Tumblr media
Cammie
I sit on the edge of the bed. I'm trying to be patient with these people but it's been 3 hours since I had my baby and I haven't even touched him. They got me on some fucking pain medication that I didn't ask for. I'm ready to fucking snap. The nurse walks in with a piece of paper.
"Great news." she says. "Dr. Polk has approved Dylan to go into the nursery. The nurses were working as fast as possible to sterilize everything and setup the washing station. Once we have you in there Mrs. Neverson everyone else can be scrubbed and enter. The doctor would like for it to only be 2 people in the room. He says not counting you Cammie as you probably won't be leaving out. And anyone under 12 needs to be approved before entering."
"You said the room is ready?" Trey says standing up.
She smiles. "Yes, no baby at the moment. It's ready."
He makes a face. "So you saying all this for what?"
"I..." the nurse looks at the paper. "I need Mrs. Neverson to come with me to the room so I can take her through the steps."
"Why the hell can't we both go?"
I stand up. "She just told you, Tremaine. You not going to be in there constantly."
"The hell if I'm not for 2 fucking days."
"Oh now your damn medicine wants to check out. Show your ass in this hospital."
Trey thinks about it then he gets a little sad. He needs to stop with that fucking shit. Pouting like he a little kid. I put my hands on my hip then look at the nurse. She is reading over her paper trying to avoid eye contact. He done made the nurse feel uncomfortable about her fucking job.
"How long will it take for you to explain this to me?"
"The doctor will go over some things with you. He will be there. He specifically said that he needs only you right now."
I walk over to Trey. "You don't take anymore of those pills or whatever the hell you were on earlier. Went from sugar to shit."
"I'm ready to see my son."
"I'm going to talk to the doctor not see him. We'll see him at the same time." I say kissing him. "Walk me down there?"
He starts walking forward not saying anything else. I know he feeling like I'm feeling. It's fucking annoying. Him acting shit making me act normal. I was ready to go off on this lady the second she came in here. We follow her to another floor. It had a stronger stench of clean. There were rooms with curtains drown back. Most of the rooms in this section were empty. We stop at a room that was shut off. She stands at a sink.
"It is good that you both are here." she says pointing to the sink. "You put your foot here to start the water. Pull up your sleeves or remove your jacket. Everything is single use. Soap towels all go in the trash. Mrs. Neverson you can be the example. Start with the foot pump."
"We have to do this each time we enter the room?"
"Yes." the nurse says.
I start washing my hands and arms. I've been through this before. Trey watches the timer as it ticks. I feel like I'm scrubbing my fucking skin off. The nurse talks about the process and how its important to keep infection down. After I finally rinse my hands I go into the nursery. How cute is this? It is very similar to the nursery that Trey designed at home. I touch the blanket then start crying. I want to see my baby.
"Mrs. Cammie." the doctor says. "I know. I'll be quick. Step with me through this door. That is the entrance for guest. This will be the nurse's entrance. You will still have a personal nurse monitoring the baby at all times or to assist you with anything. We ask that you don't allow anyone to pick the baby or do too much touching. It is still flu season. In a couple of days we will go over breastfeeding techniques if he is feeding well. Are you going to pump?"
"Yes."
He nods good. "Step this way. They are making an exception for this arrangement here. You said your toddler wanted to come in so I told the nurses 3 people. You being 1. I want to show you, with permission from this loving mother, some quick tips."
We walk into another room. Sitting in the room is a white woman and her baby. The baby had a lot of tubes and things running from its tiny body. It was really really tiny. I started to cry once again. The doctor touches my back then explains to me about the feeding tube and possibilities of extreme weight loss. It was hard to listen to him go on. I just want to see my baby. The lady hugs me telling me how she had been here for 2 weeks now and how i helped her be able to spend more time with her baby. The hospital didn't have this available until they made arrangements for me. That made me smile. Afterwards we walk back to the room. Trey is sitting down on the chair. He stands up.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I met this other lady who we helped. She has a setup like this now. Thanks to your fucking demands."
He cracks a little smile. "You will sound better when you start to appreciate my demands."
I start crying. "I hope I don't have to stay long."
"Let's not focus on that. You will be together."
"Excuse me, doctor." A nurse says rushing in the room.
She starts moving things around then she disappears. A few seconds later she is back in the room carrying some stuff. She pauses then dashes out of the room. I look at Trey. She had seen him and paused. He is bothered by it. I gasp and spin around from Trey. I saw the bassinette out the corner of my eyes. They will it in covered with a thick blanket that matched the room. I step forward then Trey moves me back out of the way.
"He is so dark." Trey says when they remove the blanket.
"Tremaine, don't be stupid. He has a blue light on him."
Trey starts laughing. "I thought the pillow was just blue for boy."
"Please shut up." I say stepping closer.
"Give them a second, Jay."
The nurse pauses again. She steps back out the way watching us. There were two other nurses hooking stuff up. Another a few minutes they all step away from the baby. Dr. Polk, who real name is too hard to remember, gives up and looks over everything. He gestures to me to come over. At least that's what i got out of it.
"Give me a few hours before you hold him. Remember keep touching at a minimum. One additional visitor at a time. I know you understand. I won't hassle you any longer. I'll be hanging around until I get those results."
"Are you going to be on call? How does this work with you not working for this hospital?"
"I'll be around. Helping out. That was one of my patients I had transferred here. I have plenty to do. I'll be on call yes. Within minutes away."
I touch his foot through the box. He draws his foot up into his body. After a few seconds he let's out a high pitch angry cry then gets silent. The doctor comes back into the room. He stares in our direction.
"You are annoying him." Trey says touching his hand. "Hey, Caden."
"Oh shut up." I say touching his leg.
Once again he draws his leg up and makes the noise again. The doctor walks all the way over this time. He smiles from ear to ear as Caden slowly stretches his legs back out. He grabs Trey's finger then let's it go. How fucking cute is he? Once again I start crying. I can't believe this little man gave me all this trouble. His little fussy butt was worth it all. He opens his eyes just a peep then closes them again. When I touch him he opens his eyes again.
"I'm in love all over again." Trey says.
"Isn't he so perfect?"
Trey smiles hard. "He came just at the right time. Right on time."
"Too early."
"But right on time. I have 2 days to spend with him. I'm not in Europe. I didn't miss it. I was so worried about not being here. He is perfectly on time."
I kiss Trey. "Yeah, he is."
He kisses me back. "You perfect."
"Duh."
"Yeah." he chuckles.
Tumblr media
  Trey
"Hello."
"Hey, Boo." Nicki sings.
I have a mind to tell her that I'm not coming to Europe. Instead I tell her Ill call here and hang up. Lane grabs my hand. Mama is standing outside of the room waiting. They are going to let Lane come in first since Ma already held the baby and they all can see the baby from outside of the room. Chris said he won't come in. I don't think Rollie or Forrest coming in either.
"Hey, Lane." Cammie says taking out her phone. "Come here."
"Mommy, I hungry for chips."
She kisses his head. "I don't have any chips. Let me show you something."
He gets excited. "Where?"
"Look there's nothing in my stomach." She says pushing her swollen stomach.
"Where?"
I lift him up in the air near the baby. "It's your baby brother Caden."
"No." Lane says then starts crying really hard.
"Lane, shhh." Cammie says.
He only screams louder. Caden jumps moving his hands to his chest and lets out a loud cry. Lane stops crying looking at him really hard. Cammie reaches into the bassinette touching Caden's cheek.
"Okay, we are all okay. Big brother Lane scared you."
"It not a brother." Lane tries to kick the bassinette.
"Enough of that disrespectful behavior." Cammie says calmly.
Lane starts pouting. His feelings are hurt. "No, Mommy."
"Fine, Lane. You being mean."
"No." he pouts. "No be mean. You being mean a me."
Cammie grabs his hand and snatch it towards the baby. Lane has no choice but to touch him. He touches Caden's stomach then pull his hand back. He hides his face in my shoulder and starts sobbing. Someone isn't ready for this change suddenly. I pat his back. He looks at Cammie to see if she is paying attention to him. Of course she isn't. I clear my throat. She looks up but Lane looks away from her. She looks away at the baby.
"Lane." she says a few minutes later.
"Hey, Mommy." he says really fast.
She giggles. "All you thinking about is your daddy. All week it's been daddy."
"Mommy, what that?" Lane points to Caden.
"A baby."
"Caden?"
Cammie smiles really hard. "Caden."
Lane leans forward. "I touch it."
"I feel like staying instead of going on tour."
"Tremaine, I would love you to be you made a commitment."
"I made a more permanent one to you."
She touches my hand then starts to say something. Lane suddenly moves towards the baby more. I snatch his body back as he reaches for the baby's face. Cammie watches us confused about what happened.
"That... On he face." Lane stumbles.
"This." Cammie points to his nose.
Lane looks the baby over confused. "It hurt he nose?"
"No it doesn't hurt his nose. Caden is sick Lane. He needs to have it so he can get better."
"It not hurt the baby?"
"No."
He stares at it more. "What that?"
"Lane, I already told you. It helps him get better. It's Caden, your brother."
"I said no. No thank you."
I chuckle. "Let's go get some chips from Grandma."
He is still staring at Caden. "I not get my nose."
"Oh gosh." Cammie says. "No, Lane. You not getting it put in your nose. You can breathe. You are not sick."
"I not?"
Cammie smiles. "No, big boy."
"I Mommy baby."
"Yes, you are my baby."
He is happy about that. He forgets about the thing being in Caden's nose. I take him to the door where Ma was sitting. Her, Buggiz, and Cammie's Mama. What's Cammie Mama name? Damn I hope I never have to call her by name. Lane runs to Ma.
"Where my chips, Ma?" he says touching her chest.
"Baby, I don't have chips." she smiles at him a little weary eyed. "Came up here looking like my baby just now. Let's go find some chips."
Lane tilts his head at her. "I you baby?"
She smiles. "Yes."
"Can I come in?" Cammie's Mom asks.
"Yeah. Come on in." I say.
She was already scrubbed down and dressed in hospital gear. I glance over at Lane leaving. This is unreal to me. My oldest. I have two babies. I wanted a girl but the excitement I have is so overwhelming that I feel like I got exactly what I wanted. It appears as though I wanted a boy. Two strong boys. I walk to Cammie. I talked to someone that wasn't my baby's doctor. She said that this is standard for a premature baby but my baby is strong unlike a lot of babies. Something my doctor wouldn't tell me and can't tell me. She says Cammie carried the baby well and there is nothing we could have done to make this play out different.
"I said girl. Now we have to try for another one." I whisper in Cammie's ear.
"Trema... Hey, Mother. What a surprise?" Cammie says. "His is fat for a preemie."
Cammie's mother smiles. "Oh but he is so adorable. Who cares how small he is. It makes him cuter."
Cammie touches his foot. "I want to hold him so bad."
"You better go ahead and find a class. Heck, you have money to bring a teacher to you. Your sister was 2 weeks early and extremely underweight. I always say 2 weeks. She was 36 weeks. She was so small."
"So you experienced this?"
She smiles really hard. "Cammie stayed in the hospital for 3 weeks without me. I had to get my sister in law to donate milk. I was so sick after having her."
"After?" I ask.
"Oh yes." she says touching Caden. "He is so cold. They need to turn this heater up. Trey would you mind telling them. His little hands are cold."
Cammie scrunches her face up. "He doesn't feel cold to me."
"Let me see your hand. You may feel just like him." She says taking Cammie's hand. "Just as I expected. Ask for some blankets. Why aren't you in bed?"
"I'm tired of being in bed."
Mama Cammie puts her hands on her hips. "You still need to act as though you are pregnant. Your bed doesn't just bounce back into place. I was out of work for 4 months threatened with a hysterectomy."
I look at Cammie. She cuts her eyes at me then sucks her teeth. Oh she know I'm about to pester her with doing right after hearing from her mother. I'm glad she found out about this. Whoever told her.
"How did you find out Cammie was in labor?"
"You are famous."
I walk to the nurse's station outside. "This... Can you turn up the baby's incubator? His hands are cold."
"You... Trey Songz." she looks around. "Oh. Sorry. Oh my gosh. Something told me to say yes to the department change. I have to get the doctor's permission. One moment."
"Is there a setting that can turn the room heat up?"
She enters the room. "Oh, gosh. Cammie."
I look at Cammie. "Yeah, it kinda works like that."
"They must have been too busy to turn the heat on." she does what we could have done. "It is a little cold in here. Anything else?"
"Blankets." Mama Cammie says.
The nurse nods her head really fast. "Yes, okay. I'll check on the incubator temperature. I'm Stacey, by the way. If you need anything else."
"See." Mama Cammie says. "That's how I knew. Someone at the church was talking about Chris Brown leaving a concert or something for an emergency. Mommi called someone to confirm."
"Well that's something."
Mama Cammie was all smiles. "I'm going to take a picture of his little head. That's all the church needs to see of him."
I chuckle. "You already know the famous life."
"I don't have time to explain my business to everyone." she says with an attitude towards the thought.
"Mh." Cammie chuckles. "A bed does sound good."
I look around. "Something in here is supposed to layout."
"Don't ask that nurse. She is an annoying one."
"Mama, I'm sure she can hear you." Cammie snaps.
"Mhmm." her mother says.
I smile. Cammie tries to separate herself from her mother but they do similar stuff. Cammie is annoyed very easily by her mother's presence.

The Sims 4: New Game Patch (January 12th. 2017)
Remove all MODS and Custom Content before updating your game!
Update: 01/12/2017 – PC Version 1.26.96.1010 / Mac Version 1.26.96.1210
Hey Simmers and Simmodlers,
What’s New?
Toddlers.
Wait you skipped right to the what’s ne… what the whaaat?! Toddlers? Toddler toddlers… toddlers? Um, did you just say toddlers?
Perhaps. But the long standing ‘no talk’ of toddlers talk may be toddler blocking me. And, as such I can neither confirm nor deny their tiny toddler toddling presence in this release. I can however, say that any resemblance to a toddler in this toddler release is purely todd-idental… ler.
I am also required by the Toddler Coalition for the Betterment and Care of Toddlerhood to provide a few disclaimers:
For you and your toddler’s safety, please keep all toddlers at least 5 feet from all toddler messaging about toddlers.
In case of fire do not break glass, but grab the nearest toddler and exit the building in an orderly fashion.
Also, for a toddler lasting more than 9 days, turn aging on.
Batteries not included, so feed your toddler.
For identification purposes, this is a toddler: o>-<
Once safe, please take a moment to find the toddlers parents if the toddler was not yours.
Not actual size
Well whew! We’ve just had 24 toddlers already born in these release notes (make that 25). I feel there may be more toddlers on the way… so Woohoo*!
*Woohoo will not directly produce a toddler, but provide for the groundwork for a future toddler.
Argh! So… TELL ME ABOUT TODDLERS already!!!
Ok, ok alright. All things Toddlers…
Let’s start with
“How do you get a Toddler”?
Add your toddler in Create a Sim!
You can add them to a new or existing household through Create a Sim. And customize them as you would any other Sim:
Ok, now that the Caregiver bit is over with… let’s get into the other customization options.
Select their voice, gender, and ASSIGN A RELATIONSHIP
Sorry for the caps, but this is kind of important. Toddlers have a special relationship with caregivers.
Mothers, brothers, fathers, sisters, or anyone you choose via the in game interaction Adopt as Caregiver (found under the toddlers Help… interaction menu) are caregivers.
Being a Caregiver will ensure that the caregiver Sim cares for the toddler, while other Sims may be less inclined to answer the crying calls of your average toddler.
8 new traits to pick from!
Presets for the various toddler body and head parts to assist in your customization, as well as the same ability to modify the body and face parts that other Sims have.
All the same skin tones as adults (yes, Aliens too!)
Plenty of Styled Looks to choose from.
And of course all the usual stuff…
Angelic, Fussy, Silly, Charmer, Independent, Wild, Clingy, and Inquisitive
Does it make sense that that toddler wears an alien sized diaper?
No, no it doesn’t. But, it’s really cute!
Full body outfits, tops, bottoms, socks, leggings, and shoes.
Glasses, hats, hairs (and hair colors), freckles, and teeth.
Did we talk about the new teeth yet?
Yes, teeth for all ages! Head in to Create a Sim, click on your Sims head, click the Face category, and then Teeth to customize your Sims smile.
I like the braces.
Adopt your toddler!
Choose the Household… Adopt option on the computer, to adopt your very own toddler!
They come fully toddler-ized, ready for your snuggles.
Or, if you want to do things the old fashioned way, age up your baby!
It starts with… look it’s a birds and bees thing. There’s a flower, some pollen, and the bee… um, go ask your mom.
So, now you have a toddler…
How do you care for them?
Bathe, and Bubble Bathe them. Be aware of the possible splash back.
With a Potty Chair they can Go Potty, and Ask for Potty Help… or just use their diaper.
Sleep, Nap, Ask to be Read to Sleep or Tucked in, Sit and Chat all on a Toddler Bed.
Toddlers prefer the high chair where they can Ask for Food or Drink, and of course Eat.
Be hugged, snuggled, talked or played with, or listened to.
And of course, non-toddlers will have to Clean the Potty, and Change the Diaper.
But they may find their food more fun than edible.
And as they do ‘things’ they learn skills like communication, movement, thinking, imagination, and potty.
And their caregivers can be available to mentor and help them along.
But they want to have fun to, right?
Of course, and there are many ways for toddlers to have fun, or… not.
They can cry, laugh, yell, and throw a tantrum. Or babble in the mirror, tell stories, talk about dinosaurs, princesses, superheroes, parties, art, the day, their favorite animals, or just Ask Why… over and over and over.
Or play in things, find out what that is, splash in the toilet (hopefully you are a neat Sim), ask to be picked up, or talk to strangers (stranger danger).
Maybe they want to watch toddler videos, play Simshape or Blicblock Baby, draw with llama on the Wabbit Tablet. Or build a tower, study shapes, or ask others to help them build and study with the Nesting Blocks.
They can hit, hug, or talk to their giant stuffed animals.
Read or ask to be read a toddler book.
Look at flash cards, and learn animals, basic needs, letters, or objects.
Play with the toybox toys, and the dollhouse. Dance and listen to music (including the new Lullaby and Kids radio station).
Just to name a few…
Woah, ok… um, I hate to ask but can toddlers…
No, toddlers do not die. They are fireproof.
No, no... NO! I wasn’t… look, I just wanted to know can toddlers…
Yes, they can climb stairs, run and walk – but you’ll have to improve their movement skill.
Stop that, I just wanted to know can toddlers do anything else?
Yes, toddlers can…
…be your little sister or brother, son or daughter. Try your patience. Be loving but a handful. They can take all your time, or be ignored. They can travel with you, or go to daycare. Or you can stay at home, and hire a nanny. They can provide special moments for you and your Sims. And they can grow and learn, as they age up into children, teens, young adults, adults, and eventually elders. They can’t die, but they can be taken away. And ultimately, they can be part of your Sims family, and your stories.
Anything else?
Yes, in addition to toddlers, and I strongly suggest you pick up a couple of these if you intend to have a toddler, you can find the following items in Build Mode under the Kids Room sort (just click on the 3 blocks in the image):
2 Toddler Beds
3 High Chairs
Wabbit Tablet
Nesting Blocks
Chomper the Devourer toy box
A toddler sized Dollhouse
A Bookshelf and 12 toddler books
2 Potty Chairs
6 new toy box toys (bus, kitty, bear, ducky, butterfly, and Tentacle Tom)
And…
2 Curtains, 5 wall decals, a light for floors and a light for ceilings, a dresser, a rug, a wall shelf, an end table, a wall sculpture, a living chair, 4 decorated toddler doors, AND 7 walls and 2 floors.
That sure is a lot. Did you address any issues?
Just a couple, er some, er what is five in the verbal shorthand? And is couple really short for two? It has three extra letters. I’m so confused…
You can now use the Design Tool on a bassinet containing a baby, because sometimes your baby just doesn’t match your room.
Walls can now be built along all four edges of penthouse lots, rather than just three.
We addressed an issue that could cause the game to freeze while playing the Doctor Career or when hiring a Nanny in some languages.
Confident children will no longer get a whim to practice pick-up lines.
We addressed an issue that could cause doors to be stuck ajar.
And you can’t change the baby. Put down the baby safe paint and brush, and just back away.
*childish moment* Playing doctor, hehe.
Your door is ajar.
No, it’s a door.
And on that toddler’ish joke, that’s the update folks. In the time it took you to read these release notes, the following toddlers came to be in the Sims…

• A Christian might drink only ginger ale at the tavern bar, but there he is already on the way to drinking beer and whiskey. The girl who attends a ball but never dances a step, will soon surrender her body to the lustful embrace of every casual male acquaintance as other dancers do. – John R. Rice • After all, Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did. She just did it backwards and in high heels. – Ann Richards • And then there were cats, thought Dog. He’d surprised the huge ginger cat from next door and had attempted to reduce it to cowering jelly by means of the usual glowing stare and deep-throated growl, which had always worked on the damned in the past. This time they had earned him a whack on the nose that had made his eyes water. Cats, Dog considered, were clearly a lot tougher than lost souls. He was looking forward to a further cat experiment, which he planned would consist of jumping around and yapping excitedly at it. It was a long shot, but it just might work. – Terry Pratchett • Are you not aware that my profession involves beating the living hell out of some poor-unfortunate wearing nothing more than a pair of green lycra knicks? I’m practically naked each time I step in the ring. But I tend to cover up my privates in public. No one likes ginger pubes. – Sheamus • As a dancer I couldn’t outdance Ginger Rogers or Eleanor Powell. As a singer I’m no rival to Doris Day. As an actress I don’t take myself seriously…I’m the girl the truck drivers love. – Betty Grable • As Gloria Steinem said about Ginger Rogers: She was doing everything Fred Astaire was doing, just doing it backwards in high heels. Well, Southern women are doing and enduring what other women have to do and endure, but (at least until recently) they had to do it in heels and hats and white gloves and makeup and a sweet smile, with maybe a glass of bourbon and a cigarette to get them through the magnolia part of being a steel magnolia. – Michael Malone

Fireheart, Brightpaw isn’t dead!” Fireheart spun around and raced across the clearing to crouch beside Brightpaw. One ear had been shredded, and there were huge claw marks scored across her muzzle. – Erin Hunter

It tastes the way I imagine the Far East must taste. – Peter Høeg • He’s of the colour of the nutmeg. Talking About Emotions
@itslostgirlmisty
[Dylan]
Dylan brought Sophie with him to go and see if Misty wanted to let Hero have a playdate with her. He smiles as he knocked on her door with Sophie in his arms.
[Misty]
Misty heard the knock on the door and expected to see Nibs but was quite surprised to see Dylan. She leaned against the wall of her door and smirked, “Nibs will kill you if he sees you here.”
[Dylan]
"What why? I just came with Sophie so she can hang out with Hero remember? We both talked about this?" He asks while seeing her leaning against the door.
[Misty]
“Yeah that was before I basically told my husband I loved you. Now if he finds out you are here that might not go over well. Besides I highly doubt I’m allowed to be around my son by myself like this.”
[Dylan]
"Sorry, what? That's not a thing. I took those memories away from you." Dylan asks while trying to figure out what was going on. "Are you okay? Something seems off."
[Misty]
“You did take them away but when I turned my emotions off that compulsion went away. Don’t worry, I didn’t tell him we fucked or made love. Though I think he got it without me saying.” She laughed.
[Dylan]
“You remember that? All of that...um...look you aren’t mad I took them away are you?” He asks while looking at Misty. “I know you love him and all so I took them away because I knew it would make you upset to realize what you have done.”
[Misty]
“Yeah I remember it all.” She said before looking at him. “Dylan I don’t care. So you apologizing doesn’t mean anything because I don’t care. And when my emotions come back I won’t remember again so it's a win win for you.”
[Dylan]
“Oh okay, so then should I come back later then when they are back on or...um…” He asks while looking at Sophie who was getting fussy in his arms.
[Misty]
Misty shrugged, “I don’t care, it’s up to you.” She replied resting her head against the door.
[Dylan]
Dylan thought about it, “How about I take Sophie home and then I come back and we can discuss what happened…” He went home and dropped Sophie off before returning back to the castle.
[Misty]
“Sure Dylan.” She said before going back into her room once he left. When she heard a knock on the door again she figured it was Dylan. “It’s open.”
[Dylan]
Dylan opened the door before stepping inside the room, “So why exactly did you turn off your emotions? I thought things were going good between you and Nibs?”
[Misty]
“I wanted to kill myself and he told me that I couldn’t and asked me to turn my emotions off. I mean there’s more but that’s pretty much it.” She answered.
[Dylan]
“More to it? What do you mean?” He asks while looking at her.
[Misty]
“Just problems in our marriage that Nibs promised to fix a long time ago and never did. Things we both haven’t gotten over. It’s been building up I guess.”
[Dylan]
“So he is the one that is messing everything up? Why not just leave him then?” He asks. “Find someone who understands you and can actually treat you the way you want to be treated. Someone who understands what you are going through and how you are feeling.”
[Misty]
“I don’t want that Dylan. I didn’t even want to fix it. I just wanted to die, but I can’t say no to him. Since the beginning...I just have never been able to say no. So I agreed and now I just have to trust he has some type of plan or I am stuck like this.”
[Dylan]
“But why die? Why not find something to live for at least? Surely there is something that you have in your life that can help you through something like this?” He asks her.
[Misty]
“What Dylan? Please tell me? This castle? It’s taken away a lot more than it’s given. I have lost multiple children. The children I do have are, no offense, kind of a hot mess, and my husband doesn’t know how to love me. So I don’t really have a lot going for me.”
[Dylan]
“Well I mean you have a best friend here that made you feel loved even if it was for a short while. I am not going to go anywhere either so if you need me for anything I would be here for you. I have been through similar situations as you have and so I think that that would give both of us some type of advantage when it comes to having to talk to someone right?”
[Misty]
“Wow, yeah that is what I signed up for when I say I do. I was like, `` I will love you until I grow tired of it.” Misty said rolling her eyes. “No Dylan you don’t get it. We are not the same, our situations are not similar. You have no idea what I am going through.”
[Dylan]
‘Well I know what it is like to marry someone who doesn’t seem to appreciate you. That is what led to the divorce you know. Sometimes it can be for the better, it allows you to find someone better and move on. Just because things aren’t working out for right now doesn’t mean that by leaving this world it would make everything better. What about your kids? Hope already almost lost her mother once, you really think she could go through that again?”
[Misty]
“Oh right like who? You?” She asked before hearing him bringing up Hope. “Oh right, shit. I have to deal with that. Thank you for reminding me. Do you want to come?”
[Dylan]
“You put her in the dungeon, I know about that. I am sure Nibs already took care of that. Hope is pregnant after all and needs to be home to take care of the kids anyway. You can always deal with her later, don’t you think she has been locked up enough Misty?” He asks before running his fingers through his hair. “Look I get you might be trying to prove a point but why not prove it after she has the kid because you know, she might get all stressed and that could be back for the kid. I know that I am the last person to say anything about caring about kids but it's the truth.”
[Misty]
“Says the person who raped me while I was pregnant with TJ just because Jack told you to do it.” She laughed as she got out of her bed. “Are you coming Dylan or not?”
[Dylan]
“Okay really? Fine, you are right, yeah I guess I will come with than.” He responds before following her out of the room.
[Misty]
Misty went down to the dungeon and saw all the guards immediately look away from her. She went to go see if Hope was still in the dungeon and though she saw Hope she knew something was wrong. Zach wasn’t harassing her about fearing or even staying by the dungeon. She asked for the key and opened the dungeon before going over to Hope and pulling on her hair. “Fucking Nibs. I am going to fucking kill him.” She growled before walking out.
[Dylan]
Dylan watched as Misty goes down to the dungeon. "Uh...wait are you...I mean shouldn't we slow down and not jump to conclusions. As much as I hate Nibs maybe there is a reasonable excuse as to why Hope isn't actually here. Maybe she went to the doctor or something?"
[Misty]
“That’s why that fucking guard was knocking on my door so fucking early. I am literally about to lose my shit. Move Dylan.” She said before heading back upstairs and walking to Nibs’ office.
[Dylan]
"Wait wait wait. Wasn't Hope pregnant Misty. Think about it maybe she needed to see the doctor to make sure the baby was okay. Misty stop and think about it. There is probably a reasonable explanation." He tries to reassure her.
[Misty]
Her eyes flashed black as she turned to look at Dylan. “I fell for it. That asshole and his sweet words, I actually believed he was on my side. Just this once. And I find out that not only was he lying to me but he wasn’t going to just tell me he let her go. I am so fucking done with him.”
[Dylan]
"That doesn't sound like him. He was probably going to tell you at some point you know. It's not like he would keep something like this from you if there wasn't a good reason behind it."
[Misty]
“Are you actually on Nibs’ side?” She asked in disbelief before scoffing. “You know what, I will be so happy when I don’t remember saying I loved you. Fuck off Dylan.” She said before turning to go find Nibs.
[Dylan]
“No I am not on his side I am on the side of your daughter. If you threw her in the dungeon that means something serious must have happened and if your daughter isn’t there that means something must have happened. Put two and two together Misty, I know you are smarter than this. Think about it? Why keep a pregnant woman in a cell? You probably would have forgotten about her if I never brought her up anyway. Besides your emotions are off why do you care so much?"
"You know I will always take your side because I don't think Nibs deserves you. You know I could treat you better than him now that I have changed but yet you stayed with him for some reason. It's like your thing you say you will leave then you don't. You say you won't go back to him you do. I don't know why you don't just leave him and come stay with me. I am sure I could get your emotions on if you don't think he can."
[Misty]
“God I fucking care because I love him Dylan. I love how he says hi, I love how he acts like this big bad wolf but he is the sweetest person I have ever met, I love that he knows that when I’m sick I like wearing his pajamas for no reason other than that I like wearing them. I love how his ears pop up because I sneeze or laugh or moan, shit I love that he is a horrible parent but an amazing dad. I have loved him since I met him...and he will never ever love me the way I love him.” She said as her eyes flashed multiple colors before settling on her normal brown color.
“I care so deeply about you Dylan, but you are not Nibs.” She said as tears ran down her face. “I have to go. I can’t be here anymore.”
[Dylan]
"Misty wait.." He takes her hand and turns her to face him. "As much as I hate him, he does love you. You know when I was coming around the castle somewhat regularly when I was with Jack, the guards would be complaining about how much he would talk about you and how much he loves you during meetings? He would be asking them about what surprises you might like because he always wanted your approval? He was so worried about trying to make you happy and his face would always light up when someone mentions you. He might not do these things around you, but he does love you. Hell he even begged you to turn off your emotions instead of dying. He loves you and was willing to take that risk to get you back, surely that means something."
[Misty]
“I can’t keep hurting myself Dylan. Loving Nibs hurts. Anyone that tells me that I can’t say they are lying but how do I know if you are even telling the truth. Nibs isn’t like that with me. He doesn’t do any of that. Not around me. And I am too fucking sad to wait around for Prince Charming to show up and save me. I’m sorry Dylan. Take care of yourself, okay?” She said before taking her hand away and screaming for help. “I’m so sorry.” She said before seeing the guards. “Lock him up, he was trying to hurt me.” She said before leaving knowing Dylan wouldn’t be able to follow her now and she could go before Nibs found her.
[Dylan]
"Misty stop stop. This isn't what you want to do. You know I could take these guards down easily. Please I can't lose you like this. You are the only person I have Misty please." He pleads as his eyes filled with tears. "Please don't kill yourself Misty so many people love you just please don't do this. I am begging you." He pleads as the guards try to take him away but he easily takes two down before running after her.
"Misty, please just stop. Please, I know I am not him and that is fine but please just don't do something like this because this isn't something you can undo. You know he will try to bring you back. He would be bringing back a monster. It would destroy everything you have worked so hard for just please. Please just come stay with me and Sophie for a bit. I can try to figure something out just please I can't lose you. I already lost everyone else just please not you too."
[Misty]
Misty got pretty far before seeing Dylan run after her. “Dylan stop.” She said as she looked behind him to see more guards running after him. “Stop seriously. Stop. No, you need to stop. You...you just got your emotions back and need to focus on your family. I am not your problem and I never have been. So just leave me alone.” She said tearing herself away from him and continuing to leave.
[Dylan]
Dylan uses his magic to freeze the guards from coming after him before chasing after her. "Misty none of it means anything if I don't have you in my life. Listen, you have saved my life but it would be for nothing if you are gone. You are right you aren't my problem. You are the love of my life and I want what is best for you but doing what you are thinking of doing isn't what is best. I have been in the position where I debated trying to kill myself because I thought everyone was better off without me. It broke my family and I don't want it to break yours. Please Nibs had his chance to try to bring you back from this just...please let me try. And if at the end you want to still...I will help you figure something out okay? I promise. Just please. Let me take some of your pain. Let me try to fix what he couldn't."
[Misty]
Misty stopped and turned to look at Dylan as he talked and she shook her head, “I am unlovable Dylan. Everyone that has ever loved me has gotten hurt. They lose themselves and then they end up falling out of love with me. You have a daughter you need to think about. Don’t hurt her because you choose to love me. Just...let me go Dylan. Please.” She begged looking at him.
[Dylan]
"You are not unloveable. You broke my curse Misty, you set me free. You think I have a great track record with relationships? Have you seen me?" He jokes to try to livin up the conversation.
"I have loved you since we met. There was this chemistry I couldn't explain it, neither of us could. I haven't fallen out of love with you. I can't even think about my daughter if I were to lose you. I can't let you go Misty. I don't care if it's selfish, I can't let you go. I tried everything but no matter what happens I always come back to you. I am not saying I can be perfect and we both know I can never be Nibs but just please can we just try. You are loved and I want to show you that." He asks while letting his hands come to her cheeks and cup them gently. "Let me set you free from this pain. Please."
[Misty]
“I...I-okay...okay Dylan. We can try.” She said pulling away so he wasn’t touching her anymore. “I can’t turn my emotions back off though. It...I feel like I have no soul. I don’t like doing that. I can’t do it again.” She told him wrapping her arms around herself.
[Dylan]
"I can turn mine off or I can see if my grandfather can get me that bracelet thing." He explains before hugging her. "We can make it through this together okay? How about I take you home and I can set up a room for you, unless you rather we share?"
[Misty]
Misty felt his arms around her and hugged him back as she shook her head. “You don’t need to turn your emotions off...we won’t-I don’t think you need to do that.” She replied. “I can have my own room.”
[Dylan]
"Okay, your own room it is." He replies while taking her hand and leading her out of the dungeons before unfreezing the guards once they left.
[Misty]
She looked back at the castle before following Dylan back to his house.

Picking Up Liam [Cameron & Noah & Sam]
@sebastiansammichael @thenoahvalmont
[Cameron]
Cameron brought Noah up to the familiar house where Sam was taking care of the kids. He would squeeze Noah’s hand to reassure him that everything was okay as he knocked on the door and waited for the other to answer it.
[Noah]
Noah reluctantly followed Cameron to Sam's house reminding himself every time he felt Cameron squeeze his hand to stay nice and in a good mood. Standing in front of the other's  house, Noah just focused on finally being able to see their son again.
[Sam]
Sam had been entertaining his kids all day while taking care of Liam.  He had just gotten the two settled with lunch and was feeding Liam when the knock came. Looking to the door he shouted for whoever it was to come in. Seeing Cam he sighed in relief. “Oh you have no idea how glad I am to see you. I have been on my feet all day. Between the two trouble makers running about and this one always hungry. I’d get you coffee but he was getting fussy to be fed.”
[Cameron]
The siren watches as Sam shouts for them to come in. He leads Noah inside to see Sam feeding Liam. “Ah he can get rather fussy about being fed but now that Noah is here hopefully you can take a break.” Cameron jokes before seeing Liam’s eyes light up as he sees Noah. His little hands making a grabby motion as he gurgles happily.
[Noah]
Noah follows after Cameron into the house smiling widely when he finally sees Liam. Watching Liam reach out for him Noah was a little hesitant to go over to them, but got over it quickly and went over to take him from Sam and hold him. Turning to Sam, the siren gave the other a soft smile. "Thank you for watching him." He said sincerely feeling Liam grab at his hair.
[Sam]
Sam smiles and hands the little one over. “Careful, when he gets really hungry he bites a little. I’m going to have nipple bruises.” He chuckles and nods to the once again mother. “No problem. He was better than these two when they were young.  I’m always up for babysitting. You guys taking him home for good?”
[Cameron]
Cameron nods his head, “Yeah we are going to take him home now. I think that is up to Noah.” He replies while looking at the other and seeing Liam grab at Noah’s hair.
[Noah]
Noah couldn't bite his tongue as he heard Sam's comment. "I'm his mother, I think I know what he's like when he gets hungry." He almost snapped before turning his attention back to Liam as the boy started pulling his hair. "I mean you left him here already despite how I feel, so why are you saying it's up to me now whether Liam can stay here or not?"
[Sam]
Sam was taken off guard by Noah’s words.  He thought maybe the boy was having a bad day and having Liam looked after by another mother made him upset. “Sorry. I didn’t mean anything by it.” He said unsure of how to respond.
[Cameron]
“Well it would be nice to have some time to ourselves occasionally so yeah I think we can do that. But we have to be careful. The little ones might not know about the whole biting a siren thing.” He replies before hearing Noah’s words. The siren frowns before clearing his throat. “We are not talking about this now. Calm down and at least try to be civil will you?”
[Noah]
"I don't want to be here anymore but you can stay Cameron, I know you probably really want to anyway." Noah replied looking at Cameron. "Like you pointed out it's been a long day and Liam stinks so he needs a bath and a nap." Noah said not bothering to care about controlling his attitude. "Thanks though." He added looking at Sam.
[Sam]
Nodded trying to not be rude he just smiled and waved bye to Liam. No problem at all. He’s a saint.” Sam didn’t know how Cameron could handle attitude, but then again him and Dylan could be grumpy too.
[Cameron]
“Maybe some other time we can stay and visit, I think I need to put more than Liam down for a nap.” Cameron replies trying to make a joke out of it to hide how awkward he felt, before nodding his head and thanking Sam. “Thank you for watching him and good luck with getting the younger one’s to sleep too.” He waves before turning around and leading Noah and Liam back to the cave.
[Noah]
Noah just hummed in response to other's words, shifting Liam in his arms before making his way out of the home with Cameron.
[Cameron]
Cameron wonders what had gotten into Noah while they were there but he was rather embarrassed. “What the fuck was that Noah? There was no need to be rude to him and you know it. Liam is perfectly fine and safe. He wasn’t a threat!”
[Noah]
"Lower your voice and do not cuss in front of our son." Noah lowly hissed as he moved Liam to his other side letting the baby rest on his shoulder. "You knew I didn't like Sam, you knew I didn't trust him, and yet you chose to take Liam there. You just stood there while he had the nerve to tell me how my son acts, like I didn't already know. What if that was Zero huh? Or better yet Eliza and Mark? I bet Sam's husband would never had let me do that to him. So contrary to how you feel, I had every right to be rude and you are so lucky that's all I said." Noah said moving past Cameron and heading home.
[Cameron]
“Yeah I left him with a werewolf because it’s sad to say that apparently leaving him with a werewolf is much safer than leaving him with a bunch of mermaids who have a grudge against us. You are completely right I wasn’t thinking about his safety because you know that mermaids would never go to werewolf territory which would ensure our son’s safety. There is a huge difference because for one I never slept with Sam  when you slept with both Mark and Eliza. Don’t say there isn’t a difference because there is. You have had feelings for both of them before and I have not had any towards Sam so you need to stop trying to use that as an excuse because you already know that you are the only one that I would want like that.”
[Noah]
"It's always different when it comes to you. You can never own up to what you did and you always use my past to make a justification for something that upsets me. It's like you'll replay the same excuse and say the same sweet words and just expect me to believe it and forgive you. You don't even understand why I'm mad Cameron or why this situation makes me so angry and it's like you don't even care." Noah replied walking into the cave and going to Liam's bedroom.
“What and you’re not? You keep using him when you know there is nothing between him and I! Then please explain to me why you are so angry at the fact that you are the one that left and I did what I thought was best!  I told you I am not the best at figuring out things and yet you left me to get yourself killed and had you actually been killed I probably would have been worse than how you found me.” Cameron retorts. “Why is it that you get the right to be mad all the time yet when I bring stuff off you just brush it off as if it were nothing.” He replies while looking at the other.
[Noah]
Noah was able to get Liam to fall asleep and when he heard Cameron raising his voice again he quickly put Liam in his crib before shutting the door and glaring at Cameron. "Did you venomize me to be apart of your sick game Cameron? When you met me was I just another level e for you to venomize and kill when you got done or bored? Was it by accident that you fell in love with me?" Noah asked in all seriousness as he looked at the other.
[Cameron]
“What the heck are you talking about? No, it wasn’t part of some sick game. I fell in love with you at first sight Noah. I left all that behind because of you. You are the reason why I wanted to change what I had become and start over with the life that I should have had. A life with a loving husband and family, that was all I ever wanted when I was younger but that was before my brother turned me into a monster. I don’t believe that you could fall in love with someone on accident. I firmly believe that there was a reason that I met you and I don’t want to dare think about what my life would have been had I not met you.” Cameron admits honestly as he looks at Noah.
[Noah]
"How am I supposed to believe that I changed you and I'm so special when right after you freed me you went to some werewolf? You were fucking hungry Cameron? Really? I was right there! You know I would have never said no to you! I would have done whatever you wanted because I loved you!" He yelled before running a hand through his hair trying to calm himself down as he remembered Liam was sleeping. "I left for what two fucking hours and you took him to the one person I hate, the one person I can't stand. If I left Liam with Eliza you would be so livid, you wouldn't even be talking to me. Hell you would have been better handing him over to the royal guard, at least I have slight respect for them." He said pushing past Cameron and going to their room.
[Cameron]
“Actually if you want to be specific I went to find you but you were hanging out with Mark and the rest of your little posy and I didn’t want to intrude given that they already didn’t like me as it was.” Cameron shakes his head, “It wasn’t two hours to me. You left in the middle of the night and I woke up to an empty bed. I woke up in the morning thinking you left me and our son. I didn’t even do anything with the damn wolf I dropped Liam there because he is safer with a wolf that can attack and kill any siren that tries to go near our baby. No one would touch Liam if he is in enemy territory and I think you know that deep down.”
Seeing the other walk away from him, Cameron went over and took Noah’s arm. “This is exactly the reason why I didn’t want you to go anywhere in the first place because apparently no matter what I do I am wrong. You went to get yourself killed Noah. You didn’t even bother to fight for staying as a family and trying to appeal to the better nature of the other sirens what does that tell you? Even you think that they can’t be moved with sympathy or make exceptions to anything which is why you just gave up and accepted death. You accepted to leave us behind because of a stupid rule that shouldn’t have applied to you. Had you maybe fought for the right to live your friend wouldn’t have had to die for you. No one would have had to die because you would have fought for what you thought was right instead of just giving up. I didn’t give up Noah, I tried to find you and I tried to do what is best. You can’t blame me for trying.”
He lets go of Noah’s arm, “And just for the record, I never loved Sam as I love you. If you didn’t love Eliza before and you left Liam with her, I would have understood, but given the fact that you loved her in the past it would make it difficult for me to accept that. If you left him with Tootles or Finn that would have been fine or even Misty if you wanted to but you honestly have nothing to worry about when it comes to the dog, Noah. I just wish you would understand and see that.”
[Noah]
Noah felt his arm being pulled by Cameron causing him to stop and listen to the other. "Don't use seeing me with Mark as an excuse. I would have dropped whatever I was doing to go with you and you know that. I ended my friendships for you so don't use them as an excuse as to why you chose to go with Sam. At the end of the day you venomized him, you did something you promised me you would never do again. You stand there and you tell me that all you'll ever want is me and that I changed you, that I was different. Whether we like it or not our relationship is based on you venomoizing me and I don't want to be on the same level as someone like that." "I didn't give up Cameron. I had to do that. If I didn't they would have kept coming for me, I'm an e. That's all they'll ever see whether it's true or not. You think I wanted to leave you? To leave Liam? No I wanted to be here, I didn't want to die. Are you saying because I didn't fight to a little ounce of sympathy I know they don't have Grace is dead? Well I'm sorry Cameron. I'm so sorry I left you. I'm sorry you had to wake up without me, but what I'm most sorry for is all of things my daughter won't get to do. You don't think I'm thinking of every other thing I could have done so she'd still be here?" Feeling Cameron let his arm go he looked at the ground. "Maybe we were wrong earlier...this won't ever work. Not with the way we are now. There are so many issues and I can't handle them all at once. You stood there as he told me what Liam was like, you were embarrassed by me, and you weren't on my side. I don't care if you thought what I was doing was awful, for once I would like you to just respect my decisions." Noah said before heading back to the room. "I'm sleeping at the level e camp tonight. We need space." He added closing himself in the bedroom away from Cameron.
[Cameron]
Cameron heard the other’s words about needing space and his mind spun at what had happened last time that he gave Noah space. “No. Last time I gave you space you went and slept around. Last time I gave you space you got drunk and almost killed our baby. I am not leaving you alone. Not now, not ever. I don’t care how much you want to push me away I am not leaving you, not at a time like this. You said that you wanted me to be with you during our time apart and this is me proving to you that no matter how much you push me away I will always be there for you. I wasn’t embarrassed by you either. Given I wasn’t very fond of your temper but I understand why you acted the way you did.”
[Noah]
Noah was glad there a door between them so he couldn't look into Cameron's eyes and feel like everything was going to be okay. Because it wasn't. Grabbing a small bag he started putting some of his clothes in it. "All I want to do is sleep at my old tent Cameron. I don't want to be around anyone, you don't have to worry about me getting drunk or killing our-" Noah stopped as he processed the other's words. Opening the door he didn't care if Cameron could see he was packing as he asked, "Is that why you didn't say anything? Are you mad at me? For not wanting to keep Liam? Is that why you chose to stand there while Sam told me about our son because you think I deserve it?"
[Cameron]
“That is not why I gave Liam to Sam and I already told you that I left him with Sam as a safety precaution. I am very mad at you for not telling me anything and making the decision to try to kill our son without even having the decency to inform me that we were to have a son!  You wanted to end our family before I even was able to know that we were to have one and you knew how much that would mean to me. You know how much my family meant to me and how much you mean to me and you chose to not just keep it secret but to try to kill it as well. How can I not be upset about something like that! That is like me not telling you that I was going to have a kid on top of the fact that I thought I was sleeping with both of my ex’s and said that I still loved them. The only person you keep trying to use as an excuse is Sam and you can’t even use him as one because I never loved him. I never saw him as anything more than food. So you are right, I will never look at him the same way that I look at you because I don’t see you as just food Noah. I see you as my love and my life and that is why I can’t let you leave. I can’t let you leave because I don’t want to have to feel as if I won’t ever see you again.”
[Noah]
"No amount of apologies can ever make up for what I did. What I was going to do. Everyday I look at Liam I am so grateful that I have him and I hate myself for almost getting rid of the most important gift you could ever give me. You can spend your whole life hating me for that and I will understand that. I deserve that." Noah replied before shaking his head. "I just want to sleep somewhere else tonight. I'm already packed just let me go.."
[Cameron]
“I might be mad but I could never hate you, in the end, we have Liam which is all that matters but we need to both be here for him.” Cameron replies before shaking his head and hugging Noah. “No, I can’t let you leave because if I do, it would be almost as if I am dreaming this whole time. Last time you left, I thought you would never return. I can’t deal with that feeling. I don’t want to have to feel the pain of what it was like when you left me that night. It would hurt too much.” He buries his head against the crook of the other’s neck. “Please just stay…”
[Noah]
Noah stayed silent for a second as Cameron hugged him. He hated saying no to Cameron, especially when the other siren was in this state. He knew Cameron needed him to say he'd stay, but he was so angry and hurt. Pushing away from Cameron gently Noah nodded. "I won't leave but I'm sleeping on the couch. Today was just a lot Cam and I feel..." He stopped taking a deep breath before continuing, "I feel really alone right now and I know you're here and that you did nothing with Sam, but in my heart it doesn't feel like that. I don't feel understood and I can't...I can't make up what I almost did to Liam to you. And maybe this is some sick punishment for me...I stupidly and selfishly wanted to kill one of my children and the consequence of that is me losing my other child."
Cameron wanted him to share his feelings so he was going to try, but trying to voice them only continued to hurt him. "I just think we could use some breathing room, we're both really upset and I can't keep fighting with you. I can't be around you when the love we have for each other isn't there. It used to be so much stronger than this and it hurts way too much to think that this might be the beginning of the end for us."
[Cameron]
Cameron shakes his head, “You can take the bed. I will sleep on the couch. Liam always preferred you to comfort him if he awoke in the middle of the night.” He replies. “Then I won't go the the boy on the land ever again if it makes you feel better.”
Hearing Noah talk about how they needed space because love wasn't there confused him. “What do you mean love isn't there? I still love you even through everything that has happened to us. We can't just give up. That's what everyone else wanted remember? They wanted us to give up but then we proved them wrong. We proved to them that love always manages to conquer all right?” He swallows nervously, anxious at what Noah might respond.
[Noah]
Noah sighed hearing the boy's words. "Cam sleep on the bed please. I don't want to take away your friend and I don't want you to stop hanging out with him because you think it'll make me happy. I want you to understand why it hurts me and decide what to do on your own." "Cameron I love you, more than humanly possible, but I'm not in love with you right now. Being in love is what it was like when we first got together, when everything was a rush and we couldn't stand to be apart. When you say my name and my heart would skip a beat because I couldn't believe I had you. Being in love is what scares you and hurts you, because this one person has your heart and you'll never know what they'll do with it. Loving someone is when you care about them but you put yourself first, it's a fleeting emotion. We've been through so much and despite what we keep telling ourselves our love can't withstand everything. We say it but words are just words, it's hard to believe when the actions don't match. The way you look at me is different, the way you say my name is different. We're sad and that's okay, but we've been through so much that our love is breaking. It's like when I was with Eliza, I knew before I broke up with her that whatever I felt for her was gone but I thought I could save us, she kept telling me she would try harder and change, and that she loved me and wanted me. But if I had left her earlier then things would probably ended differently." He explained backing away from Cameron. "I don't want to put you in a loveless relationship. I don't want to keep you with me if I don't have faith, and I know you keep telling me to trust you but I can't. I'm scared. I don't want to be broken anymore so if you leave now I can handle all this pain now. I wish I could say I'm in love with you...I wish I could say that but I would be lying."
[Cameron]
Hearing Noah’s words, Cameron could have sworn that his heart stopped beating for a few seconds. The pain that happened for those few seconds literally took the air out of his lungs. It took him a few moments to be able to form words. “So...what you are saying... is that you are no longer in love with me?”
As he heard Noah mention Eliza and parallel their current situation to it. Cameron was under the impression that Noah was going to break up with him because he didn’t feel in love with him anymore like he did with Eliza. The fact that Noah said Eliza was the one that mentioned she would do anything to keep Noah around, only reminded him of himself. He wanted out because Cameron was too much like Eliza.
“You told me before that you didn’t want me to leave you because you were scared and now you are trying to push me away. I d-don’t understand….you are saying that if I leave...you won’t be broken? You won’t be hurt that I am gone? You won’t feel the need to be around me as I do with you? Is this your way of trying to end things with me? By pushing me away and comparing me to Eliza? You really think that I am that much like her?”
[Noah]
Noah shook his head, his heart breaking as he could feel the pain he had just put Cameron through. "I'm sorry I didn't want to tell you. I just can't lie to you when it comes to that. We don't talk anymore, we don't touch each other like we used to, and we can't make love because their isn't any." He said looking at the ground before looking back up at Cameron as he heard the other's next words. "You're nothing like Eliza. I just said that I let her keep leading me on and keeping hope alive when I should have listened to my heart and left. I'm saying that if you leave now I can handle the intense pain that will bring me now. I'll never get over you but I rather be broken more now then be broken again later. Every time I look at Liam I will see you in him, you don't think it'll hurt everyday? But I know if you leave me the initially pain will destroy me. I'm asking you to destroy me now if you want to leave me."
[Cameron]
“You know that I don’t want to leave you. I wouldn’t ever be able to, not after what happened with my brother. You are the only one that I felt understood me and didn’t judge me based on my bloodline. Even if you don’t feel it, I know that it is there deep down, you just need to open yourself up and allow it back into your life. I know that we aren’t married but the vows still have meaning to me. For better or for worse. I meant it when I said that I will be here for you. I don’t want you to be hurting but I don’t know how to help. In order for you to start the healing process you need to let go of the pain that is holding you back. You need to accept what happened and as hard as it is you need to move on.  What is your heart telling you now? Is it saying to fight or give up?” Cameron asks as he tries to hide his anxiety by putting his hands into his pockets to keep them from shaking.
[Noah]
Noah listened to the other's words and tears started to form in his eyes as Cameron told him he needed to accept what happened. He didn't think he could do it and he had shut off his heart hoping he could save himself from having reality hit him. "My heart is telling me to fight and mourn. To forgive myself, to try and love, not just you, but myself again." He stated creating an even bigger distance between the two of them as he shook his head. "But what if my heart is wrong Cameron? It has been before. My brain is telling me to leave and protect myself, to ignore my feelings because I can't handle them. Which one am I supposed to listen to?"
[Cameron]
“You just mentioned that you needed to listen to your heart before so why don't you listen to it now. You don't have to do it alone.  You also told me that you should never ignore your feelings like I was so used to doing. I would let it build up and it would just stress me out even more. By learning to let go and accept the past it made me happier when I was with you.” Cameron replies not wanting to step closer since the other took a step back.
[Noah]
"I don't want to accept it." Noah cried feeling the situation become all too real. "I don't want her gone Cameron...I have no idea how to fix this. I have no idea how I'll be okay after this. I don't want to leave you, I really really don't, but I don't think you deserve this. A relationship like this." He said, his breath becoming more rapid as he tried to calm himself down.
[Cameron]
Cameron goes over and hugs the other realizing that Noah was having what looked like an attack which Cameron was all too familiar with. He starts to rub small circles on the other’s back soothingly. “I’m still here with you because I want to be Noah, that should say something to you. I am here for you no matter what because we might hit some struggles in the road but even if we do I will always love you and especially at a time like this you need to know that there are people around that love and support you to help you through this.” The male replies, “Let me take some of your pain away, please.”
[Noah]
Noah calmed down as soon as Cameron came near him and started rubbing his back. Breathing easier he shook his head. "No...I need to feel this pain. I have to feel this. I have to accept this or I'll always be like, scared of emotions and scared of you and what you make me feel." He said wiping away the few tears that had escaped. "I don't know what I want to do. I need your help Cam.."
[Cameron]
“I can take away just a bit so that you can collect your thoughts.” He replies while wiping the tears from the other’s eyes. “I will help you don’t worry. I will help you through this.” Cameron replies while hugging the other and kissing Noah’s neck affectionately before nuzzling against it.
[Noah]
Noah thought about the other's words before feeling the kiss on neck. "Cam can you venomize me?" He asked not joking as he looked at Cameron.
[Cameron]
Cameron thought he was hearing things when Noah asked that of him. “W-What? I thought you didn’t want me to use my power on you? I promised you that I wouldn’t use it.” He replies while shaking his head unsure as to why Noah would suggest such a thing.
[Noah]
"I know but I need you to tell me to try. Don't tell me to love you and don't tell me to get over it but to try. If you don't I don't know what will happen. It might take me forever to get back to how I used to be."
[Cameron]
“Okay then try. I know you can get through this because you are a strong siren just like our baby boy okay? So you trying is enough to make me happy.” Cameron replies while rubbing the other’s back in a soothing manner.
[Noah]
Noah shook his head. "Saying it and doing it are two different things. I know me...you know me. We'll keep having these conversations, I'll keep pushing you away until one day you do actually leave. I won't give love a chance and I won't fall back in love with you. Please venomize me Cam."
[Cameron]
“Are you positive that is what you want me to do?” He asks again wanting to make sure that Noah wasn’t just testing him.  “What would happen when the venom wears off then?” Cameron asks in confusion.
[Noah]
"I don't know....I don't know." Noah said shaking his head. Running a hand through his hair he didn't know what to say anymore, he felt confused, and he just wanted the pain to stop. He wanted to go back to how they used to be, to when Grace was alive, when they were Coah, and when their biggest problem was Zero. He didn't know what he was going to do and he was scared to depend on Cameron.
[Cameron]
“We can cross that road when we get there then.” He replies while looking at the other and letting his teeth graze over Noah’s neck. Cameron’s eyes flash as he eats away some of the pain wanting Noah to be in a somewhat sound state of mind if he wanted Cameron to go through with the venomization.
[Noah]
Noah nodded in agreement of the other's words as he felt the other's teeth against his skin. He felt a small part of himself return after Cameron took the memories that were implanted into his mind. "Thank you." Noah said looking at Cameron.
[Cameron]
Cameron nods his head before kissing the other briefly. “What would you like me to do? Did you want me to carry through with venomizing you?” He asks.
[Noah]
Noah heard the other's question bit his bottom lip thinking about it before coming up with his answer. "I..." He stopped wanting to make sure he was about to make the right decision. "No, I don't. I'm sorry I put you in a position like that. The pain was just too much and it was clouding my judgement. I have to learn to accept what happened and move on, and I have to be open to having some faith again." He said before looking at Cameron. "I want to fall back in love with you, but all this might take some time. Are you sure you want to stay around and wait?"
[Cameron]
Cameron smiles at the other’s words. “I think you know by now that I wouldn’t leave you.  I know it might take time but I am willing to take that chance so that we could be a family hopefully in the future. I believe that we will make it through this...we will find a way...we always do.” The male replies as he steps closer and gives Noah a kiss. A kiss that would help reassure him that everything was going to be okay as well as him pouring himself into the kiss to show Noah how much he cared for and believed in the other.
[Noah]
"We always do." He repeated smiling softly as he nodded his head before feeling the other's lips on his. The kiss left him breathless as he could feel Cameron pouring all of himself into it, giving him the reassurance he needed to keep fighting. "Wow” was all he could say as he pulled away slightly trying to catch his breath.
[Cameron]
The siren smiles before pulling the other closer. “We had a long day today how about we get some sleep baby.” He replies while looking at the other as he rubs his eyes after letting out a small yawn as he rubbed his eyes.
[Noah]
Noah nodded seeing Cameron yawning. "That's a good idea." He replied. "I could use some sleep." He smiled softly.
[Cameron]
Cameron picks the other up before taking Noah to bed. He cuddles against the other and kisses Noah’s head. “Goodnight baby.”
