This fic is so soul consuming that I cling desperately to any shred of fluffiness. My favorite part was definitely Azriel’s voicemail he left for his mom. It was so sweet but also funny because he’s just like “yo mom I met this woman and I love her sm we are getting married and also I have adopted her child!” and I’m just like.. sir you haven’t even properly taken her out to dinner yet. 😫 He’s only a little crazy but he’s finally got his priorities straight and that’s all that matters!

He’s very much insane but he’s also in love so that makes it a little sweeter I suppose. Letting his mother know he was happy, and that he’d found the love of his life before he goes off to ruin it all—Star Son behavior right there lmao. Also, Elriel in apaixonar have just entirely skipped the whole Getting-To-Know-Each-Other part and slid right into domestic bliss like it’s the only natural thing in the world. Azriel is inches away from having her saved in his phone as The Wife and she’s half a day away from listing him as her emergency contact number. Idiots. Going to the ends of the world for each other when they haven’t had dinner yet.

neil perry- nightpaw, nightspark (night= the darkness he carries, double meaning with night/knight because he tries so hard to be strong and fights to stay positive, also night references midsummer nights dream, also the spark refers to acting and the society, his friends, and mr keating (and todd) being the spark of light and hope in the otherwise dismal life he had before)

todd anderson- hawkpaw, hawksong (his older brother is falconshine, they were both given the names of powerful birds by their parents to represent how they should 'soar above all others and be the best', he never felt connected to his name because it seemed to strong to be his, the song suffix softens it, references his love for poetry, finally feels like its his)

charlie dalton- charredpaw, charredfang (charred like charlie, probably a reference to his appearence maybe he has black smoky paws all color pointed, fang refers to his fighting spirit)

knox overstreet- overpaw, overheart (over, also he is a little soft lover boy, if anyone deserves the heart suffix its him)

steven meeks- meekpaw, meekfreckle (meek, also he as freckles)

gerard pitts- tallpaw, tallpine (hes very tall, has the same ah sound like gerard, pitts and pine have the p sound, and pines can grow to be very tall)

richard cameron- robinpaw, robincall (robin shares the r sound, they also have the red feathers like his red hair, call is a reference to him snitching and giving up the club at the end, also to how hes always trying to call out the others for being too crazy and extreme)

john keating- kestrelcave (ke sound, also another bird reference to allign him with todd, i think he is going to be todd's mentor though he kind of mentors all the others too, like his job is to mainly be the one to train the apprentices, also cave reference to obviously the location of the society)

General Background Of Lei Patel

Character: Lei

Genre: kind of angsty

Pronouns used: they/it

Warnings: abuse(physical and mental, not described), manipulation(implied), slight neglect(implied)

Notes: this’ll be formed into short general hcs in a sense? While I won’t spill at the details this’ll be an outline, also please say if I missed any warnings!

• they were born into the more higher classed of its decently large city, into a well known family

• while they did live comfortably so much pressure was thrown onto their shoulders, along with practically no attention from their parents

• their parents…had a horrendous way of dealing with their mistakes, carving Roman numerals into the underside of both their arms

• for most mistakes only fully stopping once they had reached around above their wrist, surprisingly it didn’t too hard of a time hiding these

• soon they scarred over leaving behind light scars of what happened, then the verbal/mental abuse started

• I will not go into detail but it was a very hard time for them, now when they were 14 their younger sibling was born and then they were completely shoved out of the spotlight to an extent

• which honestly they were glad about, skipping over a few events now their 18 and their parents had died due to disease(possibly a different outcome yet to be known)

• it’s parents had left a very good inheritance which was split for the two siblings, lei keeping control of it all till their sibling was of age

• soon they found passion in writing and broadcasting once it was made popular, soon even setting up their own small show

• talking about overshadowed crime cases and so on this attracted attention from others and many enjoyed it

• till a good amount of people had started spreading rumors and gossip which soon shut down their show, and cut off victims voices

• which infuriated lei yet they really couldn’t do anything but try and apologize, that was until a letter was neatly set on their old office desk

• which brings them to the manor after entrusting their aunt and uncle to take care of their sibling

• they had joined just after mike morton and took to the games…with an unnerving amount of calmness

• as more and more survivors arrived they had gotten along with most, only becoming close friends with the seer and a much newer survivor stylist(@bloosethegoose’s oc)also known as marisol fortue

• and that is all currently known or said about the narrator, may more be uncovered soon :)
